Ian: Sit down, sit down.
Ian: Are you sure the baby's coming?
Eve: Yes, I'm sure. It's definitely coming.
Ian: Maybe it's a false alarm with all the excitement and that.
Karen: I'll check you out just in case.
Ian: It's too soon, Karen.
Eve: I know it's too soon. It's definitely too soon. My water just broke.
Ian: Ok. Calm down. Everything's under control. I will take you up to the L and D and check you out.
Karen: Oh, wait a minute. You'll check her out?
Ian: Can you please go to the loft and get us some things just in case?
Lucy: No, Ian, that's ok. I'll go to the gift shop. I really need to shop now.
Eve: Listen, everybody. Forget about my stuff. Don't worry about my stuff.
Jamal: Look, whatever you need, Ian, I'm here.
Ian: Ok. Her robe is on the bathroom door. And, Frank, can you call the labor room, make sure it's ready?
Karen: Ian, Ian, listen to me. I need you to be the daddy here, not the doctor.
Ian: I'm not just going to sit here and -- and be the daddy.
Frank: Ian, Ian, you know that she's in good hands with Karen, all right?
Karen: Can you walk?
Eve: Yeah. I'll be ok.
Frank: All right.
Karen: Ok. I need you to take a deep breath and meet us upstairs, ok? Can somebody page Dr. Miranda?
Karen: The neonatal specialist. She should be standing by just in case. The front desk has her number.
Kevin: I'll do it.
Kevin: See you later.
Lucy: Ok, ok. Oh.
Ian: All right.
Lucy: Ok. Hey --
Lucy: Deep breath.
Lucy: She's going to be fine, really. It's going to be fine, really.
Ian: It's too soon, Lucy.
Lucy: No, it's -- it's ok. It's ok.
Jamal: Hey -- for what it's worth, I was two months early myself.
Alison: Yeah, and look at him now.
Ian: That's not -- right. Father. How are you?
Father Vicente: I'm well, thanks.
Ian: Ok. My wife, Eve, she's having a baby. She's having our baby boy, and I'm a little -- I've got -- can you say a prayer for us?
Father Vicente: Of course. We'll all say a prayer.
Jamal: Yeah, next time we see you, you'll be a daddy.
Ian: A daddy? Yeah, I will. Ok. I --
Ian: All right.
Caleb's Voice: Our souls are bound together, my love. It will never be over for us. Never.
Jack: Livvie? Livvie? Hey, Livvie -- what's wrong?
Eve: I told you the baby was coming. Nobody believed me.
Frank: We do now.
Karen: Well, your water breaking was a pretty good sign.
Eve: That's not a good sign. It's too soon. This shouldn't be happening yet.
Karen: Eve, lots of babies are born early.
Ian: Yeah, six weeks is not that early. Are you ok? You all right?
Ian: Do you want an epidural? You feel like an epidural --
Frank: You sure?
Eve: Yeah. If I can vanquish a vampire, I should be able to -- oh!
Ian: Where's Dr. Miranda?
Kevin: We're still waiting to hear.
Colleen: I've tried every number I've got. Here.
Karen: Well, let's start trying some others. Ok, we need a neonatologist in here right now.
Eve: That's bad. The baby's in danger.
Ian: No, no, it's just precaution.
Karen: Ian's right, Eve. No need to panic.
Eve: Right, right, you're right. I know you're right.
Lucy: Positive thoughts. You know, that's what I always say, Eve -- Doc, right? Positive thoughts. It'll help.
Kevin: Lucy, I'm sure Eve is going to be just fine.
Eve: You guys can come in. Come on in.
Lucy: Oh, I want to come in. Are you sure we're not imposing? Oh, this is great, you know. I'm just so excited. In a few short hours, you --
Lucy: Minutes, minutes -- just minutes -- there'll be a whole new life in the universe.
Kevin: Hey, a whole brand-new family!
Lucy: And it's going to be such a wonderful, cute, perfect family, you and your little baby.
Ian: Wait, wait, wait -- I just remembered something.
Ian: We're not a family, not the way we thought.
Eve: What are you talking about?
Ian: Well, if Michael's not a real priest, it means the ceremony was not a --
Eve: Oh, my God! We're not really married!
Ian: No, we're not.
Kevin: But that's no big deal. You can just have another ceremony after the baby's born.
Lucy: Yeah, a great big one and invite us, and I can buy a new dress.
Eve: I guess that would be ok. It's just --
Ian: No, it was important to us that our son be born into a real family.
