Rebecca: Kevin -- please, come on. I can't stand seeing you like this.

Kevin: I have to keep track of the days that I'm here.

Rebecca: Won't you at least consider my --

Kevin: No! Look, Rebecca, I appreciate that you're trying to help. But, no, I can't just relax and make the best of it! Not when there's still something I can do to get out.

Rebecca: But that's just it -- there isn't --

Kevin: I don't believe that! And I won't believe that. Look, I don't care if it takes me days or weeks or however long it takes. I'm going to find a way out.

Rebecca: Kevin --

Kevin: Look, Rebecca, I have to go home.

Rebecca: Kevin, no, don't go!

Rebecca: Because I know where you're going to end up. And you're not going to like it.

Ian: Hey. Sorry I'm late.

Lucy: Hey. Oh, look at you -- you didn't have to do that.

Ian: No, of course. I wasn't going to show up empty-handed for my favorite 3-year-old's birthday party.

Lucy: Oh, well, thank you, but you are supposed to be at home resting. How are you feeling?

Ian: I'm fine. Perfectly recovered. I'm -- after the party, I think we should --

Lucy: No. No. As much as I would like to try and contact Kevin again, we're not going to do it. We're not trying again, ok?

Ian: I'm a big boy and I'm a doctor. I think I know what I can handle, so --

Lucy: I know you're a big boy, and I know you're a very fine doctor, but we've done this millions of times. We're not doing it again, ok? We're not trying. I don't want to take any chance of losing you. And besides, I think my new plan, maybe -- just maybe it'll bring Kevin back.

Ian: A new plan? About exonerating Rebecca?

Lucy: Yeah. What if we cleared her name? That lifts the curse off the town, and then Doc could come back, Alison's name's cleared, and maybe Rebecca can rest in peace finally.

Ian: Yeah. Pretty big "if," isn't it?

Lucy: I know. But I'm counting on Kate, you know? I have seen her talents in court, shall we call them?

Ian: Mm-hmm. I still can't believe you two are working together. But I'm glad she's on our side.

Kate: You got that right.

Lucy: Kate, hi.

Kate: We have got our work cut out for us. We have got a lot to do and very little time to do it in. So don't just stand there, help me get set up.

Jamal: So, Jack, what do you want to do tonight?

Jack: I don't know. What do you feel like doing?

Jamal: Oh, man, I don't know. What do you want to do?

Jack: Maybe we can go down to some club downtown or something.

Jamal: Yeah, yeah, we can do that tonight.

Jack: Or we can sit around here like a bunch of losers and try to figure out women, which might take the rest of our lives.

Jamal: Yep, yep, yep. Hey, but, seriously, you ok with everything now? I mean, you ready to move on?

Jack: Don't have much of a choice. My ex-girlfriend's not only cracked up, she's shacked up with some other guy.

Jamal: Yeah, well, mine -- she's in love with an imaginary friend.

Alison: Well, I don't understand why you won't talk to me about this new guy of yours. Livvie, I swear, I have accepted that you and Jack aren't together anymore. And if this guy makes you happy --

Livvie: He does. Alison, he does. He's really wonderful. But --

Alison: But what?

Livvie: But -- no. No, Alison, I can't do this! You are not my friend!

Alison: What?

Livvie: Not after what you've done, no.

[Phone rings]

Alison: Livvie, don't -- please don't do this, not after we just got done talking. Hello.

Livvie: Rafe.

Alison: Hi, Kate. Is there any way that maybe I could call you back? I'm, like, right in the middle of something.

Kate: No, Alison, this can't wait. I need you to come down here and tell me everything you know about this case, everything Rebecca told you, especially anything having to do with that man she's convicted of murdering.

Alison: Horatio. Well, why do you want to know more about Horatio?

Livvie: Rafe, what are you doing here?

Rafe: Well, I started to go crazy up in that cabin, so I had to get out of there. And I felt drawn to this barn, just like I did the first time. And I'm telling you, Livvie, I'm starting to make a real connection. I swear to you.

