Ivy: Ok, just sit down here. I need to change your bandage.

Fancy: Careful.

Ivy: Oh, Fancy, I cannot believe that you have an acid burn.

Fancy: Isn't it insane?

[Fancy gasps]

Ivy: Sorry.

Fancy: Yet when I woke up in the end, there was Luis. Standing over me, holding the jar. I still can't believe Luis would throw acid on me.

Ivy: Well, neither can I.

Fancy: Well, you've certainly changed your tune. You wanted to string him up for attacking me. And if you hadn't insisted on a favor from Mayor Anawalt, Luis wouldn't have been arrested in the first place.

Ivy: Yes, I know.

Fancy: Even I have to admit every bit of evidence points to Luis as the attacker. Which almost never happens in any typical criminal case.

Ivy: I know. All this evidence -- it's just so perfect.

Fancy: Are you honestly admitting that you were wrong about Luis?

Ivy: Of course not. Maybe.

Fancy: Oh, Mother, I can't believe you. What made you change your mind?

Ivy: The fact that Luis is on the lam. Please. He's always been a Boy Scout. It's not like him to run away from his problems. I don't know. There's just more going on here than I understand.

Fancy: Now he's a Boy Scout? You thought he was a rapist.

Ivy: Ok, I overreacted. I'm trying to say I'm sorry.

Fancy: Well, you should say that to Pilar and Luis. If we ever find him.

Ivy: Honey, the reason I lashed out is because I was frightened for you. I've had my run-ins with Luis in the past. Although I have to admit that he was usually right, at least morally. I saw the way Pilar raised those children. I know that Luis is the best of them. And all this evidence, it's just -- it's too perfect.

Fancy: I can't stop thinking about it. I love Luis with all my heart, but all the evidence points to him as my attacker.

Luis: Damn it, another dead end.  I wish I could call Fancy.  No, Ethan's right.  I can't call her.  Not til I can prove that i didn't attack her.  How the hell am I gonna clear my name?

Sheridan: Damn, Fancy.  That bitch is going to get Luis in trouble and killed if she's not careful.

Chris: Sheridan, there you are.  Where have you been? I've been trying to call, but you haven't been answering your cell.  Didn't you check your messages?

Sheridan: Sorry, I didn't check.

Chris: Nice.  After you ran out on me last night I brought James up here to see you.

Sheridan: I'm really sorry if I upset you.  Things have been crazy.  Luis has been arrested for Rae's murder and for throwing acid on Fancy.

Chris: What?

Sheridan: I know, it sounds bizarre.  It's bad.  Fancy woke up screaming because someone dripped acid on her and there was Luis holding the jar.

Chris: Well, then maybe he did it.

Sheridan: No!  He said he struggled with the attacker, and I believe him.  Fancy said that all she saw was Luis and that's what she told Sam, and Sam arrested him.  What's worse is Luis escaped.

Chris: Idiot. Even if he didn't do it, now everybody's going to think he did.

Sheridan: Well, it's all a lie. And I really think that Fancy is losing her mind. I mean, if she doesn't stop this nonsense then Luis is going to go to prison for life. Or worse.

[Knock on door]

Ethan: Come in.

Chad: Hey, Ethan. What are you up to?

Ethan: Hey, Chad. Oh, God. Luis, Luis, and more Luis. Theresa's got me working nonstop to try to make sure that her brothers get a fair shake in court. But it's not easy now that Luis is a fugitive from the law. It's going to take every ounce of money and power that Theresa has to make sure they get off the hook.

Chad: What a mess. It's got to be hard.

Ethan: You know, I'm used to hard work but this case is taking over everything. I don't even have a moment for my own life. I tried calling Gwen, with no luck whatsoever. Looks like she's gone full steam ahead with this divorce.

Chad: Sorry about that. It's got to hurt.

Ethan: Yeah, but -- but at least now I have the chance to finally be with Theresa.

Chad: How do you do it?

Ethan: What?

Chad: Move from Theresa to Gwen without even a second thought.

Whitney: Theresa, honey, you can't be serious about this. There has to be another way.

