Nick: Don't start yelling. I know I shoulda talked to you first before we came here.

Michael: Look, I would never have allowed this-- all right, all right. You know, I understand your reasons.

Nick: Weber made it very clear-- we either come to him, or he was gonna go to us, and I didn't want him out at the house again.

Michael: Well, given Sharonís arrest, I have to assume he's on solid ground, so who knows? It might have turned out the same either way.

Nick: What about bail?

Michael: I can't arrange anything until tomorrow morning. It shouldn't be a problem. How much have you told Weber?

Nick: Not a whole lot.

Michael: Well, good. Not another word from either of you unless I'm present.

Nick: That's fine. Now I gotta get outta here. I gotta go talk to Cassie before she hears about this from somebody else.

Michael: Oh. She doesn't know Barrittís her biological father?

Nick: No. And it's gonna be a real rough way for her to find out. Just, please, take care of my wife, all right? I gotta get to Cassie.

Brad: There we go. You ready? One, two, three! Good job.

Abby: That was fun, Mommy.

Ashley: Oh, you think so, huh? Well, you seem to, uh, get along well with the doctors.

Brad: You did a great job answering their questions, sweetheart.

Abby: Uh-huh. And I didn't even get confused at all. I just called Daddy "Daddy number one" and Victor "Daddy number two."

Ashley: You know what? You don't have to call Victor "Daddy." I mean, if you wanted to call Victor "Victor," that would be okay if you wanted to do that.

Bobby: But I kinda like it. Does this mean I can ride his horses now?

Brad: Well, we haven't, uh, decided that yet.

Ashley: Hey, want some ice cream?

Abby: Can I have chocolate?

Ashley: Oh, I don't know why you can't have chocolate.

Gina: Wait a minute. Did I hear the word "chocolate"?

Brad: Mmm.

Abby: Gina!

Gina: Hey! You brought my best girlfriend.

Brad: Your best girlfriend takes her ice cream very seriously. Don't you, sweetheart?

Gina: Mmm.

Brad: Mm-hmm. Oh, oh, Gina, hurry! Get her to the kitchen before she shakes her head off.

Gina: (Laughs)

Abby: Don't be silly, Daddy! I wouldn't do that.

Brad: (Laughs)

Gina: Well, it looks like I'm gonna have to make you a chocolate sundae, or, if you keep shaking, a chocolate milkshake. Come on. Let's go!

Brad: Hey, bring me some.

Jack: Katherine's in rehab?

Jill: Mm-hmm. She checked herself in this morning.

Jack: Well, that's great. Good for Katherine. Good for you.

Jill: Well, thank you. Who knows? It might be a whole new beginning for us.

Jack: Well, let's hope so. You both deserve it. Want more coffee?

Jill: No, thank you.

Jack: Oh? That mean you're calling it a night?

Jill: I'm afraid so. I gotta get some reading done tonight.

Jack: Now what is this reading?

Jill: Katherine needed me to sit in on a board meeting for her. So I thought I'd brush up a little bit, remind myself exactly what it is that Chancellor industry does.

Jack: Really?

Jill: Mm-hmm.

Jack: Have you been there recently?

Jill: Just to pick this up.

Jack: God, I haven't been there in years. What's it like?

Jill: (Chuckles) it's kinda musty. You know, it's like everything runs on a well-worn track.

Jack: Well, that could be good, or that could be bad.

Jill: Well, I think it's good. As far as I know, Katherineís been getting her regular disbursements of profits every quarter like clockwork.

Jack: So you gonna go in and shake up her board a little?

Jill: Oh, lord, no. I'm just gonna sit there and try not to fall asleep, I think.

Jack: Ah, hey, let's not talk that down. Let's hope Katherine Chancellor's company does very, very well. It's gonna be yours one day.

Damon: I don't think it would be a miracle at all.

Phyllis: You don't?

Damon: What, that your own son might actually find it in his heart to love you? Why would it be?

Phyllis: Really?

Damon: When have I ever lied to you?

Phyllis: Never. And now wouldn't be a good time to start.

Damon: So believe me. It'll happen.

