Nikki: You what?

Sharon: I killed him, Nikki. I had to. Cameron was trying to rape me. It was self-defense.

Nikki: My God. No, I don't believe that.

Sharon: Well, how do you think I felt walking around all this time knowing?

Nikki: Oh, dear God in heaven. My God. Um, how did this happen? Tell me.

Sharon: It was so ugly. He was being so threatening. And I tried to run, but then he... he punched me in the face really hard, and the next thing I knew he was on top of me, forcing himself me. I, uh... I kicked him off me somehow, and he fell back, but then he came toward me again in a rage, and I'll never forget his eyes, the look on his face.

Nikki: So you were afraid that it was going to become more violent.

Sharon: I knew it would. I knew. There was this champagne bottle. I grabbed it, and I hit him over the head with it. I thought that I might just buy myself some time to get out of there, but his head was bleeding, and he wasn't breathing. There was no pulse.

Nikki: God, Sharon, my God, you killed him!

Sharon: I didn't mean to. It was an accident.

Nikki: And you didn't tell anybody?

Sharon: Well, I was too freaked out to go to the police, and now I'm terrified that they're closing in on me.

Grace: Your secretary said I could find you here.

Nick: What, are you stalking me now?

Grace: Friendly as ever.

Nick: Grace, I'm trying to get out of here at a reasonable hour, so...

Grace: Make time, Nick. This is important. Feast your eyes.

Raul: Look who's up. How was your nap?

Brittany: Fine.

Raul: Where you going?

Brittany: I just, uh... I'm going to try to take a walk. I haven't been out of this apartment, so I'll be back in a little while.

Raul: That's great, babe.

Brittany: If anyone sees me, oh, God.

Raul: Hey, I'll come with you.

Brittany: What don't you have a class soon?

Raul: So I'll be a little late. I'd rather hang out with you anyway. Let me get my jacket. It's in my room.

Brittany: Raul, no.

Raul: What's wrong?

Brittany: I want to be alone.

Raul: All right. Yeah, we can go for a walk another time.

Brittany: No, we canít. What's it gonna take to get through to you? You have to go on with your life without me.

Phyllis: Thank you. Thank you. I just-- I'm sorry I'm kind of a mess.

Damon: Well, just relax. Take your time. You want to talk?

Phyllis: No, yes, no. I just--I kinda flipped out.

Damon: We all do that sometime.

Phyllis: Yeah, it's like I've been doing that a lot lately.

Damon: All right, well, I imagine you've been under a lot of stress.

Phyllis: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Oh, man, a couple months ago, a couple months ago, I thought I had everything. I really-- I thought I had everything, but now I don't have a prayer, really. I mean, I don't have a job. That's gone. Diane has totally taken over my family. My stepson won't even talk to me, and on top of everything, my husband, he doesn't even care anymore. You should have seen them. When I looked through that window, they're like this sweet, little happy family in my living room. It's like I don't even exist. It's like I'm a ghost watching them. And that's how I feel. I feel like I'm a ghost. I feel like I'm dead and buried.

Jack: How was Milwaukee?

Brad: Cold.

Jack: Any luck with the loan?

Brad: Talked to Isaacson personally. Got him to defer repayment for another 90 days.

Jack: Good boy. Every little bit helps till we're finished with Newman.

Brad: Yep. Any news on that front?

Jack: Yeah, yeah, he paid me a personal visit, offered $75 million to settle.

Brad: Wow. Your answer...

Jack: I told him to stick it where the sun don't shine. You're not gonna start second guessing me on this, are you?

Brad: It's a lot of money, Jack.

Jack: It's a lot of money. We're gonna make a lot more suing for damages, believe me.

Brad: No guarantees in a lawsuit. You know that.

Jack: If we settle with Newman right now, he's gonna use it to show the judge what a swell guy he is.

Brad: And the judge doesn't put him in jail.

Jack: Think about it. He's made restitution to Jabot. Where's the crime? Bradley, are you with me on this?

Brad: Yeah. The thought of Newman behind bars is too juicy to pass up.

Jack: We're still going to get lots of his money. Lots.

Brad: You didn't mention this to Nikki, Ash, your Dad?

Jack: I made an executive decision.

Brad: In other words, you didn't want to mention it to anyone who might disagree with you.

Jack: I'd like to keep it between the two of us for the time being. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for tomorrow, and I don't want to do anything to slow the wheels of justice, okay?

Brad: Anything else I should know?

Jack: Yeah, your wife is back at work, and, boy, is she loaded for bear.

