Ashley: Thanks for coming by.

Olivia: Well, are you okay? You sounded upset on the phone.

Ashley: I'm not sure what I'm feeling. You know, I'm probably getting all worked up over nothing. But I need you to tell me that I am overreacting.

Olivia: Okay. Why don't you tell me what it is first? I'll see if I can help.

Ashley: Brad left me this.

Olivia: "Ashley, I want to spend some time with my daughter before we embark on this disastrous idea and I lose her forever. Brad." What's he talking about?

Ashley: I don't really know. I mean, I called, um, Abbyís day camp, and Brad never dropped her off. And he's not answering his cell. Now he could just want to spend the day with Abby before Victor starts his unsupervised visits, but why wouldn't he just tell me that? I'm being silly, right? Right? I mean, I'm making too much of this. Nothing to worry about, right?

Olivia: I disagree, Ashley. I think you should be very worried.

Nikki: Wait.

Nick: Come on. Somebody throw it to me.

Nikki: Okay.

Nick: Nice. There you go. There you go. There you go. Ah, psych. Hey, you okay?

Sharon: Yeah, hon. I'm better than okay.

Nick: You know, I'm proud of you. Not many women could have gone through what you did and still manage to smile.

Sharon: Well, with my husband spider-man to the rescue, how could I do anything but smile?

Michael: Oh. Romance--ain't it grand?

Nick: Nice suit.

Michael: Thank you. Nice... whatever. Anyway, I've got good news. Uh, Cameron Kirsten is in custody, and the charges against Sharon will definitely be dropped. We just have to make a brief court appearance, that's it.

Nick: Oh, hallelujah.

Sharon: Yeah, thank God. And thank you, Michael.

Michael: Oh. You got a brave lady here.

Nick: Yeah, marrying her was just about the best decision I ever made.

Sharon: Mmm, that goes double for me, sweetheart.

Nikki: Oh, this terrible ordeal is over.

Victor: Thank the lord for that.

Nikki: Yes. And Grace Turner.

Nikki: You having a good time?

Grace: Thanks for inviting me to your barbecue, Nikki.

Nikki: How could I not? When it came down to crunch time, you were really there for Sharon and Nicholas. I appreciate that.

Grace: Well, I've made a lot of mistakes, but the worst was falling in love with Cameron.

Nikki: Well, we all make bad judgments sometimes.

Grace: I knew I couldn't live with myself if I just stood by and let him destroy Nicholas and his family.

Nikki: You still care for my son, don't you?

Grace: Enough to save his wife's life.

Raul: I know what all you bozos want.

J.T.: (Laughs)

Girl: We're glad you're sticking around, Raul.

Raul: I'm not. Good lord. But stealing my luggage with my ticket to Boston in it, guys, thatís... no, you know what? I'm not gonna throw a fit here because that's what you guys want-- something to laugh at. I'm gonna wait. I'll wait till you guys give it back.

Man: Hey, thanks for changing your mind, buddy. You won't regret it.

Raul: I already regret not leaving yesterday. J.T., give me back my luggage, or he's gonna die.

J.T.: I told you, I didn't steal your luggage, man.

Raul: Yeah, but you know who did.

J.T.: Yeah, a guy in a van. That's all I heard.

Mac: They didn't even get a plate number.

Man #2: See you around campus, bro.

Raul: No, you're not, but thanks for coming. I told you that ticket's nonrefundable. Please.

J.T.: So that means if you miss this plane, you're gonna have to save up for another few months?

Raul: Mac, tell me my stuff is coming back.

Mac: Let's make sure you really want to leave first.

Ashley: Why do you think I should be worried?

Olivia: Did Brad tell you that we spoke?

Ashley: No. When was this?

Olivia: I was here a couple of days ago. You were away on business. I wanted to drop off those hair accessories for you and Abby.

Ashley: What happened with Brad?

Olivia: He told me the stunt that Victor pulled, and I couldn't believe it. I still canít. I mean, I know Victor wants to be more involved in Abbyís life, but kidnapping?

Ashley: Victor did not kidnap Abby.

