Caleb: Sleep, sweetheart. just sleep. Like you said, so much was possible. So many dreams and then it all changed. Everything changed.
Caleb: You asked to see me, my lord?
Man: My son.
Caleb: Why have you called for me?
Man: It's been a long time in coming.
Caleb: Yes. Are you well?
Man: This life wasn't your choice.
Caleb: Choice? Father, you had me turned.
Mr. Morley: You made your peace with it, and I appreciate that you eventually embraced things as they are.
Caleb: As they had to be. I've always understood that.
Mr. Morley: And now it's time for you to complete what you started, time to accept your full birthright in every way -- your true destiny.
Alison: I'm sorry, Joshua, but there's just some things that I can't do.
Alison: And won't. I can't be with you in the way that you want.
Joshua: I understand but know this, Alison -- time is a miraculous thing. And through time, people change and minds change. I'm sorry that I've troubled you. Try to relax and enjoy what's left of this remarkable evening. I'll leave you to your private thoughts.
Alison: Thank you, Joshua.
Joshua: Oh, and remember this, Alison, I'm hoping that the light goes on soon. Very soon.
Alison: I don't think so, Joshua. you will never touch me like that.
Ian: Stop the transfusion now.
Jamal: Hey, what's going on here?
Rafe: Get this out of me.
Chris: Rafe -- Rafe, calm down.
Ian: She's having a reaction to the blood.
Chris: Must be anaphylactic shock. Pressure is 70 systolic, pulse is tacky.
Jamal: Hey, should I get somebody, Ian, or what?
Ian: Just get out of the way, please. Diphenhyamine, 50 milligrams.
Chris: I'm on it.
Ian: And an o2 mask.
Rafe: How did I get here?
Jamal: Hey, sit down. Relax, relax, relax.
Chris: Come on, Lucy.
Ian: It's not working.
Chris: Organs are going to start to shut down if we don't stabilize her, Ian. What's next?
Chris: It's worth a shot.
Ian: Go. Fine. Do it, do it. Lucy. Lucy?

Chris: Here's hoping.
Ian: Lungs are still clear.
Rafe: What happened? Something's wrong.
Jamal: Cool out.
Rafe: I got to get out of here. I was on my way --
Ian: Heart's tacky at 127.
Chris: The B.P.'S up. Temperature's down to 101.
Jamal just cool off --
Chris: Looks like she's stabilizing.
Ian: Not now.
Rafe: No, yes, right now.
Jamal: I tried to --
Rafe: What's going on?
Ian: It's all right.
Rafe: What's going on? What happened? What's happening to Lucy?
Ian: It was the only chance we had. I had to try.
Rafe: So, what, you knocked me out? I would have given you the blood.
Chris: Wouldn't have helped, anyway. We almost lost her.
Ian: Slayer blood wasn't the answer. Get me some labs, please.
Chris: Yeah, I'm on it.
Ian: I'm sorry.
Lucy: Ian? Ian?
Ian: Hi. Just relax. Don't speak.
Lucy: No, I want to know -- did the transfusion work?
Lucy: Did it? tell me.
Ian: Just relax.
Jamal: Rafe -- hey -- hey, hey -- how do you feel? Are you cool?
Rafe: Jamal, what are you doing here, anyway? You're supposed to be with Alison.
Jamal: I came here to get you. I came -- look at me. Look, Alison -- she needs you right now, ok? She's in trouble. Are you cool?
Rafe: Yeah, let's go.
Jamal: Come on.
Alison: Why are the lights out? What's going on?
[Ticking and chimes]
Alison: Joshua? Ouch. Joshua! this isn't going to work. It's too loud. It's -- it's too loud. Stop it! Stop it!
Joshua! I can't do this. I can't do this. Joshua!
[Ticking and chimes]
Joshua: Is something wrong, precious?
Alison: What are you doing? What's going on? Is this some sort of game?
Joshua: No, of course it's not.
Alison: The noise, the lights going out -- it's not going to work. It won't work with me.
