Episode # 10638 ~ Victoria talks to Billy about Stitch; Adam gets Chelsea to open up to him; shocking events take place at the Abbott cabin.

Nick: What are you doing here?

Sage: What? What are you doing here? You're supposed to be at Noah's wedding.

Nick: It got postponed.

Sage: Oh.

Nick: What's behind your back?

Sage: Nothing. It's a surprise.

Nick: It still is.

Sage: It's not done being assembled, but...oh, well. Welcome to the new and improved underground!

Nick: Wow! Look at this thing! It's so much better than the one we used to have.

Sage: Yeah, and that one's probably in a thousand pieces by now.

Nick: Maybe more. I mean, this is -- this is great.

Sage: Ohh.

Nick: You shouldn't have. I mean...

Sage: Why?

Nick: After the way I treated you the other day --

Sage: No. No. We don't have to talk about that anymore. You already apologized.

Nick: It's important to me that you know that it wasn't about you.

Sage: I do. And we don't have to talk about it anymore, unless you want to. But I want to hear about Noah. What happened?

Nick: I guess Courtney got called in to work.

Sage: What?!

Nick: Yeah. GCPD waits for no man... or woman.

Sage: On her wedding day? That -- that must have been a really important case.

Nick: Yeah, I guess, maybe, unless...

Sage: What?

Nick: Well, I didn't say this to Noah, but maybe Courtney got cold feet.

Sage: Well, the way you talk about them, it seems like they're crazy about each other.

Nick: They really do seem like the perfect couple.

Sage: I'm very surprised to hear you say that.

Nick: Well, despite my track record, I would like to believe that two people can have a happy ending.

Sage: I never believed before. But you never know.

Mariah: But wait. That doesn't make any sense. Why would Courtney blow off her wedding to ask you to come to meet her at the cabin?

Noah: She didn't say anything to you, did she -- something about wanting to talk to me in private?

Summer: No. Why would she want to talk to you in private?

Kyle: You're thinking she's had second thoughts about marrying you?

Summer: No. No, no, no. Courtney could not wait to be your wife. I promise you.

Noah: I mean, maybe I rushed it, you know?

Stitch: You only just got engaged yesterday, right?

Mariah: She had a whole 24 hours. What more could she want?

Abby: Maybe she decided that she wanted a big wedding. I know that's what I would want.

Mariah: You would.

Kevin: But why meet at the Abbott cabin? It doesn't seem like the ideal place to discuss your future.

[Cell phone chimes]

Mariah: It's from Courtney.

[Cell phones chiming]

Summer: Okay. What's going on?

Abby: Why would Courtney want us all at the cabin?

Mariah: Well, I can tell you one thing -- it's not to talk about wedding jitters.

Noah: No. She must have found something out about Austin.

Kevin: While she was having her hair and nails done?

Noah: No. She had to go to the police station. She said she had to pick something up.

Stitch: No one at the station knew Austin was murdered.

Kevin: The computer. She must have gotten into it. Courtney wanted to see the surveillance footage from the park.

Kyle: So, maybe she's close to figuring out who the killer is, then.

Summer: Or she already knows.

Avery: Am I right? Has Sharon done something that's gonna get her in trouble with the law?

Dylan: I told you I can't talk about it.

Avery: Why -- because you might have to take the stand in her defense and you don't want to jeopardize that?

Dylan: Please, please. Just don't push it, okay?

Avery: I am concerned about you and what you are getting mixed up in.

Dylan: There's nothing for you to worry about.

Avery: Well, too late, because I already am.

Dylan: Well, I'm sorry. I-I can't do anything about that.

Avery: Of course, you can! You could confide in me, but instead, you'd rather protect Sharon!

Dylan: Avery, the less you know, the better.

Avery: That sort of justification is a very slippery slope, Dylan, and we both know where that leads.

Victoria: Sorry. I came by a little early.

