Sharon: Why would you want to talk to Grace?

Nick: Because she might be able to tell us something about Cameron.

Sharon: No, Nick, I don't think that's smart.

Nick: Do you have a better idea?

Sharon: Well, what about your plan to go to work for him?

Nick: That's gonna take time. Grace may be able to help us right now.

Sharon: I just-- I hate getting her involved.

Nick: Sharon, she's already involved. She's sleeping with the guy.

Sharon: Well, that doesn't mean she knows anything, like whose body that is down in the sewer. Your mom said she was totally stunned when she mentioned that corpse. It was the first she'd ever heard of it.

Nick: Which only proves she has no clue how dangerous this guy really is. Sharon, Cameron may have committed murder. Don't you think she'd want to know about that? Wouldn't you?

Sharon: She's not gonna tell us anything. Grace doesn't trust us.

Nick: Well, then we have to prove that we trust her.

Sharon: How?

Nick: I think we should tell her everything.

(Telephone rings) (Ring)

Cassie: Hello.

Cameron: Nikki?

Cassie: No, I'm sorry. It's Cassie. Can I take a message?

Cameron: No, no, that's okay. How about Victor? Anyone else home?

Cassie: Sorry. Just me.

Cameron: Wait a minute. Did you say "Cassie"?

Cassie: Yeah.

Cameron: Oh, my gosh. Well, listen, you probably don't remember me, but I'm an old friend of your Grandfatherís.

Cassie: You mean Victor.

Cameron: Yeah, that's right. He's always going on and on about how beautiful and intelligent you are. Well, we meet at last.

Cassie: You know, I'm sorry. I don't think I--

Cameron: I'm about to head into a meeting. Is Victor at his office?

Cassie: No, he's probably at the rec center.

Cameron: Shoot. How can I get a hold of Nikki?

Cassie: Well, she'll be back here soon.

Cameron: You mean back at the ranch?

Cassie: Uh-huh.

Cameron: Well, well, I'll probably catch up with her there. How about you? You gonna be there later on? I'd love to meet you in person.

Cassie: I am actually on my way out, but if you stop by the rec center, you'll probably run into both Victor and me.

Cameron: Well, maybe I'll do that after I see Nikki.

Cassie: I'll tell her you left a message, mister...

Cameron: Oh, you know what? Don't worry about leaving any messages. I know you're in a hurry. Well, listen, Cassie, I've got to run into that meeting. It was great talking to you, and I'll see you soon, okay? Bye-bye.

Cassie: But...

Cameron: Well, well, well. Soon to be home alone, eh, Nikki?

Grace: Hey, handsome. I was hoping I'd find you here.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brad: Obviously, we came at a bad time.

Victor: Obviously.

Nikki: We can finish this discussion later.

Ashley: Would you like us to leave?

Nikki: No, no. We really--we're done for now, aren't we?

Victor: Yeah.

Ashley: Victor, could I speak with you in the boardroom for a moment before you go back to work?

Victor: All right.

Nikki: Well, you look very serious. What's on your mind, Brad?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raul: You really do love him, don't you?

Brittany: Why are you asking me that?

Raul: Answer the question.

Brittany: I canít.

Raul: What, you think I'm gonna be shocked, or do you really not know?

Brittany: Maybe both.

Raul: Okay, that's a cop-out. That's a cop-out.

Brittany: Can we please talk about something else?

Raul: Sure. Let's talk about your scar.

Brittany: Why?

Raul: Those treatments that I was reading about, you know, there's gotta be one that is gonna work for you. Maybe a couple, a combination, you know? We just gotta find the right one that's gonna do it for you. It's gonna take a lot of research and time and commitment.

Brittany: Raul, what is it with you? One minute you're handing me over to another man like I'm some Christmas present, and the next minute you're talking about holding my hand while we find a way to get rid of my scar.

Raul: Hey, calm down. It just makes sense.

Brittany: No, it doesnít.

Raul: Yes, sure. I made a deal to see you through this scar thing.

Brittany: A deal? With who?

Raul: Myself. You got hurt on my watch, and I can't just walk away and let you handle it on your own.

Brittany: What are you, a saint?

