Tabitha: Kay, I told you not to use that spell. Now look what you've done.
Basil: Ladies, don't lose your bodies or you'll end up like me.
Edna: This is nuts.
Norma: What the heck happened?
Tabitha: Kay misdirected her magic again. When she said she wanted to see ahead, she knocked our heads right off our bodies.
Kay: When I said I wanted to see ahead, I meant I wanted to sort of look into the future to see my wedding with Miguel, not actually see "a head."
Tabitha: Yes, well, now do you understand you are not ready to use your powers? You keep having these mix-ups and we keep having to fix them.
Luis: I love you. I love you so much.
Fancy: I love you, too. I was so afraid I'd lose you forever when you found out what I did to Pretty.
Luis: No. You told me it was an accident and I believed you. I know you'd never deliberately try and hurt anyone, especially your own sister.
Fancy: Thank you for believing me.
Luis: Thought I wouldn't?
Fancy: I never meant to hurt her, but she was choking me so I grabbed for the nearest thing I could to defend myself.
Luis: I'm sure you didn't know it was caustic pool chemicals and that it would scar her face.
Fancy: God, no. It breaks my heart that Pretty's had to live with that scar for all these years. I would do anything if I could go back in time to change things.
Luis: It must have been terrible for you, too, to have to live with that memory for all these years, right?
Fancy: Yeah, I felt so ashamed and guilty, you know? All I wanted to do was just run away and forget it ever happened. And then Pretty came back to Harmony, and it all came flooding back. Luis, tell me the truth.
Fancy: Do you think differently about me now that you know?
Luis: Uh, no. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
Fancy: That's all I want, too.
Luis: Good. You know nothing's ever going to come between us again.
Fancy: We'll be together, now, no matter what.
Luis: Forever. No one is going to break us apart. I'd like to see them try.
Luis: Good luck.
Alistair: You couldn't be more wrong, Luis. You're never going to be with my granddaughter because you're going to be dead.
Theresa: You have to live. You need to get better for your son. He deserves to know his father, and you deserve to know that you have a son. But you need to come back to me.
Pilar: Theresa, I came as soon as I heard. What happened?
Theresa: Alistair did this to him.
Pilar: Alistair? Alistair's alive? Oh, my God.
Rebecca: I can't believe Gwen left before finding out if Ethan was going to live or die. I mean, she said she loved him, said she wanted to be with him. So who or what could be more important to her than Ethan?
Sheridan: I can't do this. I can't hold on to both of you.
Vincent: Don't let Vincent fall, Aunt Sheridan. Vincent doesn't want to die.
Spike: You're a bigger loser than I thought if you save him over me.
Sheridan: Why would I? You were going to kill both of us.
Spike: Aw, come on. I was just horsing around, all right, just this little joke. Don't take it so seriously.
Sheridan: Oh, I did and I do. There's no question in my mind who I'm going to pull up.
Spike: Listen, if you don't save me, you'll never see your son again.
Sheridan: What? My son?
Spike: That kid, Marty. That's the kid's name, right?
Sheridan: No, Marty's dead. You must be talking about my adopted son, James.
Spike: No, no, no. Marty. He didn't die.
Sheridan: Of course he did. You're even more revolting than I thought to use his name to save yourself.
Spike: Will you shut up? I'm telling the truth. He didn't die. I can take him to you. I can take you to him. You've just got to help me up, first.
Sheridan: Marty. My son's alive?
Spike: Yeah, and I can take you to him. Just help me.
Sheridan: No, that's impossible. My son died. He was killed when the train exploded outside of Rome.
Spike: I'm telling you the truth, all right? Your father lived through it, so did your son, ok? Marty's alive, believe me, but you've got to save me first and I'll take you to him.
Tabitha: Enough, enough already. Will everyone stop acting like a chicken with its head cut off?
Edna: But we do have our heads cut off.
Norma: Kay, you got us into this mess, get us out.
Kay: I will.
