Cameron: I'll call you when we're done. (Sighs) so can I get you a drink?

Nick: I'm fine, thanks. I hope Grace doesn't mind my stopping by like this.

Cameron: Oh, don't give it another thought.

Nick: She didn't seem too happy to see me just now.

 Cameron: She's fine.

 Nick: You sure?

Cameron: Look, it's got nothing to do with you. She's ticked off at me 'cause she wanted to go out and get some dinner, but she's gotta learn, business is business.

 Nick: Get her priorities straight.

 Cameron: I thought you'd understand.

 Nick: I'm beginning to.

Cameron: You know, I think you're gonna be important to my future.

 Nick: Really?

Cameron: Mm-hmm. So tell me, Nick, why are you here?

Nick: I would think that's obvious.

Cameron: Nope. Not a psychic. Gimme a clue.

Nick: It's your job offer. I'm here to accept.

 Sierra and Lily: (Laugh)

 Mac: Guys, get to work.

 Lily: Sorry.

Mac: Okay. Hey, I thought you weren't volunteering.

 Daniel: I'm not.

Mac: Oh, okay. Never mind then.

Daniel: Although I guess I could see how you might have thought I was.

Mac: Seeing as though you are pushing a broom for free.

Daniel: Free? Forget it. Then the deal's off.

Mac: Man, I knew I shouldn't have said anything.

Daniel: I guess I don't have anyplace else to be. Just don't expect me to make this a habit.

Mac: You're telling me not to get my hopes up... about volunteering?

 Daniel: Right.

Mac: So, uh, is that because you're going back to Switzerland?

Daniel: Definitely, and the sooner, the better. I can't handle this town.

 Mac: Hey, Cassie.

Cassie: Hey, Mac. Okay, Sierra, I got the sandpaper you wanted.

Sierra: Oh, thank you so much, Cassie.

 Cassie: No problem.

Cassie: Oh, look, Sierra, she's doing it again.

Sierra: Hey, Lily, you gonna help us or not?

 Lily: What? Oh, um, yeah.

Cassie: Why do you keep staring at that boy?

Lily: I don't know. I'm just trying to figure out what his deal is.

 Sierra: What do you mean?

Lily: Well, he's been here all afternoon. He hasn't lifted a finger.

Sierra: Well, then, why don't you go talk to him?

Lily: Oh, right, because last time was such a pleasure.

Cassie: What did you say his name was?

 Lily: Devon.

Sierra: You know, he's kind of cute if you like the whole angry loner type.

 Lily: He's asking for trouble.

 Sierra: What do you mean?

Lily: Well, I heard Mr. Newman tell him to get busy or get lost.

Sierra: Looks like he didn't get the message.

Lily: Well, he'd better get it and fast, 'cause my dad works with Victor, and trust me, you do not want to get on his bad side.

Lorena: Hello, Mr. Newman. I hope I'm not disturbing you.

Victor: Ms. Davis. Did we have a meeting scheduled?

Lorena: Oh, no, no, no. I was in the neighborhood, thought I'd drop by and see how you were doing.

Victor: Oh, that's nice. Take a look around.

Lorena: I have, and I must say, you are further along than I anticipated.

Victor: Well, that's very nice of you to say.

Lorena: Have you had any trouble finding workers?

Victor: None whatsoever. I told you, I suspected there was a lot of skilled labor around here that was untapped, and that turned out to be the truth.

Lorena: Well, I'm glad to hear how successful you've been.

Victor: That almost sounds like a compliment.

Lorena: Let's not get carried away, Mr. Newman.

Victor: Oh, no. Oh, no, Ms. Davis.

Lorena: I admit, I am impressed by what you've done so far, but you still have a long way to go.

Victor: Oh, and I'm well aware of it.

Michael: Why would I even be here if I knew where my brother was?

Hank: Well, I hear you attorneys have devious minds.

Michael: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've heard all the jokes, Weber. Save them for your stand-up routine at the comedy club.

Hank: You have no idea where Kevin might be headed?

