Phyllis: This is a complete bust. We're never gonna find this camera, Adam.
Adam: Yeah, with a little luck, the kid that Koa gave the camera to...
Adam: He could be around here, you know.
Phyllis: Well, that's considering Koa was telling the truth.
Adam: Well, how many guys, uh, who are handcuffed to your bed lie to you?
Phyllis: What--what-- what are--
Adam: You know what? I don't even want to know the answer to that question. Excuse me. Do you speak English?
Woman: A little.
Adam: Um, yeah, I'm-- I'm--I'm wondering, uh, do you know of--of a kid who might be selling electronics, like cameras?
Woman: Like cameras. (Gasps) Oh, try every other booth. (Chuckles)
Phyllis: Yeah. This is a bust.
Adam: What, are you "Nancy negative"? We have no other choice. This is the only hope that Sharon has.
Michael: There is quite a crowd out there. It took me ten minutes to get through the doors. I was almost tackled by a reporter for a story.
Victor: Crazy, isn't it? Fortunately, the judge only allowed a few journalists in the courtroom, no cameras.
Michael: You do understand your testimony will be a double-edged sword.
Michael: You funded Heather's campaign against the D.A. Walsh will be gunning for you.
Victor: Don't you think you're stating the obvious?
Michael: Well, you pay me a hefty retainer. I would feel remiss if I didn't do my utmost to protect you, and part of that is stating the obvious.
Victor: Yep. I was prepped.
Michael: By Vance? His allegiance is to Sharon. He's not going to protect you.
Michael: If I were the D.A., I would be salivating at getting you on the stand. You could make his career.
Victor: Or I can break it. There's no way I was not gonna show up today, okay? Sharon is innocent. I'm going to testify.
Spencer: Exhibit one-- a recording taken by a hiker on Kilauea volcano on the night of Skye Newman's murder.
Judge Salazar: Sustained.
Spencer: The night of Skye Newman's death... the hiker was shooting a video of lava and wasn't aware that she had picked up this conversation. The first voice you'll hear is that of the accused, Sharon Newman. The other is that of the deceased.
Sharon: Skye, he broke your heart. You don't ruin a man's entire life because of that.
Skye: Well, maybe you don't.
Sharon: You're not gonna get away with this.
Skye: You can't stop me.
Sharon: Oh, yes, I can.
(Volcano rumbles loudly)
Prim: Oh. Hello?
Jana: (American accent) Hi. This is Stella. I have the full medical report and the ultrasound that you requested. When can you meet?
Prim: How long will it take you to get here?
Jana: Well, I'm actually getting off of work right now.
Prim: I'll wait for you, hmm?
Daniel: Hey, Jana.
Jana: (Normal voice) Oh. (Sighs) Can't talk now. Sorry. I have to get Lucy home.
Daniel: Is something wrong?
Jana: No! No, everything's fine. It's just, um, it--it's really cold out here for the baby, so another time?
Daniel: Yeah, sure. Sure.
Jana: Right. Okay. Bye.
Lily: Well, thank you for breakfast.
Neil: Anytime. All right. Listen, I'm gonna go.
Daniel: Hey, guys.
Neil: Hey, look who it is. Handsome man. All right, I gotta run. I'll talk to you in a little bit.
Lily: All right, bye.
Daniel: Well-- do I smell funny or something?
Lily: Uh, not more than usual, why?
Daniel: Because everybody that I'm running into today seems to be turning around and running the opposite direction. I just saw Jana, and she--hmm.
Lily: Oh, yeah, yeah. She was in the book circle with Lucy. Lucy's getting so big.
Daniel: Yeah. I really don't want to think about that.
Lily: Why? Is something going on?
Daniel: (Chuckles) That's right. I haven't talked to you since I got back from Canada.
Lily: Wait, did you find Daisy?
Daniel: Yeah. And Michael decided to call the authorities and try and have her arrested.
Lily: Wow. So... Lucy and your secret?
Daniel: Mm, about that close to being blown straight to hell.
Nick: Hey. Thank you so much for babysitting.
Victoria: Of course.
Billy: No problem. It's the nanny's day off?
Nick: Oh, she had an appointment. I really wanted to get to the courthouse.
Victoria: Come here. Oh.
Billy: Yeah, I'm heading over there, too. I can't wait to see your dad take the stand.
Victoria: (Whispering indistinctly)
Billy: He never fails to put on a show, does he? (Babbling indistinctly)
(Cell phone rings)
Nick: It's Phyllis.
