Joe: I don't understand. You said you wanted to go off and start a new life with me. You were excited.

Gabriela: I can't leave here.

Joe: You keep saying that. What do you mean? What's changed?

Gabriela: I just can't.

Joe: Gabby, please talk to me. What's going on? Is it your family? Are you starting to feel like it'd be too hard to leave them?

Gabriela: I don't know.

Joe: All right, look, we've both been under a lot of stress lately, all right, waiting for my HIV results, planning this move. Maybe you're just feeling overwhelmed. I mean, it's no secret that you've been acting a little strange lately.

Gabriela: I don't want to talk.

Joe: Well, we don't have to right now.

Gabriela: All I want is you. Make love to me. I don't want to think about anything else!

Alison: Jamal, what is going on?

Jamal: I had to get you out of there.

Alison: Well, we can't leave Jack there with all those guys.

Jamal: Those guys are not moving because of Jack.

Alison: He beat all of them up himself?

Jamal: Yeah. See what I'm saying?

Alison: No, I don't see. I don't understand.

Jamal: Well, you didn't see the look in his eye.

Alison: What look? What are you talking about?

Jamal: Like he wanted to kill them.

Alison: Are you sure?

Jamal: Yeah, I even thought he was coming after me for a sec.

Alison: What?

Jamal: But, Ali, he snapped out it, ok, but he was just out of control like a wild animal.

Alison: Well, what do you think is going on with him?

Jamal: I don't know, but I'm going to find out.

Alison: Where are we going?

Jamal: No, not "we" -- you. You're moving in with your granny.

Lucy: Oh, boy. Jack.

Jack: Where's Livvie?

Lucy: Uh, wait --

Jack: Livvie?

Lucy: Whoa, whoa. She's not here.

Jack: Livvie?

Lucy: Stop, she's not here.

Jack: Lucy, I have to find Livvie. I need Livvie.

Lucy: Well, I'm sure you do, but first you need to -- where have you been?

Jack: That doesn't matter.

Lucy: Yeah, wait. Whoa, whoa. Yes, it does matter. Jack, Alison came to the ER looking for you. I was worried. Are you ok?

Jack: I'm fine. All I care about is Livvie.

Lucy: Well, I know. I can see that.

Jack: I know she's here somewhere. I got to find her.

Lucy: Please just stop. Tea. You know what? Doc's on an emergency call. Why don't we just wait till he gets back. You know, we'll have a nice -- ooh, a hot cup of tea and we'll sit down and chat, you know, just relax. Here.

Jack: Look, all I need is Livvie!

Lucy: What is wrong with you, Jack?

Caleb: you're home, Olivia.

Livvie: What is this place?

Caleb: This place is where nothing else matters but you and me.

Livvie: What am I doing here?

Caleb: You belong here. It's where dreams come true.

Livvie: My dreams.

Caleb: I'll take care of all your needs, all your desires. I want you to be happy, Olivia. And I want you to be mine.

Jack: I'm so sorry. I did not mean to do that.

Lucy: I know. It -- it's ok, Jack. I know you didn't, but, you know, we need to talk. Well, go ahead. Help yourself. You know, you and Livvie -- you never really shared with me an explanation about what happened when you disappeared, you know, and I thought maybe it'd be a good time to chat -- hey, if you want me to make you something else -- are you that hungry? I can whip up -- I'm not very good, but I -- oh, my God, Jack, what is it? You don't -- you don't look so good. Are you ok? Jack?

Jack: I need Livvie. I'll feel better when I find her.

Lucy: I don't think so. I think you look like you need a lot more than just Livvie. Jack --

Jack: No, Lucy, I need to see her. I need to touch her.

Lucy: I want to know what's going on first. I can't help if -- what is going on with you?

Jack: I can't, I can't. I have to go.

Lucy: No, you don't have to go. You have to stay. Just wait, you can't go.

Jack: Lucy, I have to keep looking for her.

Lucy: No. Sit. You need to sit. You have to sit down, Jack. Just sit down for a minute. You're -- you're burning up. Take your coat off. Here, give me your arms. Take your coat off. Oh, my God. The cop that shot at you -- he didn't miss you, did he? That bullet hit you.

Caleb: I've looked for you in every crowd, in every woman's face, but none of them were right because none of them were you.

Livvie: I -- I shouldn't be here.

Caleb: There's nothing that we can't do together, Olivia.

Livvie: But I don't want to --

Caleb: Whatever you might want I can give to you.

