Phyllis: Mmm. Good.

Phyllis: (Chuckles) you're not eatin'. You're not eatin'. I'll get you something else. (Clears throat) hmm. Okay. I'd like to know how long you plan on staring at me like that.

Phyllis: All right. I'm gonna pout. I'm gonna pout, too. Because pouting is always very productive. I'm gonna pout.

Phyllis: (Laughs) hey, Daniel, you know, I'm doin' my best here.

Daniel: Yeah. Is that why you blew off goin' to see that place over on Lakeshore Drive last night?

Phyllis: I didn't blow it off.

Daniel: Did you look at a single apartment at all yesterday? Are you planning to look at any today?

Phyllis: Um, yeah. Uh, you know... I'm kind of swamped at work. I have a huge day.

Daniel: Yeah.

Phyllis: Yo--I'm... listen, uh, I'll--you know what? I'll do my best. I'll--I'll try to look at a place. I-I'm really gonna try, hone.. I'm really gonna try. Why are you staring at me like that?

Daniel: Because it's really starting to make me wonder, Mom, you know, how hard you're trying to make this happen.

Noah: Wow. That was the best coffee cake I ever had.

Sharon: You can thank your sister, Noah. Cassie made it all by herself.

Cassie: It's one of Miguelís secret recipes.

Noah: How can it be a secret if he gave it to you?

Cassie: Well, I guess he trusts me not to tell anybody.

Nick: Ah, we can tell Noah, can't we, Cass? Its sourdough, buddy.

Noah: It didn't taste sour.

Cassie: That's just the kind of dough I used.

Sharon: It's a lot of work, too.

Noah: You ought to be a baker when you grow up, Cassie. You're really good.

Cassie: Thanks, Noah.

Sharon: You kids can be whatever you want to be. There's plenty of time to decide that later.

Nick: You know, your mom's right. If you guys study really hard and have confidence in yourselves, then you can accomplish anything. And no matter what happens, what you wind up doing when you grow up, just know that I'll always be proud of you.

Cassie: Dad, we're just talking about coffee cake.

(Telephone rings)

Victor: Yep.

Bobby: Uh, hello. Can I speak to Nikki?

Victor: Who's this?

Bobby: Bobby Marsino. Is she there?

Victor: No, she's not here. And I resent you calling this early in the morning.

Nikki: Who was that?

Victor: A fellow called Marsino. Is he the guy who owns that strip club? What is he calling here for?

Nikki: What are you doing? That was my phone call.

Victor: I didn't like the man's attitude.

Nikki: What was his attitude? What did he say to you?

Victor: Nothing. What's a man like that calling here for?

Nikki: Victor, it really is none of your business.

Victor: You're damn right it is my business. This is my house, you're my wife.

Nikki: Oh, my. Aren't we provincial?

Victor: You're not giving me a straight answer.

Nikki: I don't have to explain every moment of my life to you.

Brittany: Good morning, Mac.

Mac: Hey, Brittany.

Brittany: What are you doin'?

Mac: Painting my toenails.

Brittany: Hmm. I've never seen you wear nail polish.

Mac: Yeah, I thought I'd try something new.

Brittany: Hey, are you busy tonight?

Mac: Sort of. Why?

Brittany: My parents are throwing this party, and I don't want to go alone, but bringing Bobby is out of the question. Maybe I'll ask J.T. actually, on second thought, that's probably not such a good idea.

Mac: He's busy anyway.

Brittany: Doing what?

Mac: He has a date.

Brittany: Who's the unlucky girl?

Mac: Actually, it's me.

Victor: I don't like your attitude.

Nikki: You don't have the right to censor my phone calls.

Victor: Are you afraid to tell me why this man called here?

Nikki: (Sighs) he's a friend. We're working on a project together.

Victor: What do you mean, he's a friend and you're working on a project together? What the hell does that mean?

Nikki: You're still doing it. You're asking me to explain myself.

Victor: I don't think it's unreasonable for me to find out what the hell this man called for.

Nikki: Well, you care precious little how I feel about what you do.

Victor: You're talking about Abby?

Nikki: I don't want to talk about Abby. This is about me being my own person and not having to answer to you.

Victor: Is there something unsavory about this? Is that why you're keeping this a secret?

