Jamal: I'm going to kill them, Alison. I'm going to kill them. I'm going to kill them!

[Jamal screams]

Jamal: What are you looking at?

Casey: A crazy man on his way to a broken hand. Why are you taking it out on a tree?

Jamal: You should've just let me torch the Elixir. It's all gone to hell, anyway. What's the difference if I flame it?

Casey: You know, if you had, Rrank would have killed you, turned you into a vampire just like he is.

Jamal: So what? I don't even care.

Casey: So you know what? Charging head-first into the dragon's head is not going to bring Alison back, Jamal.

Jamal: Nothing's going to bring Alison back, Casey. I can't find her grandmother. I can't find her mother. I can't find anybody. God, am I the only one who cares?

Caleb: I know you're lying.

Rafe: No, I'm not. Joshua did not create an antidote for Livvie.

Caleb: He wouldn't create a poison without having a way to reverse it. I know him. I trained him.

Rafe: Ok, fine. then you go talk to him yourself, ok? But I'm telling you, it's a dead end.

Alison: But why would Joshua take a chance like that?

Rafe: I don't know. Maybe he feels safe because he has Caleb's ring. We all know he likes to watch people suffer. You know, you and Livvie are going to have to find another way to live happily ever after than to just start chomping on each other.

Caleb: You know we can't do that. Not if we stay how we are.

Livvie: We can't?

Kevin: Get out of my house.

Elizabeth: You think you had a daughter to defend? Well, I have a daughter to avenge!

Kevin: Ah!

Kevin: Oh. oh. Uh -- I think I'm going to need some help.

Lucy: Ooh, this is so ridiculous. I am perfectly capable of walking out of this place --

Colleen: No, sorry. Lucy, it's hospital policy.

Lucy: I know hospital policy. I am hospital policymaker. I'm on the board, you know. Let me --

Colleen: Yes, I know, which is why you need to set a good example.

Lucy: Oh, you are being so patronizing. She's really -- she's patronizing me.

Ian: Yeah, I know, and I love it. The blood transfusions are working. You look much better already.

Lucy: Well, I feel much -- better. Are you ok? Are you hungry?

Colleen: Listen, why don't we get all of this done, and then you guys can get home in time for supper. Ok? I need you to fill out these forms --

Lucy: No, no, no. I hate forms. I hate -- I'm not doing it. No, no --

Colleen: Fill them out. I'll get you another appointment.

Ian: Stop yelling at her.

Lucy: I don't -- colleen --

[Phone rings]

Ian: Excuse me. Hello.

Elizabeth: Oh, thank God.

Ian: What's going on?

Elizabeth: Um -- I -- uh -- Kevin's been stabbed.

Ian: Where?

Elizabeth: In his living room.

Ian: Where on his body?

Elizabeth: By his shoulder.

Ian: Ok, is he conscious?

Elizabeth: Yeah, yeah. I don't think it's that bad. He's just -- there's just a lot of blood.

Ian: Did you call 911?

Elizabeth: Well, it was sort of an accident, so I -- I didn't want to. I just called you.

Ian: Ok, stay right there. I'm coming over. That's what we needed. Hey, listen, I -- I got to go check on something.

Lucy: You got to what?

Ian: Yeah, I'll be right back.

Lucy: I'm not -- what? What?

Ian: Make sure she's ok.

Colleen: Oh, sure.

Lucy: I'm not doing it. I'm not -- no --

Kevin: Oh.

Elizabeth: Oh.

Kevin: Oh, boy.

Elizabeth: Oh --

Kevin: We're going to have to stop this bleeding. Ah -- oh. Elizabeth, why did you stab me?

Elizabeth: I didn't mean to. I -- I was just so upset about Alison. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. No. No, no, no -- no. Kevin?

[Captioning made possible by ABC, Inc.]

Elizabeth: Kevin, come on. Come on, please. You've got to wake up. Come on. Don't die on me. I've already been investigated for one death. Come on, come on. Here we go. Come on. You're going to wake up, all right?