Raul: Yeah, yeah, that's what I am, Brittany.

Brittany: You're not mad at me?

Raul: You bet I'm mad. I wanted you to love me forever.

Brittany: Raul, okay, I get it. You're still bugged about what happened at the diner when I walked out and left you there.

Raul: It's you and Bobby now. And you and I are gonna be going our separate ways pretty soon.

Brittany: You make it sound so final.

Raul: It is. We just have one last issue to wrap up before we say our good-byes.

Brittany: What?

Raul: Your scar. We're gonna get rid of it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hank: I would have worded this a little differently.

Michael: That's because you're not a lawyer.

Hank: Oh, so you expect the judge to accept this?

Michael: If you sign off on it, yes. At least that's my hope.

Hank: Mr. Fisher, its one thing for us to drop the charges relating to the incident at Marsinoís.

Kevin: Well, I didn't do that.

Michael: Stop it.

Hank: But it's quite another to drop the assault charges stemming from the incident at the hospital.

Kevin: Thank you, detective. I appreciate it so much. Happy?

Michael: And for you to ask for leniency from the court in the matter of my client's bail jumping, that is generous in the extreme.

Hank: Don't overdo the gratitude, Mr. Baldwin. We all know why I'm being so reasonable.

Michael: Look, Hank, I'm leaving an opening here. I'm trying to make this a positive experience for all of us. Why not accept our thanks?

Hank: Because I don't like having my arm twisted, Mr. Baldwin, and you're twisting very hard.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cameron: Honey, honey, I can't stay. I need to be somewhere.

Grace: Oh, no, you donít. I want you to be with me now.

Cameron: Gracie, sweetie--

Grace: Honey, you cannot be in that big a hurry.

Cameron: It's business.

Grace: What kind of business?

Cameron: It is personal, private, very significant business.

Grace: Oh, please. You've already hired Nicholas. Sharon's right where you want her. We can finally be together as much as we want.

Cameron: Mmm. Baby, it's a bad time. I gotta go.

Grace: Are you trying to send me a message, after all we've been through?

Cameron: Grace, why do you do this?

Grace: You know, there was a time when you couldn't get enough of making love to me. Now it's like every minute is a minute too long.

Cameron: You're imagining things.

Grace: Am I?

Cameron: Yeah.

Grace: What's really going on, Cameron?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sharon: You can't be serious.

Nick: I know it sounds crazy. Just hear me out.

Sharon: You mean tell Grace everything-- what happened in Denver, New Yearís Eve, hiding the body--all of it?

Nick: I think we have to.

Sharon: Why, so she can run to Cameron and blab everything?

Nick: Grace won't do that.

Sharon: How do you know?

Nick: Because I know her, Sharon, and so do you. Yes, she manipulates. Yes, she lies, but murder? Sharon, she would never get involved in something like that.

Sharon: I wonder.

Nick: Well, donít. Cameron is using her. I don't know why yet, but when she finds out what type of guy he is--

Sharon: She'll what, bend over backwards to help us?

Nick: One thing Grace is big on is payback.

Sharon: Talk about making a deal with the devil

Nick: Just think about how much easier this will be with her on our side.

Sharon: Grace will never be on our side.

Nick: Sharon, I don't like this much either, but we don't have a lot of options here. Grace has the one thing that we need, and that is access to Cameron.

Sharon: I still say this is too risky.

Nick: All right, well, think about it this way then-- let's say we don't do anything, and something happens to Grace. You know better than anyone what this sicko is capable of. One day he snaps, and then Grace gets hurt or worse. How would that make you feel?

Sharon: She won't believe us. She's in love with him. Anything we tell her, she will just explain it away or ignore it.

Nick: Okay. Well, then maybe we shouldn't be the ones to talk to her.

Sharon: What do you mean?

Nick: You have a point. No matter what we say to Grace, she's gonna be hostile and defensive because it's coming from us.

Sharon: So you think someone else should do it? Who?

Nick: How about michael baldwin? He and Grace used to be close. They still get along. Baldwin knows the whole story. Maybe he'd have better luck with her. I'm gonna call him.

Sharon: Wait.

Nick: Sharon, we have to do this. We have to do this now.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mac: Get up!

