Nikki: He's not here, but will I do?

Nick: Mom!

Nikki: (Sighs)

Nick: It's so good to see you.

Nikki: Oh, it is so good to be home.

Ashley: (Shivers)

Tucker: What, are you cold?

Ashley: No, I'm not cold. So come on, tell me.

Tucker: What, what?

Ashley: How is it?

Tucker: How's what?

Ashley: You know.

Tucker: Being here with you?

Ashley: No. Being married.

Tucker: Uhh... it's not bad.

Ashley: No?

Tucker: It's a lot of work, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Ashley: Yeah?

Tucker: Yeah. Yeah, I gotta keep my woman happy.

Ashley: Mm-hmm.

Tucker: I gotta think of special things to do for her, like, uh, I ordered a special romantic breakfast. The cook is sending it over right about now.

Ashley: No, he isn't.

Tucker: What--

Ashley: I canceled it.

Tucker: Why'd you do that?

Tucker: Mm.

Victoria: Um, are you gonna-- are you gonna wear that?

Billy: Yeah, I'm gonna wear this. You didn't complain last night when I wore this.

Victoria: No, because it went with the outfit.

Billy: I know. The bunny rabbit outfit.

Victoria: The bunny rabbit.

Billy: That's why I like this thing. It goes with...

Victoria: Yeah, it does.

Billy: Everything and nothing, especially my favorite bunny rabbit.

Victoria: Bunny rabbits.

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Victoria: You know what they say about bunny rabbits.

Billy: Yeah, I know what they say. They do--mm-hmm.

Victoria: Mm. Ohh.

Billy: Mm. (Growls)

Victoria: Get off me. (Laughs)

Billy: (Sighs) What? Really?

Victoria: You're a slob.

Billy: Come on. The... (Sighs)

Victoria: Ohh. Um...

Billy: What?

Victoria: Uh, oh, no. (Sighs)

Billy: What's wrong?

Victoria: Oh, no. (Sighs) Ohh, our divorce is final.

Jack: Are you still pretty hyped from your ski trip?

Kyle: Yeah, it was awesome. Yeah, but I hated leaving you alone on Thanksgiving.

Jack: Well, you know, I wasn't exactly alone. I had dinner with a friend. I was hoping that maybe we could get you to meet her this morning.

Kyle: Oh, her.

Jack: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what? Go get us a couple hot chocolates, all right?

Kyle: Okay.

Jack: Joe, hey.

Joe: Oh, hey, Jack. What's up?

Jack: Oh, just grabbing a little time with my son.

Joe: Oh, that's nice. All this business with his mom must be rough on him, especially this latest thing.

Jack: What "Latest thing" would that be?

Joe: I thought you heard. They're exhuming Diane Jenkins' body today.

Genevieve: Myrna. Myrna, I... (Sighs) Uh, Jack is going to bring his son over to meet me.

Myrna: Oh, uh... (Exhales) You-- you sound so worried.

Genevieve: Oh, you know, it-- it's just that--I don't know, it hasn't been that long since that boy lost his mother. I don't-- I don't know how he's gonna feel about seeing his father with a new woman in his life.

Myrna: Well, she was murdered, wasn't she?

Genevieve: Yes, brutally. Some sick person bashed her skull in with a rock. I mean, what kind of a monster does it take?

Myrna: I-I couldn't tell. I, um... I just hope they find him soon.

Genevieve: Yeah, or her. (Stammers) Anyways, um, look. I, uh, I want to go get ready. Will you please listen for the door, uh, if they arrive?

Myrna: Oh, well, of course, of course.

Genevieve: Thanks.

Myrna: (Sighs)

(Knock on door)

Myrna: (Sighs) Oh!

Adam: Surprise.

Myrna: (Sighs) What are you doing here?

Adam: Courtesy call.

Myrna: (Sighs) Look, you know, if you came to tell me that my plan to frame you for Diane's murder backfired, I got it the first time, and honestly, I don't care if you put that evidence in Victor's safe. I really don't.

