Alison: Oh! It's heavy.
Jack: All right, here, where do you want it?
Alison: Um, right here.
Jack: All right.
Alison: It's heavy. Watch your back.
Jack: Oh -- whew.
Alison: Also, by the way -- I did decide to tell Jamal the truth about the money actually coming from Nana.
Alison: No. Are you crazy? Yeah, I would, but, you know, he's just having too much fun. I don't want to ruin it.
Jack: Well, Alison, do me a favor. When you decide to tell him, let me know.
Alison: Oh, so you can help?
Jack: No, so I can run.
Frank: "Enough questions. Just tell me why you are playing this game."
Cookie: "You're the one playing games with me. I thought you were my friend."
Frank: "But you're like 'The Twilight Zone.' Leave me alone." She really believes this is 1973. What is going on?
Frank: This -- this shouldn't even be working, much less communicating. No, no, no, that -- it can't be happening. I am not talking to the past. I mean, that's -- that's crazy. It would mean I'm crazy.
Frank: Hey, Victor? It's Frank. I really need your help. Meet me at Kelly's. I can't explain right now. I need you to bring that equipment you used to test how old Mom's antique desk was. That's pretty accurate, right? Good. I need -- I need to test how old an engraving is.
Arianna: Ian. Hey. Grace just dropped off some information regarding the transplant operation.
Ian: Oh. Have you read it?
Arianna: Yeah, there's so much.
Ian: Well, don't worry about it. We'll -- we'll get you ready in time.
Arianna: What about a donor? I know that the best chance for a match is through a family member.
Ian: Yeah. No, it's a little more difficult to find a donor that's not related, but it's not impossible.
Arianna: I have a sister, and her and I have been always really, really close. If there's any chance we can get in touch with her --
Ian: Arianna, we --
Arianna: You already tried.
Ian: Yeah. Karen talked to your father.
Arianna: He won't let any of them lift a finger to help me, will he? He still wants me dead.
Karen: Ok. Relax.
Eve: Karen -- oh, my God. What are you doing?
Frank: What -- you're kidding. That fast? Well, what's it say?
Victor: From all I can see, the name was scratched into the wood about 25, 30 years ago.
Frank: So it really could have been put there, say, in 1973.
Victor: That's 28 years. Yeah, absolutely. Does -- does that answer your question? Frank -- Frank?
Frank: What? Oh, yeah, yeah. That's -- that's great, Victor, thanks.
Victor: Frank, are you all right? You look a little pale to me.
Frank: Oh, yeah, yeah. Thanks again, Victor.
Victor: Anytime. Call me if you need something. I'm also available to check out hearts carved in tree trunks.
Frank: I will. 1973. If you're telling the truth, Cookie, that -- oh, come on, Frank. Listen to yourself. It is not possible. It is the punch line to a bad joke. Unless --
Cookie: Um --
Scotty: Who is this?
Cookie: Sorry. It's me, Cookie. This is going to sound strange.
Scotty: You're always strange.
Cookie: No. I mean really strange. I've been talking with this guy on my dad's computer.
Scotty: You mean that goofy thing he built?
Cookie: It works, I swear. Well, this guy I'm talking with, he's been telling me all kinds of stuff that hasn't happened yet. Know why?
Scotty: Nah, don't tell me -- he thinks he's Kreskin.
Cookie: It's even better than that. He's living in the year 2001.
Scotty: I got a news flash for you. This guy's up in Sing Sing in a straitjacket.
Cookie: Honest. It's really weird and scary.
Scotty: Are you into goofballs or are you serious?
Cookie: No. Well, yeah. I mean, if you come over, I could show you.
Scotty: I'm kind of busy. You know, it is fish stick Friday.
Cookie: But you will? I mean, later?
Scotty: Yeah, sure.
Cookie: So, I'll see you around?
Scotty: Yeah, yeah. I'll catch you later.
Karen: Don't just stand there. Help me.
Eve: Karen. Karen, you should have called me first.
Karen: I tried. You weren't there.
Eve: Yeah, but I'm here now. Don't do this.
