Episode # 10634 ~ Chelsea tells "Gabriel" that Billy is over Victoria; Noah makes a major decision; Nikki snoops into Victor's secret plan.

Sharon: Oh. Didn't you get any sleep?
Dylan: [Chuckles] What kind of guard would I be if I'd done that?
Sharon: A well-rested one?
Dylan: Yeah, I'm used to pulling all nighters for watch duty. Fortunately, things were quiet.
Sharon: Thank you again for staying. It was really unsettling for me to think someone could get past security, break into my house, leave a message that's threatening on my mirror.
Dylan: Well, I hope you were able to get some sleep.
Sharon: Actually, I slept the best that I have since...
Dylan: Since when?
Summer: I'm fine. I'm not gonna let what your mom said get to me.
Summer: But, you know, it is possible that she could have made up that whole story about dad and sandy what's-her-name.
Noah: Possibly. Unlikely.
Summer: It's much more likely than dad nearly killing a girl and then trying to cover it up.
Noah: Look, I can't imagine dad doing something like this, either, okay? But...mom was just so specific on the facts. When the party took place, dad getting sandy drunk, daring her to dive off the balcony.
Summer: Do I need to remind you all the times that Sharon's lied for her own selfish reasons?
Noah: No, you don't. My mom is not perfect. And neither is dad, as much as I hate to admit it. But I believe that my mom is telling the truth, Summer, and I think -- I think you do, too.
Summer: [Sighs] You know, I just -- I need to talk to dad.
Noah: Summer, you can't.
Summer: Why not?
Noah: Because if dad finds out about the documentary footage, he's gonna know we've been covering this whole thing up, and we can't risk that.
Summer: I hate this. Thinking the worst of dad.
Noah: Yeah, I do, too. I mean, no matter how old we get, I -- it sucks hearing that he's less than perfect.
Nick: I need to ask you a question, dad. I need you to tell me the truth.
Victor: All right. Truth about what?
Nick: Remember a party I held here at the ranch my senior year of high school?
Victor: Party? Son, you had many parties.
Nick: Yeah, well, this was a big one. Things got out of hand. Mom was out of town. I guess the security guys called you out to the ranch. When you showed up, I was passed out and there was a girl from my school who was injured.
Victor: So...what's the point?
Nick: I want to know what you did that night.
Victoria: Good morning.
Billy: Hey. Victoria, Nikki, nice to see you both.
Nikki: You too.
Victoria: Are you celebrating?
Billy: Oh, just having breakfast.
Victoria: Well, congratulations, by the way. I heard about your engagement. I'm very happy for both of you.
Chelsea: Thank you.
Billy: Yeah, thanks, Vick.
Victoria: So, we won't intrude on your breakfast.
Nikki: Good to see you.
Nikki: Well, that was very gracious of you. I know it couldn't have been easy.
Victoria: Billy and I are in a good place.
Nikki: It really doesn't bother you that he's going to be marrying Chelsea?
Victoria: Mom, I'm happy for him. Billy being in a solid relationship is good for him and the kids -- everyone. What?
Chelsea: That was nice of Victoria to wish us well.
Billy: Yeah. Yeah.
Chelsea: Maybe we should have told her we decided to put the wedding on hold.
Billy: Well, she'd still be happy for us. Unlike your permanent shadow, Bingham, who practically danced a jig when he found out we were waiting.
Chelsea: I thought you weren't gonna let Gabe get to you.
Billy: No, he doesn't. Not in the slightest. What? [Sighs]
Adam: What are you doing here?
Sage: Oh, nice to see you, too. Look, I just got a call from our old pal Tipton and he wants to know when we're moving back into our apartment. Apparently the other residents have already moved into their units.
Adam: Really? What'd you tell them?
Sage: Do you mean did I tell them that you bribed the contractor to slow down repairs to our penthouse so you and Chelsea could keep living under the same roof?
Sage: No, I didn't tell him that, and you're lucky --
Adam: Come here. Shh! Keep your voice down.
Sage: Okay, don't shush me. I'm not four. Mr. Tipton's not gonna let this go, Gabe.
Adam: Okay, well, you know what? I'll worry about him later. I'm concerned with something much more important right now.
Sage: Oh, another opportunity to get closer to Chelsea?
Adam: No, actually, this just sort of fell right into my lap, but, uh, using it to my advantage would be a bonus.
