(Playing classical tune) (door opens)

Victor: You and I haven't said two words to each other since I came home for christmas.

Nikki: Victor, there's really nothing to say. It's been said.

Victor: So you're still angry with me. I guess I should be used to that by now.

Nikki: Used to what?

Victor: Everyone blaming me for their problems.

Nikki: I don't blame you for all my problems, just the ones that are your fault.

Victor: Hmm. I wasn't talking about you. I ran into brad carlton and ashley at the athletic club dining room.

Nikki: Oh, god, I hope you had the sense to stay away from them.

Victor: I just went over to their table to wish them merry christmas.

Nikki: Victor. Ashley doesn't need the complications that you bring to her life. When are you gonna understand that?

Brad: Ash seemed fine. We had a nice meal, and then I noticed during dessert, she seemed a little out of it.

John: What do you mean, "out of it"?

Brad: She didn't even know I was there. She was off in the ozone somewhere.

John: But then she snapped out of it, right?

Brad: Yeah. But then newman came over to where we were sitting, and we got into it.

John: But only verbally, right?

Brad: Apparently, that was enough to send her over the edge.

John: Oh, my god! I mean, he is the reason that she's suffered so much these past few months. I mean, did he think he could just waltz over there, make small talk as if nothing ever happened?

Brad: Listen, john, I am just as angry at victor as you are, but the fact is I can't shove all the blame on him.

John: What's that supposed to mean?

Brad: If I hadn't let myself get sucked into an argument, maybe none of this would have happened. (Doorbell rings)

Neil: Okay, just, uh, give me--

Dru: What's going on?

Neil: Give me one more second. Hold on, hold on. Just...

Dru: Golly!

Lily: Such a nerd!

Neil: Hold your horses. Hold your...

Lily: (Giggles)

Dru: Oh! Ooh! I'm loving this.

Neil: Keep 'em closed. Keep your eyes closed. Eyes closed.

Dru: Okay.

Neil: Lily, come on in.

Dru: Is it tradition to keep the bride in the dark?

Neil: Baby, come on out. Here you go. I'm gonna set you down.

Dru: I'm opening my eyes. Oh... oh, my... oh, honey. Oh, my god! Look at this place. Sweetheart!

Lily: Oh, it's incredible.

Dru: When did you do all of this?

Neil: Well, darlin', you knew the next door condo was for sale, right?

Dru: Yes, honey, and you bought it for us?

Neil: No one else, my love.

Neil: Welcome home, baby. Welcome home.

Dru: It's beautiful. Lily.

Neil: Come here.

Dru: (Laughing)

J.T.: You know, why did i let you drag me over here?

Paul: Because you know it's for your own good. It gives you a chance to cool off.

J.T.: Yeah, well, I'm cool, okay? All right? I'm fine.

Paul: Who are you trying to convince, J.T.-- Me or you?

J.T.: You know what? I'm outta here.

Paul: And what? What are you gonna do? You gonna find kevin? Come on, kid. Sit down and think about this.

J.T.: I'm not a kid, okay? I don't need a time-out.

Paul: Suit yourself. But you're not going to accomplish anything by doing that, and you're definitely not gonna help colleen.

J.T.: Yeah, well, at least I'll be doing something.

Paul: Well, if that's what's important, then take your best shot. But listen to me. If you want results, and you wanna nail this guy, then I think you'd be well advised to listen to me. (Telephone rings) (ring)

Sharon: Hello?

Cameron: Well, you sound a little breathless, which can only mean that you're terribly excited about helping me with this party.

Sharon: Damn it, you listen to me, and you listen good.

Cameron: So you started making calls, inviting people? 'Cause I wanna make sure we have an interesting mix.

Sharon: God. How I hate you. I am not going to do this for you.

Cameron: Okay. Does your husband know about that? Because nick seemed, uh, he seemed pretty hap about the two of us working together on this, and, uh, well, I'd hate for you to disappoint him by disappointing me.