Olivia: In Brad's mind, he did. Ashley, you shoulda seen him. He was a mess. He was doubting whether he was a good father or not.

Ashley: That's ridiculous. Brad's a wonderful father. We all know that.

Olivia: That's what I told him, but put yourself in his shoes. He had to pull Abby out of a day camp that she loves. He had to make a decision that he knew would hurt his daughter. You have to realize the toll this is taking on him.

Ashley: His relationship with Abby does not have to change.

Olivia: Ashley, you can't possibly believe that.

Ashley: We're talking just a few visits, Liv, that's it.

Olivia: Yeah, for now. What happens when Victor wants more?

Ashley: We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Olivia: And you don't see the potential for disaster here?

Ashley: You know, this isn't all my fault. Brad's partly to blame for this as well. If he hadn't convinced Nikki to erase that message, none of this would've happened. Victor would've waited until I got back from my trip. We would've sat down and worked out an acceptable arrangement.

Olivia: Sharing Abby with Victor is never going to be acceptable to Brad.

Ashley: So what do you think I should do? You tell me. I should tell Victor he can't see his own daughter? Then he's gonna drag us into court, and he's gonna sue us for custody, and that's not what's best for my little girl! Now I know how Brad feels about Victor, but he is Abbyís biological father. And guess what. It's not gonna be the end of the world if Victor spends time with Abby.

Olivia: Maybe Brad's right. Maybe you are on Victor's side.

Cassie: Grace.

Grace: Hey, Cassie.

Cassie: I just wanted to thank you for all that you did for my mom and dad.

Grace: You're very welcome, sweetheart.

Sharon: Okay. Hey, Noah, throw it here.

Nikki: Oh, yeah. I'm taking a break. Whew. I need a brownie after that.

Nick: Hey, Mom, do we have anymore of those big beach towels?

Nikki: Yeah, we do. Down at Victoriaís place.

Nick: Oh, all right. I'll go get some.

Nikki: No, honey. You know what? I'll do it. I know exactly where they are.

Nick: You know, I will, um, never forget what you did for Sharon, all the things you did to help her in spite of your differences.

Nikki: Sweetheart, of course.

Ashley: I am not on Victor's side. I am on my daughter's side.

Olivia: But not your husbandís. You don't think there's anything wrong with that? Look, I'm not telling you how to live your life, but the way you're acting, I think you're making some very definite choices...

Ashley: What choices?

Olivia: And Brad feels the same way.

Ashley: What choices?

Olivia: Victor over Brad.

Ashley: Mm-hmm. You are so off base.

Olivia: Am I?

Ashley: Yeah. I can't even believe you're saying this to me.

Olivia: Because I know the history you share with Victor, because that man still has a hold on you, and now you share a child together. Well, Brad thinks you're getting pulled back in, and you know what? I'm not sure I disagree.

Ashley: Olivia... I love my husband. I'm committed to my husband.

Olivia: Then why are you letting Victor call all the shots?

Ashley: I'm not! I'm trying to do the best thing I can with a very complicated situation. Why can't you see that?! Why can't Brad see that?!

Olivia: Okay, you know what? I got to get back to the hospital.

Ashley: Oh.

Olivia: Please, Ashley, talk to Brad. Make peace. I'm worried about him.

Ashley: What are you saying? Just say it!

Olivia: The way he was acting the other day, the look in his eyes, it scared me. I don't know how much more of this he can take.

Ashley: I think everything's just fine. I do. I think Brad's just spending the day with Abby. That's what fathers do with their little girls. This is ridiculous. There's nothing to worry about. It's okay. You can go.

Raul: Mac, I am tired of everyone assuming I'm leaving town because Brittany dumped me.

Mac: All right. Let's not talk about Brittany. I'd rather talk about you anyway.

Raul: Let's not.

Mac: Please. If you leave, I'm not gonna see you for a very long time. I want to make sure it's the only option.

Raul: Sweetie, I got a scholarship at a very good school back east, okay? What more reason do I need to move to Boston?

Mac: You can get a wonderful education here.

