All My Children Update Monday 8/21/00

Airport

Dimitri is waiting on a plane to Switzerland.  He thinks back to the night
where Edmund proposed to Alex.

Midori and Greenlee are still talking.  He tells her that there is $3,000,000
missing from the incredibledreams.com.  She wants him to hold off and give
her a chance to put the money back.  He tells her that he will give her 24
hrs.


airport

Greenlee meets her grandfather at the airport.  She tells him that everything
is to his liking and she will even let him drive her car.  She asks him for
$3,000,000 for the company.  He reluctantly agrees.  Off in a corner, Dimitri
makes a call to Dixie.


hospital

Gillian and Joe are talking about Jake.  He tells her that he is going to
call Adrian to see if he will help.  He leaves and Alex comes in.  She tells
the girl about her engagement to Edmund.  She also tells her that she wants
her and Jake to be in the wedding.  She asks her to come to the tv studio
because she has something cooked up for Edmund.  Gillian declines saying she
has something else to do.  Later, Dixie joins her on the terrace.  She is
looking for Alex to sign some papers.  Gillian tells her that she is at WRCW
with Edmund.


tv studio

Edmund and Alex enter and he is immediately put into a wheelchair.  Haley,
Becca, and the girl from the Wave show appear as Nurses.  They entertain
Edmund as Alex and some of the crew look on.  Dixie and Gillian arrive during
the performance.  Dixie gets a phone from Dimitri.  He tells her he is at the
airport but won't tell her where he is going.  She leaves.  Gillian and Alex
and the others applaud the "Nurses" for a job well done.  Alex asks if they
can't go to the inn but Edmund tells her that he is due in Washington and he
has to leave for the airport.  Alex agrees to take them there.

Greenlee is sitting there thinking about Wade when Ryan shows up.  He tells
her that he is going on a business trip.  She wants to know where and he says
that it's a secret but it's business related.  He leaves and she spots Wade
still sitting there and goes to him.  She starts talking business.  Wade asks
her to wait that he'll be right back.  He tells Olivia what is going on with
the rich girl and she says to "milk her".  He goes back to the table and
Greenlee tells him that she has a business offer for him.

Dixie spots Dimitri and he wants to know what she is doing there.  She tells
him that she doesn't appreciate being hung up on and demands to know where
he's going.  She tells him that it's not a good idea to leave the country
while he's undergoing experimental treatment.  He shows her the ticket and
assures her that he will be coming back but as soon as he is pronounced well;
he will leave for good.  Meanwhile, Alex and Edmund show up at the ticket
counter.  Alex sits down and looks at the departure gate.  She gets up when
she thinks she sees someone familiar go through the gate.

Brooke is still pleading for Eliot to stay when Rev. Taylor walks in.  She
asks for his advice but he tells that it's Eliot's decision.  She sadly
leaves.  Reverend Taylor guesses that Eliot did not tell Brooke about being
the driver who killed Laura.  Eliot says he can't.  He says he neeeds help in
making the decision.  Rev. Taylor says that he doesn't need help; he's made
all the decisions up until. 


homeless shelter

Tina is talking to a girl who appears deaf.  (signing) Adrian comes in
bearing flowers.  He tells Tina that he is going off to get Jake.  Ryan comes
in and Tina says she is going to put the flowers in water.  Adrian says that
everything is all set except that they will need money for a plane.  Ryan
says that he has 3 million.  Later, Brooke comes in looking for Ricky.  Tina
goes to get him.  Tina and Ricky come in and Brooke asks the boy how he
feels.  He says that he feels terrible for turning in his father.  He also
tells her that Eliot will not let him down.  Brooke has a pained look on her
face.


church

Tina is deep in thought and near tears when Gillian comes in.  Gillian
guesses that Adrian is going back to get Jake.  From the way Tina is talking,
Gillian comes to the conclusion that Ryan is going with him.
