Episode #11571 ~ The Newmans are rocked by a stunning verdict.

Provided By Suzanne

Previously on "the young and the restless"...

Jack: I understand you're feeling a certain sense of loyalty to phyllis. She's the one that brought you to jabot.

Kerry: I need my loyalty to be with this company, not to the person running it.

Tessa porter, you're under arrest for extortion.

Nick: Summer? Who the hell is she engaged to?

Abby: Kyle.

Nick: Isn't he with lola?

Abby: For months now. And he's crazy about her. All I know is that they are tying the knot.

Jack: How long does it take a jury to come up with a verdict?

Victor: It's time.

Billy: So, they tell us the verdict is in, then they just make us wait here?

Abby: Well, the hearing's not scheduled to start for another few more minutes.

Billy: You know, if victoria's convicted, she's gonna be gone for a long time.

Jack: Hey, you can't start thinking the worst-case scenario.

Billy: Well, I have to, jack. Because today might be the day that everything changes. And I don't know what I'm gonna tell johnny and katie if their mother is gone for years, potentially.

Jack: In the very unlikely event that that happens, johnny and katie have the best father they could possibly hope for.

Billy: What if I'm not enough for them? What if they need more?

Jack: All they need is a whole lot of love. We just stumble along from there. Look, there's no sense worrying yourself sick until we have a verdict.

Abby: The jury deliberated for a while. Hopefully that's a good sign.

Billy: [ Sighs ]

Jack: Hey, we have to keep a positive attitude.

Billy: I know, I know. She needs me at full strength. And she needs us to be a strong, united front.

Abby: My dad should be here. I can't believe they banned him. And where is nick?

Nick: Hey. I've been looking for you. Keep your coat on. We got to go.

Summer: Why? What's going on?

Nick: Jury reached a verdict. We need to get to the courthouse.

Summer: Wow. Wait, so this is -- this is it.

Nick: This could be a life-changing moment for your grandmother and aunt. But it's not the only news in the family, is it? Are you engaged, young lady?

Summer: Yeah. I wanted to be the one to tell you, and in person. Yeah.

Nick: [ Sighs ]

Summer: I mean, it's exciting. Right?

Nick: Is it?

Summer: Yeah. I mean, it's everything I've ever wanted.

Nick: [ Scoffs ] I mean... I don't know what to say.

Summer: Okay, well, you could say, "yes."

Nick: Yes to what?

Summer: To giving me away. I want you and mom to walk me down the aisle tomorrow.

Nick: Tomorrow? You're getting married tomorrow?

Nick: Why do you feel the need to get married in less than 24 hours?

Summer: Okay, well, it's not a shotgun wedding, if that's what you mean.

Nick: You know, I didn't even know that you and kyle were dating.

Summer: Yeah. We re-ignited a love that's been there for years.

Nick: Last I heard, he was with lola rosales.

Summer: Yeah, for all the wrong reasons. And now that's over.

Nick: Okay, well, any guy who ping-pongs back and forth between women like that is not ready for marriage.

Summer: I'm sorry, dad. Uh, mom, sharon. Pot, kettle.

Nick: [ Huffs ] Well, I, uh -- I rushed back into things with your mother, and look what happened.

Summer: Okay, well, this is different. Kyle and lola's relationship, that made us realize that we should stop playing games and be honest about our true feelings. And in our love story, lola is gonna just be a blip.

Nick: If you and kyle are just so meant to be together, then push it back to a better time, when your family isn't going through so much.

Summer: Look, when I think about grandma and grandpa and the separation that they might be facing, it makes me want to marry kyle right away and just cherish every moment that we have together, because you never know when something terrible might just take everything away. I mean, look at lola. I don't even think that she could have imagined the position that she'd be in right now.

Nick: Yes, life can be cruel, and you can't count on anything. But I can't -- I can't think about my mother and sister like that, okay?

Summer: I know.

Nick: I have to believe that they're going to get acquitted today.

Summer: Okay. And, hey, if that happens, then well have even more reason to celebrate tomorrow.

Nick: I still think this is a mistake.

Summer: I'm sorry that you feel that way.

Nick: Then you will postpone this, right?

Summer: I just wish that you'd be more supportive.

Nick: I'm trying to get a clear picture of this situation.

Summer: All right, dad. I'm gonna give you all the clarity that you need. I am getting married tomorrow, and nothing is going to stop me.