Raul: Yeah? Yeah, everybody's just flocking from all over the country to come to G.C.U. Get real, Mac. I have an idea. Your grandma's doing much better, right?

Mac: Yeah, thank God. She's getting married. Can you believe that?

Raul: That's great. That's great. So, wait, so then you don't have much holdin' you here, right? Why don't you come with me?

Mac: Raul...

Raul: Yeah. No, I mean it. Let's do Boston together. You know it would be fun. You have enough credits. You could get accepted to Wellesley or Harvard if you wanted to.

Mac: Are you crazy?

Raul: Yes!

Mac: (Laughs)

Raul: No, I'm serious. Come on. I mean, let's face it. There's always been a little something going on between you and me. Come with me. It'd be awesome. Look, listen, Mac, if it doesn't work out between you and me, well, then you can just add Boston to the list of places that you've been.

Mac: Hmm.

Raul: Come on.

Mac: No. I'm gonna stay here for now.

Raul: Are you sure?

Mac: Yeah.

Raul: Wait a minute. Is there something going on with you that you haven't told me about?

Mac: I did go out on a date with J.T. last night.

Raul: Oh.

Mac: (Giggles)

Raul: No, no, no, no, no. I meant something healthy. Come on, you don't want to go out with that dog.

Mac: He's your friend.

Raul: No, I hate him. I know, I know he's my friend, but I know him too well. He's a dog.

Mac: Colleen changed him.

Raul: You think?

Mac: Yes, I do. I'll be careful.

Raul: You promise?

Mac: Do you know anyone who's more careful than me?

Raul: That's a good point. I guess not.

Mac: So don't worry.

Raul: Okay. But then you don't worry about me.

Mac: Oh. Fine. I'll try. I'm always gonna care about you.

Raul: You better.

Mac: Mutual?

Raul: Mutual.

J.T.: Hey, what are you trying to do, man, steal my date?

Raul: I was just warning her about you.

J.T.: Oh, really? Well, thanks, bro. You know, my, uh, my evil reputation makes me irresistible.

Raul: Oh, really?

Mac: You're not either one of those things. I'll let you guys talk.

Raul: All right, sweetie. What was that about?

J.T.: Ah, really. I mean, why the hell would I want to talk to you?

Jill: You're spending a lot of time in Jack's office these days.

Ashley: That's because I've taken over most of his responsibilities.

Jill: Must make a nice change from that stuffy old lab.

Ashley: Ahem. What can I do for you?

Jill: I was looking over the fourth quarter projections for the men's line. Whose idea was it to slash the operating budget by 15%?

Ashley: Mine.

Jill: It was so nice of you to inform me by memo. I would've appreciated a phone call, Ashley. I'm head of that division.

Ashley: Well, I'm sorry, but if you're here lobbying for full funding, you can forget it.

Jill: I just want to know what it means.

Ashley: It means what it says, Jill. We're cutting your budget by 15%.

Jill: I know that. I mean down the road, okay? I mean, are you completely eliminating the men's line? Because if so, let's just get it over with. You can cut the budget by 100%, save us all a lot of time and energy.

Raul: I can't believe you would have someone swipe my luggage, you jackass.

J.T.: Hey, dude, you keep blaming me, man. But maybe it was the hand of fate.

Raul: Right.

J.T.: I mean it. You know, a random act of burglary like that, that's-- that's a sign to you.

Raul: Yeah, to keep my stuff where you can't get at it. I seriously doubt that you or Mac or anybody wants me to stay here this badly.

J.T.: What are you talking about, man? I got everybody I know out there looking for your luggage so you can make it to that plane on time.

Raul: Yeah, right.

J.T.: Hey, like I said before, I can't wait to get my room back. And besides, you know, with you outta town, that's just less competition.

Raul: Hey, speaking of which, what's this I hear about you going out with Mac?

J.T.: It was a friendly date, man.

Raul: Oh, right.

J.T.: You know, a guy and a girl go out in this town, and it's, like, everybody just assumes whatever their overactive imaginations want to assume.

Raul: Oh, please. You should be the last person talking about other people's overactive imaginations.