Adam: I came here to watch you squirm when I tell you this. I dealt with my dad.

Myrna: (Sighs)

Adam: Now I'm gonna deal with you.

Michael: They treat you okay last night?

Victor: Toying with me like that may cost "Inspector Clouseau" his badge. Right, Malloy?

Ronan: Well, it's a good thing I can always go back to the bureau, then, right?

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Ronan: It's a shame to leave now, though. Things are just starting to get interesting.

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Michael: Oh, goody. You found the real murderer.

Ronan: Its possible succinylcholine killed Diane.

Michael: You book him?

Ronan: It's a paralytic drug that can lead to death. Traces of it were found in the syringe that was in Victor's safe.

Michael: Which means nothing. The coroner stated that Diane died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Ronan: If this drug shows up in her bloodstream, well, we'll have a whole new theory as to what brought about her demise.

Victor: Hmm. Do you enjoy this sort of hypothesizing and making accusations like this, hmm? While the real murderer is probably out in the streets, killing someone else? If that happens, it's on your head. You know that, don't you?

Jack: Why would they dig up Diane's body?

Joe: Um, new development in the case. My ears inside the coroner's office tell me that a second autopsy has been ordered. So, uh, news will be out soon.

Jack: Yeah, uh, thanks for telling me.

Joe: Of course, man.

Kyle: Um, who's that guy you were talking to?

Jack: Oh, uh, it's Joe. He's a friend.

Kyle: Dad, I'm not a kid. What's going on?

Jack: Joe just told me they're digging up your mother's body. They want to do a second autopsy.

Kyle: Can't they just leave her alone?

Jack: Yeah, I wish they could. (Sighs)

Kyle: You think maybe they have a new lead or something, that they're getting closer to catching the person that killed her?

Jack: You know what I think? I think we need to go find out. Come on. New evidence.

Joe: See you.

Myrna: Would you just stop? Genevieve could come back down. Please.

Adam: Well, if you don't want your boss to find out who you are, stop giving me reasons to come by here.

Myrna: Well, I had to prove that you're not the one in charge.

Adam: How'd that work out for you? I used your ill-advised plan to my advantage. Malloy found the syringe in my father's safe, and per usual, he jumped to all the wrong conclusions.

Myrna: Hmm. Then I did you a favor.

Adam: You know, if the good detective finds out that my father was set up, he's also gonna find out that Patty's back in town, and she's packing little bottles of succinylcholine.

Myrna: Hmm. A lot of people have access to illegal drugs in this town, Adam.

Nikki: Yeah, I just got into town last night. I came here because I wanted to thank your father for everything that he did for me while I was in rehab.

Nick: Did you see him?

Nikki: No, he wasn't here. Actually, I fell asleep waiting for him, and when I woke up this morning, he still wasn't here.

Nick: Maybe he had a last-minute business trip or something.

Nikki: Well, it's not like I was expected.

Nick: Well, he is gonna be so happy to see you, and Victoria and the kids.

Nikki: I missed you so much.

Nick: We missed you, too. I mean... where were you? You got out of rehab and we all wanted to see you, and you didn't come straight home.

Michael: You're saying it appeared Diane was hit in the head.

Ronan: She was obviously hit in the head.

Michael: But that's not what killed her.

Ronan: I'm thinking that her skull was crushed after she was dead.

Michael: And what brought you to this savage and somewhat farfetched conclusion?

Ronan: Blood, on the tip of the syringe that was found in Victor's safe. I thought maybe you could tell me how it got there.

Victor: I told you, I never saw that syringe before, nor do I have any idea how it got into my safe, all right?

Ronan: Let's talk about the safe, then.

Victor: Uh-huh.

Ronan: Who else has that combination?

Victor: My secretary Connie.

Ronan: That's it? Nobody else?

Victor: And my ex-wife Nikki, who has been out of town for a while.

Michael: All right, this is ridiculous. Safes can be broken into easily.