Raul: We can't even take a walk together?

Brittany: No.

Raul: Brittany, come on.

Brittany: Raul, I'm sorry, but this is how it has to be.

Raul: How come you get to be the one who decides how things have to be?

Brittany: Because I am the one that has to live with this thing on my face.

Raul: Wait.

Brittany: Raul, I can't do this now.

Raul: Brittany, I want to help you.

Brittany: I already told you you canít.

Raul: How do you know? You won't even let me try.

Brittany: What are you gonna do, wave a magic wand and make me beautiful again?

Raul: You are beautiful.

Brittany: Right.

Raul: You are. Babe, you are beautiful. And you're very special, and I love you as much today as I did before you got hurt. Baby, your life isn't over. And I know things seem hopeless right now, but you're gonna get through this. We are gonna get through this together, so you can push me away as much as you want. You can push and push, and I'm not going anywhere, Brittany. You're stuck with me, babe.

Brad: I didn't realize Ash was gonna jump back into work so soon.

Jack: Oh, yeah, she's going to make her presence felt at Jabot. She said as much.

Brad: Something's bugging you.

Jack: The orchid project we're all jazzed about-- your wife thinks it's a waste of time and money. She's gonna pull the plug.

Brad: What?

Jack: Yeah, I was shocked, too.

Brad: Did she say why? We just got the damn orchid back from Phyllis.

Jack: Ash thinks that it's too big a gamble with all the pressures we're under right now.

Brad: Damon know about this?

Jack: I was in the room when she dropped the bomb.

Brad: Ooh, boy I bet he was hot.

Jack: Oh, he is fit to be tied. No, Damon is not a happy camper these days.

Damon: You don't think that you're blowing this all just a little bit out of proportion?

Phyllis: You know, yeah, I've told myself that a couple times, but, no, no. You should have seen them in the living room. They were snuggly, like a little family. I can't take it anymore.

Damon: Phyllis, you didn't even go inside. How could you tell what was really going on?

Phyllis: It's obvious. We're talking about Diane Jenkins here. Please, she's up to her old tricks. Only now Jack doesn't even want to see it.

Damon: All right, and removing yourself from the situation is only gonna make things easier for her.

Phyllis: Please, no.

Damon: It's the truth.

Phyllis: You don't understand, okay? Diane--I don't care about Diane. She's been after my husband-- I don't care--she's not a match for me. It's a little dance she does, okay? The thing that is bothering me is Kyle.

Damon: Kyle? Your stepson.

Phyllis: Yes, my stepson. It's the way he looks at her. This bond that they have... he used to look at me like that, before Jack decided to give him back to Diane. That's the thing that's killing me.

Damon: Diane is his mother. You didn't expect the boy to forget that, did you?

Phyllis: I don't expect him to forget about his mother, but he forgot about me. He didn't even want to hug me. Diane had to practically push him to say good-bye to me. That's what I'm talking about. It's like... it's like I'm losing a child.

Damon: So what are you doing at my place? If this boy is so important to you...

Phyllis: He is important to me, but I don't know what to do.

Damon: Be a mother to him, like you always were.

Phyllis: I tried. I tried. He's not interested in me.

Damon: So try again. Keep on trying.

Phyllis: I canít. I can't keep on trying! I'm not exactly mother of the year, okay? I'll tell you something. I was declared an unfit mother in a court of law. And it's all fresh in my mind because my ex-husband is in town again, and... do you know I have a son who hasn't talked to me in years? If he walked in that door right now, he wouldn't even recognize me. I'm a stranger to my son. I'm a stranger to my son! And the thing with Kyle just reminds me of that. I can see the writing on the wall. It's gonna happen again. The same thing is gonna happen with Kyle.

Damon: Let me ask you again-- what are you doing at my place? If your stepson is truly that important to you, you need to go fight for him.

Phyllis: I can't fight anymore. It doesn't work. It doesn't work.

Damon: Why not? Why, what's standing in your way? What are you afraid of? You're afraid of being rejected? Or are you afraid that maybe you won't be?

J.T.: Hey.

Raul: Hey.

J.T.: Where's Brittany?

Raul: Brittany went for a walk.

J.T.: That's a good sign, I guess.

Raul: Maybe.

J.T.: You lost me, man.

Raul: Her attitude has not changed one bit.

J.T.: She's still depressed?

Raul: Nothing I do or say makes any kind of difference.

