Tabitha: This place is like a crypt without your naughty little self. Oh, Endora, I do miss you so much.

{Tabitha: Endora, sweetheart, it's time for Mommy to go now. But you're going to make lots of friends here and you're going to learn a lot about magic.

Tabitha: You see, sweetheart, it's -- it's -- it's too dangerous. So, you'll soon settle down and -- and -- and then Mommy will be back for you.} Wonder if she's missing me as much as I'm missing her. I know. I could sneak a peek and see how she's doing, see how she's adjusting to the good witches school. Well, that wouldn't hurt anything.

[Tabitha sighs]

Esmerelda: Good girl, Endora. You're going to be the best witch ever by the time you graduate.

Gwen: Ok, so you have felt like killing Theresa, too?

Sheridan: The blackmailer said that if I did it, Luis would be clear of all false charges and free from prison. Not only that, but he would bring Pretty back to Harmony.

Gwen: Hmm, so Luis would find out what Fancy did and of course, he would break up with her and get back together with you.

Sheridan: But only if I kill Theresa. I told that thing that the price was just too high. I am not a murderer. But sometimes this feeling comes over me and I feel like I could actually do it. No, it's worse than that, I want to do it.

Gwen: I feel the exact same way and you know how much I hate Theresa. But I'm still no more capable of killing her in cold blood than you are.

Demon elf: [Imitating Sammy Davis, Jr.] Oh no, babe, that's what you think. Chekow, chekow.

[Eve sighs]

Whitney: Mom, hi, um...

Eve: Hi, sweetheart.

Whitney: Can I talk to you for a second?

Eve: I'd like that very much.

Whitney: Ok, I just wanted to tell you I'm sorry for what I said before. I mean, obviously, it's not your fault that Chad cheated on me with Vincent.

Eve: Yes, it is. My half-sister Liz always told me the chickens would come home to roost for me, that my deep, dark secrets would hurt everyone that I love most. She was right.

Theresa: Chad.

Chad: Hey.

Theresa: What's going on?

Chad: I'm desperate, Theresa, I didn't know who else to turn to.

[Door closes]

Theresa: This is about Whitney?

Chad: Yeah, everything is about Whitney. I mean, she is my wife, the mother to my son and my unborn baby.

Theresa: Well, you should have thought about that before you broke her heart, before you cheated on her with Vincent. At the very least, you should have told her the truth before she found out in the worst possible way.

Chad: I couldn't, Theresa. I mean, I wanted to, but I was too scared. Now come on, you of all people should know how that feels. You should have told Ethan that he was your son's biological father, but you didn't.

Theresa: No, I can't, ok. He would hate me.

Chad: That's exactly how I felt about telling Whitney about Vincent. But you know what, we both know from experience, secrets always come out, right? Do you want Ethan to find out about this from someone else, when you should have been the one to tell him?

Ethan: You've made the right choice.

Blackmailer: I'm scared.

Ethan: I know you're scared. Anybody in your position would be scared, but my father happens to be the chief of police and I'll make sure that you are treated with respect. No one is going to hurt you.

Blackmailer: Really? You'd do that for me?

Ethan: Sure. I'm your friend now. I will be with you every step of the way, ok?

Blackmailer: All right, call Chief Bennett, call the police. I'm ready to turn myself in and make a full confession

Theresa: The secret that I'm keeping from Ethan -- that's a far cry from the one that you kept from Whitney.

Chad: Is it? I mean, if you ask me, I had more reason not to be honest with Whitney. I mean, she'd be hurt, but Ethan would be thrilled to learn that Little Ethan is his son.

Theresa: Yeah, but he would also hate me for not telling him sooner.

Chad: Right, you'd do whatever you could to hold on to his love, right?

Theresa: Anything.

Chad: And that is how I justified not being honest with Whitney. You know, I am not defending my lies, I'm trying to explain why I told them. Theresa, look, I still love her and I'll do whatever it takes to keep my family and my marriage together. To be honest with you, I am dying here without her. Theresa, if you could just talk to her for me.

