Victor: What is going on at Jabot that has you so upset?

Ashley: Where do I even begin?

Victor: This dealing with the new owner mustn't be easy. Especially since your company was in your family's hands from the beginning.

Ashley: See, that's just it. So many things have happened without my knowledge, and now I feel like I'm backed into this corner.

Victor: I know what you're gonna say. I know what you wanna talk about. This is about Jack, isn't it?

Jack: Have you seen the report on profits for our NVP retreats?

Nikki: I read it yesterday.

Jack: I'm surprised you're not doing back flips. The figures coming in from our Caribbean retreat are off the charts.

Jack: All the other retreats are doing well also.

Nikki: Well, too bad my investment in Jabot is plummeting.

Jack: Ah, so that's what's got you n -- Jabot holiday sales.

Nikki: They were far short of expectations.

Jack: Hey, every year can't be a banner year.

Nikki: Yeah, I guess not. It doesn't seem to bother you at all.

Jack: I always want the company my father built to succeed.

Jack: I have tried working with this new regime. I failed. Sometimes, you have to accept the inevitable and let go.

JT: So you're really going through with this?

Colleen: I have to.

JT: Why? Why? That's--I don't understand how it got to this point.

Colleen: Well, it's quite simple, actually. Um, I'm sick of fighting. I think that we should take a break, so I'm moving out.

JT: You know, I'm sick of fighting, too, but that's what couples do. They argue.

Colleen: And they also break up. Which is what we're doing.

JT: Yeah, look, listen, I understand that we have things we gotta work on.

Colleen: Actually, we don't anymore.

JT: Because you won't tell me what the problem is.

Colleen: Well, what good is that gonna do now?

JT: You know, I'm trying to understand how this has happened, you know? You haven't been the same for weeks. One minute you're-- you're fine. The next minute you're freaking out on me. After everything we've been through, I deserve to know why. So tell me. Please.

Brad: Thank you.

Brad: Excuse me.

Nick: You sure you don't want anything?

Phyllis: No, we just came by to see Daddy.

Nick: Its perfect timing.

Phyllis: Why is that?

Nick: I could use some friendly faces after the way Dad just blasted me.

Phyllis: About Brad?

Nick: Yeah, he made it very clear how disappointed he was that I didn't confide him

Phyllis: And if he finds out that you're still holding back...

Nick: I don't even wanna think about that.

Phyllis: You know, he probably thinks you betrayed him-- just like I did.

Nick: Well, you know, you, uh... you got over it and forgave me. Right?

Phyllis: Yeah. Right.

Nick: Maybe my dad'll forgive me someday. I donít know maybe in like a hundred years? I was an idiot for letting Brad convince me I should keep quiet to protect my family. 'Cause all I did was let you and my father down.

Ashley: Uh, yeah... this is about Jack. There's something you need to know.

Victor: Ashley, listen to me. I know this has been a very tough year for you. With your father's passing, and Katherine selling Jabot.

Ashley: But the final straw was when Jack cut the tie-in with NVP.

Victor: That was quite a setback.

Ashley: It was awful, what he did to Jabot and NVP and for what?

Victor: You think he overreacted?

Ashley: Yes. It was a very, very bad decision.

Victor: Well, what can I say? Jack does what he does. That has always been thus. He doesn't care what the consequences are.

Ashley: But I hope you know that I'm not responsible for his actions. And unfortunately, I have no influence over him whatsoever.

Victor: You know, I firmly believe that a man must find his own path. I think Jack has found his.

Ashley: Victor, that's what I need to talk to you about.

Victor: You do not need to intervene on his behalf. He has made his choices.

Ashley: I am obligated to explain to something to you. Just hear me out.

Victor: Before you go any further, I think you should be discussing this with your brother Jack.

Ashley: Victor, it involves you. Because you respect Jack and you trust him.

Victor: Ashley, Jack does what he does, all right? As far as I'm concerned, he's not doing a bad job running NVP.

Ashley: This has nothing to do with NVP.

Victor: Sweetheart, you know the kind of stress that I've been subject to this past year with my health and all that? I don't wanna deal with any of this. You know?

Ashley: I understand.

Victor: You win some money, lose some money. Sometimes you're outmaneuvered in business. Who cares? I don't wanna worry about that kind of stuff anymore.

Ashley: Well, I don't wanna do anything that would harm you.

