Jack: I'm telling you, man, it's like you got a death wish. Why would you want to rile up J.D. and his gang, anyway?
Jamal: Look, just take the money and cut the lectures, all right?
Jack: Hey, listen to me. You and your dumb relative don't know who you're messing with.
Ricky: Hey, hey, hey. We're not related, all right? We just got the same sister.
Jack: Look, J.D.'s dangerous. He's connected.
Jamal: You going to let go of my arm? Thank you.
Ricky: Better start looking for a new friend, Jack, because that dude is a lost cause.
Jack: You don't know much about being a friend, do you?
Frank: Any word on Christina?
Karen: Well, her blood work is due back any minute, but she's one sick little girl.
Mary: What's keeping them?
Victor: Sweetheart, Gabby and Joe can't be on time if it's going to be a surprise party.
Mary: What if they decided to take an earlier flight?
Karen: Oh, shh, shh, shh. They're here, they're here.
Mary: You didn't think we'd let you go without a proper goodbye, did you?
Gabriela: Thank you. Thanks.
Chris: Oh, the love fest just makes your heart go pitter-patter, doesn't it?
Eve: You know what? Maybe you shouldn't have come. It's nice to see somebody's happy.
Chris: Why don't you and Ian take a tip from the lovebirds and get out of Dodge?
Eve: Actually, what I'd really like is for Amy to get out of Dodge. Every time I turn around, she's in my face.
Chris: Yeah, well, I told you she was trouble. You know something? This picture of her -- whoo, man, I'll tell you, it still fascinates me.
Eve: Put the picture away, Ramsey, ok?
Chris: Every time I look at it, I see something different.
Eve: Put the picture away!
Chris: Lambert, I'm telling you, Amy is not who she says she is.
Eve: I don't care who she is. I just want her out of my life.
Chris: Oh, you mean out of Ian's life, right?
Eve: I guess you're right, because it's kind of hard to save my marriage with her around.
Amy: I really screwed up, didn't I? I made things worse by -- by talking to Eve.
Ian: No, no, no. She's just wasn't ready to hear what you were saying.
Amy: I was just trying to get her to see what a great guy you were.
Ian: Well, I am, surely, but I've made my mistakes, too.
Amy: I'm sorry. I guess we shouldn't be talking like this.
Ian: No, no, no, it's ok. It's all right. Ahem.
Amy: What is it, Ian?
Ian: Just a little anxious.
Amy: Did I stick my foot in my mouth again?
Ian: No, no, no. Just anxious, is all.
Ian: Christina's blood work should come back any minute now.
Amy: You're pretty sure of what she's got, right?
Ian: Yeah. Just hope I'm right.
Kevin: What are you doing in here?
Paige: I was just trying to comfort her.
Kevin: By letting her know it's ok to die? By offering to help? What the hell's the matter with you?

Joe: Hey, you two.
Joe: How are you?
Gabriela: We're going to miss you guys.
Mary: You know, there's a lot of good you could do right here in Port Charles.
Joe and Frank: Mom --
Joe: Come on, please.
Mary: Ok, ok, ok. Can't blame a mom for trying.
Jamal: Sorry we're late. We got a little bit held up.
Gabriela: What's going on with you two?
Frank: All right, all right, listen up. I can't let you guys go without one of my famous Irish toasts.
Frank: And, Vic, don't worry, it's a short one. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be at your backs. May your hearts be light. And luck be with you each morning and every night.
Karen: Hear, hear.
Joe: Hey, cheers.
Gabriela: Did you remember your goodbye present to me, don't you? To get along with Jamal and to stay out of trouble?
Ricky: Yeah. Piece of cake.
Chris: You know, I could always take a hit out on Amy. What are friends for, right?
Eve: The truth is if Ian and I were getting along, a thousand Amys wouldn't matter.
Chris: Yeah, but she's not helping.
Chris: Uh-huh. So what exactly went wrong between you and Dr. Wonderful?
Eve: I don't know. It's like there's something broken between us and neither one of us knows how to fix it. You know, we'll be going along great, and then one of us will push the other one's buttons and then this terrible anger comes out, especially from me.
Chris: What can I say? Love stinks.
Eve: Well, it didn't used to.
Chris: So, what are you telling me? You've fallen out of love? Is it time for me to swoop in and make my move?
Chris: Have you fallen out of love with Thornhart?
Eve: I will always, always love Ian. I just wish I could figure out a way to show him. Hey. So sorry.
Eve: Good luck to both of you, ok? Come here, you.
Gabriela: Oh, thank you.
Joe: Thanks, Eve.
Eve: Oh, gosh. Your family must be kind of mad at you, huh?
Gabriela: Well, we had breakfast with everyone this morning, and they're ok.
Eve: Well, good, good.
Gabriela: Hey, Eve, you know, I hope you understand why I resigned. I mean, I'm sorry to leave you so short-staffed.
