Port Charles Transcript
jamal: Are you sure you heard something?
Ricky: Of course I'm sure. Like a cry or a scream maybe.
Jamal: Where, ricky? Where did you hear something? Over here? Over there? Where, back here?
Ricky: Look, I don't know, all right? Around here somewhere.
Jamal: Oh, great, somewhere, somewhere.
Marissa: No, wait a minute. What do you mean, somewhere? Ricky -- god, jamal and I didn't even hear anything, and this is a pretty big forest.
Ricky: Look, all I know is i heard something, all right? I'm not daniel boone.
Jamal: Whatever you heard -- ok, don't worry about it. We have to worry about finding jack. Finding jack, that's the only thing that counts right now, ok? Now, look, marissa, you hang here with daniel boone and check this area, and i'm going to go over here, all right?
Marissa: Oh, no, no, no, no. Why can't I go with you, jamal?
Jamal: Because I'm going to hike up to this rise and take a look around from up top. If jack is here, we're going to find him. Just chill out.
Marissa: Jamal -- oh -- and what do you think you're doing?
Ricky: What does it look like i'm doing? I'm sitting down. You know what? Come over here and chill out.
Marissa: Whatever. You know, we still have to keep looking, ricky.
Ricky: What do you think we've been doing all night?
Marissa: And that scream?
Ricky: Maybe it was a coyote or a rabbit.
Marissa: A screaming rabbit.
Ricky: Yeah, you know, maybe somebody stole the rabbit's carrot stash. Look -- I don't know -- look, just give me a couple of minutes, all right? I'll be right with you.
ricky: Better to look with a clear head.
marissa: You know what? I'm just going to find whatever made that noise. Jack? Jack? Jack, it's marissa. Anybody? You there? Hello? Jack? Jack, if you can hear me, I need you --
livvie: Come on, jack. Where are you? I won't let you leave me, not like everyone else.
Livvie: Not with everything we've still got together. God, come home to me, jack, please. Please come home to me.
Alison: I do have to admit that i did get a little freaked out when you said you wanted to come back here. But then i decided that your lips would taste just as sweet here as they would anywhere else. But I have to admit, that train ride was the most romantic trip i've ever had.
Alison: I felt like no one and nothing could touch us.
Rafe: I just -- I had this feeling, you know?
Alison: I know -- that we should get back, and you're probably right. I mean, this is where we met. This is where we fell in love. We probably should be back here. And soon, you'll see that i'll be able to face anything.
Rafe: Anything? Even --
alison: Yeah. Yeah, I think so. I mean, now that you and i are together forever.
Rafe: Just -- just don't --
alison: What? Don't what?
Rafe: I don't know. I guess I -- i just think the word "livvie" and --
alison: Oh, no. No, no, no, you don't have to. No, don'T. It's ok. You don't have to see her for a while. As a matter of fact, i just wanted to stop by and say hi to jack and --
Alison: Let him know that we're back and --
rafe: So you want to talk to him alone?
Alison: Yeah, I think maybe that would be a good idea.
Rafe: That's good. That's good.
Rafe: You tell him, and I'll go pay a visit to my cousin.
Alison: Oh, lucy's going to be so excited when she sees you -- she sees your face, and you tell her that you're back for good.
Rafe: I know. I can't wait to see her.
Alison: Yeah. Ok -- wait, wait, wait! Remember, you have my I.O.U.
Rafe: Yeah. I'm going to hold you to it, you know.
Alison: Good, I hope you do.
Rafe: Ok, so i'm leaving now.
Alison: Ok, go.
Alison: Ok, go. Hurry home. Oh, good, you're awake. Now, what? Jack? It's alison. Jack? I'm home. I'm back.