Phyllis: Well, when and if it does happen, I'll be the happiest woman in the world.

Damon: Oh, really? You're quite sure?

Phyllis: Yeah. Why do you say that?

Damon: Well, you know, this parenting teenagers, it's new to you.

Phyllis: Oh!

Damon: It will bring on a whole new world of demands.

Phyllis: You know what I say? I say bring it on.

Danny: You're right. I mean, this is a great idea.

Chris: It's called cooking therapy.

Danny: Oh, I prefer to think of it as homicide prevention. (Laughs)

Chris: As soon as we get some pasta in you, you will forget all about Phyllis.

Danny: Oh, if it were only that simple.

Chris: Why don't you go open some wine? I'll get started.

Danny: Okay.

Chris: Okay.

Danny: Daniel, you're back. What are you doing?

Daniel: What's it look like I'm doing?

Chris: Packing.

Danny: Son, what's going on?

Daniel: I'm getting the hell away from you. Both of you.

Brad: This isn't getting any easier for me, Ash. Every time Abby refers to Newman as "Daddy," it's like a knife in my heart.

Ashley: I know. Look, it's terrible. But she's not trying to hurt you.

Brad: I-I know that. Of course I know that.

Ashley: I know how difficult this is.

Brad: I donít... I don't think you do. If you did... no sense going back over that, now is there?

Ashley: I did what I had to do.

Brad: And now we're having to deal with the consequences.

Ashley: Well, the doctor said that Abbyís doing remarkably well considering the situation she's in. Even your doctor said that it wouldn't be bad for Abby to have visits with Victor.

Brad: Yeah, well, that doesn't make me feel any better. It doesn't matter, though, does it? We have to go ahead with this. We don't have a choice.

Ashley: Well, I think the compromise the doctors came up with is a good one.

Brad: Our being present while Newman has his little visits.

Ashley: Mm-hmm. But victor's not gonna like it. I already know that.

Brad: Well, that's too damn bad. This isn't a one-way street, Ash. Newman's going to have to give his fair share. Lord knows I've had to give mine.

Jack: Chancellor Industries. Must be nice to walk around a place where everyone isn't trying to just keep their head above water. That creates a very hectic situation, as you know.

Jill: Hectic is one thing, but to fire the C.E.O., who's also the son of the founder, is just plain cold-blooded.

Jack: Sweetheart, sweetheart, I appreciate your support. I do. What's done is done. I'm fine. In fact, I'm looking forward to the change. New horizons.

Jill: Please don't try that with me.

Jack: Try what?

Jill: This act of yours. This pretending that you're not devastated. Jack, I know how you loved Jabot. I know how you put your heart and your soul into that company.

Jack: That's right, I did. And now it's time to move on.

Jill: Good for you.

Jack: Yes, good for me. Allow me to feel good. Allow me to feel good for you.

Jill: What about?

Jack: Well, your inheritance.

Jill: Oh.

Jack: Sleepy old, highly-profitable chancellor industries. Congratulations.

Jill: Thank you very much. You know what? I really don't need to do that reading tonight. I can do it tomorrow morning. Why don't you come over to the house? Dad and Esther are out for the night. We'll have the whole place to ourselves.

Jack: No, thanks.

Jill: Come on, Jack. It's a beautiful night. We can have another swim. You remember our swim?

Jack: How could I forget?

Jill: Well, then come on. What are we waiting for? Let's go.

Jack: You do know how to push a guy's buttons.

Jill: (Laughs)

Jack: On second thought, let's make it a little later, okay?

Jill: How long has she been there?

Jack: I don't know. But I have a few things to say to my sister.

Jill: No, no, no, no, don't do that. That'll spoil your evening.

Jack: Don't worry. I will be fine. You go along. Have a good evening.

Jill: All right, but you don't know what you're missing.

Jack: Oh, I do. And believe me, I'll be missing it. I'll make it up to you next time.

Jill: You better. Thanks for dinner.

Jack: My pleasure.

Jill: Don't I wish.

Michael: Detective... I understand you're holding Sharon Newman on suspicion of murder.