Theresa: She won't listen to me, Chad.

Chad: Theresa, you're her best friend, ok? If you could just tell her how sorry I am, how much I love her, and how I want to make this up to her, I'd owe you for the rest of my life, Theresa, please.

Theresa: Yeah, of course. I'll definitely talk to her, but I'm not going to make any promises. I really don't think there's anything that I can say that's gonna make her forgive you any more than anyone could get Ethan to forgive me if he found out the truth.

Eve: I love you, Whitney, and I am so sorry that all my secrets and lies have hurt you. All I ever wanted to be was just a good mother and I've failed totally at it.

Whitney: Mom, no, no, you did not fail.

Eve: I failed Simone, and I failed you, and perhaps most of all I've failed the son that I've never even known.

Whitney: But, Mom, listen to me, that wasn't your fault. Your son was kidnapped from the hospital right after he was born. So he can't blame you for that.

Eve: I just hope he understands that I never stopped loving him. I hope he lets me just spend the rest of my life making it up to him.

Ethan: Yeah, this is Ethan Winthrop, get me Chief Bennett immediately. It's an emergency, please. Thank you. They are going to patch me -- oh, damn it, damn it.

Tabitha: There you are. She has already forgotten her mommy.

Esmerelda: Honestly, Endora, you're a born natural. I wasn't sure you had the right stuff, your mother being Tabitha, and your father that immoral mortal Julian Crane. But I am very pleased with your progress.

[Tabitha sighs]

Tabitha: I know boarding school is the right thing for Endora right now, but I do miss her so. If only she could stay at the good witch school and I could be close by somewhere. But as Esmerelda said, I wasn't allowed to -- wait a minute, why didn't I think of that? Endora keeps going on about her having a kitty, a kitty of her own. Esmerelda wouldn't be able to refuse me if I was a cat. Oh, forgive me, Endora, it will have to be black. White is not a good color for me.

Esmerelda: Now, the quill.

[Endora whispers]

Esmerelda: Very good, child. I believe you are every bit as intelligent as your mom. Let's just hope we can put your intelligence to good use rather than bad. Where'd he come from? Scat, we're having lessons.

Esmerelda: Well...

[Cell phone buzzes]

Eve: Oh, I have a text message. It's from Valerie.

Whitney: Really? What'd she say?

Eve: She says that my son wants to meet me... now!

Whitney: Oh, my God! Well, where?

Eve: At Valerie's house. Oh, my gosh, Whitney, this is finally going to happen.

Whitney: Oh, my gosh, I -- I have to come with you, right? Because I don't want you to go by yourself, you know what I mean, and besides I want to meet my brother.

Eve: No, she says he wants to meet me with just the two of us this first time, but next time.

Whitney: Ok, if you are sure.

Eve: Oh, I have never been so sure of anything in my life.

Whitney: Well, good luck, Mom, oh, my gosh.

Eve: Oh, thank you, baby. Oh, I have been waiting for this moment for so long and now that it's happening, I feel like I can barely breathe.

Whitney: You're going to be great. He's going to love you, just as much as I do.

Eve: Oh, I hope so. Thank you baby, ok.

Whitney: Ok, go, go.

Gwen: As many times as I have wished Theresa dead, I have never actually pictured myself killing her until I started to get these urges.

Sheridan: Same with me, I mean, when the feeling comes over me, it's so overwhelming that I can't think of anything else. Last time, I almost acted on it.

Gwen: Ok, what do we do if this happens again and we can't stop this feeling?

Sheridan: I don't know, but I am scared, Gwen. I don't think I have ever been so scared.

Gwen: You know, the last time this urge came over me, I almost killed my own mother.

Sheridan: Oh, my God, Gwen.

Gwen: Yeah, I really feel like I am going insane.

Sheridan: If you are, then so am I. Look, we have to do something about this.