Rafe: Just my luck. Lucy's not home. I really, really needed to talk to her. I keep hearing that song from the train over and over again in my head. It's just giving me this really weird feeling, you know? And I don't want to talk to alison about it because, you know, it's stupid. It's probably nothing. And here i am again, on the footbridge once again, talking up to you, just like always. Yeah, well, what's it going to hurt, huh? Hey! Boss? So i got to tell you, I found alison, and it's great, and -- yeah, you probably know that already. It's all thanks to you, though. You know? You were so there for me. And now, i'm probably never going to see you again. At least, I hope not. I mean, not that i hope not ever, ever, just not for a very, very long time, you know? I'm going to miss you. But I'm not going to miss the way you were always telling me what to do.
Ed: Hey, hey, hey, hey. Hold on a minute, kid.
Ed: Now, is that a way to talk to your old man? Hmm?
Livvie: I thought you crawled out of town like the pathetic loser you are. Back so soon?
Alison: Guess again.
Livvie: And save you the breath?
Alison: Well, let's just say that someone made a very good case for me to come back to port charles.
Livvie: Aw. Poor ali. Must have been hard, huh? Bet the past few days without rafe has made you feel all alone. I mean, you must miss him like crazy. Yeah, huh, what? Did I say something funny?
Alison: You know, I don't really think that you would get the joke. But I can just imagine why you're here at jack'S.
Livvie: Oh, really?
Alison: I'm sure rafe would rather be dead than be with you. So you thought you'd come over to jack's, try and give him another shot? What do you think, like your -- your tired, old tricks will really work on him again?
Livvie: Yeah, why wouldn't it? I mean, jack and i are meant for each other.
Alison: Oh, in your dreams.
Livvie: Even so, you know, when -- when rafe died, I mean, I must -- I must admit, I was kind of just -- just a little bummed.
Alison: A little bummed?
Alison: And now?
Livvie: Well, now, i'm -- I'm completely over it.
Alison: You're over it?
Livvie: And you want to know why, ali? Because I finally realized i never really loved rafe at all, not the way I love jack.
Marissa: Ricky! Ricky, please help! Help me! Ricky!
Ricky: What'd you do? Oh, my god!
Marissa: Don't just stand there, help me out!
Ricky: All right. Are you ok?
Marissa: Ricky -- i'm fine! Pull me out!
Ricky: All right, all right. I'm trying! Just hold on.
Marissa: Hurry! Don't let me fall!
Ricky: Marissa, relax, all right? I've got you. Just let me get a good grip.
Marissa: Hurry up!
marissa: Ricky, i'm falling! I'm falling!
Ricky: Just hang on tight! Don't let go! Here we go. On three. Ready?
Marissa: Ok, ok.
Ricky: One, two, three!
Marissa: Oh! Oh, my god! Ricky.
Ricky: We made it.
Marissa: I'm so --
ricky: Are you ok?
Ricky: That's jamal.
Jamal: Marissa? What's up? I thought I heard you scream.
Marissa: No --
jamal: What are you doing? What's going on? What are you guys doing?
Ricky: She fell, and I --
marissa: There was a hole --
ricky: I was trying to help.
Marissa: A great, big giant pit. Ricky pulled me out, and if he didn't, I could have died! I could have fell in and died!
Jamal: Are you ok? Are you ok?
Marissa: No, I'm -- fine. I'm just a little shook up is all, i'm ok.
Jamal: You didn't break anything, right? Did you? Did you sprain anything? Are you sure? Your leg's ok? You all right?
Ricky: Whoa -- guys, guys, guys, come over here. Check this out.
Jamal: What's up, man?
Ricky: Get over here. Look at this.
Jamal: All right, all right, all right.
Ricky: Hurry up.
Jamal: What's up?
Ricky: Look at this.
Jamal: Wow, that -- lucky it didn't swallow her alive.
Marissa: Well, what do you guys think is down there?
Jamal: I don't know, but if you fell in, maybe jack fell in, too.
Ricky: What if he's trapped?
Jamal: Only one way to know for sure. Give me the flashlight, ricky. I'm going to --
ricky: Yeah, yeah.
Jamal: Take a good look down here.
Rafe: Ed, is -- is that really you? I didn't think i'd ever see you again. I mean, just not here. What --
ed: I guess your old man's earned a few favors over the years. Peaceful here.