Livvie: You -- you mean you want me to stay?

Caleb: Well, I'd never force you to stay. I want you to choose to stay. I want you to think of me as your protector. I want to be as vital to you as the air you breathe. You will feel all these things. I can already see it in your eyes.

Joe: That was incredible.

Joe: Come here. Come here. I know it's strange not having anything hanging over us, you know, nothing to hold us back. I'm still getting used to the fact that I'm HIV-negative. We've lived with that uncertainty for so long. I guess that's why -- that's why I've been rushing this move, you know, because I don't want to be held back anymore, Gabby. I'm sorry if it's been too fast for you. We can slow down. All that matters is -- is that you know how much I love you. "I know, Joe, and I love you, too." Gabby, what's wrong?

Gabriela: I'm sorry.

Joe: I don't want you to apologize. I want -- I want you to talk to me.

Gabriela: I just need some time.

Joe: No, no. No, you need to be honest with me.

Gabriela: You're right. You deserve the truth.

Joe: Which is?

Gabriela: This isn't enough.

Joe: What do you mean?

Gabriela: I'm sorry, Joe, but I've met someone else.

Alison: Jamal, I'm not going to Nana's.

Jamal: You have to.

Alison: Why?

Jamal: Just because, ok? I mean, just I'm going to be busy figuring stuff out.

Alison: I know, figuring all this stuff out with Jack. Ok, we can do that together. I can help you.

Jamal: No.

Alison: No?!

Jamal: Ali, this is just better if I just do this on my own.

Alison: What is going on with you?

Jamal: Look, baby, just trust me, ok?

Alison: No, please, please just trust me, ok, and tell me why it is that you want me to leave you.

Jamal: So you'll be safe.

Alison: Safe from what?

Jamal: Jack.

Alison: Jack would never hurt me.

Jamal: Well, maybe not the Jack that we used to know, but --

Alison: Jamal, this is crazy.

Jamal: No, Jack is crazy right now, ok? We can't be sure what he's going to do.

Alison: Look, ok, you caught him in the middle of a fight. You know, he's all pumped up, he's all --

Jamal: Ali, I know what I saw, ok, and I know you keep trying to make sense of this and everything, but you can't.

Alison: Well, then we'll figure it out together because I'm not leaving you.

Jamal: Look, Ali, you have to, ok? Like when he kissed you, he was just out of control.

Alison: Jamal, that was a joke.

Jamal: Alison, that was not a joke.

Alison: Oh --

Jamal: It was not, ok? He is just tripping. Ok, he's been tripping for a long time, even before the race. Ali, we buried him.

Alison: I know.

Jamal: That coffin was in pieces like -- like he just burst out of it. And now he's just walking around without a scratch on him after going over a cliff? Ali, come on!

Alison: I know it's freaky --

Jamal: No, no, it's whacked-out is what it is, and I don't want you around him. Look, Alison, don't fight me on this. Jack is violent right now. He threw Chris around like he was nothing. I just saw him whip three guys without even breaking a sweat.

Alison: Jamal, we are his friends.

Jamal: It doesn't matter because when he snaps, it's just -- Alison, we still don't know who killed Zach.

Alison: Well, you don't think that he would --

Jamal: You know, after seeing what I saw, I can't rule it out.

Alison: No way.

Jamal: We don't know what Jack did, and we don't know what he's going to do. Ok, that's all I'm saying. Ok, but I'm not taking any chances, ok, not with you.

Lucy: I found the bullet the cop shot at you. I want you to look at it.

Jack: It hit something.

Lucy: It hit you. There is a hole in your jean jacket.

Jack: No, no, it couldn't have.

Lucy: Maybe it just grazed you and that would explain all of this.

Jack: Explain what, Lucy?

Lucy: Look at the way you've been acting, the way you're feeling. Jack, maybe this hit you, you know, and it just -- it just grazed you and caused some damage in your body and now you have an infection.

Jack: Maybe that's the pain I've been feeling.

Lucy: That's why you have this fever. You are burning up. I tell you what -- why don't I go get a cold washcloth, ok? Just stay right there. Just stay calm. I'll be right back, ok?

[Water runs]

Lucy: Here. Come here. Let's put this on your head, ok? There you go. Oh, jeez, you are burning up. Now, come here. All right, now listen, I just want to take a look at your side, you know, where the bullet might have hit. Maybe I can see something or feel something. I don't -- I don't feel anything. There isn't anything there. Does that hurt at all?

Jack: No.