Mac: This thing weighs a ton!

Daniel: Yeah, well, they should've got a dolly or something.

Sierra: What, like, out of thin air?

Mac: Yeah, Danielís a magician. Didn't you know that?

Lily: Well, too bad he couldn't have just made it disappear.

Mac: At least it's out of the storage room, though.

Daniel: Oh, what a piece of junk.

Lily: We should empty it, you guys.

Sierra: Yeah. It'll be a lot easier to take downstairs.

Mac: I'm surprised the lock isn't broken.

Daniel: Well, maybe it's just jammed. Let me give it a try.

Mac: Go ahead, muscles.

Sierra: Oh, well.

Daniel: Here's the right tool for the job.

Lily: Uh-oh. Stand back, everyone.

Mac: I wonder why it's locked in the first place.

Sierra: That's a good question.

Lily: Probably petty cash or something.

Sierra: Ooh, you think?

Lily: Well, maybe.

Sierra: Ooh, finders keepers.

Mac: Free lemonade for everyone.

Lily: Oh, and a fan, please.

Sierra: Oh, make that two. No, wait--air conditioner.

Lily: Think big, girl.

Mac: Something tells me that Mr. Newman will take care of that.

Lily: Well, soon, I hope. It's, like, a million degrees in here.

Daniel: Ooh! Yeah! We got it.

Mac: My hero. Got your strawberry tart.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Michael: Hank, why are you looking at this glass as half empty?

Hank: Baldwin, please, don't give me metaphors, okay? This glass is full, and we both know what it's full of. Excuse me, Kevin.

Michael: If you insist.

Hank: This kid has committed more crimes in the last month than half the prison population of this state.

Michael: And how many of them were dragged in on faulty information? How many of them were left unprotected when I warned you that protection was imperative?

Hank: The thugs who beat up your client have been dealt with harshly.

Michael: Why are we even having this discussion? You knew you were putting yourself in a tight spot when you left Kevin alone with those sub-mentals, and if you want to hash this out in court, you be my guest. I'll be right there.

Hank: Maybe I will. Maybe you're ticking me off just enough.

Kevin: Michael, stop it.

Michael: Easy, Kevin. What did I do? You put yourself in this position. You don't like the way it feels? I don't blame you. If I have to sue the entire Genoa City police department right down to their bulletproof underwear so you can go down fighting, be my guest. I'll do it.

Hank: You're trying to get my goat, aren't you? You're hoping I will challenge you in a court battle.

Michael: Maybe. As a lawyer, I lust after cases like this. But as a taxpayer, when you look at it, it's a giant waste of the public's funds. Look, with this case in front of a jury with this sweet, young boy as my victim--look at him. Yeah.

Kevin: (Sniffles)

Michael: You can't win.

Hank: You've already won, Baldwin. Stop crowing about it.

Michael: I'm not enjoying this one bit. Your guys were heavy-handed when they took my client into custody at the jabot boutique, and you should have protected him more when he was in your custody.

Hank: All right. Now can we stop rubbing it in?

Michael: I'm not finished yet. On the other hand, Hank, I believe you to be a good and dedicated peace officer, and on the whole, I wish there were more like you.

Hank: Is this the part where I thank you for the kind compliment?

Michael: Mmm. Why don't you tell me something instead-- how did Bertolli Lewis know about Eddie Praether's activity log? How did he know convince him to get a little fuzzy on the facts?

Hank: All right. For the past few months, we were pretty sure that someone in the department was supplying Lewis with information about ongoing investigations, sting operations, grand jury witnesses.

Michael: And this clinched it?

Hank: That officer's gonna be doing time.

Michael: See? I like this-- you know, bad people going to jail, the good people going free. What a great country we live in, hmm? Well, thank you, detective. It's been a pleasure. Right, Kevin?

Kevin: Yeah. Yup, I love getting beat up.

Michael: Younger generation. No gratitude.

Hank: You know, Kev, I got a couple of other open cases with you as the prime suspect. So don't think for one moment that I'm dropping those.

Kevin: Well, good luck, detective. You got nothing on me.

Michael: Well... have a good day, detective.

Hank: You too.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brad: I see you're looking at our latest sales reports.

