Ricky: You know what you're doing?

Casey: Can't you tell?

Ricky: I don't mean that. You sure you want to do this here?

Casey: It's a little late for that now, don't you think?

Ricky: Well, I just thought that there's this little place kind of near here.

Casey: How long do you think it's going to take to get there?

Ricky: I don't know -- five, ten minutes.

Casey: That long, huh? Well, you know what I can do in five, ten minutes? A little of this, a little of that.

Ricky: You know what, Case? I'll tell you, you need to stop that or --

Casey: Or what, huh? Are we going to do it or are we just going to talk about it?

Paige: "And then the mommy and the daddy and the beautiful little girl lived happily ever after." Just the way it was meant to be. Isn't that a perfect ending, Christina? I think so, too.

Kevin: Hello? Well, I guess I don't have to ask how things are going up here.

Paige: Hey. Welcome home.

Kevin: Thank you. It's nice to be home.

Paige: Yes.

Kevin: Hi, Christina. I missed you.

Paige: She's probably a little tired. We've been having so much fun today, haven't we? Yes.

Kevin: Well, thanks for watching her. Lucy told me this was all your idea?

Paige: Well, I thought you two needed some time alone. Speaking of which, what are you doing here? Go back.

Kevin: Oh, actually, Lucy had to go pick up Serena. She wasn't feeling well, so she went to bring her home from a slumber party.

Paige: Oh. What a shame.

Kevin: Oh, it's just a little stomach ache. She'll be fine. In the meantime, little one, Mommy will be home soon, but that means I get to tuck you in tonight.

Christina: No, I don't want you.

Colleen: I'm so sorry we had to page you, but Mr. Neely insisted on seeing you.

Eve: I know, he can get a little hysterical, but he's calmer now and hopefully, he'll sleep through the night.

Colleen: Great. And at least you have some of the evening left.

Eve: Which I plan on making the very most of. In fact, my very handsome, gorgeous husband is waiting for me in the on-call room to take me out to dinner.

Colleen: You have a great time.

Eve: We will.

Jamal: Eve? Eve?

Eve: Yeah?

Jamal: It's Gabby. We need your help, please.

Eve: Oh, my God. Gabby, what's wrong?

Gabriela: It's nothing. Jamal's overreacting.

Jamal: She got hit in her lower back, ok?

Eve: Whoa, whoa, whoa, she got hit? Colleen, get me a wheelchair, please.

Jamal: I -- I got in a fight with this guy the other day, and she kind of jumped in between us.

Eve: You got punched, Gabby?

Gabriela: It was an accident.

Jamal: She --

Eve: Sit.

Jamal: She said she was all right, but the pain got a lot worse, a lot worse overnight.

Gabriela: Yeah, I also said that I would know if there was something seriously wrong. I am a nurse.

Eve: Uh-huh, and there's a reason why doctors and nurses do not treat themselves, ok? You only have one kidney. You've got to be careful.

Gabriela: Ok, but it just --

Eve: No, no, no, no, no. Ok, no buts. Let's get her into a room and start an exam, ok?

Jamal: Ok.

Gabriela: Fine. And then you'll see that there's nothing wrong.

[Gabriela groans]

Eve: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa -- Gabby, Gabby, Gabby, that was not nothing. Hey, listen, this may be a little more serious than you think.

Amy: Ian?

Ian: Amy --

Amy: Ow! Ow!

Ian: Oh, I'm sorry.

Amy: Be -- be careful.

Ian: Hang on, I was just stuck in your hair.

Amy: Yeah, be careful.

Ian: I got it. Ok. Sorry.

Amy: Wow. That was some greeting.

Ian: Yeah, I didn't know you were in here, it's so dark.

Amy: Yeah, well, I know how that is.

Ian: No, I -- what I meant was --

Amy: You're sorry.

Ian: I want to apologize because I --

Amy: You --

Ian: I thought you were Eve.

Amy: Did you, Ian? Did you really?

Ricky: You are so hot.

Casey: Oh, what are you waiting for, lover boy?

Ricky: Wait, wait, wait. What if somebody walks in here, huh?

Casey: Don't you know? Danger of getting caught is half the fun.

Ricky: You are something else, you know that, Casey? I have never met anybody like you.

Casey: Got that right.

Ricky: So, we're really going to do this, huh?

Casey: I can't think of anything else to stop us. You do have a thingy, right?

Ricky: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I got one.

[Pager beeps]

Ricky: Oh. No way. Oh, this can't be happening, no.

Casey: Just ignore it.