Eve: Well, as your chief resident, I am very mad at you. But as your friend, I'm just glad you and Joe found each other.
Joe: Not as glad as I am.
Gabriela: I finally have the man that I love, and I'm hanging on to him. It took us so long to finally get together.
Eve: Yeah. I know how that feels. Good luck.
Eve's Voice: Ian, it took us so long to admit that we loved each other. What are you thinking?
Ian's Voice: There's something I have to tell you.
Eve's Voice: Tell me. What is it?
Ian's Voice: Merry Christmas.
Eve's Voice: Merry Christmas.
Eve: I didn't even have to tell you that I loved you. You could feel it. We both could.
Ian: Sometimes you think the past is buried, and then something like this happens with Christina that brings it all back again.
Amy: What, you mean Africa?
Ian: Yeah. The children under my care had the same illness, with their faith in me, and I couldn't help them because a monster named Harris stole the drugs we needed.
Amy: No one could be that cruel.
Ian: Well, he was. The same man that kidnapped Eve and me. You know, those children, they never had a chance. Died in my arms, one by one. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you.
Amy: No, it's just so horrible. I -- I can't imagine it happening.
Ian: Well, it did. It did. What about you? You must have gone to hell and back to end up in the Witness Protection Program.
Amy: You could say that.
Ian: It couldn't have been easy to fake your own death.
Amy: It's easier than really dying.
Ian: Well, regardless, whatever happened to you, it's made you the woman that you are today -- strong, honest. Amy?
Paige: You're twisting what I said to Christina, Kevin.
Kevin: Well, then, you better explain it to me.
Paige: I just remembered what you said when you were sick and dreamed that I was with you -- that it was a comfort. I was so worried about Christina that I thought I could do the same for her.
Kevin: By encouraging her to die?
Paige: No, just to let go of her fear because I was here with her if she were afraid. That's it. Kevin, you've got to believe me.
Kevin: Well, that's getting harder and harder. And now Lucy --
Paige: Doesn't like me. Look, that's understandable -- I mean, given you and I were once lovers.
Kevin: That's not it. She has a gut feeling about you.
Paige: And you now believe her? Kevin, you know me so well.
Kevin: I used to, and now I don't anymore. Paige, I don't have a clue what you're up to.
Paige: Ed explained all that to you.
Kevin: And I don't know anything specific about witness protection or what you did or who's after you. And frankly, Paige, I'm beginning to wonder if you're the one being protected or we're the ones who need protection from you.
Colleen: We took up a collection and got you these, Gabby.
Gabriela: Oh --
Alex: Hiking boots.
Deneice: For the mountain. And if you run into any of those gorgeous, sexy mountain men, you give them our number.
Colleen: Especially the gorgeous ones.
Gabriela: Oh, my God, I'm going to miss you guys so much. Thanks.
Ricky: Hey. It doesn't seem fair -- me getting to town just when you're leaving it.
Gabriela: You know, I'm always a phone call away, for both you and Jamal. And he's going through some bad stuff right now -- you know, Valerie's death and breaking up with Ali. So will you look after him, please?
Ricky: Sure. If he doesn't kill me first.
Jamal: What? What? What's up with you?
Jack: Someone's got to watch your back.
Jamal: Look, I am right back where I belong, working those stupid cons in on the fast track.
Jack: What is that crap, huh? "Working the cons," "fast track" -- it's not you. It sounds like some stupid line from some movie of the week.
Jamal: Hey -- well, you know, from now on it's my life, Jack. Mine.
Jack: You got to be kidding me.
Jamal: Yeah, well, you know what? That life before, with Ali -- that was a joke. Ok? Some kind of stupid fantasy.
Jack: Jamal, listen to me. All right, you tried to con some guy who's connected to the mob out of money. All right, that's not a very smart move.
Jamal: Yeah, but you gave it all back, didn't you, Jackie boy? You made it all better, didn't you?
Jack: Yeah, to save your butt.
Jamal: Yeah, well, thanks to you, now I got to find another way to make some more green.
Jack: You still got the bike shop. Why don't you go over there and --
Jamal: Look, man, I told you, that was another life, ok? Now, I'm going to go over there and I'm going to say bye to my sister, so don't follow me. Look -- there's your screwed-up brother, Chris, over there. Maybe he needs your help, ok, because I don't.
Chris: Hey. What's with you? You look like you just lost your best friend.
Jack: Yeah. Yeah, something like that.
Chris: Actually, I'm kind of worried about a friend of mine, too. Hey, when I stayed with you at Christmas, you seemed to know your way around cameras pretty well.
Jack: Yeah. I mean, it's kind of a hobby of mine.
Chris: Look at this picture. See the girl there? There's a guy standing behind her. The image is too fuzzy to make it out. You think you could make that clearer? I don't know, blow it up or something?
Jack: Yeah. I mean, I'm going to need a computer to re-image this, but --
Chris: Ok. Whatever you need, bud.