Ed: How does it feel?
Rafe: How does what feel?
Ed: Life. Your free pass. No time limit.
Rafe: What, are you kidding me? To get to live a full lifetime out, you know, with the woman i love? It's amazing! It is the most incredible feeling I have ever felt!
Ed: Cherish every minute of it, son.
Rafe: Still telling me what to do, huh?
Ed: Well, you may not be an angel anymore, but I'll always be your old man.
Rafe: Yeah. Thank you.
Ed: For what? You're the one who went to hell and back the woman you love.
Rafe: Yeah, but if it hadn't been for me -- i mean, if we lost that deal to james, I, mean -- you risked everything. You risked your soul.
Ed: Nah. I knew i was betting on a winner. Besides, I'm so proud of you. I love you, son.
Rafe: I love you, too, dad.
Ed: Well -- I need to get back upstairs. Got to punch a clock, you know.
Rafe: Wait, wait, you -- wait, you can't go -- not yet, i mean -- i mean, what about the train and that weird song i heard and the way it made me feel?
Ed: What about it?
Rafe: Well, what does it mean? Is there something going on?
Ed: You tell me.
Rafe: But --
ed: Trust your instincts, son. Always. Trust your instincts.
Rafe: Ed, wait!
Marissa: Well, how deep is it, you guys?
Ricky: Can you make anything out?
Jamal: Just give me a second, all right? I can't really see, but -- oh, whoa, whoa, wait minute, wait a minute.
Ricky: You got something?
Jamal: I thought I did for a second, but -- god, it's too dark.
Marissa: Honey, exactly, which is why we should just come back here in the morning and we can see things --
jamal: No, we are not coming back in the morning unless i know for sure that jack's not down there.
Jamal: All right? Jack! Jack, you down there?
Ricky: Yeah, if you're down there, just hold on, man!
Jamal: Just hold on, ok? If you're hurt or something like that and you hear me, ju- just don't give up. Just don't give up, never, all right? Look, I'm going down there.
Marissa: Whoa! No. Down there?
Jamal: Yes, i'm going down. Ok, look --
marissa: Jamal --
jamal: You got a rope in your truck, right?
Ricky: Yeah, it's in there.
Jamal: Maybe we can, like, tie it to your bumper or something.
marissa: Wait, there -- that might be jack.
Jamal: No, it ain't jack. Jamal. What's up? Who's this?
Ricky: Hey, is it him? Is it him?
Jamal: No, no, it's not. Got it. Ok, cool, we'll be right there in a second. Cool. All right, bye. That was the police.
Ricky: The cops?
Jamal: They found -- yeah, they found jack's bike down at the river.
Marissa: Well, what about jack?
Jamal: No, nothing. They don't know where he is, but wherever it is, it's not here. Come on, let's go.
Ricky: Well, where to?
Jamal: To the recovery room. She's going to fill us in there.
Ricky: All right, we're right behind you. Let's go.
Alison: You love jack? After everything that you have put him through, do you honestly expect me or anyone else to believe that you ever even gave a damn about him?
Livvie: As if I care what you think, alison. Jack and i will work things out, you'll see. You will never understand how much he loves me, too.
Alison: How much he loves you? Listen to me. Do you honestly think that? I mean, do you really?
Livvie: Of course he loves me.
Alison: No, he doesn't, livvie. News flash -- he's over you! He's more than over you. You really arezy, aren't you?
Livvie: You better watch it, alison.
Alison: And if he loses his mind because he gets sucked into your black, slimy hole of a heart, I will be right there to bail him out because you will never hurt him again.
Livvie: You can't stop me.
Alison: Oh, no?
Livvie: You want to know why? Because no matter how hard you try or how angry jack might be at me, deep down inside, he has never stopped loving me. And you want to know what? If you hadn't gotten in between us in the first place and turned him against me --
alison: No --
livvie: We would still be together, that i know!
Alison: No, no, no! You lost jack because of you.
You lost him.
