Episode #12089 ~ Nick makes a confession to Phyllis. Nikki tries to keep the peace. Victoria turns the tables on Adam.

Connor: Hello? Mom?

Chelsea: [ Laughs ] Hey, baby, it's me. [ Sighs ] I've missed you so much.

Nikki: Hi, darling.

Victoria: Hi.

Nikki: So, why did you want to meet me here? What's going on?

Victoria: Mom, we need to talk, and I wanted it to be away from the office.

Nikki: Well, that sounds serious. Does it have anything to do with ashland locke or cyaxares?

Victoria: No, no, not at all. It's adam. I think that dad is letting him hide out at the ranch.

Nikki: I haven't seen any sign of him.

Victoria: No, I know. It's just a hunch, but it's not a wild one. I was at the house the other day, and I saw a bottle of scotch out with a glass sitting next to it. I'm sure that it was adam'S.

Nikki: Why would you think that? Anybody could have been there having a drink.

Victoria: Because, mom, it's a rare brand that I happen to know is adam's favorite. I mean, did you really not know about this? It's really a surprise to you?

Nikki: If your father is hiding adam, he has not shared that with me. But if it's true, I can't say that I'm really that surprised.

Sharon: Rey, I didn't know that you had left. You were out?

Rey: I went to the gym. Needed to clear my head. I also went by crimson lights to pick up faith's favorite drink. Wish her luck in court today.

Sharon: You're not coming?

Rey: Nope, that's her parents' job. I'd just be a distraction.

Sharon: That's not true. And we have some time before we need to leave, and nick's not here yet, so why don't we talk?

Rey: That's all we've been doing is talking. There's too much pain and way too little trust between us.

Sharon: Now that we've slept on it, I was hoping that you would see things differently.

Rey: Nothing has changed for me since last night. I know this is hard for you to hear, sharon, but it's the truth. I still intend to leave after everything settles with faith.

Faith: Is this okay?

Sharon: You look great, babe.

Rey: Perfect.

Faith: I know I've said this before, but I have to say it again. I'm sorry for what I've done.

Sharon: We know you are, and we love you and we want to support you.

Rey: Smoothie is for you. I have to work today, but I want you to know that I'm thinking about you.

Faith: Thanks, rey.

Rey: Look, I know this is hard, but I'm proud of you for taking responsibility for what you've done. In fact, you're braver and a lot more responsible than some adults that I know. Good luck, kiddo. I love you.

Faith: Mom? You okay?

Sharon: Yeah. Of course I am. I just want to be the best mom that I can be for you today. I can't think of anything else.

Kyle: Hey, dad. Got a minute?

Jack: I hope this isn't more bad news. I'm not sure I can take any more of that.

Kyle: I know you're disappointed with summer and me for what happened with sally, and not to mention my showing up against your wishes to the meeting with ashland.

Jack: Yeah, that's about the size of it.

Kyle: I get it. And again, I apologize. I came to talk to you because there's something serious we need to discuss, but I'd rather lead with the good news. At least I hope you'll see it that way.

Jack: Okay, I'm listening.

Kyle: Summer and I are engaged again. And this time it's for keeps.

Phyllis: Okay. Okay. So, you said you had good news. What is it?

Summer: Well, this is not the kind of news that you sit on, so you will find out as soon as dad gets here.

Phyllis: Oh, hey. You're not gonna do that to your mother. Just give me a hint, please.

Summer: Hey, thank you for getting here so quickly.

Nick: Yeah, just on my way to sharon's to take faith to her court appearance. What's up?

Summer: Um...kyle and I are engaged! Yeah, we're getting married. Again. [ Chuckles ]

Phyllis: Yeah. Married. That's great! Yay! You're finally gonna do it.

Summer: Yes, and we can't wait.

[ Chuckles ] Dad?

Nick: Look, you know I want nothing more in life than for you to be happy.

Summer: But...?

Phyllis: There's no but, babe. There isn't, right?

Nick: Look, the last time you came to us with this news, you bolted on the guy and then you disappeared.

Summer: I know. I panicked. I should have trusted kyle more. I lost faith in him, in us, but, hey, we worked through it. And now I'm sure. We're both sure, and we're really, really in love and we want to be together forever, so.

Nick: Well, I'm gonna talk to kyle man-to-man, get some solid assurances from him, and then i can feel more comfortable with this, okay?

Summer: Really, dad?