Eve: But we are a real family.
Lucy: Right. You just don't need some silly piece of paper to prove it.
Ian: It's not about a piece of paper, Lucy. It's about what it stands for. I -- I don't want our son thinking for one moment that we didn't have the commitment to each other, ok?
Eve: Right. And you know what? We're going to tell him just as soon as we get the chance.
Ian: As -- as soon as we get the chance? You're not listening to me.
Eve: No, you don't understand. There's a little more pressing commitment that I have to deal with right now!
Ian: Ok, ok, just breathe. Just breathe.
Frank: The contractions are getting closer.
Karen: Colleen, let's prep her for delivery.
Colleen: I'm on it.
Kevin: Oh, I think we better wait outside, Lucy.
Lucy: Ok. Ok, good. Positive thoughts, happy thoughts, happy.
Kevin: Come out here.
Kevin: Lucy, I'm sure everything's going to be just fine.
Lucy: I know. I know. It's just I'm so excited, but I kind of feel bad at the same time. Ian -- he's going on and on about how they're not married and they really wanted to be before they had the baby.
Kevin: I know, I know. After everything they've been through, it's really kind of a shame.
Lucy: There's just really no time, is there?
Kevin: Well, no. She's in labor.
Ian: Kevin. Lucy, hi. I know this may not be the best time, but I got a huge favor to ask you.
Jack: Livvie, answer me. What's wrong?
Jack: Are you -- you sure you're ok?
Livvie: Yeah, I'm fine. I -- oh. I guess I'm just a little tired, that's all.
Jack: I think it's more than that.
Livvie: What do you mean, Jack?
Jack: Are you sure you're not still worried about Caleb? Yeah, you are.
Livvie: I guess I am.
Jack: Hey. You don't have to be. It's over. Caleb's gone. You have to start thinking about us -- me and you, our future, and how much I love you.
Livvie: I love you, too.
Jack: Our love is what beat him, and don't you forget that. All right? We won, and nothing is ever going to come between us. Promise.
Livvie: Jack, there's something I need to tell you.
Alison: Livvie, Jack --
Jack: Hey. What's up?
Alison: Have you guys heard about Eve? She's having her baby.
Jack: Right now? Are you kidding me?
Livvie: Wow. I thought she wasn't due for another month.
Alison: I know.
Jamal: Well, apparently the kid doesn't realize that because he's on his way out right now.
Jack: Wow. What a night, huh?
Jamal: Yeah. It's almost over. Look -- sun's coming up.
Alison: Hey, I've got a good idea. Why don't we go back to our place and I will make you guys the best breakfast you've ever had.
Jack: Ah. You know what? That's the best idea I've heard yet. Let's do that.
Jamal: All right, cool.
Jack: Well, let's go, then.
Jamal: Good. Let's do it. You guys ever had Ali's blueberry pancakes?
Jack: Blueberry's my favorite.
Livvie: Goodbye, Caleb. You have no control over me. Not anymore.
Jack: Hey? You ready?
Livvie: I am now.
Lucy: Are you serious? Absolutely nothing at all? All right, well, thanks for nothing. For pete's sakes. Drat!
Lucy: Oh. Hi. Listen, I stopped at two churches on the way to pick up my fresh clothes -- nothing. I have called everybody, and absolutely nothing. Did you have any luck?
Kevin: No. No. I guess that's that.
Lucy: Darn. I really, really wanted to help Ian.
Kevin: I know, I know. We've done everything we can. Unless --
Lucy: Ooh. I love when you say "unless." Unless what?
Kevin: Lucy, we've looked everywhere except under our own noses. Come on.
Lucy: What? Oh! Ok, wait! Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!
Kevin: You're stealing flowers, Lucy.
Lucy: Shh. Don't tell anyone. Ooh! -- No one will notice. Oh, for heaven's sakes!
Alison: Ok. Who is ready for seconds?
Jamal: Right here. Right here, right here.
Jamal: Me first, me first.
Alison: Thank you. I'm so flattered.
Jack: Alison, this is really good, but, honestly, airplane food would taste good right now.
Alison: Oh, my goodness! I almost dropped that.
Jack: I got that.
Alison: Oh, well, thank you. There goes being flattered, Jack.
Jamal: Hey, hey, hey. Come here, come here, come here. You're still my favorite cook.
Alison: Thank you.
Livvie: You know, the only thing I can cook is toast.
Jack: Hmm. I've never noticed.