Chelsea: You're okay with us not rushing to the altar, right?
Billy: Yeah, yeah. I'm good. You?
Chelsea: Would I have suggested this romantic breakfast celebrating our decision if I wasn't?
Billy: Well, in that case, to us and to waiting.
Chelsea: To waiting.
[Cell phone rings]
Billy: Of course. What do you want, Gabe?
Adam: Billy, is Chelsea there with you?
Adam: There's an emergency here at Jabot. Just get over here whenever you can, thanks.
Billy: Okay, but what -- jackass.
Chelsea: What'd he say?
Billy: That we need to get to Jabot right away.
Chelsea: Did he say why?
Billy: No, he didn't. I'm sure that it's nothing, but I guess I should get down there anyway, just in case there really is a problem.
Chelsea: So much for our romantic breakfast.
Billy: And I think that is the point.
Nikki: Good. Now you won't be distracted.
Victoria: I wasn't distracted. Okay. Maybe their engagement bothers me more than I admitted.
Nikki: Honey, you have every reason to be upset. What you and Billy had was --
Victoria: And I need to move on, and I can start by not making him a topic of conversation when I'm trying to have breakfast with my mother. I'd much rather talk about you.
Nikki: Oh. Not much to say there.
Victoria: Well, how about the fact that the charges against you in Christine's accident have been dropped. That must be a huge relief.
Nikki: Is that your subtle way of asking me if I've been drinking?
Victoria: Well, since you brought it up.
Nikki: I am clean and sober. Not to say that I haven't been tempted, but I've been going to meetings, I have a new sponsor, and I am trying very hard not to let your father's shenanigans get to me.
Victoria: Did you hear about his attempt to buy Jabot?
Nikki: Oh, yes.
Victoria: Did you also hear that Jack turned him down?
Nikki: I have heard this so many times I cannot even count. Your father's not gonna give up until he gets what he wants. What worries me, as usual, is how far he will go to get it.
Nick: You always taught me to step up, own my mistakes. Then you go and do something like this.
Victor: Something like what?
Nick: You're gonna deny culpability till the end. Well, I can't do that.
Victor: You can't do what?
Nick: Deny that I'm responsible for what happened to Sandra Allen that night.
Victor: Wait a minute. That's the girl who had that diving accident, right?
Nick: An accident?! Dad, an accident is when you slip and fall. This girl -- I got drunk and I dared her to dive off our balcony, into our swimming pool. It was a dumb move on my part, one that put her in the hospital for a year. It cost her a chance at a college scholarship. Her Olympic dreams were gone. I changed this girl's life forever that night.
Victor: Son, why are you talking to me like this? Huh? That girl said that she had made that decision on her own to take that dive.
Nick: I always wondered why she never told everyone it was my fault.
Victor: Because it wasn't!
Nick: I tried for years to get in touch with her. She wouldn't return any of my calls, any of my letters, and I always found that weird since she didn't blame me.
Victor: She probably wanted to put the whole thing behind her.
Victor: No, you paid her off! You bribed the entire Allen family. And part of that deal was no contact with me, right, dad? How much did that cost you?
Victor: Watch it, son. I'm not denying a damn thing, okay?
Victor: I will not discuss this with you. Nor will I apologize for what I've done.
Nick: Well, of course you won't.
Victor: Why the hell should I apologize? I did this to protect you, protect her, protect her family. In fact, the family thanked me for resolving this quickly and quietly. You should thank me, too.
Nick: What the hell should I thank you for?
Victor: For protecting your future, son.
Nick: It's a future you bought and paid for!
Victor: You wouldn't have done any differently with any of your children, would you, now?
Sharon: You sure I can't make you breakfast?
Dylan: Oh, no, I'm good. Thank you. Hey, you never answered me before. You said you hadn't slept that well since -- since when?
Sharon: Um, I was just gonna say since Nick threatened to take Faith away from me. The idea of losing all that time with her just keeps me awake at night.
Dylan: Well, now that Nick has agreed to give you more time with Faith, you should be able to rest easy.
Sharon: I slept like a baby last night.
Dylan: Well, uh, I have to stop by work. I'll come back and check on you later, okay?
Sharon: You don't have to do that. I've kept you away from your fiancée long enough.