Victor: I know you don't. Try to do as I do. Try to find some balance in your life. Try to look for the positive, for the good. Don't concentrate on the negative. The sooner you do that, the sooner you'll find inner peace.

Ashley: That's good advice.

Ashley: Okay.

Ashley: Bye.

Phyllis: All right, listen to me. I can't stay mad at you. You're a hero. You saved Sharon.

Nick: Try telling that to my dad. All he could talk about was how I messed up because I didn't bring him in somehow to help.

Phyllis: How could he help? By consulting his guru?

Nick: You know, I even brought up the fact that his state of mind at the time was a little... dicey. He said that was just an excuse.

Phyllis: You said that to him?

Nick: Yeah.

Phyllis: He's such a hypocrite. I don't believe he's doing this. How many times has he gone behind your back or Nikki's? It's amazing. I mean, he's not above lying to suit his own purpose. At about the time he was bribing all those retailers just to screw over Jabot? Not to mention, all the time he sabotaged Victoria's relationships because he didn't like the guy.

Nick: Well, it won't do any good to point any of that out, because apparently, what I did is ten times worse.

Phyllis: Really? It is, huh? Let me see... um, bribery conviction... keeping your mouth shut to protect people... wow. You're going to hell.

Nick: You're probably right.

Phyllis: And you know what? He better knock it off, because the only person who is allowed to criticize you me.

Nick: Spoken like a loyal wife.

Phyllis: Yeah. And I'm gonna let you off the hook. I'm not gonna give you any more grief about this.

Nick: All right. 'Cause you were pretty upset with me.

Phyllis: Yeah, but that was before I realized your heart was in the right place.

Nick: Just knowing that you believe in me again-- that's all I need.

JT: What have I done, Colleen? What's changed?

[Colleen remembering different times with Korbel]

Korbel: You okay?

Colleen: I'm sorry.

Korbel: No, don't be.

Colleen: No, I don't know what's wrong. I normally don't do things like that.

Korbel: They may not be the best Americanos you've ever had, but they'll do.

Colleen: You didn't have to buy me coffee.

Korbel: It's a book ... about the Grugeons. Chock full of arcane detail.

Colleen: Wow.

Colleen: Wow, this is... awesome. I... I don't even know what to say.

Korbel: You welcome.

JT: Colleen?

Colleen: Sorry, what?

JT: See, that's what I'm talking about! Even when we're together sometimes, it's like you're... it's like you're not here. You're someplace else.

Colleen: I'm sorry. I just don't understand the point of getting into a conversation that's just gonna upset us.

JT: Wait, what are you so afraid of, huh? What are you so afraid of?

Colleen: I just don't see the point, JT it's not worth it.

JT: You know, when we first got together, you always told me exactly what you thought. Even when I didn't wanna hear it. Hell, you even told me what I should be thinking. Look at me. Look at me. I need to know what's going on. You owe me that much.

Colleen: I, um... I can't.

JT: Why not?

Colleen: Because I don't know how to tell you.

JT: Tell me what?

Colleen: I just don't know what I want anymore. I don't even know if I want us.

Brad: Hey, I'm glad I caught you. Come with me.

Victoria: I have a meeting.

Brad: The meeting can wait.

Victoria: What's going on? What is it?

Brad: I think I'm being followed.

Victoria: Wait... what are you talking about?

Brad: I was just at the coffeehouse getting something to-go, and I had the strongest feeling I was being watched.

Victoria: Maybe you overreacting.

Brad: Well, I was hoping so. But when I was driving back here, I saw a car behind me. And I swear it was the same car I saw on the way over.

Victoria: Did you get a look at who was in it?

Brad: No. Too far back.

Victoria: So then you don't know for sure if you're being followed. I mean, it could be a coincidence. It could be two cars that look alike.

Brad: Yeah, well, it's possible. But over the years, I have developed some very strong instincts about these kinds of things. And my instincts are telling me something's off.

Victoria: Do you think this could have to do with Carmen's murder?

Brad: I doubt it.

Victoria: Are you thinking... are you thinking that my father's behind it?

Brad: Well, either that, or by the time we told him the truth and he called off the investigation, it was too late.

Victoria: Too late?

Brad: He may have tipped somebody off, Victoria. And they could be coming after us.

Victoria: Brad... I really don't think that we have to worry--

Brad: Well, that's just my point. We don't know what to think. And until we do, I don't want you leaving this building without me.

JT: You don't know, meaning..... meaning, you're not sure, but you're outta here anyway? Which makes a lot of sense, Colleen. That makes a lot of sense.