Chelsea: Okay. Um, early for what?

Victoria: Billy didn't tell you that we were stopping by?

Chelsea: Uh, no. No, he didn't.

Victoria: Oh. Gosh. Well, it must have just slipped his mind.

Chelsea: Yeah. He's usually so good about letting me know what you two are up to.

Victoria: Yeah, usually, but not always.

Billy: Hey, Chelsea, I'm going to meet Victoria and the kids at the...park.

Chelsea: Oh. Well, there you go. Simple explanation. I guess your wires were crossed.

Billy: Hey, buddy! You ready to hit the swings?

Victoria: Yeah. He's been ready since this morning.

Billy: I'm sure he has. Oh, there's my princess. Look at you, all bundled up nice and warm. You have a good mommy, taking care of you like that.

Chelsea: Well, have a great time.

Billy: Yeah. I'm sure we will. Won't we? So, first one to the car gets -- you got it?

Victoria: Got it.

Billy: Hey, first one to the car gets cotton candy. You ready? Go! [Chuckles] Here you go. Here you go. Ready?

Adam: Ah, cotton candy -- all kinds of things. It's one big, happy family, isn't it? I don't know how you do it.

Avery: You can't let Sharon ll you in, Dylan. You've seen what she's done to Nick and to Summer and Jack. I don't want you to be the next victim.

Dylan: I won't be.

Avery: You casa that all you want, but it doesn't make it true.

Dylan: Same goes for you and Joe.

Avery: Oh, come on. You cannot compare Joe and Sharon.

Dylan: Oh, yeah. You're right that guy is in a class by himself. He was willing to shut down e entire warehouse district, affecting hundreds of lives, just to mess with my head and get you back in bed.

Avery: And you see how that worked out.

Dylan: He just got smarter about it. He came with for a reason for you guys to work together.

Avery: I am helping him with a charity.

Dylan: Yeah, and I'm helping somebody who has no support network, somebody who's suffering in ways most people can't even imagine.

Avery: Most people, except for you?

Dylan: Yeah, because I know what it's like, not being able to think straight, not being able to control your actions.

Avery: Dylan, you accepted responsibility for what you did. You didn't use it as an excuse to go out there and inflict more pain on people. And if you're really honest with yourself, you'll take a good, hard look at Sharon and you will get the hell away from her!

[Cell phone rings]

Avery: [Sighs] I have to take this. Avery bailey Clark. No. Don't say a word. I'll be right there. [Sighs] It's a client of mine who just got arrested.

Dylan: You do what you got to do.

Avery: Please tell me that I got through to you first.

Dylan: You're just gonna have to trust me.

Avery: The way that you trust me?

[Door slams]

Chelsea: Let's get something straight -- I think it's wonderful that Billy and Victoria are united for the sake of their children.

Adam: I know that you do. That's what I meant when I said, "I don't know how you do it." I'm in awe of you -- how you can be so selfless with this whole thing. It's incredible.

Chelsea: Well, I mean, I would never ask Billy to put me ahead of Johnny and Katie, you know?

Adam: No, of course. You can't do that.

Chelsea: No, you can't do that.

Adam: Still, though, I mean, you're standing there with a smile on your face -- right? -- While your fiancé goes off with his ex-wife and the kids. They're gonna spend some probably incredible day together doing -- weren't they going to the park, I overheard? It's a special kind of person to handle it that way. I got to tell you, honestly, I don't know if I could handle it that well if I was in your position, because my mind just tends to -- well, it races. It goes to different places. You know what I mean? Like, I know what that kind of togetherness can lead to. Next thing you know -- I just -- it's not even really something I want to talk about.

Chelsea: Well, you know what? That's the difference between you and me, see, because I just -- I don't let my mind go there.

Adam: You have amazing willpower.

Chelsea: To be honest, it's just kind of what you have to do. You know, when you have a blended family, you figure out a way to make it work, kind of like you have figured out a way to make things work with Sage.

