Serena: Where's Christina?

Lucy: Oh, I asked Maxie to babysit for us today.

Scott: I keep thinking that Eve's just going to come walking through the door like this was just a big mistake.

Serena: Dad, that's not going to happen.

Scott: You're right. It's not going to happen. I mean, Eve's had some pretty close calls, but -- she always looks like she was getting her head in the noose, but --

Lucy: She always did, and then -- well, I guess, till now.

Serena: I can't believe I'm never going to hear Eve call me "girlfriend" again.

Lucy: Hey, you -- you know what? You will. You'll hear her voice inside your heart.

Serena: It's just not the same, though.

Lucy: I know.

Kevin: Ok.

Lucy: Oh, Doc --

Kevin: Guess we should go pick up Ian, huh?

Lucy: Yeah.

Kevin: I'm ok. I just don't want to lose it again.

Lucy: Ok.

Kevin: Ok.

Lucy: But you have to know this is hard on not just you. It's hard on all of us. But, Doc, we know that Eve is with the angels. We know that. It's not just faith. We know it, ok?

Kevin: On second thought, I think I'll take that hug.

Lucy: Ok. Ok.

Kevin: Ok.

Lucy: Ok. Ian's waiting, right? Ian's --

Kevin: Yeah.

Lucy: Ok. We are going to meet you two in the park, ok?

Scott: Ok. Look after Dr. Thornhart.

Lucy: Yeah. We will.

Scott: Ok. Come on.

Lucy: Doc?

Kevin: Time to go.

Lucy: Yeah.

Kevin: Ok.

Lucy: Ok.

Jack: How does my tie look with this? Does this -- hello? Livvie?

Livvie: Fine, Jack. Whatever.

Jack: Ok, stop. Look, Alison just asked me to help her find her great-great-great grandma's missing things.

Livvie: Oh, yeah, right. I shouldn't be angry with you for going out hunting for a witch's belongings, right? I mean, it's not like real witches really exist or vampires or --

Jack: Livvie, she asked for help.

Livvie: Well, she didn't have to, and you didn't have to go.

Jack: Ok, I'm going to go put another tie on.

[Knock on door]

Jack: Look, would you get that, ok?

[Livvie sighs]

Livvie: Nothing's ok, Jack.

Alison: Hi.

Livvie: Hey.

Alison: I know that you're probably still mad at me and stuff, but I was just really hoping that maybe I could go to Eve's service with my two best friends.

Livvie: Yeah, I guess it's been a really hard day for all of us.

Alison: Thank you.

Jack: Hey, Ali.

Alison: Hi.

Jack: Any luck on finding that stuff yet?

Alison: No, no, not yet, but -- but I won't give up. I can't.

Livvie: You can't?

Alison: I won't.

Ian: Will you look at this, huh? It's your mom's favorite sweater on you. Hey, look at this. You got the white shoes and socks and everything. Hey, Danny, here's the thing. You might see a lot of people crying today, but that's because they loved your mother very much. There's nothing to be scared of, ok? Nothing to be scared of at all because your mom will always be here with us.

[Knock on door]

Ian: It's time.

[Ian sighs]

Ian: Hey.

Kevin: Hey.

Lucy: Hey. Sorry we're running a little behind. Is there anything we can do?

Ian: I don't think so.

Kevin: Are you -- you ready to go, then?

Lucy: Ian?

Ian: Yeah. Oh, ready? I really don't know.

Karen: Well, I guess we're the first.

Frank: Yeah, looks like. It's going to be some sunset. Help people get in the mood to remember.

Livvie: You see? We're not late at all. Ian's not even here yet.

Jack: Yeah. I can't imagine what Ian's going through -- you know, no warning at all.

Alison: Yeah, well, even if you do have some sort of warning, it doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye to someone that you love.

Jack: Hey, Alison, we're really glad you came with us. We really are. Right, Livvie?

Livvie: Yeah. Your grandmother just came. Are you going to say hello to her?

Alison: I don't think so. Not after all that -- she threw away all that stuff of Rebecca's that meant so much to me. No, I don't --

Jack: Hey, hey, hey, hey. Don't worry about that right now, ok? Tomorrow morning we're going to get to search.

Livvie: Excuse me. My grandfather's here.

Alison: Wait, Livvie --

Jack: Livvie --

Livvie: Grandpa.

Victor: Livvie, you're here.

Mary: Where are Kevin and Lucy?

Livvie: Well, there's no sign of them yet.

Gail: Scotty.

Lee: Hi.

Scott: Oh, hey.

Lee: How you doing, son?

Serena: Hi, Grandma.

Gail: How are you doing?

Serena: I'm ok.

Scott: Yeah, it is tough. Terrific, terrific girl.

Alison: Is Livvie still angry?

Jack: What was your first clue?

Jamal: Hey.

Jack: Jamal. What's up?

Jamal: How are you? Ali, good to see you.

Alison: Yeah. You, too, Jamal. Uh -- Jack, your brother's here.

Jack: Hey, Chris.

Jamal: He was -- they were pretty close, huh -- I mean, Eve and Chris?

Jack: Yeah.

Alison: Maybe we should, you know, not leave him alone.

Livvie: Dad, Lucy, hi.

Kevin: Oh, hi, honey.

Livvie: I'm so sorry, Dad.

Kevin: I know. So am I.

Livvie: Ian --

Ian: Thanks. Thank you. Can you hold him for a little bit? I'm going to get this started before it gets dark, ok?

Livvie: Ok.

Kevin: You going to be ok, Livvie?