Ricky: I can't. If I blow off Mrs. B., my butt is out the door and then we can kiss that necklace and our future plans goodbye.

Casey: I'd rather kiss you.

Ricky: Ok, ok, ok, ok, ok. Hold on, hold on, all right? Let me just check this. Maybe I can stall her, ok? Oh, oh, oh, oh, man, I got to get out of here, all right?

Casey: What?

Ricky: Get your clothes on. It's my sister. Something's happening to her. I got to get to the hospital.

Casey: Well, wait, wait, wait, wait. Let me go with you.

Eve: Colleen, let's get her into a room and take some vitals.

Jamal: Hey, what do you think's wrong with her?

Eve: I'm not sure. We're going to take a look at her stats and go from there.

Colleen: All the exam rooms are full, but the luxury suite's available. Nobody's using it.

Eve: That's perfect, that's fine. Would you do me a favor and go to the on-call room and tell Ian that I'm going to be a while?

Colleen: Right.

Eve: Thanks. Here we go.

Ian: I'm sorry. I don't know what you're implying.

Amy: Oh. I think you do.

Ian: No. Like I tried to explain to you, I came in here looking for Eve --

Amy: Uh-huh.

Ian: Because she was supposed to meet me here, and being as dark as it is --

Amy: Well, I don't usually bother with the lights when it's just me.

Ian: Ok, I know. I just -- I saw --

Amy: Uh-huh.

Ian: The shape of a woman and I assumed it --

Amy: You assumed? You mean you don't even know your own wife in the dark?

Ian: I know my wife in the dark. Of course I know her in the dark. I know her in the dark and out of the dark and just -- I'm saying that I --

Amy: You're saying?

Ian: I made a mistake, that's all, all right?

Amy: Well, you make a lot of those, Ian.

Ian: What's that supposed to mean?

Amy: Well, how many times have you said to me, "I'm sorry, Amy, what I did was just a mistake?"

Ian: Are you keeping track of my mistakes, woman?

Amy: I'm a shrink. I notice things like that. Like when you walked in on me when I was undressing -- a mistake.

Ian: It was.

Amy: And when we were in the car together after the accident, your hand just happened to mistakenly, of course, wander a bit.

Ian: Amy, here's the thing --

Colleen: Dr. Thornhart?

Ian: Yeah? What? Colleen, how are you?

Colleen: I -- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt.

Ian: You didn't -- you didn't interrupt anything. Just -- what -- how -- what? What -- what is it? What?

Colleen: Eve just wanted me to tell you that she got hung up and she'll be a little while, that's all. Thanks.

Ian: Perfect. Thank you. Great.

Amy: Relax, Ian. There's no harm done.

Ian: I'm relaxed. This is me relaxed and I know there's no harm done.

Amy: Look, Ian, I'm sorry if I unnerve you.

Ian: You know what? Frankly, yes, you do, and I think you enjoy it.

Kevin: Christina, how about I tell you a story? Would you like that?

Christina: No, I don't want you.

Paige: Ooh, sweetheart, Kevin's only trying to be nice. He wants to be your friend. He likes you. And you know what? I think if you gave him a chance, you'd like him, too. Do you know why I like him so much? He tells the best stories of anybody and that's not all. He makes the funniest faces and does magic tricks and he can draw a picture that looks just like you. Do you want to see that? Yes?

Kevin: You would? Well, ok, why don't you just sit right there and we'll get started.

Christina: Paige sits, too?

Kevin: Oh, of course, honey. Paige loves to have her picture painted.

Paige: Especially by such a wonderful artist. Ok, let's move. There we go. How's that?

Kevin: That's perfect. Boy, do you two make a pretty picture.

Paige: Why, thank you.

Kevin: Ok, just hold that pose.

Paige: Sit still, sweetie. Kevin's trying to draw our picture.

Kevin: She's pretty fascinated with your watch.

Paige: Yeah, I know.

Kevin: Here, why don't you give it to me? I'll put it away.

Paige: Um --

Kevin: Unless there's some reason you don't want me to.

Paige: It's not that I don't want you to take it. It's just that it has a sentimental value for me.

Kevin: Well, I wasn't going to hock it. I was just going to put it out of reach. She seems pretty determined to get it from you.

Paige: Well, I mean, maybe she's just a bit restless. I mean, you know kids and sitting still. Would you like to take a short break? Yes.

Kevin: Well, what do you think, Christina? You want to play with your toys?

Christina: Watch.