Norma: I mean now -- before I grab your head and crush it like a melon.
Edna: Or I grab it and use it like a football.
Tabitha: Well, now, now, now. No need for nasty threats. Kay just made a little mistake, that's all. She took the weight off your shoulders for a bit. [Chuckles] Oh, my little joke. But she's going to put our heads back on now, aren't you, dear?
Kay: Yes, of course.
Edna: Well, hurry up.
Kay: Ok, I will. Mind and body be as one reunite our heads be done.
Tabitha: Oh, Endora, please. I want you back in one piece again.
Edna: Oh, no! You've got my head.
Norma: And you've got mine! Kay! You dingbat, fix this.
Kay: Oh, no.
Tabitha: Not that it makes much difference.
Basil: [Laughs] This is getting better and better.
Alistair: I don't get that. How could Fancy do this to me? I mean, she's my favorite granddaughter, the chosen one. She's the only one in the family I've ever trusted, the only one I considered to be a true, true Crane. How could she betray me with this -- with this peasant?
Alistair: You've made your bed, Granddaughter. Now Luis will die in it.
Pretty: Grandfather, what are you doing out here?
Pilar: What happened to Ethan?
Theresa: He was poisoned. He could die.
Pilar: Wait, he was -- he was poisoned? How -- what -- are you saying Alistair did this? How could Alistair be alive?
Theresa: I don't know, but he survived and I guess he's been in hiding, you know, waiting to come back to Harmony.
Pilar: Why would he try to kill Ethan?
Theresa: He wasn't trying to kill Ethan, Mama. He was trying to kill me.
Pilar: Oh, my God.
Theresa: Ethan -- he ate these poisoned strawberries before I had the chance and it's -- it made him sick. Now they don't know if he's going to make it.
Pilar: Ok, well, don't lose faith, mija, all right? God's not going to take him away from you, not after everything you two have been through.
Theresa: Yeah, I'm praying. That's all I've been doing since he collapsed.
Pilar: Oh, I just -- my God, I just don't understand. How could that man be alive? Everyone knows that he was on that train when it blew up.
Theresa: I don't know, Mama, but he -- I mean, I saw him. I looked into those evil eyes and I felt his hands around my neck.
Theresa: When the poison didn't kill me, he tried to strangle me. Whitney and Chad, they got there in time to stop him.
Pilar: Oh, my God. Thank God.
Theresa: Alistair -- he wants to kill everyone. He, um -- [Sighs] He killed Chad.
Pilar: He what?
Theresa: Chad is dead, Mama.
Pilar: But that's his son. He wouldn't kill his own son.
Theresa: Well, he did. The man is insane. And Whitney, she's devastated, you know.
Pilar: I -- this is just all -- this is unbelievable. That man is killing members of his own family? It means that none of us are safe, Theresa.
Theresa: I know. We're all in danger, Mama.
Pilar: I don't believe it. Oh, my God, poor Chad.
Theresa: I know.
Pilar: What did the doctors say about Ethan, though?
Theresa: They said they don't -- they don't know if he's going to make it or not, but they are doing everything they can. I can't lose him. I love him.
Pilar: I know, I know.
Rebecca: Oh, no. If after all this time Theresa ends up with Ethan, I don't know what I'm going to do. Oh! I'll scream.
Sheridan: I can't hold on much longer.
Vincent: Aunt Sheridan, you have to save me. Please, please, please. I'm your family. I'm your family, please.
Sheridan: I know. I know, I know.
Spike: Shut up. Listen, you want to see your son again, don't you? Don't you? Help me.
Sheridan: Why should I believe you? You're a liar and a killer.
Spike: You want to take that chance and never see your son again, huh? Help me.
Sheridan: Oh, God, what should I do?
Julian: Sheridan, are you all right? Crane Security said you wrecked your car.
Eve: What are you doing?
Spike: Help me.
Eve: Oh, my God, Vincent.
Julian: What happened?
Sheridan: Julian, help me. I can't hold onto them.