J.T.: Well, you know, I mean, she's out there walking around. That's a good thing. You know, I expected to come home and find her locked in her room with the shades drawn.

Raul: No, that was her earlier.

J.T.: Well, so there you go, Raul. Baby steps.

Raul: You know what? I'm glad that she's up and around and everything, but she's still shutting me out. You know, I told her, I go, "I don't care about your scar. "It doesn't affect the way I feel about you." She doesn't listen to me.

J.T.: I'm not surprised. You know how much Brittany obsesses about her looks. I've never met another girl so in love with herself before.

Raul: It's a real nice way to show a little compassion, you know?

J.T.: I'm just being honest, man, okay? Look, it'd be one thing if this scar was on her back or her leg or something, but it's not. You know, she could cover that up wearing different clothes. This scar is on her face, Raul. This is the worst thing that could have happened to her.

Nick: What the hell is this?

Grace: A composite sketch by a police artist. Look familiar?

Nick: What's the big deal? Who's this supposed to be?

Grace: A woman seen by an eyewitness who thinks she might have been with Cameron after the party that night.

Nick: According to the newspaper?

Grace: No, according to the police. Says so right in the article.

Nick: This is today's paper?

Grace: Late edition. You don't see any resemblance?

Nick: To whom?

Grace: To Sharon, of course!

Nick: Grace, that is ridiculous.

Grace: Look at it, please. Look closely.

Nick: All right, what I see is a white woman in her mid 20s. This could be anyone.

Grace: That's a dead ringer for your wife, Nicholas.

Nick: If you say so.

Grace: You see it. You just don't want to admit it.

Nick: All right, what's with you? Are you obsessed, Grace? Haven't you hurt my wife enough? You need to get a life.

Grace: I had a life with Cameron, which I told Sharon about, and ever since, she's been acting even weirder than she normally does, totally on edge every time I've seen her. And now it finally all makes sense to me, because Sharon is responsible for whatever happened to Cameron. She's the reason he disappeared.

Nikki: Why would the police suspect you?

Sharon: Detective Weber was here earlier. He showed me a sketch of a woman who might have been with Cameron very late on the night he disappeared, and he thought that it looked like me.

Nikki: How is that possible?

Sharon: He said that a witness described that woman to one of his police artists.

Nikki: Who? What witness?

Sharon: When I went to the motel to tell Cameron once and for all that he was not going to blackmail me with Nick, the desk clerk stopped me in the lobby.

Nikki: You didn't tell him anything.

Sharon: No, I didn't tell him anything at all, that I was just going to see a friend, and he couldn't have known who, but then once Cameronís face was plastered all over the news...

Nikki: The man came forward.

Sharon: It had to-- it had to have been him. The police must have questioned him about everyone he saw coming and going that night. That's the only way they could have made the connection, because I was very careful. I was very discreet.

Nikki: Oh, Sharon. I don't really understand this. Cameron hasn't been reported killed. There's no body that's been found.

Sharon: That's because I hid it.

Nikki: You hid it?

Sharon: Well, once I realized that Cameron was dead, I panicked, so I made sure no one else saw me, and then I dragged his body down the back stairs and into the alley behind a dumpster.

Nikki: Oh, my God. And nobody noticed after all this time?

Sharon: Well, the body was covered in snow for weeks, but then once I realized how dangerous it would be if it were found there, I went back, and I moved it.

Nikki: You went back. You moved it.

Sharon: Look, I thought that when the body was found, if it were found, it wouldn't be connected with the motel or with me, but obviously, I was wrong.

Nikki: Yeah. All right, what's gonna happen now?

Sharon: Nikki, I'm in trouble. I mean, I'm in deep trouble. I need an alibi. I need somebody who will swear that I was with them that night and not with Cameron Kirsten.

Nikki: I don't know who would risk that.

Sharon: Well, I was hoping that you would.

Nikki: Me?

Sharon: In fact, I already gave your name to Detective Weber.

Brad: What about Drucilla? Does she know what ash wants to do?

Jack: Drucilla-- you don't even want to go there.

Brad: She's been carrying the torch for this project from the beginning, working damn hard.

Jack: She's got steam coming out of her ears. She's taking it very personally.

Brad: Lit into Ash yet?

Jack: No, but I'd say a showdown is inevitable.

Brad: What about you? How do you feel about it?

Jack: I don't know. Got a lot on my plate right now. I don't think Ashleyís wrong that this hair straightener is a big gamble.

Brad: Well, sure it is, but what innovation isn't?