Theresa: No, Whitney, there is no other way. I'm going just to do exactly what the blackmailer wants. Otherwise my brothers will end up in prison, or even worse. I'm going to obey the blackmailer, and what he wants is for me to marry Jared right now.

Ethan: Look, it's not like I'm going from Gwen to Theresa without a second thought, Chad.

Chad: Looks that way to me.

Ethan: Chad, you know how this thing has been driving the three of us crazy for years now. At least this triangular relationship, or whatever it is, is coming to an end.

Chad: Yeah, at the expense of your marriage. Ethan, doesn't that bother you at all?

Ethan: Of course it bothers me. What is wrong with you, man? I've tried calling Gwen numerous times to talk to her about this divorce. She won't call me back. What am I supposed to do? Her attorney gives me divorce papers. What choice do I have? And I still love her.

Chad: Yeah, but you love Theresa more. I mean, the only reason you were with Gwen is because of your wedding vows. But I guess they don't mean much, do they?

Ethan: That's not fair. Gwen called it quits. I didn't call it quits. And I do still love her.

Chad: Yeah, well, see, that's what I have trouble with. You being in love with two people at the same time.

Ethan: You think I planned this? My heart went its own way, Chad. What can I say? I get different things from two different women. That's the way it happened for me. I'll tell you what. You are right about one thing, Chad. I love Theresa more. I've been legally bound to Gwen for so long. But, yeah, my heart's always been with Theresa.

Whitney: Theresa, honey, you're the one who convinced me to support your relationship with Ethan. And now you're just going to quit on it.

Theresa: No, I don't have a choice. All right? The blackmailer says that he, or she, wants Ethan. The blackmailer shot Jared, so I kind of need to obey the blackmailer. Otherwise Luis will get the death penalty, Miguel will go to prison forever, and I'm not going to let that happen. I'm just going to stay away from Ethan.

Whitney: Ok, fine. Go ahead, stay away from Ethan. But don't marry Jared, honey. There has to be another way.

Theresa: There's no other way. That's what the blackmailer wants me to do, right? And he seems to know every move that I make before I even make it.

Whitney: Oh, God, I just wish I knew who this person was.

Theresa: I don't know. I really don't know.

[Knock on door]

Vincent: Hey, boss. I need to talk with you, uh, in private.

Theresa: You can speak in front of Whitney. We're best friends. We don't have any secrets from each other.

Vincent: If you say so.

Whitney: Vincent.

Vincent: Hey. Did you happen to meet the person who has the USB memory stick?

Theresa: Sort of. It didn't go very well.

Vincent: What happened?

Theresa: Long story short, Vincent, I did not get my hands on that memory stick.

Vincent: Sorry.

Theresa: Were you able to find the person who has it?

Vincent: No. It's strange, but even with all my contacts I can't get a lead anywhere. Whoever has it has their bases covered really well. I have no idea who or where they are.

Sheridan: If Fancy had kept her mouth shut, Luis wouldn't be in this mess.

Chris: Kept her mouth shut about being attacked with acid?

Sheridan: Yes. No one can possibly believe that Luis is this horrible criminal.

Chris: Except the mayor, the police, his best friend, Sam Bennett, who happens to be the chief of police. Look, this makes what I want to talk to you about even more painful.

Sheridan: What?

Chris: Well, before you ran out last night you told me that you still love Luis.

Sheridan: Well, of course I do. As a friend.

Chris: That's not what it sounded like.

Sheridan: I've loved Luis for years. I can't just turn it on and off.

Chris: Yeah, but where does that leave us, Sheridan? Every time I turn around it seems that you're focused on Luis, instead of on me and our son. Even just now.

Sheridan: Chris, I love you. You've given me everything I ever wanted. A happy marriage, a family.

Chris: How happy can it really be if you don't even give us the time of day, Sheridan?

Sheridan: That's not true. Even though I -- I might still have feelings for Luis, that doesn't mean I'm not wholly committed to our marriage.

Chris: You have a very interesting way of showing it.

Sheridan: I am. Look, we made promises to each other on that beach in Hawaii and I intend to keep them.

Chris: Don't you know how much I want to believe that? But it's difficult, Sheridan. Especially when your wife still longs for another man.

Sheridan: I never said that.

Chris: You didn't have to.