Julian: Yes, I'll help.
Sheridan: Eve, please help me. I'm afraid they're going to pull me over.
Vincent: Help me, save me.
Spike: Oh, God -- oh, God!
Norma: I'm warning you, give me back my body. I can't stand looking at this mess.
Edna: Hey, what do you mean? My body's not good enough for you?
Norma: Oh, no, no, love muffin. No, no. It's just that it doesn't fit. My head's too big on your sweet, delicate, feminine form. And your head's too small on my big, macho body.
Edna: You're so right. Kay, do something.
Norma: Kay, I'm warning you. Fix this if you want to live to see tomorrow.
Kay: Ok, I'll fix it. I promise.
Tabitha: Kay, when will you listen to me and stop using your magic? Do you believe me now when I say you're not ready?
Kay: Tabitha, I'm sorry. I just want everything in my wedding to be perfect.
Tabitha: Well, if this is any indication, forget about it. Why didn't you start planning your wedding like a normal mortal?
Kay: I don't know. I guess I just thought if I used magic, I could make everything exactly the way I want it.
Tabitha: A great idea if it worked, but it didn't. So now, will you please put these women back together again?
Kay: Ok, ok. Heads, go back the way you were.
Kay: See there, I fixed it. I knew I could.
Tabitha: Yeah, you fixed it good.
Edna: Ah! Where are my boobies?
Norma: What the hell did you do now?
Miguel: What's with all the screaming?
Alistair: Just what are you doing out here, Pretty?
Pretty: I was looking for you, Grampy. I just wanted to talk to you and try and show you how much I love you. Make you love me. I always loved you more than my own father. What are you looking at? Is that Luis and Fancy?
Alistair: Yes, it is.
Pretty: Oh, well, I guess it didn't take long for Luis to forgive Fancy for what she did to me.
Alistair: Apparently not.
Pretty: Why? Why doesn't Luis care that Fancy destroyed my life and never looked back?
Alistair: All you have to do is look. Does that answer your question?
Pretty: They're not just having sex. He loves her. Everybody loves Fancy. No matter how terrible she is or the horrible things she does, they still love her. Why?
Alistair: It doesn't matter. It just doesn't matter. She's a traitor. She's destroying everything Crane.
Pretty: And yet, you still love her. Why? Why does everyone love Fancy and not me? It's not fair.
Theresa: Please don't die. Please come back to me.
Pilar: Sweetheart, have you had a chance to tell Ethan he has a son?
Theresa: I finally told him, Mama.
Pilar: Oh, good. Good, mija. Your secret's finally out. Good. What did he say?
Theresa: Nothing. He was unconscious when I told him. And I didn't know it at the time, so I don't know if he heard me at all.
Pilar: Well, they say that sometimes people can still hear things, even though they are unconscious.
Theresa: I hope so. I hope that he has a reason to live, knowing that he has a son.
Eve: We need help!
Julian: Just hold onto Sheridan. Don't let her drop Vincent.
Vincent: Help me, Daddy. Help me.
Sheridan's voice: Oh, God. What if he's telling the truth? What if Marty really is alive?
Vincent: Don't let go, Auntie. If you do, you'll never forgive yourself.
Sheridan's voice: If Marty's alive, Spike can take me to him. I've got to find out the truth, but I can't hold onto both of them.
Julian: I'm trying to get to you.
Miguel: I really am going crazy. First I think I'm in Hawaii, then I'm at Tabitha's and I see floating dishes, and now I'm seeing you people with your heads on backwards.
Tabitha: Kay, we can't have Miguel seeing this.
Kay: I know. I thought he was still asleep.
Miguel: Oh, God, I must be dreaming. What the heck did I have to drink? My head is killing me.
Kay: See? His head hurts from the sleeping spell I used.
Tabitha: Kay, you've got to get him out of here before he realizes that he isn't dreaming.
Kay: Come on. Come on, let's take you back to bed. You need to lie down and get some rest.