Billy: Will you tell her to answer her boss' calls, please?
Nick: (Chuckles) Yeah.
Victoria: Your hair's getting so long.
Nick: Hey. Where are you?
Phyllis: We're in Thailand. Listen, Summer has a field trip today. I forgot.
Nick: Yeah, permission slip was signed. Summer's already on the bus with the class.
Phyllis: Thank you.
Nick: When you coming home?
Phyllis: I don't know. (Whispering) Listen, um, we're working on a lead that could possibly clear Sharon, but honestly, it's a long shot. (Sighs)
Nick: Well, I don't normally cheer Adam on, but God knows Sharon could really use the help.
Lily: So you found Daisy and let her go?
Daniel: I couldn't let Michael bring her back to Genoa City. I mean, what if she figured out about Lucy, or what if she already knows? What if she tried to make problems for Billy and Victoria?
Lily: Well, are you sure that she'll even stay away? I mean, she likes to stir up trouble.
Daniel: Eh, all she cares about is her freedom. She's terrified of going back to jail.
Lily: (Sighs) Okay. Well, then, you know, I guess you did the right thing.
Daniel: I wish it felt like I did the right thing.
Victoria: Oh, good. You're back. I missed you. Well, hi!
Victoria: Oh, you're home. Come here.
Jana: Where's mommy?
Victoria: Come to your mama. Oh, my goodness. Oh, you're getting so big.
Jana: There you go.
Victoria: Did you have fun?
Jana: Yes, she did.
Victoria: Did you have fun at the bookstore?
Jana: She loved it.
Victoria: She did? (Gasps) Guess what? Your cousin Faith is here. She came to visit you, and she's upstairs sleeping in your room.
Victoria: Yes, she is.
Jana: Dear. (Laughs)
Jana: Well, nothing. I was just gonna, um... I was just gonna ask for a few hours off to run some errands really quickly.
Victoria: Oh. Um... well, yeah, that's fine. Take the whole day. I can handle both of them.
Jana: Yeah? Are you sure?
Jana: Oh, God, you're the best, really.
Jana: Thank you so much.
Victoria: No problem. It's fine.
Jana: Bye, Lucy.
Victoria: Bye-bye. Bye, Jana. Bye.
Neil: Whoa. Hey.
Jana: Hey, sorry.
Neil: Yeah, someone's in a hurry.
Victoria: Oh. Hi.
Neil: Hey. Look who it is! It's Uncle Neil.
Victoria: It's--yeah. It's Uncle Neil. Hi, Uncle Neil.
Victoria: How are you?
Neil: Listen, I brought over a belated christening gift for Lucy.
Neil: I'm sorry I didn't make it to the ceremony.
Victoria: No, that's okay.
Victoria: I mean, we missed you, of course.
Neil: Of course you did.
Victoria: Thank you. Good.
Neil: Well, let's take a look at Lucy.
Neil: What a beautiful little strawberry muffin head.
Victoria: I know.
Neil: Look at you. You look like your mama, don't you?
Victoria: Oh, thank you.
Neil: Yeah, you're gonna have to come over and visit with Charlie and Matilda one day.
Victoria: Oh, we'll definitely have to do that.
Victoria: Um... you know, I never really had the chance to thank you for coming forward at the arbitration.
Neil: Well, I had to follow my conscience.
Victoria: Yeah, well, it really helped sway the judge in our favor.
Neil: Yeah, that judge-- that judge awarded the three of you a big chunk of change, didn't he?
Victoria: Yes, he certainly did. (Sighs) I was a little bit surprised, though, by Dad's reaction.
Neil: Taking Newman public, right? What a shocker.
Victoria: What a shocker. He didn't have to do that. I mean, we offered to settle for Beauty of Nature.
Neil: Vicki, you know your dad.
Neil: He can be generous to a fault when he wants to be...
Neil: And don't you dare ever cross that man.
Victoria: Well, that is the truth.
Victoria: Why does he have to be that way?
Neil: 'Cause it's hardwired into him, that's why. But seriously, you will never get Beauty of Nature. You're just gonna have to let that one go.
Michael: We just need to be careful.
Man: Mr. Newman, they're ready for you.
Victor: Yes, Sir. Thank you.
Billy: So... (Sighs) Are you gonna tell Sharon about Phyllis and Adam chasing down a lead?