Nick: Yeah, really. Listen, I really got to do this thing with faith. Let's talk about it more later, okay?

Summer: It's fine, I get it. Go. Just tell faith that I'm rooting for her. And just know that I am gonna pull out all the stops until you realize that this is the best news ever, so just be prepared.

Nick: Okay, I'm on notice. I love you both.

Summer: Love you.

Phyllis: Wait. Hey, hey, hey. What are you doing, you're just walking away?

Summer: Yeah, mom, you know, I wasn't gonna not include you in today. You deserved to know that I'm getting married, but that doesn't really change anything else.

Phyllis: What? What are you talking about? We can work this out. We can get past this of all things. Come on.

Summer: You know, I was so tempted to not include you just now. But I'm sorry, mom, sharing my good news with you does not equal forgiveness. It just means that I know how to do the right thing. Unlike you.

Phyllis: Hold up, you. Listen, I did what I did because sally posed a threat to jack and to you. You're my daughter. I'm always gonna protect you. Period. You're one of the greatest things that's ever happened to me, and I love you. So deal with it. And I think we're always gonna have problems because we're both strong-willed.

Summer: Speak for yourself.

Phyllis: Listen, I'm gonna protect you always. And I'm always gonna love you, and that's the way it is. That's never gonna change.

Summer: Yeah, just like you.

Phyllis: Just like me.

Summer: Mom, I know who you are. I don't expect you to change. But this one hit close home. I was so worried that sally was a threat to my job, when really, it just turns out that you were the one who nearly lost it for me. And I love you because you are my mom, but this is gonna take me a while to get over.

Phyllis: Oh, is it? Is it? Okay, well, would it help to know that jack ended things with sally? Oh, yeah, yeah. So don't worry about being in-laws with her because it's over. Can you thank me now?

Summer: Yes, that is something to be grateful for.

Phyllis: Mm-hmm.

Summer: Thank you. Alright, I'll see you later.

Phyllis: Okay.

Jack: Uh, that's great news.

Kyle: I know you're wondering about the timing. But what better time to tell the world we're committed? We've actually been engaged for a while, but kept it to ourselves, and we don't want to keep it quiet anymore.

Jack: In spite of the uncertainties about locke?

Kyle: I know ashland has a dangerous reputation for going after his enemies and their families, but there's no way he will get through me to cause harm to summer, and I refuse to put my life on hold for that guy.

Jack: Impressive. Though I'm not going to set aside my concerns about the man.

Kyle: Yeah, that's the other thing I wanted to talk to you about. I heard from billy.

Jack: Yeah, I heard from him this morning. He filled me in on all the dark rumors about jabot that are going around.

Kyle: Unsafe working conditions, mistreatment of employees, to name a few. If these rumors keep spreading, it's gonna cause even more issues with our lenders, suppliers, and distributors.

Jack: You think locke is behind these rumors?

Kyle: I'm convinced he is. After the way he cancelled our deal?

Jack: I admit the thought crossed my mind. But until we have proof, I am not going to assume he had anything to do with this.

Kyle: But that's the thing. By the time we get proof, the damage might already be done.

Faith: I've seen plenty of courtroom scenes in tv and in movies, but this is real.

Sharon: Yeah, this is scary. That's why your dad and I are gonna be there with you.

Nick: We've been to court many times. It's serious business, but just be respectful and polite.

Sharon: And honest, and everything will be fine.

[ Knock on door ]

Christine: Hi.

Nick: Hey.

Christine: Thought I'd come by a little early so we could go over a few things before heading to the courthouse.

Sharon: Well, we were just sharing some advice with faith, but I'm sure you have some more specific information on what she should expect.

Christine: It's okay to be nervous. Yeah, everybody is, especially their first time.

Nick: But don't be intimidated.

Christine: Right, just be yourself. Only speak to the judge when spoken to. If you have any concerns or questions, you can ask me.

Sharon: We'll all gonna be there with you. It'll be fine.

Nick: And know we're all in this together. And breathe. Don't forget that part.

Faith: Okay. I promise. Breathe.

Nick: And after that, you can head off to school for your afternoon classes.

Faith: Yeah, that's gonna be tough. Probably gonna get a lot of weird looks. I mean, how many kids have had to miss class for a court date? But please, don't worry about me. I can handle it. I promise.

Christine: You know, we should get going. Rule number one -- never be late for your court appearance. Judges don't tend to like that much.