Dylan: Yeah, you know, Avery's been, uh... just really busy with a new client, so... I'll come back. It's no problem.
Sharon: I don't know how to thank you.
Dylan: Uh, I haven't done much.
Sharon: You stood by me, didn't you? You didn't judge me. You believed in me. And I don't know what I would have done without you.
Dylan: You're a survivor. You will always find a way to take care of yourself.
Sharon: Are you talking about how I convinced Nick to give me more time with Faith?
Dylan: I was pretty surprised you were able to do that.
Sharon: Well, thank you for not asking what I'm holding over him.
Dylan: Don't want to know.
Sharon: I agree. It's better off that you don't know what someone you love is capable of doing. I'm gonna go get dressed. Nick's bringing Faith over later.
Sage: I know that your entire life is all about getting back together with Chelsea, but we need to take a couple of minutes and figure out our stories for Tipton.
Adam: I think you worry too much about that stuffed shirt.
Sage: You're the one who wants to keep this whole fake marriage charade going.
Adam: You know what, sweetheart? I really -- and maybe it's just me -- I feel like you committing adultery with my brother is gonna send up more red flags than us not moving back into our smoke-damaged apartment.
Sage: You think I like sneaking around?
Adam: Some women get off on it.
Sage: Okay. Yeah. But I'm not one of them. I don't like lying, okay?!
Adam: Don't do anything stupid.
Billy: All right, we're here. What's the big emergency?
Chelsea: Hi, Sage.
Sage: Hi. Guys, I was just leaving. We'll talk later.
Billy: So...what's going on? And where's Jack? If this is a crisis, why isn't he here?
Adam: Right, uh... truthfully, I didn't want to bother him with it, you know? He's still dealing with Kelly's death and... actually thought you might want to tackle this one since it involves your ex-wife.
Billy: What does Victoria have to do with this?
Adam: Somebody hacked into Jabot's mainframe.
Billy: And you think it was Victoria?
Adam: I think Victoria knows who it was.
Victoria: I know how driven dad can be when he wants something, but Jack is not gonna let go of his family's company.
Nikki: Well, that's what worries me, 'cause your father is not going to give up.
Victoria: Do you think he would try to steal Jabot from Jack?
Nikki: He said he wouldn't.
Victoria: Well, there you go then.
Nikki: He also said that some day Jack would come to him, begging for his help and he would give it to him. In exchange for everything that Jack had.
Victoria: He said something similar to me.
Nikki: How would your father even know what Jack is gonna do in the future unless he is planning something? I'm afraid that war between the two of them has started all over again.
Victoria: Dad is definitely up to something. He asked me to gather all the information I could on Jabot.
Nikki: Doesn't he realize how stressful it is for me when he does things like this?
Victoria: Dad is never gonna change. You just need to learn how to not let it affect you.
Nikki: Well, it would be a lot easier if I knew what he was up to.
Nick: You really think what you did was protecting me?
Victor: You're damn right I do.
Nick: You let a young girl take the blame for something that was my fault.
Victor: The accident happened, okay? It was done. What good would it do now to hold you responsible for it?
Nick: Especially when you can buy my way out of it.
Victor: I did that to protect you! And her and her family. And for your information, they're taken care of for the rest of their lives. And I made sure that you have a future.
Nick: It's a future I didn't deserve.
Victor: You're not that naive, are you? Do you think we all get what we deserve?
Nick: I had a right to choose what kind of life I wanted, but you made that choice for me.
Victor: Why are you bringing all this up now? Has that girl contacted you?
Nick: No. Sharon told me.
Victor: Oh, for heaven's sake.
Nick: Apparently she was there that night, hiding and listening. She heard you get on the phone and tell your henchmen to do whatever was necessary to keep me out of trouble.
Victor: I hope you're glad that I've seen to it that that woman stays away from you!
Nick: You've done the exact opposite, dad. Sharon and I are connected forever now because she will always have this to hold over me.
Victor: Do you know how damage that woman has done to our family? I'll see to it that she stays away from you.
Nick: No. You stay out of it. You've done enough already.
Victor: I suggest you and I both forget this conversation.
Nick: You might be able to do that, but now that I know the truth, I'll never be able to forget.
[Door opens, closes]
Courtney: I found a report filed by the GCFD back in the fall of Nick and Sharon's senior year of high school.