Paige: Yes, sweetie, that's right, that's my watch. You know what? We forgot all about your juice box over there. Look, you want some? It's right over there. There you go.

Kevin: I don't think I've ever seen her so taken with something before.

Paige: It's just a watch. I'm sure she's forgotten all about it.

Christina: Watch.

Kevin: You were saying?

Paige: She just heard us talking about it.

Kevin: Nonetheless, maybe I should just go ahead and take it. I mean, lest we tempt her. I'll be careful, I promise. Look.

Paige: Thank you.

Kevin: It's right there, safe and sound.

Paige: Thank you.

Kevin: No, thank you. I'm really grateful for the way you've been helping out with Christina.

Paige: Oh, it's nothing.

Kevin: Nothing? Paige, that's the first semi-breakthrough I've had with her. You've really got a way with kids.

Paige: Well, I love them.

Kevin: You'd make a wonderful mother.

Paige: I'm afraid it's a bit too late for that.

Kevin: No, that's not true. Look at Lucy -- she adopted Christina, she's never been happier. So, maybe someday --

Paige: I could have a little goddess like her.

Kevin: Why not?

Paige: Well, yes, why not? I mean, I guess miracles do happen. I believe that.

Kevin: Oh, I know they do. And when it does, you'll make an incredible mom.

Paige: Thank you. That means so much coming from you. It means everything.

Paige: Oh.

Kevin: Uh-oh. Looks like someone's about ready to conk out.

Paige: Oh. Well, why don't you let me put her to bed?

Kevin: That's a good idea.

Paige: Yes.

Kevin: I guess we can pick up the painting tomorrow.

Paige: Oh, we'd like that, wouldn't we, Christina? Yes, we would, but now it's off to bed.

Kevin: Good night, sweetheart.

Paige: Ooh. "Night, Daddy." Bye.

Kevin: Bye.

Jamal: What's it say?

Eve: She's running a fever.

Jamal: Well, that can't be good.

Ricky: Gabby, what's going on? What happened?

Gabriela: Thanks, Jamal. Now I got both of you freaking out?

Jamal: I was worried, ok? I thought he should probably know about it.

Ricky: All right, would somebody tell me what the hell is going on?

Jamal: I got into a fight yesterday, and Gabby got in between it.

Ricky: You what?

Gabriela: Ricky, it was an accident.

Jamal: She got hit pretty hard in her lower back.

Casey: Oh, my God.

Ricky: So -- so what's the deal, Doc?

Eve: Well, under normal circumstances, I wouldn't be so concerned.

Ricky: So why now?

Eve: Well, you know she's only got one kidney.

Casey: Oh, great, and now someone ruined that one?

Eve: Hey, hold on. Let's not jump to conclusions, ok?

Ricky: Ok, so, meaning that it's not so bad, she's going to be all right?

Eve: I don't know. I am concerned that she may have seriously bruised or inflamed her one remaing kidney.

Ricky: You know, that's just great, huh? It wasn't enough that you made her donate that kidney to that bastard kid of yours, but now you got to trash the one she's got left?

Jamal: You better step off, boy, before you get hurt.

Ricky: Or what, Jamal, you going to put me in the hospital like you did my sister, huh?

Jamal: She's my sister, too.

Ricky: Yeah, for what, the last 20 minutes?

Jamal: She's my blood.

Ricky: Oh, that didn't seem to matter much when you gave up your kid!

Gabriela: Ricky --

Jamal: Look, why don't we take this out right now?

Ricky: Yeah, let's go right now.

Casey: You don't know who you're messing with.

Gabriela: Stop it, all of you! I don't need this right now.

Eve: She is right. Listen, Ricky, I don't know you, ok? Jamal, I know you really well. Do you want to make this tougher on Gabby than it has to be?

Jamal: I'm cool, all right? Sorry.

Ricky: Yeah, I'm sorry, too, Gigi. It's just every time that I think about what this guy did to you --

Gabriela: Ricky, I told you it was an accident. Jamal didn't mean --

Eve: Hey -- all right.

Jamal: Whoa.

Ricky: Hey, sis, you all right?

Eve: Hey, hey, hey.

Gabriela: Oh, it's just -- the pain, it's just getting worse.

Eve: Ok, ok, just relax, ok? Calm down.

Gabriela: Eve, what if you're right? What if I ruined my only kidney?

Eve: Hey, you don't know that.

Gabriela: Oh --

Colleen: All right. We're ready for Gabby.

Eve: Ok, good. Come on over here, Colleen.

Ricky: Whoa. Ready for what?