Adam: Yeah. Yeah, right.

Chelsea: I thought the two of you had gotten closer lately.

Adam: Yeah, um, I-I sort of thought we were, too, but, uh... of course, that was before I found out she's sleeping with Nick Newman.

Nick: What ever happened with your divorce? Did you talk to Gabe about it?

Sage: I certainly did, and it was -- as we figured, he was dead set against it.

Nick: Well, that's his problem.

Sage: Not entirely.

Nick: Age...

Sage: I've known Gabe since I was a kid, and he's not the man that he once was, but I can't forget how much he meant to me. He and Constance were the only family I had. It was the least I could do to marry him so he could get his inheritance.

Nick: Gratitude only goes so far. Is it worth throwing your life away?

Sage: Well, it wasn't much of a life then.

Nick: How 'bout now?

Noah: We're here, court!

Mariah: Hello!

Noah: Courtney?!

Kevin: Hey, you back here?! Hello?!

Mariah: Isn't that her car out front?

Noah: Yeah.

Summer: What's going on?

Kevin: It's empty.

Stitch: Hey, try calling her.

Noah: I did the whole way up here. I just got her voicemail.

Abby: Well, the reception's pretty sketchy in this area.

Kyle: Yeah. Maybe she went out to get a signal. There's a cell tower about a quarter mile away.

Noah: Yeah. Yeah. I know where it is. I'll go check --

Stitch: Hey. You're not going anywhere.

Noah: Excuse me?

Stitch: It's too dangerous.

Noah: I'll take my chances. Thank you.

Stitch: You're the one who told me the last time you were up here, someone was watching you, right?

Noah: That's right -- all the more reason to go out and find Courtney!

Stitch: So, what -- do you want to end up like Abby, knocked unconscious or, God forbid, something worse?

Summer: Okay. We can't just sit here and do nothing.

Noah: Something's wrong, okay? There's no way that Courtney would text us all and then not be here.

Kyle: Actually, she didn't text all of us.

Kevin: That's true. Stitch didn't get a text.

Mariah: And he was one of the stars of Austin's tell-all movie.

Abby: Meaning what?

Kyle: He's still a suspect in Austin's murder.

Stitch: We all are -- everyone in this room. Maybe that's why someone called us all here.

Billy: Have fun, buddy. We'll be watching you.

Victoria: Share with the other kids.

Billy: [Chuckles] Fat chance of that.

Victoria: Yeah. I don't think I was very good at sharing when I was that age. Come to think of it, I'm still not.

Billy: Hmm. Well, who is?

Victoria: I'm sorry about earlier.

Billy: Sorry for what?

Victoria: You know, the mix-up, showing up at your place. I just don't think that Chelsea was very happy with me.

Billy: No, no. I think she was just, you know, caught by surprise.

Victoria: You know it's more than that.

Billy: Okay. I mean, is it easy for her to see you and the kids in her face, watching the family dynamic, knowing that I'm gonna be choosing you guys first? I mean, no, it's not. But it's part of the package. If she wants me, she gets that, too.

Victoria: You gonna be writing wedding vows -- forsaking all others, keeping yourself only to her, unless it's your ex and kids? It's a lot to ask.

Billy: It's an adjustment, yeah, but, you know, what's really helped is that Chelsea and I have decided to make the wedding date open-ended, so...

Victoria: Takes the pressure off, huh?

Billy: Yeah. You have no idea what a relief it was, I mean... for me and for her -- both of us. We're -- we're in a good place now, so...

Victoria: Good.

Billy: Yeah.

Victoria: I'm glad to hear that. Johnny, be nice!

Billy: So, uh, what about you?

Victoria: What about me?

Billy: How are you and stitch doing?

Victoria: Oh. Good. Yeah. We're in a really good place.

Billy: So, you told him, then, about how we nearly kissed? Oh. You didn't tell him.