Noah: What did it say?
Courtney: That Sandra Allen was injured at the Newman ranch. She dove off the balcony into the swimming pool.
Nick: Broken neck?
Sharon: Did the report mention my dad at all?
Courtney: No. And I couldn't find any record of his involvement in police files, either.
Summer: See? Dad had nothing to do with it.
Courtney: Or what Sharon told Austin was the truth. And Victor paid someone to keep nick's name out of it.
[Knock on door]
Noah: I'll get it. Dylan?
Dylan: I thought I might find you all here.
Dylan: I know everything. Austin's murder, hiding the body, the messages.
Summer: Wait, who -- who told you? Was it...Kevin? Mariah?
Dylan: It was Abby.
Summer: [Sighs] Great. Proving once again that she can't be trusted.
Dylan: If Abby hadn't told me, stitch would have.
Noah: Okay, that's great. So are you gonna go to the cops?
Dylan: Uh, give me a good reason not to.
Kyle: Well, we then would all be in 10 kinds of trouble.
Summer: Yeah, or dead like Austin.
Dylan: Look, I get that you guys are freaked out because of what you've done and the threats you've been getting, but you have to understand you're not the only ones involved now. Sharon's been threatened, too.
Noah: No, she hasn't.
Dylan: She didn't write that message herself!
Noah: You're right. She didn't. Kyle did. Tried to scare her into confessing.
Dylan: You son of a --
Noah: Dylan! Dylan! Kyle knows he messed up. He knows. He knows.
Kyle: I got the message. Noah was very persuasive.
Dylan: This isn't a joke, you little punk. You have any idea how dangerous it is to play head games with Sharon? You could have pushed her over the edge. What the hell were you thinking?
Kyle: That I could force Sharon to admit that she killed Austin so that Nick would never find out what she said in that interview.
Sharon: Sweetie! Hi!
Faith: Daddy said I'm gonna have an extra day with you every week.
Sharon: Yes, we agreed on that.
Faith: Daddy, does this mean you stopped fighting?
Nick: It means you get to spend more time with your mom.
Faith: I'm so glad you and mommy don't hate each other anymore.
Sharon: Of course we don't, sweetie.
Faith: Can we play a game?
Sharon: Um, as soon as you finish your homework.
Faith: I'll do it right now.
Sharon: [Chuckles] Okay.
Nick: Love you. See you tomorrow, Faith.
Faith: Bye, Daddy!
Sharon: You won't regret this.
Nick: I already regret it. In fact, I'm thinking of going to the authorities and telling them everything that you saw and heard with what happened with Sandra that night.
Sharon: That's a pretty big can of worms to open.
Nick: It'd be worth it.
Sharon: Are you sure? You'd have a hard time proving you didn't know about the hush money Victor paid to Sandra and her family. You could lose custody of Faith completely.
Nick: You'd really do that to Faith?
Sharon: You did. Nick, the arrangement we have works. There's no reason to dig up the past. We can keep the truth about what happened to sandy between you and me and Victor. It's up to you.
Courtney: Sandra Allen was definitely injured at that accident at the ranch.
Noah: Courtney pulled up some old accident reports and it was pretty much exactly how my mom described it.
Dylan: Could Nick have found out Austin knew what happened that night?
Courtney: It's possible.
Noah: No, it's not possible, okay? There's no way either of my parents killed Austin.
Summer: Well, it couldn't have been dad. He was trapped under a ton of rubble that night at the underground.
Kyle: Hey, that still leaves Sharon.
Noah: Kyle, lay off my mom.
Kyle: Why? Because you say so, Noah?
Dylan: No, because I say so. Let it go. All of it. Forget Austin, forget the murder, who might have done it.
Courtney: And what? Go on with our lives like nothing happened?
Dylan: Because if you don't, one of you might get hurt. Whoever's threatening you doesn't realize I know anything. That gives me free rein to take care of this.
Kyle: And how? By going to Paul? 'Cause, see, that doesn't really work for me, Dylan.
Dylan: Maybe I didn't make myself clear. Back off.
Kyle: Why? And let you play Rambo?
Dylan: Your lies made this mess. I'm gonna do my best to clean it up. Stay out of my way.
Adam: The hacker used something called a root kit to access the mainframe, and I guess once they were in, they were able to steal some pretty sensitive files. Chelsea, they got your latest designs.