Abby: The jury's gonna see that what the women did was justified.

Billy: That's what I keep telling myself.

Abby: The last thing they heard was victoria's testimony, and it was very powerful.

Billy: Yeah, it was. But they also heard what phyllis said. I can't help but think this would be different if it wasn't for her.

Abby: Oh, speaking of...

Billy: You're unbelievable.

Jack: Billy, don't go there.

Billy: What -- what are you doing here?

Phyllis: I came to offer my support.

Billy: Well, you're the last person in the world that these three women want to see.

Phyllis: Yeah, well, you don't think I want to pretend this did not happen or that it doesn't concern me anymore? I can't do that. I need to see this to the end.

Billy: Oh, so you can assuage your own guilt? Got it.

Phyllis: Back off. I don't want to make a scene.

Billy: Well, it's too late. You're already here. What patients don't realize is

Tessa: Hi.

Mariah: Hey. Thank god you're here.

Tessa: Yeah. Thank you for posting my bail.

Mariah: Of course.

Tessa: [ Sighs ]

Mariah: The apartment was so empty last night. Are you okay? How are you doing?

Tessa: I'm fine. Please do not worry about me.

Mariah: Of course I'm worried about you. You're being charged with blackmail.

Tessa: Okay, we can talk about that later. I think that sharon and the others need all of our thoughts and energy. Is there any hint which way the jury's gonna go?

Mariah: None. My mom's future is in the hands of total strangers.

Brittany: Christine looks very sure of herself.

Michael: Mm-hmm. She puts up a good front. But I've known christine a long time. She's nervous behind that poker face. On some level, she knows the defendants don't deserve to go down for this.

Brittany: Let's just hope the jury feels the same way.

Michael: [ Inhales deeply ] Oh, I hate this.

Brittany: The waiting?

Michael: The feeling that your clients' fates are completely out of your hands.

Brittany: Well, given the circumstances, I think we put on the best defense possible.

Michael: Good luck to you, counselor.

Brittany: You too.

Michael: How you holding up?

Nikki: The anticipation is torture.

Michael: Listen, once the judge calls the session to order, she's going to ask each of you to stand up.

Brittany: And then the jury foreperson is gonna read the verdict for each one of you separately.

All rise!

Judge mcgarrett: Everyone please be seated so we can begin. I would like to start today with a warning -- outbursts will not be tolerated. Individuals who choose to disrupt these proceedings will be escorted out, and could find themselves facing legal charges. Understood? Good. Has the jury reached a verdict?

We have, your honor.

Judge mcgarrett: Will the defendants please rise?

In the case of the people versus nicole newman on the charges of second degree intentional homicide and obstruction of justice, we find the defendant... guilty.

In the case of the people versus victoria newman on the charges of being party to second degree intentional homicide and obstruction of justice, we find the defendant... guilty. In the case of the people versus sharon newman...

Tessa: Sharon's gonna be okay.

...On the charges of being party to the crime of second degree intentional homicide and obstruction of justice, we find the defendant... guilty.

Judge mcgarrett: To the jury, we thank you for your service. You are dismissed. We'll reconvene in two hours to proceed with sentencing.

All rise!

Michael: Look, this is not over. We are filing an appeal right away.

Nic it's just the first step in a long fight.

Victoria: We're going to jail.

Michael: Look, jail is not a foregone conclusion. There's a possibility the judge will be lenient during sentencing.

Nikki: If anyone deserves a lenient sentence, it's my daughter.

Michael: We'll have character witnesses speaking on her part and yours.

Nikki: I don't care about myself. I want the focus to be on victoria.

Nick: You can do both.

Victoria: No, mom should be a priority. She'll be facing a harsher sentence than me and sharon.

Nikki: I am prepared for whatever happens.

Summer: [ Tearfully ] I'm sorry, grandma. You really don't deserve this.

Nikki: Oh, honey. It's gonna be all right.

Brittany: I'll file an appeal along with michael'S. We're gonna fix this.

Sharon: Okay.

Brittany: They jury made the wrong call today.

Sharon: Did they? I've just felt guilty for so long [Sniffles] It was almost a relief to hear it out loud like that. "Guilty."

Brittany: [ Sighs ] I understand this is overwhelming. And if you need to take a break right now from the fight, that's okay. I'll fight for both of us.