Michael: No, but I can check my crystal ball.

Hank: Why don't you try being serious for a change, Mr. Baldwin? 'Cause if we don't find that man soon, he's gonna be in a world of hurt.

Michael: Listen to me, Weber. Don't know where my brother is. I don't know where he's going. There's one thing I am sure of-- he's scared out of his mind because you decided to destroy his one hope of being released.

Hank: Maybe you need a refresher course on the points of law, Baldwin.

Michael: Ah, this should be good.

Hank: Kevin Fisher is a fugitive. If you know where he is, or if you're hiding information pertaining to his whereabouts, you're obstructing justice, and you just might find yourself behind bars, pal.

(Urgent knocking on door)

 Gloria: Who is it?

Kevin: It's Kevin, Mom. Let me in.

Kevin: I'm starved. Do you have anything to eat?

Chris: Is this really where you want to have this conversation?

Phyllis: I see you got my message.

Chris: I did, and now you're gonna get mine.

Phyllis: Oh, so tough. You haven't even sat down, the gloves have come off.

Chris: If you hadn't phoned when you did, you would have gotten a call from me.

 Phyllis: Oh, really?

Chris: Did you really think that you would get away with it?

Man: Well, ladies, my name is Marty. I'll be your server.

Phyllis: Marty, um, actually, you could serve us best by leaving us alone, and we'll holler for you if we need anything. Thanks.

 Chris: Nice.

Phyllis: Oh, I'm sorry. Did you want a drink, Christine, a cocktail of some sort? Because you're gonna need one when I finish telling you how it's gonna be from now on.

Mac: So it sounds like you're anxious to get away from something or someone.

 Daniel: You got that right.

Mac: Well, which is it, something or someone?

Daniel: The latter. Guess you could kind of say that I have a messed-up family life.

 Mac: I can relate.

Daniel: My, uh, Mother... she is the most... never mind.

Mac: You got one of those, too, huh?

Daniel: The Mom from Hell-- soon to be a major motion picture?

 Mac: Rated "r" for rotten?

Daniel: Listen, while we're on the subject--

 Mac: Of Moms?

 Daniel: No, movies.

 Mac: Oh... (Laughs)

 Daniel: I was just wondering

 J.T.: Hey, Mac. What's up?

Mac: Hold that thought, okay? Hey.

J.T.: What's going on? Look at this place.

Mac: I know. What are you doing here?

 J.T.: I don't know.

Victor: I will have copies of the time sheets sent over to your office as soon as they're ready.

Lorena: Please do. I'll need those for our records.

Victor: All righty. Anything else we need to discuss while you're here?

Lorena: That's it for now. I'll be in touch.

Victor: Thanks for coming by, Ms. Davis.

 Lorena: Of course. Of course.

Devon: Hey, I'm just gonna crash in here, alright? Shoot. Forget that.

Victor: What do you know about him?

 Lorena: Devon?

 Victor: Yeah.

Lorena: What do you want to know?

 Victor: What's his background?

Lorena: Unfortunate, but not uncommon-- no father to speak of, his mother abandoned him when he was very young. This young man has known nothing but a life of going from one foster family to the next. He joined the group home last year. Why do you ask?

Victor: He refuses to work around here.

Lorena: Well, it takes awhile for him to warm up to people.

Victor: Well, I've had enough of it. Let him come back when he's ready to work.

Lorena: In the meantime, where do you expect him to go?

Victor: I really don't care, Ms. Davis.

Lorena: But, Mr. Newman, it's a matter of--

Victor: No buts, Ms. Davis. I don't run a day-care center here. If other people see him sit on his butt and not pitch in, they're gonna get the idea that they can do the same thing. I can't have that.

 Lorena: I think that's a big mistake.

 Sal: Hey, Ange.

 Angelo: Salvatore, how's it going?

Sal: Oh, it's going. What about this place? It's like a graveyard in here.

Angelo: Eh, you know, it's breather night, you know? We're not opening.

Sal: Yeah, I saw the sign. So is Bobby still going through with this?