Nikki: Yeah, they're not very encouraging.

Brad: This quarter's shaping up to be one of our worst in years.

Nikki: Is that the reason for the gloomy look on your face?

Brad: Hardly.

Nikki: So what's going on? Why did you and Ashley stop by?

Brad: We'd like to talk a little business.

Nikki: Hey, if it's involving getting this company out of the hole we're in, I'm all ears.

Brad: Well, a lot of that depends on you, Nikki. We'd like you to talk to Victor.

Nikki: About what?

Brad: About the damages he owes us for this bribery case. We need your powers of persuasion.

Nikki: And what exactly am I supposed to persuade him to do?

Brad: Settle.

Nikki: Well, yeah. Wow, thatís a great idea. That's a piece of cake. I don't know why I didn't think of it. What would the magic number be in your alternative reality?

Brad: Ash and I would like you to convince Victor to dispose of this matter for $25 million.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Victor: What do you want to talk about?

Ashley: Oh, nothing, really.

Victor: What do you mean, "nothing really"? Why did you ask me to come here?

Ashley: Well, brad had some business to discuss with Nikki. I just wanted to give them some privacy.

Victor: And you wanted me to get as far away from him as possible.

Ashley: Well, you have to admit, if you two are in the same room for more than five minutes, you always manage to argue.

Victor: That is not my doing.

Ashley: That's debatable.

Victor: Did you inform your husband of my chance meeting with Abby at the Athletic Club?

Ashley: Um, not yet. As soon as he finishes speaking with Nikki, it's the first thing I'm going to tell him.

Victor: Any new developments about anything?

Ashley: Nope.

Victor: Why don't you and I agree to disagree about what my role should be in Abbyís life?

Jack: I've already told you what your role should be-- nonexistent.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Girls: (Giggling)

Lily: Junk, junk and more junk.

Sierra: Yeah, really.

Mac: What is all this stuff?

Cassie: Hey, guys, what's up?

Mac: We're emptying out the storage room, throwing stuff away.

Cassie: Anything interesting?

Mac: Not really.

Sierra: Hey, check this out.

Daniel: What is it?

Sierra: It was wedged under a bunch of folders.

Mac: Is that a--

Lily: A home movie film. I remember one Christmas the Abbotts got out this projector they had, and it was so funny watching my Aunt Mamie pushing Jack around in a stroller.

Daniel: Yeah, maybe it's a business thing, like a corporate training film.

Sierra: Like, for the old company that was here?

Daniel: Yeah, it makes sense.

Mac: Hey, guys, I need to go get some stuff done. Can you figure the rest of this out?

Daniel: Yeah, sure, Mac. No problem.

Mac: Thanks.

Lily: (High voice) sure, Mac, no problem! Oh, why don't I carry this outside for you myself? See my biceps?

Sierra: Oh, my hero! You're just so big and strong.

Daniel: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right, guys.

Lily: Oh, what, you're gonna pretend that you don't have a crush on her?

Cassie: Guys, don't tease him.

Lily: Why not, when it's so much fun?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brittany: What is all that stuff?

Raul: Creams, makeup. One of these jars could be a miracle. Your miracle, Brittany.

Brittany: Yeah, right. Like any of that stuff really works.

Raul: Well, you're never gonna know unless you try.

Brittany: So when nothing happens, then what?

Raul: Then you try something else. Look, I've been doing a lot of digging online. And you'd better believe there's some great success stories, like these two creams. These have been very effective for people with similar burns.

Brittany: Yeah, probably one in a hundred.

Raul: So? Who says you can't be that one? Your odds are gonna be zero out of a hundred if you don't try. Look, check this out. This one, "will reach its full potential in eight weeks, but you will notice a difference in only two weeks."

Brittany: Two weeks?

Raul: Yes.

Brittany: Really?

Raul: You apply it twice a day, and... well, there's no guarantees. And no one says that this is gonna make your scar miraculously disappear, but come on. If it helps, why not? Why not give it a shot? Are you with me?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nick: Thanks for getting out here so quickly.

Michael: Uh, I don't mean to be rude, but I had a very trying week. I've got to get back to town, so whatever this is about, if we could get right to it.

