Port Charles Transcript Friday

kate: You're sure you don't mind?
Colleen: Oh, no, not a problem. I'll make sure she gets them on my rounds.
Kate: Oh, I really appreciate it, colleen. Thanks a lot. I'm in a rush.
Colleen: Be careful. They just waxed the floor.
kate: God. Ok, slow down, kate. Serves you right, rushing around like that. Stop acting like somebody's chasing me.
ian: What was that?
Ricky: You know where all the best nerve endings are, don't you?
Karen: I think these are good.
Ricky: Well, life is not so bad -- the two of us out here together in public where anyone can walk by and see us.
Jamal: You know what? I am out of her life, and it's staying that way, jack.
Jack: She told me to stop helping, so that's what I'm doing.
Jamal: Well, all she wants is rafe, anyway.
Jamal: Ricky, hey.
Ricky: Hey, guys. Jamal, you ok, man?
Jamal: Yeah. It's just kind of weird seeing you two here together, i guess.
Karen: So, why don't you join us and start getting used to it?
Ricky: Yeah. We've got plenty of munchies. Why don't you guys grab a seat, watch the fireworks --
jamal: We have a lot of work back at the shop, right, jack?
Jack: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, but thanks. We have a lot of work to do.
Victor: Oh, karen. Thank god. Jamal, jack.
Victor: Has anybody seen mary, any of you?
Karen: Why? What happened?
Victor: Well, she left nearly an hour ago to go get more hot dog buns, and she hasn't come back. I can't imagine what --
jamal: Hey, take it easy, victor --
victor: No, no, no. Something's wrong, i can feel it. It isn't like her.
Mary: Now, wait a minute. Now, wait. I'm warning you.
Man: Yeah, you're warning us.
Second man: And we're real scared. Come on, grandma. Give us the jewelry.
Mary: No, no. Here, you can have my purse.
Man: No, that ain't enough.
Second man: Give up the ring!
Mary: No! Oh, no. No, no, no. I told you -- you can have everything but my ring, not my ring.
Man: And we told you -- we're taking everything you've got and the wedding ring.
Second man: Come on. Save yourself some real pain.
Mary: You go to hell.
Man: You're getting there first, granny! Shut up, woman!
Mary: No, no. No, no, no!
Alison: You want me to tell you --
rafe: The whole story. Everything. I want to know how we met. I want to know --
alison: How we fell in love. I'll tell you. I'll tell you everything. And I promise I won't -- i won't leave out any details. And it really is, it's a beautiful story, rafe.
Rafe: All right.
Alison: It really is, ok? I promise you, our story is the most beautiful story you've ever heard. But just know that everything that i tell you -- you don't have to be afraid of any of it. Nothing of this story should scare you in the least bit.
Rafe: I'm not. It's just a little weird having someone tell me about my life.
Alison: Right, but i'm -- I'm not just someone.
Rafe: Ok. Well, then tell me everything. Don't leave out any details.
Alison: I won'T. I'll tell you how we first came together and the promises that we made to each other. I think that once you finally hear the truth, this will all start to make sense to you.
Livvie: No. I can't let it happen. I have to find a way to stop it. I have to.

alison: The time that we spent together was seriously the most precious time that I've ever had in my whole life, and you said that it was the same for you, too.
Rafe: Well, tell me. How did it -- how did we -- our --
alison: How did we fall in love? Well, we were -- we were just friends for a long time, actually, and then we just sort of -- I don't know. I mean, I was involved with somebody else.
Rafe: How involved?
Alison: Very involved. I wasn't looking to fall in love with you. We were just friends. But by chance or by fate, something kept putting us together in the same situation or the same place, and slowly but surely it kept getting harder to fight it. Until this one day, this one magical moment, you kissed me. And it was like -- it was like nothing I ever experienced before, and I didn't know what to do. I mean, I had always known, you know, where I was going and who I was going there with and who i was going to spend the rest of my life with until that very -- until that very moment. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know where to go, I didn't know who to to talk to. And all of a sudden, there you were. You were like this light, this bright and beautiful light coming out of the fog, just there to show me and to guide me. And you always said, "alison, just follow your heart and let go of your fear." And so i did. And once i did that, i realized one thing that i kept on fighting the whole time was the one thing that i really wanted, and that was you. Because we were so perfect together. We were just completely drawn to each other. And, rafe, the first time that you and I made love was so -- it was so tender because I really felt like I had found myself. I really felt like i had seen all the pieces of me from the person that i once was and in combination with the person that I am now. I felt like it was all just sort of connected together, and it was made one with you.
Livvie: No, don't listen. It's not true. You love me now.
Alison: Rafe -- don't you see? You are my destiny. This is our destiny -- I believed that then, and I still do.
Rafe: Even though I don't remember?
Alison: Even though you don't remember right now. But why else do you think that you would've walked into this room? A room where you don't even know who's in there, and you kissed a woman that you -- you don't even know? And you woke me up when nothing else could. Why? Why do you think?
Orderly: I really am sorry.
Kate: I'm fine. I'm fine. Just embarrassed.
Ian: What happened? Why were you screaming?
