Sean: Jill, what are you doing?
Jill: Making sure that Amanda gets what's coming to her.
Sean: We can clear this up without involving the cops.
Jill: Oh, there's nothing to "clear up." The woman's a thief. And I'm not gonna stand back and do nothing.
Katherine: What in the world is going on in here?
Jill: Oh, Katherine, you're just in time.
Katherine: Why are those officers in my home?
Jill: Those officers are in my home because I called them. My ruby bracelet is missing, Katherine, as if you didn't know. And the culprit is standing right there.
Ramona: Victor, I realize I'm being forward. Maybe too forward. But after what happened the last time I went to Genoa City --
Victor: You mean when Diane Jenkins told you a lie by claiming that she and I were still involved.
Ramona: Yes. After that, I couldn't stop thinking about you. And I made a promise to myself. The next time I had an opportunity, I was gonna grab it. And here you are. So -- please just say something, Victor.
Victor: I'm very flattered.
Victor: It cannot be.
Ramona: I see. Why are you here?
Victor: I don't really know. I guess I wanted to make sure that the choice I'd made was the right one. I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression.
Ramona: Oh, please don't. Don't apologize. I should be the one apologizing. I'm sorry you no longer find me desirable.
Victor: That, I assure you, is not the case.
Nikki: Where did you get these?
Leanna: What difference does it make?
Nikki: It's a fake.
Leanna: What? Do you think I whipped it up on my computer?
Nikki: I wouldn't put it past you.
Leanna: Trust me, Nikki, that picture is the real thing.
Nikki: Even if it is, this could have been taken years ago.
Leanna: Well, you can believe whatever you want, but at this very moment, Victor is in New Mexico with Ramona.
Nikki: You know, you disgust me. Just when I think you couldn't get any more pathetic, you prove me wrong. You will go to any lengths to hurt innocent people.
Leanna: Victor Newman, innocent? That's a laugh.
Max: I think the lady was referring to herself.
Leanna: That's also a laugh.
Nikki: Tell me, Mr. Hollister, how well do you know this creature? Did she tell you she's a journalist dedicated to seeking and uncovering the truth?
Max: I know who she is.
Nikki: Well, then you know she's nothing more than a hack. This picture and her whole story is nothing but a fabrication. And you know, the twisted part is, she doesn't know the difference. She actually believes her lies.
Leanna: Mr. Hollister doesn't think I'm lying.
Max: I'm pretty sure she isn't.
Leanna: Excuse me? You're pretty sure?
Sharon: So you want to convince Diego to stay in Genoa City?
Nick: Yeah, but I'm gonna need your help. It's gonna take both of us pulling together.
Sharon: Well, Nick, you know, we've already discussed this. If Diego wants to leave, that's his choice and he has the right to lead his own life.
Nick: I'm not saying he doesn't.
Sharon: So why do you want to interfere?
Nick: I think Raul needs his brother right now.
Sharon: Why? Did something happen?
Nick: Well, I don't know all the details, but I think the kid's going through something. And it would mean a lot if his brother was around. At least through graduation.
Sharon: Yeah, but still, if Diego already has a job or something lined up --
Nick: Yeah, I don't think he does.
Sharon: Well, there must be some reason he's so eager to go.
Nick: I don't get it. What's going on? It's like you're anxious to get rid of the guy.
Chantal: Here's that file you requested.
Chris: Thanks, Chantal. Just put it on the desk.
Chantal: You're in a good mood.
Michael: Yes. I'm in a very good mood.
Chantal: You won?
Michael: Our clients got full compensation plus, wait for it, damages.
Chantal: Gosh, Michael, that's terrific! I know you were sweating this one. Congratulations.
Michael: Thank you, thank you. But right now, it's time to celebrate. This is a big moment for our firm. Chantal, would you please do us the honor of getting us some glasses?
Chris: So you did it.
Michael: We did it.
Chris: No, you did most of the work.
Michael: Yeah, I did, but I wouldn't have won without your help.
Chris: I doubt that.
Michael: You do? Well, Christine, I incorporated your suggestions into my closing argument. And that is what turned the tide. We make a heck of a team. And you have no idea what it means to me having you back here, working with me again.
O'Brien: All right. Let me make sure I have this straight. You claim to have seen Ms. Browning in the bedroom earlier today?
O'Brien: Shortly thereafter, you noticed the drawer where you keep your jewelry was damaged, and that's when you discovered the bracelet was missing.
Jill: That is correct.
Katherine: Nonsense, Jill. You really call that proof that Amanda took it?