Hank: That's right.

Michael: I assume you have probable cause.

Hank: Well, counselor, she wouldn't be here if we didnít.

Michael: Mm-hmm. Well, I'd like to see her, Detective, now.

Hank: Stryker, yeah, uh, listen, I'm sending down an attorney to see Mrs. Newman. Please extend him every courtesy, all right? Thanks. Satisfied?

Michael: I know the way. Thank you.

Sharon: (Thinking) I agreed to let him walk me up to my room. I let him, uh...

Michael: You had intercourse.

Sharon: He got violent out of nowhere.

Michael: Why bring this up now? Why dredge it all up?

Sharon: He's in Nick's office. They're there right now.

Sharon: Nicholas Newman is my husband.

Cameron: You know, I wasn't even looking forward to this meeting that much. But, uh, now that I know you're gonna be there, I'm actually very excited about it. What I want is you.

Sharon: I'm not gonna listen to any more of this because I am not that person, and it could never be that way again. Stop threatening me.

Cameron: We had great sex. I'm leaving for the motel. You be there in a half-hour, or your marriage is over by the end of January.

Cameron: Sit down.

Sharon: Aah!

Cameron: Come here! Ohh! Aah! Oh.

Sharon: This man that you-- you say you're in love with, who--who is he? What is his name?

Grace: Cameron Kirsten.

Sharon: I killed him. Aah!

Sharon: I have to see Cameronís body.

Nikki: Oh!

Sharon: Aah!

Man: We've got a possible I.D. On that floater. Barritt. Frank Barritt.

Nikki: So that bastard was framing you for murder.

Hank: We found a body wrapped in a sheet. The luminol test revealed the word "Sharon" written on the sheet crudely, probably with a finger, in blood.

Cameron: Gotcha.

Danny: Daniel, come on. We can talk this through.

Chris: At least wait until morning.

Daniel: You know, I don't take orders from you, lady.

Danny: Hey, now listen here--

Daniel: No, no, no, or you. I'm outta here.

Danny: Hey, wait, wait. Just--just stop for a second. You're not leaving at this hour until you tell me where you're going.

Daniel: Fine. You guys wanna know? I'm goin' to stay with Mom. Now you have any more questions?

Damon: I'm happy for you, Phyllis.

Phyllis: You are?

Damon: Yes, you know I am.

Phyllis: Oh, Damon, I just never believed in my wildest dreams that my son would want to spend all this time with me.

Damon: Yeah, well, you shoulda dreamed bigger because he's gonna be here in about two minutes.

Phyllis: I know he is. Oh, and I'm gonna-- I'm gonna make this work, all right? I mean, I'm gonna show him what a real mom is like and be a stabilizing force in his life. And--and I just want this to go right in every way, you know?

Damon: And how could it not?

Phyllis: Well, you know, all the things in the past, everything that happened.

Damon: W-would you please stop bringing that up and just be grateful that you have this divine second chance to put it all behind you? Could you do that?

Phyllis: I don't know. What about you?

Damon: Me?

Phyllis: Yeah. I mean, honestly, what about you? Do you have a problem with him staying here? Because if you do, we can find another place. Seriously, Damon.

Damon: Shut up. (Chuckles) your baby is callin' out to you. He needs you. Now you thought this wasn't at all possible, and yet, here it is.

Phyllis: I know. Oh, I've been given a second chance.

Damon: Yes, you have. And you need to grab hold of it. How could anyone not understand that?

Phyllis: (Giggles)

Sharon: Michael. Thank God you've come.

Michael: Well...

Sharon: Have you seen Nicholas?

Michael: Just a minute ago.

Sharon: Where was he?

Michael: He was headed home to be with your kids.

Sharon: Oh, God. I can't believe what's happening to me.

Michael: Come on. Just be strong, Sharon. We're gonna sort this out, okay?

Sharon: Detective Weber actually thinks that I murdered Frank Barritt.

Michael: Well, we're gonna prove he's wrong.

Sharon: Well, how? He has evidence, he says.

Michael: Manufactured evidence, obviously.