Nick: Sure. Sharon and I need your help.

Michael: That's what I figured. I just happened to have these forms in the car. They're relatively straightforward. So if you'll sign 'em, we can get the ball rolling.

Nick: What are these? "Petition for dissolution of marriage"?

Michael: That is why I'm here, isn't it?

Nick: Sharon and I are not getting a divorce.

Michael: Oh, uh, sorry. When I received your phone call, I just assumed... oh, you know, why am I here?

Sharon: I told nick everything-- from Denver on, the whole story.

Michael: I see. Are you sure you won't be needing these?

Nick: No, we don't need those.

Michael: All right. Okay, then.

Nick: Let me get something straight here, all right? I appreciate everything you did. I'm glad that my wife had someone to confide in. But that is over now. I know the situation, and from this point forward, we're gonna handle this my way.

Michael: Is that a warning?

Nick: No, it's a request. There's something I'd like you to do for us.

Michael: Okay.

Nick: It involves Grace Turner.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Grace: You still haven't answered me. I'm waiting, Cameron.

Cameron: I don't owe you any explanation, Grace.

Grace: I feel like you're shutting me out.

Cameron: Well, you're way off base.

Grace: I remember a time when all I had to do was look at you, and we'd be in each others arms. You couldn't get enough of me. Now sometimes when I look at you, I... I'm not quite sure what I see.

Cameron: Oh, yeah? Well, let me tell you something. Maybe if you look a little harder, you'd see that I'm the one who's been carrying the load for both of us throughout this entire thing. You tell me--you tell me you want to punish Sharon. You don't have the stomach to see it through to the end.

Grace: That's just it, there is no end. Nicholas is already under your control, and Sharon is on the edge of a breakdown. You say the plan's working out, but somehow for you it's--

Cameron: Because it is not that simple!

Cameron: I'm just-- I got a lot on my mind, Grace.

Grace: Well, I've got a lot on my mind, too-- like how we'd be off together in some tropical paradise, until you decided to do your stupid move of coming back from the dead.

Cameron: Hey, hey. You don't question my decisions. And you don't demand answers from me. I'm calling the shots here. I decide when we leave. I decide when we are done. And we are not done yet. Now you got that? That clear enough for you?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nikki: Brad, you are dreaming if you think I can get Victor to settle for $25 million.

Brad: You may be our last hope, Nikki. Jabot needs at least that much money to stay afloat for the immediate future. Any less, and we may very well go under.

Nikki: Is that really true?

Brad: You've seen the numbers.

Nikki: Well, Victor can be very stubborn when he's been insulted, particularly by jack.

Brad: Which is exactly why Ash and I feel you're the only member of the board with any chance of getting Victor to change his mind.

Nikki: I think you're overestimating the influence I have over my husband.

Brad: Nikki, you've got to try. The last thing we wanna do is go to court on this. And regardless of his posturing, I think Victor feels the same way.

Nikki: Don't be too sure about that.

Brad: What do you mean?

Nikki: Well, he does want to settle, sooner rather than later, but he is convinced that Jabot is not gonna survive much longer.

Brad: Yeah, well, unfortunately, he may be right.

Nikki: Well, his thinking is just wait, see what happens. If we do go under, a court battle is moot.

Brad: The man loves you. He knows you have a huge personal investment in this company. I think it's time you played that card. We need you to do this, Nikki. All of our futures may be at stake.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ashley: Jack, Victor and I are having a private conversation.

Jack: Not anymore, you're not.

Ashley: I want you to leave right now.

Jack: I just want to know how in god's name you would even consider letting this man be any part of Abbyís life?

Ashley: This is not the time. Trust me.

Jack: It's a simple enough question. You've seen the mess he's made of his own family. You really want Abby exposed to that?

Ashley: Jack, I don't want to talk about this right now. Now please go.

Jack: Are you really gonna defend this jerk? Are you really? What, have you changed sides all of a sudden?

Ashley: I'm not defending anybody. We were having a civil conversation before you--

Jack: You were having a civil conversation with a man who is doing everything he can to destroy your daughter's life.

Ashley: This is not your business, now butt out!

Jack: She's my niece. I'm making it my business.