Angelo: What do you mean, the cabaret thing? Yeah, sure is.

Sal: So what's up? Gives me a call, tells me to get myself down here. Guy seemed pretty worked up. Any idea what's going on?

Bobby: I'll tell you what's going on. Kevin Fisher isn't the one that hurt Brittany.

 Sal: Really?

Bobby: I got evidence that he was somewhere else at the time. That means he couldn't have done it.

Sal: So, what, did you tell the cops about this?

Bobby: No, I'm telling you and you. I know for a fact it was somebody in Mr. Lewis' organization, and, Sal, you're gonna help me find out who the hell it was.

 Gloria: Okay.

 Kevin: Oh, great. Thanks, Mom.

Gloria: So... you came all this way for a bite to eat?

Kevin: Mikey tells me that you came to the hospital. That was nice of you.

 Gloria: You were hurt.

Kevin: Yeah, no kidding. I was beaten to a pulp. I'm pretty much okay now.

Gloria: So you're out now? You're free?

 Kevin: Yeah.

 Gloria: Wow. Good!

Kevin: Mom, I'm only out because I escaped.

 Gloria: Oh, no.

Kevin: I had to. I had no other choice.

Gloria: Well, I can't hide you here, Kevin.

Kevin: Good old Mom, always thinking about yourself first.

Gloria: No, I-I have my simple, little life here. It's not very exciting, but--

Kevin: But you don't want anything disrupting it, not even your own son.

Gloria: Well, you have Michael to help you. He's a wonderful lawyer, right? And if you didn't commit any crime--

Kevin: It's not that simple, Mom, okay? The police-- especially this one detective-- they've got it in for me, and I'm sorry, but I can't spend another minute in jail.

Gloria: But if you really are innocent, I think you should go back, let Michael be your lawyer--

Kevin: Mom, you don't understand. I canít. If I go back, they're gonna put me in jail while I'm waiting for the trial to start.

Gloria: But that won't be for long.

Kevin: Mom, I can't be in jail, okay? Do you understand that? I have already done my time, and you know that. It was right there in that closet.

 Gloria: Kevin?

Michael: I'm gonna say this nice and slow, detective, so you can understand every word, I do not know where my brother is.

Hank: You expect me to believe you?

Michael: Well, if you don't, it's your problem. Either way, you have no right to detain me.

Hank: I want you to promise me something, Baldwin.

 Michael: What?

Hank: When you leave here, I want you to call me if you hear from Kevin. All I'm interested in is a quick, clean resolution to this. I don't want anyone else to get hurt.

 Michael: "Anyone else"?

Hank: Your brother attacked an orderly here at the hospital. He jabbed him with a syringe full of tranquilizers. Now, Michael, he's obviously desperate. We consider him dangerous.

Michael: Hank, he's not a serial killer, all right?

Hank: No, no, but the man's on the run, and there's an A.P.B. Out. I mean, who knows what he'll do if someone else gets in his way? You stay put. I'll be right back.

 Michael: Where are you going?

Hank: I want to check on the progress of the search, make a few calls.

 Michael: What about me?

Hank: Sit tight. I'll let you know when you can leave. And, Michael, just remember one thing. I intend to bring Kevin back no matter what it takes, so you'd better pray that he doesn't put up any resistance.

Cameron: You're taking the job as my chief operating officer?

Nick: I thought you said I was gonna be an important part of your future.

Cameron: No, I did. I guess I was just, uh, I was just hedging my bets. I was... I was hoping that that was why you were here, but, uh...

Nick: And here I was worried that you would regret making me that offer.

Cameron: No. No, no, no. Not at all. I, uh... I--look, I've got a little confession to make.

 Nick: What's that?

Cameron: Well, I assumed that since it was taking you so long to get back to me that, uh, you were probably gonna turn me down.

Nick: My turn for a confession. It wasn't an easy decision to make. You seem to be pretty in tune with what's happening between my father and me. I wanted to make sure you're not taking advantage of that.

Cameron: I hope you know me better than that.