Sheridan: Look, we both have pasts. What about Maureen? We both love people from our pasts. But isn't that ok, if we're both committed to loving each other for the present and future?

Luis: Oh, Fancy.

Luis: I could just call her.

Luis: No, I can't. Damn it. Sam's probably already tapped her phone.

Fancy: The evidence against Luis is overwhelming. I don't know what to think anymore. I mean, I know I love him. But there's a part of me that's unsure about him.

Ivy: Then you think that he --

Fancy: No, no. God, no. I don't know. I just -- I wish I could get some answers.

[Telephone rings]

Fancy: Hello?

Fancy: Hello?

Ivy: Who is it?

Fancy: Hello? Luis, is that you?

Chris: I'm glad we talked. It's good to have these things out in the open.

Sheridan: Well, we can get beyond all this. We don't have to live in fear that our past loves will destroy what we have now.

Chris: You know, our schedules are so crazy we barely get to see each other. How about we spend some R&R time together?

Sheridan: That sounds wonderful.

Chris: I'll go make us some lunch?

Sheridan: Great.

Sheridan: There must be some way that I can find Luis and help him. But how? Where could he be?

Luis: That was dumb. I can't call Fancy until I can figure out who did this.

Ivy: Do you really think it was Luis?

Fancy: I don't know. Whoever it was didn't say a word. Oh, Mother, I am so scared for him. Wherever he is, I pray he's ok.

Ethan: Ok, Chad. Why don't we put our cards on the table here. Who are we talking about, you or me?

Chad: What?

Ethan: I can tell you're upset about something. Why don't you talk to me about it?

Chad: You're way off base.

Ethan: Really?

Chad: Yeah.

Ethan: Well, I hate to pry but it looks like I'm going to have to. Is it Whitney or what?

Chad: No, no. It isn't Whitney, ok? She's the love of my life. She's beautiful and sweet.

Ethan: Chad, this wouldn't by any chance have anything to do with what you let slip right here in this office a couple of months ago, when we had a little talk about adultery?

Chad: Shoot.

Ethan: Hey, come on. I'm your friend. I hope you know there is nothing you can't tell me.

Chad: Yeah, Ethan, I know that.

Ethan: So come on.

Chad: It's just -- it makes me feel so dirty. But I know I should talk to somebody about this. You're right, there is something going on. You know, when I thought Whitney was my half-sister and she refused to see me, I -- well, I met someone else. Someone who, uh, became very special to me. But it's not love. God, no, it's not. Well, the problem is Whitney came back into my life and I tried to break things off with this person, but I can't. I mean, I'm stuck, Ethan. And I am so scared Whitney's going to find out. Because if she finds out, it is going to kill her.

Whitney: Well, Vincent, I have to say you really have not been much help here. Theresa is paying you big money to find out who has that USB memory stick and you've come up empty.

Vincent: Look, I'm trying. My sources can't come up with anything.

Whitney: Well, I think you need to try harder. We have to figure this out.

Vincent: I'll keep looking, ok?

Theresa: Don't bother, Vincent.

Whitney: What are you talking about?

Theresa: I lost, all right? The blackmailer won.

Whitney: Ok.

Theresa: Thank you very much, Vincent, for your efforts. But I won't be needing your services anymore.

Vincent: Don't you want to give me, like, a little bit more information so that I can look harder? I mean, I --

Theresa: And have it show up on the cover of "Daily Private Lives"? No, thank you.

Vincent: Well, you can't blame a guy for trying.

Theresa: Look, I'll send your check in the mail. Just remember not to say a word of this to anyone, ok?

Vincent: You're the boss.

Whitney: Wow, this is kind of hard to believe. You're just going to throw in the towel. You're just going to give up.

Theresa: Look, I don't have a choice. All right? I've got to do exactly what the blackmailer wants, to save my brothers. And that means stay away from Ethan and marry Jared. So will you help me pick out a dress for the wedding?

Ethan: Chad, I'm sorry, man. I mean, is there anything I can do for you?

Chad: Just listen, I guess. I've screwed up, Ethan. I've got to get past this before my whole life is wrecked.

Ethan: Then just stop it.

Chad: I can't. I can't get out of this.