Miguel: I don't feel so good.
Kay: I know. I know you haven't been feeling yourself all night. Come on, let's go.
Miguel: You know what? No, I'm not going to go anywhere until I figure out what the hell is going on up here.
Pretty: Fancy gets everything. And I lost my happiness when she threw those chemicals in my face. Why? Why does Fancy get everything and I get nothing?
Alistair's voice: That's all going to change very soon.
Rebecca: Gwen, where the hell are you? She should leave that boyfriend and get here ASAP. Oh, it's busy again.
Theresa: Wake up, Ethan. Wake up.
Theresa: I'm not going to give up on him, Mama.
Pilar: I know. Just stay strong, ok, for him and for Little Ethan and for Jane.
Julian: I can't get to you. I'll have to trying another way.
Vincent: Help me, Mommy! Help me, Daddy! Please, help me!
Eve: Oh, baby, we're trying.
Julian: Just don't let go.
Eve: Julian, we have to save him. He's had such a miserable life. We owe him that.
Julian: I know, Eve.
Eve: We need some rope. Do you have rope in the car?
Julian: Maybe I can get a branch or something.
Eve: Sheridan, don't let go. I'm going to see if I can find something to help.
Sheridan: [Groans] I can't hold on much longer.
Spike: Don't let me go. Think of your son --
Sheridan: Spike, your hand is slipping.
Spike: Don't let me go.
Sheridan: I'm trying.
Spike: Marty, Marty, Marty.
Vincent: No. [Screams]
Eve: [Screams] My son!
Julian: Oh, God, no!
Eve: My son!
Spike: Don't let me go. Don't let me go.
Eve: My son! Oh, my God, my son! My son!
Julian: He's gone, Eve. Our son is gone.
Eve: No, we can save him. We can go down there --
Julian: No, no. There's no way he could have survived that fall. He's gone.
Eve: Julian, it isn't fair. He never had a chance. How could this have happened? How?
Julian: I don't know, but I intend to find out.
Spike: Come on, help me!
Miguel: Ok, I don't understand what's going on here. Why are their heads on backwards?
Tabitha: You know those two, they're always such cut-ups.
Miguel: No, their heads are on backwards -- like the little kid in "The Exorcist." Oh, my God, that's it. Are they possessed by evil spirits?
Kay: Yes! They are possessed by the devil.
Miguel: Did you call Father Lonigan?
Kay: No, not yet.
Miguel: Well, we have to say a prayer for them. Heavenly Father, help these poor women. Release them from Satan's clutches.
Tabitha: Kay, you've got to stop this praying or it will make matters worse.
Kay: I know. The boys in the basement are gonna go crazy. Endora -- Endora can you fix them?
Miguel: What was that for?
Kay: Do I need a reason to kiss the man I love more than anything in the world?
Miguel: Mm-mm. Hey! Now what happened?
Kay: What do you mean?
Miguel: Norma and Mrs. Wallace, they're back to normal. Their heads were on backwards, and now they're back to normal. How did they do that?
Kay: Miguel, you are so funny sometimes. Isn't he, Tabitha?
Tabitha: Oh, yes.
Miguel: Their heads were on backwards.
Tabitha: Oh, he's a laugh a minute, yes. Fancy saying their heads were on backwards. Isn't he funny, Endora?
Norma: I admit, sometimes I don't know if I'm going or coming. Well, that would be some trick, eh, Edna?
Edna: Putting our heads on backwards, I'll say. [Laughter]
Miguel: This place just gets weirder and weirder.
Basil: Ain't it the truth, Miguel?
Pretty: Damn you, Fancy. Damn you to hell for ruining my life.
Alistair: It's not Fancy's fault, you know.
Pretty: What are you talking about? She's the one who threw chemicals at my face and left me with this.
Alistair: No, that's not what I mean. I'm talking about Fancy deserting the family for Luis. I mean, somehow, he has mesmerized her, made her forget her roots, forget what is really important. He's the -- he's the culprit here. I mean, first he destroyed Sheridan, and now he's going to destroy Fancy.