J.T.: Mac is my friend, and if you can't handle that...

Raul: Just watch out for her, will you?

J.T.: She doesn't need me being a big brother to her.

Raul: Dude, I said watch out for her.

J.T.: Okay. Okay, I will.

Raul: And while you're at it...

J.T.: What?

Raul: Look out for Brittany, too.

Nick: There you go.

Grace: You know, Michael, I'm in the market for a new boyfriend now that Cameronís out of the picture.

Michael: Mnh-mnh. Don't come lookin' at me, Gracie.

Grace: Hey, we used to have some pretty good times, didn't we?

Michael: Mm... been there, done that.

Sharon: Hey, Grace.

Grace: Hey, Sharon.

Sharon: I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you going to the police and telling them what a monster Cameron really was.

Grace: Well, it took me some time to realize it myself. So now we're even? Clean slate between us, right?

Grace: You know, there is one thing I'm sorry about, though.

Sharon: What's that?

Grace: Frank. What Cameron did to him.

Sharon: Yeah, I'm-- I'm really sorry about that, too. Frank didn't deserve that, and poor Cassie certainly didnít.

Nikki: Who are you? Well, speak up. Are you on the staff? Do you work in the stables?

Daniel: Uh, no.

Nikki: Well, who the hell are you and what are you doing here?

Daniel: I live here.

Nikki: Excuse me?

Daniel: I live here with my mother. Who are you?

Nikki: For your information, this house belongs to me.

Daniel: Wait a minute. You own this spread?

Nikki: My husband and I do. I'm Nikki Newman.

Daniel: Oh, my gosh. Um, hi. Daniel Romalotti. It's very nice to meet you.

Nikki: Hi. Romalotti? You're Dannyís son?

Daniel: Yeah. That's debatable.

Nikki: I didn't realize you were in town. Haven't you been living in Europe?

Daniel: Yeah. The boarding school trip all the way. Whoopee.

Nikki: Both of my children went to boarding school in Europe.

Daniel: How come? Did you want to get rid of them, too?

Nikki: Whoa. You have got the attitude. (Door closes)

Nikki: Well, hi there.

Phyllis: Hey. Hey.

Phyllis: Hey. I see you've met my son Daniel.

Nikki: Yes, yes, I did.

Phyllis: Yeah, just, you know, Nikki, disregard the attitude.

Nikki: Well, it seems he's not very happy with his lot in life right now.

Phyllis: No, he's not. He's not. We have some issues that we need to work through, don't we? And, um, you know, Victor was so nice, offering us this beautiful place.

Nikki: My husband said you could live here?

Phyllis: Yeah. You didn't know? Oh, boy. Okay. Nikki, I'm really sorry. I'm so embarrassed. I specifically asked Victor if it would be a problem. You know, I didn't want to cause any problems for the family. He said it'd be all right.

Nikki: Oh, he did?

Phyllis: Yeah. You know, the last thing I want to do is inject myself into your marital issues, I mean, if that's the deal.

Nikki: You know, Victor has a habit of doing exactly as he pleases, so I guess he wants you here.

Daniel: Look, if this is gonna be some kind of big hassle--

Nikki: You be quiet, young man. Your mother and I are talking.

Daniel: Everywhere I go, there's someone that wants to boss me around.

Ashley: Jill, you can relax. At this time, we don't have any plans to cut the men's line.

Jill: "At this time." And that's supposed to put my mind at ease?

Ashley: Sorry, but I can't give you any guarantees.

Jill: But it is possible?

Ashley: I just said that. Now I've got so much work to do. Please.

Jill: Do you know what a horrible idea it would be to cut that line? You would be eliminating a huge customer base.

Ashley: I understand that.

Jill: I wonder.

Ashley: You gotta face facts. The men's line has under performed for the last four quarters. Now it doesn't make any sense to keep throwing huge amounts of money at something that simply isn't working.

Jill: Look, I know that the numbers have been disappointing, but I really believe it's about to turn around. Our holiday projections have never been higher, our customer testing on new products is through the roof.