Jack: I'm glad you're talking that way. Look, I would like to see this project through. It's not gonna happen without our head chemist onboard. Can you talk to your wife?

Brad: Sure, I'll talk to her. Just tell her she's wrong, that'll do. You know how well Ash reacts.

Jack: I will work on Ash, too. I'm just asking you to do what you can.

Brad: I'll try. Hey, speaking of wives, what's going on with you and the redhead? Any closer to terra firma now that she's coughed up the orchid?

Phyllis: I don't understand what you're talking about. Listen, you don't know me very well, which many may say is lucky for you.

Damon: I'd say many may be wrong.

Phyllis: I have a checkered past.

Damon: Yes, I had heard a few, um... well, whispers here and there.

Phyllis: Yeah, whispers. I'm sure you have. I don't care. I don't care what anyone says about me. I made mistakes, and I paid the price-- I lost my husband. I lost my son. I lost my life.

Damon: Well, what'd you do?

Phyllis: I left town, and I reinvented myself, and I came back here-- poof, new Phyllis.

Phyllis: Only I don't think I could do that again, Damon.

Phyllis: I want my life back.

Damon: Phyllis, what does that mean? Does that mean your stepson, Jack, you job with Newman, what?

Phyllis: It means all of it. All of that was my life.

Phyllis: And you know what I've been doing today? I've been desperately pounding the pavement to worm my way back into my own life. Only the joke is that nobody wants me. No one wants me, not even Victor.

Damon: You went to see Victor Newman?

Phyllis: Yeah, because I thought, "hey, you know, what have I got to lose? I've already been rejected by Kyle and my ex-husband. I'll try Victor." You know, he promised me that I could have my job back when I came back into town. So it's better to have a little dignity, right?

Damon: I see your logic. I can't say, however, that I agree with it.

Phyllis: Well, I don't know if I agree with it either, because what did it get me? I'm sitting here with nothing-- a big, fat zero.

Phyllis: I needed some... I needed something. I needed someone.

Raul: Do me a favor.

J.T.: What?

Raul: Don't talk this way in front of Brittany.

J.T.: Oh, come on. Give me some credit.

Raul: I just don't want you to say anything stupid. Brittany's already upset enough as it is. It wouldn't take much to push her over the edge.

J.T.: Raul, you make it sound like she's not gonna survive this. What? Oh, come on. You don't think... look, she is gonna get past this, right? Raul, look, I know it's gonna take some time, but, man, she'll come around. It's not like she's gonna let this scar keep her from living her life.

Raul: I donít know, J.T. I really don't know. You know, I keep telling myself she just got out of the hospital, things are bound to get better. But then I see her... bro, she is really depressed. It's like the old Brittany isn't even there. It's like she's totally given up.

J.T.: Dirty son of a bitch.

Raul: Kevin Fisher?

J.T.: Yeah, I'd love to get him alone in a dark alley.

Raul: Oh, don't kid yourself. I'd be right there next to you. Oh, you know what? I gotta get to class. Don't forget what I said.

J.T.: Yeah, I know. I know. I'll be careful around Brittany.

Raul: Thanks. All right, later.

J.T.: Hey.

Brittany: Hi.

J.T.: How was your walk?

Brittany: It was terrific. I even scare the neighborhood dogs away.

J.T.: Oh, come on, Brittany.

Brittany: Is Raul here?

J.T.: No. He just left for class.

Brittany: Oh. Iíll be in my room.

J.T.: Hey, hold on a second. Brittany, you don't have to hide your face from me, okay? This is your home. You should feel comfortable here.

Brittany: Like I'll ever feel comfortable again.

J.T.: Well, I don't know. That's up to you. But I know you can't hide your face forever. I'm your roommate, you know. I live here. Eventually you're gonna have to show me, so you might as well show me right now.

Brittany: I haven't even shown my parents yet, J.T.

J.T.: So? Is there a waiting list or something?

Brittany: Fine. You want to see my face? Well, take a good, long look.

Sharon: I told him that you would vouch for my whereabouts after the party. Weber said that he'd be talking to you. That's why I left you that urgent message. I am praying that I can count on you. Nikki, for God's sake, say something, please!

Nikki: How dare you? How dare you?!

Sharon: Nikki.

Nikki: How can you do this to me?!

Sharon: Weber was insisting that I have an alibi! What else was I gonna to do?! I don't have one!

Nikki: So you used me? Me?!

Sharon: He was pushing me! It just popped into my head. It was the only thing I could think of.

Nikki: You are unbelievable, you know that?