Ronan: That is true, but getting succinylcholine? That's not so easy. It's only used in surgery, so whoever got their hands on it would have to have access to a hospital pharmacy.

Nikki: You know, I was in the hospital for so long, I just--I felt like I needed to have a little time to myself after they released me before coming home.

Nick: But you're okay now?

Nikki: Oh, I am ready to be with my family.

Nick: Oh, we've missed you so much, and Victoria--I mean, Mom, she really needs you. It's been rough on her. She lost Lucy and then Billy.

Nikki: (Sighs) I know, Honey, but I-I'm sure it hasn't been easy for you, either, with this Diane mess, and your father told me the police have questioned all of you.

Nick: Yeah, from day one.

Nikki: I am so sorry that I wasn't here when-- when the whole thing began. I-it was just a very critical point of my therapy. They--they wouldn't let me leave rehab.

Nick: But you did. I mean, you were missing the night that Diane was murdered, and we were so concerned, Mom, because nobody had any idea where you were.

Ashley: (Laughs)

Tucker: So... what comes after this, huh? On a honeymoon, I mean. What comes next?

Ashley: Oh. Why do you think I'm supposed to know what happens on a honeymoon?

Tucker: Well, you've done this more than once, haven't you?

Ashley: (Gasps) Oh! Oh, well, okay. Since I am the expert...

Tucker: Mm-hmm.

Ashley: You probably should have gotten me a gift.

Tucker: Gifts?

Ashley: Mm-hmm.

Tucker: Who said anything about gifts?

Ashley: Mm. You're such an amateur.

Tucker: (Sighs) Well...

Ashley: (Giggles)

Tucker: You know, some of us only have to do this once to get it right.

Ashley: (Gasps) If you'd gotten it right, you would have gotten me a gift. (Laughs) I'm kidding.

Tucker: You mean...

Ashley: (Gasps) Ohh. You know what? You...

Tucker: Like this?

Ashley: Are such a show-off. These are amazing.

Tucker: (Laughs)

Ashley: Ohh!

Tucker: Beauty for my beauty.

Ashley: I remember these.

Tucker: Mm-hmm.

Ashley: Oh, this is amazing. I remember, this was a-- it was--we were in Japan, and it was at that little shop that was right around the corner from the hotel, right?

Tucker: You do remember.

Ashley: (Whispering) Oh, these are so beautiful. (Normal voice) I remember something else.

Tucker: What?

Ashley: (Sighs) Ta-da!

Tucker: Ohh. What is it?

Ashley: Well...

Tucker: It's a crane.

Ashley: (Laughs)

Tucker: That's beautiful.

Ashley: It's a crane. Yes, it is. It's a Japanese symbol for love and fidelity. Did you know that? 'Cause they mate for life. And so I got it for you to remind you that... I give you my love and fidelity for life... for ever and ever.

Tucker: Mm.

Ashley: I don't want to stab you with it, though.

Tucker: (Sighs) Man.

Ashley: What?

Tucker: I never thought I would...

Ashley: Mm.

Tucker: I never imagined I'd have all this.

Ashley: I messed up so many relationships, I never thought I'd get it right.

Tucker: We beat the odds, Darlin'.

Ashley: Mm.

Victoria: (Sighs) I'm so sorry. I never should have started the proceedings. I just honestly-- I didn't think you were gonna be coming back.

Billy: You want to blame somebody, blame me. This is my fault.

Victoria: I guess it doesn't really matter who's at fault. I mean... we're divorced.

Billy: Yeah, but all that means is we have a good excuse to have another wedding. Maybe Hef'll let us get hitched at the playboy mansion, and this time, we'll save the handcuffs for after the wedding. What do you think?

Victoria: (Sighs) Hopefully.

Billy: Look, I was just kidding about the arresting...

Victoria: Oh, I know.

Billy: Everything, okay?

Victoria: That Ronan Malloy, okay? He's very serious about finding out who killed Diane.

Billy: You really can't be worried about being a suspect.