Gwen: Well, not the police.

Sheridan: No, I've got a better idea. Look, come on, come with me.

Demon elf: Where do they think they're going? Ladies?

Esmerelda: Not that hand, dear.

Esmerelda: So you did. Now we'll do something even more fun. Since you're so good at levitation, we'll move on to spinning.

Tabitha's voice: Cut that out, Esmerelda. Drat it, she can't hear me. [In high-pitched voice] Oh no!

Esmerelda: Isn't this fun, Endora?

Tabitha: Hell-ow-ow-ow --

Ethan: I feel sorry for this thing. I know it's committed some horrible things, but it's sick. This -- this blackmailer is sick, he's desperate.

Chad: Well, you said he opened up to you a little bit. Did he talk to you about anybody other than himself?

Ethan: You mean Theresa? No, wish he would have, it would have given me something to go on.

Chad: Well, you know, maybe that secret is one of those "watch what you wish for" things.

Ethan: Chad, I need to know what it is, all right? Whatever it is, it can't be that bad.

Chad: But what if it is? Look, all I'm saying is be careful. It's like the genie in the bottle -- once it gets out, you can't put him back in.

Ethan: What are -- what are you saying?

Chad: Look, all I am saying is Theresa has done some desperate things to keep you from finding out. Has it ever occurred to you that she might know what she is doing? That if you find out, you might not forgive her?

Whitney: I know you feel like you are doing the right thing by withholding the truth, but --

Theresa: I'm not telling him, Whitney. Look, you know, sometimes things, they just spin out of control and it's impossible. I guess I kind of understand what Chad was saying.

Whitney: Ok, let's just not talk about that right now, I really don't want to --

Theresa: No, just give me a second here, ok, please. You and Chad, you broke up and he turned to Vincent to mend his lonely, broken heart, right?

Whitney: I told you, I really, really don't want to get into this.

Theresa: Ok, one more sec, you guys somehow managed to get back together and he tried to break things off with Vincent, but Vincent wouldn't let him. It had already gone too far. You know, if he would have turned back, it would have just caused this huge amount of pain.

Whitney: Let me get this straight. Are you defending Chad?

Theresa: No, I'm not defending Chad, I am not defending Chad, ok. I am just -- I am saying that I understand that he felt that he could control something that he couldn't. You know, it was already too late. It was like a lose-lose situation. It's the same way for me and Ethan.

Gwen: Wait a second, do you think this is really going to work?

Sheridan: I don't know where else to turn. We've gotta do something to fight these evil impulses.

Gwen: Ok, well, I guess whatever is going to stop either one of us from killing someone is worth a shot.

Sheridan: Yeah.

Demon elf: [Grunting and mumbling] [Imitating James Brown] Waaah, huh, in a sanctuary can't go inside gonna burn me to a crisp hey-hey gonna wait till they come out uh wait till they come out uh, uh, uh, uh wow

Sheridan: Father? It's me, Sheridan, and Gwen.

Father Lonigan: I'm glad you came. I sensed your deep distress over the phone.

Gwen: And you said you weren't completely surprised.

Father Lonigan: Well, I can't say that I am. Still it troubles me. For some time now, I felt that there was a presence of evil among us.

Sheridan: And not the blackmailer?

Father Lonigan: No, no, something much darker, something much more purely evil, out of this world.

Gwen: Well, we were talking and it turns out we've both been feeling these same terrible things.

Sheridan: Yes, having awful thoughts, urges to hurt people --

Gwen: To kill people. It's almost like we're possessed, Father.

Father Lonigan: It's as I feared. The demons are here. They have been unleashed upon us. If we cannot rid them from our presence, we are doomed.

Eve: Oh. Oh, gosh. I am finally going to get to see my son. Thank you.

[Eve knocks on door]

Eve: Valerie? I'm here, it's Eve.

Eve: Hello? Anybody here?

Chad: You just better be damn sure you want to find out what Theresa is keeping from you.