Joshua: Listen to me carefully, Alison. What time is it?
Alison: What -- the time?
[Ticking and chimes]
Caleb: Forgive me, father, but from the day I was turned, I was sure I had done everything expected of me.
Mr. Morley: Turned against your will, Caleb. But I had no choice. You were the last of the Morleys, my only surviving son. We have a people to lead and protect. It is our duty.
Caleb: I've tried to be worthy.
Mr. Morley: You have been. You are. You've worn the mantle of our family honor and responsibilities well, and I'm proud you.
Caleb: Thank you, father.
Mr. Morley: You defeated the worst of our enemies.
Caleb: With your leadership.
Mr. Morley: And your commitment.
Caleb: I have pledged myself to return the family name to its former stature.
Mr. Morley: And you've more than succeeded. Your life is the life of our line, Caleb, and you've become a prime target because you remain unprotected. That cannot continue. It must be corrected immediately.
Caleb: Father, I will not take that from you. You are putting your own life at risk, and I won't do that. You've been the leader of our people for generations.
Mr. Morley: Do not let your worry about me keep you from your destiny.
Caleb: You are the word and I am your humble servant.
Mr. Morley: You are my son and my heir and the hope of us all. And now, I, Roderick Morley, do willingly transfer the most treasured power in our world to my only son.
Caleb: Father --
Roderick: Silence. The blood of our ancestors, the blood from each wielder of the ring rests in these goblets. I added mine. In turn, you'll add yours. But, first, drink, my son, to the Morleys.
Caleb: To my lineage.
Roderick: And your true destiny. Now extend your hand to me. wield its power with wisdom.
Roderick: Now it is done. The ring and all its power is yours.
Caleb: And I vow from this moment on to safeguard our heritage, this ring, with my life. and I pledge to make you proud, father, and worthy of your trust.
Roderick: You've always made me proud. You always will.
Livvie: Caleb? Hey. What is it? Are you all right?
Caleb: I'm fine. I was just thinking.
Livvie: Well, that's good?
Caleb: You all right?
Livvie: Yeah, I'm just -- I'm lonely. I woke up, and you weren't there.
Caleb: I'm right here. Go back and get some sleep, ok?
Livvie: Why don't you come back to bed with me? I always sleep better when you're there.
Caleb: I'll be right in. You go ahead.
Livvie: You promise?
Caleb: I promise. what?
Livvie: I love you.
Caleb: I love you, too.
Caleb: More than you'll ever know. More than you could ever imagine. There is something I want you to do. I want you to wear this very close to your heart.
Livvie: Your ring.
Caleb: It'll keep you safe. What happened to the ring?
Livvie: It's gone. I'm sorry, Caleb, but our protection against Joshua is gone.
Caleb: Forgive me, father. You trusted me, and I failed you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Lucy: Come on. You got to tell me. Did the transfusion work?
Ian: I'm glad you're back.
Lucy: I didn't know I went anywhere.
Lucy: What about Rafe? Where's Rafe? Is he ok?
Ian: He's fine. Don't worry.
Lucy: I'm going to be fine, right? I mean, just like all the other transfusions -- I'll feel so much better. I mean, in a minute, I'm not going to feel so weak and tired, right? Any minute, it's going to kick in, huh?
Ian: Too soon to tell right now.
Lucy: Too -- too soon?
Lucy: I -- I understand.
Rafe: And Joshua doesn't suspect we're working together?
Jamal: No, I don't think so. But, hey, are you sure you're up for it, considering everything you just went through here?
Rafe: Yeah, yeah, I'm fine.
Rafe: Listen, thanks. I owe you one, all right?
Jamal: Don't worry about it. Just get Alison out of there and safe. That's all I care about right now.
Rafe: Yeah. Me, too.
Jamal: All right.
[Ticking and chimes]
Alison: Why do you keep asking me about the time? What does that mean? And what is all this noise? What are you doing?
Joshua: Doing what? What noise?