Nick: You know, I'd really rather not mention Adam's name to her ever again, especially since there's nothing concrete to tell her. And I'm kind of hoping Dad will be able to clear her name.
Billy: (Scoffs) Victor making a positive difference? That would be a miracle. (Clears throat)
Man: Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth?
Victor: I do.
Vance: Mr. Newman, you have been in the news quite a bit lately. Big changes in your company must be keeping you very busy.
Victor: It has, indeed.
Vance: And yet you found the time to come to me to request to testify on Sharon Newman's behalf. Isn't that so?
Victor: That is correct.
Vance: Why is it so important for you to be here?
Victor: Because I was in Hawaii the night that Skye Lockhart died, and I have some knowledge as to how that happened.
Vance: Really? Please share with all of us, won't you?
Victor: I was walking up or hiking up the side of a volcano when I heard two people arguing in the distance. I couldn't make them out by sight, but I certainly recognized their voices. It was Sharon and Skye Lockhart's.
Vance: Mm-hmm. Can you recall what they were saying?
Victor: I remember Sharon pleading with Skye Lockhart to please come back with her to Genoa City.
Skye: You are out of your mind if you think I'm going anywhere with you.
Sharon: I'll just take a picture of you and prove to everyone that I saw you and that you are alive.
Skye: Give me that!
Skye: Give--give me--aah!
Victor: It was very treacherous on that side of that volcano. And I assume that Skye Lockhart lost her footing.
Sharon: Try to grab my other hand.
Skye: It's stuck between the rocks. (Sobs)
Sharon: (Grunts) Skye, don't look down.
Victor: Sharon begged her to hold on, screaming at her, and then Skye Lockhart... with a resignation in her voice said she couldn't any longer. Um... and must have then stepped into--into the volcano. Uh, under no circumstances was Sharon responsible for that. She tried everything possible to help her.
Sharon: Skye, I am not gonna let you die.
Skye: (Sobbing) I wouldn't bet on it.
Sharon: (Breathing heavily) (Grunting) Skye! Aah! Oh, God!
Vance: "I'm not going to let you die"-- those are Sharon's exact words?
Victor: Those are exact words.
Vance: Mm-hmm. You've known the defendant for many years, haven't you?
Victor: Since she was a teenager.
Vance: Mm-hmm. How would you describe her?
Victor: She's kind, compassionate... I think a very good mother. Under no circumstances would she be capable of committing such a crime.
Victoria: (Sighs) Why should I be the one to let go? Hmm?
Neil: Hmm. Well, I know it's asking a lot. I do, because I've been there. You know, walking away from Newman wasn't very easy for me.
Victoria: Yeah. Do you have any regrets?
Neil: Honestly... I've never looked back. I gotta tell you, how I managed to stay with your father all those years with his strange behavior...
Neil: Mm. But the best thing that you can do right now is to create a lot of distance between you and your dad, 'cause I think you have it in you to build a brand-new successful company. So do it and--and just move on.
Victoria: (Sighs) I don't know. I mean, my heart's in Beauty of Nature, so if I can get it, you know, I have to try.
Neil: Well... wishing you the best.
Neil: Now... and in the meantime and between time, enjoy every second that you have with this little beauty.
Victoria: You know what?
Victoria: Lucy makes everything worth it. Honestly, I don't know what I would do without her.
Jana: (Sighs) (American accent) Doctor's report and ultrasound just like I promised.
Prim: Mm-hmm. It looks good. A healthy baby boy.
Jana: Boy, oh, boy. (Sighs) Does it matter that it's a boy? I mean, do most people like girls?
Prim: I'll have no problem in finding a home for him. Why don't you take a seat? We'll go over how this works, what I expect from you.
Jana: Oh, good. (Sighs) Because I have a lot of questions for you, too. Ooh. Yeah. Thank you.
Prim: There you go.
Jana: (Sighs) (Giggles)
Phyllis: Um... okay. Oh, excuse me. Excuse me. I-I-I'm looking, uh, for a camera, um, that belonged to a friend of ours.
Man: (Speaking Thai)
Phyllis: A camera? No? No? Okay, um, just a sec. Do you--this man, do you see this man? Have you seen him around? Okay. Uh, camera--camera like, um...
Adam: This. Like this.
Phyllis: Right. The--the camera. (Attempting to speak Thai) Camera? Yellow? Yellow? Lily-a?
Phyllis: Okay, sure. Thank you.