Lucy: Oh, you're still burning up. Your skin is so hot.

Lucy: Jack, what are you doing? Jack? Jack, what -- what are you doing? Let go of me. You're hurting me, Jack. Let go. Jack, let go of me!

Jack: Oh, my -- oh, my God. What's happened to me? I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

Lucy: Ok, but I know what's going to happen. We're going to get you to the hospital, Jack. Get up. Just get up. Go on, get up. We got to find out what's wrong with you. It's ok. Now, just walk, ok? Let's go to the hospital. I'm going to drive you there and we're going to find out what is going on.

Livvie: I -- I don't think I should be here. Jack wouldn't -- he just -- he wouldn't --

Caleb: You've never felt this way before, have you? You're burning up. I guess you never felt this kind of desire, where every touch is like coming home. Don't -- don't be afraid of it.

Livvie: I'm not.

Caleb: You know me, Olivia. It's my kiss you felt when you woke up.

Livvie: You.

Caleb: I'm the one you've been waiting for your whole life. You'll never want for anything with me. You'll never be afraid and you'll never be alone because I'll always be with you, Olivia.

Joe: Wait, you met somebody else? You got to be kidding me, right?

Gabriela: I'm sorry.

Joe: Well, how? When?

Gabriela: It just happened.

Joe: It just happened? Nothing just happens.

Gabriela: I wasn't looking for it, Joe.

Joe: We were planning our future together, Gabby. What, yesterday? A few hours ago? Did you just meet him since then or -- or have you been cheating on me this whole time?

Gabriela: No.

Joe: Which is it?

Gabriela: I can't explain it.

Joe: We have spent practically every second together, Gabby. What, you meet him on your coffee break? Did you slip out while I was sleeping?

Gabriela: It wasn't like that.

Joe: Then what was it like?

Gabriela: I never meant to hurt you, Joe.

Joe: Well, it's too late. I thought you were happy with me.

Gabriela: I was.

Joe: But not anymore because of this guy.

Gabriela: I can't get him out of my head. I tried.

Joe: Yeah. I bet you did.

Gabriela: I can't pretend I never met him. And I'm not -- I'm not sure I want to.

Joe: Look, if you -- if you've found someone else, someone you're so ready to be with, then why did you just make love to me? You weren't thinking about him just then. Or were you? So that's all it was, huh? My going-away present?

Gabriela: I didn't mean for this to happen.

Joe: Yeah, well, it did, didn't it?

Joe: I hope you and your new man have a great life. Just stay the hell away from mine.

Gabriela's Voice: Do I know you?

Caleb's Voice: You will, soon.

Gabriela: I don't even know his name.

Jamal: Hey, Dara, it's Jamal. Give me a call when you get this. I need to talk to you as soon as possible. It's about a dead guy who didn't stay dead.

Karen: Your temperature's 104. You're burning up.

Jack: I need Livvie. I have to find Livvie.

Karen: You are not going anywhere. A temperature this high --

Jack: Look, I don't care. I have to find Livvie.

Karen: Ok, listen, I will call Livvie for you, ok?

Lucy: Karen. Karen.

Karen: What's up?

Lucy: Listen to me -- we've got to find out what's wrong with him before we go and scare Livvie half to death.

Karen: No, I know. I understand. I don't know what's wrong. That's why I'm admitting him right now.

Lucy: Good. Listen, the bullet stuff I told you --

Karen: There's no sign of anything on the surface, but I'll admit him for some tests and then do some x-rays.

Lucy: Ok, good. But look at him. Can't you give him something to calm him down? He's so jumpy, he can't hold still, he's uncomfortable, come on.

Karen: Well, that's what's so strange.

Lucy: What?

Karen: I already gave him enough sedatives to bring down a horse. I don't even know how he's awake right now.

Jack: Livvie.

Livvie: No.

Caleb: Olivia.

Livvie: What -- what am I doing here? I don't -- I don't belong here. I belong with Jack. I love Jack.

Caleb: Look at me.

Livvie: No. No, I don't want to look at you, and stop calling me Olivia! Leave me alone.

Michael's Voice: I loved her, too, Caleb, but I didn't destroy her. Everything you touch you destroy.

Caleb: Olivia! Olivia.

On the next "Port Charles" --

Eve: It's coming from over here.

Ian: The cellar.

Eve: Maybe we should go check.

Livvie: I think Jack may be in trouble.

Jamal: He's not the only one. You might be in trouble, too.

Jack: Get back, all of you.

Chris: Let's go. Jack!
