Jack: All right, Tess, I need to hook up with Jamal before we head over to Alison's. Hey, will you be ok?

Tess: Her big day. I'm just so happy for her.

Jack: Yeah, wait till you see a Barrington wedding. It's probably going to be huge. It'll be pretty awesome.

Jack: So what was that for?

Tess: Thank you for not being afraid to love me.

Jack: Yeah. Well, you really didn't give me much of a choice, did you? So where's Livvie, anyway?

Tess: Don't know. She's been gone all morning.

Jack: Yeah, well, I'm sure she'll turn up. She always does. But I will see you at the church.

Tess: Bye.

Jack: Bye. Wish me luck being a bridesman.

Tess: Livvie, come home.

Livvie: Hello, Stephen.

Stephen: Well, well, you are persistent, aren't you?

Livvie: You were at my house the other night, weren't you, watching me and Ricky have a really good time?

Stephen: I couldn't care less what you do.

Livvie: Oh, I think you care.

Stephen: Look, find a hobby, get a pet. Just leave me alone.

Livvie: Tess and I remember, Caleb.

Stephen: Remember what?

Livvie: Everything. All about Tess, where she came from, and how you made her from me.

Lucy: I am so glad Ididn't leave this to the florist. Otherwise, it would've not been quite as beautiful without my perfect little touch. Ooh, that is perfect, thanks to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Hi.

Ian: Hi.

Lucy: You're so early. I mean, the wedding doesn't start for quite a while.

Ian: I know when the wedding starts. Rafe asked me to set up with him.

Lucy: Me, too. He didn't say anything about you to me, about you being with me --

Ian: Well, he probably has a lot on his mind, don't you think?

Lucy: Yeah, I guess he does.

Ian: Yeah. Ok.

Lucy: Wait, don't -- no, don't do that, ok? I hate the way it is between us right now. I have so many things I want to tell you, starting with I should have never slapped you like that at the hospital.

Ian: You were sticking up for your husband and you made your point.

Lucy: But my husband has done some things I want to talk to you about.

Ian: Save it.

Lucy: No -- I am trying to say I'm sorry here.

Ian: Let's not do this anymore, ok?

[Music plays]

Alison: Dum-dee-dee dum-dum, dee-dee I am getting married, oh! I'll take the white bouquet because it's not supposed to stay and then I'll throw it --

Rafe: Over here, over here! Throw it over here!

Alison: Oh, my God, Rafe. Oh, my God. What are you doing?

Rafe: Apparently, I'm watching you act like a total nut.

[Music stops]

Alison: Don't you know that it's bad luck for the groom and the bride to see each other before the wedding?

Rafe: No. Nothing could be bad luck about seeing you.

Alison: Ah! Are you sure? Never?

Rafe: Yeah. So you're pretty excited, huh?

Alison: You have no idea. Hmm.

[Door opens]

Elizabeth: What are you guys doing?

Alison: Mother.

Elizabeth: You trying to ruin everything?

Alison: I didn't even hear you come in.

Elizabeth: Don't I get a hug, too?

[Alison squeals]

Elizabeth: Yeah, it's the big day! Oh, sweetie.

Rafe's voice: And let's not forget about her mother, Elizabeth -- you know, the woman you bit? You took your fangs and you sunk them into her neck. You turned her.

Rafe:Elizabeth, get off her!

Alison: Rafe.

Elizabeth: What? What'd I do?

Rafe: I want you out of here now.

[Captioning made possible by abc, inc.]

Stephen: You think I made Tess, literally created her?

Livvie: Don't bother denying it.

Stephen: Yeah, that's exactly what Ineed in my life, Livvie -- two of you.

Livvie: Well, there are two of us. We tried putting all the pieces together, figuring it out. So we worked on it together, we remembered together. We still don't know how, but we do know that you pulled Tess out of me. You loved me so much that you wanted two of me, so you made her.

Stephen: Oh, you don't have much of an ego problem, do you?

Livvie: I'm not going to bother chasing you around anymore. I'm just going to wait for you instead. And when you can't fight the hunger, you'll know how to find me.

Livvie: Bye-bye, Caleb.

Joshua: This has got to stop.

Stephen: Don't do that.

Joshua: Look at you. She makes you careless, and you know it. How much more proof do you need that she's a danger to us? Please let me get rid of her.

Stephen: I said no. Nothing's changed.

Joshua: That woman will be the death of you, and not for the first time.

Stephen: I said I would handle Olivia, and I will. Understand?

