Kevin: I don't believe this. Where is that sketch? It was perfect. It was her. It was Lucy. It's all I have! I can't lose that.

Ian: You don't have to do this, Lucy. We can go right back to the lighthouse.

Lucy: I know that, but I want to do this. I need to do this. Whatever happens, I want to see this through to the end.

Jamal: Hey, Ian.

Lucy: Jamal, hi.

Jamal: Lucy, how's it going?

Ian: Hey.

Jamal: Hey, Lucy, I'm sorry about this situation and everything.

Lucy: No, I know. I appreciate it. I'm sorry, too. I wonder if Livvie's going to be here. Jamal, have you seen Livvie?

Jamal: No. No, actually, it's hard to say what Livvie's going to do anymore.

Livvie: Rafe, I know you're reluctant about leaving Port Charles, but once we're gone, you will never look back ever again. I promise you. I promise.

Rafe: I don't want to, Livvie. I'm really going to try to get those things I've been seeing out of my mind forever, and I'm going to focus on the here and the now, because what could be better than that, right?

Livvie: Good. So then let's go. Let's leave right now. Let's go.

Rafe: Now?

Livvie: Yeah, why not?

Rafe: Well, I don't know, it just seems a little sudden. And there's the car.

Livvie: What about it?

Rafe: Well, it's just been sounding a little funny lately. I think there's probably something wrong with it.

Livvie: Well, it's probably nothing serious, right?

Rafe: Yeah, but it could be. It could be, so I think we should probably get it checked out.

Livvie: Really?

Rafe: I'll tell you what, I'll swing the car by the gas station while you pack.

Livvie: You know, you're sounding like a husband already. And I like that. I like that. So, yeah, you -- you go ahead and you check out the car, and I will be waiting right here to leave the second you get back, ok?

Rafe: Ok.

Livvie: Ok.

Rafe: Perfect.

Livvie: Yeah, it would be perfect, Rafe, if you could just get Alison out of your head. I can't believe she still has a hold on you. But I know this is the right thing to do. The further we get from Port Charles, the further she'll fade from your memory until she's gone -- gone from the both of our lives for good. But in the meantime, I just -- I just might have to do a little something to create some memories of our own.

Kate: Alison, what are you doing?

Judge: Miss Barrington, are you certain this is what you want?

Kate: Your Honor, if I may have a moment to confer with my client.

Judge: Yes, I think that would be wise.

Alison: No. That's not necessary. I've made up my mind. I plead guilty. Guilty of murder as charged.

Kate: One moment, Your Honor, please. We need to talk.

Lucy: Guilty?

Ian: Where did that come from?

Lucy: I don't know. She -- she swore. Even after they found Kevin's ashes, she swore she wasn't.

Jamal: Ali, come on. What are you doing?

Kate: Alison, why did you plead guilty?

Alison: Because, Kate, it's what I need to do.

Kate: What are you talking about?

Alison: If Rebecca killed Kevin, then I am just as guilty as she is.

Kate: What?

Alison: Kate, I unleashed her into the world. I listened to her and I did everything that she told me to, and now I need to pay for what I did.

Kate: With your life? Because that's what it's going to be, Alison. You've just given that judge permission to sentence you to death, and there's not a damn thing I can to do to stop it.

Alison: I will accept whatever punishment is given to me. I'm not asking you to stop it. Kate, I'm asking you to let this go.

Livvie: There. Now it looks like my faithful, old journal's been around for a while. All that's left to do is a little creative writing, guaranteed to erase any doubt in Rafe's head or mind that I am the only one he's ever loved.

Livvie's Voice: "Guess who I ran into today. Rafe. He came into the Recovery Room while I was waiting for takeout, and we talked so long my order was ice cold by the time I left. But I didn't care. There's just something about him. And I know it's not fair to compare him to Jack. Jack is so busy with the shop and all, he really doesn't have time to talk or really get to know who I am. But Rafe seems so interested in everything about me. He actually listens. And again, I felt this incredible connection. And by the way he was looking at me, I think he's feeling it, too. But this is silly. I mean, I'm not even going to go there. He's with Alison, and I'm with Jack, and that's that."