Nick: I'm beginning to know you better all the time.

Chris: No, I'm gonna do the talking. You're gonna sit there, shut up and listen.

Phyllis: Oh. Oh, my. You are, are you?

Chris: Your son almost got on a plane because of what you did.

 Phyllis: To go where?

Chris: Back to Switzerland, after you ambushed him.

Phyllis: Oh, no, no, no. Wait a second. Would you--

Chris: He wanted to get as far away from you as possible. It was all I could do to convince him not to leave, not like this.

Phyllis: Oh, my God. "All I could do to convince him"... I'm right you are brainwashing my son, and how easy for you to do it now that he's living under your roof.

Chris: Daniel confided in me because you upset him so much, youíre little sneak attack on my character.

Phyllis: No, no, no. I know. I told him the truth for once, because all he's heard are lies since he was a little boy.

Chris: You know what? It was immature and thoughtless.

 Phyllis: Excuse me?

Chris: I can't believe that you would put some ancient vendetta against me ahead of what's best for your son.

 Phyllis: You are totally delusional.

Chris: He wasn't prepared to see you. And guess what? He didn't want to see you, but there you were in his face with your own self-serving version of history. The poor kid was so confused, no wonder he wanted to run.

Phyllis: And how eager you were to clear up his confusion, weren't you, Christine? Weren't you? And trash me up one side and down the other.

Chris: No, that's how you operate, not me.

Phyllis: Oh, please. Are you really gonna sit there and pretend that you're not trying to poison my son's mind against me?

Mac: So you gonna sign up?

 J.T.: Oh, right. You're cute.

Mac: How many shifts can I put you down for?

J.T.: Look, the only reason I risked bringing my car down to this joint was to take you away in it.

Mac: Ooh, tough guy. You gonna kidnap me?

J.T.: I didn't think I'd have to twist your arm.

Mac: J.T., I can't just leave here. Besides, I like working here. We're getting a lot accomplished.

 J.T.: Whatever you say.

Mac: Well, you should look around. This place is changing. It's becoming a part of the community as we speak.

J.T.: Hold on a second. Look, I know how much you love all this-- this glamour and stuff, but haven't you put enough hours in already? Look, it's not like you're getting paid for this. You should be able to take off whenever you want.

Mac: You are the last person I thought that would come down here looking for a playmate.

 J.T.: Yeah, well, you know.

 Mac: Oh, J.T., I didnít... I didn't even think.

 J.T.: What?

Mac: Colleen. You must-- it must be really hard on you.

J.T.: Yeah, well, she's a pretty special girl, you know? I have to admit, I've been... I've been sittin' around going a little crazy thinkin' about her.

Mac: Yeah, I bet. Here you are putting on this big, brave front, and inside you're a mess. I've certainly been there.

J.T.: Yeah, you've had your share of heartbreak, too, huh?

Mac: It really does get easier. It only seems to take forever.

J.T.: Yeah. Well, thanks, Mac. Thanks for listening.

 Mac: Yeah.

 Cassie: Where are you going?

 Sierra: Lily?

Lily: Hey. Do you wanna help us over there? Excuse me. I heard what Mr. Newman said to you. And he's gonna kick you out if you don't start helping.

 Devon: What do you care?

Lily: I don't get you. Why are you even here?

 Devon: Why are you?

 Lily: I told you. I'm a volunteer.

Devon: Well, why aren't you workin' then?

Victor: And would you kindly tell the electrician I'll call him back tomorrow, all right?

 Man: Yes, sir.

Victor: Thank you. Sit down, miss Davis. You were saying?

Lorena: Forcing Devon to leave would be a mistake.

 Victor: And why is that?

Lorena: Look around. This is not Newman enterprises. These are not M.B.A.s you are dealing with.

 Victor: Mm-hmm.

Lorena: Most of the people that are here are here because they need to be. They don't have other jobs, other options. If you kick Devon out, do you know what'll happen to him? He'll end up on the streets, doing God knows what.

Victor: So you're suggesting, Miss Davis, that I let him stay and watch him do nothing?