Ashley: Okay, okay, okay, okay. I'll make you a deal. Come January, you show me some actual numbers, and then we'll talk. Until then, I've got so much work to do. So if you're just gonna complain, please just take it someplace else.

Jill: Oh, I know what this is about. You're punishing me, aren't you? You can't stand it that I stood up for Jack when Victor forced him out.

Ashley: Jack resigned. Have you forgotten?

Jill: Because he knew he was fighting a losing battle. After everything that he's done for this company, for you to turn your back on him for money? That is so shameful. It makes me wonder who's next on the chopping block.

Ashley: You know, you keep it up, and you're not gonna have to wonder for long. How's that?

Jill: Oh!

Ashley: No messages. No messages.

Trevor: I'll be right back.

Mac: Okay.

J.T.: Me look after Brittany? Yeah, right, man.

Raul: Come on, man. I'm serious.

J.T.: Well, get your head on straight. She's gonna have a whole lot of new friends-- you know, Louie the lip, Freddie the fish, Bobby the baboon. Oh, no, wait. That's actually her husband. Yeah, that's right.

Raul: Oh, God.

J.T.: Anyway, you know, with all that new muscle in the family, you should, um, you should ask her to keep an eye on me.

Raul: Hey, that's not funny.

J.T.: Well, you know my opinion of Bobby Marsino, right? When I think about him touching her, man, it just makes me wanna...

J.T.: I'm sure it's a lot worse for you.

Raul: That's why I don't think about it.

J.T.: You know she doesn't love him, Raul. I mean, she thinks he's exciting...

Raul: Yeah.

J.T.: But that's gonna last all of about ten minutes after the wedding, and she's gonna realize that-- that she's got zero in common with the guy. And she's gonna be goin', "where's Raul? I want Raul back."

Raul: (Chuckles) yeah? Well... she could pick a number.

J.T.: Oh, I see, tough guy. I get it.

Raul: I'm doin' my best.

J.T.: But you're really outta here, man?

Raul: Yep. What are you doin'?

J.T.: Ahem. Guys, uh, he's really leaving. Yeah, I know. I tried, I tried. But just put his stuff back in my car. All right.

Raul: You dirty son of a bitch.

J.T.: I just wanted to make sure you were for real, man.

Raul: Well, thank you. I needed that. My blood sugar needed it, too.

J.T.: Are you okay? Need me to call the paramedics?

Raul: I will be. I hope you got plenty of minutes on that phone.

J.T.: Dude, I got plenty. I got tons, man. Don't worry about it. You do know how to text message, right?

Raul: Yeah, I'll figure it out.

J.T.: All right. Well, I guess we'll just have to stay in touch then.

Raul: You'll forget about me in a week or two.

J.T.: Yeah, probably right. Raul Guitti--what is it? Is it Raul or "Raoul", man? I never did get that.

Raul: I think I'm gonna leave that a mystery.

J.T.: A mys--

Raul: You like that? Hey, you know what you should do? Write me a song. That'd be cool.

J.T.: Oh, right, yeah. So you can tell all your friends in Boston that your has-been, used-to-be, almost-a-star buddy J.T. wrote this for you? I'm sure they'd appreciate that.

Raul: Yeah, and that's exactly what I would tell 'em, too. Hey, how the hell did you and I become friends? Please answer that. Because I used to hate your guts.

J.T.: Well, I... you know what they say, man.

Raul: I think I liked you better then.

J.T.: Yeah, me too.

Mac: Hey, what are you guys doing over here? You're taking forever.

J.T.: I think we're just, um, trying to figure out how to say good-bye.

Mac: Well, figure it out in the car.

Sharon: Well, Michael Baldwin at a pool party in his suit and sunglasses. You know, there's gotta be a lawyer joke in there somewhere.

Michael: Well, actually, there is. It's a very good one, but I'm not gonna tell you because we're a much-maligned group these days.

Sharon: Seriously, Michael, I owe you. I don't even want to think about what would have happened without your help.

Michael: Well, you deserve a lot of credit, too.

Sharon: Me? All I did was keep digging myself in deeper.