Victor: What a hypocrite you are. You don't give a damn about the welfare of your niece! You're far more interested in your vendetta against me.

Jack: And you, as usual, are looking out for old number one.

Victor: And what, pray tell, would you have me do, watch the likes of you and Brad Carlton tell my biological daughter what a terrible man I am?

Jack: Hey, if the shoe fits.

Victor: For your information, Jack Abbott, that girl is gonna get to know me, and not through your hateful eyes.

Jack: Oh, give me a break. This is about your ego. You don't care how this affects that girl. Your children are possessions. They're not flesh-and-blood human beings.

Victor: And you're the authority on healthy families, on how to bring up children, is that it?

Jack: My son Kyle is doing just fine, thank you very much.

Victor: Your son Kyle I bet is doing fine because you had very little to do with his upbringing.

Jack: Oh, this I gotta hear from you, a man who was so busy building his empire that Victoria and Nicholas barely got the time of day from him? Your son Nicholas has me to thank for the man he is today. And now all of a sudden you want to be a doting father to Abby. Give me a break.

Victor: Your arrogance is gonna come back to haunt you. I promise you.

Ashley: That was real helpful. Thank you.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raul: There are so many different things we can try, Brittany, and if one's a bust, we just move right on to the next one.

Brittany: Yeah, until we've tried everything.

Raul: Well, maybe we won't have to. Look, these are the two most promising things I found online, but this, this I found out about from some girl in one of my classes.

Brittany: What is it?

Raul: Well, it's a type of concealer. She got mauled by a dog when she was a little kid. She's been using that for years. It blends in perfectly with the tone of your skin.

Brittany: It really works that well?

Raul: I didn't even know she had a scar till she told me. That's how incredible that stuff is. Look, if you want to make your scar less visible... I don't know if that matters to you.

Brittany: Of course it matters to me!

Raul: Then open it. Try it. And I'll tell you what else, we should meet with that plastic surgeon again, the one that we saw. He was very optimistic about what he could do with that skin graft and that new skin replacement matrix he talked about.

Brittany: Boy, you just don't give up, do you?

Raul: No, no, ma'am, I donít. So come on, are you gonna try one of these?

Brittany: I'll try the one that says there could be improvement in two weeks, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Raul: Well, donít. That's way too long to do that.

Brittany: You nut. I can't believe you've done all this for me.

Raul: Yeah, me either, but I didn't want you walking around the rest of your life feeling like you're scarred.

Brittany: Thanks, Raul, for being you, for giving me hope.

Raul: Go try on the cream. Um, I'm gonna call the surgeon and see when he can schedule you.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Daniel: Mac's pretty cool.

Lily: Oh, yeah, right.

Sierra: We saw the way you were looking at her, Daniel.

Lily: You do realize she's in college, don't you?

Daniel: Sure. So what? Is there something wrong with that?

Sierra: Well, you're like, a junior in high school.

Lily: Yeah, I mean, does she even know?

Daniel: No, and if you don't mind, I'd like to keep it that way.

Lily: (Laughs) in this town, good luck.

Sierra: Well, we won't rat you out, if that's what you're worried about.

Daniel: Yeah, I just think people in the states are way too obsessed with the whole age thing. I mean, you must understand, Lily, coming from Paris. You know, it's a much more sophisticated place.

Lily: Your secret's safe with me, Romeo.

Sierra: And don't look at me. I'm not saying anything.

Lily: Yeah, but just don't blow it by asking Mac to drive if you take her out. (Giggles)

Cassie: Hey, guys, look at this.

Sierra: What is it?

Lily: An earring?

Cassie: I found it at the bottom of the drawer.

Sierra: Are those rubies?

Cassie: Could be. It's pretty, huh?

Sierra: That could really be worth something.

Daniel: There was only one of them?

Cassie: Yeah, I looked all over the place-- just papers and junk.

Lily: Weird, an earring and a home movie locked in a rusty old file cabinet. I wonder what it means.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nikki: All right, I'll talk to Victor, but don't expect miracles.

Brad: Well, Nikki, come on! You go in with that kind of attitude, you're already beaten.

Nikki: Brad, I'll try. I'll try my best.

