All My Children Update Friday 8/25/00

Ryan's apartment

Ryan and Gillian are sitting on the couch talking about Ryan's trip.  She
wants him to change his mind but he tells her that even if he wanted to; it's
too late.  All the arrangements have been made. 


SOS

The dance contest is still going on.  It's Becca's and Leo's turn but
Greenlee needs to speak to him.  He tells Becca to see if another couple can
go on; he needs to speak to Greenlee.  She starts telling him her problems
but he doesn't want to hear it.  He goes back to Becca.  Greenlee gets a call
from her grandmother.  Her grandfather is in the hospital.  She runs out and
Becca and Leo start dancing.  (a very short dance, I might add) 


David's office

Dixie is on the phone with Tad making arrangements for dinner.  David comes
in and she hangs up.  She tells him that she'll be glad to stick around but
he says that he has to look in on a patient tonight.  His beeper goes off and
he tells her that it's Greenlee's grandfather and he leaves. 


hospital

David and Greenlee and her grandpa are discussing the older man's condition. 
David says that as soon as all the paper work is done; he'll be free to
leave.  Greenlee says that she will take them home but he won't let her.  She
kisses her grandfather and he and David leave.  She's about to make a phone
call but changes her mind.  Wade shows up.  He tells her that he is very
concerned about her grandfather but that the two of them are still business
partners.


SOS

Of course, Becca and Leo win the contest.  Greenlee is watching from the
background.  She goes to the bar and starts laying on the drinks.  Next thing
you know, she's standing on the bar and falls.  Mateo and others catch her. 
Leo starts pouring coffee for her and asks her what is wrong. She tells him
of the deal with Wade.  He tears into her for it.


David's office

Alex is talking to Dixie about the pill bottle that was found at Wildwind. 
David comes in and tells her that he was on his way to see her and he must
have dropped the bottle.  He suddenly tells Alex that he was going to try
Dimitri on the new medicine but he died.  Alex leaves and David leaves soon
after.  Alex comes in and wants to know what Dixie is hiding.  She hesitates
and then tells Alex to go to the hunting lodge.


Ryan's apartment

Gillian and Ryan are kissing when Adrian walks in.  Adrian tells them that
everything is ready.  He leaves and the two of them follow.  They start to
kiss again out in the hall and leave.  Greenlee comes out of the shadows. 
She uses her key to get into the apartment.  When she can't find Ryan, she
goes out in the hall and gets the fire hatchet.


plane

Adrian and Ryan and one of Adrian's associates are on the plane.  Gillian is
a stowaway.


hunting lodge

Dimitri is there waiting on David.  He is looking at a picture of Alex when
the door opens.  Alex is standing there.