Adam: I'm sorry.
Billy: This just smells like Victor. And Jack said he thought he was up to something.
Adam: Of course. He's always up to something. Doesn't care who he hurts as long as he gets what he wants. We can't let him get away with this.
Billy: I don't intend to.
Chelsea: I'm not sure Victoria shares your feelings.
Billy: What does that mean?
Chelsea: Well, I mean, she's been asking you to watch the kids a lot lately so she can spend time at Newman. It stands to reason.
Billy: Oh, come on. Victoria would never do anything to hurt my family.
Chelsea: I'm just saying I think her loyalty is to her father. That's clear.
Billy: Okay, fine. If that'll make you happy, I'll talk to her about it, but I can guarantee you she didn't have anything to do with this. Look, thanks for giving me the information about the breach, you know? Talk to you later.
Adam: All right. Victor. Should have known.
Chelsea: I'm sorry. I mean, this must be painful for you. Dredging up old memories of your father losing his business.
Adam: My father, Harrison, didn't lose his software company. It was stolen from him -- by Victor. Destroyed the man in the process.
Chelsea: Well, I'm sure Victor regrets that.
Adam: I don't think Victor Newman regrets anything that he ever does. He's as cold and heartless as he ever was. I just wish I would have figured that out a little bit sooner, you know? It would have saved me a little heartache.
Chelsea: What about your father? You loved him.
Adam: Idolized him. Actually is a better word. I used to think we would work side-by-side together one day. That was before I realized what a son of a bitch he was. [Chuckles]
Victor: I will leave the information at the usual place. I will text you when I get there, all right? You retrieve it immediately and call me when you've got it, okay? I didn't hear you come in.
Nikki: Oh, I just got here.
Victor: How was your breakfast with Victoria?
Nikki: Oh, it was interesting.
Victor: Yeah? Let's discuss it when I come back. I got some business to take care of, okay?
Victor: Okay. Bye, baby.
Nick: I already gave you an extra day with Faith. Now you're talking about joint custody?
Sharon: Let's just take things one day at a time, okay? I'm happy with the arrangement. For now.
[Knock on door]
Faith: I'll get it! Dylan!
Dylan: Hey, Faith! Uh, I didn't know you were gonna be here this early.
Faith: We had a half day at school.
Faith: [Chuckles] We're gonna make cookies. Can you stay?
Dylan: Uh, yeah, if you promise to make me a special cookie.
Dylan: All right.
Sharon: I have everything we need in the kitchen. I'll see you later.
Nick: You've been spending a lot of time here lately.
Dylan: Yeah, just helping Sharon with some things around the house.
Nick: Well, I'm grateful. Sharon's been on edge lately. I don't really feel very comfortable leaving Faith with her.
Dylan: Sharon would never do anything to hurt Faith.
Nick: I have no choice but to hope you're right.
Noah: Dylan's right. Guys, we got to move on. Stop obsessing over Austin's murder.
Summer: Well, even if we do, it's not gonna stop who's ever sending these threatening messages. I think our mystery stalker ought to know by now that we're not going to the cops.
Courtney: Especially since one of us is a cop.
Noah: I just think we need to move on with our lives.
Summer: Yeah, that's easier said than done.
Noah: You guys do what you want to do, okay? But I'm moving on. I'm going forward, not looking back. Starting right now. So, court, can we just go to crimson lights and hang out and get a coffee like we used to?
Courtney: That sounds great.
[Chuckles] See you guys later.
Summer: I can't. I can't just...forget that Austin was murdered. I mean, he was my husband. His killer's still out there. I can't forget that.
Kyle: It's gonna be okay. All right? I'll keep you safe.
Summer: I'm really glad that you decided to stay around for awhile.
Kyle: What, you think I'd leave you in the middle of this mess?
Summer: I mean, I know that you just came back for Abby's Valentine's Day party, so...
Kyle: Is that what you think? It's what you told me.
Kyle: Summer... I came back for you.
Adam: You just call me when all the passwords are reset, okay? Thank you.
Chelsea: You're determined to protect Jabot.
Adam: Well, yeah. I think Jack needs somebody like me on his side if he's gonna defeat Victor.
Chelsea: Someone like you?
Adam: Yeah, someone who's not afraid to play dirty. But I learned from the best.