Sharon: Nikki, surely you don't hate me enough--

Nikki: What? What, to throw you to the wolves?

Sharon: Do you?

Grace: Look, I can understand why you wouldn't want to believe Sharon is involved something.

Nick: She wasnít. It's impossible.

Grace: Really? Does Sharon have an alibi? Do you know for a fact where she was that night?

Nick: Sharon already answered these questions. The police are satisfied. I'm satisfied.

Grace: Well, I'm not. The man I love with all my heart is missing. If you were in my shoes, I doubt you'd be so damn cavalier.

Nick: Look, I know this is upsetting. But what do you want me to do? My hands are tied. I have to let the police deal with this.

Grace: Sure singing a different tune than the last time I saw you.

Nick: Are you accusing me of something?

Grace: You were all fired up. "If there's been foul play, I'm gonna find the person responsible." Those were your words, Nick, remember? And then I show you that sketch, one that looks like Sharon, and suddenly your hands are tied. Why is that?

Nick: What do you want from me?

Grace: The truth, or at least a few answers.

Nick: About what?

Grace: Sharon's supposed whereabouts after the party, whatever she told you and the police. Damn it, I am not leaving here until you tell me.

Nick: Okay, just settle down, all right?

Nick: What would you like to know, Grace?

Grace: What time did she leave the party? Who did she go with? Where did she go, and what time did she get home?

Nick: She left a little after midnight. She walked some people out to their cars, talked to them in the parking lot. She saw that it was late, and then she went home.

Grace: Can she prove that?

Nick: Look, if you aren't gonna be satisfied with any of my answers--

Grace: There's something else you probably don't know. We had a little bizarre run-in at a bar one night-- a place called the Lakeside.

Nick: What?

Grace: I was sitting with some friends and in walks Sharon looking like a zombie, totally whacked out. When I confronted her in the parking lot, Nick, she was acting like a complete lunatic. I asked her where you were, but...

Grace: You didn't know a thing about this, did you? Which doesn't surprise me, given everything she's been keeping from you.

Nick: I still don't--

Grace: Your wife is just full of secrets lately. Doesn't that bother you, even a little?

Brittany: Well, aren't you gonna say anything?

J.T.: It's not that bad.

Brittany: Not that bad?!

J.T.: It's not. I saw this thing on TV once, Brittany, about hospital burn units. Should have seen some of those patients.

Brittany: Oh, I don't believe this.

J.T.: I'm just trying to give you a little perspective here.

Brittany: I don't need perspective. You're the one person I could always count on to speak his mind. And the fact that you're not saying anything, means that I must look worse than I thought.

J.T.: I am not trying to spare your feelings here. You know, I was prepared to be shocked, but I'm not, and I don't think anybody else will be either.

Brittany: So what you're really saying is I don't look totally grotesque. I just look a little bit grotesque? Gee, thanks a lot, J.T.

J.T.: Stop twisting my words around, Brittany.

Brittany: Can we please not talk about this anymore? Okay, so you didn't run from the room. What do you want, a medal?

J.T.: Why are you making this about me?

Brittany: Because it is so easy for you to stand there and say these things. "Cheer up, it's not that bad." What if it had happened to you?

J.T.: I'd find a way to cope.

Brittany: Oh, yeah, just like that, huh?

J.T.: No, not just like that. I'm sure it'd be hard as hell, brittany. But I wouldn't be sitting around this apartment all day long feeling sorry for myself.

Brittany: I don't have to listen to this.

J.T.: Hey, you don't even realize how fortunate you are. You could've been killed, Brittany. You're lucky to be alive, but you're not even grateful.

Brittany: Of course I'm grateful.

J.T.: Well, start acting like it. If you can't realize all this stuff you got goin' on for you, all this good stuff, all the people that care about you, then you know what? You're gonna wind up alone and miserable, and that's exactly what you'll deserve.

Damon: Are you really all that ready to give up what you had with Jack?

Phyllis: I'm not sure I'm the one who's giving up. I mean, every time I try to talk to my husband, Dianeís hanging all over him. And he really doesn't seem to mind. So what does that tell you?

Damon: Tells me you better hurry up and make your move.

Phyllis: Yeah? Well, when I do, she'll be there to let it slip out that she forced me to give him the orchid. And then he'll really want nothing to do with me.

Damon: Uh, Phyllis, I don't think I'd really worry about that. Jack already knows.

Phyllis: Oh. What? How? Because Diane said she didn't tell him.

Damon: She didnít. Drucilla did.