[Doorbell rings]

Elizabeth: Ok. Ok. Oh, Ian --

Ian: Where is he?

Elizabeth: He's right here. He was fine. He was totally fine, and then he just -- I don't know --

Ian: Kevin? Can you hear me? Kevin? Wake up. Come on.

Kevin: Oh, good. my favorite vampire doctor. Down, boy. Gave at the office.

Ian: In case you're wondering, you're going to make it.

Kevin: Sorry to disappoint you.

Elizabeth: Oh. I was just -- I was just so upset after what he did to -- after what his daughter did to Alison, I -- they're all nuts, you know? I mean, the whole family. Everybody knows it.

Ian: Help me get him ready.

Kevin: Where are we going?

Ian: General hospital. I'm going to have you checked out.

Kevin: Uh, my jacket -- somebody -- somebody grab my jacket.

Elizabeth: Well, now -- now that he's in good hands --

Ian: Hey, where you going?

[Siren approaches]

Ian: What? No, no. The ambulance is coming. You're going to come with me.

Elizabeth: Look -- but -- if you insist.

Livvie: Are you saying we can never be happy?

Caleb: That's not what I meant. I love you, and that's the basis of everything we are. Do you remember when this was reversed, when you were mortal and I wasn't? Things were never easy for us.

Alison: Caleb, being in love is never really easy.

Caleb: Made all the more complicated by Rafe holding back on us.

Rafe: Believe whatever you want.

Alison: That's not fair. He has done every single thing that you've asked. Why would he lie to you now?

Livvie: Because he hates us.

Alison: No. that's not true. You would not do that. You would not lie to them in a situation like this, as serious as it is, with a pact that has been made between the four of us. tell them.

Rafe: There's no antidote.

Livvie: You know what? As much as I don't like him and I don't trust him, I don't think he would lie to Alison. So what do we do now?

Caleb: Just take it one day at a time, sweetheart. We'll make it. We will make it. how you holding up?

Livvie: I'm ok.

Caleb: You didn't get what you needed.

Livvie: No, I did, but not much. It's -- it's a whole other story.

Caleb: Hey -- you're the only one that can help her. You're the only one that can get her what she needs.

Alison: No. Why does he have to go?

Rafe: Listen. You know what? If Joshua is going to buy that you're really dead, I have to go play the grieving fiance, ok? can you wait a few hours?

Livvie: That long?

Rafe: I'll try to hurry, ok? and you -- you make sure Alison's safe, ok? You understand that?

Caleb: Yeah. now's not the best time for lectures.

Alison: Look, please -- look at me. you've got to be really careful, ok? And don't take as long as you did last time, ok?

Rafe: I won't. I'll hurry.

Alison: Ok.

Rafe: Sorry about your grandmother.

Caleb: Hey -- if I find out that you're holding out on me, if there is an antidote and you lied about it -- don't underestimate me, Rafe. I may not have my powers, but my instincts are still good and I have a long memory.

Rafe: I thought we were done with threats.

Caleb: We're not. If Olivia suffers because you lied, it'll be payback time.

Casey: Look, I know it feels like no one cares, but Alison has -- had a lot of friends.

Jamal: Then how come nobody protected her? I should've known about Livvie. I should've done something. I should've just known something.

Casey: Ok, look, everything happens for a reason, all right? One day soon, you're going to figure out that there was a reason for all of this. Trust.

Jamal: Look at you, spouting cliches like it's going to fix something. I can't just let it go and accept this. Alison was something real to me.

Casey: Look, I know she --

Jamal: No, you don't know! Stop saying -- you don't know! You don't know anything. Alison is dead. Jack's a complete stranger. That idiot Ricky's -- he's an idiot. Then there's The Recovery Room. Look -- I used to live in there, that used to be my home, and now it looks like some bogeyman's nightmare. everything has gone to complete hell, and the only person I have to unload on isn't even real.