 Lorena: Who's he hurting?

Victor: Himself. When I'm finished with this community center, I want the people in the neighborhood to feel a sense of pride because they know that they were a part of building this.

Lorena: That is a noble sentiment, but a sent--

Victor: No buts, Miss Davis. I'm gonna have to ask you to be mindful of the fact that I grew up in a neighborhood like this. You're not telling me anything new, so please don't be condescending with me. I know what this life is all about. I've lived it. Nothing was ever handed to me, Miss Davis, nothing. I earned everything I made.

Lorena: Maybe you expect too much.

Victor: I think he has to learn the value of hard work.

Lorena: Then teach him. Instead of seeing Devon as a nuisance, why don't you do for him what no one else has done? Invest in him. You have the opportunity to be a force for change in someone's life. Now... isn't that what this project's supposed to be about?

Victor: And you don't think I'm aware of that? You have a nice day, Miss Davis. I'll see you tomorrow.

 Lorena: Yes. You will.

Cameron: So what convinced you to accept my job offer?

 Nick: Considering my career options...

 Cameron: Fair enough.

Nick: But not to belittle the offer, it is a great opportunity, one I'm very excited about.

Cameron: Good. Good, I'm glad to hear it. I think Grace will be, too, which, uh... which leaves only Sharon. How's she feelin' about your decision?

Nick: What's my wife got to do with it?

Cameron: Man, I didn't mean to touch a nerve, I'm sorry.

Nick: Let's just leave her out of it.

Cameron: Nick, I'm not sure that's possible. I mean, this is bound to affect her as much as it does you. With the demands of the new job, she'll be seeing less of you. And meanwhile, we'll be seeing a whole lot more of each other.

 Nick: Who will?

Cameron: You and me. Who'd you think I meant?

Nick: Don't worry about it, all right? Sharon's got her priorities straight.

Cameron: And the relocation? You'll have to move to Denver eventually, take over the reins of the corporation.

 Nick: Obviously.

Cameron: It could mean that you'll be spending some time apart from your family until they can join you. Your wife's gonna be okay with that?

Nick: Sharon will be 100% behind whatever decision I make. I guarantee it.

Cameron: Good. I just want to make sure there are no surprises. You understand.

 Gloria: Honey.

 Kevin: Yeah, Mom.

Gloria: I know you don't think I'm much of a Mother to give advice, but I can't stand to see you do this to yourself. You're young, you're intelligent, you're handsome, but you're also very angry. And being angry makes you do things, things you know that you shouldn't do.

Kevin: I don't wanna be like this. I hate it. When it's happening, it's like I hear this roaring sound in my ears. And part of me is saying, "Kevin, donít. Kevin, don't, you know this is gonna turn out bad." But, uh... I can't stop it.

Kevin: I'm afraid. Angry and afraid at the same time.

Gloria: But that's not an excuse to act just any way that you want to.

Kevin: I don't know how else to act, Mom.

Gloria: But that's not true. When you were little, you were the sweetest, kindest child. You were so polite that all my friends wanted their children to be just like you. That part of you is still there, Kevin. It's there inside you. I know it is. If you could just let it out.

Kevin: Don't you think I'd like to... if I could?

Sal: Bobby, I don't know where to start with you. You are suicidal, man.

Bobby: Yeah, why's that? 'Cause I wanna know who came into my club, wired up my stage and almost fried my best dancer--singer?

Sal: Oh, just say it, your girlfriend.

Bobby: What's that got to do with anything? You think you can come in here and fry one of my other girls, and it's okay with me 'cause I can get another one?!

Sal: Wait a minute, are you accusin' me of somethin'?

Bobby: Oh, shut up, Sal. There's only one thing I want from you, that's for you to go to Mr. Lewis and tell him I know what's goin' on, and I want a piece of whoever it is that put that scar on her face.

Sal: (Chuckles) you hear this, Ange? He is suicidal.

Angelo: Yeah, ever since that blonde walked in this place, he's been a little, uh...