Ethan: What are you talking about? What, is this woman threatening you or something?

Chad: Yeah, this woman. Yeah, Ethan, you know it's, uh, it's more than just that. It's me. I mean, I think I'm actually addicted to sex. I can't stop. I mean, I tell myself that I'm never going to see this -- this woman again. That I'm never going to go visit that sleazy motel anymore. But then I just -- I watch myself drive over there, time after time after time. I can't resist.

Ethan: I actually understand. That's the way it was with me and Theresa. No matter what I did to try to stay away from her, I couldn't. It's like the cliché of the moth being drawn to the flame. You know, that's me. I guess that's how it is when it's your -- when it's your true love, you know?

Chad: Well, if she's your true love I think you've got the wrong cliché. The moth always gets destroyed by the flame.

Ethan: Yes, it does. But as long as we're drawing parallels here, Chad, did you ever consider that that's maybe what's going on with you? That this other woman is your Theresa? Is your true love?

Chad: No, no. Absolutely not.

Ethan: Ok.

Chad: It is sex, that's it. I just -- I've got to get past this addiction, man. I love Whitney. I love making love to her. I can't lose her. I just, um, don't know how to get past this.

[Knock on door]

Vincent: Oh, it's a party. Hey, guys, am I interrupting anything?

Theresa: You look great. I'm glad.

Jared: Well, it takes a lot to kill a Casey.

Nurse: You can stay for a while. But don't you upset him, ok?

Theresa: Oh, no, I won't. I love him too much to do that.

Nurse: And you. Keep quiet or you're going to feel the back of my hand.

Jared: Is that a promise?

Theresa: Well, somebody's definitely feeling better.

[Jared groans]

Theresa: Oh, my gosh. I am -- I'm so sorry.

Theresa: You almost lost your life because of me.

Theresa's voice: And now I'm hurting you even more.

Luis: I am just wasting my time. I can't find anything that points to who keeps attacking Fancy.

[Knock on door]

Luis: Ethan and Theresa are the only ones that know I'm here. And they'd call first.

Chris: Well, it's a deli extravaganza. I've got turkey, pastrami -- Sheridan? Where are you?

Chris: Where did she go?

Luis: You're not getting away from me this time.

Sheridan: Stop it, Luis! It's me!

Luis: Oh, my God. Sheridan, I am so sorry.

Sheridan: Oh, my God.

Luis: What the hell are you doing here?

Sheridan: I'm worried sick about you. I wanted to make sure you were ok.

Luis: My God. How did you find me?

Sheridan: Well, first I did a computer check to find you. But you know how that goes. You need a few bits of hard evidence to search with or you go nowhere fast.

Luis: Yeah, tell me about it.

Sheridan: Yeah.

Luis: Oh, boy.

Sheridan: And then I thought Theresa must be helping you. Because in order to stay hidden, you need cash and a place to stay. And of course she'd be able to help you with that. And I knew that Crane Industries had several apartments that they keep for visiting executives when they come into town. So I started looking there, and this is the third one I checked.

Luis: Persistent.

Sheridan: [Laughing] Yeah.

Luis: I guess those are for me?

Sheridan: Of course. I have to make sure Harmony's number one master criminal eats right.

Luis: Thanks a lot.

Sheridan: Yeah.

Luis: But I don't want you any more involved in this than you already are. You know what? I'm just going to get the hell out of here.

Sheridan: No, Luis. No, you can't go.

Fancy: Ok, Mother. What can I do?

Ivy: Ok, you can lie down and get some rest. You need it.

Fancy: Rest? The man I love is on the run and half the world thinks he hurt me.

Ivy: Well, that is the way it looks.

Fancy: Do you honestly think Luis could have thrown acid on me?

Ivy: No, I don't. Not that Luis isn't capable of hurting someone. Because he is. All men are. Some women are good at it, too.

Fancy: Hmm. Women are better at it than men.

Ivy: I'm just saying that if Luis were going to hurt someone, he would do it out in the open. These sneaky attacks are just not his style.

Fancy: I think it was Aunt Sheridan.

Ivy: What?