Casey: No, I'm real.

Jamal: You know what I'm saying, Casey. I don't know why I'm here, how I got here or anything. I can't even tell my best friend because she's dead.

Casey: Alison's not dead. She's still here.

Jamal: What did you say?

Karen: Well, it is good to see you're feeling so much better. one less thing to worry about.

Lucy: Oh. Thanks. I'm fine. It's just a lot of very bad things have been happening to a lot of good people that I care a lot about, you know? Ian should be back. He was going to take me home. I -- maybe I should call him because --

Karen: Don't bother.

Lucy: What in the world --

Colleen: Dr. Collins, are you all right?

Kevin: Relative to what? Bad news, Lucy. It looks like I'm going to make it.

Ian: The E.R. Sent him up here.

Karen: What's he in for?

Ian: Stab wound. knife, is it?

Elizabeth: Letter opener.

Lucy: Elizabeth, a letter -- oh. Oh, my God.

Kevin: Interesting. you almost looked stricken.

Ian: He'll be fine, but he needs your tender care.

Colleen: Ok. We've got 613 open.

Karen: Ok. Let's go.

Ian: Hey --

Lucy: What?

Ian: What are you doing?

Lucy: I'm doing --

Ian: I don't want you standing around.

Lucy: I'm fine. I am fine. What is going on with all of that?

Ian: I'm not sure, but I'm looking at all the players and I think anything could happen.

Karen: lost consciousness?

Kevin: So they tell me.

Karen: Hit your head?

Kevin: No, I was too busy trying not to bleed.

Karen: Lungs sound clear.

Kevin: Yeah, she missed. I mean, this hurts like hell, but, you know, other than that - -- ah. great. Could you just put that over there? No -- uh-uh -- over there. Thank you.

Karen: Well, you're right. This is your lucky day. You could've been a lot worse.

Kevin: Yeah, luck's my middle name.

Lucy: I would've appreciated just a call --

Ian: No, no --

Lucy: I am fine. No, you're treating me like I'm frail, and I'm not --

Ian: No, I'm treating you --

Lucy: Wait a minute. What are you doing? What do you think you're doing?

Ian: Lucy, please --

Lucy: What on earth were you thinking, doing what you did?

Elizabeth: I wasn't thinking, ok? I was emotionally destroyed. I still am.

Lucy: "Emotionally destroyed"? I'm sorry, Elizabeth. I don't really think that's an excuse.

Elizabeth: My daughter's dead.

Ian: Wait -- what?

Lucy: What?

Elizabeth: Alison. Alison's dead. Livvie killed her. And Kevin's acting like it isn't anything at all.

Lucy: Well, it's not. I mean, I don't believe that. I would know if she was dead. Alison's not dead. I -- I don't -- I don't believe that. I still don't believe it. She's not -- give me that. It isn't true. She's not -- she's not dead. This can't be real. This is -- this is --

Ian: Sit down, sit down.

Lucy: I'm fine. It's not true, that's all. It's not real. It's simply not real.

Livvie: That's not right, what Joshua did to your grandmother.

Alison: Yeah, thanks. You know, for what it's worth, I'm sorry that you and Caleb can't be together the way that you would've hoped. It's kind of weird, you and I sitting here feeling sorry for each other.

Livvie: Yeah. It's very weird. I was supposed to give Caleb his power back. It might be the most important thing I've ever had to do. And now I can't.

Alison: Well, maybe he can, you know, get used to not exactly being normal, but at least not being a vampire.

Livvie: Really? Guess what, Alison. I am a vampire.

Alison: Yeah, and I'm -- I'm sorry. That's probably very insensitive and -- and obvious. I shouldn't have said that. Hey, Caleb -- do you need something to keep you busy? Why don't you go ahead and write another lyric to another song or something?

Caleb: Yeah.

Livvie: You were writing lyrics here?

Caleb: I kind of had to stand up to this challenge.

Alison: Actually, I made him.