Jill: That's all the proof I need.
Katherine: Oh, don't be absurd, for heaven's sakes. I mean, you have no right accusing Amanda of such a thing.
Jill: Katherine, if Amanda didn't take the bracelet, why don't you tell us who did?
O'Brien: Let's get CSI out here for evidence.
Jill: What kind of evidence are you talking about?
Esther: You mean, in Jill's bedroom?
O'Brien: That's right.
Esther: But I go in there every day. My fingerprints must be everywhere!
O'Brien: We'll take that into consideration, ma'am.
Jill: You ready to get ink on those sticky fingers of yours?
O'Brien: You'll need to be fingerprinted, as well, Ms. Abbott.
O'Brien: We need to have prints from everyone who lives in this house. I assume that's just the five of you?
Katherine: No, no. My granddaughter lives with me, but she just doesn't happen to be at home at the moment.
O'Brien: What's her name?
Katherine: Mackenzie Browning.
O'Brien: Her age?
Amanda: Does my daughter really have to be involved in this?
O'Brien: We'll see how the first batch goes. We can always check the kid later. I have to run out to the squad car for a minute. I'll be right back.
Jill: Well done, Katherine. You have brought total chaos to our home.
Michael: You know, Christine, what I said earlier -- I hope you realize I meant every word of it. You bring out the best in me.
Chris: I'm glad you feel that way.
Michael: You have been distracted since I walked in here. Something on your mind? What am I looking for?
Chris: Bottom of the page.
Michael: Bottom of the page. Divorces, marriages. Paul Williams, Isabella Braņa. Looks like they're getting married.
Paul: Here you go.
Isabella: Thank you.
Paul: Look at him. Did he get enough to eat?
Isabella: Our son has quite an appetite.
Paul: I wonder where he got that from? What's the matter? What are you thinking about?
Isabella: Our wedding. I'm glad your mom showed up.
Paul: Yeah, me, too. I'm kinda surprised she stayed for the whole thing. I didn't think she'd make it through the whole ceremony.
Isabella: I think it's a good sign. Maybe she's starting to come around about us.
Paul: I hope so. You know, grandmothers make the best babysitters.
Isabella: Is that the only reason you're hopeful?
Paul: No, I love my mom, and I want her to be a part of Ricky's life. I just -- well, you know, as long as she doesn't tell us how to raise our son, everything will be fine.
Isabella: You know she'll have advice.
Paul: I know. Believe me, I know.
Isabella: I still can't believe it. We're married. Oh, my gosh.
Isabella: I just realized -- it's probably silly, but we didn't take a wedding photo.
Paul: That's not silly. In fact, it's not silly at all.
Nick: Look, Sharon, it's a pattern with this guy. He moves someplace, he hangs out for a little bit, and when the mood strikes, he just takes off again.
Sharon: Some people are like that.
Nick: It would be one thing if he had a job lined up or a girlfriend, but I seriously don't think he even knows where he's going.
Sharon: Well, I'm sure he'll land on his feet.
Nick: I think we should get him to stay.
Sharon: I think that we should just stay out of this.
Nick: I can't believe that you feel this way. I mean, we owe the guy. Have you forgotten everything he's done for us? He helped us get back together.
Sharon: No, Nick. I haven't forgotten, all right? It's just, that doesn't give us the reason to interfere in his personal life.
Nick: Look, he's a good guy. I like having him around and Cassie thinks the world of him.
Sharon: No, Nick. All right? I'm not gonna do it. I don't want any part of it.
Nick: Why? What's wrong?
Sharon: Diego is an adult. He can make his own decisions. You know what you're doing? You're acting like your father, trying to control everybody else's life. Well, I don't want to have any part of that!
Nick: Sharon, why are you so upset?
Sharon: I'm not upset!
Nick: Baby, yes, you are upset. And I don't get it. You agree that we owe this guy. I know you like him. Why are you so against him sticking around? I mean, is there more going on here? Something I don't know about?
Nick: We were just talking about you.
Diego: You were?
Nick: Yeah. You still planning on taking off?
Diego: Yeah, as soon as I get my act together. Why?
Nick: Well, I've got to be honest. I don't like the idea of you taking off right now. And I can't imagine why it's so important to you.
Victor: You're very desirable and very beautiful. But the fact is, I'm committed to someone else.
Ramona: You're not wearing a wedding band.
Victor: Not now, but perhaps soon.
Ramona: Who is she?
Victor: Someone I care about very much.
Ramona: Someone new?
Ramona: It's Nikki. Of course it is.