Livvie: Yeah, I know, but you shouldn't have come here. Come on.

Rafe: Why? What are you doing here? I thought you were going for some supplies or something?

Livvie: Yeah, I -- I was, but, you know, I was kind of drawn here, too. This place holds so many wonderful memories, you know?

Rafe: Right, because this is the place that we first made love.

Livvie: Yeah, that's right. That's right, but, honey, come on, let's go. We need to create some new memories somewhere else.

Rafe: No. I don't want to. I'm starting to get close, so close to finding some answers. And you know what? Maybe they're all right here in this barn. Maybe they've been here all along, so --

Livvie: No, no, no. No, Rafe, don't go in there, please. Please.

Alison: No, this has to work. That is the most incredible idea. Listen, I will be right there. Just wait. Just wait right there, ok? Ok, bye. Livvie? Livvie -- why did you leave? We were so close to connecting again.

Lucy: You know what? I really should be over there helping her with all of that.

Ian: No, it's ok. I'll deal with Kate. You just deal with this party, all right?

Lucy: Well, this whole thing that she's working on was my idea, so I should be over there because --

Ian: We're going to be right there. If we need you, we'll find you. Ok?

Lucy: Thank you for being such a good friend.

Kate: Dr. Thornhart?

Ian: I'm being summoned.

Lucy: Ok. Don't let her, you know, push you around.

Ian: I won't. Kate, you may not have noticed, but this is a girl's birthday party, not a war room.

Kate: Well, you may not have noticed, but we are in a war. I am trying to solve a 120-year-old murder case, bring a man back from God knows where, and save my client's life all at the same time. So that's why I got the brilliant idea that if I set up headquarters here, you can still play your little party games, I can keep working, but if I need anything, you're right here.

Ian: You're really something, aren't you?

Kate: I'll take that as a compliment. Well, if it isn't my two favorite ghost busters.

Jamal: Yo, Kate.

Jack: What's up, Kate?

Kate: I hope you two don't have any big plans for tonight.

Jack: Well, actually --

Kate: Good, because I'm going to need your help. Lucy and I, we've got a plan.

Jamal: Oh, you mean about trying to exonerate Rebecca? Yeah, she just told us.

Jack: Whatever you need. Take more pictures, help you out however we can.

Kate: No, no paranormal stuff. That is not going to fly in a court of law, or with my firm, for that matter. I need your help. The only way I can appeal Rebecca's verdict is to prove what really happened, and that's using evidence. Evidence in the form of cold, hard facts.

Jack: So where do we come in?

Kate: What I need from you guys are the exact dates and sequence of events from the very first picture we saw of Rebecca to the very last.

Jamal: Yeah, well, you got a time machine or something? Because I don't know how else we're going to figure that out, Kate.

Kate: Court records. And not what the newspaper says. I want exact transcripts.

Jack: Exact transcripts?

Kate: And from what I understand, Rebecca wasn't able to get in touch with Horatio after he left, so he might not have known that she was blamed for his death.

Jamal: Right, because the dude changed his name, and then he just disappeared.

Kate: Right. So the name Horatio Lodge -- dead end. But if we -- meaning you two -- can find out the name of the woman he ran away with and any of her descendants, that could lead us back to him, proving that the reverend was still alive when Rebecca was executed for his murder. Got it?

Jamal: Yeah.

Jack: Is that all?

Kate: Oh, and I need this all done yesterday. Any questions?

Jack: Yes, General, right away.

Kate: Ok, get to work.

Jack: Yes, ma'am.

Ian: Private Thornhart reporting for duty, sir. Ma'am, sir, whatever. I --

Kate: Find this amusing?

Ian: No, I just -- I saw you handing out assignments, I figured you have one for me.

Kate: You know, as a matter of fact, I do. It's very important. See if you can help Lucy keep it together. Because this is one hell of a long shot.

Lucy's Voice: Doc, what are you doing? I thought we had everything set up. What are you working on --

Kevin's Voice: Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh. Trust me, Lucy. Trust me.