Ethan: I am damn sure. It's the only thing in our way, and we'd be together if I knew what it was.

Chad: Maybe, maybe not.

Ethan: All right, look, you sound like you know a lot more about what's going than you are leading me to believe.

Chad: Look, all I am saying is doesn't it tell you something that she is so desperate to keep this from you that she would hitch up with a guy she doesn't even love.

Ethan: She -- she didn't have any choice, Chad.

Chad: That's what I am talking about.

Ethan: Point taken, ok, but you know Theresa. She is dramatic, she over-exaggerates, and I think she has taken this secret a lot farther than she needs to. I keep reassuring her that there is nothing in the world that she could keep from me or tell me that would change the way I feel about her. But she doesn't just buy it.

Chad: Did it ever occur to you that she's not exaggerating this time? That whatever she is hiding could make you hate her forever?

Ethan: No, no, I have racked my brain for weeks trying to think what could Theresa possibly be hiding from me. And I'm sorry, but I have come to the conclusion that there is nothing that she could be keeping from me that would make me walk away from her, absolutely nothing.

Chad: I hope you feel that way when you find out what it is.

Ethan: I will.

Chad: I thought nothing could tear me and Whitney apart, now look at us. I'd hate to see the same thing happen to you guys.

Theresa: Look, I know you don't want to hear this, but I do know what Chad is going through.

Whitney: Honestly, I don't see how, I mean, unless you are having an affair with my sister now.

Theresa: I'm just, you know, I'm saying that Chad betrayed you with Vincent just like I am betraying Ethan by not telling him the truth about his son.

Whitney: Look, I really don't get that part of it, you know what I mean? Nothing would make Ethan happier than to find out Little Ethan is his son.

Theresa: Maybe, but he'd hate me. You remember how he felt when he found out that his mother had been lying to him about who his real father was? He has never gotten over that deception, Whitney.

Whitney: No, that's not true, Ethan and Ivy get along.

Theresa: He will never trust her the same way ever again. And he is going to think that my lie is worse.

Whitney: I don't know about that. I just know that he loves you very much.

Theresa: And you loved Chad once very much.

Whitney: No, no, that's different. Theresa, Chad cheated on me. It's completely different. I mean, every time I hear his name, every time I think about him, all I can do is think about him being with Vincent.

Theresa: Ok, would you feel better if it were another woman?

Whitney: I don't -- may-- look, I don't know, all right. All I know is I can't stand it. I don't know who Chad is anymore, I don't even know who I married. So if you're asking me if I can forgive him, no, no, I don't think I can. You know what, I gotta get going, so I'll see you later, ok?

Theresa: All right.

Theresa: And that's why I can never tell Ethan the truth because he'd just walk away from me and never look back. He can never know what I have done, never.

Eve: Valerie? I'm here, it's Eve. Well, the text message said to come right over. Hello? Anybody here?

Blackmailer: Yes, I'm here.

[Demon elf imitating James Brown and grunting]

Gwen: I am so sorry, but I have to go.

Sheridan: Already? I think we need to pray for more strength.

Gwen: No, Sheridan, you stay, I have just a ton of errands to do and I will be fine.

Sheridan: Are you sure?

Gwen: Yes, listen, I have spent the better part of my adult life battling Theresa. Whatever is out there trying to control me can't be that tough.

Father Lonigan: Don't count on it, Gwen.

Gwen: I appreciate your concern, Father, but there is not a demon in existence who could hurt me more than Theresa already has. I'll talk to you later. Father, thank you.

Sheridan: I'm scared, Father.

Father Lonigan: You should be, my child.

Demon elf: [Imitating James Brown] She's all mine I believe.

Tabitha's voice: Ooh, ooh, put me down, you goody-two-shoes witch. Stop, stop or I will throw up all over you.

Esmerelda: Did you like that, Endora? Perhaps, but I need some colored chalk from my office. Would you get it for me, dear?