Victoria: No.

Billy: Why not?

Noah: What does it matter if all the suspects in Austin's murder are here? It doesn't explain what Courtney --

Kyle: Fen's a suspect, and he's not here.

Summer: Neither is Sharon.

Mariah: And you had to go there.

Summer: Sharon had the most to gain from Austin's death. She's the one that tried to steal Austin's laptop so my dad wouldn't find out what she said in the interview!

Mariah: And she explained all that!

Summer: Okay. Well, what happened if Courtney found something that Sharon couldn't explain, like proof that she's behind all of this?

Mariah: And what if she didn't? We don't know if Courtney found anything!

Abby: That's true. Courtney's message just said to meet her up here.

Stitch: If that was Courtney's message.

Abby: Oh, my God.

Kevin: Okay. Okay. Let's not jump to conclusions, all right?

Abby: Okay. How can we not? There's only one other person that would want to lure us all up here.

Summer: The same person that's been threatening us, who was willing to kill Austin for whatever was on that video.

Noah: Guys, we need to call the police.

[Banging on door]

Dylan: Sharon! Sharon?! [Sighs]

[Telephone rings]

Sharon: Hi. It's Sharon. Leave a message, and I'll get back to you.

Rob: Hey, Sharon. It's rob over at the body shop. I'll get out there and do an estimate A.S.A.P. Since you said you were in a hurry. What the heck were you doing driving that nice car up in the woods, anyway?

Nick: Oh, she's going for the shirt. What's, uh -- what's the rush?

Sage: Well, someone might walk in -- again.

Nick: Yeah, well, I'm willing to risk it if you are.

Sage: It's -- it's dangerous.

Nick: The danger's half the fun.

Sage: You're sleeping with a married woman. Sharon could use that against you and force you to make concessions in your agreement with faith.

Nick: I've already made concessions.

Sage: You have?

Nick: Yeah. It was the best thing to do.

Sage: Hmm. I know faith really misses her mommy.

Nick: Well, she's gonna get to see her a lot more now. And that will give us time to, you know, build this relationship.

Sage: Is that what you think this is, is a r-relationship?

Nick: I'd like it to be. Yeah, and at some point, I wouldn't mind getting you out of this dusty storage room.

Sage: It's not so bad.

Nick: Unless, of course, you know, you don't want that.

Sage: I do.

Nick: Then what's wrong? Are you worried about that guy -- the executor of Constance's will?

Sage: Mm. Tipton.

Nick: Right. Tipton. You think he'll figure out that you and Gabe are married in name only? I mean, it is name only, right? You're not holding out hope for the two of you?

Sage: Oh, no, no. We have no future together. We have an agreement. I come and go as I please. I don't have to explain myself to Gabe anymore.

Nick: Then what's holding you back? Is it the fact that you exchanged vows? 'Cause I get the feeling you're not the kind of person that makes promises lightly.

Sage: I just don't like living a lie.

Nick: Then don't.

Adam: I guess I should have figured it'd happen eventually, right?

Chelsea: That your best friend from boarding school would have an affair with your wife?!

Adam: Well, boarding school was a long time ago, and although Sage is technically my wife, she's not in all the ways that count.

Chelsea: So what? She knew you wanted more.

Adam: Yeah, she did, but that doesn't mean she can give it to me -- not if her heart's not in it.

Chelsea: [Sighs] I'm -- I am so sorry, Gabe.

Adam: Thank you. But, uh, I'll survive, you know? I'll survive.

Chelsea: Survive? That's no way to live. Our time here is so limited. You have to embrace every minute.

Adam: And for me, that was always fast cars and parties. You know, there was a time in my life where the most important thing to me was seeing how much fun I could have.

Chelsea: What about...love?

Adam: Uh...what about love? Uh [Chuckles] Hmm. Well, I guess I didn't always have the best role models with parents, you know? The most affection I ever saw them show one another was when they agreed to live separate lives. So, as far as romance goes, I always sort of thought that was something for other people. Turns out I was right.