Sharon: I'm just so afraid of how Cassie's gonna take this. You know, we were going to tell her that Frank was her biological father, but before we had the chance--

Michael: Sharon, Sharon, Cassie's a tough kid. Hmm?

Sharon: I hope so, because she's gonna have a lot to deal with. When can I be with her again?

Michael: Unfortunately, you're gonna have to spend the night here.

Sharon: In jail?

Michael: I can't get a bond hearing until tomorrow morning. Now let's focus. You tell me how much Weber knows.

Sharon: Only what Nick and I told him, which is not very much. I mean, he knows about my relationship with Frank, obviously.

Michael: Did you mention Cameron Kirsten?

Sharon: No. Do you think I should have?

Cassie: Okay. We could ask Nikki for help or Miguel.

Noah: Mom and Dad are gonna be so surprised.

Cassie: Well, that's the point, silly. And remember not to say anything.

Noah: I can keep a secret.

Cassie: Yeah, right. (Door opens)

Nick: What are you guys up to?

Noah: Nothing, Daddy.

Cassie: Yeah. We're just trying to decide what video to watch.

Noah: Can we watch that cartoon?

Cassie: Again?

Nick: Look, I'll tell you what, buddy. I need to talk to your sister. Can you go upstairs and watch whatever you want?

Noah: Okay.

Cassie: Dad, is something wrong?

Nick: Yeah, actually, there is. It has to do with your mother.

Cassie: What about her?

Nick: Well, there's, uh, just no easy way to say this, so... your mother's been arrested.

Cassie: What?

Ashley: The kind of relationship that Victor wants with Abby is not going to be achieved with us hovering in the background.

Brad: Can't say I have a problem with that. Abby's my daughter, and she always will be.

Ashley: Of course. But we have to come up with something that's gonna work in the long term.

Brad: How long do you think these visits will go on?

Ashley: I don't know, as long as they have to.

Brad: Meaning forever?

Ashley: I-I suppose so, Brad.

Brad: No, no, no, Ash. You know what? It doesn't matter what you say to me. I am not going to be okay with this.

Ashley: I'm sorry.

Brad: I'm sorry. You have no idea how sorry. Because the beautiful life we had, the beautiful life I wanted for us and for our family... I don't know if it can ever be the same. (Footsteps approaching)

Ashley: Hi! Did you have your ice cream?

Abby: Uh-huh. Daddy, will you come in the playroom with me?

Brad: Yeah, you bet I'll come to the playroom with you. Let's go.

Gina: (Laughs)

Ashley: Thanks, Gina.

Gina: You're welcome.

Abby: This looks like fun.

Sharon: I just wish that I could tell Detective Weber the truth. I am so sick and tired of keeping all these secrets.

Michael: No, no, you can't tell Detective Weber the truth. You would just be giving the police more ammunition. Now did Weber tell you what kind of evidence they have?

Sharon: He said that they found my name written in blood on the sheet that Frank's body was wrapped in. And they used, uh...

Michael: Uh, luminol.

Sharon: Yeah, luminol.

Michael: Well, obviously, Kirsten hasn't missed a trick. I'm surprised he hasn't had your social security number tattooed to Barrittís forehead.

Sharon: Michael, I think my only chance of getting out of this is to tell them about Cameron. Maybe they can scare a confession out of him.

Michael: Look, look, after all the trouble the man's gone through to make sure the finger is pointed at you, I'd say it's highly unlikely the man's gonna do any confessing.

Sharon: Well, what am I supposed to do?

Michael: Nothing... for now. Making rash and hasty decisions is how you got in trouble in the first place.

Sharon: So I just sit here and let them think I'm guilty of murder.

Michael: Look... you give me tonight at least to assess our options. You can do that, huh, hang on until morning?

Sharon: Yeah.

Cassie: Wait, Mom's been arrested? Is she in jail?

Nick: Yeah. Just for one night, we hope.

Cassie: But why?

Nick: For something she didn't do. It's all a big mistake.

Cassie: Dad, I can handle it. Tell me.