Nikki: Of course you would assume that. If you must know, I'm investing in a club that he owns. Are you satisfied?

Victor: No, I am not satisfied, not in the least satisfied. I don't want you to be involved with someone like that.

Nikki: Well, that's unfortunate.

Nick: I guess I did get all serious there, huh?

Cassie: Yeah, I'll say.

Nick: I'm sorry. I didn't get much sleep last night. I got a lot on my mind.

Noah: Like what, Daddy?

Nick: Well, like, um, how important you all are to me, how much I love you... and how lucky I am to have such great kids.

Cassie: That's why you couldn't sleep, thinking about that stuff?

Nick: Well, that's kind of the thing with being a dad. You're constantly wondering, how can I protect my family? How can I let them know that I appreciate them? Like your mother-- I hope you two realize what an amazing woman she is.

Sharon: Nick...

Nick: I mean it, babe. You're the best. You all are. And that's the end of the speech, okay?

Noah: I like what you said, Daddy.

Cassie: Me too.

Sharon: It was straight from the heart.

Sharon: Okay, you kids, it's time to get a move on. Miguel's taking you to day camp, Noah, and, Cassie, you're going to the rec center.

Cassie: Okay.

Nick: Hey, aren't you guys forgetting something?

Noah: Bye, Dad.

Nick: See you, buddy.

Noah: Bye, Mom.

Sharon: Bye, honey.

Nick: Cassie, you too. Come give your mother a hug. (Car horn honks)

Cassie: That's Miguel.

Nick: Well, Miguel can wait. This is more important.

Sharon: Bye, honey.

Cassie: Bye, Mom.

Sharon: Have a good day.

Cassie: Bye, Dad.

Nick: Bye.

Brittany: You're going out with J.T.?

Mac: Yeah.

Brittany: As in our roommate J.T.?

Mac: Yes, Brittany.

Brittany: Why?

Mac: Why not? It'll be fun.

Brittany: Okay.

Mac: What's wrong?

Brittany: Well, J.T.'s not really your type.

Mac: That doesn't mean we can't have a good time together.

Brittany: So what is this then? Like a friend thing?

Mac: I don't know. I guess I'll find out tonight.

Brittany: Whose idea was this?

Mac: What difference does it make?

Brittany: Well, you know, J.T. usually likes girls who... you know.

Mac: Who what?

Brittany: Who are more accessible than you?

Mac: Oh. Well, what can I say? Maybe Colleen brought out a different side of him.

Brittany: Where's he taking you?

Mac: He said it'd be a surprise. I promise I'll give you the details tomorrow. Does that make you feel better?

Brittany: Why would it?

Mac: Well, you seem awfully curious about J.T. and me. Especially for somebody who just got engaged. By the way, why didn't you tell me?

Brittany: I was going to. Things have been so hectic.

Mac: Well, congratulations.

Brittany: Thank you.

Mac: Does this mean I finally get to meet the guy?

Brittany: Sure. He comes by every so often.

Mac: Never when I'm here. Trying to keep him a secret or something?

Brittany: It's not that. Bobby and Raul just don't get along so well.

Mac: Oh, yeah, I gathered that. J.T. doesnít really like him, either.

Brittany: Like I care what J.T. thinks.

Mac: Yeah, only who he dates. Only kidding. I gotta get to the rec center. I'll see you later.

Brittany: Bye.

Mac: Bye.

Phyllis: Listen, Daniel, I-I want us to live together. I want that.

Daniel: I know you say you want that. But then another day goes by and another, and we're still shacking up with Mr. Personality.

Phyllis: No, no. Hey, hey, his name is Damon, okay? And I just can't make a great place materialize out of thin air.

Daniel: Yeah. Especially if you're not serious about looking.

Phyllis: I--

Daniel: I mean, that place I saw over on Hyde Park was okay.

Phyllis: Oh, it was not okay. It was the size of a postage stamp. I mean, I saw the floor plan. If I'm gonna throw down 2 grand on something, it's gotta have room for a stick of furniture.

Daniel: I'll sleep on the floor, I don't care. But if you're gonna sit here and you can't even pretend to give a damn about this--

Phyllis: Okay. I-- shh. All right. I wasn't gonna tell you this, but you forced me.

Daniel: What?

Phyllis: I didn't, um, look at that place on Lakeshore because I ran into Christine.