Colleen: Well, see, you're even more upset now. I don't wanna keep going on and on about it.

JT: You are leaving without even trying to make things right I don't understand that, Colleen!

Colleen: Why can't you just see that I'm confused? I really am right now. And I think its better we take a break what the hell is so us I'm still... the same amazing guy I've always been, right?

Colleen: JT, don't. Don't, please, do. don't.

JT: Don't what? Don't touch you? What, am I suddenly repulsive to you?

Colleen: No, don't be stupid! Come on!

JT: No, I'm just-- I'm trying to make sense of this, you know? I mean, one minute I'm the love of your life, and the next minute you want nothing to do with me!

Colleen: I didn't say that.

JT: No, no, but you're here. And that pretty much says it all, doesn't it?

Colleen: Okay, you stop!

JT: No, I wanna know what's wrong.

JT: Oh, don't give me that! Don't give me! All you do is yell at me-- get mad at me.

Colleen: Okay, fine. I have told you for months-- for months now-- I can't deal with this.

JT: Just what this is about! You're still mad at me for sleeping with Victoria which is unfair, because it had nothing to do anything. We weren't even together then!

Colleen: I don't even care about that anymore!

JT: I don't believe you! I don't believe you.

Colleen: I don't wanna talk about this anymore. I don't wanna keep going over this. I just wanna get outta here. No, stop.

JT: Come on.

Colleen: No, we are not going to make up and have sex. No.

JT: Let's have sex and not make up.

Nick: You sure you don't want me to watch Summer while you go have your meeting with Jack?

Phyllis: No, no. Have baby, will travel.

Nick: You know you're taking her into the lion's den, right

Phyllis: I'm hoping the lion's a pussycat.

Phyllis: That's right. I hoping those aren't just words.

Nick: You don't sound very sure.

Phyllis: Oh, well, maybe Jack was just feeling warm and fuzzy that day.

Nick: You know, I hope this translates into business with NVP. Let's see. There's nothing in here.

Nick: It's okay. We'll get more. I wouldn't worry about it. Your--your ideas for the new campaign kick butt. He'd be a fool not to sign off on them.

Phyllis: Yeah?

Nick: Yeah.

Phyllis: I hope Jack's having a good day.

Jack: Hey. You don't look so good.

Ashley: Neither will you when I tell you what just happened.

Jack: What?

Ashley: I ran into Victor.

Jack: Oh, don't tell me, he sucked you into an hour of Japanese flower arranging.

Ashley: No, it's not what he did. It's what I almost did.

Jack: Please don't tell me--

Ashley: I came this close to telling about Jabot.

Nikki: Are you sure that's what she was leading up to?

Victor: Well, I had to do some fast-talking to keep her from blurting it out.

Nikki: If she had told you Jack owned Jabot, that would've ruined all your plans.

Victor: Right. And for me to get even with that man, I need the trump card in my pocket.

Nikki: So much for the Abbott loyalty.

Victor: Come on. It wasn't easy for her to come to me, tell me all that. She was in pain.

Nikki: What are you saying? That Ashley's now a saint for filly attempting to be honest??

Victor: What I'm saying is that Jack put her in a rather difficult situation.

Nikki: Well, you realize that this is just a temporary solution.

Victor: What do you mean by that?

Nikki: Well, you were able to stop her from confessing all this time. But what about the next time she gets a case of the guilts and wants to tell you everything?

Jack: So now I have Victor to thank for keeping your mouth shut?

Ashley: I told you I couldn't do this anymore.

Jack: Listen to the man. He gave you good advice. You stay outta my way.

Jack: Everything I have done, I have done for our family.

Ashley: You did it for you. It was what Jack wanted. It was what Jack needed. You never cared about what I wanted.

Jack: Oh, come on, you don't really believe that.

Ashley: I believe you're selfish. I believe you have no ethics. You lie as easily as you breathe now.

Jack: Well, it's nice to know how highly you think of me.

Ashley: Don't give 't the wounded look, Jack. You know what I think? I think... you manipulated our father into changing his will.

Jack: Now wait a minute.

Ashley: And I know you manipulated Victor to get the money to buy Jabot. And I only found out about it after the deal was done.

Jack: I did that to protect you!

Ashley: I wish you were protecting me! But, instead, you pulled me into your stupid conspiracy. And I resent you for that.

Jack: You would've resented a lot more if some random corporation had bought dad's company and wreaked havoc with his work. Why can't you understand that?