Victoria: You know, it's funny, I thought you would be more outraged about this. Why are you just shrugging it off?

Nikki: I'm not shrugging it off. I'm just not shocked.

Victoria: Really, you're not shocked? You're not shocked that your husband is hiding a man that's accused of attempted murder. You're not shocked that dad's been lying to you.

Nikki: I'm just saying that's your father. He would do the exact same thing for you if the shoe was on the other foot.

Victoria: That's not my point.

Nikki: There is no reason for me to work myself up into a frenzy. It won't accomplish anything.

Victoria: What's it gonna take? I mean, is there anything that dad can actually do to upset you?

Nikki: Oh, please. I've gotten plenty angry with him over the years. In fact, that's where I gain the perspective to learn what battles to pick.

Victoria: And this isn't one of those? Wow, okay.

Nikki: Victoria, this is not as black and white as you seem to think. You need to remember two things. First of all, adam saved faith's life. And that has to count for something. I mean, we are all so very grateful.

Victoria: And the second thing?

Nikki: Adam can't stay hidden forever. I mean, eventually, he will be found. And the allegations against him are very serious. The gcpd isn't gonna give up.

Victoria: Mother, just think about all of the things that he's already gotten away with.

Nikki: Honey, you can't let this get to you. You have a huge victory to celebrate. You landed ashland locke's company. So savor that win. All this other stuff will work itself out, alright? Now, I'm sorry, I have to go. I have a meeting at the office. I will see you later.

Victoria: Hi, rey. It's victoria newman. Would you please call me back? We need to talk. Is now a good time for a flare-up?

Jack: I guess summer told you the same thing kyle told me earlier.

Phyllis: Yeah. Good news travels fast, right? Nick is having an issue with it, but I'll bring him around. You're not having a problem with this engagement too, are you?

Jack: No, no, no. I love summer, you know that. I didn't want to get into it with kyle, but it's kind of hard to separate this from everything else. Those two couldn't have done a worse job in handling this thing with sally. They're all three to blame.

Phyllis: Oh, okay. Listen, I know you're hurting. I understand that. But I hope you won't hold what happened with sally against summer. I mean, yes, yes, there's blame to go around. But not everybody deserves the same share.

Connor: I've missed you too, mom. So much. It's been such a long time since we talked. I was starting to get worried. Are you okay now?

Chelsea: Just seeing your handsome face and hearing your voice is all the medicine i need.

[ Sighs ] Just look at you.

Connor: I'm glad you called me.

Chelsea: And this is so much better than texting, isn't it? Not that I didn't love all of the messages you've sent me since my surgery. But, connor, I am getting better and better every day. And we're gonna be able to see each other soon.

Connor: I can't wait.

Chelsea: And we do, I have to warn you, I am going to squeeze you so tight that you're not even gonna be able to breathe.

Connor: Where's dad? I want to talk to him, too.

Chelsea: You know, he really wanted to be on the call, but he's busy working with grandpa today, so it's just gonna be you and me. But that's okay, right?

Connor: It's cool. I'm just so happy you can finally talk to me.

Chelsea: So tell me -- how's everything going? How's school? Are you still liking it there?

Connor: Yeah, it's pretty fun. I got an a on my math test.

Chelsea: [ Gasps ] Oh, my gosh! Connor, I'm so proud of you. And what about your friends? Have you made any new ones?

Connor: There are some guys i play soccer with. Uh-oh, mom. My class is getting ready to start. I've got to go.

Chelsea: Wait. Can you be just a little late this one time? No. You know what? I'm sorry. I take that back. Go. You should -- you should go to class. I just... there's so much for us to catch up on, but we'll have plenty of time to talk later, and I will make sure I squeeze every last bit of information out of you.

Connor: Deal. Love you, mom.

Chelsea: I love you with all my heart. Bye, connor.

[ Sighs ]

Rey: Okay, victoria. Got a lot on my plate and not a lot of time, so let's make this quick.

Victoria: You may have to revise your to-do list in just one minute.

Rey: What's that supposed to mean?

Victoria: Look, I'm sorry that I couldn't tell you this over the phone, but I felt i needed to deliver the news in person. I mean, assuming you are still looking for the person who poisoned you.

Rey: Okay, look, I'm in no mood for games. What are you talking about? Do you know where adam is?