Daniel: What do you mean, you ran into her? Like, with your car? 'Cause I know you'd probably love that.

Phyllis: No. Um, I saw her at the restaurant across the street.

Daniel: So what? Did you guys get into something, some big argument that kept you from keeping your promise to me?

Phyllis: And then after we got things straight, um, I ran into, um... Jack Abbott. And he was served with the divorce papers. Our--our divorce is final.

Phyllis: Um, anyway... (Clears throat) so, you know, excuse me if I wasn't up for making nice with a real estate agent.

Daniel: Okay. Now let me tell you what I'm not up for. Sleeping on Damonís couch last night, that was it. So you either get us a hotel room or find us a place that we can move into tonight, or else.

Phyllis: Or else what?

Daniel: Or else you know Christineís number.

Phyllis: Are you threatening me with that again? Daniel. Daniel. Daniel. Hey. (Laughs nervously)

Sharon: What was that all about?

Nick: What?

Sharon: The way you were talking and acting. It was almost as if...

Nick: As if what?

Sharon: As if it's the last time we'll ever be together.

Nick: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you.

Sharon: Well, you did, Nick. You were freaking me out, especially after what you said last night.

Nick: You mean that I have an idea to get you out of this nightmare Cameronís created?

Sharon: You said that you had a brainstorm, and then you fell asleep before you told me what your plan was.

Nick: You're not gonna want to hear what it is.

Sharon: Nick, just say it.

Nick: I think you should accept Cameronís proposal. Tell him you'll get on that airplane with him.

Brittany: Morning.

J.T.: (Sighs) morning.

Brittany: I believe this is what you were looking for.

J.T.: Oh, yeah. Thanks.

J.T.: Is Mac still here?

Brittany: She just left for the rec center.J.T.: hmm, maybe I'll stop by there later.

Brittany: You're not gonna break your date, are you? Poor Mac would be devastated. She painted her toenails and everything.

Nikki: Victor, this isn't about what you like or don't like.

Victor: Where does this challenging attitude come from?

Nikki: I am simply standing up for myself. I guess that's challenging in your book.

Victor: You seem to have a chip on your shoulder. Why?

Nikki: No, I donít.

Victor: Then what is it?

Nikki: (Presses piano keys) I don't know. I just... I feel like I'm standing on shifting sand.

Victor: In what way?

Nikki: (Plunks piano notes) I can't explain it. I... it's just... it's just something that I feel inside. I feel uneasy.

Victor: Why do you feel uneasy?

Nikki: Victor, please don't try to help, okay? You canít. You're all wrapped up in your new family and your new daughter. Your focus is there.

Victor: In other words, you're jealous.

Nikki: I am not jealous. I just... I don't feel grounded.

Victor: Don't you know by now that you're the center of my life?

Nikki: Those are words, Victor. I even think you mean them.

Victor: Sweetheart, why all this insecurity? Of course I mean them. You know I mean them. You know damn well I can't turn my back on a child--

Nikki: That is biologically yours. Yes, I know. I know.

Victor: Right.

Nikki: Anybody who knows you knows that you would want involvement with her.

Victor: You seem to resent that.

Nikki: You know, we are just at cross-purposes here. You want something that is only gonna bring a great deal of stress to my life. And it doesn't matter how you try to paint it differently. There are things going on with you and there are things going on inside of me. I can't explain it any more than that. Now if you think that I'm reaching out for something that is beneath the Newman name, I can't help it. Lord knows you have dragged this family's name through the mud for the last several months. I doubt that I could do a better job than that.

Victor: That's not very nice of you to say.

Nikki: I'm sorry, but it's true.

Sharon: You want me to tell Cameron I'll go with him?

Nick: If you don't, he's gonna leave the country.

Sharon: And I'll be left to stand trial for Frank's murder.

Nick: So for now you play along. You be totally convincing. In the meantime, I'll go talk to Detective Weber. We'll arrange to set up some kind of sting.

Sharon: You mean trap him into admitting that he framed me?

Nick: Yes. Babe, this could be our last chance.

Sharon: What if Weber won't go along with it?

Nick: Deep down, I think he already suspects Kirsten. Now I can't imagine him blowing this off with so much at stake.

Sharon: And if you're wrong?

Nick: If I'm wrong, then you back out of your agreement to go with Cameron.