Mariah: What can I do? Can I go on "gc buzz"? Can I make a public plea for mercy?

Brittany: I'd advise against that. The case is in judge mcgarrett's hands now. Making an appeal to sway public opinion could backfire and make her angry right before she rules on your mother's fate.

Mariah: I am just racking my brain trying to figure out what I can do to make a difference.

Brittany: It's just a waiting game now.

Sharon: Thank you so much, sweetheart. Uh, thank you for being here.

Mariah: There's nowhere else I would rather be. We have been through too much to let this rip us apart. Do you understand?

Sharon: I don't know what i did to ever deserve you. But I love you so much.

Mariah: I love you more.

Come on. Time to go.

Nick: Can't they just stay in the courtroom?

Summer: Yeah, it's not like they're gonna make a break for it.

Michael: They have to go with the bailiff, but it won't be for long.

Nick: I better go call dad and tell him what happened.

Jack: Be strong, ladies.

Abby: We love you.

[ Sighs ]

Jack: I knew this was a possibility. I-I just never believed they would actually be found guilty.

Summer: No, hey, um, michael said that they could still avoid jail time if the judge is lenient.

Jack: Yeah.

Abby: You're not still having your little wedding tomorrow, are you?

Summer: Okay, it may not be a good time for everybody, but for me and kyle, it is, so...

Abby: Your selfishness is mind-boggling.

Summer: You know, grandma wouldn't want me to wait. She would understand.

Abby: She and victoria might be going to prison. We're all worried sick. No one wants to stand there and -- and smile and cheer on your spur-of-the-moment nuptials tomorrow.

Summer: You know, I think I'll be okay if you can't make it. And I disagree. I think that a wedding is perfect for everybody to focus on something happy. Give everybody a break. Like I need right now. I'm gonna go get a coffee. Does anybody want anything?

Jack: No, thank you.

Abby: No. What is wrong with her?! A wedding? Tomorrow?

Jack: I agree, the timing is unfortunate.

Abby: [ Huffs ] Okay, look, she might be a lost cause, but maybe you can talk some sense into kyle. He can't possibly think this is a good idea.

Jack: For what it's worth, he seems every bit as gung ho about this as she is.

Abby: What is wrong with everyone?

[ Scoffs ] Okay, look, I might not be able to do anything for victoria or -- or nikki, but I can do something about this. Don't get your tux out just yet.

Jack: [ Exhales heavily ]

Billy: What the hell kind of defense strategy was that?

Michael: What? It's what we talked about. I argued no body, no crime. I refuted the surveillance video. I portrayed phyllis as an unreliable witness.

Billy: No, phyllis' testimony was devastating. And you called tessa on the stand, it makes them look like career criminals.

Michael: Look -- look, there were a series of twists and turns we had to deal with so, yeah, I had to change our strategy -- more than once.

Billy: Every strategy got worse, michael, every time you did it.

Michael: Look, I did the best I could with what I was getting from my clients, which was continually changing stories and a series of untruths.

Billy: That son of a bitch abused victoria. He almost killed her that night. You couldn't get the jury to understand that?

Michael: Listen --

Nick: Chill out! Chill out.

Billy: He is incompetent. You don't even care, nick.

Nick: You know that's not true. But you acting like this isn't doing you or victoria or the kids any good.

Billy: Oh, you think I care about myself right now?

Nick: I know you care about vick and the kids. And so do I. So we don't need any more noise or distractions. What we need is a plan.

Billy: I'm really not in the mood for a lecture from you right now.

Nick: I'm not gonna give you one. And I certainly understand the way you feel. But you, me, michael, we all want the same thing here, and that is to get these verdicts overturned. That is what we need to focus on.

Billy: I don't know what you and I can do about that right now, nick. Unless, of course, you have a plan.

Nick: If you look at the overall picture of what actually happened to J.T., There is still one major piece of this puzzle missing.

Billy: Which is what?

Nick: This mystery person. The guy who burned down our stables, who placed all the evidence to frame dad, who was hiding in our walls, spying on us, talking to katie.

Billy: We don't know who that is. And nobody's even close to finding out who it is.

Nick: Yes, we do. But we keep dismissing it because it sounds just too crazy. But what if it's not?

Billy: You really believe that it's him?

Nick: That J.T. Is alive? Yes, I do.

Billy: Which means he literally crawled out of the grave.