Joshua: You won't have to.

[Ian sighs]

Lucy: I am desperately trying to apologize to you here, and if you won't even allow that, then I'm going to be very hurt --

Ian: Stop.

Lucy: No, I want --

Ian: Stop.

Lucy: I need to apol--

Ian: Stop!

[Lucy sighs]

Ian: One of us has to have the courage to say enough, and if it has to be me, so be it.

Lucy: "Enough"? Hey, we're friends. We're best friends, so can't we find a way to at least be together that --

Ian: No, we can't. You want to be with Kevin, and that's fine, and if I had any respect for the man, I could deal with it. But I don't and I can't, and that's it.

Lucy: Please, though, at least let's talk --

Ian: I told you how I feel about you. I can't tell you how to live your life. And I can't rescue someone that doesn't want to be saved, so just be with Kevin, all right?

Lucy: It's just he is my husband.

Ian: I know who he is. So be with him and be happy.

Lucy: It's that simple? So, hey, we were friends for a while, and now good-bye, adios, so long? Is that ?

Ian: Yeah, that's it.

Lucy: So after everything we've been through together, that's it, that's it, that's it? Fine.

Kevin: Lucy?

[Lucy gasps]

Kevin: Hi. Saw you with Ian. Everything all right?

Lucy: Yeah, yeah. I was just trying to apologize. I think I was really hard on him the other day.

Kevin: And?

Lucy: He didn't accept. I need to go. I got to go check on Rafe.

Kevin: Listen, maybe what happened with Ian is for the best.

Lucy: Oh, how can it ever be good to lose a friend?

Kevin: And how about a schlub who won't go away?

Alison: Rafe, today of all days I want my mother here.

Elizabeth: I didn't mean to --

Rafe: No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have snapped like that. I just want to be alone with Alison.

Alison: Rafe should actually be going soon, so --

Elizabeth: No, no, it's ok, Alison. It's probably better if he stays.

Alison: No, mother, I want you to stay with me.

[Knock on door]

Jack and Jamal: Hear ye, hear ye! The bridesmaids are here!

Alison: Already?

Jamal: At your service.

Alison: What time is it?

Jack: What's going on here? The bride's not supposed to see the groom.

Elizabeth: Hey, Jack, Jamal, I could really use your help with something outside, please.

Jack: Well --

Elizabeth: Both of you.

Jamal: Well, yes, ma'am. Yeah, mama.

Elizabeth: Thank you.

Alison: Now, do you want to tell me what's really going on?

Rafe: Nothing. Nothing. I guess -- I guess I'm a little nervous. I don't want to be, and I don't think I really am, but I --

Alison: Rafe, seriously, what's wrong? Is there something wrong?

Rafe: Hey, hey, what could go wrong today, huh? You know what? Don't answer that.

Alison: Yeah.

Rafe: Just close your eyes and trust me. Please?

Alison: Ok. I'm afraid.

Rafe: Be afraid. Be very afraid. You can open them now.

Alison: Oh, that is -- this is beautiful.

Rafe: Yeah, it's actually -- well, it's sort of an antique. I mean, it belonged to my mother. And I guess I just wanted you to have something of hers today.

Alison: Oh, this means so much to me. You have no idea. I love it. I love it. Will you help me put it on?

Rafe: Yeah, yeah. I guess I am nervous.

Alison: Be careful. Don't break it. Oh, my God, Rafe. It is so beautiful. I love it, and I love you.

Rafe: Guess I'd better go. Want to get to the church on time.

Alison: You -- you'd better go.

Rafe: So we have a date later.

Alison: Yeah, we do.

Rafe: I'll see you at the altar, beautiful!

Alison: And for the rest of my life.

Tess: Livvie, what happened? You should be here by now. You're gone so long.

Livvie's voice: Go ahead, open it.

Tess's voice: Ok.

Livvie's voice: I have one just like it. I didn't know what to get you, and I figured if I liked it, then you would probably like it.

Tess: It's beautiful. Thank you. Sisters. Now we have each other and my new favorite sweater. Livvie, where are you?

Livvie: Hang on, Tess, I'll get there. Hello? God, that's weird. It's almost -- Josh--

Joshua: Fancy meeting you here.

Elizabeth: Are you almost ready, sweetie? I have Jack and Jamal putting your things in the car.

Alison: Yeah, almost. I think I have everything. I just wanted to apologize to you about, you know, Rafe earlier. I'm sorry.