Sharon: Which means he leaves alone and the authorities may never be able to find him.

Nick: I think that this guy is starting to trust you, Sharon. And there's still a chance you could get him to incriminate himself before you have to get on that plane.

Sharon: In his hotel room?

Nick: Yes. But this time you wear a wire.

Sharon: Nick, what if he checks?

Nick: He didn't check last time.

Sharon: Yeah, but my luck can only hold out for so long.

Nick:Sharon, I'm gonna try and have all this worked out by the time you get back. For now all you have to do is tell Cameron you'll get on that plane with him. And we'll have the rest of it figured out by tomorrow.

Sharon: I don't know, Nick. I mean, God knows, I have faith in you. But how can you be sure any of this will work? And what if I fall apart? I mean, I've held it together this long, but what if Cameron figures out that I've been just stringing him along all this time?

J.T.: Give me a break, Brittany. I just woke up.

Brittany: Why are you going out with Mackenzie?

J.T.: That's none of your business.

Brittany: She's not gonna sleep with you.

J.T.: What?

Brittany: Well, that is what you're after, isn't it?

J.T.: No, that's not what I'm after. What gave you that idea?

Brittany: Because I know you, J.T. and when it comes to girls, youíre only interested in one thing, and Mac guards it like Fort Knox.

J.T.: You are so far off base.

Brittany: Oh, really?

J.T.: Yeah, really. Have you forgotten about Colleen?

Brittany: That's just it. The whole time you were with her, you never got any action. Except for that little fling with my mother.

J.T.: Brittany...

Brittany: Yeah, I know. I won't go there. Anyway, my point is, you must be sick of taking all those cold showers. So why are you wasting your time on a girl like Mac?

J.T.: You can be so insulting.

Brittany: I just don't want you to be disappointed when she turns you down.

J.T.: You know, first of all, I don't owe you an explanation. And secondly, I'm not going out with Mac so I can get her in bed. That's not the point.

Brittany: Please don't tell me you're interested in her sparkling personality.

J.T.: What do you care what I see in Mac?

Brittany: I donít.

J.T.: Really? You coulda fooled me. What, are you having problems with Bobby already?

Brittany: No.

J.T.: Oh, this is about Raul. Does it bother you that he's moved on?

Brittany: Moved on?

J.T.: Yeah.

Brittany: Are you talking about that Debbie girl?

J.T.: Donna. Her name's Donna.

Brittany: Raul thought he could use her to make me jealous.

J.T.: (Chuckles) you think so highly of yourself.

Brittany: I wouldn't be surprised if you put him up to it.

J.T.: Why would I do that?

Brittany: You tell me. I know that you hate that I'm marrying Bobby. Maybe you were hoping that if I saw Raul and Donna together, I would want him back.

J.T.: And you're saying you don't? Not just a little bit?

Brittany: No! I'm with Bobby now. I love him. Why can't you get that through your head?

J.T.: Maybe it's because he's all wrong for you, Brittany.

Brittany: Oh, God. Not this again.

J.T.: Listen to me. If you marry that guy, you're gonna regret it.

Brittany: Maybe you're right. Maybe I will regret it. But I am an adult. And that means I can make my own decisions, and I don't have to listen to you or to Raul or to my parents. I'm gonna marry Bobby Marsino, and there is nothing you can do about it.

J.T.: You're right. You're right. If you're that determined, there is nothing I can do to stop it. But I'm not gonna stop trying because that guy is all wrong for you, Brittany. And one way or the other, I'm gonna make you see that. (Footsteps approach)

Raul: What the hell are you guys yelling about in here? I could hear you from the bathroom.

Brittany: Ask J.T. he seems to have all the answers.

(Doorbell rings)

Victor: Hey.

Phyllis: Hi. Have I come at a bad time?

Victor: No, no, not at all.

Phyllis: Okay. Because I can just give this to you and then leave.

Victor: No, that's quite all right. You didn't drive all the way out here for me to bite your head off. Please come in.

Phyllis: Thank you. I'm surprised I still have a head after the breakfast I had with my son.

Victor: With your son?

Phyllis: Yes. It's been so long since we've spoken. Yes, my son and I have-- I guess you could call it reconnected.