Livvie's Voice: "I can't believe what's happened. Rafe finally said it. He's admitted he's fallen in love with me. I'm so happy, even though the last thing I ever wanted was to hurt Alison or Jack. But I can't deny how I feel. I've fallen in love with him, too. The only bad part is that for now we have to keep it a secret. Alison's been acting so crazy lately, her jealousy is out of control. Rafe is actually a little worried about me."

Lucy: This is so strange.

Ian: What, Lucy?

Lucy: Alison. You know, I'm supposed to be glad that she's admitted what she's done and that she's going to be punished, and I should hate her with every bone in my body. And I really want to hate her.

Ian: But you don't?

Lucy: I don't.

Jamal: Why did you stop fighting?

Kate: She's just upset, Jamal. I'll talk to the judge. I'll make him understand it's all a mistake.

Alison: No, stop. It is -- there's no mistake. There's nothing to understand. Kevin is dead, and in the end it's my fault. It's nobody's fault but my own, and I have accepted that.

Jamal: Would you just stop and listen to me? Huh? I keep trying to tell you this is not over. Jack is -- look, I'm not trying to get your hopes up, Ali, but Jack is looking into some stuff that could just change everything, ok? Just wait.

Kate: Oh, that's great. I'll ask for a continuance, and --

Alison: Stop it. I'm tired. Look at me. I'm tired. I'm tired of trying to convince people of a story. I'm tired of trying to convince people of something I don't even know if I believe myself anymore.

Jamal: Ali, come on, all right?

Alison: No. How much can I subject Lucy to? She just lost her husband. Or Victor, who's just lost his son. All these people who have lost this great man that everyone loves. Everybody's grieving. I mean, really, how much can I put everybody through? He would still be here if it weren't for me, if it wasn't my fault.

Jamal: Ali, look, come on --

Alison: You know, the truth is Livvie was right. She said, "Alison, you don't know what you're getting into. You don't -- you don't know what you're doing with all this stuff," and she's exactly right, Jamal. Look what I have caused.

Judge: Time is up, counselor. I'll need to enter a plea.

Jamal: Ali, come on.

Alison: I'm not changing my mind.

Judge: Miss Barrington, does your plea stand as guilty?

Alison: Yes, Your Honor.

Judge: Then this court will need to hear your allocution.

Alison: What is an allocution?

Judge: You need to tell us exactly what you did. From the witness stand, under oath, you will describe, for the record, how you carried out the murder of Dr. Kevin Collins.

Alison: Your Honor, I'm ready to admit everything.

Livvie's Voice: "My love, today you brought me the most beautiful thing. Actually, two beautiful things. The first was a single, perfect pink rose. But I was so upset, I had to tell you we couldn't see each other anymore. No matter how much it would kill us to part, we couldn't keep sneaking around. But then you gave me the rose, and with it a vow, a vow that you'd never let me go, not for anyone or anything. You said there would be no more hiding. You wanted to come forward and declare our love to the world. And at last, I agreed. Rafe has done it. He finally told Alison the truth. We knew she'd be upset, even angry. But we never expected just how angry, how almost beside herself with fury. We made love yesterday for the first time. I can't even begin to describe how wonderful you made me feel, how loved and adored. Even now, just thinking about your strong, smooth hands caressing my body, it's all I can do to wait for the next time. Alison's getting worse, making all kinds of threats and warnings. I'm genuinely afraid for her and afraid for us. I know it would be easier just to give you up, but I can't. I love you too much to ever let you go. I can't believe it. We're getting married. It's finally happening, the day we've waited so long for when we'll stand before God and the world and be joined together for all eternity. I'm counting the minutes till tonight. My love, tonight, when we'll elope and start our new life as husband and wife." And now, the final entry. "Oh, Rafe, where are you? What's happened? You're gone, and I am so afraid. Please, my love, come back to me."