Nick: [ Sighs ] All right, maybe they didn't bury him as well as they thought. Maybe he had help. I don't know. Let's just forget for one second what it would have taken physically for him to pull this off and just agree that it is possible, because who else has a greater motive to torture our family than J.T.? Look, I can't prove it, obviously, but the more I think about it, it's starting to make sense to me. What if J.T. Is alive and well in genoa city?

Billy: Even if you're right, then what?

Nick: Then let's find him. We combine our resources. We track this son of a bitch down. 'Cause if we do that, those homicide verdicts are gonna get overturned. They go away.

Billy: [ Sighs ] Well, I guess it couldn't hurt.

Nick: So?

Billy: Okay. I'm in.

Kerry: [ Knocks ] Hey. I didn't expect to see you here today. I thought you were going to the courthouse.

Phyllis: Yeah, I was there earlier.

Kerry: What happened? Did the verdict come down?

Phyllis: Yeah. All the women were found guilty.

Kerry: Are you serious? Oh, my gosh.

Phyllis: I thought they were gonna get off. I really did.

Kerry: I know. Jack did, too.

Phyllis: [ Sighs ] I should have done more to help their case.

Kerry: No, you -- you can't hold yourself responsible. I mean, technically, the women were guilty. You going down with them wouldn't have helped anything.

Phyllis: Yeah, well, I feel like dirt.

Kerry: Because you're a good person who's been caught in a bad situation.

Phyllis: Thank you. I really can't talk about this anymore. I came to the office to focus on work, which really needs all of my attention right now.

Kerry: Well, there's plenty of people here to pick up the slack.

Phyllis: Yeah, well, with all the bad publicity that has been thrown at me, I need to prove my value as C.E.O. We got to make sure that jabot just crushes the competition, you know? I need a win. A big one.

Kerry: You have something in mind? How can I help?

Summer: Thanks.

Abby: We need to talk.

Summer: What are you doing? Did you just follow me here?

Abby: You need to cancel your ridiculous wedding.

Summer: Okay. Uh, thank you. But no.

Abby: Why tomorrow? What's the urgency?

Summer: I told you -- kyle and I love each other.

Abby: Oh, cut the crap.

Summer: Okay, our reasons for doing it tomorrow aren't any of your business.

Abby: [ Scoffs ] You see, lola is my friend and future sister-in-law. She's fighting for her life in a hospital bed, and you just fly in on your broom and steal the man that she loves. That makes it my business.

Summer: Okay, you know the history between me and kyle. You've seen us together.

Abby: I've seen kyle and lola together. They're the ones who are in love.

Summer: All right. I'm not gonna talk about this with you anymore.

Abby: No, no. Not yet. Does this have something to do with lola's transplant? Are you the mysterious donor?

Summer: What are you even talking about? That's insane.

Abby: Is it? 'Cause the timing is a little odd. Lola gets a donor. You get a husband. It wouldn't be hard for someone to deduce that those two events might have something to do with each other.

Summer: I barely know lola, and I'm not gonna wish her harm or anything, but whatever happens with her is really none of my concern.

Abby: So you're sticking with the "undying love" story?

Summer: Yes. I love kyle. I've loved him for years. We've always loved each other. Our timing's just been bad, and different things have gotten in the way, but we always come back to each other.

Abby: Just stop. Lola is the love of kyle's life. And when she wakes up, she deserves to have him by her side. I'm not gonna let you ruin that because of some game that you're playing. Ways to lose stubborn belly fat:

"The young and the restless"

will continue.

Phyllis: Jabot has superior marketing, fierce brand loyalty. It goes without saying, our -- our products are the best on the market. Thanks to the work you have done in the lab.

Kerry: Thank you.

Phyllis: But it's not always a clear-cut race to the top. You know, a complicated mix of factors can affect where a company falls in the pack. You know, to get that edge, you have to be aggressive on all fronts.

Kerry: What are we talking about?

Phyllis: If I confide in you, I need you to swear to secrecy.

Kerry: Well, that is a given.

Phyllis: Including with jack.

Kerry: I would never do anything to jeopardize this company.

Phyllis: Okay. Here it is. Jabot's biggest competition right now is ashley's new company.

Kerry: Yeah. She's making a big splash from paris.

Phyllis: I think I have found a way to make that big splash into a tiny plunk -- by keeping her products out of the marketplace.

Kerry: Do tell.

