All My Children Update Friday 10/20/00

Chandler Enterprises

Tad is talking with a (beautiful) prospective client when Ryan burst in. 
Ryan announces that he has a business deal that Tad and Liza can't pass up. 
Tad asks the woman to leave telling her that he will meet with her later.  He
turns to Ryan.  "What is this all about?"  Ryan tells him that he has been
doing a lot of work on his company including filming a commercial.  He opens
his briefcase and gives Tad some papers.  He says that he wants to share some
of the profits with them.


PVI

Jake and Gillian are getting ready to eat but he leaves his briefcase with a
waiter.  They go into the dining room while David pays off the waiter for the
briefcase.  He opens it up and looks at the paper he wants.  He closes the
case and gives it back to the waiter and leaves.  In the dining room, Jake is
placing his order and he tells the waiter to heat up the fryer because he is
extremely hungry.  Elsewhere, Myrtle is seated at a table and is then joined
by Erica.  Erica immediately launches into a talk about Bianca.  She tells
Myrtle that Bianca has moved out.  She says that she is worried about Bianca
because of the things that happened to her in rehab.  She says that she
started to read Bianca's diary but was stopped.  She later found out that her
daughter had ripped out those pages from the book. 


Jackson's place

It looks like he is on the phone with a future date.  There is a knock at the
door and he cuts short the call and hangs up.  He opens the door to Bianca. 
She tells her uncle that she has left her mother's house and could she please
stay with him.  He tells her sure and invites her in.  She explains what
happened between her and her mother.  He listens with a sympathetic ear and
calmly tells her that her mother loves her and will do anything for her. 
Jackson's phone rings and it's Erica.  She asks if he has seen Bianca.  He
assures her that Bianca is fine and that she is right here.  He hands the
phone to the girl.  There's a short conversation between the two and Bianca
hangs up.  She tells her uncle that she is tired and would love to lie down
on the couch.  He reaches for a blanket and covers her up.  Later, Jackson is
gone and Bianca looks like she's having a bad dream.


Chandler Enterprises

Ryan makes to leave and Tad is showing him out when Jake and Gillian show up.
 He ushers his brother and sister-in-law into the office.  Jake explains that
he would like to take his wife to New York and could he borrow the plane. 
Tad agrees and while he is on the phone; Gillian sneaks out.  Ryan is still
in the hall but he is on his cell phone.


jail

Leo is in a cell and Greenlee is on the other side trying to talk to him.  He
seems to think that it will be a matter of time before he is out.  She tells
him that she overheard Derrick and the DA talking and because of their
embarrassment of the murder rap; the DA is personally going to prosecute him.
 She says that the only way that he could get off is through her grandpa.


PVI

Greenlee has found her grandpa.  He's at the bar having drinks.  He tells her
that she is a fool for getting mixed up with Leo.  She tells him that what
she feels for Leo is totally different for what she felt for Ryan.  She wants
him to drop the charges against Leo for her.  He promises to talk to Leo but
that is all.


jail

Leo is back in his cell and Greenlee's gramps is talking to him.  He tells
Leo that he will drop the charges on two conditions.  1:  He will give Leo
one million dollars to move to Europe and 2:  leave his granddaughter alone.


David's room

David is on the phone to Phil.  (I believe he is connected with the stuff
that Jake is working on)  Later, he has come out of the shower when there is
a knock at the door.  Erica is at the door.  He invites her in and she tells
him that she had no place else to go.  She tells him about her problems with
Bianca.  He does his best to reassure her that she is a good mother.  Erica
doesn't look convinced.  She asks him to hold her.