Pretty: Grandfather, it's not Luis' fault. Aunt Sheridan said that Fancy's done nothing but throw herself at Luis. I mean, she broke up Luis and Sheridan.
Alistair: Yeah, well, just do me a favor and don't believe everything that Sheridan tells you. She got -- well, she got corrupted by him, too. Luis has that typical Lopez-Fitzgerald trait, just like his father. Just like that tramp of a sister of his, Theresa. That whole family is after whatever they can get. But I'll tell you something. Luis will pay dearly.
Nurse: Excuse me, Mrs. Winthrop, I need to check his vitals.
Theresa: Yes, please, of course. How is he doing?
Nurse: He's improving. His vital signs are stronger.
Nurse: And if you'll watch this monitor...
Nurse: Did you see that? He reacted when I stuck his foot. That's a very good sign.
Theresa: Do you think that he can hear me when I talk to him?
Nurse: Yes, I think he can.
Theresa: I've heard that some patients who are in comas sometimes wake up and say that they've heard everything that they've been told.
Nurse: That's right. There's no scientific proof, but I've seen it happen. I'd keep talking to him if I were you.
Pilar: And you really think that it's possible that he'll hear her?
Nurse: It's very possible.
Theresa: If she's right, then Ethan knows. He knows that Little Ethan is his son.
Pilar: She said it's very possible he heard you.
Theresa: Mom, I hope so. I hope he can forgive me for not telling him sooner.
Pilar: Look, just do what the nurse said, you know, keep trying to get through to him, keep talking to him. Tell him that -- that his family needs him. Tell him to come back.
Theresa: Yeah, I will, Mom. I will.
Rebecca: Great. Now she's not even picking up the phone. If she doesn't get here soon, she's gonna lose any chance she ever had of getting Ethan back.
Fancy: Thank you. It's perfect. [Giggles]
Luis: Yeah, that is good. Concierge said it was the best.
Fancy: Not just the champagne. I mean, everything -- tonight, you. I never expected it to be so perfect.
Luis: It is perfect.
Luis: Everything we've gone through to be together -- it was worth it.
Fancy: I was so afraid you'd hate me once you knew the truth about Pretty.
Luis: You know me better than that. I knew it was an accident. I believed you. I know you'd never do anything to hurt anyone.
Fancy: Yeah, but I still felt guilty all these years, even if it was an accident. Pretty was never able to forgive me.
Luis: Yeah. Well, you know something else? Your concern for her -- it actually made me love you more.
Fancy: Oh, Luis. I love you so much.
Pretty: Look at them. He loves her even more because she's so concerned about me. How is that possible?
Alistair: Luis is a very simple-minded man. He would find it difficult to grasp anything as complex as the relationship with your sister.
Pretty: I hate him. I hate them both, and I wish they were dead.
Alistair's voice: You may have your chance to make that happen.
Miguel: You know what? I am exhausted.
Miguel: I think I do need to go back to sleep.
Kay: Yeah, I think you're right. I think you just need to get a good night's rest. You'll feel good in the morning.
Miguel: You're right.
Miguel: You know, before I go, I just want to know -- what were you guys doing up in the attic?
Kay: I -- I was looking for something to use for our wedding. I want it to be perfect.
Miguel: Aw. So did you find anything?
Kay: Yeah. These.
Miguel: Oh, God. What are they?
Kay: They're flowers. Flowers -- it's like the new, you know, fad. All the celebrities are using them at their weddings.
Basil: Oh, Kay. You just keep getting yourself in deeper and deeper.
Eve: Sheridan, how could you let Vincent go? How could you let our son go?
Julian: You should have let Spike die instead.
Sheridan: I'm sorry. I tried to hold on, but I was losing both of them.
Julian: You could have saved our son.
Sheridan: Julian, you don't understand. Please, help me.