Elizabeth: Oh, no, no, sweetheart, it's ok. Someday, he and I will learn to deal with each other. I'm just -- I'm just sorry that we haven't quite reached that point for your special day.

Alison: No.

Elizabeth: I want today to be so perfect for you.

Alison: It is. It is perfect.

Jamal: Anything else for the bridesmen?

Jack: Hey, hey, the brides--

Jamal: Sorry about that. We'll come back.

Elizabeth: No, no, no, it's ok, it's ok. I'm going to go on ahead to the church, all right?

Alison: Ok.

Elizabeth: Oh, I'll see you there, baby.

Alison: Ok.

Elizabeth: Ok.

Alison: Ok.

Elizabeth: And you guys get her to the church safe and sound, you hear me?

Jack: Yes, ma'am.

Elizabeth: It's a big responsibility.

Jamal: Yes, ma'am.

Jack: Will do. Speaking of that, I've never been a bridesman before, so, Ms. Barrington, Ms.--

Jamal: So what do we do, shoot some hoops, order you pizza, golf? I don't know.

Jack: Basketball, box?

Alison: Yeah. No, most of the time, bridesmaids actually help the bride get ready. So --

Jamal and Jack: Oh.

Jack: Sure. Yeah, yeah, we can do that.

Jamal: No problem.

Alison: Yeah, but since we're going to be bypassing that tradition this year --

Jack: Oh, no, no, no, no.

Alison: On this occasion --

Jack: We're going to do this 100%.

Jamal: Yeah, yeah, 100%.

Jack: Yeah, yeah.

Jamal: Seriously.

Alison: No.

Jamal: Seriously, no, we can do this.

Alison: What do you think you're going to do with that?

Jack: Well, I might do your hair with this.

Jamal: What is that?

Jack: I don't know, but --

Jamal: Hey, look, I got this lipstick, so --

Jack: Oh, I've got the best new hairstyle.

Alison: No. No.

Jamal: Oh, yeah, come on.

Alison: No, I'm serious!

Jack: You get the lipstick on --

Alison: You guys, don't! You're going to get me dirty!

Jack: Will you come over here, young lady? I am going to fix your hair!

Alison: Don't!

Jamal: Hold her, hold her, hold her. Ah!

Alison: Jamal, stop it! Don't! You guys! You're going to get me dirty.

Jack: Hey, we're just trying to be good bridesmen, that's all. Just good bridesmen.

Alison: I love hanging out with you guys.

Jack: Yeah, well, are you still going to hang out with us when you're a married old lady?

Jamal: "Old"?

Alison: You can make me over anytime you want.

Jamal: This is it. Sure this is what you want to do?

Alison: I am absolutely positive.

Jamal: Well, all righty.

Jack: Are you ready?

Alison: Yeah.

Jack: Let's go to the chapel. Come on.

Rafe: This is great. This is beautiful. It's the biggest day of my life, I don't even know how to do my own tie.

Lucy: Hey, hey. Hey, look at you.

Rafe: Lucy, I'm --

Lucy: Yeah, yeah. Hi. Yeah, you really do need a woman in your life, don't you? What are you doing here? You're going to strangle yourself the way you were starting to do this.

Rafe: Yeah, better than Caleb.

Lucy: Well, that's not funny. Would you hold still and let me --

Rafe: No, I'm serious. We were right, Stephen's Caleb.

Lucy: Ok, I knew that.

Rafe: No, no, no, I saw him, I mean, the real Caleb, fangs and all. I did.

Lucy: Whoa, whoa, whoa, you saw Cal-- he actually revealed his fangs to you and you didn't just slay him?

Rafe: Hey, easy. I tried, ok? I staked him right in the heart. He pulled it out like it was a splinter.

Lucy: What? How -- how could he possibly do that?

Rafe: I don't know.

Lucy: And what the heck is that thing doing back here, anyway?

Rafe: Says he wants to live a normal life. I don't know, that's what he says. He said he doesn't want to hurt anybody. Of course, that didn't stop him from turning Alison's mother.

Lucy: So Elizabeth really is a vampire? Does Alison know yet?

Rafe: No, no, and she's not going to know -- not today, all right?

Lucy: No, no. Right, not today. But what about tomorrow?

Rafe: Well, he says he's leaving town.

Lucy: Leaving -- what, and we're supposed to let him? We're supposed to just let him loose on the world to do whatever he wants?

Rafe: No! I don't know.

Lucy: Well, how did he even end up back here? How did he end up anywhere?