Brad: With all due respect, that isn't good enough. Somehow, some way, you have gotta make this happen. Nikki, come on, you can do this. I know you can.

Nikki: Well, I suppose I do have a higher chance of success now that he's seen Abby, and that meeting went really well.

Brad: What, what? What did you just say?

Nikki: I'm sorry. I thought you knew. I thought Ashley would have told you that--

Brad: Told me that Victor met with my daughter? No, she didn't mention it.

Nikki: Brad... Brad, wait! Brad! Oh!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cameron: What are you doing?

Grace: What's it look like?

Cameron: Well, if I didn't know you better, I'd say something pretty stupid.

Grace: What does it matter? If you're running the show, maybe it's best if I'm not in the way.

Cameron: Come on, Grace, you're not in the way.

Grace: Oh, really? It seems to me you're not that interested about me, where we're heading. So why don't I head back to New York? Take your hands off me!

Cameron: Get out here!

Grace: What's the matter with you?

Grace: What's happening to us, Cameron? There are times I don't even know who you are.

Cameron: I'm sorry, Grace. I just, I got... I just got a little carried away there. I'm, uh... look, I just... I can't stand the idea of losing you, especially not now when we're so close to this being over.

Grace: Then why not walk away now? I'm satisfied. Why can't you be? Messing up Sharonís perfect little world was my idea in the first place, remember?

Cameron: Because I canít. I canít. I have never walked away from any project that wasn't done, and this one isn't, not to me, not after what she did. I just... I can't walk away.

Cameron: All right, I really do have to go. I'm sorry. Okay?

Cameron: I'll be back in a little bit.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Michael: Let me see if I've got this straight. You think Grace is the key to getting the goods on Cameron. Why exactly?

Nick: They are a couple.

Michael: That doesn't mean he tells her everything.

Nick: Yeah, but Grace could still be useful to us.

Michael: You're assuming that she's gonna believe you when you tell her Cameronís a murderer. And without any proof, I don't see her double-crossing her boyfriend to help you guys.

Nick: That's where you come in.

Sharon: We were hoping that you would talk to her.

Michael: Me?

Nick: Yeah. It would do no good focus to talk to her. She wouldn't believe us.

Michael: What makes you think she'll believe me?

Nick: You two were close, right?

Michael: Ooh, tell her that.

Nick: What do you mean?

Michael: Grace has a way of shutting down when she doesn't like what I'm saying to her. You know, I've tried to get her to talk about Cameron. She just clams up.

Sharon: Do you think she's hiding something?

Michael: All I know is the Grace Turner I was involved with would never let a man treat her the way Cameron has, but she just puts up with it.

Nick: All the more reason for you to talk to her.

Michael: Well, Nick, that's easy for you to say. I don't want--

Nick: You said it yourself. She's warped when it comes to this guy. She's not thinking straight. She needs to know who she's dealing with.

Michael: Well, I'm not sure I want to get involved.

Nick: She's your friend, right?

Michael: Yes, but I have a lot of family stuff going on. My plate's full already. I can't deal with any more drama. I really canít.

Nick: All right, look, look, I realize you're busy, but this is a two-for-one deal. You talk to Grace, you might be able to help us nail Cameron. And you also might save your friend's life. Don't you think that's at least worth one conversation?

Michael: (Groans) all right, when do you want this done?

Nick: Now would be great.

Michael: Yeah, I've got a meeting with a client. I could reschedule.

Sharon: We'd really appreciate that.

Michael: Yeah, yeah, consider it done.

Nick: Thank you.

Sharon: Yeah, so much.

Michael: I'd better get going.

Sharon: Michael...

Michael: Yeah?

Sharon: Be careful.

Michael: Okay.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ashley: So what did Nikki say? Is she gonna talk to Victor--

Brad: Save it, all right? Nikki told me about your little secret. When did you plan to tell me, Ash?

Ashley: What the hell are you talking about?

Brad: I know, okay? I know that Victor saw Abby.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Ashley: You honestly think I would go behind your back?

Brad: You tell me.

Grace: Why all the questions about Cameron?

Michael: How well do you really know the man?

Sharon: What are you doing here?

Cameron: Would you believe I was just in the neighborhood?