Orderly: Well, I didn't know she was there. I took the stairs up --
kate: I just dropped some papers, and then the door opened and he popped out and scared me, and I screamed. You know, it's all your fault.
Ian: My fault? What did i --
orderly: They're waiting for these in the lab. If you're sure you're ok --
kate: I'm fine. You just surprised me, that's all.
Ian: How is this my fault?
Kate: Oh, perhaps you've forgotten about all that talk you were doing about port charles' newest sensation -- the crusading angel of death, the mysterious shadow of justice that pops out of nowhere? God. You put all of this images of rampaging, shadowy, shrouded men in my head.
Ian: He was wearing white.
Kate: What are you, a lawyer?
Ian: I -- i didn't know you'd scare this easily, you know.
Kate: Well, now you know. Now that you know, how about buying me that drink you promised?
Kate: False alarm or not, I need to catch my breath.
Ian: All right. I'll buy you a gin-and-tonic. Why not?
Kate: Bourbon. Thanks.
Ian: Bourbon is it?
Ian: All right, counselor, let's go.
Kate: So, now, what -- what do you make of this shadow, anyway? I mean, the real shadow?
Ian: That's a good question. Come on.
Jack: Any sign?
Ricky: No, man. Zip.
Karen: Victor, are you absolutelyure?
Victor: Of course I'm sure. Straight through the park is the fastest way to the store and back. Mary would have no reason to go any other way.
Jamal: Well, she didn't just disappear.
Victor: That's why i'm so worried!
Jack: Victor, all right. Don't worry. We're going to find her, ok?
Jamal: Ok, well, come on, people, let's move, let's go. Come on.
Jack: Let's go.
Ricky: Look, victor, she probably stopped by to talk to some friends or something. Or not.
Mary: You didn't need to take my wedding ring. You just didn't need to do that.
Man: Shut up, lady!
Second man: Not a bad take. Hey, plus the couple of hits before her --
man: Yeah. Fourth of july's been pretty good to us, huh?
Second man: Talk about your independence day.
man: Hey. What was that?
Second man: What was what? Hey, man, look around. It's just you, me and -- aah!
Man: Oh, my god! Aah!
Mary: What happened?
Jack: Mary! Mary's over here.
Karen: What happened?
Mary: Victor! Victor --
victor: Are you all right?
Mary: Oh, my god. Yes, i'm ok, but i am very angry!
Karen: What happened?
Ricky: Was it those two creeps we saw earlier?
Mary: The two young hoodlums, and I told them they could take anything except --
victor: Your wedding ring.
Victor: Oh, sweetheart, it's all right as long as you're ok.
Karen: Mary, your pulse is racing. I want to take you into G.H. To check you out.
Victor: What i'd like to do is get hold of those two --
mary: No, no, no, no --
jack: Do you have any idea where these guys might've went?
Mary: They -- no, they were here one minute. It was -- it was so weird. One second they were here, and then it got really, really dark, and then they were gone.
Jamal: We know they couldn't have gotten far. Let's go check it out.
Ricky: Yeah, check it out. One of them was wearing a blue baseball cap backwards, the other one had a gray t-shirt on with the sleeves ripped off.
Mary: I -- i don't want you guys to get hurt. Please.
Karen: I'm taking mary to g.H. You guys call the cops.
Jack: Sounds good.
Jamal: Hey, ricky, why don't you go -- go with them, escort them out of the park, make sure they get to G.H. In one piece, please?
Ricky: All right.
Jamal: Just to be sure.
Jack: All right, let's go.
Ian: Cheers. Well, there's nothing like a good irish whiskey, is there?
Kate: Very true, since there's no such thing. Now, a good bourbon, on the other hand
ian: I took you for a gin-and-tonic girl myself.
Kate: Hmm. Guessed wrong. Now, back to the shadow man.
Ian: Ah, right. Shadow man. I think there's probably a reasonable explanation.
Kate: Oh, I wouldn't count on it. You know, port charles seems to be a magnet for the woo-woo.
Ian: For the what?
Kate: Oh, century-old murders and -- and magic candles, and now an invisible vigilante? I can't wait to get back to manhattan, where "weird" is a fashion choice, and I just have a dull, corporate job lawyering for the barringtons. Which reminds me, I -- i need to make a quick phone call. Do you mind?
Ian: Uh-uh. O --
kate: Just be a second.Hey, sweetheart. Yeah, I know. No, good news. Things are wrapping up here, and I should be home pretty soon. Yeah, it's been a strange trip. I love you and i miss you. Ok. I'll call you tomorrow. Bye. Significant other.
Kate: Yeah. Well, I know it's silly, but I need to call every day. He likes to hear my voice.
Ian: It's not silly at all. In fact, i -- um --
Ian: It's getting late.
Kate: Yeah, I guess it is.
Ian: Ok, well, good-bye.
Kate: Well, I should be around for a few more days, so i'm sure we're going to run into each other. And if i see any more shadowy, rampaging men, you'll be my first call.
Ian: Good night.
Kate: Good night.
kate: Hello? Damn it, how many times do i have to tell you? I will you get you the money as soon as i can.
Livvie: Don't remember, rafe. Please don't remember.