Sharon: I will handle nick. Now will you please,

please leave me alone? Stop manipulating me, and stop making threats.

Cameron: Wear something sexy.

Sharon: Cameron!

Ceron: I'll be in touch, see how the guest list is coming. Sweet dreams, honey. I'll talk to you tomorrow. O[Sneezing]

Nikki: Victor, you need to stay out of ashley's life. You stir things up. What happened now?

Victor: I don't know.

Nikki: What do you mean, you don't know?

Victor: Ashley got up from the table and went to get her gloves and coat. I guess carlton and I got in some kind of an argument, so ashley heard that when she came back out again and let out this eerie scream. To be frank with you, I'm very concerned about her.

Nikki: You have got to stay away from her. You can't help. You can only hurt.

Victor: I honestly don't think that ashley feels that way.

Brad: Thanks for coming over, liv.

Olivia: So how is she?

Brad: The same, I'm afraid.

John: Olivia, can you do anything for her?

Olivia: John, I only got the basics over the phone. I mean, how has she been the past few days?

Brad: A little distracted, maybe.

Olivia: Okay, nothing that set off any alarms?

Brad: No, not at all.

John: But apparently it happened after dinner.

Olivia: You were at the athletic club?

Brad: Yeah.

Olivia: Tell me exactly what happened.

Brad: One minute, she seemed fine, the next, she was totally spaced out. I had to say her name three or four times before she finally responded.

Olivia: And then?

John: Newman showed up.

Brad: Ostensibly to wish us a happy holiday.

Olivia: You mentioned on the phone that you and victor got into an argument.

Brad: Yeah. Before that happened, ash left, and I don't remember why. Then things got a little nasty. Suddenly there was a scream. It was ash, and she was just standing there, staring at victor and me. That was the last time she said anything.

Olivia: And she hasn't spoken since?

Brad: Not a word. That's why I called you and john. I thought one of you might be able to get through to her.

John: Let me try, brad.

John: Ashley? Ashley, honey? My beauty? Hey, it's dad. Can you hear me? Now, ashley, you've gotta come back to us, honey. You know, you've been doing so well lately. (Voice breaking) and you're a strong girl. You're strong. We love you so much. You know that, don't you? Honey, we're trying to help you. Please, you know that. Ashley, honey.

Brad: John, let's let liv examine ash.

J.T.: Look, you got something to say, go ahead and say it. But it better be good, because so far, no one's been able to do jack about this guy.

Paul: All right, well, it could be as simple as that they're going about it the wrong way.

J.T.: Meaning what?

Paul: Maybe what is needed here is a fresh look, somebody new on the case.

J.T.: Like you.

Paul: Like me.

J.T.: Well, no offense, but the cops have already been over everything. What makes you think you're gonna have any better luck at this?

Paul: Well, for one thing, I'm not a cop. There are things that I can do that the police can'T. They're bound by very strict rules and regulations as far as gathering evidence goes, things like that.

J.T.: Oh, so because you're a P.I., You can bend the rules like no one else.

Paul: J.T., Let's just say that, um... I have different rules.

J.T.: Okay. But you gotta know something about this guy. This kevin is a sick, clever bastard. And the way he's covered his tracks in this thing-- I don't know what to do.

Paul: Well, who's to say there isn't more evidence out there--evidence that has been overlooked?

J.T.: You really think that you can nail this guy?

Paul: You said yourself the guy is smart. He is also very cocky. That means he's gonna slip up.

J.T.: You think?

Paul: He's gonna become overconfident. He's gonna think he's god, and when he does that, I will nail him. It has happened a thousand times before with the same result. So what do you say? You want me to take a shot?

Nikki: Look, I really don't wanna talk about ashley. That whole situation is very upsetting to me.

Victor: You talk to nicholas?

Nikki: Yes. I don't wanna get into it.

Victor: Where'd you talk to him--in my office, running my company?