Chelsea: Your father?
Adam: Mm-hmm. He was, um... the master.
Chelsea: You don't really talk a lot about him.
Adam: My father and I had a complicated relationship.
Chelsea: Trust me. I understand complicated relationships when it comes to fathers. Jeffrey and I could write the book.
Adam: Ah, Jeffrey. Your father. Does Billy get along with him?
Chelsea: He tolerates him, I guess.
Chelsea: So did Adam.
Adam: Um... look, it seems like you were worried about nothing.
Chelsea: About what?
Adam: Billy -- he didn't run off after you told him you needed a little more time to get over Adam.
Adam: That's good. That's good. That's good. He's probably relieved, anyway, you know? You know, give him a little more time to sort of work through his own issues.
Chelsea: What issues?
Adam: Uh...nothing. No. Forget about it. I shouldn't have said anything.
Chelsea: But you did say something, so why don't you just explain what you were talking about. What do you think Billy has to work out?
Adam: I just -- just now I couldn't help but notice, you know, how quickly he came to his ex-wife's defense. That's all.
Victoria: I'm kind of surprised you're telling me about this. I would think that you'd want to keep it -- wait a second. Do you think I know something about who hacked your computers?
Billy: No, I don't, but we have reason to believe that Victor's behind it.
Chelsea: Based on what?
Billy: Well, the fact that he's been spying on our labs for months, he recently made a bid for Jabot, and, uh... oh! He's Victor Newman.
Victoria: What do you want from me, Billy?
Billy: I just want you to find out if I'm right.
Victoria: You want me to spy on my father?
Billy: You mean like that time you asked me to spy on my brother?
Victoria: That was different. We were married and we trusted each other.
Billy: So trust me now. Look, Vick. A war between our families is going to hurt a lot of people.
Victoria: I do not want a battle between the Abbotts and the Newmans.
Billy: Then put a stop to it, and find out if Victor's going after Jack.
Victoria: That's not fair. Using my feelings for you like this. It'd be a lot easier if I could just hate you.
Billy: Yeah, but you can't.
Victoria: No, of course I could never hate you.
Billy: I could never hate you, either.
Victoria: Okay. It's official, then. We're madly in non-hate.
Billy: [Chuckles] Yeah. Something like that.
Courtney: Okay. [Chuckles] Trying not to freak out over here.
Courtney: It's just that since we decided to stop obsessing over Austin's murder there's been this weird lull in our conversation.
Noah: Sorry. I was just thinking about something.
Courtney: Like what I'm wearing under my clothes?
Noah: [Chuckles] I'm always thinking about that.
Noah: I did have something on my mind, though.
Courtney: More important than my lingerie?
Noah: Yeah. Yeah, I'd really like to talk to you about it.
Courtney: What is it?
Noah: It's about us.
Noah: [Chuckles] Um... remember like about a year ago we were here at crimson lights and I gave you the key to my apartment? And you were just like completely freaking out because you thought that I was giving you an engagement ring?
Courtney: Yeah. [Laughs] I was so not ready to get married then.
Noah: No, neither was I. It's just a lot's happened since then. Some were really great. And some...
Courtney: Not so great.
Noah: It's just Austin's death just made me think about life and how everything changes and how it can just end... [Snaps fingers] ...Like that.
Courtney: What does that have to do with us?
Noah: You know, I've been standing still for so long that I convinced myself that I'm comfortable, that just working at my dad's club and hanging out with my friends, with you was enough.
Courtney: And it's not?
Noah: I don't want to wake up one day or -- not wake up -- with regrets. Especially...when the best thing that ever happened to me is sitting right here in front of me.
Courtney: Noah. Wait. [Chuckles]
Courtney: You're not gonna --
Noah: [Chuckles] [Clears throat] Courtney... will you marry me?
Courtney: Oh, my God. Oh, my God! [Laughing] Oh, my God!
Noah: Is that a yes?
Courtney: Yes, yes! I'll marry you.
Noah: Are you sure?
Courtney: Yes. Yes! I'm sure. Yes. Yes. [Laughs]
Sage: Bad time? I don't think you should be throwing things at the walls. You just spent a lot of money to put this place back together.
Nick: Yeah, well, money can't fix everything, despite what some people think.
Sage: What's going on, Nick?
Nick: What do you care?