Alison: Don't do that. The noise, the chimes, the bells -- all of it!
Joshua: I can't hear anything, Alison, honestly.
Alison: You're lying to me.
Joshua: Why would I lie to you?
Alison: How can you not hear all this?
Joshua: You got --
Alison: It's so loud!
Joshua: You got frightened. You got frightened in the dark. A little fuse blown, you're in the dark in this big old room -- it just started your heart racing. When you can't see anything and you can't see anybody, you got frightened.
Alison: Are you telling me that I'm hearing things? Are you?
Joshua: No. I'm just saying you're afraid of the dark, in here all alone, and your big old open heart started racing.
Alison: Are you making fun of me? Are you?
Joshua: No, I'd never do that. I promise you. Here. Take this.
[Ticking and chimes]
Joshua: With a light in the palm of your hand, you'll feel better. You'll feel more in control. I'd do anything to make you comfortable.
Alison: Joshua, I just want the lights to go back on.
Joshua: Would you like me to stay, precious?
Alison: Yes. Yes, I want you to stay.
Joshua: Of course. I'd never let anything happen to you. You know that.
Joshua: Ha -- there. You see? All better now.
Alison: Yes, it stopped.
Joshua: What time is it, Alison?
Joshua: You heard me. What is the time now, Alison?
Alison: It's time now.
Joshua: It's time for us, Alison. It's time for us, Alison. Right now.
Caleb: Sweet dreams, Olivia. Sweet dreams.
Caleb: But awake, there's been too many promises broken. No more. It ends now.
Lucy: I can do this. I know I can do this. I can do this. I can't do this.
Ian: All right. What are you doing? I'm out of here for five minutes, and I come back, and you're doing this? I mean, I'll have to fire you as a patient.
Lucy: Well, then, I'll just have to fire you as a doctor.
Ian: Why do that when you can just sue me? Sue me for everything I have, if you like.
Lucy: I'm not sure that'll be quite enough.
Ian: Chris and I are -- we're working --
Lucy: Don't. Shh. Please don't do that. Don't. We both know it -- it's not going to be enough. So please don't make this any harder than it is or harder than it has to be. I can feel what's happening. I can -- I can feel inside.
Ian: You can feel? What are you feeling?
Lucy: What's going on, what's happening to me, and what's going to happen. I know.
Ian: Well, then, tell me, because I'm listening, and maybe I can come up with something. Just tell me what you need.
Lucy: I want to go home and be in my own bed and be with my two girls and be with -- with you, the people I love the most. I belong there. so would you please take me home?
Ian: Let's go home.
Joshua: Wait, precious, wait.
Alison: Why? You said it was time for us. Then it's time now, right now.
Joshua: It is time -- no, it is time now.
Alison: Then we shouldn't wait.
Joshua: No, we have to wait just a few minutes. We have to wait.
Alison: Why? Where are you going?
Joshua: Don't worry. I'll never be out of your sight again. Wait.
Joshua: Never. I want everything to be perfect for you tonight. You should never have anything less than perfection. I want to prepare this just the way it should be. I want you always to be taken care of and you always to be safe. There. I'm going to take care of you, Alison. I'm going to treasure you and I'm going to pleasure you, so there'll never be anybody else. Only me. There, just as it should be. Perfection. Oh, no. Wait. One last thing. There. There. I hope everything -- everything is to the bride's liking.
Caleb: Apparently not.
Caleb: Otherwise, she would have stayed.
Rafe: It's ok. I got you, all right?
Rafe: It's all going to be ok. All right?
Rafe: Ok, I'm right here. I'm right here, and I promise he's never going to hurt you, all right? That's a promise.
Alison: No, never. Never, ever.
Rafe: All right, everything's going to be ok.
Alison: Rafe --

Karen: You can get through this. I'm going to be right here to make sure you do.
Caleb: Only one thing that'll make you feel worthy -- knowing that you've won someone's love -- something that you haven't been able to do so far.
Alison: You didn't come back for me because you don't love me anymore, do you?