Adam: You know what? It's not here. It's not at this booth, all right? We got--we got one down and--
Phyllis: Hundreds to go! Hundreds to go, Adam.
Phyllis: (Sighs) (Sighs)
Adam: Just go.
Spencer: You seem to have a high regard for your ex-daughter-in-law.
Victor: I certainly do.
Spencer: Are you two very close? How do your two sons, her ex-husbands, feel about your relationship with Sharon? Do they ever get jealous?
Vance: Objection. Calls for speculation.
Victor: She's the mother of my grandchildren.
Judge Salazar: Sustained.
Spencer: What brought you to H-Hawaii, Mr. Newman?
Victor: It's a beautiful vacation spot, Mr. Walsh.
Spencer: Hmm. You expect us to believe you just happened to be in Hawaii hiking on Kilauea at the very moment Sharon confronted Skye?
Victor: Hiking on the side of a volcano when there's a new moon-- there's nothing like it.
Spencer: Were you behind the collapse of the Newman fund as part of a vendetta against your son Adam?
Spencer: Goes to Mrs. Newman's... motive.
Judge Salazar: Overruled. Answer the question, Mr. Newman.
Spencer: Were you responsible for the Newman fund crashing? Yes or no?
Victor: I invoke my rights under the fifth amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
Spencer: Mr. Newman...
Spencer: Is it true that you and Skye shared a mutual hatred for your son Adam and plotted against him?
Victor: I refuse to answer that question because it may incriminate me.
Spencer: Were you questioned by the authorities about your possible role in Skye's disappearance on the night the Newman fund collapsed?
Victor: I refuse to answer that question because it may incriminate me.
Spencer: Didn't you leave Genoa City on a private jet on an extended business trip that same night?
Victor: I refuse to answer that question--
Spencer: Did you fly Skye to Hawaii? Or what was your relationship with her? Wasn't the reason you were in Hawaii during Skye's death was to keep Sharon from discovering...
Spencer: Your participation in the scam to frame Adam...
Vance: Your honor...
Spencer: For murder.
Vance: The district attorney is harassing the witness.
Judge Salazar: Sustained. Mr. Walsh.
Spencer: No further questions.
Daniel: I don't feel like talking about me anymore. What's--what's going on with you?
Lily: Uh, not much.
Daniel: Any more sightings?
Lily: Yeah. Yesterday, I saw Cane standing in the elevator. He was staring at me as the doors were closing.
Daniel: Did you tell anyone?
Lily: No. My family thinks I'm crazy.
Daniel: Hey, hey, hey, hey. You are not crazy.
Lily: Right, yes, because everybody sees their dead husband.
Daniel: You know, Lily, I--you might not want to hear this, but I think that maybe-- may be a good idea if you went and--
Lily: Go and talk to a shrink?
Daniel: Yeah. No, look, not because--not-- not because of the sightings, but because of everything that you've been through. It's good to have someone to talk to.
Lily: Yeah, I talk to you.
Daniel: You--and you can always talk to me, but I'm your friend, all right? It'd be nice to get a professional's opinion. Plus you keep stuff bottled up.
Lily: Yeah, I know I do.
Daniel: Good. So you gotta let that out. No one should have to pretend nothing's wrong and hide what's really going on.
Lily: You mean, like what you do?
Daniel: I don't have a choice. It could ruin Lucy's life. I need to forget that Daisy and my little girl ever existed and pray that Michael does the same.
Vance: Mr. Newman?
Vance: You plead the fifth several times.
Victor: That is right, Mr. Abrams.
Vance: Mm-hmm. You could have lied.
Victor: But I swore to tell the truth.
Vance: Let's get back to what you heard that night in Hawaii. During the course of the argument, did Sharon ever threaten Skye's life?
Victor: Not once.
Vance: Would you describe the trail to the court?
Victor: It was very dark. There was a new moon. It was pitch-black and very sort of dangerous, treacherous ground to walk on, because when lava cools off, it leaves very sharp edges.
Victor: And then the paths one tried to walk on were full of these pebble-like pieces of lava, so it--it--it's almost impossible to, uh, to walk, to get a foothold, you know?
Vance: Sounds dangerous.
Victor: Very dangerous.
Vance: Did you lose your footing?
Victor: I stumbled a few times, yes.
Vance: So it's not inconceivable that Skye could have slipped?
Victor: Not at all.