Phyllis: Uh, I'm not ready to give all the details yet, but I'm gonna fill you in once the ball starts rolling.

Kerry: Sounds good. I mean, if you can find a way to neutralize ashley's new company, then you are even more impressive than I thought.

Phyllis: You haven't seen anything yet.

Summer: I am not gonna let you ruin my wedding. And I am not the one playing games here, abby.

Abby: Oh, I can't wait to hear this.

Summer: You act so concerned about lola, but really you're just jealous of me. You've always been jealous of everything that I have. Austin, uh, the job in dubai, and now the wedding.

Abby: That is exactly it. You got me.

Summer: You can act all sophisticated and above it all, but really you're just worried that kyle and I are gonna steal your bridal thunder.

Abby: Oh, summer.

Summer: No, you're gonna deny that you're a bridezilla? Okay, exhibit "a" -- you got engaged at somebody else's vow renewal.

Abby: Oh, I didn't know he was gonna propose.

Summer: And exhibit "b," you felt the need to plaster your engagement photos all over a magazine and every social-media site that there is. I mean, those poor, unsuspecting people. Nobody asked for those photos. Now, talk about desperate and tacky.

Abby: Oh, you want to talk about desperate and tacky? Let's talk about your last-minute dog-and-pony show. Your wedding is a total sham, and I'm gonna figure out what's really going on.

Summer: N-no. If you're gonna bring this hostile energy, then I do not want you at the ceremony tomorrow.

Abby: Oh, I am gonna be there. I am gonna have a front-row seat to that train wreck.

Summer: [ Sighs ]

Mariah: Are you pleased with yourself? Tessa got arrested.

Nick: Yeah, that's what happens when you blackmail people.

Mariah: I told you how worried I was that I was gonna lose both my mom and tessa. And now, thanks to you, that's all happening.

Nick: It's happening because of tessa. Look, mariah, I love you, and I'm so sorry you're going through this. I know it's no fun being in love with someone who is capable of terrible things. My advice? Cut her loose. It'll save you a bunch of heartache in the end.

Mariah: Nick, everyone is fallible, and I believe in second chances.

Nick: Yeah, okay. Let me know how it works out for you.

Mariah: [ Scoffs ]

Judge mcgarrett: Ms. Williams, do you have any recommendation for sentencing in this case?

Christine: I do, your honor. The jury made a clear, strong, definitive statement in their guilty verdict for the three defendants, and in light of that, the people request the maximum possible sentence. This is no time for leniency. The punishment must fit the crime.

Phyllis: How long before we can sell jack of hearts in the stores and online?

Kerry: Uh, production is ramping up as we speak.

Phyllis: Good. Then we can start the marketing blitz right now, get ahead of the launch?

Kerry: Yeah. I'll talk to advertising and P.R.

Phyllis: Good. Perfect.

Kerry: And if there is anything else I can take off your hands, let me know.

Phyllis: Mm-hmm.

Kerry: Are you still on mother-of-the-bride duties tomorrow?

Phyllis: Ah, you heard that the ceremony was moved up.

Kerry: Yeah. I was with jack when he got kyle's message. He's being surprisingly supportive. How are you about it?

Phyllis: Well, you know. Being a mother... what are you gonna do? My daughter's impetuous. You know, the timing might be bad, but, uh, when summer puts her mind to something, she makes it happen. A lot like her mama.

Kerry: Well, I hope you are able to enjoy the day.

Phyllis: [ Chuckles ] No, I will. For summer. But I don't know how enjoyable it's gonna be walking down the aisle with nick.

Kerry: Oh, right. That's awkward.

Phyllis: Which is all the more reason why I pray nikki, victoria, and sharon get light sentences from the judge.

Brittany: Your honor, sharon newman is a woman who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. A bystander who got caught up in events out of her control. Still, she tried to do the right thing, but was coerced into participating in a cover-up by the other defendants. Then she was coerced into confession by a manipulative detective who used their personal relationship to make his case. For these reasons, I ask you for leniency in the sentencing of my client.

Judge mcgarrett: Mr. Baldwin?

Michael: Yes, your honor. Victoria newman is the victim of horrific emotional and physical abuse, and was attacked in her own home by the perpetrator. And when her mother walked in on that attack, nikki newman did what any mother would do. She defended her daughter at all costs. For that, your honor, defense asks for leniency.

Judge mcgarrett: Thank you, counselor.