Victoria: I can't say for sure. I mean, I didn't see him in person, but I did see evidence of his presence.

Rey: Where?

Victoria: Oh, about 100 yards from where you go to sleep at night.

Rey: Adam's at the ranch?

Victoria: I was at the house the other day and I saw a glass sitting next to a bottle of scotch. One that I happen to know is a particular favorite of adam'S. My dad, he's a tequila man and my mother, she doesn't drink at all, as you know. Well, I know it's not proof that my dad has given adam a safe haven, but, I mean, don't you think that it's something that you might want to check out?

Rey: Thank you. (Drill sergeant) what a pleasant morning.

Nick: Well, I'm glad that's over. I bet you are too.

Faith: It was tough, but i got through it.

Nick: And I thought the sentence was very fair -- $500 fine payable in 60 days, 100 hours of community service, with proof of outpatient treatment for substance abuse.

Sharon: And christine assures us that this will be expunged from your record when you turn 17, if you complete your sentence.

Faith: I promise I'm gonna work hard to earn every penny of that fine. I can babysit for christian and do extra chores around the house. Oh, and I have the money that i was saving for some new tack for patches.

Sharon: I was really proud of the maturity and poise that you showed in front of the judge today.

Nick: Especially the way you accepted responsibility. You stood up there, took your punishment like an adult. Obviously, I'm not happy with how we got here, but I think we learned a very valuable lesson.

Sharon: We want to know how you feel.

Faith: I guess I'm just relieved that it's all over. But what I did doesn't just go away because the judge said, "court adjourned."

Nick: Well, are you ready to go back to school for your afternoon classes?

Faith: I guess so. I know everyone's gonna be staring at me. And even though jordan was suspended, all her friends are gonna be blaming me for sure. The bullies haven't gone anywhere. It's not great, but I'm not gonna run away from it either. I'm gonna hold my head up and face them.

Kyle: Why am I not surprised nick wasn't thrilled? Your dad seems to enjoy giving me a hard time.

Summer: I thought that's the way it was supposed to be. Dads never like the guy who comes to whisk away their daughters.

Kyle: I think he takes that to a whole other level. He gets all intense.

Summer: Are you feeling insecure?

Kyle: No, I am not. I'm just saying I wouldn't mind being cut a little slack every once in a while. I mean, I know our track record isn't perfect. In fact, some of it isn't pretty, but since we've been back together, we've been a perfect couple, and I wouldn't mind your father recognizing that.

Summer: Why don't you come here?

[ Cellphone rings ] Oh, I'm sorry. Do you have to get that?

Kyle: Um, mm, mm. No, it can wait.

Summer: Yeah.

Kyle: Yeah. Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

Summer: Come here.

[ Both laugh ]

Victor: I understand you want to see me, detective.

Rey: Not exactly. I'm looking for adam. Perhaps you can point me in the right direction?

Victor: This some kind of game you're playing or what?

Rey: I don't make it a habit of playing games when I'm doing my job. Especially when my job involves finding the man who tried to kill me.

Victor: What makes you think he's here? What makes you think I know where he is? In fact, I wish you would find him. Then I would know that he is safe.

Rey: That's a pretty rare brand of scotch. Does it live up to its reputation?

Victor: I prefer tequila.

Rey: Well, looks like somebody's been drinking it.

Victor: Really?

Rey: Mm-hmm.

Victor: Huh.

Rey: The point is, harboring a suspect is a crime in and out of itself. It's called aiding and abetting.

Victor: Give me a break, will you? Every tom, dick, and harry knows about that law. But if you're after justice, then I suggest you go see chelsea.

Rey: Why would you suggest that?

Victor: Don't you think it's rather odd that after months of silence, she suddenly regained her ability to talk, her ability to move?

Rey: Well, is there another reason you think she's not a victim?

Victor: The reason is I think she's been playing the victim far too long. It's almost suspicious.

Rey: I will take that under advisement. But first things first, I came here for adam, so if you don't mind, I'd like to take a look around. It shouldn't be a problem if adam's not here. Okay.

Victor: I do mind. Let me ask you something, since you're such a great detective.

Rey: Uh-huh.

Victor: Do you have a search warrant?

[ Laughs ] I didn't think so.

Rey: Alright.

Victor: Okay?

Rey: Yeah.

Victor: So this conversation's ended.

Rey: Uh-huh.

Victor: Alright?

