Victor: Well, I can't imagine that you'll want an eighth refill of this, so why don't we just --

Ricky: I'll have another.

Victor: You'll have another.

Ricky: Yeah.

Victor: Uh-huh. Drinking all this so late at night doesn't keep you up, I guess.

Ricky: Thanks.

Victor: Ok.

Mary: Victor. I have locked everything up in back. Well, are you ready? What? Oh, for heaven's -- is he still here?

Victor: I know we have a policy of never kicking anybody out, but I'm about to tell him it's closing time -- except I don't think he has anywhere to go.

Mary: Oh, that's a shame. Well, I guess we won't be lighting our favorite candle tonight.

Victor: Bite your tongue, woman. The night is always young for lovers.

Mary: I'd better put this in a very safe place. Ah!

Chris: Ok, I know what you're all thinking -- why is Dr. Ramsey -- why is he gracing the Recovery Room with his presence? Well, it's because I'm out of vermouth. So if you could be so kind to go over there and --

Victor: Of course.

Chris: Whip me up a martini, that would be just fantastic.

Victor: Of course. Always a pleasure, Chris, no matter what the hour.

Chris: Hey, what the hell are you looking for out there? Come on. I'm kind of bored.

Ricky: It's just this girl, ok?

Chris: Ah. She supposed to meet you here?

Ricky: Nah. She sort of disappeared on me.

Chris: That's the story of my life, pal. Come on, sit down. I'll buy you a drink, tell you all about disappearing women.

Jack: So what did your fortune say, huh?

Livvie: Hmm?

Jack: Your fortune. I always open mine before I eat just in case I find out something I didn't know.

Livvie: I haven't opened mine yet.

Jack: I am going to open it for you. All right. Bet you it's something good, huh? Ah. "You will be having dinner with an incredibly handsome young man who loves you very much." God. That's so right. I'm amazed at how accurate this is.

Livvie: Yeah.

Jack: Ok. Look, I know you've been thinking a lot about Rebecca.

Livvie: I don't want to, Jack, but it's kind of hard when you just found out that your best friend's ancestor was a witch and a murderer.

Jack: Hey -- but that's what she was accused of.

Livvie: All right. Well, then what about the candles that Alison's messing with? I mean, she doesn't know what she's getting herself into.

Jack: Livvie, they're just candles.

Livvie: No, Jack, they're not -- not with what Rebecca's done to them. Look at this.

Jack: "Trouble."

Livvie: Yeah. Who writes that on candles?

Jack: I don't know. I mean, it's kind of like that perfume, Obsession. You know, just a name. It's no big deal.

Livvie: Ok, well, you know what? I'm not going to take any chances this time. Whatever it is, it's out of here.

Alison: It's true because I really would do anything to be closer to Rafe because he's the very best thing that has ever happened to me.

Jamal: Ali? Who are you talking to? What's going on? It looked like you were talking to the picture like -- like you expected her to talk back to you. Did you?

[Captioning made possible by ABC, Inc., and SOAPnet]

Chris: The problem with women is they leave, ok? That's the whole deal. Now, men leave, too, ok, but at least we have the common courtesy to give you an excuse or tell you a lie before we split. Women -- they just make you fall in love with them. Then, poof, they just disappear, just like that. You got to trust me, kid. I'm two for two on this one.

Ricky: You had a few drinks there, Doc?

Chris: Not drinks. These are martinis. These are sophisticated cocktails. Now, a friend and I, we built up way too good a tolerance over the years to be affected.

Ricky: Right.

Chris: Hmm. Besides, we would never let it, you know, make us become overly sentimental or anything. So you got to believe me when I tell you, it's not the booze talking. It's a proven fact -- the ones you love always disappear.

Ricky: See, this girl of mine, she left for a pretty good reason. She died.

Chris: Ooh. That's the worst disappearing act of all.

Ricky: Right, so what's messing me up is ever since I lit this trippy old candle, I keep seeing her.

Chris: The dead girl?

Ricky: Well, when I see her, she's not dead. She's pretty much alive, you know, like walking around. So am I crazy or what?

Chris: Yeah, you're crazy.

Ricky: Oh. I was hoping there was some sort of medical explanation for this.

Chris: No, sorry. You're crazy.

Ricky: So there's just something wrong with me. Thanks anyway, Doc.

Chris: Well, you know, glad I could help.

[Chris whistles]

Chris: Ok, let's get another one of these. Bartender? Hello? Need another drink. Going behind your bar. Making it myself. Right, Eve? Hey, I always made the best ones. Let's see here. Going to need some stuff. Ok. Uh-huh. Oh. Well, that might be a possibility. Oh. Olives. Need olives. Nope. Got a candle. Hmm. Smells pretty good, too. Kind of like that one that kid was talking about. Hmm. What do you think, Lambert? You want to join me for a cocktail? Let's give it a shot. Ok, this is stupid. Drunker than I thought. I'm hungry. Let's eat.