Nikki: Is that upsetting to you, after everything that's happened?

Victor: What do you think? I found the arrogance on his part as very presumptuous.

Nikki: Well, as nicholas said, who else would be as qualified?

Victor: I was thinking of talking to victoria again.

Nikki: Victor, you can't talk to victoria. She's gone. She's left town. I don't know when we're gonna see her again.

Victor: What do you mean, she's left town? Why didn't you tell me?

Nikki: Everything's been so chaotic, I haven't had a chance to tell you. We're not even a family anymore, victor. Christmas eve was awful, filled with tension.

Victor: I'm sorry about that.

Victor: I'll go and try to find victoria.

Nikki: No. No, you're not. She doesn't want to be found. She doesn't want to be part of this family right now. She's asked for time alone to heal. We have to give her that.

Victor: If I wanna find my daughter, I'll find my daughter.

Nikki: Yeah, I know you will.

Dru: Oh, honey, honey, you outdid yourself with our bedroom. That means you were dealing with architects and contractors, and you must have gotten yourself an incredible crew up in through here.

Neil: Oh, yeah, the minute we left town.

Dru: And then you expanded the space here, hired an interior decorator. Honey, you were on point.

Neil: Did a hell of a job.

Dru: Yes, indeed.

Lily: Man, this is unreal. Look at all this room.

Dru: Sweetheart, this is the most amazing gift ever, I got to tell you. This is like, what, a wedding gift, a christmas gift, a coming home gift, all wrapped up in one?

Neil: A new home to start our new life as a family together.

Dru: Oh, sweetie.

Lily: Whoa, you guys, we have 19 messages.

Dru: Oh, honey, who cares about the messages? We'll check the messages later. Right now, we're concentrating on us.

Neil: Amen.

Lily: You guys do realize what day it is tomorrow?

Neil: It's new year's eve. A day to celebrate where we've been and where we're going.

Lily: You know, I want to go to church on january 1st, say thanks for all the good things that have happened.

Dru: That's my baby.

Lily: Yeah, my mom and dad are back together again, forever this time.

Neil: Mm-hmm.

Lily: We had a great vacation in japan.

Neil: The beginning of a whole new chapter in your life, lily.

Lily: Yeah. I really do believe that, dad. I do. I mean, things will be okay. I'm a lot stronger now. And whatever I have to do to help the police keep kevin from hurting anyone else... just know that I'll do it.

Neil: Good girl.

Lily: I want to make you guys proud of me.

Neil: That's my girl.

Dru: Honey, we are so proud of you. Not only are you beautiful and intelligent, but, sweetheart, you are courageous. And I know that you are going to handle whatever life deals you.

Neil: Hey, um, I don't know if it's jet lag or what, but you know something? I'm starving. I could eat a horse.

Dru: Nothing in the refrigerator, I can tell you that.

Lily: Ooh, let's get takeout.

Dru: Okay, did I say intelligent? I meant brilliant.

Neil: I vote for pizza.

Lily: Ooh, extra pepperoni.

Dru: Ribs for me, extra sauce.

Lily: Mom. (Doorbell rings)

Dru: Yes. Right here.

Neil: Hold on. Let me see who that is.

Lily: They don't have ribs.

Dru: "Ribs, extra sauce." Right there.

Lily: Okay. Okay.

Neil: Just a minute. Yeah.

Kevin: Hello, mr. Winters.

Dru: You want a salad?

Lily: A caesar.

J.T.: Look, I don't know how much more I can tell you. I've been over this, like, a million times in my head.

Paul: No, no, you're doing fine. I'm getting a really good profile of this guy.

J.T.: Good.

Paul: All right, a couple of more questions.

J.T.: Yeah, shoot.

Paul: You said that lily didn't realize how old kevin really was.

J.T.: No, not at first. She thought she was talking to some kid in a teen chat room.