Fancy: Yeah. She's still after Luis, Mother, and she's always doing her best to come between us. Under hypnosis I said a woman attacked me in my princess room. And Luis said the same thing when Dr. Russell hypnotized him. It had to have been Aunt Sheridan.

Ivy: Ok, Fancy, I know you're upset. But Sheridan? Look, it kills me to admit that it's not Luis. But now you're accusing your own aunt.

Fancy: Oh, come on, Mother. Think about the pain you caused and you weren't even born a Crane. Sheridan wants Luis back and she will stop at nothing until she gets her way.

Ivy: Ok, honey, look. Let's just take our emotions out of this and look at it logically. Even if Sheridan wants Luis, these attacks on you -- they were really sick and they were vicious. I honestly don't think that Sheridan is capable of these acts.

Fancy: Ok, maybe not. But whoever it was obviously doesn't want me anywhere near Luis. God, I love him so much. But even I can't trust him altogether, and what kind of love is that? Whoever is behind all of this has succeeded in driving us apart.

Ivy: Oh, honey. I'm sorry.

Chad: What the hell are you doing here? Don't you ever come to this building again. I work upstairs.

Vincent: Ooh, save the rough stuff for when we're in bed, lover.

Chad: You are out of control. Get the hell out of here.

Vincent: Ok, ok. Maybe I could drop by later at your house.  I'd love to have a little chat with Whitney.

Chad: Don't you -- listen to me, it's over. Why can't you just leave me alone? You've got Valerie. Isn't that enough for you?

Vincent: If one's good, two's better. You're not going to give me up, Chad. Or else, you know those home movies I made of the two of us in bed? Well, they're pretty hot. They'd be quite a hit on the internet, wouldn't you think? Oh, yeah. Or, you know, I could just send them to Whitney. Can you imagine the look on her face if she were to see those?

Chad: Hey.

Vincent: Oh, how convenient. I mean, I won't even have to go to her house. I could just talk to Whitney right now.

Chad: Listen to me. If you say one word to Whitney about us, I will kill you.

Jared: God, I love you. I'm glad to see you're still wearing my engagement ring.

Theresa: Of course I am.

Jared: So you haven't changed your mind and decided to call off the engagement?

Theresa: No, no. Now what would make you think that?

Jared: Oh, some crazy dream I had. You can't blame me for worrying. I mean, any guy who's lucky enough to have a beautiful angel like yourself fall into his life would be terrified of losing her.

Theresa: Well, I don't want you worrying about anything. Because I love you and I want to marry you.

Jared: I love you, too. I can't wait to get out of this bed.

Theresa: Uh, what?

Jared: Well, I hate to say it. But, um, what about Ethan? I know how torn you are between the two of us. It seems like every time you and I start to make a life for ourselves, he comes again and lures you away.

Theresa: Well, that's over. Ok? Ethan is my past and you are my future.

Jared: The cops have any leads on who shot me?

Theresa: No, no. But, uh, it's got to be that person who has that memory stick.

Jared: And you're still not sure who it is?

Theresa: No.

Jared: Hmm. Well, as soon as I get out of this bed I'm going to get that memory stick back for you.

Theresa: No, no. I don't even want you to worry about that anymore, ok? Because I am done with it.

Jared: Last I heard, you were really concerned about it.

{Person: I'm warning you. If you try to get back together with Ethan, I'll turn over that USB stick to the press. It will not only destroy you, it will destroy your family as well. Wouldn't it kill your mamacita to see your family destroyed? }

Theresa: Well, I was wrong. That memory stick doesn't mean anything to me anymore. You know, Jared, I just -- I realized that I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to forget about everything that's happened in our past. Focus on how we're going to spend the next 60 or 70 years of our lives together.

Chad: Keep your mouth shut or you're dead.

Whitney: So what's going on, guys? What are you whispering about over here?

Chad: Oh, nothing.

Vincent: You're just the person I wanted to see. I just dropped off some papers upstairs and I'm on my way out. Would you like to grab a cup of coffee with me? Valerie's going to join us.

Whitney: You want to get a cup of coffee with me?

Vincent: Mm-hmm.

Whitney: Um, sure. Why not?

Chad: No, actually she's not going to be able to make it.

Whitney: I'm not?