Chelsea: Don't do that. Just because things didn't work out with Sage doesn't mean there isn't someone else out there for you.

Adam: I wish I could believe that.

Avery: Excuse me. I'm supposed to be meeting a client here. What's going on?

Well, the computers contracted some kind of virus -- all of them.

Avery: What, the whole system?

We can't get to it. It might be lost for good. I mean, warrants, reports, surveillance footage -- all gone!

Dylan: [Sighs]

[Door opens]

Sharon: [Gasps] Oh! Dylan! You scared the hell out of me!

Dylan: I'm sorry. I used the spare key -- the one under the fake rock.

Sharon: Oh, my gosh. You were careful, weren't you? I don't want anybody to find out where I keep that.

Dylan: Don't worry. Nobody's watching.

Sharon: Yeah, but you never know.

Dylan: You know what? You're right. You should move the key. And I won't let myself in again.

Sharon: Why did you?

Dylan: Well, I came to check on you, and nobody answered, so I got a little worried -- and I was worried after you showed up at Avery's.

Sharon: How did she take that? I'm sure she had some questions about why I wanted to see you alone.

Dylan: Yeah. I didn't -- I didn't tell her anything, other than you were having some problems and that you're a friend.

Sharon: Thank you.

Dylan: How was the wedding?

Sharon: What?

Dylan: Your son's wedding -- you know, where you told me you had to go when you left Avery's so quickly.

Victoria: Johnny actually shared his pail with that little girl.

Billy: You got to be proud -- charming the ladies already.

Victoria: Well, he is his father's son.

Billy: [Chuckles] You know... you never answered my question. I mean, how come you never told stitch about what happened?

Victoria: What do you mean -- our near kiss? I mean, what was I supposed to y to him -- "Billy and I looked at each other"?

Billy: It was more than that, and you know it.

Victoria: I didn't mention it because Ben hasn't been staying at home.

Billy: What do you mean, he hasn't been staying at home?

Victoria: He's not staying there.

Billy: Oh. So, trouble in paradise?

Victoria: No, no, no, no. No, not at all.

Billy: And yet you're taking a little break from each other?

Victoria: Just because of Abby.

Billy: Abby?

Victoria: Yeah. Um...after she moved in with us, Ben had reason to believe that she was being watched.

Billy: By who?

Victoria: By the person who attacked her.

Billy: So, w-wait. Are you telling me that the guy who was stalking her was doing this while she's living in the house with our kids?

Victoria: That's why Ben wanted to get her out of there.

Billy: What did the police say?

Victoria: Ben didn't contact the police.

Billy: What do you mean, he didn't --

Victoria: Because he had no evidence to show them, so, instead, he increased the security in the neighborhood, and we got Abby a room at the club, and he's staying there to protect her.

Billy: In the same room?

Victoria: Next-door. It was my idea.

Billy: O-okay, as long as you're all right with it.

Victoria: I am more than all right with me, trust me.

Billy: Hmm. Really?

Victoria: No, no. That came out the wrong way. I'm just -- I'm grateful to have the space, that's all. It's not that Ben and I are having any problems, because we're not. It just...

Billy: Takes the pressure off.

Victoria: [Sighs] Yeah. I mean, especially since Kelly -- since she died. I even suggested that Abby go with Ben to collect her ashes because I really didn't think that he wanted me to be there.

Billy: Why not?

Victoria: I just said all the wrong things to him. I didn't mean to. Kelly and I just had so much history between us.

Billy: Thanks mostly to yours truly.

Victoria: It doesn't matter why it happened. Ben needed support and comfort, and I wasn't there for him, which makes me a pretty poor partner.

Billy: Or, Vick, maybe you're just not the right partner. All I'm saying is it seems like you're trying awfully hard to make this work when it... doesn't.