Lucy's Voice: Well, I -- I want to trust you, but if you don't tell me what the heck is going on right now, I'm --

Kevin's Voice: It's just that not everyone is here.

Lucy's Voice: I don't need anybody else.

Kevin's Voice: You sure? We don't have a flower girl.

Lucy's Voice: What?

Lucy's Voice: Oh, my God. Christina? Oh!

Lucy: Oh, Doc, you're the one who brought her back. So you're the one who should be here today.

Rebecca: I tried to tell you, Kevin. All roads lead you right back here. There is no way out.

Rebecca: I tried to leave hundreds of times. I must've walked hundreds of miles, all to end up right where I started. It'll drive you crazy if you let it.

Kevin: What am I supposed to do, just give up? I can't do that. I told you, I won't!

Rebecca: Look, I know your heart is breaking because you don't want to let go. But I promise, it will get easier.

Kevin: Easier? How can it possibly be easier? Do you want to explain that one to me?

Rebecca: By learning to adjust. By accepting where we are in this moment. I can help you do that, Kevin. I can help you adjust, if you'll let me.

Kevin: I don't want to adjust. I don't want to make this easier. I want this to be so unbearable that it'll force me to find a way out. Or die trying.

Kate: So Rebecca never told you the name of this woman that Horatio ran off with?

Alison: No. No, not that I can remember, no.

Kate: Ok, can you think of anything else that she told you?

Alison: I don't -- I think that that's it. You know, everything that we just talked about.

Kate: Ok. Well, I'll let you know if we need anything else.

Alison: Ok. You know, I still can't believe this because she always told me that she felt like she could never actually rest until all the wrong that was done to her was made right, you know? And I think that now that might actually happen because of you guys.

Ian: We're all here for you. You know that.

Alison: Yeah, thank you. I guess Rebecca was wrong, you know? The world really has changed.

Kate: Well, we'll see. I still have to go into court and convince a judge of this.

Alison: Well, if anybody can do that, it's you. Thank you so much for believing in me and for believing in Rebecca, and I really appreciate it.

Kate: Well, I should get back to work or the only thing a judge will believe is that we're all crazy.

Alison: Yeah. Come on. Hey, hi.

Jamal: Hey.

Alison: What's going on?

Jamal: What's up? Well?

Alison: No, Rafe -- he hasn't come back yet.

Jamal: Right. But you'll just keep waiting, won't you?

Alison: You know who did show up was Livvie.

Jamal: Livvie?

Alison: Yeah, we actually talked for the first time in a long time.

Jamal: Wow.

Alison: Yeah, I know. Kind of felt like I had my old friend back, you know, for a little bit. She just, like, seemed so unhappy and everything. All this talk with her new boyfriend and everything else -- I mean, I asked questions about him because I wanted to know --

Jamal: Yeah.

Alison: And I just -- she seemed, like, so touchy about it.

Jamal: All right, yeah, that's nice.

Alison: Hi. I'm sorry, I didn't see you come in.

Jack: Don't be. I actually pity the poor guy Livvie's with, whoever he is.

Rafe: You feeling better?

Livvie: Yeah. I'm really sorry, Rafe. I don't know what came over me. I just -- I didn't -- I felt like I was going to faint.

Rafe: Yeah, well, you're probably exhausted from taking care of me and worrying about me all the time.

Livvie: Yeah, I am worried about you, especially when you just leave like that. Rafe, you know what the doctor said.

Rafe: Yeah, I know. I got to stay in. I got it. I just -- I -- what if he's wrong? Maybe we should see another doctor.

Livvie: I don't know. I kind of think this one --

Rafe: Livvie, Livvie, I am going out of my mind! I got to get out of here. I got to go into town, see people, do things.

Livvie: Ok, and what? Confuse yourself even more, Rafe?

Rafe: No, no. You see, that's not what's happening. Every time I leave this cabin, I get flashes of things -- not anything whole, but things that are kind of familiar. So I'm thinking that maybe the best thing for me to do is to see more because the more I see, the more chance I have of remembering us together. And that's what you want, right? That's what I want.