Victor: Uh-huh. Sorry, but a lot of things have happened in my life since I spoke to you last. Um, refresh my memory. Was it your son who wanted to cut you out of his life?

Phyllis: Yes, cut me out completely out of his life.

Victor: Really?

Phyllis: Yeah. Well, to make a very, very long story short, okay--

Victor: Tell me about it.

Phyllis: Tell you about it?

Victor: Mm-hmm. I feel rather estranged from my own son, so anyone who has managed to create a happy ending out of a dismal situation, I want to hear about it.

Phyllis: You would?

Victor: Mm-hmm. Would you like a cup of coffee?

Phyllis: Yes. I'd love to have a cup of coffee with you.

Raul: What was all that about?

J.T.: Man, talking to Brittany is like talking to a freakin' brick wall.

Raul: (Laughs) no argument from me there.

J.T.: One thing's for sure, I'm more convinced than ever that our plan worked. Man, seeing you with Donna like that really tripped Brittany out.

Raul: Come on, J.T. donít--don't start with me.

J.T.: I think you could get her back, man. I know you can.

Raul: J.T., I'm serious.

J.T.: I'm just saying, dude, I think you could--

Raul: I know what you're sayin'. I'm not interested. Drop it.

J.T.: All right, man. Fine. Whatever.

Raul: So what do you got goin' today?

J.T.: Not much. Uh, I gotta check in with Paul about a few things, and I got plans with Mac later, but, uh, that's about it. What are you doin'?

Raul: I am spending the whole day packing.

J.T.: For what?

Raul: For Boston. I'm leavin' tomorrow.

(Nikki remembering.)

Bobby: We phase out the stripping as soon as possible.

Nikki: As soon as it makes sense. We still don't know if Genoa City is holding its breath for a cabaret.

Bobby: Then again, we don't know if your husband's gonna come down here and buy the building just to put us out of business. Come on, don't tell me he hasn't used that move before.

Nikki: He wouldn't dare do that with me.

Bobby: All right. Whatever you say, partner.

Nikki: Partner.

(Knock on door)

Bobby: Move on, Ange. I said I didn't want to be disturbed!

Nikki: It's not "Ange." It's me.

Bobby: Oh, look, Nikki, I'm just gettin' on top of this. If I stop now, I'm gonna have to start all over.

Nikki: Oh, well, that's too bad, Mr. Marsino. Because I have a bone to pick with you.

Bobby: Oh, "Mr. Marsino." What'd I do?

Nikki: What were you thinking, calling me at home?

Bobby: I needed to talk to you. What was I supposed to do, go see a psychic?

Nikki: Look, if we're gonna work together, you need to learn a few rules.

Bobby: Whoa, whoa. Wait a minute. Let's just get something straight. This is my club. Now I'm happy to have you on board, but there's no way you're layin' down rules for me. Understand?

Nikki: Really? Do I need to remind you that you begged me to become involved?

Bobby: I asked, polite and nice. I don't beg. This is about your old man. What, the great Victor Newman doesn't want you to have anything to do with Bobby Marsino, is that it

Phyllis: But anyway, I have my fingers crossed. You know, I usually have such a great rapport with teenagers, you know? Thank you. But when it's your own, all bets are off.

Victor: I bet.

Phyllis: Yeah. So... I lost a lot of time with Daniel.

Victor: All I can tell you is you can never make up for that lost time, never. That's a futile endeavor. Just focus on the present and then forge right ahead.

Phyllis: Yeah. Thanks. I have a lot of respect for your opinion.

Victor: Hmm. Well, then you're in the minority of one.

Phyllis: (Laughs) really?

Victor: Yeah.

Phyllis: What's going on?

Victor: Well, never mind. We're talking about you now.

Phyllis: Okay.

Victor: So you said that your son has difficulty getting along with your boyfriend.

Phyllis: Yes. Well, that is an understatement, actually. He wants to move out and, um, get a place, just the two of us together. Which'll be nice, and he has a point. But the way he's going about it, I don't--

Victor: He's causing a lot of friction.

Phyllis: Yeah. I mean, he gave me an ultimatum. He said that this thing is going to happen today, or else I can spend the next however many nights wondering where my 16-year-old son is crashing.

Victor: My goodness. That's no good.

Nikki: If you could've just waited for me to call you, there'd be no problem.