Sage: Excuse me? I'm your friend.
Nick: You don't even know me. I'm just another entitled, rich guy that you latched onto. Is that your angle?
Sage: My -- my angle?
Nick: Yeah, everyone's got one. Find the richest guy in town and get what you can out of him. First it was bingo and now me.
Sage: How dare you speak to me like this?
Nick: If it's not money you're after in this relationship, what is it?
Sage: I don't know, Nick. I thought it was the same thing you were after. Apparently I was wrong.
Nick: Sage, wait. [Sighs]
Chelsea: Victoria is the mother of Billy's children. Of course he's gonna defend her.
Adam: Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. That's -- of course. I'm sure that's all it was.
Chelsea: If you're implying that she's the reason he wants to postpone our wedding, you're wrong.
Adam: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Slow down. I wasn't saying that. No, I was just saying that I think it's smart that you two don't, you know, gee, rush into a marriage, you know? It's smart. It's good.
Chelsea: We're in total agreement.
Adam: Yeah. And why wouldn't you be?
Chelsea: Well, I'm going to go check on Victoria and Billy and see if she knew anything about this whole hacking situation.
Adam: Well, I'm sure he's going to find out exactly what he already knew, that it was Victor.
Chelsea: Well, if that's true, this is far from over. He's a man that does not stop until he gets what he wants.
Adam: Yeah, that runs in the family.
Kyle: You okay?
Summer: Austin was always jealous of you. He thought he could never compete with your money or your lifestyle, like that was the only reason why I cared about you.
Kyle: He didn't deserve you.
Summer: Well, I loved him. And he promised to love me, and I really believed him.
Kyle: You know... I came back to stop you from ever being hurt like this again. Epic fail. [Chuckles]
Summer: Thank you. For trying. And for staying to look out for me.
Summer: You've always done that. You've always been my protector. It feels like you're my big brother.
Kyle: But I'm not. And I don't want you to see me like that.
Faith: Four, five, six.
Faith: [Sighs] "Buy a house."
Dylan: Buy a house? You don't even have a job. How are you gonna pay for a house?
Faith: I'm a Newman. We can buy anything we want.
Sharon: [Gasps] Who told you that?
Faith: Cookies are ready!
Dylan: Better get those. All right.
Faith: Your turn.
Dylan: And...wow. That's a lot. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. Okay.
Faith: Okay. What's it say?
Dylan: "Car stuck in the woods. Lose a turn."
Faith: [Chuckles] Just like mommy's car that night.
Dylan: What night?
Faith: The night of the snowstorm. When all the lights went out.
Dylan: You mean when her car slid off the road?
Faith: Before that. We were driving around and we drove through the woods.
Sharon: Fresh out of the oven!
Sage: What do you want to say?
Nick: I'm sorry. And I'm a jerk.
Sage: That's a start. You can't talk to me like that.
Nick: I know, and I won't do that ever again. I'm sorry. And I did not mean those things. Not about you.
Sage: You're right. I am with you because I want something. I want a refuge. A safe haven from all the secrets and the lies in my life. It's not by chance that I chose a nice, decent guy like you for that.
Nick: Believe me, I have secrets, too. Deep, dark ones that I have been running away from, but they're always there, waiting for someone to use against me.
Sage: Is that why you're so upset?
Nick: Look... you think you know someone and then you find out that you never knew them at all. And your world, it just -- I don't know who to trust anymore.
Sage: You can trust me, Nick.
Victoria: So we're good, right? You believe me when I say I didn't have anything to do with the hacking incident at Jabot.
Billy: Victoria, I know you would never do anything to hurt me or my family.
Victoria: You still think my father's behind it, though.
Billy: Look, if Victor wants a war with the Abbotts, then we're ready. And we're not gonna back down.
Victoria: As long as it doesn't affect us.
Billy: No more putting you in the middle.
Victoria: You promise?
Billy: Promise. [Chuckles] Truce?
Billy: [Chuckles] Careful. We, uh, don't want a repeat of last night.
Chelsea: What happened last night?
Adam: Jack. Thank God you're back. There's been a security breach and I know exactly who's behind it. The hell are you doing here?
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Ashley: If somebody's determined, there's really no way to stop them.
Jack: Somebody like Victor.
Victor: So you know me, huh?
Adam: More than you think.
Victor: Who the hell are you?