Adam: Don't mind me. I'm just feeling sorry for myself, obviously.

Chelsea: No, no. It's totally understandable. I had the same feelings after Adam died. You know, growing up, I was always ferociously independent, even as a kid. I was almost, like, proud of the fact that I didn't need anybody, you know? And then I met Adam, and do you know what I realized?

Adam: What?

Chelsea: I'd been starving all my life.

Adam: So, that's what you think I'm doing? You think I'm starving?

Chelsea: Well, if you haven't loved someone like that or been loved like that in return, then yeah.

Adam: Well, sadly, I've only had the pleasure of the unrequited type, so I don't know if I'd recognize the real thing.

Chelsea: Oh, you would know. You would recognize it.

Adam: Yeah?

Chelsea: Yeah. It's like -- it's like in the cartoons, you know, when the guy gets hit in the head with the anvil and then all he sees is stars.

Adam: Right. Right. So, Adam is what -- he's wile E. Coyote, then?

Chelsea: Oh, yes. You have no idea. [Laughs] He was the most insufferable, infuriating, crazy man I'd ever met in my entire life.

Adam: Yeah?

Chelsea: And he was also the funniest and the sweetest, and he was unbelievably sexy to the point where I couldn't keep my hands off him. Too much information?

Adam: No! No. No. It's beautiful, actually. It really is beautiful, knowing what a marriage can be.

Chelsea: I mean, it's a lot of work...

Adam: Mm-hmm.

Chelsea: ...And a lot of compromise and sometimes disappointment.

Adam: It's got me wondering -- once you experience a love like that... I don't know why you'd settle for anything less. Thanks.

Chelsea: Bye.

Kyle: We need to think long and hard about this.

Noah: No, we don't. There's no time. Courtney is missing.

Summer: We need to go to the police.

Mariah: And risk the killer retaliating?

Summer: You just want to keep Sharon from being implicated.

Mariah: I just want to stay alive, Summer.

Stitch: Then we need to take control -- stop letting whoever this is pull the strings.

Mariah: Fine! Let's go to the cops. I'm sure they're gonna be very interested in you, considering your performance on Austin's video.

Abby: You're not helping, Mariah.

Noah: None of this is helping!

Kevin: Everybody, take a deep breath, all right? We need to work together on this.

Noah: You work together. I'm gonna find my fiancée. Come on.

[Cell phone ringing]

[Ringing continues]

Avery: Hello?

Noah: C-Courtney? Oh, thank God. Wh-where -- where have you --

Avery: No, no. I'm sorry. This is Avery bailey Clark.

Noah: Avery? This is Noah Newman. What are you doing with Courtney's phone?

Avery: This is Courtney's? I just picked this phone up out of the trash can.

Noah: Trash can? What? Avery, where are you right now?

Avery: The squad room at the GCPD.

Abby: [Screams]

Avery: Noah! Noah! What's wrong?! Noah! Hello?!

Abby: [Screams]

Noah: Abby? Abby.

Abby: [Crying]

Summer: What is it?

Kevin: Another message?

Kyle: Careful.

Stitch: Get her on the ground -- quick.

Abby: Is she still breathing?

Summer: Courtney.

Noah: Courtney. Move! [Crying] Baby, baby, come on.

Stitch: Let me try.

Noah: No! I have to help her!

Stitch: Let me try!

Kevin: He's a doctor!

Stitch: Let me try!

Noah: [Crying] What are you doing?! Why are you stopping?! Come on!

Stitch: She's ice-cold, Noah. She's been gone for a while.

Summer: [Crying]

Noah: No! No! God, please! Come here. Baby, open your eyes for me, okay? Please, baby? Please be okay! Come on, baby!

Abby: [Crying] I'm so sorry.

Noah: Don't go! No!

[Crying continues]

Mariah: [Crying] This is a police emergency.

Noah: [Crying continues] Come on.