Esmerelda: The jig's up, Tabitha, I know it's you.

Tabitha: That was a hellish, mean-spirited little trick, Esmerelda, and you call yourself a good witch.

Esmerelda: Just trying to make a point. I know you miss Endora.

Tabitha: More than you can possibly imagine. That's why I had to come and see her.

Esmerelda: But it has only been a few hours.

Tabitha: Oh, yes, yes I know, but it seems like an eternity and I started to thinking about those bad witches who witch-napped my daughter and I had to check up on her.

Esmerelda: I feel for you, Tabitha, I really do. But rules are rules. I promise you, Endora will be safe and sound here. Even if the crones aren't smashed to atoms, they won't come near here. They can't stomach so much goodness.

Tabitha: Yes, well, I am sure you are right. They're probably all dead, anyway. I have nothing to worry about. [Laughter]

Bad witch: Lucretia, do I look dead to you?

Lucretia: No more so than usual, Griselda. [Laughter]

Lucretia: How is Aggravania?

Griselda: Still in Dr. Crippen's hospital, thanks to that miserable Kay Bennett and her powers. But I am still standing.

Lucretia: And I am happy to step in for her.

Griselda: We ain't dead yet, Tabby-cakes. Oh, and guess what? We're gonna get your little girl and we're gonna get her soon. What kind of a mother is she? Sending her only daughter to good witch school. Oh, she will be ruined.

Lucretia: That child belongs to the dark side. We will teach her wrong from right and make sure she never does anything nice.

Griselda: It is our duty. Tabitha has certainly set a terrible example. She is not capable of teaching her the non-virtue of evil. We need to intervene.

Lucretia: The sooner, the better. [Laughter]

Sheridan: May I ask you something, Father?

Father Lonigan: Anything, my child.

Sheridan: Would it be terribly wrong if I brought my niece back to Harmony?

Father Lonigan: Fancy is already here.

Sheridan: No, no, I am not talking about Fancy. I mean her sister, Pretty.

Father Lonigan: Why would you want to do that?

Sheridan: Well, she's my niece, we're family, I miss her.

Father Lonigan: Is that the whole reason?

Sheridan: What other reason would there be?

Father Lonigan: I know what happened, I know the whole story.

Sheridan: Oh, I didn't realize.

Father Lonigan: Obviously not. Fancy came to me years ago. She told me everything.

Sheridan: And you forgave her?

Father Lonigan: I admit I was shocked, but we are not speaking about her now. I am more concerned about you.

Sheridan: Why?

Father Lonigan: If your intention is to bring Pretty home, my guess is it's to ruin Fancy's relationship with Luis. You think once he finds out about Fancy's past with her sister, he will leave Fancy and come back to you.

Sheridan: Well, what's wrong with that?

Father Lonigan: What's wrong with that is that your intention is impure. You may very well gain Luis, but I can assure you you will lose your soul.

[Sheridan sighs]

Demon elf: [Impersonating James Brown] Yay she's out the church gonna give me what I need uh, uh, uh make sure get on up possess her mind feed on her anger make her kill Theresa ha ha hey uh, uh, uh

Gwen: Hmm, I wonder where Theresa is.

Demon elf: Hit me two times someone's gonna die, yeah someone's gonna die, yeah

Tabitha: [Sighs] Oh. I hope you know how much Mommy loves you, sweet pea. And as much as it hurts to be without you, Esmerelda is right. For you to be at the good witches school is the right place, right now at this point in time. That way, none of those ghastly hags from the dark side can get their claws into you. They will be too frightened of all the sweetness and light. So you will be safe.

Lucretia: Is she in there?

Griselda: With that revoltingly pure-of-heart Esmerelda, talk about corrupting innocent children.

Lucretia: She's brainwashing how to be good.

Griselda: Oh, don't worry about that. We'll undo all of that when she is with us.

Lucretia: And how.

Griselda: There's one problem, Lucretia. How do we get her out of there? You know what happens when we enter the circle of light.