Paul: And you're sure it had to be kevin that gave lily the sexually transmitted disease?

J.T.: Yeah, it has to be. Lily's never been with anybody else, before or after.

Paul: All right. Can you tell me why you're so convinced that it had to be kevin that grabbed colleen and put her in the-- the walk-in cooler and started the fire at gina's?

J.T.: This guy likes messing around with young girls, you know, 'cause it makes him feel like the big man, the guy in control. He doesn't like to be crossed.

Paul: And colleen crossed him, right?

J.T.: Yeah. Yeah, a lot of times, but especially that day.

Paul: Okay, tell me what happened.

J.T.: Well, colleen and her friend sierra, they thought that lily was getting in way over her head. And that day, lily skipped school, and they were pretty sure it was to hang out with kevin.

Paul: Uh-huh.

J.T.: So they went over to lily's parent.

Paul: Good for them.

J.T.: Yeah, but what happened was neil winters went ballistic. He found out from colleen where kevin lived. He tore over there and threatened fisher with jail if he ever went anywhere near his daughter ever again.

Paul: So kevin figured out that it had to be colleen.

J.T.: Yeah, that ratted him out, right.

Paul: That it?

J.T.: No, not quite. Then there's the fire at gina'S. That afternoon, colleen got a phone call from someone at her granddad's office, saying that her granddad wanted to meet her at gina's before the gala. And as I was watching that fire burn, totally freaked out, 'cause I thought... I thought colleen might be inside, her granddad said that he knew nothing about the phone call.

Paul: So it was a setup.

J.T.: It has to be. That's what I figure.

Paul: That's a good job, putting all this together. The pieces fit.

J.T.: Yeah, well, how do you nail him?

Paul: Well... that's our next step.

"the young and the restless"

will continue. e{{{{v v v v v v v v b b

the way I talk

Victor: What kind of fish was it, huh? You thought it was a fish?

Ashley: So you said that you had a surprise for us after lunch, honey?

Victor: I do, indeed.

Abby: What is it, daddy?

Victor: Well, I have tickets for "animals on ice"...

Ashley: (Gasps)

Victor: For my two favorite ladies.

Ashley: Oh, now how did you do that? That show's been sold out for months.

Victor: Yeah, but you know that wouldn't stop me.

Ashley: Oh, silly me. Of course. Did you know that your daddy is a magician?

Victor: Do you know what "animals on ice" is all about? No? It's a huge indoor ice rink, and instead of people skating on the ice, you have animals skating on it. Bears and tigers and elephants skating on ice.

Abby: Elephants can't skate. (Giggles)

Ashley: They're not real elephants, silly. Just wait till you see it. You're gonna love it.

Victor: Come here. Sit with daddy. Up. There we go. You know it's supposed to snow tomorrow? You don't? Well, if it does, it's gonna be cold. And then mommy and you and i will build a big snowman. How's that? And then because it is cold, we'll go inside later on, and we'll build a fire. Then we'll roast some marshmallows.

Abby: I would love that, daddy.

Victor: Would you? Yeah.

Ashley: I think our daughter loves you to pieces.

Victor: Sometimes I don't know how I've survived without you and abby for so long.

Olivia: Well, all her vital signs appear normal.

John: Thank god.

Brad: Maybe with a little rest, she'll come out of it.

Olivia: A little rest? She needs more than that, brad. We have to get her to the hospital.

Brad: No. Absolutely not. No more hospitals.

Sharon: Victor. Oh, gosh, I know it's late. Are you here all by yourself?

Victor: No, nikki's upstairs. What's on your mind?

Sharon: You seem a little upset.

Victor: Yeah. I just had some rather bad news.

Sharon: Well, maybe this isn't such a good time.

Victor: No, please stay. You and I haven't talked for awhile.

Sharon: No, not since christmas.

Victor: That's right.

Sharon: You know, I'm really glad that you decided to come home. It would have been pretty awful without you.