Victoria: Billy, um, there's something that you need to know about me and about the night that Diane was killed.

Nick: (Sighs) Mom, we were so freaked out. I mean, the night you disappeared from rehab, Diane turns up dead, and nobody had heard from you.

Nikki: You must have worried that the same thing had happened to me. I am so sorry. It just--terrible timing.

Nick: Was it because of the lawsuit that Diane filed against you? Is that why you took off?

Nikki: Oh, Honey, it was just... (Sighs) It was everything. A-and... there was pressure to do well, to succeed, but fear that I wouldn't, I would disappoint you, and I-it just all got to be too much.

Nick: I really wish you would have called me.

Nikki: Honey, you couldn't have done anything. I was gonna do what I was gonna do.

Nick: What did you do?

Nikki: (Sighs) I lost my sobriety. I-I don't even like to think about it or talk about that time. I'm so sorry, Son.

Nick: I'm sorry. I-I don't mean to bring up you know, bad memories.

Nikki: No, Honey, Honey, you didn't. I-I'm just glad that I'm home now and we can all get back to normal.

Nick: I don't know about that. Ronan is very determined to find Diane's killer. And Dad, Victoria, and I are all suspects.

Nikki: Well, that's ridiculous. He's wasting his time. I know that none of you could have done that.

Victor: I hold no medical license, nor have I been in a hospital lately, so how the hell would I get a hold of such a powerful narcotic?

Ronan: Money. Lots and lots of money.

Victor: You're accusing me now of purchasing illegal drugs? Is that it?

Michael: You have nothing on my client--no fingerprints on the syringe...

Ronan: He could have wiped them off.

Michael: No proof he put it in the safe.

Ronan: No proof that he didn't.

Victor: I was set up. Isn't that obvious?

Adam: How long do you think it's gonna take Malloy to figure out that you're the one who set my father up when he realizes that you're in town?

Myrna: Mm, well, I had some business that I needed to take care of.

Adam: Mm, you gotta feed your dead cat?

Myrna: Okay, don't you dare talk about Mr. Kitty that way.

Adam: Well, you could end up that way if anyone finds out who you are.

Myrna: Okay, you know what? Just go. Just go away! We're done, Adam. We're done! What--

Genevieve: Myrna? Myrna?

Myrna: Yes?

Genevieve: What's going on down here?

Myrna: (Sighs)

Genevieve: What do you think you're doing here? I asked you a question. Why are you harassing my housekeeper?

Adam: I was just talking to her.

Genevieve: About what?

Adam: Well, I wanted to talk with you, actually, about our mutual interests in Newman Enterprises. You know, you and I had spoken the other day and said that we would get together sometime soon, so I came by, and I asked for you. She said you were busy.

Genevieve: She's right. I am.

Adam: Well, I guess we'll have to talk sometime soon then.

(Cell phone alert chimes)

Adam: Excuse me. I'm sorry. I have to, um, I have to go.

Genevieve: Yes, you do.

Adam: I'll be in touch. Myrna.

Genevieve: Not even an apology?

Myrna: It's okay. At least he's gone.

Genevieve: Myrna, do you know him? I-I mean... (Stammers) It seems like you know what he's all about. Is that why when he asked to speak to me that you wouldn't let him?

Myrna: Mm-hmm.

Genevieve: Thank you. Thank you. I've met this guy twice briefly. Both times, I just felt like-- I don't know. There's something off about him.

Myrna: Yeah. I couldn't agree with you more.

Genevieve: Mm.

Nick: Well, Detective Malloy better not mess with you, because you're unstoppable when it comes to protecting your family.

Nikki: Well, especially when I know you're all innocent. (Sighs) I-I don't-- I don't want to talk about this anymore. No more Diane's murder anything. I just want to hear about the family.

(Cell phone alert chimes)

Nick: (Sighs) Excuse me.

Nick: Dad's at the police station? He says he's been there all night.

Nikki: What?