Nick: All right. Your mom, uh, she didn't do anything wrong, but she's being accused of killing someone.

Cassie: What, you mean murder? Who accused her?

Nick: It's just a bad man who's trying to pin a crime on your mother.

Cassie: What's his name? Wait, is it that creepy Frank guy who came here last year?

Nick: Why would you ask that?

Cassie: Well, because Mom got so upset when she saw him. She wouldn't tell me where she knew him from, only that he was someone from her past. Well, and then after that, she acted weird for awhile.

Nick: Um, no, it's not him. The guy who's trying to hurt your mother is somebody you've met a couple times. His name's Cameron Kirsten. Do you remember?

Cassie: The guy you were going to work for?

Nick: Right. Now listen to me. It's very important that you don't tell anyone what I've just told you.

Cassie: I wonít. I wonít. But I just don't get it. Why would Mr. Kirsten want the police to think that Mom killed somebody? What, does he hate our family or something?

Nick: It's a long story.

Cassie: Well, you still haven't told me who was killed.

Nick: It's actually the guy that you were talking about earlier-- Frank Barritt.

Cassie: Wow. Well, the police must have found out that Mom didn't like him. Wait, is that what happened? Is that why they arrested Mom?

Nick: That's only a small part of it.

Cassie: What's the rest?

Nick: There's something you should know about Frank Barritt. It's the reason your mother got into that argument with him at that boutique, why she was so shaken up.

Cassie: Well, what reason?

Nick: It has to do with you.

Cassie: Me?

Nick: You know that I consider you my daughter in every way that counts, right?

Cassie: Yeah.

Nick: I love you so much, and that's why I adopted you. But I know you know your mother had you long before she met me.

Cassie: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Frank's my real dad, isn't he? That's what you're trying to tell me.

Ashley: Hi.

Jack: Well, hiya, sis.

Ashley: Care if I join you?

Jack: Suit yourself.

Ashley: So how are you?

Jack: You really care?

Ashley: Jack, come on, you know I do.

Jack: Tell me something, how's all that money workin' for you? Was it worth sacrificing your own brother?

Ashley: That's not fair. You know we were backed into a corner. I'm sorry it worked out the way it did.

Jack: Yeah, me, too.

Ashley: So how are you? I mean, really, how are you?

Jack: I'm fine.

Ashley: You sure?

Jack: Yes, Ash, I'm sure. I'm fine. Hey, you did me a favor. My golf game's never been better.

Michael: Uh, Sharon, bear with me for a moment here. I have to ask you something.

Sharon: What?

Michael: If there's anything, anything at all that you need to tell me or you haven't told me, now is the time.

Sharon: I swear it. You know it all.

Michael: Good enough.

Sharon: I shoulda done what you said all those months ago when you told me to go to the police.

Michael: Hindsight's always twenty-twenty, kiddo.

Sharon: But still, um, if I had, Cameron might not have had time to build all this evidence against me.

Michael: Sharon, you're innocent. You didn't kill anyone. Try and have a little faith in the system. Can you do that? Now... you'll be okay for tonight?

Sharon: Yeah.

Michael: All right. In the morning, there'll be a bond hearing, and then I'll get you out of here and home with your family.

Sharon: Thank you, Michael. Don't worry I I'll... I'll be fine.

Michael: Of course you will.

Michael: Guard. (Cell door clangs shut)

Nick: Yeah. Frank's your biological father. I know this must be a terrible shock. I understand how you must feel.

Cassie: Wait a second. I don't feel anything. I mean, why should I? I only talked to the guy for about ten minutes total.

Nick: I know, but someday, you may have wanted to get to know him better, and now you won't be able ..

Cassie: Why would I want to know him? It's not like he's anything special. He abandoned my mom when she got pregnant. That's a pretty rotten thing to do if you ask me.

Nick: Look, its okay if you're angry with Frank. I know better than anyone what it's like to be angry with your father.

Cassie: I guess you do, but Frank was never a Father to me the way Victor is to you.

Nick: Yeah, but, you know, this guy didn't deserve this. He was a young man. He had his whole life ahead of him.