Rafe: Apparently, because of me. Had something to do with the balance of good and evil and all that. I mean, somehow because I was able to come back -- you know, balance the scales?

Lucy: Oh, my God.

Rafe: Well, ok, ok, but the good news is I'm starting to get more of my powers back, so we're going to get him, ok, before he knows what's happening.

Stephen: Knock, knock. Still trying to think of ways to get rid of little old me?

Livvie: Look, Joshua, if you're not going to tell me what --

Joshua: Not so fast.

Livvie: Take your hand off of me.

Joshua: I have a message for you from Stephen.

[Phone rings]

Livvie: That message will have to wait.

Joshua: I'll wait.

Livvie: Hi, it's Livvie.

Tess: Livvie, where are you?

Livvie: Tess. I'm in the park, but I'm -- I'm fine. Listen, I got to call you back, ok?

Tess: No, Livvie, wait.

Livvie: I got to go, Tess. Ok. So what's the emergency with Stephen's message?

Joshua: Well, against my better judgment, he wants you.

Livvie: He couldn't tell me himself?

Joshua: When he can humiliate me in the process? Oh, no. He's the boss. I just do what he says.

Livvie: And what exactly did the boss say?

Joshua: He wants you to meet him at the docks. Will you be there?

Livvie: Sure. I mean, tell him yes. Yes, I will be there. So much for staying away from me, Stephen.

Tess: No. No, Livvie, please, you can't. Livvie!

Livvie: Oh, my God, Tess. Hello?

Tess: You can't go, Livvie. Don't.

Livvie: Tess, you don't have to worry about me. I know exactly what I want. I'll be fine.

Tess: No, Livvie, stop.

Livvie: I got to go, Tess. Bye.

Tess: Livvie!

Livvie: Bye. Now I'm going to shut this phone off. Because I can't look after Tess if Stephen's waiting for me.

Kevin: Ian, a moment, please?

Ian: Not now, Kevin.

Kevin: Is that any way to treat an old friend?

Ian: What do you want?

Kevin: Well, it occurs to me, as nice as it was to get all warm and fuzzy on Christmas Eve, you still owe me an apology and I'm still waiting.

Ian: You're right. I apologize for accusing you of beating up the prostitute.

Kevin: Thank you.

Ian: The same way you'd beaten her up before.

Kevin: Now, doesn't that feel good? Not holding anything back, saying what we really feel, no pretending to get along?

Ian: Why not?

Kevin: Good, then I'll go. Why don't you stop sniffing around my wife like some mangy, lovesick dog.

Rafe: Believe me, as soon we figure out a way to get rid of you, you'll be the last to know.

Stephen: You're wasting your time.

Lucy: Hi, Caleb.

Stephen: Lucy, you look great. Did Rafe tell you the good news?

Rafe: Just leave. I don't want you anywhere near me or Alison or our wedding.

Stephen: But Elizabeth invited me.

Lucy: She what?

Stephen: We are dating -- you know, the bride's mother. It might seem a little strange if I wasn't here.

Lucy: Oh, Caleb Morley, you know what you are?

Rafe: Lucy, wait.

Lucy: You are the filth of the earth. You don't belong here. You don't belong in a church, you don't belong on the face of this earth, period!

Stephen: Well, the fans would think otherwise.

Lucy: Your fans? Do you know what you are? You sing for little childr--

Stephen: Oh. I'm sorry. But before anything else gets ruined, I am not here to fuss and argue about who did what to whom, all right? You couldn't stop it, anyway, so what do you say we just call this a truce? Enjoy the day knowing I'm leaving town right after the wedding.

Rafe: And what if we say no?

Stephen: Your call. Either way, I'll see you at the altar. Ciao. Oh, and do send me the bill for that, ok?

Lucy: Oh, I will, don't worry. Oh. He is so playing us.

Rafe: Yeah, like a drum. But you know what? I am not going to let anything ruin my wedding day. I'm marrying Alison today, and that's all that matters.

Alison: Ok. So, this is it. I think this is the best I can do. What do you think?

Elizabeth: Oh, sweetheart, you are perfect. You are absolutely perfect.

Jack: Yeah, it's pretty amazing.

Jamal: Beautiful.

Alison: Well, this is it. This is the day that I finally marry the man that I love.

>> "Port charles: Surrender" starts monday.

>> On the next "Port Charles" --

Stephen: This is ours for eternity.

Elizabeth: I don't want to be a vampire.

Joshua: I needed you to be here. It's secluded, you can't swim.

Alison: Oh, my God. I need to get to Rafe.