Livvie: Speaking of toast -- I want to make a toast. Stand up. Let's go.
Jack: Toast, toast, toast.
Jamal: All right.
Livvie: Ok. Here's to winning, kicking Caleb's butt, and finally getting our lives back.
Jack: Back to normal.
Jamal: I'll drink to that, baby.
Alison: Hear, hear.
Jamal: Hear, hear.
Jack: Ah. Hey, it is awesome, drinking something as normal as orange juice, you know? Jeez.
Livvie: Who would've thought normal would feel this incredible?
Jamal: Oh. Speaking of normal, while we're on the subject -- I want to get that bike shop open as soon as possible.
Jack: Yeah, man. I'm ready to get back to work.
Livvie: You know what I've missed most about the bike shop? The cappuccino machine.
Alison: Oh, I know.
Jack: Yeah, you know, I like that thing. That thing's good.
Alison: Hey, we should go get it and fire it up.
Livvie: Why not?
Jack: Why not?
Alison: Jamal, do you want to help me bring it over?
Jamal: Ah -- no. This speaker's still out.
Jack: Hey -- hey, Alison, I'll help you.
Alison: You will?
Livvie: Yeah, and I'll start cleaning up.
Alison: No. No, you don't have to do that.
Livvie: Hey, I don't mind.
Alison: Are you sure?
Livvie: I'm positive.
Alison: Ok. Then you ready?
Jack: All right.
Jamal: So, Livvie, how you feeling? I mean, with this -- this whole Caleb mess going around? I mean, I know it's had to be harder on you than anybody else.
Livvie: Well, it was just as hard on Jack. When I think about all the stuff I've put him through --
Jamal: Livvie, Livvie, come on. It's not your fault. That's over. Done.
Livvie: Yeah, you're right. It is over and -- oh, I just -- I can't wait to start making it up to him, you know?
Jamal: You know what? If I know Jack -- and I do -- he's really just happy to have you here. And you know what? He really loves you.
Livvie: Yeah, well, I love him.
Jack: Dang it. You know what? I just remembered the cappuccino machine doesn't have any wheels. We took it off when we set it up inside.
Alison: Oh, that's right. I forgot.
Jack: No big deal. We have the dolly. Let's use the dolly.
Alison: Well, come on now. A big, strong man like you ought to be able to move that by himself.
Jamal: Jack, Jack -- chill, man, chill. Oh!
Chris: Jack --
Jack: Stay away!
Chris: What's wrong with you? Now, you better calm down and get back in that --
Jack: You can't stop me!
Chris: Jack? Jack?
Jack: What's in the needle, Chris?
Chris: Jack, let go of my hand. You're breaking it. For God's sakes. Ah!
Guard: Hey, you can't go in there.
Jack: What the hell are you talking about? I can't move that. No human can move that.
Alison: Jack, I was --
Jack: I'm not like that anymore, Alison. I'm not a vampire. I don't have superhuman strength. I don't have fangs, and I don't drink blood. I'm a regular, normal guy. And I plan on staying that way.
Karen: Where is Dr. Miranda? She answered her page. She should be here by now.
Colleen: I know. She said she was on her way. That's all I know.
Frank: Deneice told me Miranda's stuck in traffic. She'll be here as soon as she can.
Karen: Well, let's hope traffic is moving. I don't think we have much time.
Ian: Just a little while longer and our son's going to be here, and the three of us are going to start a beautiful life together. Ok?
Eve: Yeah. I just want to hurry up and have this baby.
Ian: Ok. Well, I wish there was something I could do, but I really can't --
Eve: Yes, you can't. And since you can't, maybe there's something you can do to distract me, like sing or --
Ian: Oh, no --
Eve: Recite a poem or something.
Ian: He'll never come out if I start singing.
Eve: Yes, please recite a poem.
Ian: A poem?
Ian: I know -- I only know one poem. Ok. "High is the mountain, red is the rose, deep blue is the water where young Daniel goes. And down falls the river past the house on the sand, with Daniel's ship flying just as fast as it can. But out in the ocean there are thick clouds galore, with monsters and dragons where there were none before. And the bright sea has turned to the color of stone, with young Daniel out in the waves, all alone. Then he feels someone's hand on his furrowed, cold brow, the touch, soft and calm, brings him back to the now. 'Oh, Mother,' he cries, 'if you knew where I've been.' 'I do, my young Daniel, and it was only a dream.'"