Michael: We would also like to call several character witnesses to speak on our clients' behalf.

Judge mcgarrett: You may proceed.

Billy: Uh, your honor, um... victoria newman is an extraordinary woman. She's a -- an amazing daughter. She's a whip-smart businesswoman. She's a great friend. But the role that she plays best is -- is definitely mother. We have two small children. They need her to, uh, tuck them in at night, kiss their knees when they skin them. She also has a teenage son who lost his father. And I don't think he could bear losing his mother, too. J.T. Hellstrom tried to take everything from victoria. Her pride, her dignity. And I am convinced that he would have taken her life that night if he had a chance. So I'm asking the court, I'm begging the court, please don't let him take anything else from her. Don't let him rob her of the life that she deserves to live, or take her away from -- from the ones that love her.

Jack: Your honor, I am here to speak for nikki newman. I am sure her husband, victor, would love to be the one speaking for her. I am equally certain he would abhor the idea that I am doing it instead. But on the subject of nikki's character, victor and i are in total agreement. She is an amazing woman. She is the heart and soul, the glue that holds the newman family together. Her son, her daughter, her grandchildren are the greatest joy in her life. As for the rest of us, her -- r kindness, heroughtfulness, her generosity I happen to know this because, more than once, she's been there for me.D surely exacerbate, but I am here because, in my experience, she's one of the best women I know.

Nick: I don't even know how we got here. The three women sitting at this able, I care so much about. It's my mom. My sister. The mother of my children. They're amazing people, and the idea of one of them, let alone all three, going to prison is unbearable. And it would tear our family into a million pieces. We all know they made a mistake. But I know what's in their heart. It's goodness. They have remorse for what they have done. The thought... of taking a man's life will haunt them for the rest of their days. I've already seen the toll it's taken on them. You throwing them in prison is not gonna do anyone any good. It's just gonna create a crater-sized hole in this community, and in many people's hearts. Especially mine. So I ask the court, I beg you, please, show them mercy.

Mariah: Sharon doesn't have a malicious bone in her body. She helps victims of crime. She serves the homeless on thanksgiving. She even...puts spiders in a jar that she catches so she can set them free. I didn't get to spend my early years with my mom, and I was worse for it. When I came into her life, I was [Voice breaking] Broken, and I was damaged, and I did a lot of really, really terrible things to her. And she responded with nothing but kindness. Her love fixed me. So I'm a living testament to the effect that she can have on someone. And even though I missed out on my early years with my mom, there are others who shouldn'T. Faith needs her mom. And when I think about her being robbed of that, it breaks my heart. Sharon does not deserve to go to jail. So I am here to ask you -- to ask the court for compassion, because that is what sharon has shown to others her entire life. Alright, I brought in

Phyllis: I want to thank you for stepping up and pitching in, selling this jack of hearts and everything.

Kerry: Well, we are in this together.

Phyllis: I feel like you have always had my back. You know, your friendship means a lot to me.

Kerry: Yours, too.

Phyllis: Well, it's a little different, because it's kind of hard to be my friend these days.

Kerry: [ Sighs ]

Phyllis: I feel most of the time like I am the town leper. But you have only shown your loyalty and your support to me.

Kerry: You're really making more of it than it --

Phyllis: No, I am not. A true friend is hard to find, and I will not forget it. So [Claps] Come on. Let's get back to work, all right? We're both gonna need to if we're gonna take this company to the top.

Kerry: Yes, ma'am.

Phyllis: All right.

Kerry: We may have just hit the mother lode.

Judge mcgarrett: I have taken both the prosecution and the defense sentencing recommendations into account. The statements made by the family and friends of the defendants were very persuasive. My focus, however, has to be on the facts. Now, I do believe that victoria newman was abused by her fiancé. But that does not excuse the fact that a life was taken. Nor does it excuse the fact that the defendants took the law into their own hands. Now, the defendants may be very kind and caring in their personal life, but in regards to the death of J.T. Hellstrom, they were both callous and arrogant, somehow thinking they could outsmart law enforcement and pay no consequences. Given this, I have no choice but to be strict in my sentencing. Will the defendants please rise? In the case of the people versus sharon newman, you are sentenced to three years in prison. In the case of the people versus victoria newman, you are sentenced to 10 years in prison. In the case of the people versus nicole newman, you are sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Nick: Oh, god!