Victor: Finally, everybody's gone.

Mary: Oh, ok. The faster we clean, the faster we get home.

Victor: I think it looks fine now.

Mary: Oh, no. Come on, let's get going. Won't take long. Here. This is a mess.

Mary: Oh! Oh, Victor. I need help with some heavy lifting in the supply closet.

Victor: I'm your man.

Mary: Oh, God. Ok. Oh, God. Victor!

Officer: Hello? Are you still serving food?

Officer: What a wonderful scent.

Alison: No. Of course I wasn't talking to the painting.

Jamal: Yeah, but I heard you.

Alison: Well, I was -- I was talking to myself. Don't you ever do that?

Jamal: Yeah, sometimes, but you don't need to talk to yourself, Ali. You got a bunch of friends you can talk to. You got Jack, you got Livvie, you got me, you got --

Alison: I know, thank you. That's -- that's awesome. I just really want to be by myself right now.

Jamal: Look, we're just worried about you, that's all -- especially because you've been spending so much time with Rebecca's things.

Alison: Well, I really wouldn't expect you to understand or -- or any of you to understand.

Jamal: Oh, but I do. I know when things get tough, sometimes it's easier to deal with the past than what's going on right now.

Alison: Is that what you think I'm doing? You think I'm, like, avoiding something? You think that, like, all this stuff is some sort of security blanket?

Jamal: I'm just saying a lot of people let you down lately. First me, then Rafe.

Alison: Don't talk about Rafe, ok, Jamal? You don't really know anything about Rafe.

Jamal: Well, I know he took off on you.

Alison: No, I told you he didn't.

Jamal: Well, then where is he, Ali? He bailed on you. Why can't you just face that?

Alison: Because that's not really what happened, Jamal.

Jamal: Ok, fine, fine. Then explain it to me. Ok, explain to me why a guy rolls into town, he plants a bunch of stars in your eyes, and then the second you fall for him -- boom, he splits.

Alison: You know what, Jamal? Whatever. This really isn't any of your business.

Jamal: What are you talking about? Yes, it is --

Alison: No, it's not.

Jamal: Ali, because I care about you whether you like it or not, Ali. And so do Jack and Livvie.

Alison: Well, great. I'm very thankful. I just really want to be by myself, ok?

Jamal: Why, Ali? So you can be alone in this barn and talk to a picture of the family witch?

Alison: She's not a witch. What are you talking about?

Jamal: Ali, come on, it is not healthy, ok. No matter what spin you want to put on it, sooner or later, you're going to have to deal with the fact that what Rafe did to you is messed up.

Alison: Oh, yeah, wait. This isn't about you being, like, a really good friend to me. Jamal, you want me back.

Jamal: Ali, would that be such a bad thing?

Chris: Is there a problem, officer? I mean, if it's about the food, I was just in the kitchen grabbing a sandwich. I know the owners, so it's not that big a deal. I've been drinking. I'm not drunk or anything, I mean -- maybe a little, but I always call a cab or have a designated driver. Absolutely. Is there something on my shirt or -- please tell me my fly's not open.

Officer: Your clothes are the last thing I'm interested in.

Chris: Am I under arrest?

Officer: Dance with me.

Ricky: Come on, Ricky. Come on, man, get a grip! Casey's gone. She's never coming back. Ah, man, she's -- she's gone. Casey! Hey.

Jack: Do you feel better now that the candles are gone?

Livvie: You know, it sounds kind of silly, but, yeah. I mean, at least now it feels like everything about Rebecca is far away and none of her witchcraft can touch us.

Jack: Hey -- I'm not going to let anything happen to you or me. Trust me.

Livvie: Ok. I'm glad we're both seeing the same way on this now. You understand that we've got to stay away from anything Rebecca's touched -- I mean, the camera, the candles. We've just got to concentrate on us.

Jack: I agree. And I'm not going to let anything come between us.

Livvie: Good. I don't want to talk about any of this anymore. It's just us now. I love you so much.

Jack: I love you, too.

Alison: What you and I had was -- was really special, you know, but Rafe -- I --

Jamal: Look, I don't want to hear about Rafe, ok? I wish he never stepped foot in this town.

Alison: I know, I know. But he did, and I --

Jamal: Look, and I wish you would just forget him, Ali. And, yes -- ok, fine, yeah, I do want you back. And I know you're not trying to hear that right now, but I can accept that. Ok, but what I can't accept is you locking yourself away because you're missing that wimpy jerk.