Eve: Why should we help you? Spike is a monster. He tried to kill his own wife. He's just a pimp.
Julian: You don't know how many people he's killed. Why did you save him and not our son?
Sheridan: I told you, Vincent slipped out of my hand. They are both slipping.
Julian: Why didn't you just let this bastard die?
Spike: Don't let me go. No, no.
Miguel: You want these for our wedding? Baby, what happened to them? They look like they exploded or something.
Kay: Oh, they're just old. They're just old. We're gonna get new ones, though, right, Tabitha?
Tabitha: Oh, yes, yes. [Yawns] Oh, well, I think we've all investigated the attic long enough. Why don't we all go down to bed, huh?
Kay: Oh, good idea.
Miguel: Yeah, good idea. You know, I just can't shake the feeling of why I feel like something strange has been going on up here.
Tabitha: Kay, do something. Use your feminine wiles.
Kay: Ok. Come on, let's talk about it in bed. Let's go.
Miguel: You know what? Something --
Kay: Don't talk!
Miguel: Ok, ok, ok.
Norma: Whew, that was close.
Edna: That kid is gonna get us all sent to hell in that basement again. You just --
Tabitha: Yes, you're right. She's going to go too far one day, and then there'll be no turning back.
Basil: Oh, yes, and I've been having a feeling that that day is coming very soon.
[Romantic Latin music playing]
Pretty: Ugh, it's making me sick. I can't watch this anymore.
Alistair: Wait, wait, wait.
Alistair: Did you mean it when you said you loved me?
Pretty: Of course, Grampy. I love you. I would do anything for you.
Alistair: I'm going to give you a chance to prove that, my Pretty. [Chuckles]
Spike: Help me.
Sheridan: Julian, help me. Help me pull him up.
Julian: Why should I when you let Vincent die?
Sheridan: Please, help me. He's going to pull me over.
Julian: All right, all right.
Spike: Thank you, thank you. Thank you, thank you.
Eve: Why would you save Spike instead of our son?
Sheridan: I told you, I didn't mean for anyone to die. I tried to save both of them, but Vincent slipped out of my hand.
Julian: It's why I don't believe you. I think you let go of Vincent's so you could grab Spike with both your hands.
Eve: Why would you that, Sheridan?
Sheridan: I didn't. I didn't, I swear.
Julian: All right. Let's go, Eve. We have to call the coast guard and have them try to find Vincent's body.
Eve: And the police, so they can arrest this bum.
Julian: You should have let him die, Sheridan. He has nothing to look forward to -- except a life in prison. Come.
Spike: Hey, hey. Let's get the hell out of here.
Sheridan: Wait. Wait, wait, wait. You said that my son is alive. Where is he?
Spike: No, no, I can't talk about that now. Later. We got to get the hell out of here before the cops get here, all right?
Sheridan: No, you are not going anywhere until you tell me where my son is.
Theresa: Ethan, can you hear me? You need to wake up. You need to talk to me. I'm not going to stop talking to you until you do.
Theresa: If you can hear me, squeeze my hand. If you can understand me, squeeze my hand. Please.
Theresa: Oh, my God. Mama? Oh, my God, he just -- he can hear me. Oh, my God.
Pilar: Thank God.
Theresa: He knows. He knows that we have a son.
Pilar: Yes, mija. And that will give him even more reason to live.
Theresa: Yes, and I hope he forgives me for keeping it from him, Mama.
Pilar: Of course he will, mija. He loves you. He'll forgive you for anything. And now you're going to finally be a family together. He's going to be so happy. Love conquers all, mija.
Theresa: Yes. Oh, God, I hope so, Mama.
Rebecca: Oh, no. If Ethan really did hear Theresa and he knows that Little Ethan is his son, then he's happy about it. It's too late for my Gwennie. She's lost him.
Theresa: You have to get better so that we can be a family -- with our son and our daughter. Oh!
Pilar: His eyes, did you see?
Theresa: I know, yes.
Pilar: I really believe he heard you.
