Alison: Hey, you might want to be careful, or you're going to be wearing that pizza.

Rafe: Hmm, like you already are?

Alison: I am not. I've been very careful.

Rafe: Made you look.

Alison: Stop it! My nana bought -- I'm sorry -- my grandmother bought me this sweater, and it cost a fortune, so don't scare me like that.

Rafe: Yeah, well, why don't we make a deal? Why don't neither one of us scare the other anymore, ok? If I didn't come back when I did --

Alison: I know, just don't say it. Ok? No more gas fireplaces. There's much better ways to keep warm.

Rafe: If anything happened to you --

Alison: I know, but it didn't, ok? It didn't. And look, it's a beautiful, almost spring day out.

Rafe: Almost.

Alison: And we're here together. You know? So stop worrying.

Rafe: Yeah, stop worrying, huh?

Alison: Please.

Rafe: Ok.

Alison: Ok?

Rafe: Deal.

Alison: I'll take that deal.

Rafe: Come here.

[Music plays]

Livvie: Alison.

Alison: Livvie.

Rafe: Hey.

Livvie: Hey. Sorry to bust up your lip lock, but I was just wondering if you care that Jamal's trying to kill himself.

Kevin: It's time to wake up, Christina. Your signs are good, your vitals are good. Remember when we talked about going to the zoo when the weather got warmer? Well, it's going to be warmer soon. And I can't go to the zoo by myself. I need you to help me find the lions and the tigers and the bears, oh, my. Besides, you have to wake up because I haven't had enough time to love you yet. Not enough.

Lucy: Doc?

Kevin: Lucy.

Lucy: I can't believe it. I found that doll that she wanted in the gift shop.

Kevin: Shh.

Lucy: She needs a new dolly, another new dolly here --

Kevin: Lucy, her signs are good. She's going to be fine.

Lucy: I know, but we don't even know if she can hear when she wakes up, and if she wakes up, then, even if --

Christina: Mommy?

Lucy: Christina! Hey!

Christina: A new dolly?

Lucy: Yes. Yes, a new dolly. She's all yours. You heard me, didn't you? You heard me. She heard me, Doc. You're going to be ok. That's your new dolly. That's your very own new dolly.

Ian: Think again before you say anything else.

Eve: I have been thinking and hoping. But now my head and my heart say the same thing. And seeing you with Amy, it's just over, ok?

Ian: You believe that there was no affair?

Eve: I believe that you didn't sleep with her. But an affair of the heart. You may not have been physical with her, but you were turning to her emotionally.

Ian: So this is my fault? There was no affair, but because I care about Amy --

Eve: No! No, this is not your fault. This is neither one of our fault, ok? We just have to accept it, Ian. Our marriage is over.

Ian: Listen to me, Eve --

Eve: No. Ian, there's nothing left. We've tried everything to fix it. And we can't.

P.A. Announcer: Drs. Lambert and Thornhart to Room 420. Drs. Thornhart and Lambert, Room 420.

Eve: That's Christina's room. We got to go.

Ian: Eve, wait.

Eve: No, we have to go.

Ian: We can't go and leave this hanging between us.

Eve: There is nothing hanging between us. I've made up my mind. I'm filing for divorce.

Casey: What, yo, hey, Jamal? What up?

Jamal: What? What do you want, crazy?

Casey: What, what, what? Look, look, I was just wondering, that's all right. I mean, you're not planning on doing anything brain dead like riding your bike? Huh? Because you practically drained that whole bar at that party.

Jamal: Oh, what, and you all of a sudden care so much about me, Casey? Is that it? Ever since you tried to kill me?

Casey: Look, man, I am just trying to make an apology here. See, you know what? If you would just shut up and listen, then maybe you just might figure that one out.

Jamal: No, what I figure, Casey, is people like you only make apologies when they got something they think they can get. Little girl, what do you want from me?

Alison: What are you talking about, Jamal trying to kill himself? What are you talking about?

Livvie: Jamal? You know, the guy I thought you loved? That Jamal?

Alison: Livvie, I have not even talked to him or seen him in days.

Livvie: Right. That's because you're too busy playing house. I mean, being touched by an angel.

Alison: Oh, that's nice.

Livvie: Well, Alison, outside the pearly gates, a real life still goes on. And while you're making love to Rafe, Jamal's out there making some serious enemies.

Rafe: Serious, how?

Livvie: Jack said he tried to scam on some guys that like to hurt people, like, seriously hurt people.

Alison: No, but he tried so hard to even break out of that lifestyle.

Livvie: Yeah, and then you blow him off. And then he was so hurt and down that he's totally given up on himself, not that you care or anything.

Alison: Oh, stop it! What are you talking about? You know that I do!

Livvie: Yeah? Well, then why don't you act like it, Alison? And I'm not saying that you have to go back to him. I'm just saying that maybe you can stop living your life like nothing else in the world matters other than you and this winged wonder.

Alison: Ok, that is not fair.

Livvie: "Not fair," huh?

Rafe: Whoa, whoa, guys, whoa.