Alison: Rafe -- you kissed me when you didn't -- you didn't know who I was.
Rafe: I just saw you lying here. I felt drawn to you somehow. That's all i know. So i did what I did just because I felt like somehow i should.
Alison: But you brought me back to life.
Rafe: Oh, right. With just one kiss, huh?
Alison: No, no, no. No, not -- listen to me. Not just one kiss, it's all the kisses that you -- that you've ever given me. I mean, don't you think that that's what destiny is all about?
Livvie: Destiny. It's my destiny.
Rafe: You're trembling.
Alison: No. Just really remembering what it's like to be loved by you. And I'm a little chilly. Would you mind getting me a blanket from the closet?
Rafe: Yeah, sure. No problem.
Alison: They usually keep extra ones in there. They did when I candy-striped, anyway.
Colleen: All right, ms. Barrington, time to check your vitals.
Alison: Right now?
Colleen: Right now. I'm a little latwith your meds. Oh, your lawyer left some papers for you.
Alison: Oh, thank you.
Rafe: I'll get out of your way.
Alison: Wait, rafe. Will you just maybe get me some water in that pitcher?
Rafe: Yeah, sure.
Colleen: All right. This should just take a minute.
Alison: Colleen, everybody seems to tell you all of their problems. So, what's going on? I mean, I know that you probably know everything, even before deniece does.
Livvie: Oh, my god, that was close. Ok, so destiny brought you and rafe together, is that it, alison? Oh, and I bet that he swallowed every word that you said, but how the hell am I supposed to fight with destiny?
Kate: Please, you can't do that. Be patient just a little longer.
Mary: Oh, I'm sorry. I'm feeling a little weak.
Victor: Sweetheart, it's all right.
Karen: No one's in a rush.
Ian: What's all this?
Karen: Ian --
ian: Are you all right? What happened? Are you hurt?
Man: Oh, man --
victor: What was that?
Mary: Where is that coming from?
Jamal: Hey, guys.
Jack: Hey, what's going on?
Ricky: Hey. So, did you find them or what?
Ian: Them who?
Ricky: The two guys who mugged --
man: What the -- hey, elmo? Elmo, wake up.
Ricky: Holy --
karen: I don't believe this.
Mary: That's them! They're the guys that robbed me!
Elmo: Ernie -- oh -- how did we get -- how did we get up here, man?
Ernie: What do you mean, how? You know how. The shadow guy.
Ian: Shadow guy?
Ernie: Hey, man, get us down, would you? There's this guy in a robe and a hood. He had no face. Man, it came at us. Just cut us loose, would you?
Victor: Cut you loose? If it were up to me, i'd string you up.
Ian: Shadow guy, huh?
Livvie: Come on, rafe. You want destiny, I'll give you destiny. All right, one down, and visiting hours are just about over.
Rafe: Now, let's say everything you're saying is true. Ok, then what happened to us? I mean, if we had the kind of relationship that you say, then why would i leave?
Alison: That's something that you need to remember on your own. But what i can tell you is that what we have is so right and so perfect, and I truly believe it with all of my heart and my soul that it's a feeling that will never, ever die. It's the same feeling that brought you through that door, and it brought your lips back to my lips.
Rafe: I want to remember. I really do.
Alison: I know. You know what? You will. Just don't try so hard, ok? It will come.
Rafe: It will come. You're so sure.
Alison: I've never been more sure about anything in my whole life. But what i don't want to do is i don't want to make you feel uncomfortable in any way with any of this that I'm telling you, so I think that for right now maybe you should just go, ok, and go spend some time thinking about all of it.
Rafe: Yeah, you think?
Alison: Yeah, I do. But what i do want to happen is i want you to want to come back here. I want you to want to come back to me. I just know -- I know that you'll remember.
Rafe: I hope. I hope so.
Alison: I know so.
Rafe: Well -- good night. For now.
Alison: Yeah. Night, for now.
Livvie: Not you, not yet.
Rafe: Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Livvie: What are you doing here? Rafe, I thought you were -- oh. Of course. You came to see her.
Rafe: We need to talk.
Livvie: I can'T. Not now. Not about you and alison.
Rafe: No, I'm sorry. We have to deal with this.
Livvie: No, I can'T.
Rafe: No. Wait --
livvie: And I won'T.
Rafe: Why? What is going on with you?
Livvie: Please don't ask, ok? It's not right.
Rafe: It's not right? What's not right?
Livvie: I don't want to tell you like this -- not here.
Rafe: No, no, no, no. Please. Just tell me. Tell me what's going here. I'm not going to let you leave until you do, so just tell me.
Livvie: Ok, just -- just the worst possible "nothing." That's all, and it shouldn't be. It should be something to celebrate.
Rafe: Something to cele-- what -- what's to celebrate?
Livvie: Pregnant. Rafe, I think I'm pregnant.
>> Stay tuned for scenes from the next "port charles: Torn."
>> On the next "port charles" --
karen: I don't believe this.
Mary: Oh, that's them! They're the guys that mugged me!
Livvie: I'm sorry, rafe. I'm sorry to be a burden to you. And do me a favor -- just forget about me. Forget about us.