Victor: Things went better than I expected. Although, I don't want to think of what might happen in the future. I don't want to dwell on that.

Sharon: Victor, I'm so sorry.

Victor: Do you mind staying for awhile so we can talk? I just need to get my mind off things. I need some diversion.

Sharon: Okay. Well, actually, I happen to have one.

J.T.: "Our" next step?

Paul: You've got a handle on this case. How would you like to help me out?

J.T.: Are you serious?

Paul: I could use another set of eyes and ears. I could take you under my wing, you can work as my apprentice, and you can learn something about criminal investigation.

J.T.: I... this is unbelievable.

Paul: So I take that as a yes?

J.T.: Yeah, you can take that as a yes. This is great.

Paul: Okay, fine, under one condition. I am the boss. You do what I say. Under no circumstances do you go off half-cocked and lose control.

J.T.: Okay.

Paul: Is that clear?

J.T.: Yeah, yeah, it's clear. I hear you.

Paul: Okay, then, it looks like I have a new right hand. Welcome aboard.

J.T.: Thanks. I won't let you down.

Neil: You've got some nerve, showing up at my house. What do you want?

Kevin: Mr. Winters, I'm not here to make trouble.

Neil: Didn't I tell you to stay far, far away from my daughter? Now I suggest you turn around, you get the hell outta here right now, you hear me?

Lily: Dad...

Neil: Lily, I want you to--

Lily: Kevin.

Neil: Lily, lily, come here.

Lily: What are you doing here?

Dru: You again.

Kevin: I was explaining--

Dru: You ain't explaining nothing. How the hell did you get past security and land your behind at my front door?

Kevin: Please, if you let me just explain--

Dru: No, I know what you did to my daughter, and I could tear your head off with my bare hands.

Neil: Let me deal with this!

Kevin: Please, please, I came to apologize.

Dru: You came to what?

Kevin: I came to apologize for this whole, crazy misunderstanding.

J.T.: Hey.

Colleen: Hey.

J.T.: Everything okay?

Colleen: Yeah, just fine. You were gone awhile.

J.T.: Yeah, that's why I gave you my key. I wasn't sure how long I'd be. So, uh, what'd you do without me?

Colleen: Gosh, I, uh, raided the fridge, I went through your drawers. Found a couple of things.

J.T.: You did not.

Colleen: How do you know?

J.T.: All right, did you find anything interesting?

Colleen: Yeah, actually, I-I found your stash of--

J.T.: Y-you know, uh, I'm--I'm gonna get rid of those. Those are old.

Colleen: Really?

J.T.: Yeah.

Colleen: You were gonna throw away your guitar magazines?

J.T.: All right, you got me.

Colleen: Mm-hmm.

J.T.: You're funny.

Colleen: So how'd it go with paul?

J.T.: Okay, I guess.

Colleen: You don't sound too positive. What'd you two talk about?

J.T.: What else--kevin.

Colleen: Well, I hope the guy still has an office left, because if you had seen yourself at the coffeehouse--

J.T.: Yeah, I know. I know. But I'm all right now. And more than that, I got a surprise for you.

Colleen: Really? What?

J.T.: Me. I'm a private eye now.

Sharon: What are you doing on new year's eve?

Victor: To be honest with you, I hadn't given it much thought. I guess I don't feel much like celebrating.

Sharon: Well, I can understand that, but... what if I told you that cameron kirsten is throwing this new year's eve party at the athletic club, and it's nothing big, but I am in charge of the guest list, and I would really like it if you and nikki would come. So can I count you in?

Victor: You know, as bleak as things have been, I'd rather not put a damper on anyone's evening. Thanks for asking, but... I think I'll stay home. Maybe nikki feels differently.

Sharon: Well, I'm sorry, but that's just not acceptable. Because I really want you to be there. In fact, I insist.

Olivia: Brad, I really believe that we should take her--

Brad: No. No, liv. My wife is not going back to the hospital.