Alison: No, Jamal -- ok, don't talk about him like that.

Jamal: Look, Ali, you're cutting yourself off from people who care and want to help you, ok? I'm really worried about you, Ali.

Alison: I don't see what is so wrong about what I'm doing.

Jamal: Ali, come on. Why don't you look around? Look.

Alison: What? What about it? I don't get it. I mean, what is so wrong with wanting to be in a place that really means something to me, ok, or wanting to be around things that mean a lot to me, too? Ok, what is the big deal?

Jamal: Ali, you know what the big deal is.

Alison: Jamal, I don't know what Livvie told you about Rebecca, ok, but she's not a witch.

Jamal: Ok, yeah, well, all of Port Charles' history thinks she was. Ali, she did some messed-up things with those candles. She started screwing with people's heads, Ali.

Alison: Well, that's just because people didn't understand her, Jamal.

Jamal: Ali, come on, you don't understand. She killed somebody. She murdered a minister in cold blood, Ali. Come on!

Alison: No. No.

Jamal: Then she hung for it, Ali, right after she cursed the whole town.

Alison: No, no, no, no --

Jamal: Yes, she did, Ali. Come on, we read it, Ali.

Alison: No! Rebecca never told me about any of that. We never talked about any of that.

Jamal: Ali, are you saying -- are you saying that you really do think that she talks to you?

Woman: Hey, what are you doing?

Ricky: Look, I -- I am so sorry. I thought you were somebody else.

Woman: Are you ok?

Ricky: No, no. I don't know what's going on, all right? My -- my girl, she's gone. She was an angel, and I just miss her, that's all.

Woman: I can see that. Can I buy you a cup of coffee or something?

Ricky: No, no. Thanks. And, hey, I'm -- I'm really sorry, again.

Woman: Take care.

Ricky: Yeah, you, too. Come on, Ricky, man, this is crazy!

[Music plays]

Officer: Come on. I said dance with me.

Chris: Come on. This is like a bad porn movie. It's actually like a good one, but -- are there cameras somewhere?

Officer: See, it's not so bad, is it?

Chris: No. No, it's not.

Officer: Feels pretty good, doesn't it?

Chris: Yeah, I feel amazing.

Officer 2: What's taking so long -- hey, get off her! I said get off her!

Chris: Ah -- ah --

[Chris groans]

Jack: All right. I'm not going to let this come between us. I just have to figure out what's up with that picture. I know I saw an image of Rebecca in the picture I took.

Livvie: Jack?

Jack: Shh. It's ok. All right, go back to sleep. Don't worry. Ok, I can handle this.

Jamal: Ali, do you really believe that Rebecca talks to you? Answer me, Ali.

Alison: What if I told you that -- that she really does talk to me and she told me her whole story? What would you think then?

Jamal: Ali, if you really believe that's what's going on --

Alison: Jamal --

Jamal: I would say you need help.

Alison: I'm fine.

Jamal: Look, you keep saying all these things. I don't know what to believe.

Alison: You're going to believe whatever you want to believe, regardless of what I say.

Jamal: Look, come on, would you just talk to me? Ok, let's just go someplace else so we can talk tomorrow.

Alison: No, I'm comfortable here.

Jamal: What, in an old barn with things that are, like, 100 years old, Ali? Come on.

Alison: No, this isn't just an old barn, Jamal.

Jamal: Then what is it? Is this, like, someplace special for you and Rafe?

Alison: Yeah, that's -- yeah, that's right.

Jamal: Ali, come on, he's gone! Ok, you can't keep sitting around like he isn't.

Alison: Jamal, I know that you are my good friend and you are really trying to help me. Ok, I know that, but -- but, really, I'm fine. I am. I just -- well, I just -- I really want some time to myself.

Jamal: Look, Ali, I don't think that's what's best for you right now.

Alison: Jamal, that's not your decision anymore. Ok? I really think that maybe you should just go.

Jamal: Fine, I'll go. But I am not bailing on you. I'll be here if you need me.

[Door opens and closes]

Alison: Rafe. Oh, Rafe. I miss you so much, and everything has just fallen apart ever since you've left. Please come back to me. Nobody understands.

Rebecca: I understand, Alison. And I know what you need. I can bring Rafe back to you.

Alison: But you said last time that you couldn't do that.

Rebecca: I know. But you're in so much pain. Will you let me help you?

>> On the next "Port Charles" --

Kevin: I think you should come stay with Lucy and me.

Rebecca: The candle's here for your use. I'll let you decide for yourself.

Lucy: What in the world is so special about that thing?

Victor: It makes us -- crazy?

Mary: Out of control.

Lucy: Ew.