Bobby: Well, you could've given me your cell phone number or a private number. How'd I know that you didn't want me to call the house?

Nikki: You knew Victor wasn't gonna like our partnership.

Bobby: Look, that's your problem. I mean, you want something, you tell me upfront or you take what you get.

Nikki: You're right. You're right. I'm sorry. I should've taken care of it. I'm a little frazzled this morning.

Bobby: (Chuckles) did Victor forbid you to see me?

Nikki: Not exactly.

Bobby: Yeah, but he's gonna give you a hard time for us being involved in this place.

Nikki: Yeah, well, he's got no right. He does a lot of things that I don't like, either. It's gonna have to be a 2-way street.

Bobby: Oh, boy. Um, listen, Nikki, I'm real happy to have you on board here, but if you're just doing this just to get even with your husband, it's not gonna work.

Nikki: What, you think that we're gonna kiss and make up, and you'll never see me again?

Bobby: Well, it wouldn't be the first time in the history of the world.

Nikki: No. I'm doing this. I'm gonna see this through. As long as you and I get along and we share the same vision, I'm here.

Bobby: But you don't want to put in any investment capital.

Nikki: No, I donít.

Bobby: No, I got the idea. You don't want to be a silent partner with a checkbook, right? I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier. This is great. You're gonna love it.

Nikki: Okay. What?

Bobby: You're gonna be the Gypsy Rose Lee of the Midwest.

Nikki: What?

Bobby: Yeah. Nikki Reed Newman-- live, on stage at Marsinoís.

Nikki: Oh, no, no. No, no, no, no. You have got to be kidding me.

Bobby: No, it's got a great hook. And it'll be something different for opening night.

Nikki: "Different." That's one word for it. You know, I'm not 23 anymore, in case you haven't noticed.

Bobby: Yeah, but you still look real good. I bet you still got all your moves, too.

Nikki: No, actually. No.

Bobby: What's the matter? You afraid of what the girls at the Country Club are gonna say?

Nikki: Okay. Yeah.

Bobby: Well, just think--

Nikki: No, don't think. Don't think another second about that, okay? I will do everything that I can to change this place, to give it class, to bring in new customers. But I am not ever going to get up on that stage and take my clothes off, okay? Got it?

Bobby: Cool. But remember what I said about fun?

Nikki: I do. I do remember. And I will have fun. Now I have somebody coming over. I've got to go. So later on, we'll get together, and we'll go over details, okay?

Bobby: Wait a minute. I got all this paperwork to do. You're just gonna take off?

Nikki: And you're gonna do a great job, too. Bye.

Bobby: Some partner.

Nick: Babe, you can do this. Look at what you have accomplished already-- the way you went to Kirstenís hotel room and talked him into telling you his whole life story.

Sharon: That was just talk, Nick. Now I have to convince him that I really want to leave with him.

Nick: You have this guy eating out of your hand.

Sharon: I don't know if I can do it. I mean, Cameron seems to know what I'm thinking half the time. And if he figures out that this is just a setup or some kind of a trap--

Nick: Sharon, you have to do this. The future of this whole family depends on it.

Sharon: I don't know.

Nick: Oh, baby, if there was some other way, trust me, I would jump at it. If I could change places with you, I would do it in a second. But I canít. It's you he wants. You're the key to this whole thing succeeding.

Sharon: What if I make a mistake or I slip up?

Nick: You wonít. Just tell him you'll get on that plane with him tomorrow. By then, I will have everything worked out with Detective Weber.

Sharon: Nick, I'm scared. Just hold me. Hold me.

Victor: So your son is making a power play.

Phyllis: Um, yeah. Well, I don't know. Whether he is or he isn't, the problem is-- the problem is, there are very few nice apartments and condominiums here in Genoa City. Did you know that?

Victor: That is true. That is very true. Have you thought of going to a hotel suite?

Phyllis: Yeah, I could do that. But it doesn't really feel like home to me.

Victor: I don't blame you.

Phyllis: Mm-hmm. So, um, well... I guess I'm homeless, or about to be. Unless someplace that isn't roach-infested or clear out in Racine pops up anytime soon, I'm...

Victor: I'm just thinking. What if I told you that I had a solution to your problem?

Phyllis: Um, what-- you know what? If you're offering for me to sublet your penthouse, it might be a little too rich for me.