Vance: So when Sharon grabbed Skye's hand to save her, did she ever threaten to let it go?
Victor: Not one single time. Sharon did everything in her power to save Skye Lockhart.
Vance: No further questions.
Victor: Thank you.
Judge Salazar: You may step down, Mr. Newman.
Victor: Thank you.
Judge Salazar: We'll take a recess. (Bangs gavel)
Billy: So much for your theory that your dad would actually help Sharon.
Vance: Every time Victor refused to answer, his credibility was put into question. The other jurors may believe he's lying about everything. I'll do what I can to straighten that out, but no guarantees.
Victor: Vance Abrams should have done far more to protect me.
Michael: You did the only thing you could. Let it go. You got your point across. That's what matters.
Victor: Let's hope, for Sharon's case, that will be so.
Prim: I have told you you've asked too many questions that are none of your business.
Jana: (American accent) But it is my business. I mean, I-I need to make sure that-- that my son is going to a good and--and loving home. (Sighs) Could you maybe tell me how you find these prospective parents?
Prim: Through referrals, mostly.
Jana: Are they wealthy?
Prim: They aren't poor. Let's talk about the baby's father.
Jana: How... how do I know that these are good parents? I mean, do they--do they see a psychiatrist? Do you physically go in their home and--and--and see them?
Prim: I take every precaution.
Jana: Are they placed locally or are they around the country?
Prim: If you're asking whether you'll see the baby again, the answer is no. I do closed adoptions.
Jana: But how can I make sure that my baby is going to a safe and loving home?
Prim: That's enough. I'll ask the questions now, okay? The baby's father-- does he know you're pregnant, hmm?
Jana: Oh. Oh! Oh, I'm feeling dizzy suddenly.
Prim: What's wrong?
Jana: Um... s--I-I think it's just blood-- blood sugar. It's low blood sugar. I think I need to eat something.
Prim: I-I have a protein bar in my car. I'll be right back. Okay?
Jana: (American accent) So how does this work exactly?
Prim: Simple-- you give me your baby, I give you 5 grand.
Jana: But, you see, I need to know where my baby's going.
Prim: To a good home.
Jana: You know, I'd love to take your word on that. But that's funny coming from a person who's conducting business in a golf shed.
Prim: You called for this meeting. Jana: Maybe if I could just meet the parents, you know, the ones who've adopted before? Maybe just talk to them--
Prim: I do private adoptions. Nobody talks to nobody.
Jana: How about a picture? I mean, you can't just expect me to hand over my baby to--to someone without knowing something about--about that person.
Prim: Get out.
Prim: I said, get out. Don't come back.
Jana: (Normal voice) Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God. (Sighs)
Neil: Well, hey, not to rush off, but, um, Lily's probably wondering where I am.
Victoria: Oh. How is Lily doing?
Neil: Lily... my baby. She puts on a brave front.
Neil: I don't really know what's going on with her, you know, these days. She's suffered so much. She just won't talk to me about it.
Victoria: Hmm. I'm sorry.
Victoria: Don't you wish there was a way we could protect our kids from all the bad stuff?
Neil: Oh, yeah.
Victoria: I mean, when I think about Reed being separated from me and how that might affect him, and then sometimes I look at Lucy, and I can't help it, but I feel a little bit sad, you know, because... I mean, she has Billy and me, but... (Sighs) She's never really gonna know her birth family.
Neil: Mm. Mama, Lucy is very lucky to have you and Billy as her parents.
Neil: Love certainly goes a long, long way.
Victoria: That's the truth. I wish my dad understood that.
Neil: Maybe he will someday, hmm?
Victoria: Hmm. Maybe.
Neil: Hmm. Hmm. Listen, I gotta go.
Victoria: Oh. (Sighs)
Neil: Um, you take very good care of yourself and that beautiful little angel of yours, all right?
Victoria: All right. Give Lily my best, okay?
Neil: All right. I sure will.
Neil: Take care.
Victoria: See ya.
Neil: Thanks for the tea.
Victoria: Oh, anytime.
Victoria: (Sighs) I will always... want to protect you.
Daniel: I am going to take off. Um, do you need a ride anywhere?
Lily: No, I'm gonna browse around still. My dad's coming to get me.
Daniel: Mm-hmm. Okay. Let me know if you make an appointment to talk to someone, 'cause I will go with you if you want, you know, drive you--moral support.
Lily: Mm-hmm. (Chuckles) Yeah, I'll call you. Um, thanks for the talk.