Ashley: I wonder... I really do, how far would you go to keep your secret?

Jack: What are you talking about now?

Ashley: What would you do if I told you I was gonna march into Victor's office and tell him the truth? What would you do to try to stop me?

Jack: Okay, now you're being ridiculous.

Ashley: Am I? Carmen found out. And not long after, she turned up dead in an alley.

Jack: Sis, I know you're upset with me, but I am not capable of murder.

Ashley: That's the whole point, Jack. I don't know what you're capable of anymore.

Jack: You have lost it.

Ashley: Have I? The police have lost it too have they?

Jack: All of which can be explained.

Ashley: And when Carmen found out the truth about Jabot, you paid her off.

Jack: Tell me this. Why would I pay her all that money, if I was gonna kill her?

Ashley: I don't know. Maybe she decided it wasn't enough. Or she didn't like her-- her position in Hong Kong. Or she told you that she was gonna go public if you didn't give her more money!

Jack: Ash, now wait a minute!

Ashley: But you couldn't let that happen, could you?!

[Jack remembering]

Carmen: Jack?

Jack: What, you don't answer your cell phone anymore?

Carmen: I told you. I don't feel like moving to Hong Kong. I like it here.

Jack: By "here," you mean the United States.

Carmen: I mean Genoa City. Plus, why would I leave.

Jack: I don't think you know how much Jabot means to me.

Carmen: Oh, I do. That's why I'm staying.

Jack: You think you can blackmail me?

Carmen: That's such an ugly word--"blackmail." Think of me as your silent partner.

Jack: Ashley, please believe me. I had nothing to do with Carmen's murder.

Ashley: Okay, Jack. So you're not a killer. I still don't know who you are. Because you're not the brother that I know and love. And it breaks my heart... to see what you've become.

Jack: Well, if it's so damned difficult to be around me, you do have an option, you know?

Ashley: Yeah, I know. I could just pack my bag and move to Hong Kong.

Jack: It's the only way for you not to watch my moral decline.

Ashley: That certainly makes your life easier if I'm thousands of miles away doesnít it?

Ashley: The fact that you take this so lightly just disgusts me!

Jack: Wait, wait, wait, what are you going to do?

Ashley: I'm not gonna cover for you anymore! And I'm damn sure not gonna be your puppet anymore!

Jack: Look, I cannot turn this around overnight. I need some time, okay? Just promise me you won't do anything drastic like you almost did today with Victor.

Victor: Do you want to meditate with me?

Nikki: Victor, no, I can't meditate right now. I've got too much spinning around in my head.

Victor: Well, my baby, that's when you need it the when the mind is scattered. Brings such focus.

Nikki: No, I can't focus. I'm too upset. I'm upset with Jack for putting us in this position. I am upset with Ashley for making it worse. She and I have something in common now.

Victor: What is that?

Nikki: We hate Jack for what he's done to Jabot.

Victor: You and the shareholders.

Nikki: You know, if I didn't know any better, I would think that he is deliberately trying to ruin Jabot. At first, he mishandles it. And now he just pulls out the tie-in. He just pulls it. Have you any idea how overstocked we are?

Victor: That's what Ashley mentioned to me.

Nikki: It's just terrible for morale. Everybody is heartsick.

Victor: This time Jack has pushed his sister too far.

Nikki: I guess so, for her to come to you. So what are you gonna do the next time she wants to come to you with the truth?

Victor: You know, you really should try meditation. It just makes everything so clear.

Nikki: Well... I guess you have a plan.

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Nikki: That's good.

Phyllis: Wow.

Jack: Wow, what?

Phyllis: I've seen you look like you've been having a bad day before, but...

Jack: It just gets old sometimes, you know?

Phyllis: Well, I have a cure for that.

Jack: Hey! Hey, there! It's Uncle Jack, remember me? You are such a pretty little girl. I'm so glad you came to sit me. The world can't be all that bad with people like you in it.

Nick: I've been looking for you.

Brad: Not now, Nick.

Nick: Yes, now.

Brad: What is so important that it can't wait?

Nick: I told Phyllis everything.

Brad: You what?!

Nick: Everything. Including the fact that you killed two men and the rest of us have been covering for you.

Brad: Are you completely insane? Do you realize the danger you put Phyllis in?

Nick: I had to take the chance.

Brad: You had to take that chance? So now there's another way for the information to get out? Which is exactly why I didn't tell Victor what really happened with the kidnappers.