Rey: Yeah. Oh, but thank you for proving my point. You've just convinced me that my theory is correct.

Victor: And what theory is that? Who put that in your head?

Rey: Your oldest daughter. Does that surprise you? After forty, we need anti-aging care that works.

"The young and the restless"

will continue.

Phyllis: I mean, I guess one could say that summer overreacted when she flew to los angeles to get the dirt on sally. Yeah. But she was following her gut reaction. She was following her instincts, and, of course, sally -- nothing's wrong with sally. Sally's perfect, right?

Jack: Phyllis...

Phyllis: Then the justification came in when summer's gut reaction proved to be true. Everybody has sins. Everybody has them. But summer's do not compare to sally's at all, and that is the cold, hard truth.

Jack: Sally made her fair share of mistakes. She -- oh, god, listen to me. Sticking up for her again. This is a habit I'm gonna have to find a way to break now that you have opened my eyes.

Phyllis: Well, you know, I'm good at delivering the cold, hard truth.

Jack: You know what? I just realized something else.

Phyllis: What's that?

Jack: You have never once said, "I told you so."

Phyllis: Oh, I would never do that to you, ever. Maybe I'm saving it for another day. Just wait.

Chelsea: I wanted to thank you, headmaster hargrove, for all of your support during my illness. I'm actually doing a lot better now. But we need to discuss the situation with his father. By now, I'm sure you're aware of the news about him, and I am so grateful to the school for being able to shield connor from all of it. But, unfortunately, all the stories are true. By now, I'm sure the authorities are watching the school just in case adam shows up there, but my main priority is ensuring my son's safety, so I will be filing a restraining order against adam. The awful truth is adam is a danger to himself, to my son, and to anybody else he comes into contact with.

[ Doorbell rings ] I'm so sorry. I have to go.

[ Clears throat ] Come in. It's open. Rey. I didn't expect you back so soon.

Rey: You alone?

Chelsea: Yeah, I'm trying to make do until a new nurse is assigned. Is there something I can help you with?

Rey: Yeah, I was hoping you had some thoughts on where adam might be hiding out. I know this is difficult for you, considering everything you've been through, but it's important.

Chelsea: We've been through this. My best guess is to ask sharon if it has anything to do with adam.

Rey: I got a tip that adam might be hiding out at the newman ranch. I was able to search a few of the buildings without a search warrant, but still found no sign of him.

Chelsea: So, you think he could be close by?

Rey: I have no solid information to confirm that, only hunches and theories.

Chelsea: Hmm.

[ Clears throat ] Well, I spoke to connor's headmaster, asked him to keep a lookout for adam. I also told him I'm filing a restraining order.

Rey: That's good. That's a smart move. I'm glad to see that your recovery is to the point that you don't need a nurse. You're improving so fast.

Chelsea: It seems like something's weighing on you, rey. Are you okay? I'm -- I'm sorry about that -- the crack about sharon. I'm sure that was the last thing you wanted to hear.

Rey: Yeah, I think it's best if we leave my marriage out of this.

Chelsea: I was just thinking how similar our situations are, all thanks to adam.

Rey: There'S... there's no comparison.

Chelsea: Are you sure? I thought I had a future with him, [Clears throat] A family to cherish. I really hope you and sharon can persevere through all this despite all of the ways adam's tried to get between the two of you. I mean, [Clears throat] If i end up alone, so be it. But I would hate for that to happen to you because of adam's obsession with your wife. I just hope sharon's owned up to her part in all of this.

Faith: Hey, mark.

Wayne: Where's jordan? My lab partner was suspended because of you. I needed her notes, loser.

Faith: I'm sorry, but that's not my fault.

Moses: Go ahead. Call her that again.

[ Door opens ]

Sharon: I'm glad you're home.

Rey: How'd it go in court?

Sharon: Pretty much as expected. There were no surprises. Everything went just the way that christine said, the sentencing.

Rey: Faith got through it okay?

Sharon: She was so strong and mature. I wish you would have been there to see her.

Rey: Sharon, don't, don'T. Nothing's changed for me. I still intend to leave after everything settles with faith. Understood?

Sharon: Of course. If that's the way you want it.

Rey: Besides, I still have a job to do.

Sharon: Finding adam.

Rey: When I woke up this morning, the last thing i expected to be doing was searching the ranch for him, but that's exactly what I wound up doing.

Sharon: The ranch?