Michael: You made the right call when you insisted on telling Detective Weber the whole truth. That one factor opened everything up.

Sharon: Well, it's nice to know I did one thing right.

Michael: The truth, the truth, the truth takes a lot of guts. But you're a gutsy lady, right?

Sharon: Yeah.

Victor: Look at Baldwin in a tie and suit.

Sharon: Victor.

Michael: That's right.

Victor: Well, it's a nice party. Can't begin to tell you how proud I am of how you handled the whole situation, son. You saved your wife and your family.

Nick: Thanks, Dad.

Victor: Yep.

Nick: You know, Sharon might not even be here today if you hadn't told that security guard at the airport to let me through. I'm not gonna forget that. There, uh, may have been a lot less trouble if I had come to you sooner.

Victor: Maybe next time.

Nick: Let's hope there won't be a next time.

Victor: Yep.

Phyllis: I'm sorry about that, Nikki.

Nikki: I've raised a teenage son.

Phyllis: Yeah. Right. You know, I don't mean to intrude. I'm sure you'd prefer it if Daniel and I left.

Nikki: Looks like you've got, uh, your hands full with this one.

Phyllis: Yep. Yep, I do. We have issues to work out, like I said. Um, but... but we'll do it together, right?

Daniel: Sure, Mom. You and me against the world.

Phyllis: Exactly.

Nikki: Well, you came through for Victor when he needed it.

Phyllis: Yeah. You mean my testimony in court.

Nikki: I know what it cost you. And I have a feeling you're going to be needing a little support from time to time, so you might as well stay.

Phyllis: Really? Uh, well, thank you. Are you sure? Because I... listen, I don't want this to be a problem with your relationship.

Nikki: Victor makes his own decisions. I have a feeling I know why he made this one, but that's okay. Because I have my own ideas, too.

Phyllis: Okay. Am I supposed to understand what you're talking about?

Nikki: No. Um... just stay. The more, the merrier, right?

Phyllis: Yeah.

Nikki: At least until you make other arrangements. I came down for some towels.

Phyllis: Thanks, Nikki. Thanks.

Nikki: You two have a nice day.

Phyllis: You too.

J.T.: Hey--hey, man, we're runnin' low on time, bro.

Raul: I know.

Raul: You want to sit?

Brittany: I guess.

(Telephone rings) (Ring)

Frances: Carlton residence.

Ashley: Hi, Frances. It's Ashley. Are Brad and Abby home yet?

Frances: No, they're not. I just got here. The house is empty.

Ashley: Are there any messages on the machine?

Frances: Nope.

Ashley: Okay. Thanks.

Frances: Will it still be all right to leave early tonight? I promised to meet my niece in a couple of hours.

Ashley: Oh, yeah. I remember you telling me that she was gonna be in town. You--you go ahead. I'm gonna be home before long. Thanks. Where the hell are you, Brad? Where the hell have you taken my daughter? (Telephone rings)

Ashley: Hello.

Victor: Hello, Ashley.

Ashley: Oh, hello, Victor.

Victor: I just wanted you to know that my family had some very good news, and we're here at the ranch celebrating.

Ashley: Oh, good news. That's, uh, that's wonderful.

Victor: I just thought, you know, it'd be nice if-- as long as you agree to it-- if Abby could come out and celebrate with us.

Ashley: Um, no, I'm sorry. That's not gonna be possible. Um, uh, I-I can't do that right now.

Victor: Ashley, is anything wrong?

Ashley: Nothing. I'm just, um, I'm busy. I'm sorry. I gotta go. Bye.

Victor: Where'd you go?

Nikki: Oh, Nicholas asked me to find him some more beach towels.

Victor: Mm-hmm. Did you find 'em?

Nikki: Yes, they were exactly where I thought they would be.

Victor: Where was that?

Nikki: At Victoriaís house.

Sharon: Uh, Nikki...

Nikki: Yeah?

Sharon: I've been meaning to thank you.

Nikki: For what?

Sharon: For helping me in a way that I had no right to expect. I just don't know what would have happened to me. I probably would have lost it if it hadn't been for you.