She's the mother of your children, the one true love of your life. It's her, isn't it?
Ramona: Well, I can't say I'm not envious of her. But I do have to wonder if she really deserves you, Victor. As far as I recall, the woman let you slip away.
Victor: In spite of everything she and I have been through, I've come to the conclusion that I cannot imagine life without her.
Ramona: So you are soul mates. And if that's the case, how can I not be happy for you? [Sighs] Do you think I can take a moment to freshen up? I'm feeling a little --
Leanna: Hard to take your eyes off it, isn't it?
Nikki: Get this trash out of my sight.
Leanna: Well, I printed that up for you. It's yours.
Leanna: I've been thinking back to the last time we spoke. You remember, don't you? You had just found out that Victor invited me to his apartment. You weren't really pleased about that.
Nikki: What is your point, Leanna?
Leanna: I remember thinking -- this is not the face of a woman who's living her fantasy. This is a woman who's scared.
Nikki: And why would I be scared?
Leanna: Of losing Victor.
Nikki: To you? Please.
Leanna: Well, I was very curious about it at the time. And since then, I've been trying to put the pieces together, and I think I've finally figured it out. Victor was giving you reason to doubt his commitment, wasn't he?
Max: All right, Leanna, ease up.
Nikki: Hey, I don't need your protection!
Leanna: Well, I certainly think you do need some help when it comes to dealing with Victor. You accuse me of going to any lengths when that describes that man to a "T." And we both know that from painful experience.
Nikki: All right, spare me the sisterhood speech. I don't buy it. Now get the hell out of here, both of you, or I'm gonna call security.
Nick: So what do you say, buddy? I mean, why don't you just stick around for a while. What reason could you have for needing to get out of here so fast?
Diego: Nick, look --
Nick: You don't have one, do you?
Diego: No, but still --
Nick: Then what's the hurry?
Diego: Like I told you, it's just time for me to get goin'.
Nick: What about your brother? He really needs you right now.
Diego: You know, it's a teenage thing. He'll grow out of it.
Nick: Diego, his graduation's right around the corner. Don't you want to see him go up on stage and get his diploma?
Diego: Yeah, sure, but still --
Nick: Look, I'm not asking you to stick around forever. Just wait till the end of the month. So keep your job here and stay on at the ranch.
Sharon: Nick's right. It does make sense for you to stay, at least till graduation.
Nick: So you'll stay?
Diego: Yeah. But only until the end of the month, Nick, that's it.
Nick: Hey, that's cool, man. It's better than nothing. You know, Cassie is gonna be so stoked. Can't wait to give her the good news.
Victoria: What good news?
Nick: Diego's not leaving. At least for the time being.
Diego: [Clears throat] You know, I gotta get to work.
Nick: All right. Not one word. We've already talked about this. I'm gonna get some stuff out of the office and then we can take off.
Victoria: So Diego's staying.
Sharon: Yeah, Nick talked him into it.
Victoria: And you let it happen? Why? I thought we agreed that it would be best for everyone if he were to leave town. How could you go along with this?
Victoria: I'm just trying to make sense out of this. I mean, one minute you can't wait to get rid of Diego. The next minute, you seem like you don't care. What's going on? What changed your mind?
Nick: Ready to go?
Sharon: Yeah. Sure am.
Nick: See ya, sis.
Sharon: See ya.
Victoria: I want to talk to you.
Diego: About what?
Victoria: Why aren't you leaving town?
Diego: You know, I don't owe you an explanation, Victoria.
Victoria: That's not an answer.
Diego: You know what? Nick had some good reasons I should stick around. He made some good points.
Victoria: Really? What were they?
Diego: If you want to know, go talk to your brother.
Victoria: Oh, I will. But right now, I'm talking to you.
Paul: Okay, you ready?
Isabella: Well, I didn't mean a picture of just me.
Paul: Well, I'm just setting the timer, silly. Here we go. Uh-oh.
Isabella: Hurry. Hurry, hurry.
Paul: Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.
Isabella: Smile. Smile. Paul, I'm so happy. Being married to you, it's just what I wanted for so long. Are you as happy as I am?
Michael: I got an idea. Why don't you let me take you out to dinner?
Chris: I don't think so.
Michael: Why not? You let me take you out for dinner the other night. It did wonders for your mood. Have you forgotten already?
Chris: No, I remember.
Michael: Then what's the problem?
Chris: I'm just not hungry. Okay? I had a late lunch.
Michael: Mmm-hmm. And perhaps you'd just like to be alone so you can brood.