Phyllis: Oh, Drucilla did. Oh, that's rich. Great, Diane may as well have told him herself. Please. It's amazing. No wonder my husband doesn't mind Diane hanging all over him. He's waiting for that other orchid, the one he knows that I won't give him because I don't have it. Diane has it. She'll give it to him.

Damon: Listen to me. Listen to me.

Phyllis: No, I'm not gonna listen to you. I know what's going on here. Listen, I can compete with one orchid. I can't compete with two orchids and a son!

Damon: Nah, nah, nah, nah. Phyllis, shut up. You are not a woman who's powerless. That ain't you. That's an imposter. That's somebody pretending to be Phyllis. What you need to do, beautiful child, is make a decision. Figure out what it is you want and then take it.

Brad: Are you sure about this?

Jack: It's a fact, Brad. Diane forced Phyllis to give me back the orchid.

Brad: Now how'd you find out Diane was behind it?

Jack: Drucilla.

Brad: Diane just happened to spill the beans to Genoa City's town crier?

Jack: I know. I know, makes you wonder.

Brad: What in the world was Dianeís motive for this sudden show of altruism?

Jack: She knew I still love Phyllis. She wanted to try to help.

Brad: Come on, Jack. You buy that?

Jack: No, I didn't at first. Brad, I'm telling you, Diane is a different woman these days.

Brad: Uh-huh. She's dropped the torch she's carried for you all these years. Buddy, if you believe that--

Jack: I don't know what I believe. I do know she wants me to be happy.

Brad: Really? Complete 180?

Jack: You should see it, Brad, she... she's changed. Kyle's happy. He's finally got a Mom now. You would not believe how different she is.

Brittany: Obviously, you talked to Raul.

J.T.: He's worried about you, Brittany.

Brittany: I told him to forget about me, move on with his life.

J.T.: Oh, you think he can just turn his feelings on and off? He's scared out of his mind. He wants you to lean on him, but you wonít.

Brittany: Because I have to do this on my own.

J.T.: Oh, what, just the hell with everyone else? You know, you are so self-centered, Brittany.

Brittany: You can be such a bastard.

J.T.: Why, because I won't baby you like Bobby and Raul do?

Brittany: No, because you're judging me, and you don't even know what I'm dealing with. I fall asleep at night, and in my dreams I look like my old self. And then I wake up, and I catch my reflection in the mirror, and I don't even recognize the person staring back at me.

Brittany: It's like... being awake is the real nightmare. I don't enjoy pushing Raul away from me. I know I'm hurting him, but how can I let him get close to me when I hate myself so much?

J.T.: He loves you.

Brittany: He loves the old Brittany.

J.T.: No, you're wrong.

Brittany: Well, that's what he said, but I know that he thinks what everyone else thinks when they see me-- "oh, that poor girl. Isn't that terrible?" Well, they can take their whispers and their stares and go to hell, because I don't need anyone to remind me of what I am-- a freak, a horrible, ugly, disgustingó[J.T. kisses her.]

Grace: You don't have to answer that. It obviously does bother you.

Nick: Grace, you know, I don't keep tabs on every move my wife makes. She went to a bar. So what? I'm sure she has a reasonable explanation.

Grace: Oh, Nick, give me a break! Are you gonna tell me you haven't noticed anything the least bit strange in the way she's been acting? Sure you have. I can see it in your eyes. Have you ever stopped to ask yourself why or when it all started? Well, gee, let me guess. Could it be New Yearís Eve, right after a certain business associate of yours suddenly vanished into thin air?

Nick: Okay, that is enough. I'm not gonna listen to anymore of this. I want you to leave now.

Grace: Fine, I'll leave. Because I know damn well the things I said, they've hit home, haven't they?

Nikki: You do realize that you're in this mess because of your dishonesty.

Sharon: Excuse me?

Nikki: Sharon, all you had to do was go to Nicholas and tell him that this Cameron was threatening you. No, you end up in a motel room with the guy--

Sharon: Well, I made a mistake, damn it, all right?

Nikki: Oh, you sure did. That's an understatement.

Sharon: Nikki, there's nowhere else for me to turn. I'm begging you to help me. Please give me an alibi.

Nikki: How the hell am I supposed to do that? What do you want me to do, lie to the police?

Sharon: This was Cameronís fault. It was not mine.

Nikki: So you say. (Knock on door)

Sharon: Oh, my God.

Nikki: What? Who is it?

Sharon: It's Detective Weber. He's back.