Eve: Oh. That's beautiful. And I love you for it. But, Karen, I changed my mind! I need those drugs now!
Ian: Hey -- it's all I have --
Karen: I don't know. Hold on.
Eve: Oh, God.
Ian: It's all right. It's ok.
Eve: Oh, God, I need the drugs. Ow, ow.
Karen: Eve, it's too late. You've dilated at 10.
Eve: Oh, no!
Ian: No, we still got the Lamaze --
Eve: Oh, you have no idea what a comfort that is to me! Oh! Oh!
Ian: Just keep --
Eve: Oh, God, Karen, it's too late. I got to push. I got to push!
Ian: Is it ok?
Lucy: Stop. Wait, wait, wait! You can't have the baby right now. Stop, stop, stop!
Eve: What? What?
Kevin: We did it.
Lucy: Yeah. We found somebody to marry the two of you. Here.
Alison: Jack, I'm -- I'm really sorry. I mean, I was just kidding about the whole super strength thing.
Jack: Yeah, yeah. I'm sorry, too. I've -- I've just been a little on the edge lately.
Alison: Afraid it's going to come back again, aren't you?
Jack: No. No, it's just -- yeah. I'm scared to death. All these urges have gone away, but it's like I can't trust it. I feel like all hell's going to break loose any day.
Alison: But it won't. Jack, Caleb is gone. He turned into dust. He can never hurt any of us ever again.
Jack: Yeah. Yeah, that's exactly what I try to keep telling Livvie -- you know, that we just got to move on and put this behind us.
Alison: Yeah. That's pretty good advice. Maybe you should take that advice.
Jack: Yeah, I'm trying. I'm really trying. Would you mind if we bagged this whole cappuccino thing?
Alison: No, not at all. Of course not.
Jack: I really think Livvie and I could use the time alone.
Jack: And I'm sure you and Jamal probably could, too.
Alison: Come on.
Jack: Hey, where's Livvie?
Jamal: Livvie? She's back at your place. Said something about some -- you guys needing some alone time or something?
Jamal: I don't know, so --
Man: Into this holy estate these two persons present come to be joined. I charge and require you --
Man: As you stand -- oh -- in the presence of God, having duly considered the --
Karen: Don't push, don't push, don't push, don't push!
Ian: You're ok.
Eve: Marry us already!
Man: All right. I understand that you've prepared your vows.
Ian: Yes, yes.
Ian: Ok. First off, I would like to say how happy I am that we get to do this again, that I get to do it again with you. First thing I remember is how your eyes dance when you're angry.
Ian: And sometimes not. Ok, and everything I said the last time.
Ian: What about you?
Eve: Oh, me, too!
Man: Oh, all right. Ian, do you take this woman, Eve Lambert, to be your lawfully wedded wife?
Ian: I do.
Man: And, Eve, do you take this man, Ian Thornhart, to be your lawfully wedded husband?
Eve: I do!
Man: I now pronounce you man and wife!
Man: You may kiss the bride!
Karen: Go, go!
Lucy: Pastor Olson, you did it. That was terrific. It was super!
Kevin: Oh, and it was just in the nick of time.
Lucy: Oh, I'm so sorry we had to rip you out of your bed, though.
Pastor Olson: I thought I had done and seen everything as a minister. But that was definitely a first!
Kevin: Thank you!
Lucy: Wow. Oh, Doc.
Kevin: Hey, you did it.
Lucy: No -- wait a minute. You are the one that came up with the idea.
Kevin: Well, you were the one that somehow managed to get him out of traction.
Lucy: Ok, we both did it.
Lucy: Oh! Oh!
Kevin: Ok. I guess it's all up to Eve now.
Lucy: Right. Ooh -- ow.
Karen: Ok, you're doing great, Eve.
Karen: Push one more time. Come on, let's push. Push.
Karen: That's great. Ok, I have the head.
Frank: And his shoulders. Ok. Ok. Here, Ian.
Karen: He's beautiful!
Ian: You did it. You did it, Lambert. We have a son.
Eve: Oh, my God. Oh, I see him. I want to -- I want to hold him, Karen. Karen, what's wrong? Why isn't he crying, Karen? Oh, my God, something's wrong with our baby.
>> On the next "Port Charles" --
Gabriela: I'm going to go away.
Alison: To get in touch with God?
Alison: You're going to be a nun?
Jack: I know when something's wrong with you. It's Caleb, isn't it?
Eve: Please, don't --
Ian: Come on, son. Come on.