Chris: You know something? I'll admit it, when I first saw that they had gotten a marriage license, I was a bit torn up. But now that it's sinking in, I almost feel better.
Chris: Yeah, this is a validation.
Michael: A validation of what?
Chris: Michael, marriage is a huge step. Paul wouldn't be doing this if his heart weren't in it. I did the right thing, setting him free. What he wanted all along was to be with Isabella and the baby. And this proves it.
Michael: Look, Christine, I don't want --
Chris: You know something? I really don't want to discuss this any further. Okay? So I'll just see you tomorrow.
Michael: Okay. Goodnight.
Katherine: Really, officer, is there any point in doing this? I mean, obviously, you are going to -- thank you -- find other fingerprints in Jill's room, because Amanda's already told you that she was in Jill's room looking for a band-aid for her cut finger.
O'Brien: It's just standard procedure, ma'am. We'll be upstairs for a bit.
Katherine: I'm so sorry about this, Amanda.
Amanda: It's not your fault, Katherine.
Katherine: Well, well, I feel responsible. After all, I just thought it would be nice for you to stay here so you could spend more time with Mackenzie. I didn't take into account that lunatic over there.
Jill: Oh, for God's sake. Stop trying to pretend that you weren't in on this. I know that you were behind this.
Katherine: Do you really think this is some sort of conspiracy?
Jill: I absolutely know it's a conspiracy. You told her to steal my bracelet.
Katherine: Why on God's green earth would you ever think of that?
Jill: To get me out of this house. It's never worked when you tried to intimidate me, so now you're trying mind games. Well, I'm telling you, it isn't gonna work this time, either.
Katherine: Wait a minute. Yes, yes, yes. Wait a minute. Oh, my dear. I see what's going on here. Of course. I cannot believe I did not realize it before.
Esther: What is it, Mrs. C.?
Katherine: Jill took the bracelet.
Jill: What? Why would I take my own bracelet?
Katherine: So you could frame Amanda.
Esther: I'll bet you're right.
Jill: Oh, shut up -- both of you! You're trying to divert attention away from Amanda.
Katherine: How dare you?! Now you have accused me of many things, and everybody else in this house of many, many things! But, by God, you've crossed the line, Jill!
Jill: Don't you dare touch me!
Sean: Jill, please.
Jill: You crazy old bat! What is wrong with you?! It's fine.
Katherine: Let go. It's all right.
O'Brien: So how'd it go?
CSI: We lifted several sets of prints from Ms. Abbott's room.
Jill: So, officer, what's next?
CSI: Well, we'll run a cross check, see what we get.
Katherine: Oh, for heaven's sakes. This is such a waste of everyone's time. Not to mention taxpayers' money. I hope you're satisfied, Jill. I really --
Jill: Oh, I won't be satisfied until that thief and whoever else helped her is put behind bars.
Katherine: You call her a thief one more time, I swear --
Jill: What, Katherine? What are you gonna do?
Katherine: I will choke you.
O'Brien: Hey, hey, hey! That is enough! Ladies, look, you can either cool down right here, right now, or you can do it down at the station.
Jill: Why aren't you arresting her?
CSI: Excuse me, ma'am. There's not enough evidence to justify an arrest. But the investigation remains active, okay? Now, we're gonna let the lab run these prints, then we'll take it from there.
O'Brien: You're all finished here?
O'Brien: All right, then. We'll be in touch. Don't leave town, ma'am.
Katherine: Are you saying she's a suspect?
O'Brien: Don't you leave town either.
Jill: Thank you, officer.
O'Brien: You're welcome. Goodnight.
Jill: I so look forward to justice being done.
Katherine: So do we all.
Victor: You look so beautiful.
Ramona: Victor, I've waited so long for you.
Victor: I care very deeply for you, and this is the hardest thing I ever had to do. But some things are just not meant to be. Please, don't. Please, don't. Do you understand? For once in my life, I'm trying to do something right.
Nikki: This is Nikki Newman. I need a security officer.
Leanna: Fine. I'm leaving.
Nikki: I'll call you back.
Leanna: I'll be in touch about our agreement. You'd better come through for me.
[Max clears throat]
Nikki: What are you still doing here?
Max: I just want you know, I feel bad about what just happened.
Nikki: Oh, you do?
Max: My target was Victor, not you.
Nikki: It's a little late for apologies.
Max: Regardless of how you came by this information, at least now you know the truth. I hope you realize you're better off without Victor. The guy just doesn't deserve you.
Nikki: You have a hell of a lot of nerve saying these things to me.