Rey: Yeah. Based on a tip. And I sure hope that's surprise in your voice.

Victoria: Okay, dad. I'm here. What was so important that I had to drop everything?

Victor: Did you tell rey, that detective, that adam was hiding out here?

Victoria: Did you really aid and abet a fugitive?

Victor: You betrayed me, pure and simple. How often have I told you that when we have trouble within the family, it stays within the family. We don't make trouble with outsiders.

Victoria: Why don't you answer my question?

Victor: I don't have to answer your questions. Now, you want to find adam? Go take a look around the ranch. You won't find him. He isn't here.

Victoria: Well, if that's the case, then I guess you helped him to move on, but that doesn't mean he wasn't here in the first place. You know your precious adam tried to kill a police detective.

Victor: How often have I told you that he's innocent?

Victoria: And how often do i have to say that your blind loyalty to adam is going to push the rest of your family further and further away?

Victor: My blind loyalty extends to all of you! All my children! I've always been there for you!

Victoria: You say that, but the truth is it's always one of us --

Victor: Enough!

Victoria: Over and over again.

Victor: Enough!

Nikki: What is going on here? What is happening?

Where can a healthier heart

lead you?

Wayne: Back off.

Moses: Or what? You know this kid?

Faith: Uh, yeah. Wayne, he's in my homeroom.

Moses: Hey, look at that. She called you by your real name instead of some lame insult like "loser." I mean, she could have called you scrub, idiot. Personally, you look more like a wuss to me.

Wayne: Who you calling a wuss?

Moses: Oh, you didn't like that one. Okay. Come to think of it, idiot, moron have a nice ring to them. Faith has way too much class to call you out, but I don't roll like that when I run into a mental jackass like you. Guess you think it's cool to trash a girl who just got out of the icu. You want some street cred? I'll give you some cred. Step off.

Faith: Moses, you were brutal.

Moses: That jerk deserved it. All tough when it comes to bullying a girl, but a real wimp when he's called out on it.

Faith: I appreciate you defending me, but I can handle it myself. I don't need anyone fighting my battles for me.

Moses: I was just doing him a favor. You probably would have been really hard on him. Would have made him cry.

Sharon: Adam is on the ranch? Where?

Rey: That's what I'm trying to nail down. Hiding out here is pretty risky, so I suspect that he's moved on by now.

Sharon: And victor helped, no doubt.

Rey: That's the theory.

Sharon: Rey, I swear to you, I had no idea.

Rey: I believe you.

[ Cellphone chimes ] I'm glad that you had no idea about adam being at the ranch, but after all the lies and evasions, you can understand why I was suspicious, can't you?

Nikki: What are you two arguing about? I could hear you all the way outside.

Victor: Ask your daughter, alright? She went to the damn detective with her suspicion that I was harboring adam.

Nikki: This is no time for this kind of divisiveness. I don't care if it's about adam or about fighting about cyaxares. This kind of animosity has got to stop before it goes too far.

Victor: Do me a favor and stay out of it, alright? This is between your daughter and me.

Nikki: Your father's wrong. Anything that affects this family involves me.

[ Both laugh ]

Summer: What happened? Was the water too hot for you?

Kyle: No, I like it just as hot as you do.

Summer: Oh.

[ Both laugh ]

Kyle: Um...that -- that call I ignored before the shower was from tara. She didn't leave a message.

Summer: Are you gonna call her back?

[ Cellphone rings ]

Kyle: Tara, why are you calling?

Tara: I just thought you should know, ashland and I just had a fight. It was awful.

Kyle: Um, what about?

Tara: He was furious. He just kept screaming and shouting at the top of his lungs. I can't talk to him when he gets like that.

Kyle: Tara, tara, slow down. Just tell me what you were arguing about.

Tara: I have to go.

Kyle: No, just tell me one thing. Was this fight about me?

Tara: Harrison needs me. I have to call you back.

Summer: What did she want?

Kyle: I have no idea. Tara and locke got in a huge fight and she hung up before saying whether it had anything to do with me.

Summer: I mean, why would she call if it didn't?

Kyle: Yeah, maybe I should call her back. No, no, I shouldn'T. It could make problems even worse, if there is a problem.

Summer: I mean, you look pretty worried, kyle.

Kyle: My dad almost had me convinced that ashland wasn't behind these rumors about jabot. When I combine that with the fight that tara just had with him, I get a very uneasy feeling.