Livvie: Really? you wrote a song for Alison?

Jamal: What do you mean, she isn't dead?

Casey: Ok, ok --

Jamal: Casey, tell me -- what do you mean, she isn't dead?

Casey: Hey, don't get in my face like that. Jamal --

Jamal: You said Alison wasn't dead. What do you mean?

Casey: Ok, what -- oh, man. All right, what I'm saying is --

[Thunder]

Casey: Ok. Point made.

Jamal: Look, Casey, you better spill it right now.

Casey: Ok -- what I'm saying, Jamal, is that no one ever really dies. Ok, people may be gone, but they live on inside of us.

Jamal: More cliches. You're a real piece of work.

Casey: Ok. Tell me what you want me -- how can I help you? What do you want me to do?

Jamal: Nothing. just get lost.

Casey: No. I'm not going to go anywhere.

Jamal: Casey, you don't get to decide this, ok? Just get lost.

Casey: No, you're wrong about me, ok? I'm real. I'm real, so how can I help you? You're hurting. You're hurting, ok? I know it hurts, it hurts. It's ok, it's ok, it's ok. it's ok. it's ok. it's ok. it's ok.

Jamal: It's too hard.

Casey: I know. I know.

Caleb: I never wrote a song for Alison.

Livvie: But you just said --

Alison: Well, I sort of forced him to do it, kind of.

Caleb: She called me a fake. I couldn't let her get away with that.

Alison: I thought that he really was a fake, but he rose to the challenge, and he's actually very talented. I was surprised --

Livvie: Oh, gee, thank you for sharing that with me.

Caleb: Hey. You know, I keep all my best stuff for you.

Livvie: Is that so?

Caleb: Yeah, that's so.

Livvie: I miss you so much. it's driving me out of my mind.

Caleb: I know. Me, too.

Livvie: I want you. I want you to make love to me now.

Caleb: There's nothing I want more.

Karen: I'll check in on Dr. Collins. then I'll finish my rounds.

Karen: Kevin, how are you feeling?

Kevin: Sore.

Karen: Well, for a man who's just been stabbed, you're pretty mellow.

Kevin: There's not a lot I can do about it, is there?

Karen: As long as you're comfortable. You know what? Let me hang this up for you.

Kevin: Oh, no. No, that's ok.

Karen: It's really not a problem.

Kevin: No. I said no. it's really none of your business.

Karen: Kevin --

Kevin: Will you just drop it?

Lucy: I -- I don't believe -- that cannot be real. I don't believe it.

Ian: I agree. Something doesn't add up here.

Lucy: You feel something, too? You know what? I'm out of whack here. What do you sense? Do you sense something?

Ian: If Alison were dead, we'd know about it.

Lucy: You would think , but we've been stuck in this hospital -- I have, at least --

Ian: Rafe would come and find us.

Rafe: You looking for me?

Lucy: Rafe -- Alison is not dead, right?

Rafe: You saw the photograph, huh?

Ian: What happened?

Rafe: Well, you know how irrational Livvie can be. She's always blaming Alison for everything that goes wrong in her life. So she decided, you know, to bite her -- Alison didn't stand a chance.

Ian: Where is she?

Rafe: Where's who?

Ian: Take your pick. Livvie? Alison? I'm listening to you, and I don't agree with it. You're lying to us, man.

Rafe: I don't know what you want me to say.

Ian: I want you to tell us the truth. Are we in trouble here?

Lucy: Rafe -- Rafe -- Alison is not really dead, is she?

Rafe: Ian's right. We all are in trouble.

Stay tuned for scenes from the next "Port Charles: Desire."

On the next "Port Charles" --

Karen: You didn't think I would let you leave here with this, did you?

Alison: I've really had about enough of this.

Livvie: Well, I think you should stay out of it.

Alison: Hey, don't go blaming me just because he won't sleep with you.

Joshua: We haven't laid eyes on Caleb --

Frank: Or Rafe.

Joshua: I smell a rat.