Victor: Mnh-mnh. I'm not talking about that.

Phyllis: No?

Victor: I'm talking about the tack house right here on my property.

Phyllis: Victoria's place?

Victor: Mm-hmm. She won't be back for awhile.

Phyllis: Really?

Victor: Mm-hmm. It's totally remodeled, top to bottom, furnished.

Phyllis: Wow. Okay. Yeah, Michael told me it was really nice.

Victor: Mm-hmm. It's empty. Someone may as well make use of it. Unless, of course, it's too isolated for you and your son.

Phyllis: No, no, no. Oh, my gosh. It's gorgeous here. Absolutely not. Are you sure?

Victor: Yeah, I'm very sure.

Phyllis: Okay. Um, Victor, don't you want to check this out with your family? I mean, maybe you want to run it by Nikki. She might have a problem with this.

Victor: No, my wife and I have agreed to not question each other's decisions.

Phyllis: Really? Oh.

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Phyllis: Wow. Well, I'm absolutely blown away. I-I... I can't thank you enough.

Victor: Dear, you don't have thank me. You're very welcome.

Phyllis: Than-- um, okay. Wow. Are you sure it's not gonna be a problem?

Victor: It is not gonna be a problem. Certainly not where you and your son are concerned.

Phyllis: Okay, 'cause I don't want to cause any turmoil.

Victor: You wonít. Okay?

Phyllis: Okay. I'm pretty overwhelmed by this.

Phyllis: Anyway... thank you. Okay. Um, I want you to know, it's just temporary.

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Phyllis: And, um, I'm not gonna take advantage because you've gone out of your way for me. So, uh, I'm just gonna be here until I can make other arrangements. Um, I... you're doing me a very big favor. You know that, don't you?

Victor: No, actually, you're doing me a favor.

Phyllis: Yeah. Because you hate to see the place just sit empty, right?

Victor: Right. So why don't you pick up the keys from security? And, uh, they'll open the place for you. You can move in anytime you feel like it.

Phyllis: Okay. Oh, my gosh. I'm gonna stay... can I give my landlord a hug?

Victor: You certainly can.

Phyllis: Okay, cool. (Laughs) thank you. Oh, my gosh.

(Knock on door)

Cameron: Hey, perfect timing.

Sharon: What do you mean?

Cameron: Well, I just ordered some room service. Plenty for two.

Sharon: I already ate.

Cameron: Hey. You seem a little tense. What's up?

Sharon: Can you blame me? You gave me a lot to think about last night.

Cameron: And?

Sharon: I've made a decision.

Cameron: Be still my heart.

Sharon: I'm gonna take you up on your offer.

Cameron: You'll do it? You'll fly away with me to paradise?

Sharon: I'm gonna leave the children with Nick.

Cameron: Why? I told you you could bring 'em along.

Sharon: No. This is my mess. Why should two innocent children suffer? It's hard enough they're losing their mother.

Cameron: Ah... how do I know this isn't some kind of trick, huh?

Sharon: I just told you I'd give up everything for you. You're accusing me of tricking you? Look, just forget-- forget it, okay?

Cameron: All right. Hey, Sharon, Sharon, Sharon, wait a second. Listen... I'm sorry. I guess I never allowed myself to believe that you would, uh...

Sharon: That I would surrender? You didn't leave me a whole lot of choices. Congratulations, Cameron. You've won. You're gonna get everything you wanted.

Cameron: You won't regret this. I promise you. Hey... I know it's not perfect. But I will devote every minute of my life to making you happy. I swear.

Sharon: I'm not gonna pretend like I'm suddenly in love with you.

Cameron: I'm not asking you to. Like I told you last night, love will come with time. Eventually you'll realize what I already know. We were meant to be together.

Sharon: I can be ready to go by tomorrow night.

Cameron: No, no, that's not gonna work.

Sharon: What do you mean?

Cameron: If we're gonna do this, we do it now. We walk out of this hotel, and we go straight to the airport and board my jet. I love you, Sharon, but I'm not waiting one minute longer. So either we go together now or, honey, I go alone.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

J.T.: Raul has some big news.

Hank: Mr. Newman, I have to go by the book.

Nick: Even if that means a man's gonna get away with murder?

Bobby: Mr. Newman, welcome to Marsinoís.