Nick: Phyllis isn't gonna say anything.

Brad: Are you kidding me? You don't know that!

Nick: It was the right thing to do, all right? Phyllis was asking. And she means a hell of a lot more to me than your secret past.

Brad: We agreed to stick to the story, Nick. We all agreed!

Nick: I did what I had had to do. Besides, I hated lying to my wife and I'm not gonna do it anymore.

Phyllis: Well, now that I've turned you into a blubbering mass of baby love, we should-- we should get back to work.

Jack: Yeah.

Phyllis: Yeah.

Jack: If we must.

Phyllis: Yeah. Okay, so, um, I have some new ideas for, uh, the NVP Ad campaign, all right?

Jack: Ooh, um, you're not supposed to see that.

Phyllis: What?

Jack: Don't.

Phyllis: Ah! What is that?

Jack: That's, uh... oh, it's a crib and a stroller and some other things.

Phyllis: Why?

Jack: I'm setting up a nursery for Summer. Since you won't take the proper maternity leave, I thought it might be easier to work with her here.

Phyllis: Jack... you did that for me? That's so sweet.

Jack: Oh, don't start getting all soft on me.

Phyllis: I can't believe that. Thank you. Thank you.

Jack: So...

Phyllis: Let's get back to business! Okay!

Jack: About this next campaign--

Phyllis: Right, right, right, okay, so, I wanna go first, please?

Jack: Okay.

Phyllis: Okay. And just hear me out. Don't scream and yell until you've heard my ideas. You'll wake up the baby.

Jack: I'm listening.

Phyllis: All right. Good. So, um...um I'll start off with this. I know that you didn't like my image for Sharon last time.

Jack: You were right and I was wrong. Obviously, that ad campaign is doing great for Jabot. Let's do the same thing with NVP.

Phyllis: Oh. I just... I didn't expect you to say that.

Jack: Well, it may take me some time, but when I finally see a good thing, I embrace it.

Phyllis: Great. You are so relaxed and mellow about this. Thank I guess it's all the-- the baby hormones flying all over the place.

Jack: You know, despite all our differences, I have always respected your drive and determination. It's one of the things I lov-- one of the things I admire about you. Anyway, the floor is yours. I wanna hear what you have in mind.

Colleen: I cannot believe we just did that.

JT: Oh, I can. Felt pretty real to me.

Colleen: No, JT, that is not something to make a joke about.

JT: What, that we just made love?

Colleen: That was not love. That was sex.

JT: It was still good.

Colleen: I never should've let it happen.

JT: You don't hear me complaining, do you?

Colleen: I'm gonna go take a shower.

Victor: I hope I didn't drag you away from something important.

Ashley: The only important thing in my life right now is my daughter.

Victor: Uh-huh. And she's very sensitive to you.

Ashley: Why am I here?

Victor: I didn't like the fact that you were so upset earlier. You shouldn't let Jack push you to that degree.

Ashley: Yeah, that's advice not easily taken.

Victor: I have a solution.

Ashley: You want me to put a contract on my brother? I have to draw the line there.

Victor: Maybe a change of scenery? Didn't someone suggest that you go overseas to solve the company's problems personally?

Ashley: You're talking about the Hong Kong trip?

Victor: Mm-hmm. The center of all Jabot's Asian connections. Besides that is where The House of Kim is located. That will solve a lot of problems, wouldn't it?

Ashley: Victor, there's something I was trying to tell you earlier. Maybe now you'll listen to me. Please?

Victor: I'm not only asking it for your sake. Nikki and I are shareholders in the company. We would like someone over there who will solve problems that we trust.

Ashley: Moving out of the country even if it's only temporary... I don't know.

Victor: Would you do it for me personally, if I asked you to do me a favor?

Nick: Hey.

Phyllis: Hey.

Nick: How'd your meeting Jack go?

Phyllis: Perfect.

Nick: You being sarcastic.

Phyllis: No, no, I'm not. He thinks my ideas are perfect for the new ad campaign.

Nick: Really?

Phyllis: Uh-huh. And, uh, he want.. he wants to put a nursery in the building for Summer. I saw the guys delivering the furniture.

Nick: You sure it was Jack?

Phyllis: Yeah, I've never seen an android so lifelike.

Nick: Was he hit by lightning or something?

Phyllis: I didn't smell anything burning.

Nick: Personality transplant? What is it?