Karen: Don't do what? What do you think --
Eve: Come on, we can talk this through, Karen. I had no idea things had gotten this bad for you.
Karen: No, you've got this all wrong. I --
Eve: Honey, I know the signs. You're hiding in the bathroom. I see what you had in your hand. I see what you have on your arm.
Karen: Would you listen to me?
Eve: No, you listen to me! And if I have to get tough with you, then so be it! There is no way I am going to let you go through this again.
Karen: Eve -- Eve.
Eve: You mean too much to me.
Karen: Stop! Stop and let me talk. You've got this all wrong. I'm not doing drugs. Look at the needle. It's empty.
Eve: Then, what -- what --
Karen: I'm trying to draw blood.
Karen: So I can be tested, see if I'm match.
Eve: For whom?
Kevin: Lucy --
Lucy: I know, I know. Please don't say it. I -- I messed up yet again.
Kevin: I had a talk with Eve.
Lucy: Well, this time Eve's right.
Kevin: Is she?
Kevin: About what?
Lucy: Well, I -- you know, I -- I told you both that I was trying to help take care of something that you've both been too busy to deal with, and that was partially right at the time. That's what I was thinking at the time.
Kevin: Mm-hmm. And what about now?
Lucy: Well, I've also been thinking right now, and I realize I'm -- I am selfish. I wanted that divorce. I want you divorced. I do because -- I'm not exactly sure why. You are very furious with me, aren't you?
Kevin: I just wish you would talk to me before you go off and do things like that.
Lucy: I know that. I get that --
Kevin: Well, why did you feel like you had to?
Lucy: I got -- I got excited. Well, I know that sounds weird, but I was excited because you wanted the divorce, that you were ready to put that part of your life behind you, and so then the idea just popped into my head.
Kevin: Lucy, you're not threatened by my relationship with Eve, are you? Because you don't have to be.
Lucy: I know that. I mean, I do. I think -- I do. It's not that, exactly.
Kevin: It's like pulling nails. What is it, then?
Lucy: It's us. Doc, you know -- every time I think everything's going to work out between us, something happens. Every time I get my hopes up and my dreams that we are going to be ok, we're going to be fine, something happens to us.
Kevin: But not this time, Lucy.
Lucy: I know that. I mean, I think I know that, but my brain gets busy, you know. It just starts racing, and I get things sort of twisted and turned around, and I think I need a reminder, so, oh, my goodness, I go right out there and I'm going to get that reminder.
Kevin: You know, all you have to do is ask.
Kevin: So here's one for you. You are the only woman for me, Lucy. And you always will be.
Lucy: Oh, Doc, I love you. I love you and I'm -- I'm so sorry.
Kevin: I love you, too. Come on, let's go home.
Lucy: I'm sorry.
Zach: Place is shaping up, huh?
Sam: Looks like a winner to me.
Jamal: What are you doing here?
Zach: Congratulations, man.
Jamal: Man, save it. You didn't get the message, did you?
Zach: What message?
Jamal: Look. I don't want your business or you or your kennel hanging around here.
Zach: You saying we're not welcome?
Jamal: Yeah, you got it.
Zach: I don't know, friend. Might change your mind when you hear what I got to say.
Frank: Ok, Cookie, one more time. "I know you're there. I'm sorry I didn't believe you, but I do now."
Cookie: "I told you to leave me alone. What do you want?"
Frank: "I didn't mean to freak you out by saying I was living in the year 2001." "Then why did you say it?" "Look, I'm not sure what's going on here. I just wish I knew how to make it up to you, but there is nobody I can ask for help. Anyone I tell says we can't possibly be talking over computers like this." "I know. I tried to talk to someone, too." "The boy you told me about?"
Cookie: "Didn't believe a word at first. Said the whole thing was weird."
Frank: "Listen, Cookie. Since everybody thinks we're crazy, how about doing me a crazy favor? There's a loose brick out in front of Kelly's. Leave a note there for me sometime in the next hour."
Cookie: "Gotta go. I hear my dad."