Daniel: Are you kidding me? I should be thanking you. Come here.
Daniel: Mm. (Grunts) See you later.
Lily: All right, bye.
Man: Lily Winters, the Fresh Face of Jabot?
Lily: (Laughs) Yeah, that was a long time ago.
Man: Oh. Ferris Rollins. I worked with Cane. I'm sorry to hear about his passing. He was a good man.
Lily: Oh, um... thank you.
Ferris: Oh, I hope I didn't upset you.
Lily: No. Not at all. No. Cane is never far from my thoughts.
Phyllis: Thank you anyway. Thank you.
Adam: Anything, Phyllis?
Phyllis: No. No. You? (Sighs)
Adam: Me? Why would I be asking you? If I knew something, I would--
Phyllis: Okay, listen, listen, listen. Knock it off. This is not my idea of fun either. Not my idea of pleasure. Not my idea of a good time.
Adam: I get it. I get your point.
Man: I hear you pay big money for a yellow camera.
Adam: Yeah, you have one?
Man: Maybe. Let's talk.
Adam: Let's go.
Phyllis: All right.
Billy: (Clicking pen) You can't win 'em all.
Nick: Thanks for taking the stand in there for Sharon. I know you did that for Noah and Faith.
Victor: I did that because it was the right thing to do.
Nick: Hey, tell me. Do you think Dad helped or hurt Sharon?
Michael: I'm not sure.
Nick: Be honest.
Michael: If I were Vance, I would start preparing Sharon for a possible guilty verdict. Short of time-traveling the jury back to the volcano, there's not really anything else you can do to help her.
Nick: Well, I'm not gonna give up.
Neil: Uh, there you go. Thank you so much.
Daniel: Oh, well, look who it is. You're just hitting up all the spots, huh?
Neil: Oh, yeah, I sure am. Lily's favorite cookies.
Daniel: Yeah, I just left her over at Trumble’s. (Sniffles) (Clears throat)
Neil: Hey, Daniel, thanks for spending so much time with her. You're a good friend.
Daniel: Well, she's a good friend to me, too. We've been kind of leaning on each other.
Neil: Well, I'm glad she has you to talk you, because she certainly won't say much to me.
Daniel: I'm the same way with my mom. You know, don't want her to worry. (Sniffles, clears throat)
Neil: Trust me, my man, she worries anyway.
Daniel: I'm sure she does. (Chuckles) Hey, you know, I don't know if Lily's gonna tell you or not, but we talked about her maybe seeing a therapist.
Neil: Really? Did she, uh, agree to it?
Daniel: She didn't say no.
Neil: I really hope she goes through with it. You know, sometimes it helps to talk to someone who doesn't have such an emotional stake in your life. Trust me, I've had my own share of demons in mine. I wish there was something we could do for her, but we can't. This is something that she's gonna have to do for herself.
Daniel: Yeah. Hopefully, she'll figure out whatever's haunting her.
Lily: Okay. Um, I'm sorry. I-I must have put this here by mistake.
Woman: Are you buying it?
Lily: Yes. Um... yes, I-I'll take it.
Jana: (Breathing heavily)
Jana: Come on. Hurry.
Jana: Okay. Shoot! Oh, come on. Oh, damn.
Prim: What do you think you're doing?!
Adam: This whole thing turned out to be a big waste of time.
Phyllis: It doesn't matter what country you live in or what language you speak. There's always someone who wants to fleece a tourist.
Adam: Did that guy really think that I was stupid enough to give him cash and wait on the street corner for him to come back?
Phyllis: You scared the hell out of him. You truly scared the hell out of him.
Adam: It was a punk move. I'm not gonna stand there and give him money and wait for him to--
Phyllis: Listen, you go over there. I'll take this row, and--we'll we'll meet up--
Adam: I don't know if we're ever gonna find this yellow camera.
Phyllis: Oh, Nancy negative. Nancy negative. No, we're--
Boy: Looking for this?
Victoria: Huh? She's...
Billy: Hey, hey. Daddy's home.
Victoria: Oh, thank God you're home. Oh, thank God.
Billy: I am home. I am home.
Victoria: How did it go?
Billy: Uh, interesting. When the D.A. asked Victor if he helped Skye stage a murder...
Victoria: Look who it is.
Billy: To help set up Adam, he plead the fifth. Hello.
Victoria: Oh, yeah, of course he did.