Ronan: It was a setup then? Tell me who set you up. Tell me why, and tell me how they managed to get in that high-security building of yours.

Victor: Michael?

Michael: Isn't figuring all that out your job?

Ronan: Oh, come on, Michael. Let's save the taxpayers some money on this one.

Michael: Well, you could do that by interviewing Victor's assistant.

Ronan: I didn't mention that I already did?

Michael: No, you didn't. Please share.

Ronan: Connie, right? Connie said that she, yes, left the safe open and unattended for... she wasn't sure how long.

Michael: So you knew all along the evidence could have been planted.

Ronan: Could have been.

Michael: We are done here, Detective.

Ronan: Well, Mr. Newman's still a person of interest, so no unscheduled trips out of town.

Victor: (Sighs)

Ronan: I'll get your release papers.

Victor: You have a productive day, Detective. That man is a bona fide ass. He's going to pay for holding me here overnight. No proof of anything-- just allegations, even accusing me of Diane Jenkins' murder.

Kyle: The police think you killed Mom? Well, did you?

Billy: Calm down. So what?

Victoria: (Sighs)

Billy: So you were in the park the night Diane was murdered. Big deal.

Victoria: It's gonna be a big deal if--if Ronan sees the movie that Adam made with all of the Abbotts and the Newmans confronting Diane in the park that night. It's gonna be a huge deal.

Billy: How did your goofy brother even put that together?

Victoria: I don't know, but I know it was him for sure, without a doubt.

Billy: Didn't you say the film was destroyed?

Victoria: Well, that doesn't guarantee that another copy's not gonna pop up somewhere.

Billy: Okay, but even if another copy pops up...

Victoria: (Sighs)

Billy: Malloy's not seriously gonna think that you killed Diane. That's silly. Come on.

Victoria: He may have eliminated me as a suspect, except that I lied to him.

Billy: You, um...

Victoria: (Sighs)

Billy: You lied to him?

Victoria: Yes, I lied to him.

Billy: Why'd you lie to him? You don't have to lie. You're innocent.

Victoria: I was just really angry at Diane for filing that lawsuit against my mother, and, okay, I just--I-I was afraid that they would just jump to the wrong conclusion about all of it, and... (Sighs) I helped my dad.

Billy: Ahh. You helped your dad. (Clears throat) You gave Daddy an alibi, didn't you?

Victoria: Yeah, I was just-- I was just, you know, I was trying to protect him, and I was trying to cover for him. (Sighs) And the whole time, he was keeping you away from me. (Sighs)

Billy: You know, sometimes I could cheerfully choke the life out of your father.

Victoria: (Sighs) I don't want to talk about this anymore. You know what? I just want to focus on us, and getting married again and being a family and with reed and Delia...

Billy: Mm-hmm.

Victoria: And watching old reruns on TV, and... oh, there's a marathon on tonight. Let's watch it.

Billy: Mm.

Victoria: (Sighs)

Billy: Honey, if you want to talk about your dad, let's talk about your--

Victoria: I don't want to talk about my dad, okay? I don't want to think about my dad. I don't want anything to do with him anymore.

Victor: Kyle, I did not kill your mother.

Jack: Then what are you doing here?

Michael: Victor.

Victor: This is no place for the boy.

Jack: We heard Diane's body is being exhumed. We came to find out why.

Kyle: It's because of you, isn't it? They're trying to prove that you killed Mom.

Michael: Kyle, that's not true.

Kyle: I thought you were my friend!

Victor: I am, Son.

Kyle: No, don't call me son! You're a liar, and... I hate you!

Victor: (Sighs) Go back to the office. I'll, uh, check in soon, all right?

Michael: Okay.

Victor: Thank you.

Jack: Well, I guess it's just a matter of time. Sooner or later, the scales of justice tilt in the right direction.

Victor: If there were justice in this world, that boy would not have gotten you as a father.

Jack: It just kills you, doesn't it? That he's my son.

Victor: For your information, he is my legal ward.