Max: I know we've just met, but --
Nikki: Mr. Hollister, you know the way out. Get going.
Nick: That smells good. I'm glad you suggested we stop at Gina's.
Sharon: We could have just eaten at the restaurant.
Nick: It's so much cozier here. 'Cause we can do stuff we can't do in public. You know, you still haven't thanked me, yet.
Sharon: For what?
Nick: Rescuing you from Victoria.
Sharon: Oh, that.
Nick: I know what you two were talking about.
Sharon: You do?
Sharon: You could hear us?
Nick: No, but she's been on such a crusade against that guy, lately. I figured she was trying to get you to help her. So that's what the "girl talk" in the office was all about, right? And that's why you have this attitude about Diego now. Okay, I get it. It all makes sense now. Look, I love my sister. And I know she means well. But she just doesn't know when to back off sometimes. She is wrong about Diego. He's a cool guy. And I don't see the harm in having him still around.
Katherine: Well, what a day this turned out to be. Are those your suitcases?
Katherine: Really? Are you off on a trip?
Sean: Nope. I'm moving out.
Katherine: Tonight? Well, I'm sorry to hear that. You know -- honestly, I must say, I'm sorry to see you go. But your taste in women, that -- I won't go there. [Chuckles]
Sean: Well, I should go.
Katherine: Uh, Sean, you know, stay in touch. You're welcome here any time you wish.
Sean: Thanks. Amanda, I'm sorry.
Katherine: Sean? I was just thinking, if Chancellor Industries ever needed a new webmaster, I'll call you.
Sean: You got it.
Katherine: Oh, Amanda, why don't you go up and get some sleep?
Amanda: Yeah, I think I'll make myself some tea. It might help me relax.
Katherine: Okay. And again, I apologize about today. That someone could think that you could do such a thing and be guilty of it -- I mean, it's just so outrageous to think about, even for a moment.
Amanda: You're right.
Katherine: You make sure you get some rest, young lady. All right? Okay. See you in the morning.
Ralph: It's me.
Ralph: What's the situation over there?
Amanda: It's a nightmare. Jill knows her bracelet's missing, okay? She called the cops. She wanted me arrested.
Ralph: You still have the old lady on your side?
Amanda: Yes, but --
Ralph: You'll be fine. Okay?
Amanda: Where are you, anyway?
Ralph: Don't worry about that.
Amanda: Ralph, don't tell me you haven't left town, yet.
Ralph: No, not yet.
Amanda: Oh, my God, Ralph. You told me that you were going to leave.
Ralph: Don't get me started, all right? The bracelet didn't give us the payoff we were hoping for. So we're gonna have to make another run.
Amanda: No. No, Ralph, forget it!
Ralph: Hey, will you calm down, all right? No reason to get all freaked out. To get the big payday, all we got to do is plan things a little better. That's all. And that's exactly what I intend to do.
Amanda: No. There won't be a next time, Ralph. Ralph? Ralph?
Ralph: You got what I want, lady. And one way or another, I'm gonna get it.
Paul: Look at you. Getting jealous? I get all the attention here. You want to hold him for
Chris: Yes, I do.
Paul: Yes. Our baby is so beautiful, isn't he?
Chris: He's just perfect.
Paul: Look how handsome he is.
Chris: Are you happy?
Paul: I'm happier than I ever imagined.
Chris: I never should have doubted you. Being here with you and this miracle that we created -- this is the way it was meant to be.
Paul: You're right. It was the way it was meant to be.
Isabella: Honey, I didn't mean to startle you. I'm sorry I woke you up. You just looked so happy. You had this wonderful sweet smile on your face. I just couldn't resist a kiss.
Diego: You know what? You're not talking to me, Victoria. You're talking at me, as usual.
Victoria: I'm gonna give you fair warning -- which is more than I think you deserve. You may think you're on a winning streak now, but you shouldn't underestimate me. I know you never planned to leave town. I know you have an agenda. And I'm gonna find out what it is.
Ramona: Well, despite the way this evening has turned out, it's been wonderful to see you again, Victor.
Victor: It was a very special evening for me as well.
Ramona: My dear Victor, I respect you more for that. Well, I am going to clean up and I'll be on my way.
Victor: Why do you leave already?
Ramona: Oh, I think I have to go before I make a fool out of myself again.
Victor: You didn't do that. You really didn't do that. Out to the limo. Tell the driver to get ready.
Ramona: Hello? Hello? Is anyone there?
Victor: I was waiting for you.
Ramona: I loved seeing you again.
Victor: Same here.