Eve: We're going to run some tests and see what we find.

Ricky: All right, cool, Gigi, I'm going with you, all right?

Jamal: Yeah, I'm coming, too.

Eve: No, you're not. You're both staying right here.

Jamal: Come on, Eve --

Ricky: I'm family --

Eve: No arguments! Now let's go.

Amy: Ok, I admit it. I can't help but find the situation a little amusing.

Ian: Yeah, I can see that.

Amy: Uh-huh. But it's not like I planned this. I mean, it wasn't my idea to come in in the on-call room and play footsie.

Ian: Hey, hey, hey, hey. I explained that.

Amy: Oh, right. You thought I was your wife.

Ian: All right. You may not have planned this, per se --

Amy: But --

Ian: But --

Amy: What?

Ian: Well, you're the one who wants to have an affair, right?

Amy: Whoa.

Ian: Whoa, what? What are you doing?

Amy: I'm making room for your ego.

Ian: You're making room for my ego?

Amy: Yeah. I told you that I would never act on that, that I respected your marriage. Now you made me sorry I told you at all. I should've known this. I should've known it would've gotten weird even though you promised it wouldn't.

Ian: Well, it is a weird situation.

Amy: And how's that?

Ian: We got very close in a very short period of time.

Amy: Yeah, I'd say that -- especially since we nearly died together.

Ian: Yeah, so --

Amy: Mm-hmm.

Ian: So there is a connection.

Amy: Maybe even a mutual attraction? Hmm?

Ian: Yeah, maybe so, but that doesn't mean that I would deliberately put you in a situation that is --

Amy: Compromising?

Ian: Yeah.

Amy: I never said "deliberately."

Ian: No, but you're insinuating.

Amy: Look, I don't know about you, but I am perfectly capable of keeping myself under control. If I weren't --

Ian: If you weren't what?

Amy: When you had me in your arms, I would've kissed you. The thought did cross my mind.

Ian: You really do try to push my buttons, don't you?

Amy: Well, it hasn't been hard. Oh, what the hell, Ian. Maybe we should just go for it and get it over with.

Ian: What are you talking about?

Amy: I am talking about one really hot, wet, juicy kiss, just to get it out of our systems. And we will probably find out we're not missing anything at all. So what do you think? Are you game?

Ricky: Hey.

Jamal: Hey. Look, man, I can't just sit around here and wait. I'm going to go find Gabby and see what's up, all right?

Ricky: What's up is you made her donate a kidney, and now her other one is messed up because of you.

Jamal: Look, man, I don't have time for you. All right?

Casey: Don't be an idiot.

Ricky: Just get out of my way, Casey.

Casey: Look, I saw you take the scalpel, man. Don't do it.

Ricky: Just stay out of it!

Casey: Not in this lifetime.

Ed's Voice: Someone close to one of you will die. That's why there's a fifth chair. You'll help them cross over and bring them back with you.

Amy: Stop. I can't do this.

Ian: Amy, what?

Amy: I know -- I know this was my idea -- the kiss, the whole thing.

Ian: I wasn't going to kiss you.

Amy: No, it was a mistake. I -- I can't!

Ian: Relax, would you? Nothing happened. But I do have a question for you.

Amy: No, Ian. No questions. Just leave me alone!

Kevin's Voice: What does this watch have to do with anything?

Victor's Voice: Well, it turns out we were absolutely right. The light was seen only here in Port Charles. And there was nothing weather-related, and the government didn't know anything about it.

Frank's Voice: We investigated the area where the light hit. There was nothing but scorched earth.

Victor's Voice: I tried to take the watch apart, but I couldn't. The metal is incredibly hard, and I didn't recognize it. So I sent it away to get it analyzed and I just got the report. It turns out that it's not an alloy. It's solid metal and it's not made of any element found on this planet.

Ian: It was the same watch.

Christina: But I don't want to go to bed.

Paige: Oh. Well, how about if I read you two bedtime stories?

Christina: Yay.

Paige: Yay. Oh, this feels so right, just like family. No matter what happens, this is where I'm meant to be. Don't you think so? Yes.

Kevin: Just an ordinary watch. With a vibrating alarm. Don't see that too often.

Kevin: This is the watch Victor found in the woods. Paige took it.

>> on the next "Port Charles" --

Jamal: I'm going to go find Gabby and see what's up, all right?

Ricky: What's up is you made her donate a kidney and now her other one is messed up because of you.

Amy: It's not supposed to be like this with him.

Paige: I thought you said you didn't know Ian before you came here.