Jack: Just try to take him away from me. See, I have the ultimate weapon in this fight-- Kyle's love.

Ronan: Jack? Can I help you with something?

Jack: No. I got what I came for.

Victor: You have got nothing, Jack Abbott. Neither one of you have a damn thing.

Nick: All right, I appreciate it. Thanks.

Nikki: What? What's happening? Has your father been arrested?

Nick: My friend didn't know, so I'm gonna head down there and see what I can find out.

Nikki: Well, can you call me?

Nick: You don't want to come with me?

Nikki: He--he doesn't even know that I'm back. I don't think I should go.

Nick: Mom, seeing you might be just what Dad needs.

Nikki: No, I-I think that he needs to focus on getting out of whatever trouble he's in.

Nick: Okay, I'll call you when I learn anything.

Nikki: All right, thank you. Thank you.

Nikki: (Sighs) My God.

Nikki: (Sighs)

Nikki: (Sniffs)

Ashley: Well, you're just lucky that I'm so far away, or I'd be punching you for making me worry about you so much.

Billy: Yeah, Traci said the same thing. Don't worry. Jack has beat me up plenty. Promise.

Ashley: Billy, I'm so... I'm so happy you're home.

Billy: Yeah, it's all workin' out. DeeDee's doin' great. Vicky and I, we're, uh, you know, we're-- we're workin' it out.

Ashley: I'm so happy. I know how much you love her. Isn't it amazing, you know, when you find the right person?

Billy: Yeah, yeah. Go do the honeymoon thing with Tucker, and I'll see you when you get back.

Ashley: Welcome home, Billy. I love you.

Tucker: Billy's back home?

Ashley: (Sighs) He's back home. And he's back with Victoria, and Delia's getting better. All is right in the world.

Tucker: I'm afraid not all. (Sighs)

Chloe: I think he's right there.

Delia: (Gasps) Daddy!

Billy: Hey, hey, hey! (Grunts) (Laughs)

Delia: You came back.

Billy: I did. I told you-- DeeDee and Daddy forever. Hey, you remember this? Up high. Down low, in the hole. Too slow.

Delia: (Chuckles)

Billy: Daddy's never gonna go.

Delia: You promise?

Billy: Cross my everything. Mm, give me a hug.

Victoria: Michael.

Michael: Oh, Victoria. I'm glad you're here.

Victoria: Yeah, well, the sooner I clean out my office, the better for everyone.

Michael: Huh? What? Oh, you haven't heard.

Victoria: What?

Michael: Your dad spent the night as a guest of the G.C.P.D.

Victoria: In jail?

Michael: Someone planted a syringe in his safe. It had the residue of a deadly substance, and for good measure, some of Diane's blood. So, of course, Detective Malloy has a whole new theory about how she died.

Victoria: Yes, new theory, but the same old suspects.

Michael: Oh, come on, Victoria, listen. I know you're upset with Victor, but he needs your support right now just to--

Victoria: (Scoffs) Are you kidding me? No, Michael, not after what he did to Billy. I'm through with him. I'm through.

Adam: That's the difference between you and me, Victoria. No matter what Dad does to me, I still can't manage to turn my back on him.

Victoria: Yeah, well, maybe that's because you and Dad are a lot more alike than anyone realized.

Adam: Well, then I guess it makes perfect sense that I step in for him.

Genevieve: (Chuckles) So... this must be Kyle.

Jack: Yes, it is.

Genevieve: Hi. I-I'm Genevieve. It's very nice to meet you.

Kyle: You, too.

Genevieve: I have heard so much about you from your dad. Now let me see. Um, I know that you like... scary movies, uh, video games, right? Right? And hockey.

Kyle: Yeah.

Genevieve: Yeah? I can't play hockey, and I'm not that good at video games, either. But you know what? I like a scary movie every now and again.

Jack: Hey, you know what? We got that new one that you bought. Maybe we could come over on the weekend, get some pizza, and watch it together.

Genevieve: Oh.

Kyle: Sure.