Livvie: No --
alison: Yes. Listen to me. You drove him away. You drove him away with your bitterness and your hatred and your anger and your lies --
livvie: No, stop it, alison! Stop it!
Alison: And plus, you have always driven everyone in your life away from you who's ever loved you. And you know what, livvie? You've gotten exactly what you deserved. You're alone. And you'll always be alone.
Livvie: Me? You think that i am alone, alison? Oh, no, you have got it wrong. I am the one who still has my baby. And I still have a chance to be -- to be with the man that i love. But you -- you have lost everything.
Alison: Is that really what you think?
Livvie: Rafe is dead, isn't he? I mean, you'll never get over your great love. You will grow old and gray and wasted, still pining over poor rafe. Every day for the rest of your life, you will reach out for a hand that isn't there and a kiss that never comes. You will wait and you will wait every day, and you will die waiting. Because you will never have rafe again, alison. Never.
Jamal: Let me gets straight. You didn't find anything else at the river except this bike?
Doree: That's all we've got. But the scuba team will start dragging the bottom at daybreak, so just in case --
Doree: In case -- i mean, I'm not saying that there's anything being assumed here or anything like that.
Marissa: Well, what about jack's helmet or his wallet?
Doree: Like i said, that's all we have right now.
Jamal: Ofc. Doree, jack is my best friend, ok? There's got to be something we can do, ok? Can we talk outside?
Marissa: Oh, man. Just like that, gone without a trace.
Ricky: You ok?
Marissa: Yeah. Hey, look, just in case I didn't mention it to you before, thank you for pulling me out of that death trap back there. And I apologize for going off on you.
Marissa: About casey. About you being in love with my sister.
Ricky: I hear you.
Marissa: You know, I'm going to go catch up with jamal. See you, ok?
Ricky: Yeah, I'll see you later. Hey, marissa -- she left her stuff and -- this. I'll give it back. Just maybe a little later.
Doree: I'll keep you posted if we find anything else.
Jamal: Ok. Thanks. Come on, jack, just be alive. That's all i'm asking is he be alive.
Marissa: Look, he's a smart guy, jamal, ok? Right? And they didn't find anything else. Ok, he's just probably down by the river camping, ok?
Jamal: Yeah, right.
Marissa: Do not think the worst, honey, ok?
Jamal: I know, I know, but it's hard.
Jamal: It's hard. Come on, let's get out of here.
Jack: God. Oh, my head. What is this?
Jack: What is this? She tied me up? Hey! Hey, you -- you! I -- i know that you see me over here. Why'd you tie me up? Hey! I know you tied me up. Now come over here and untie me! What do you want with me? Huh?
What do you want with me? Are you never going to let me go? Are you just going to keep me here tied up? When will you let me go? Ever? Never?
Jack: Whoa. What are you saying? What did you just say?
Jack: Oh, no.
Livvie: Rafe. It's you.
Rafe: What? What's the matter, livvie? You look like you've seen a ghost.
Livvie: Oh, no, this -- it couldn't be.
Rafe: Is that so?
Livvie: No, but I --
rafe: You shot me. Yeah, I remember. You killed me. Right? It's funny how things work out sometimes when the good guys win after all.
Livvie: This can't be happening.
Rafe: And now, I get to spend a lifetime with the woman that I really love. And you --
livvie: No, you -- you -- you did something! You used black magic or witch--
alison: No, I didn't.
Livvie: Craft. Or something.
Alison: This is true love, livvie. True love did this. It's something that you will never understand.
Livvie: No. No, stay away from me. Stay away from me. No!
Rafe: Livvie --
livvie: Let go of me!
Rafe: Not till you deal with me!
Livvie: Let go! Please, no! Please --
rafe: Livvie --
Rafe: By the way, I'm not an angel anymore.
>> Stay tuned for scenes from the next "port charles: Naked eyes."
>> On the next "port charles" --
alison: You never captured his heart because that always belonged to me.
Lucy: You have absolutely amazing hands.
Nurse: We are all done here. You have a good night, dr. Collins.
Kevin: Oh, I shall. Thank you.