Livvie: No, Jamal has pushed the self-destruct button, and you're sitting here stuffing your face with pizza. Now, what the hell is fair about that?

Eve: So, I hear that somebody around here's feeling better.

Kevin: Hey.

Ian: Yeah. Ears have cleared up, too, right?

Deneice: I'll call the lab on those cultures.

Kevin: Thank you, Deneice.

Lucy: Thanks, Deneice, thank you, and thank you for spotting what it was right away. I think that made all the difference in the world. And I think I owe a lot of people an apology for getting so upset about everything, especially Karen, huh?

Eve: Well, hey, when your kid's sick, you go a little crazy.

Lucy: Yeah, you sure do. Hey, you, thank you. You saved my little girl's life.

Eve: It's always nice when we can help turn a bad situation around.

Ian: Yeah. It's good when that happens.

Lucy: And, you, I think you did everything, too, by talking to her like that and drawing those goofy pictures, and I think she woke up because she wanted to hear your voice. You brought not my little girl, you brought our little girl back, Doc. I love you for that, and you're my hero.

Kevin: Oh --

Lucy: Oh, and --

Eve: I'm going to go help Deneice with the labs, if you'll excuse me.

Lucy: What is it? Is she ok?

Ian: She -- I'll find out.

Lucy: Hey.

Kevin: Hey.

Lucy: Thank you.

Ian: Hey.

Eve: No. Not now, Ian.

Ian: Yes, now. That in there, that's a real family.

Eve: You don't think I know that?

Ian: What I think is that you're willing to give up on ours a little too soon. Yeah, walk away. It's easy.

Eve: What? You think this is easy for me?

Ian: Come with me.

Eve: Where?

Ian: To a place that'll help us remember.

Eve: No, I'm not going back to the cabin, Ian.

Ian: I don't mean the cabin.

Eve: Then where?

Ian: You just have to trust me.

Kevin: Hey.

Lucy: Hey. You know, there's nothing more beautiful than watching your little girl resting all safe and sound and healthy.

Kevin: I don't know. Watching her mother watch her ranks right up there.

Lucy: Ooh. Thank you, Dr. Collins. You know something?

Kevin: Hmm?

Lucy: I absolutely could not have gotten through all of this without you.

Kevin: It's time to start our lives together as a family.

Lucy: Oh, yeah, I'm sure you can't wait for those burnt family dinners and car pooling and looking for that toy all over the house because we can't find it anywhere.

Kevin: Being a husband, being a father -- ooh -- to both your daughters, Livvie back in my life, it's all I ever wanted.

Lucy: Hey, are you sure you're not sorry that you stopped painting Paige's portrait?

Kevin: No. We never should have let her into our lives. But she's gone for good now. And the only thing that matters is us. Just us.

Casey: You know something? You are paranoid, man. Look, I'm just here, trying to say sorry, ok? Look, we got off on the wrong foot.

Jamal: Forget it. Look, you want to play Ricky? Go ahead, run your game, baby. I could care less about him, ok? But as far as you and me being friends or buddies or anything else like that? Do us both a favor and just give it a rest, all right? I'm out.

Casey: Well, hey, man, what? You always been this big of a jerk, huh? Or is it just because Alison dumped you for Rafe?

Jamal: Look, I told you, Ali's off limits. You got that?

Casey: Look, you had the girl, you lost her. So what? What, you think you're the first? Wake up, get past it, or kill yourself. It's your call. But you know what? Don't take your misery out on the rest of the world on your way, and especially don't take that out on me.

Livvie: Well, Alison, I never believed you when you said how self-centered you used to be. I certainly believe you now.

Rafe: Come on, Livvie, just give her a chance.

Livvie: What, like Jamal had a chance? Rafe, Jamal's a guy and you're an angel. You fly in and rev up your magical mojo, and, poof, Alison's yours. What a challenge. You wiggle your halo and dazzle her right into your arms when you know in a couple weeks you're going to be sent back up in the clouds leaving her here --

Alison: Ok, ok, stop it.

Livvie: All alone.

Alison: Stop it. Ok, I make my own choices. You know, at least I wasn't brainwashed, you know, or sort of hypnotized by some vampire.

Livvie: That's really nice, Ali.

Alison: Listen to me, I'm sorry. Ok, but I'm just trying to make you see that Rafe and I, we really do love each other.

Livvie: And I'm sorry if I'm being a real friend and I'm calling things the way I see them.

Alison: Well, I guess you have.

Livvie: Yeah, now I have.

Alison: Great.

Rafe: You ok?

Alison: No. No, not really.

Rafe: You know, why don't we get out of here. Maybe we can --

Alison: No, no, I'm sorry, Rafe, we can't. I really need to go to him. Ok? It's just that we've -- we've really been through a lot together, Jamal and I, and I --

Rafe: What?

Alison: I'm worried about the fifth chair. And I know that someone's going to die in a couple of weeks, and I just --

Rafe: And you don't want that someone to be Jamal.