Olivia: But her symptoms have recurred.

Brad: It could just be a minor setback.

Olivia: If we take the conservative approach and treat her at the hospital, we'll best be able to respond to her situation.

Brad: At the hospital, she's isolated from me. She's isolated from her daughter. It's a cold, sterile environment. I can't believe that's the best thing for ash. Liv, she needs her family around her. She needs to be surrounded by love, and not just when I come visit her, all the time, day and night.

John: Now, olivia, brad makes a very, very good point.

Brad: Listen, I believe in my heart that with your help we can deal with this right here at home, and that's the best thing for ash.

Olivia: I gotta say, it's against my better judgment.

Brad: Well, so be it. But I refuse to rush to the hospital every time ash has a problem. Doctors start poking her and prodding her and testing her-- that's no way to live.

Olivia: And what if she doesn't make any progress at home?

Brad: Then I'll reconsider. In the meantime, ash stays home, surrounded by the people she loves and who love her. That's the best medicine.

Colleen: You, a private eye? Come on.

J.T.: No, I'm being serious. Paul offered me a job. He wants me to be his apprentice.

Colleen: Wow. That is amazing.

J.T.: I was telling him why I was so convinced that kevin was the guy who started this fire, you know, how all the pieces fell together, and he just offered me a job, just like that.

Colleen: My boyfriend, a private eye. Do you get to wear a badge or one those trench coats?

J.T.: No. No badge. No trench coat.

Colleen: Oh, but all the best private eyes wear trench coats.

J.T.: In the movies.

Colleen: Fine, fine, take all the fun out of it. But tell me you get to wear disguises.

J.T.: Well, paul seems pretty low-key. I don't think he's into all that crazy stuff.

Colleen: Well, he better not do anything crazy, because he has my boyfriend working for him now. So what's your first case?

J.T.: What do you think? Kevin. We're gonna nail him, colleen.

Colleen: You have to be careful. You know how dangerous he is.

J.T.: No, we're brining him down. And that's what's so cool, is paul is completely in synch with this. Now we got a professional working on our side. He's not gonna let me do anything stupid.

Colleen: Yeah, I know that, but kevin...

J.T.: Yeah, I know. I know. But don't worry, I'll be careful.

Colleen: Well, you better be careful. I'd kill you if you let anything happen to you, mr. Private investigator.

Kevin: I know you're both mad at me, and I really can't blame you. And this whole thing was really just a big, mixed up mistake. But I want you to know how sorry I am for all of the misunderstanding and the miscommunication and confusion.

Dru: There's nobody confused except you, dizzy boy. We know what you did with our daughter.

Neil: Drucilla...

Dru: You--

Neil: Get in there. Stop it.

Neil: You must think it's funny, coming to our house, playing these sick games. Well, let me tell you something, son, playtime is over, 'cause you're going to jail.

Dru: Jail.

Kevin: You shouldn't get so worked up. It's really nohealthy to be so stressed out.

Lily: Oh, yeah, like you care!

Kevin: I do care, lily. I really wish we could put all this nastiness behind us.

Dru: You know, I'm calling the police on your behind.

Kevin: What for?

Neil: What you think for, man? Because you're violating the restraining order.

Kevin: Actually, I'm not. It's been lifted.

Olivia: If you feel that strongly about it, I won't fight you.

Brad: Thanks, liv. I appreciate it.

Olivia: I gotta get back to the hospital.

John: Bradley, I should be going to, unless you want me to stay.

Brad: No, john, that's okay. There's nothing you can do right now.

John: I'll see you soon, my sweetheart.

John: God, I can't stand to see her like this again.

Brad: Hey, listen, she's going to come out of this. I know she is.

Olivia: Brad, I want you to call me if you need anything or if there's any change.

Brad: I will.

Olivia: I can be here in ten minutes.

Brad: Thanks, liv.

John: I'll see you out.

Olivia: Come on.