Jack: Oh, whoa, whoa. Stop.
Jack: What's the scam?
Chris: There's no scam. I told you, I'm worried about a friend, just like you. Come on. Jack, it's for Eve, ok? I'm doing this for Eve. Please.
Jack: Yeah. All right. I'll take a look at the picture.
Chris: Thanks. I'll find out the truth, Amy, one way or another.
Amy: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to break down like that. That's -- it's the last thing that you need.
Ian: It's ok. You're in a tough spot going from town to town -- no home, no roots.
Amy: I don't usually get this upset about my situation.
Ian: Well, we're all allowed to let our guard down sometimes. Sorry if I made it worse by talking about it.
Amy: No, it's just I'm not usually a crier.
Ian: It's ok.
Amy: I can't do this anymore.
Ian: What do you mean?
Amy: I just can't do this anymore.
Paige: If I thought I was bringing trouble to you or your family, I never would have come to your door.
Kevin: Paige, if you're in witness protection and you come to my home, you bring trouble to my door.
Paige: Nobody knew anything about me or Amy until you and Ian started checking up on us.
Kevin: I guess we didn't do much of a job of that, did we?
Paige: What does that mean?
Kevin: I know less about you now than I did when I started. That's a little frightening. And then I come in here and I see you telling Christina that it's all right to let go, that it's all right to die?
Paige: What exactly are you accusing me of, Kevin? Can you look me in the eye and tell me you honestly believe that I want Christina to die?
Kevin: I don't know.
Paige: You do know I care for you. You know that. And I care for that little girl, so much so that I would sit by her bed to try and make her feel better. That's what I was trying to do.
Kevin: You say all the right things. I look at you and I see the woman I was once so close to. But there is something wrong, and I can't put my finger on it. You care about me that much? Then it's time to tell me the truth. Look me in the eye and tell me the truth.
Joe: Listen, everybody, I hate to leave this party, but we got a plane to catch, so --
Frank: Hey, you and Gabby take good care of each other, all right?
Joe: And thanks for helping Gabby and I to get back together. I owe you big-time.
Karen: Just be happy, ok?
Frank: If he's half as happy with Gabby as I am with you, he'll be a lucky guy.
Gabriela: So I guess this is it, huh?
Jamal: Yep. So I guess this is bye, sis.
Gabriela: You can do better than that. Good things can happen, Jamal, even when when you're at your lowest.
Gabriela: Come on, look at me and Joe -- everything we went through? It can happen.
Ricky: All right, come on, guys. Let's roll. I'm taking you two to the airport in style. I borrowed Mrs. Barrington's limo.
Joe: Well, you did ask her, didn't you?
Ricky: Yeah. Come on, let's go, let's go.
Jamal: Bye, sis.
Deneice: Goodbye, you guys.
Victor and Karen: Goodbye.
Karen: Have fun.
Victor: Drive carefully.
Jamal: Good things can happen.
Paige: I'd love to tell you everything, Kevin. Don't you think this is eating me up inside? But I can't. You know that.
Paige: Kevin, please, believe me. I can't tell you what happened to me or where I'm going.
Kevin: Save it. I guess I'll never know what you did or what you want. And, frankly, I don't care. I don't want you around Christina or Lucy or me ever again, because I don't want you misunderstanding my words or my intentions.
Paige: I only ever wanted to love you, Kevin. That's all I ever wanted. I do love you.
Kevin: But not enough to tell me the truth.
Paige: You'd never believe the truth, never in a million years.
Kevin: Then leave us alone.
Kevin: It's ok, Christina. I'm never going to let anything or anyone ever hurt you. Ever.
Paige: Oh, no. This wasn't how it was meant to be.
Amy: Only three more weeks. I can't be having these feelings with only three more weeks. You have got to pull yourself together, Amy.
Ian: I didn't see you standing there.
Eve: That's pretty obvious.
Ian: We were just talking. It's not what you think.
Eve: Well, it doesn't matter what I think or what your intentions were. Not anymore.
Ian: What does that mean?
Eve: I came back here to tell you that I love you. And I thought I could give you the answer that you wanted about us, that we could make it work and that I'll try.
Ian: And so will I.
Eve: Well, no, we have to stop fooling ourselves, Ian. Every time I see you, I think I can do this -- We can do this. But then one of us does or says something wrong, and I just get so angry. It starts welling up in me again, and I hate it. I hate this. It's not supposed to be this difficult between us, is it?
Ian: No, and it doesn't have to be.
Eve: Ian, I hate the person that I've become in this marriage. And to save us the pain, I have your answer.
Ian: Eve, please don't.
Eve: No. Our marriage isn't working. And one of us has to have the guts to say it. It's over between us, Ian. It's over.
>> On the next "Port Charles" --
Eve: I've made up my mind. I'm filing for divorce.
Livvie: Hey. Sorry to bust up your lip lock, but I was just wondering if you care that Jamal's trying to kill himself.