Cassie: I can't believe you're saying this stuff.

Nick: Why?

Cassie: I-I don't know. I just--I just thought...

Nick: That I'd be jealous or that I would hate him?

Cassie: Wait, you don't?

Nick: No. In fact, I'll always be grateful to the man.

Cassie: Grateful?

Nick: Yeah. If he hadn't have been a part of your mother's life, then I wouldn't have you-- my little girl.

Cassie: You're afraid for Mom, aren't you?

Nick: Yeah. But it's gonna be okay. We're gonna get through this.

Cassie: I hope so.

Nick: We will. I just need you to trust me.

Cassie: I do trust you, Daddy. I know how much you love Mom.

Nick: Yeah, I do, and you and Noah. You guys mean everything to me. You're my whole world.

Cassie: I'm sorry for what you're going through.

Nick: You don't have to worry about me. I'll be all right.

Cassie: I'm pretty lucky, you know?

Nick: Why?

Cassie: Because I ended up with you. You're my real dad, and you always will be.

Nick: I love you.

Cassie: Love you, too.

Ashley: So you're playing a lot of golf these days, huh?

Jack: I don't have a lot else to do with my day.

Ashley: Well, you look good. You're very tanned, very rested.

Jack: Well, it's a pretty good life. I spend all day out on the links while you spend all day trying to save Jabot. Which must be a bit easier with all of Victor's money.

Ashley: You'd be surprised how little $75 million buys these days.

Jack: But you're out of hot water?

Ashley: For the moment.

Jack: Well, what does that mean? Is there something I don't know?

Ashley: No, we're fine. Jabot's fine. I promise.

Jack: So where's Brad?

Ashley: Uh, he's in the playroom with Abby.

Jack: Ash, what is it? What's wrong?

Ashley: We just came from the child psychologists, and they both agree that it would be okay for Victor to have supervised visits with Abby.

Jack: Meaning you and Brad will be in the room the whole time when he's there?

Ashley: Yeah. Mm-hmm. But Victor's not gonna like that. I already know that.

Jack: Well, who cares what Victor's gonna like? How does your husband like that?

Ashley: He thinks it's better than letting Victor be alone with her.

Jack: Well, I'm sure he'd rather there was no visitation at all.

Ashley: Yeah. In the meantime, my little girl has started calling her father "Daddy number one" and Victor "Daddy number two."

Jack: Oh, God.

Ashley: I don't know what to do. You tell me, what's the right thing for me to do?

Chris: You're staying with Phyllis?

Danny: When did this get decided?

Daniel: Today.

Danny: I don't believe this.

Daniel: Well, you know, it sure beats sticking around here.

Chris: Daniel, why don't you just think about what you're doing?

Daniel: Look, can you just save it, all right?

Danny: No, it's not all right. Now where are you staying with Phyllis?

Daniel: I'm staying at her friend Damonís place.

Danny: No, you're not.

Chris: She isn't even divorced from Jack yet.

Danny: I don't know this guy. I'm not gonna allow it.

Daniel: I've met him, and he's fine.

Danny: Daniel, you don't know these people. They're practically strangers to you.

Daniel: She's my mother.

Danny: Yeah, you've talked to her, what, two or three times maybe?

Chris: You don't know her the way we do.

Daniel: You have never liked her. I mean, you are such a control freak, but you know what? I'm grown-up now, and you can't stop me.

Danny: No, I can't? You put that bag down right now. You're not leaving this apartment. Do you hear me?

Daniel: (Chuckles) what are you gonna do, Dad? You gonna take me down?

Chris: Danny, just let him go.

Danny: No way.

Chris: Well, you can't force him to stay here.

Danny: I will if I have to. I'll call the police, whatever it takes.

Daniel: You know what? Go ahead see how far that gets you.

Danny: Daniel, you're 16 years old. You're a minor. I am your legal guardian. Do you understand what that means?

Daniel: Yeah, I understand that they can lock me up, 'cause I'd be happier there.

Danny: Why are you doing this? I know you're angry, okay? I know you're angry. But we can work this out. Just give me a chance.