Billy: Yeah. What's that?
Victoria: Oh, well, Neil stopped by with a christening gift for Lucy.
Billy: Ah. More loot for Lucy!
Victoria: That's right.
Billy: More loot for Lucy.
Victoria: And, you know, we actually had a really nice conversation.
Victoria: Yeah, he thinks that I should forget about Beauty of Nature and cut all ties with Dad.
Billy: Ah, that's a smart man.
Victoria: (Sighs) Well, I wish that it was that simple...
Victoria: But it's really not that simple.
Billy: Hey, hey, hey.
Billy: Can we save that conversation for another time? We've got company. Lucy, you want to play your favorite animal sounds for faith, hmm? Crank it up. Crank it up.
Victoria: Animal sounds? Okay.
Billy: We got some--how does it go? How does a tiger go? Does it go...? (Growls)
Victoria: That's a tiger?
Billy: How about a wolf? (Howls) No? (Laughs)
Victoria: I think you're scaring them.
Michael: (Sighs) Um... something's been bothering me about our trip to Canada. (Chuckles) Why did you really let Daisy go?
Prim: Why are you snooping through my files?!
Jana: (American accent) I've just heard so many unscrupulous stories about baby brokers who take advantage of pregnant women like me. And I just needed to make sure that my baby is going to a good home. I needed to make sure you were legit.
Prim: I'm beginning to wonder the same thing about you, Stella.
Jana: Stay off. Get off. Get off! Just stay off me!
Prim: I knew there was something off about you!
Neil: Hey. You ready?
Lily: Um, yeah. One second.
Neil: I, uh, I ran into Daniel at Crimson Lights. He told me that you were thinking about getting professional help.
Lily: Yeah. I mean, I-I know I freaked out when Aunt Liv mentioned it, but I don't know, maybe you guys are right. Maybe I do need to find better ways to cope.
Neil: I think that's an excellent idea.
Lily: You know I'm not crazy, right?
Neil: Of course. No, I-I never thought you were.
Lily: Because I've been seeing visions of Cane since he died, and there are times when I think he's trying to communicate with me. And, at first, I thought it was just my imagination, but now I'm realizing that these things I'm seeing are real. I mean, you believe me, don't you?
Neil: Of course I believe you. Baby, it's gonna be all right.
Victor: You're some hotshot attorney, aren't you, hmm?
Vance: I work the material I'm given.
Victor: I'm the only witness to Skye Lockhart's death. You should have done a much better job at damage control in redirect.
Vance: You refused to answer questions. Your veracity is in doubt, and the jury knows you have something to hide.
Victor: The Newman fund has nothing to do with Sharon's case, okay?
Vance: If you think you came across looking bad, you have no one to blame but yourself.
Victor: You're as lousy an attorney as you are a human being.
Sharon: What a mess, huh?
Nick: It's not over yet.
Sharon: My attorney says, um... it doesn't look good.
Sharon: Nick, I'm going to prison. Faith's gonna grow up without a mother. She's--her first memories of me are gonna be... seeing me behind bars.
Nick: No, no, no, no. You don't know that.
Sharon: Yes, I do. I do. Nick, every turn in this case has gone against me. All the evidence that we've had has been useless, so please don't ask me to hold on to hope when there is none.
Nick: There is hope, okay? Look, Phyllis tracked down Adam in Thailand. You were right. He went there chasing a lead. Phyllis said they're close to proving your innocence.
Adam: Are we good?
Boy: It all yours.
Phyllis: Good. Oh, good!
Adam: Thank you. Okay, about time something good happened. Yeah, watch this.
Phyllis: How lucky! Right in our hands. How lucky are we?
Adam: Look, Sharon caught everything on camera.
Phyllis: Okay, viewing mode. Viewing--right there.
Adam: Yes, it's in viewing mode.
Phyllis: Right there. Okay.
Adam: Here. No, it says, "Memory contains no images."
Phyllis: Well, okay, well, the battery--the light is on so the battery--
Adam: The battery works. It's on. Unless...
Phyllis: I know! It--the light is on. I know the battery is on.
Adam: The memory card's gone. It's empty.
Next on "The Young and the Restless"...
Chloe: Mother to mother, our children are not safe with her. You need to fire her.
Michael: I just can't help but think you didn't want us to catch her.
Vance: Our witnesses have been shredded. We don't have a choice.
Nick: So are you saying there's nothing you can do?