Brad: Ash, it's me. It's brad. I know you can't talk right now, but I believe you can hear me, and I need you to listen. This is important.

Victor: You seem very determined.

Sharon: Yes, I am.

Victor: I'm glad to hear that you feel like socializing and having some fun. It'S... you deserve it.

Sharon: Well, everyone in this family deserves it. And I just think that we should enjoy the holiday. You know, we should relax and try to put everything that's happened aside for a few days.

Victor: If only that were possible.

Sharon: Well, of course it is.

Victor: You know that if I show up at the party, there's gonna be tension. So why don't the rest of you go and just have some fun, you know?

Sharon: Well, I'm sorry, but I'm not taking no for an answer, okay? I really want you to be at this party.

Victor: Why are you so insistent?

Sharon: Well, for one, look, cameron kirsten and newman enterprises are doing business together.

Victor: Hmm.

Sharon: But the main reason was I just felt really good about christmas, and I thought that that was a real turning point for us.

Victor: Mm-hmm.

Sharon: I think that it is so important that we try to build on that. The family needs to be together for new year'S. We need to be around other people. We need to find some positive things for this family to build on, and I think it would do everyone some good, especially you. Now I'm not expecting any miracles, but we have to at least try. Isn't there some way that you and nikki can just... put your troubles behind you, just for one evening?

Victor: I don't know if that's possible, sharon.

Sharon: Well, it is possible, okay? I know it's possible. Please say that you will come to this party. Just at least make an appearance. You have no idea how much this means to me.

Victor: You mean, nikki and I and... you and my son. I don't know.

Sharon: Please. Victor, please, don't say no.

Brad: I'm so terribly sorry, ash. I let things get out of control.

Brad: You know that I would never do anything deliberately to hurt you or upset you. You're my whole life-- you, abby and colleen. You were doing so much better. I-I guess for a moment, I forgot how fragile you still are. Can you ever forgive me?

Brad: You know how much I love you, don't you? All I've ever wanted to do is protect you and keep you safe. Instead, I've caused you to withdraw again.

Brad: Ash... I need you to come back to me. Try. Try hard. We can do this together. I'll be right by your side. I need you.

Brad: Abby needs her mommy, so please try, ash. Come back to us.

J.T.: So when you were snooping around my kitchen, did you happen to find any popcorn?

Colleen: Yeah, a couple of bags. Why?

J.T.: Well, I was thinking maybe we could make some, watch a movie, I don't know, cuddle on the couch a little bit.

Colleen: You want to stay in and watch a movie and cuddle on the couch? You are full of surprises today, aren't you?

J.T.: Yeah, that's me, mr. Full-of-surprises.

Kevin: Go ahead and call if you'd like to confirm. I'm surprised the detective didn't tell you.

Neil: No, the police didn't call. I don't underst-- what's going on here?

Kevin: See what I mean? More confusion, miscommunication.

Dru: Liar.

Lily: Why would they lift the restraining order?

Kevin: Simple, no evidence.

Neil: What?

Kevin: They tested my blood. It came back negative. I don't have chlamydia or any other diseases.

Neil: Lily... (snaps fingers) get in the living room now.

Kevin: I... of course, I knew that, but now there's proof. Or I should say no proof that I was ever with your daughter. It wasn't me. It was all just a big mistake. So no more restraining order. Anyway, that's why I'm here, to say that I don't have any hard feelings. So what do you say, mr. Winters?

Neil: I don't know how you pulled this off, but I'm gon' get to the bottom of it, and when I do, you're goin' down, do you hear me?

Dru: Honey, don't get your hands dirty. Don't get your hands dirty.

Kevin: Thank you, mrs. Winters. I...

Dru: Hush. Okay? Just hush. Now I know you think you won... well, let me tell you something, we just begun to rumble.

Lily: Oh, my god.

Cameron: It's a small motel on the south side of town. I want you to meet me there after the party.