Adam: Yeah, a dozen red roses. Uh, the card? Um...tell you what -- how about "why would you settle for anything less?" How about that? And leave it blank. Yeah. Right away. Thank you.

Nick: Maybe you ought to change that to "I'm a hypocritical ass," or are you gonna try and convince me that those flowers are for your wife? I didn't think so. You know, you're a real piece of work. You come down on me for hooking up with Sage while you're chasing after another woman.

Adam: You wouldn't know anything about it.

Nick: Yeah? Well, I know you don't give a damn about that marriage. All you care about's the inheritance, and you'll do anything you can to get your hands on it, including taking everyone else's chances for happiness.

Adam: Nick, I'm not pointing a gun at Sage's head, demanding that she stay with me.

Nick: Yeah, well, you control her in other ways. You play on her devotion to Constance. You make her feel guilty about wanting a life of her own. Well, I got news for you. That's over. You don't control her anymore.

Sage: [Humming]

Chelsea: You're disgusting.

Sage: Excuse me?

Chelsea: You could at least try to hide it if you're gonna go sneak around.

Sage: What are you talking about?

Chelsea: That smile you just walked in with -- I have a feeling Gabriel didn't put it there.

Sage: Where are you getting this?

Chelsea: Where do you think? You know, it's bad enough to go, you know, sneaking around behind your husband's back, but to do it with his best friend from boarding school?

Sage: Is that what Gabe told you?

Chelsea: Are you denying it?

Sage: I guess there'd be no point in doing that, would there?

Chelsea: Well, not really, considering you already threw it in his face. I mean, do you just not have any compassion for that man whatsoever?

Sage: Of course I do.

Chelsea: Well, some way of showing it! So, what is it all about? Are you just trying to, like, nail down your next meal ticket, or...?

Sage: That is not what Nick is, Chelsea.

Chelsea: Right, 'cause that's not what Gabe is, either?

Sage: Gabe is well aware there was no love match when he married me.

Chelsea: No, maybe not initially, but then things changed. He has opened up his heart to you. He has put everything on the line for you because he actually loves you.

Sage: You have no clue what you're talking about.

Chelsea: I have no clue?! Why do you think Gabriel has been coming to me for help? Why do you think he spends time with my son? Why do you think he got wasted at my engagement party and made a fool out of himself? It's because he is a good man and his heart is breaking right now.

Sage: Gabe this, Gabe that. You have no idea who the real Gabriel Bingham is!

Sharon: It's not like I'm trying to keep anything from you, but Courtney didn't show up to the wedding.

Dylan: What? Why not?

Sharon: It was something to do with her job.

Dylan: The GCPD couldn't give her the day off for her wedding?

Sharon: No, apparently not.

Dylan: That's horrible.

Sharon: Yeah.

Dylan: How did Noah take it?

Sharon: He was pretty disappointed, as you can imagine. But I'm sure that he and Courtney will be able to have their ceremony soon. [Sighs] Looks like I have a message. Did you happen to hear who this us?

[Cell phone rings]

Dylan: Uh, hold on. Excuse me. What's up?

Avery: Where are you?

Dylan: I'm with Sharon.

Avery: I thought you'd say that.

Dylan: I don't have time to get into this again, Avery. Look, I got to go.

Avery: No! Wait.

Dylan: No. We'll talk later.

Avery: Her son's fiancée was found dead!

Billy: It's just when you put that much effort into something and you don't get the returns that you want, then...

Victoria: Oh, hold on. That's not what I'm saying. Ben and I -- we have something really special, you know? We make each other happy.

Billy: Except when you don't.

Victoria: It's just a temporary rough patch. All relationships have them.

Billy: Okay. All right. So, what did he say when you suggested that he go camp out at the club with Abby? I mean, did he put much of a fight?

Victoria: Why would he?

Billy: Well, I mean, a guy could take that the wrong way -- think that you're giving up on him.