Sal: Think about it, Bob. Why would Mr. Lewis want to hurt a pretty girl?

Bobby: I didn't say it was him, Sal.

Sal: Well, that's what he's gonna think if I walk in there talkin' about how Bobby Marsino wants a piece of one of his people.

Angelo: He's right, Bobby, okay? You know the man. He has a hard time with anyone doin' anything he didn't tell 'em to do.

Bobby: Then he can take responsibility for it. It's up to him, but just do it, Sal! I didn't ask you to go in there and stick up for me. Just deliver the damn message!

Sal: Fine. I'll get word to Mr. Lewis. But after that, you're on your own. I tried, Ange. You saw me. I tried.

Angelo: Let me know when Mr. Lewis shows up, okay? 'Cause I'm not stickin' around to watch what happens to ya. Sorry.

Bobby: Yeah, thanks for nothin', Ange.

Lily: What is wrong with this stupid thing?

Victor: Well, let me help you with that.

 Lily: Oh, thanks, Mr. Newman.

Devon: Hey, that's all right. Hey, let me get that. There you go.

 Victor: There, you see?

 Lily: Thank you.

 Devon: No problem.

Mac: I gotta check on some stuff in the office. Stick around, okay?

 J.T.: All right.

 Mac: Have a doughnut.

Daniel: I see it didn't take you long.

J.T.: What are you talkin' about?

Daniel: You and Mackenzie there seemed awfully friendly.

J.T.: Well, that's because I am friendly with Mackenzie.

Daniel: Is that all she is, just a friend?

J.T.: You know what, Romalotti? I don't like you.

Daniel: Gee, I'm gonna lose sleep tonight.

J.T.: Are you always this big a jerk, or is it just me that brings it out in you?

Daniel: It's one of your many talents.

 J.T.: (Chuckles)

 Daniel: What?

J.T.: No, it's just you kinda remind me of somebody.

 Daniel: Yeah, who?

J.T.: Me. Yeah, and I see right though you. Yeah, I used to be a-- kind of a punk kid, too, when I was your age.

Daniel: Oh, does that mean that I'm gonna be as washed up as you are? Is your cd burning up the charts? Well, that's what I thought. You're goin' nowhere fast, and your crappy record label's about to dump you.

J.T.: Oh, the big voice of experience speaking once again.

Daniel: Don't you think it's kind of ironic, you sign this two-bit deal and get all wrapped up in your big rock star ambitions, until Colleen starts feeling like some little nobody, and then when she leaves the state to get away from you, your deal is toast? Talk about hilarious.

J.T.: You shut your mouth before I shut it for you.

 Daniel: Yeah? Have fun trying.

 J.T.: Don't tempt me.

Daniel: This just proves that Colleen was smart for listening to me, taking my advice and getting away from you before you left her in your dust.

Chris: If anyone did more damage to Danielís opinion of you--

Phyllis: Oh, this is my fault, right? I can just imagine the spin you put on things.

Chris: Well, you wanna know something? I could have. It would have been very easy for me to explain to Daniel why you were stripped of custody, but I didnít. I bit my tongue and said nothing.

Phyllis: You're talking about the paternity, right?

Chris: I am talking about the whole sordid story.

Phyllis: So tell me, what'd you tell my son Daniel about his mother, Christine?

Chris: That we have issues that go way back.

Phyllis: Oh, issues, is that it?

Chris: Why is it so impossible for you to believe that no one is attacking you?

 Phyllis: Oh, please.

Chris: Danny and I tried very hard to convince Daniel to give you a chance. But, no, you couldn't let things evolve naturally. You had to push him into some meeting that he wasn't ready for, throwing around all these angry accusations, and I'm sorry, you wonder why he's avoiding you?

Phyllis: No, actually, I don't wonder anything. I know exactly why. It's because the two of you never insisted that he spend time with his real mother so he can find out that I'm not a monster. You two were totally content just sitting back for weeks while I stood around like an idiot wondering if I was ever gonna see my son.

Chris: Daniel made it very clear that if we forced him into anything, he would leave.