Lucretia: Don't remind me. My hair has never been the same since the last time we visited the good side. But I have an idea.

Griselda: Ooh, do tell.

[Griselda gasps]

Griselda: Is that what I think it is?

Lucretia: You bet your bitter bippy, sister. The trusty green knockout juice -- it will overpower anything nice in our path just long enough for us to snatch Endora and whisk her away. The holier-than-thou Esmerelda will never know what hit her.

Griselda: And Tabitha will never lay eyes on Endora again. [Laughter]

Esmerelda: Thank you, darling. You are the apple of your mommy's eyes and mine, too.

Father Lonigan: You came here for spiritual strength, so I will tell you. If you bring Pretty Crane back here for the wrong reasons, your soul will pay dearly.

Sheridan: But you know how much I love Luis, how happy we once were together.

Father Lonigan: That is no excuse. Both your lives have changed greatly since then. I feel sorry for your plight, but Luis has moved on with Fancy, Pretty's sister.

Sheridan: She is no good for him. That is why I made a bargain with the blackmailer to free him from prison.

Father Lonigan: But you must realize, his freedom will not bring him home to you.

Sheridan: I know, I know and I am not proud of the reasons why I want to bring Pretty back home. I have no idea where she even is, but the blackmailer said it could arrange it.

Father Lonigan: The very fact that you are telling me this says to me that you know you have made a devil's bargain. Your conscience is telling you that it is wrong. Whatever the blackmailer wants you to do, you must not obey. This is a tortured soul with a view of life that is warped and twisted. You, however, know better.

Sheridan: I can't live without Luis.

Father Lonigan: My child, you must know that deep down, if you do what the blackmailer tells you, that it will ultimately destroy you.

Whitney: Oh!

Chad: Uh --

Whitney: Excuse me, I didn't see you, I'm sorry --

Chad: Whitney, wait a second, wait a second, I need to talk to you.

Whitney: Chad, there is nothing you can say that I want to hear.

Chad: Whitney, please, just do it for our children's sake, ok?

Whitney: Don't do that, no, don't use our children to get to me, Chad, that's not fair.

Chad: Look, I'm not, I'm not, ok? I just don't know any other way to get through to you. Whitney, I love you, ok. I know I haven't been acting like it, but I do. I made a terrible, terrible mistake that I'd do anything in the world to be able to undo, but I can't. I think we can get past this, Whitney, if you just give me another chance.

Whitney: All right, just -- just don't do this.

Chad: Whitney, I will do whatever you want, ok. I will work my tail off to make this up to you to show you how much you and our family mean to me. Whitney, if you give me another shot, I won't ever let you down again, honest to God.

Whitney: Um, just sounds funny, you bringing God into this, into such a Godless situation. Where was God when you were off having sex with Vincent? I mean, everything that you professed to care about -- me, our family -- God went right out the window then, didn't it? Everything I thought you really cared about.

Chad: Whitney, I did -- I do care about those things.

Whitney: You know what, you say you don't want to hurt me, you say you don't want to destroy our marriage, but it seems like your urge to have sex is stronger than anything else. And what's to say it's not going to happen again?

Chad: It is not going to happen again, Whitney, I swear.

Whitney: But what is sad is I can't believe a word that comes out of your mouth and I never will.

Eve: Is that you? I can't tell you what this moment means to me. This is like a dream come true for me, I have wanted it for so long and I am so grateful that you wanted to meet me.

Blackmailer: I've been looking forward to it, too.

On the Next Passions:

Theresa: I can't lose Ethan. He can never find out the truth.

Demon elf: You know what to do, Gwen. [With Austrian accent] Do it, come on, do it.

Gwen: I know what I have to do.

[Theresa yells]

[Theresa choking]

Tabitha: Endora is absolutely, perfectly safe.

Lucretia: Endora, you are coming to the dark side.

Ethan: Theresa, come on, you can't be dead.