Daniel: What about Mom? What about giving her a chance? I mean, you've been harping on me about getting to know her before I even came here. Well, okay, so now I want to do that. I want to stay with her tonight. And you start yelling about calling the police?

Chris: So is this just for one night? Will you tell us when you're coming home?

Daniel: Why? So you can get your hooks back in me?

Danny: Daniel--

Daniel: No! This is not my home. You are not my mother. You can't screw up my family anymore. Just stay out of my life.

Phyllis: Hey, you know, I just looked in the fridge, and what do kids like-- fruit punch and stuff? Because we just have sparkling water and herbal iced tea.

Damon: Hey, relax, all right? We'll get some food in the refrigerator for Daniel. What you want, some soda or something? May I suggest something without caffeine, please? So the both of you ain't bouncin' off the walls.

Phyllis: I know. I'm kinda bein' a freak, aren't I?

Damon: You think?

Phyllis: You know something that might calm me down? Do you know what that is? You know, maybe-- maybe we should think about calming me down, you know, before Daniel gets here... you know?

Damon: You know, that ain't never calmed you down before.

Phyllis: (Giggles)

Phyllis: Do you know how much you mean to me? I mean, really? 'Cause I don't know where I'd be or really what I'd be if it weren't for you.

Phyllis: It's so peaceful and calming in your arms. So peaceful. It makes me believe that everything's gonna be all right.

Damon: You know what?

Phyllis: What?

Damon: It will be. Everything... everything's gonna be just fine.

Jack: What do you do? Ash, I can't tell you how to handle this.

Ashley: I just have this horrible feeling that no matter what I do, I'm gonna look back someday and realize I should have done something completely different, only it's gonna be too late.

Jack: Ash, Ash, Ash, no. That's not gonna happen.

Ashley: You don't know that.

Jack: I do know that. No matter what Victor does in terms of custody, Abby is still the luckiest girl in the world. She has you as a mother. Victor can never take that from her.

Ashley: Thanks for saying that.

Jack: Don't thank me. I'm still mad at you.

Ashley: Well, at least you don't hate me.

Jack: I could never hate you. God knows I've tried.

Ashley: (Chuckles) I better go find Brad.

Jack: Yeah.

Ashley: I'm glad we had this talk, Jackie.

Jack: You hang in there, huh?

Ashley: Oh, yeah, I will. You too. See ya.

(Door opens)

Sharon: Oh, Nick.

Nick: How you doin', sweetheart?

Sharon: Oh, I'm so scared.

Guard: No touching allowed, ma'am. Keep your hands inside the cell. I'll be right over here watching. Remember, no physical contact.

Sharon: Did you tell Cassie?

Nick: Yeah.

Sharon: Everything?

Nick: She knows the whole story.

Sharon: About Frank?

Nick: Yeah.

Sharon: Oh. I should be with her.

Nick: You'll be home tomorrow.

Sharon: How did she take it?

Nick: Better than I ever I imagined.

Sharon: Nick, I'm so sorry. Will you ever forgive me?

Nick: Oh, babe, there's nothing to forgive.

Sharon: But I've brought you and your family so much heartache.

Nick: No, Sharon, it wasn't you. It was Cameron Kirsten.

Sharon: You must be ashamed of me.

Nick: I love you. Remember, for better or worse?

Sharon: I'm gonna miss you--

Guard: No touching.

Sharon: I'm gonna miss you so much tonight.

Nick: I'm gonna miss you, too.

Sharon: It's so lonely here without you. God, I wish I could sleep in your arms tonight.

Nick: Hey, you'll be in my arms. You just close your eyes, and I'll be there, all right?

Sharon: I love you.

Nick: I love you, too.

Sharon: Tell me it's forever.

Nick: Yeah, forever and ever.

Guard: Time's about up, lovebirds.

Nick: All right. Stay tough, all right?

Sharon: Okay.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Raul: I can't live under the same roof as Brittany. I canít. I can't do it.

Daniel: Mom, after breakfast, should we start looking for a place together?

Cameron: You got me, Detective.

Hank: Are you confessing?