Phyllis: When does a 16-year-old call the shots? Danny is the adult.

Chris: Phyllis, this is how it is, okay? So unless you want your son on a plane out of here, back off.

Phyllis: Wow. So tough. Is this your oh-so-brilliant defense for Dannyís oh-so-horrible parenting?

Chris: We told Daniel that we would support him if he wanted to get to know you. But you know what? I can't support you when you pull garbage like this. You wanna blame Danny and me? Fine. But as usual, you are your own worst enemy.

Phyllis: "You're your own worst enemy." You just love saying that to me, don't you, Christine? Well, now I'm gonna talk. So listen up. You're gonna tell Daniel what he needs. And what he needs is a relationship with his real mother. And you're gonna pull out all the stops to make that happen.

Chris: You think you can order me around?

Phyllis: Oh, what I think, Christine, is that you're not his mother. Just as Danny is not his father. See, I think the two of you have forgotten that. You're just having a real fun time playin' house. I'm the only real family that Daniel has. So if you both continue to stand in my way, he's gonna find that out.

Kevin: It doesn't do us any good, talking about who I used to be.

Kevin: Think I wouldn't like to be that little boy again? That little boy was stuffed in a closet. He was beaten. He had no one there to protect him when he was scared out of his mind. He was told he was a piece of crap.

 Gloria: Don't, honey! Just donít.

Kevin: What do you want me to do?

Gloria: Try. Try to find a new starting place.

Kevin: It's gone. It's gone. Time only goes in one direction.

Gloria: Okay. Try something for me. All right? I'm gonna be Mmmy, and you be little Kev.

 Kevin: No, this is pointless.

 Gloria: No, just try it.

 Kevin: You're dreaming.

Gloria: All right, all right, but what's wrong with that? Come on.

Twinkle, twinkle little star how I wonder what you are...

Kevin: You used to sing that to me.

Gloria: Mm-hmm. Up above the world so high... it's working, see? Come on, come on, come on, come on.

Both: Like a diamond in the sky...

 Kevin: Mom, don't, donít.

Gloria: Wait. Just for one moment, be my little baby again. Twinkle, twinkle little star...

Gloria: How I wonder what you are

 Gloria: Come on.

 Kevin: Mommy.

Gloria: Come on. It's okay. It's okay. Come on. My baby, it's okay. Shh. Come on. It's okay.

Hank: Mr. Baldwin. You can go.

Michael: That's it? I mean, you leave me here cooling my heels, while you go off and play super cop, and now you just tell me I can leave?

Hank: If you wanna stay, be my guest. (Cell phone rings)

Hank: Weber. Hold on a minute. Morgan, follow the man who just left. He might lead us to Kevin Fsher, all right? Okay, go ahead.

Paul: Hank, this is Paul Williams. I need to see you.

Hank: Not now, Williams. I'm right in the middle of something.

Paul: This can't wait. I'm bringing someone to your office I want you to talk to.

 Hank: Look, man, I just--

Paul: I'll see you there. (Cell phone rings)

Hank: Detective Weber. What do you want, Marsino?

 Nick: I understand you, Cameron.

Cameron: Well, not too well, I hope. A little mystery gives me an edge in the business world.

Nick: That's the way some guys like to live, on the edge.

 Cameron: What about you?

Nick: I do what I have to do. And that's why I'm making this decision.

Cameron: Well, life on the edge can be a little bit tough, especially on a marriage. Now are you sure that you've considered how Sharonís gonna react-- the stress, the toll it could take?

Nick: Why do you keep bringing up my wife? I already told you she's gonna be cool with this. You have my word on it.

Cameron: Well, then I guess we got a deal.

Nick: Deal.

Next on "The Young and the Restless"...

Brittany: Bobby's in danger, and he's mad!

Bobby: Don't worry about me. I'll be here when you get back.

Angelo: Ready to be put in a box.

Victor: Why work for Cameron Kirsten?

Nick: I gotta do this my way.

Gloria: I'll never see you again.