Nikki: Well, Sharon, I believe that family is more important than anything, certainly more than any personal issues.

Sharon: And lord knows we've had enough of those.

Nikki: Well, I truly believe that you're a Newman. The courage and determination that you showed for the sake of your husband and your family was remarkable.

Sharon: Why, I never expected to be hearing that from you.

Nikki: Well, you may not again, so enjoy it.

Sharon: (Laughs)

Nick: Hey, everyone, I just want to say a few words. I wanted to recognize a couple of unsung heroes in this whole experience-- my beautiful mother and our attorney extraordinaire Michael Baldwin. Without your help and support, who knows how this may have ended, so I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Victor: I can't begin to tell you how happy we are that you're back home safe and sound. I guess it proves the old adage that love does conquer all.

Brittany: I don't want you to go.

Raul: It's not your call.

Brittany: You don't need to leave town.

Raul: No, no, I donít. I could stay here. And maybe if I didn't have my scholarship, I would stay, or maybe I'd go somewhere else and do something else. Either way, it shouldn't matter to you.

Brittany: It does.

Raul: Why?

Brittany: Because you're my friend. You're my best friend.

Raul: No, no, I'm not. I'm the guy that loves you.

Brittany: Raul--

Raul: I'm sorry, Brittany, but the feeling I have for you is love. I can't just turn it down like the volume on some radio.

Brittany: Raul, people who used to be really close, they can be friends. It happens.

Raul: Yeah, it does, sometimes, after a lot of time has passed, usually.

Brittany: I feel like this is all my fault.

Raul: What if it is? Everything's someone's fault, even if it's good. You don't know how this is gonna turn out. Maybe you and Bobby will end up being the happiest couple in town. Hey, maybe I'll go to Boston, and I'll meet somebody who loves me even more than I loved you, Britt.

Brittany: Don't say that.

Raul: All right, now you're being a princess.

Brittany: I don't want to let you go.

Brittany: That's selfish, isn't it?

Raul: Just a little bit, yeah.

Brittany: But I can't help how I feel.

Raul: No. No, you canít.

Brittany: I'm sorry... about Bobby.

Raul: Oh, whoa, hey, you gotta marry this guy. You don't want to be sorry about him.

Brittany: You know what I meant. And Mac and J.T., you know, they're really good friends of yours.

Raul: Yours, too.

Brittany: Well, they only put up with me because they like you so much.

Raul: Yeah, well, then I'll tell 'em not to stop. Now I think you can count on J.T., and I never thought I'd ever say this, but if you're ever in a jam, J.T.'s your man.

Brittany: I'll remember that.

Raul: There's a lot of things to remember.

Brittany: Like the time.

Raul: Yeah, right.

Brittany: Raul, thereís...

Raul: No, stop, stop. I wouldn't change a thing, Britt. You were my first. I'm never gonna forget that. Except this-- having to leave you. Oh, this hurts. Yeah, this hurts. I don't want to remember this.

Raul: All right, take care.

Brittany: Always. You too.

J.T.: I thought we lost you, man.

Raul: No, I'm good. Let's go.

Mac: You're sure that's what you want?

Raul: Yeah.

J.T.: We're not gonna drive all the way out to the airport and have to come back with you still in the car, right, holding onto the door handle with both hands?

Raul: No, I promise, man.

J.T.: All right then. Let's go.

Trevor: Hey, Raul, we're gonna miss you, man.

(Telephone ringing)

Ashley: Pick up the phone, Brad. (Ring)

Ashley: Pick up the phone. (Ring)

Ashley: Pick up the phone.

Brad: Hi.

Ashley: Oh, thank...

Brad: This is Brad Carlton. I'm unavailable to take your call right now, but if you'll leave a message, I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Ashley: Brad, I've left you messages all day long. Where are you? Where's our little girl? I need to hear from you, please. You have to call me. Please, just call me.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Nikki: Are you keeping some secret from me? Maybe you're more involved with Ashley?

Jack: Your husband's missing?

Ashley: And he's got Abby with him.

Gloria: This is a very important night for me. You have no idea.

Man: Glad we can be of service.