Frank: "Tell me you'll do it first. Promise me." Damn it! Ok, Cookie. Come on. Fingers crossed. Don't let me down.
Eve: So, now, what makes you think you're going to be a match?
Karen: Same blood type?
Eve: Well, AB-neg is pretty rare, but that still doesn't mean you're going to be a perfect donor.
Karen: Well, odds are still better than most of the population.
Eve: That's still a lot of ifs. You ready?
Eve: All right.
Karen: Well, you're probably right. But what if I am?
Eve: If you are, then Arianna's got a really good chance.
Karen: And you and Ian?
Eve: Don't go there, Karen. Ahem. Ian and I are committed to saving Arianna. Ahem. You know, I really appreciate this gesture, but this has to be for Arianna, not for Ian and me. Ok?
Karen: Thanks. Well, go ahead. This will take a while.
Eve: Ok, I will. Let me know as soon as you get the results.
Karen: Will do.
Eve: Oh, one other thing -- this is not some simple blood transfusion procedure here. I mean, you know, you could be laid up for days if this is a match.
Karen: I know, but -- it's a long shot, right? I mean, there's probably tons of other donors available.
Eve: I'm not so sure about that. You might turn out to be the only one.
Frank: I must be crazy. What did I think was going to happen?
Frank: What the hell am I waiting for?
Jamal: You know what, Zach? They haven't dreamt up the words that'll change my mind about you.
Zach: You might be surprised. I know I was when I heard you were serving up munchies and macchiatos. Now, I remember something about not being welcome in a bike shop, but nobody ever said nothing about a cafe, and I'm starting -- hey, hey, hands off! You don't want to lose it, man.
Jamal: You sure do make a lot of noise, Zach. Maybe that's why you didn't hear me. So I'm going to say it nice and slow, ok? You're no friend of mine, your friends are no friend of mine, and I don't want to see your face anywhere in this vicinity. Ok, is that clear enough for you?
Zach: Know something that's not clear, Jamal? Where'd the cash come from, huh? Where did Alison tell you she got the bank to float this thing?
Jamal: It's none of your business, man.
Zach: No, you see, that's where you're wrong. It's 25,000% my business. It turns out your lady took money from someone she shouldn't have. Now the man wants it back. And if she can't deliver -- and I got a feeling she can't -- your girlfriend's in some deep trouble. Like, real deep.
Ian: I -- I'm out of touch with my family, as well -- ever since my sister Grainne died. I haven't -- I haven't talked to anyone in Ireland for years. So I understand some of the loneliness that you're going through.
Arianna: It's not the same. Your family didn't treat you the way mine did.
Ian: Listen to me. This is a new life, new rules. And your home and your people are where your heart says they are.
Arianna: Do you really believe that? Do you live your life that way?
Ian: I try to. The question is, can you?
Arianna: I can try.
Ian: And I will help you if you let me.
Ian: Ok. From now on, we're family. You can depend on that. Depend on me.
Arianna: I do, Ian. I do.
Eve: Elaine. Hi. Are you going in to check on Mrs. Thornhart?
Elaine: Yes, I am. Did you want to go in?
Eve: Uh, no. It looks like they could both use some privacy.
Elaine: I've got other patients to see, anyway. He certainly is devoted to her, isn't he?
Eve: Yes. Certainly is.
Karen: Ok, here we go. I don't believe this. We're a match. I'm a match for Arianna.
Frank: Ok. So I'm nuts. I actually thought a note from 1973 was going to magically appear. Well, just get a grip, Scanlon, and walk away. Walk away before they take you away. That's all you can do. No, I -- I'll only be back here in the middle of the night if I don't check it one last time.
Frank: "Ok, Frank, here's your note. Cookie." Oh, my God.
>> On the next "Port Charles" --
Jamal: What were you thinking?
Jack: Hey, where'd you get those?
Jamal: From your banker, Zach.
Jack: You think I set up Alison, don't you?
Eve: Thanks to you, Arianna's got a really good chance.
Karen: I can't do it, Eve. I can't be a donor.