Jack: Kyle's had kind of a rough morning, and we gotta get back to school.

Genevieve: Oh, yes. Yes, of course.

Kyle: Oh, hey. Where'd you come from?

Jack: I see you still got your stray, huh?

Genevieve: Yeah, and he is just desperate for somebody to care for him.

Nick: Hey. Where's my dad?

Ronan: Hey. He was released over an hour ago.

Nick: I talked to Connie. You knew last night there was plenty of time for someone to plant that syringe in his safe.

Ronan: That doesn't mean that Victor didn't put it there himself.

Nick: When are you gonna stop harassing our family?

Ronan: When I solve this murder case. Nick? You know all the suspects on my list. Is there anyone else? Anyone I don't know of that really, truly hated Diane?

Nikki: (Sighs) (Sighs heavily)

Billy: I looked at this every day when I was gone. I even talked to it sometimes.

Delia: (Chuckles)

Billy: (Whispers) Your daddy's crazy.

Delia: (Chuckles) I dreamt about you when you were gone, too. Once you were even dressed up as Santa.

Billy: (Normal voice) Well... (Grunts)

Chloe: Hey, Baby Girl, why don't, um, why don't you go upstairs and get that picture for Daddy that you made for him, yeah?

Billy: (Sniffs) (Sighs) So on a scale of 1 to "I can kill you," how mad are you?

Chloe: You got a gun?

Billy: Yeah, I know. I didn't--I didn't call. I didn't send flowers.

Chloe: I just kept on imagining all the empty seats at soccer games and, uh, graduation, her wedding, you not being there to walk her down the aisle. So I would, uh, I would just make myself feel better by just imagining you dead in a gutter and tell myself that you weren't the jerk who would just abandon his daughter like that.

Billy: I'm sorry, Chloe.

Chloe: You're sorry? You're sorry. You're a son of a bitch. And if I weren't so relieved to see you right now, I'd probably kill you.

Billy: (Chuckles) That mean you forgive me?

Chloe: No, I don't forgive you, but I'm happy that you're alive and that you didn't turn your back on your daughter.

Billy: I wouldn't let anything keep me from my daughter.

Ashley: Straight to voice mail. (Sighs)

Tucker: Well, Abby's probably so busy with Jabot business, she hasn't even heard yet.

Ashley: You know, I'm so annoyed that this murder investigation just keeps going on and on. And why are they questioning Victor again?

Tucker: He can handle Malloy's grilling.

Ashley: I guess we should both be grateful that Malloy didn't turn up on our honeymoon.

Tucker: It's nice to have the bull's-eye off our backs, huh?

Ashley: You know what? I'm so sorry about that. It was so silly, um, that I ever even inferred that you could have been involved in Diane's death somehow. It was just...

Tucker: That's all behind us.

Ashley: Yeah. (Sighs) I know you could never do anything like that. I'm gonna try Abby again, okay?

Michael: Victor doesn't need anyone to step in for him.

Adam: He's in police custody. Victoria resigned. Nicholas bailed months ago. That leaves me.

Michael: He'll be back.

Adam: Well, you know what they say-- while the cat's away...consider me the new top cat.

Genevieve: Kyle? Would you like to take the cat?

Kyle: Wait, home with me? What, to keep?

Genevieve: Well, sure. Why not? You--you two seem to really like each other.

Kyle: Is it okay, Dad?

Jack: (Sighs) Y-yeah, sure. Yeah.

Kyle: (Laughs) Thanks.

Genevieve: (Chuckles)

Kyle: I'm gonna call him... (Chuckles) Dave.

Jack: Dave. (Chuckles)

Kyle: (Chuckles)

Jack: Okay, why don't you take Dave very carefully out to the car? I'll be right there, all right?

Kyle: (Sighs)

Genevieve: (Chuckles)

Jack: You didn't have to do that.

Genevieve: I want to make you happy any way I can.

Nikki: I cannot do it without you.

Victor: You don't have to ever again.