Alison: Before -- before I begin, I'd just like to say something to Mrs. Collins. To Lucy. Thank you for always believing in me. Thank you for standing beside me, and I'm very sorry that I let you down. I'm sorry that I made you believe in a magic candle that would bring back your husband. The truth is -- something that's gotten lost here is the fact of how much I loved this man and how much I respected him. He helped me through something that was very hard, and he helped me get through it. I'm sorry, Lucy. To Jamal, I just wanted to say thank you for being the very best friend that I ever had. Thank you for standing by me and believing everything that I told you, even though I'm sure it went against your better judgment.

Dara: Your Honor, what is this -- an allocution or some sort of bid for sympathy? I --

Judge: Miss Barrington, from the beginning.

Alison: Right, yes. It all started with my great, great, great grandmother, Rebecca. She had this candle shop a very long time ago, and she made very special candles. And I recently decided that I wanted to be just like her, so I opened my own candle shop. I wanted to make very special candles just like her, and I really just -- really wanted to help people. So I made these candles and I had no idea that they would have powerful effects on them like they did.

Dara: Your Honor, can we get to the actual homicide?

Judge: This is all very interesting, Miss Barrington. But, please, just tell the court exactly what you did to Dr. Collins.

Alison: Right.

Livvie's Voice: What did you do to my father, Alison? Tell me! You murdered him!

Jamal's Voice: I heard you say Kevin's death is your fault.

Lucy's Voice: Don't lie anymore. Kevin is dead. You killed him, and nothing can bring him back.

Kate's Voice: They found Kevin's remains.

Livvie's Voice: You'll pay for what you did, I swear to God.

Lucy's Voice: All along, you put the blame on everyone but yourself.

Rebecca's Voice: They didn't believe me in my world, and they won't believe you in yours.

Lucy's Voice: Maybe Livvie was on to something. Maybe you are a witch.

Jamal's Voice: Did Rebecca ever tell you to kill Kevin?

Lucy's Voice: You not only cost me my husband, you cost me my faith.

Judge: Miss Barrington, what happened to Dr. Collins?

Alison: I was -- one night out at the barn, Kevin came out to try and close the candle shop. And I was very angry, and he left to go get something out of his car. And when I -- when I came back -- when -- when he came back, he had his back turned to me. And I thought that that was -- that was my chance, and so I took out a knife and I -- I stabbed him, and I stabbed him until he was dead.

Kate: Alison!

Jamal: Ali, what? That's a lie!

Lucy: Oh, my God. Oh, my -- oh, my God.

Kevin: Well, that's it. I've looked everywhere. Lucy's picture's gone. Lucy's gone. Well, fine. Then I'll just draw another one. And if that one disappears, I'll draw another one after that and another one after that and another one after that. But I will not forget anything about her! I will not forget the color of her eyes, the shape of her lips. And then she will know that I'm here. She'll know how to find me.

Lucy: Doc.

Lucy: What in the world -- where did this come from?

Livvie: And that is the unforgettable love story of Livvie and Rafe. To be continued. Sweetheart, you're back. I'm almost ready to go.

Jack: I don't think so, "sweetheart."

Rafe: It's gone. My name and hers -- it was right here. I think, unless I imagined it. I could have imagined it, just like I've been imagining --

Rafe: You. But who are you? And why do these questions keep bringing me back here? No, you know what? Doesn't matter now. I have to say goodbye to this place. Whatever meaning it once held for me, it's over. It's time to move on.

Jamal: Ali, you know you didn't kill him! Why are you lying, Alison? Why are you lying?

Judge: Quiet! Quiet! This court is in session and will come to order.

Ian: Well, then maybe you should put an end to this. She's obviously not well. It's ok.

Kate: Alison? Alison, are you ok?

Ian: Alison!

>> On the next "Port Charles" --

Ian: Pupils are unequal.

Jamal: Hey, Karen.

Kate: What's happening?

Jamal: What's going on?

Karen: We'll let you know as soon as we've got something, ok?

Jamal: Is she going to be ok?

Karen: We'll let you know.

Jack: No --

Livvie: Help me, please, Rafe! Help me!