Livvie: Ok, ok. Ok. Look, maybe you're right. Maybe -- maybe it will be good for you. After all, doctors don't have all the answers, right?

Rafe: Yes, exactly.

Livvie: Ok, but first -- first, I just want to relax with you, ok? Let's relax and have a glass of wine, and then we'll talk about what our first big outing's going to be.

Rafe: Our first outing.

Livvie: How does that sound?

Rafe: Sounds great. Ok, I'll get some bread and some cheese.

Livvie: Great.

Rafe: And we'll have a little feast.

Livvie: Ok.

Rafe: You know, I was thinking -- maybe we'd go out to dinner sometime. Someplace we've been together, huh?

Livvie: That sounds really, really, really nice. Here, you -- you start, and I'll be right back, ok? I won't be long.

Livvie: Ok, Livvie, it was -- it was only a little sleeping pill, and it's not going to hurt him. You just -- you need some time. Time to figure out what to do next. Ok.

Livvie: Hey. Are you ready for a toast?

Rafe: Absolutely. Let's see -- to making new memories together.

Livvie: Together.

Rebecca: Kevin, you're sounding hysterical.

Kevin: What, you think I don't have a reason to flip out?

Rebecca: I'm sorry. I really did want to spare you this. But now I think maybe it's best that you know.

Kevin: What now?

Rebecca: You believe in your heart of hearts that -- that Lucy will come for you to bring you back.

Kevin: Yes, she will. That much I know.

Rebecca: And I know that she won't. Not Lucy. Not anyone.

Kevin: What are you saying?

Rebecca: What I'm saying is they all think you're dead.

Lucy: Oh, Doc. Doc, we are not giving up on you. So please, don't give up on us, either.

Ian: How are you doing?

Lucy: Oh, hi. I'm ok. I'm getting through this. And I keep thanking you, but thank you.

Ian: Let's have a party.

Lucy: Uh -- we need kids.

Ian: Oh.

Lucy: And the birthday girl. And Victor and Mary should have all of them here any minute, yeah?

Ian: All right, good. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Where are you going?

Kate: Oh, I'm not much of a party person. I'm just going to take this back to the office.

Ian: No, no, if anyone needs a party, it's you.

Kate: What's that supposed to mean?

Ian: It means take a break, counselor.

Jack: Let's see, first on General Kate's list -- transcripts.

Jamal: No, no, exact transcripts. From 120 years back, my man.

Jack: We have got our work cut out for us.

Jamal: Yeah, we --

Alison: Hey. Sorry to interrupt you guys. Can I talk to you for a second, Jamal?

Jack: Yeah -- hey, I will meet you back at the shop.

Alison: Thanks.

Jack: Ali, it's good to see you.

Alison: Ok.

Jamal: Look, Ali, I really don't want to hear --

Alison: Hey, listen to me. I just wanted to say one thing, ok? Just -- just let me say this. Jamal, I know that you're trying everything that you can to help me, and I just wanted you to know that I really appreciate everything that you're doing.

Jamal: Yeah, well, everyone in there believes in you. Everyone also loves you. But that's not going to be enough. It never will be.

Rafe: Yes, can you connect me to the Port Charles Chamber of Commerce? Thank you. Hi, hi, how are you doing? I'm new in town, and I'm wondering if you can recommend a nice spot where maybe a lot of people hang out. Yeah -- well, no, you know what? Someplace casual. Yeah. But, no, like I said, lots of people. Yeah, but -- the Recovery Room. Is that a -- restaurant/bar, good, good. And that's -- near the hospital? That's good, ok. I can find that, I think. Thank you. Thanks a lot.

>> On the next "Port Charles" --

Kevin: What is this, some kind of a sick game?

Rebecca: I never lied to you, Kevin.

Kevin: No, you never lied, you just held back. Some people would call that lying by omission.

Alison: Rafe is really close.

Kate: Then why isn't he looking for you?

Alison: I don't know. I just know that nothing would stop him from coming here.