Phyllis: I mean, maybe that midwife/elevator thing-- maybe that turned him into a softie.

Nick: You think it's for real?

Phyllis: I don't know. I mean, Jack is sneaky. And he's scammed me in the past. But I think he was sincere.

Nick: Huh.

Phyllis: I mean, I'm not saying Jack's an angel. Definitely not but I just think that outer shell is starting to crack.

Nick: If you say so. Oh, and just so you know, I told Brad you know everything that happened.

Phyllis: How'd that go?

Nick: How do you think it went?

Brad: You should've seen him! He just waltzed in here and announced that he told Phyllis I'd killed two men.

Victoria: Brad-- Brad, calm down.

Brad: Don't tell me to calm down.

Victoria: You're overreacting.

Brad: Overreacting? How could you say that?

Brad: It not bad enough we have Victor's interference. That may have stirred up trouble. Now Nick has to open his big mouth!

Victoria: Don't insult my family!

Brad: What, you're defending him?

Victoria: The only reason that my father or Nicholas or anyone is in this mess right now is because of you! So just back off, all right? They're dealing with this the best way that they can!

Brad: Well... I'm glad to know whose side you're on.

Victoria: I told you I would stand by you and I will. But don't make me choose between you and my family. Or we're gonna have a real problem.

JT: Stay. Please? Unless it's not what you want.

Colleen: I already told you--

JT: Yeah, yeah, I know. You don't know what you want. But if all I do is make you miserable, then I won't keep trying to change your mind.

Colleen: You won't?

JT: No, I'll even help you pack.

Colleen: I've been acting like a crazy person lately, haven't I?

JT: It's cool. It's cool. Whatever you decide, it's, uh... we're good.

Colleen: Do you mean that?

JT: Yeah, I do. You need to do what makes you happy. And if I don't... well... sad as it will be to lose you, you should go.

Ashley: Take a break.

Jack: Why should I?

Ashley: I've made a decision.

Jack: What, are you gonna stick the knife in a little further?

Ashley: Are you gonna listen or what?

Jack: You sure you wanna close that door? I am a stone cold killer.

Ashley: Shut up, Jack. This is important.

Jack: Okay, so spit it out.

Ashley: I've decided to go Asia.

Nikki: How on earth did you convince Ashley to take this position?

Victor: She told me earlier that someone suggested she go to Hong Kong to deal with the overstock situation.

Nikki: What about her precious lab? What about her family?

Victor: Well, what about her family? The only one who's left really is Jack. She's disillusioned with him, so it might be a good thing.

Nikki: It seems very odd to me. What about Abby?

Victor: Her leaving upsets me. Maybe she'll go with her mother. Or perhaps, stay with Brad.

Nikki: But to just pick up and move thousands of miles away-- it... I don't know. I mean, you can be very persuasive when you want to be, but I think there's gotta be more to it.

Victor: I asked her to do me a personal favor.

Nikki: Well, we all know that she would tie herself to a railroad track for you.

Victor: I told her that you and I wanted someone over there that we could trust that would solve the problems.

Nikki: Well, considering the fact that she's been lying to you... maybe she welcomes the opportunity to be away from your scrutiny.

Victor: Mmm.

Nikki: In any event, you did it. And I'm very happy about that.

Victor: And now I'm gonna concentrate on taking Jack Abbott down... without his sister as interference.

Nick: Excuse me. Thanks. Hey, Sis, if you wanna go over those projections now, I'm pretty sure Summer will stay asleep.

Victoria: How could you, Nicholas?

Nick: You don't get to yell at me for being straight with my wife. And if you try, I'm outta here.

Victoria: What the hell were you thinking?

Nick: Did you hear what I said? I'm not having this discussion with you. I already had it with Brad.

Victoria: Fine. Fine. But telling Phyllis was really stupid. And you better hope that it doesn't come back on us. Because if it does, I don't even wanna know what that might mean.

Phyllis: I hear you're not too pleased with my husband.

Brad: Do you fully appreciate what's at stake here?

Phyllis: I understand that you put a lot of people in danger to protect yourself.

Brad: It's a little more complicated than that.

Phyllis: You screwed over everybody who was in that church with you.

Brad: I don't need to explain myself to you, Phyllis.

Phyllis: No, you donít. We're in-laws. We're not related. Meaning, maybe the Newmans can get past what you did, but I won't.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Victoria: Brad knows what he's doing.

Victor: The point is, I don't know what Brad is doing.