Alison: I just want to make sure that I do everything that I can, you know, to make sure that he doesn't hurt himself.

Rafe: I understand, you know. It's just --

Alison: What?

Rafe: I know you have to go. But I guess I'm afraid. I'm afraid if you go to Jamal, you'll never come back.

Alison: Oh, no. No, no, no, no. Rafe, I love you.

Rafe: I know. And I love you, but --

Alison: But nothing, ok? I'll be back, ok? Promise.

Rafe: Ok.

Alison: Ok? I'll see you later.

Rafe: Right. Later.

Livvie: You alone, Rafe?

Rafe: Looks like it.

Livvie: Where'd Alison go?

Rafe: Jamal.

Livvie: Good.

Rafe: Livvie. Don't you think you laid on the guilt a little thick, maybe?

Livvie: You don't get it, do you, Rafe? Alison and Jamal, Jack and I, we have been to hell and back and we got through it together.

Rafe: I know. But you know what? I'm not the only who broke up your foursome. Jamal is. Jamal's the one who broke up with Alison. You know, it was complicated, but it wasn't until then that Alison and I -- we fell in love --

Livvie: Come on, Rafe.

Rafe: What?

Livvie: You came on to her way before that.

Rafe: I did not come on to -- forget it. I'm not going to apologize for our relationship.

Livvie: For a relationship that has a time limit. Rafe, if you have to go back anyway, why can't you just go back now and at least give them a chance?

Rafe: Because it's too late. Livvie, I love her too much. We love each other, ok?

Livvie: Well, then, there's no reason to worry about Alison going to see Jamal then, is there?

Alison: Jamal.

Jamal: Ali. What are you doing here?

Alison: I was looking for you.

Ian: Planning on coming in?

Eve: I don't know why you brought me here, Ian. This place isn't exactly full of warm, fuzzy memories.

Ian: Maybe not, but they're important ones.

Eve: Well, maybe to you, but I'd rather be someplace else, with Danny, most of all.

Ian: Danny's fine. He's with a sitter. The best thing we can do right now and the best thing we can do for him is work this out.

Eve: You know I still have nightmares, don't you? I can still see his face and hear his voice.

Ian: Harris.

Eve: He terrorized us here. He threatened our lives in this very place.

Ian: Well, this is also the place where we fell in love. How about that? So if you can look around this place and see nothing but mayhem and fear, if you can't see the best part of us, then we've lost and I'll give you your divorce. I will. But before that, you look around this room where it all started, and if you want this to be the place where it all ends, so be it. It's our last chance.

Lucy: Hey, little dolly. Do you want to go swimming in my pond with me? Do you? Do you?

Christina: No, no, thank you.

Lucy: No, thank you? How come? Quack! Why not? No swimming? Come on!

Christina: Because I'm so tired.

Lucy: Oh, no. Well, you think you can wake up if we go buy a new swimsuit and then we can go swimming when it warms up a little bit, huh?

Christina: Yeah!

Lucy: Yeah? Yeah? You want to go swimming at home? Christina, are you ready to go home and see Sigmund and play? Are you, huh? Quack! Quack! Quack! Quack! I bet he tickles you all over when we get home, don't you think?

Christina: Yeah.

Lucy: Hey, are you -- are you absolutely sure you're ok? Are you feeling ok?

Christina: Mommy? Where'd he go?

Lucy: You mean Kevin? He went home to check on Sigmund and make sure the house is all ready for you when you get home. You miss him, huh? I'm so glad. Hey, you know something? I'm glad you two are becoming buddies and friends because Kevin loves you very, very much, as much as I love you. And we're going to be together forever as a family, forever and ever. And nothing, nothing, not anything in this world will ever tear us apart. I love you. Oh, my God. Hey, Sigmund loves you, too. Oh, he's going to get you! Quack! Quack! Quack! Quack! Quack! Quack!

Kevin: The background report on Paige that I've been waiting for. Thanks for hurrying, guys. It hardly matters now.

Kevin: Paige and her husband, taken at the annual fundraising ball for the national trust, right before being killed in a head-on collision.

Kevin's Voice: Well, the government sure did one heck of a job faking Paige's death. Hmm. And after all these years, she still looks the same. Wait a minute -- that dress. She's wearing the same dress she wore in my vision, the tunnel of light, when I thought I was dying. But that was a dream, wasn't it? And what she said to me about helping me to cross over?

Kevin: Christina.

Paige's Voice: If it's too hard for you, you can let go. I promise I'll be here for you every step of the way.

Kevin's Voice: Paige? What the hell are you trying to tell her?

Paige's Voice: I was just trying to comfort her.

Kevin's Voice: By letting her know it's ok to die? By offering to help? What the hell's the matter with you? Oh, my God. Paige, I think I know what you are!

>> On the next "Port Charles" --

Rafe: Maybe you're not worried anymore about who's going to die because maybe you already know the answer.

Ian: Before you turn your back on us, just have a look at what you're leaving behind, would you?

Alison: I still love you.

Jamal: Do you love me enough to say give it another try?