Victoria: But I'm not -- not in the least. And Ben knows that.

Billy: Does he?

Victoria: Yes, absolutely. It's all about protecting Abby.

Billy: Oh. Well [Chuckles] All right. Fine. But you could have easily hired a security team to protect Abby. You didn't need to send your boyfriend.

Victoria: Okay. This is my sister that we're talking about here. If she's in danger, I want someone that I can trust to guard her 24/7, and she has that, with my blessing.

Billy: All right. Then I guess everybody wins.

Sage: Wake up, Chelsea. You've been had. The con woman has been outconned.

Chelsea: What are you talking about?

Sage: Gave has been playing you this whole time, pretending to be this victim.

Chelsea: He is a victim.

Sage: It's an act, a calculated performance, for one reason -- to get you to fall in love with him.

Chelsea: [Laughs] That's insane.

Sage: Okay. Your first chance meeting? There was nothing chance about that.

Chelsea: We were -- we were at the athletic club and we caught eyes.

Sage: He was watching you.

Chelsea: You don't know that.

Sage: How do you think you two ended up side by side at Jabot? Was that just a coincidence? Was it also just a coincidence we just happened to move right across the hall from you?

Chelsea: It -- it happens.

Sage: He made it happen, just like he made his car break down out in the middle of nowhere so he could be alone with you. He ran out of gas -- you actually bought that?

Chelsea: I-I had no reason not to believe that.

Sage: Wasn't there a single moment that you thought, "this is all a little convenient"? What about the repairs in my apartment? Don't you think it's strange it's taking so long when everyone else in the building's moved in? I'll tell you why -- because Gabe bribed the contractor to take his time and slow down so we can continue living under the same roof as you. He's been working you, Chelsea, just like he worked you today.

Nick: What the hell happened to you? When did you become the center of the world? The Gabe I knew was never a selfish ass.

Adam: Selfish a-- okay, 'cause you're so perfect, right? This coming from the man that cheats on his wife after his kid dies?

Nick: You better watch your mouth.

Adam: Then you leave -- then you leave the new wife, right, and you go back to the original wife? But even then, you weren't satisfied. Let me ask you a question -- when is enough enough, huh? You think you can just get away with everything whenever you want -- you and your self-righteous father?

Nick: When did he get into this?

Adam: All you Newmans are the same, aren't you? I mean, generation to generation, you just pass blame on everyone else, never taking accountability for anything that you do, right? Never paying! Well, I'm gonna make sure you do pay.

Noah: [Crying]

Summer: You're so cold. Do you want your jacket?

Noah: Mnh-mnh.

Mariah: The police should be here soon.

Kevin: Not soon enough.

Abby: Here.

Stitch: Thanks.

Summer: Noah, why don't we go sit on the couch?

Noah: I'm not leaving her.

Stitch: Hey. It's okay. You don't have to move. I'm just -- I'm just -- I'm gonna cover her up, okay?

Kevin: Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Hold on. There's something in her hand.

Mariah: [Gasps]

Kyle: What's it say?

Dylan: How?

Avery: How did it happen?

Dylan: Yeah, and how do you know?

Avery: I'm at the police station. I was finishing up with a client when the 911 call came in that there was a murder at the Abbott cabin. Dylan?

Dylan: I heard you.

Avery: I don't know any more than that, other than the victim is Courtney Sloane.

Dylan: Thanks.

Avery: "Thanks"? That's your reaction? Sharon needs to know about this.

Dylan: I'll talk to you later.

Sharon: You have the strangest look on your face. Did something happen?

Dylan: Where were you earlier?

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Chelsea: Why don't you just say what it is you're dying to say?!

Sage: Fine! I will say it! But do not say I did not warn you!

Nick: Who are you? You're not the Gabe Bingham I used to know.

Stitch: They wanted us to find her.

Mariah: Oh, my God. They're trying to pin this on us!