Livvie: Yeah.

Ian: Ok. Hey.

[Danny babbles]

Karen: Ian?

Ian: Yeah.

Karen: Can I help?

Ian: Um -- yeah. Why don't you get it started? Ok?

Karen: I'll try.

Ian: Ok.

Karen: Hi. I -- I don't know where to start or how to -- we all have our memories of Eve. We all laughed with her, cried. She was my sister and -- not really, but we were close, and -- I think about all this --

Karen: I'm sorry, I can't do this. I just miss her, and I just --

Ian: Ok. Hey, we all do.

[Karen sobs]

Ian: First, I'd like to thank everyone for coming today. It's good to see the faces of her friends. She loved you all very much. And I know you loved her. She was a very special woman. You know she was -- she was very special. Um -- I haven't been sleeping much lately. I've been trying to find the right words to describe what she did for this world -- you know, for strangers, for me --

Ian: Ok. I'm sorry. Lost my train of thought. Someone left a candle outside of our apartment. I'm not sure who it was, but might have been one of you. Anyway, I brought it inside and I lit it, and there was -- there was such a -- such peace came from it. I'd been looking for something that -- that Eve gave me before she -- before she left. I couldn't find it. Anyway, I lit the candle, and -- and everything changed. Didn't it?

[Danny babbles]

Ian: I could feel her -- her love and her warmth, her strength. Strength. Right. My sweet wife. My sweet wife.

Kevin: Eve was divine. And I -- I mean that in the -- the ways that we're all supposed to share that tiny spark of God inside us. She was compassion and love, mercy. And she was in the simplest and deepest way a true friend, a true heart. And not a day will go by that she isn't with me. And every day, I'll thank God for that.

Chris: Oh, Lambert. You always had a special place in my heart. You know that. If for no other reason than the fact that you -- you appreciated a good dry martini more than anybody. Back when we shared a place together, we became really close. Shared a lot of wonderful memories, you know. Good times. Before she became a respectable woman, of course. She was and always will be my very best friend. She -- she could be messy. Never would pick up after herself. I always got on her for that. And she'd watch those old movies, you know, and she'd -- she'd cry and go through tissues -- and those sappy love songs. Never stopped playing those. Drove me crazy. And, of course, her very favorite was the one I hated the most, and it only spurred her on to play it all the time. I've heard it millions of times. You remember that song, don't you? Huh? o/~ Someday when I'm awfully low when the world is cold I will feel a glow just thinking of you and the way you look tonight oh, you're lovely with your smile so warm and your cheeks so soft there is nothing for me but to love you just the way you look tonight o/~

Chris: o/~ You're lovely never, ever change keep that breathless charm won't you please arrange it? 'Cause I love you just the way you look tonight just the way you look tonight o/~

Alison: Oh, my God.

Jack: Alison -- Alison?

Chris: I loved her very much.

Ian: I know you did. Come here. She loved you, too. Well, I wish Eve could be here for that. She would've loved it. I'm -- I'm not real good at asking people for help. I never was. But I'm going to need your help here. I need you to tell this young man. I need you to tell him all the stories about his mother. I do what I can, but there's never enough time, is there? I once told her that I wanted her not just for one night but for always. Truer thing was never said. I'll always love you. Hey, come here.

Livvie: So you saw that, didn't you?

Jamal: Saw what?

Livvie: Alison leaving with Jack? I mean, can you believe it?

Jamal: Well, where's Rafe? He wasn't here at all?

Livvie: Oh, no, Rafe's gone.

Jamal: Oh. I didn't know.

Livvie: Well, now you do.

Jamal: So, what, is that where they went -- looking for Rafe?

Livvie: No, what Alison's looking for is trouble, and I bet my boyfriend that's she's finding it as we speak.

Jack: Alison, Alison, slow down, all right? Just wait.

Alison: No, Jack, I just -- I had to get out of there, you know? It was -- that candle -- it was the only thing I could think about all of a sudden. I was the one who gave that to him. It was one of Rebecca's.

Jack: Hey --

Alison: I just didn't know what else to do.

Jack: Hey, hey --

Alison: You know what? It's not --

Jack: Just breathe.

Alison: It's not fair. I mean, you give somebody everything and then they're just gone.

Jack: Alison, is this about Eve or Rafe?

Alison: It's about both of them. I mean, I would give anything if I could have even just one more second with him. But I can't. I never will, and it's impossible.

Jack: It's not impossible. You guys had that special place -- you and Rafe. So maybe you need to do what Ian's doing -- say a proper goodbye.

Ian: All right. Let's get some rest, huh? What do you think? Just you and me, boy. You and me against the world, huh? Come on. Going to set you down and rest. Hey, Danny -- just know your mom will always be here. Ok?

Ian: We'll take comfort in that, won't we? Take comfort in it.

Ian: "Out, out, brief candle. Life is but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more." "Is heard no more."

[Wind blows]

Ian: What was that? What was that, boy? Are you ok? Where's your blanket? You know what? Maybe I left it at the park. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Let me find you something else. Let me get you something -- but you got the blanket. I just -- maybe I'm losing it. Aren't you -- maybe I -- or maybe she did.

Ian: Hey -- keep watching over us. We need you to. We need you to.

>> on the next "Port Charles" --

Frank: Something happened to her, Garza. She would never give you that key. Now, either you tell me what you know or I'm going to mess up that miracle face all over again.

Alison: Rebecca.

Jack: I've seen her. I know her.

Jamal: What are we looking for?

Livvie: A witch.