Chad: I, um, you know, I thought I was going to be able to go down to the day care and feed Miles his lunch. But I'm swamped here, baby.

Whitney: Oh.

Chad: Do you mind going down there and doing that for me?

Whitney: No. Of course I don't mind, honey.

Chad: I mean, I hate to drop this on you last minute.

Whitney: Babe, babe, it's fine.

Chad: Good.

Whitney: Well, I guess I'll see you later.

Chad: Yeah, I'll see you later.

Whitney: And I guess I'll have to take a rain check on that coffee. Even though I'd love to hear some juicy details on the rich and famous.

Vincent: Well, I've got millions of stories that I could tell you. Ooh, my specialty is the dirt on Harmony's premiere family. [Whispers] The Cranes.

Whitney: Oh, really? Well, I kind of have an inside track on that. I pretty much know everything there is to know.

Vincent: You'd be surprised.

Whitney: Oh, ok. Well, I'll see you guys later then. Bye.

Vincent: You got lucky, Chad. But don't worry. There's always next time.

Chad: You bastard.

Vincent: Hey, Whit, wait up. I'll walk with you.

Ivy: Fancy, you listen to your mother and you get back to bed.

Fancy: Oh, when have I ever listened to you, Mother?

Ivy: Well, now would be a good time to start.

Fancy: I can't. I just -- I needed to get up and walk off some of this worry. I don't know what to do anymore.

Ivy: Well, could you just sit down and take the pressure off your leg?

Fancy: No, it's not that bad. Sometimes I think I'll go mad. I love Luis so much.

Ivy: Honey, I understand. I would have done anything to keep Sam.

Fancy: But you did, remember? And it still didn't work out.

Ivy: Ok, you don't have to be mean. I know it's a little late, but I am trying to help.

Fancy: I know. Thanks for trying at least.

Ivy: Fancy, I would never ever tell you not to fight for love. God knows I spent enough of my life too frightened to go after what was in my own heart. But maybe you just need to give it a little rest until we know more about what's going on.

Fancy: No, I can't do that. The man I love is now the object of a massive manhunt.

Ivy: Ok, honey, just -- please. Would you just let the police get a better lead on whomever is attacking you?

Fancy: I'm the police, too. I can't just lie around here and wait while my fate's being decided out there. I have to find Luis and talk to him. Or I at least I need to make sure he's safe.

Chris: Hi, guys. Um, have either one of you seen Sheridan?

Fancy: No, why? Is she missing?

Chris: Well, we were going to spend the day together, and I left for five minutes to make some sandwiches. I got back and she was nowhere to be found.

Fancy: Huh.

Sheridan: Look, you are absolutely safe here. There is no reason to leave. I'm sure no one else will find you here.

Luis: You did.

Sheridan: That's only because I'm the one that rented these apartments out for Crane years ago, and I knew where to look. Please stay so I know where you are. So I can help keep you safe.

Luis: Sheridan, I don't need your help, ok? And besides, if you don't tell Sam where I'm at, you're aiding and abetting a fugitive.

Sheridan: Oh, please. Now you have to stay. I insist.

Luis: Ok. For the moment.

Sheridan: Good. Have you eaten?

Luis: No, I've been on the stupid internet for hours trying to find a clue as to who Fancy's attacker is.

Sheridan: Well, that's ridiculous. How are you going to do good police work if you don't keep up your strength? Now sit down and I'll make you something to eat.

Luis: You don't have to do that.

Sheridan: I said "sit."

Luis: All right. You're the boss.

Sheridan: It's taken you this long to realize that?

Luis: I just really want to call Fancy and let her know that I'm ok.

Luis: Ethan says I shouldn't.

Sheridan: Ethan knows you're here?

Luis: The less you know the better.

Sheridan: Ok, fine. But Ethan's right. Don't call Fancy.

Chris: I mean, this is bizarre. She was here one minute, gone the next. Without a word.

Fancy: Hmm. She seems to make a habit of disappearing lately.

Chris: I'm sure she must be around here somewhere. I'm going to -- I'm just going to have a look around.

Fancy: Mm-hmm.

Ivy: Ok, so I hate to say this. But Luis vanishes and now Sheridan? Do you think they're together?

Fancy: They had better not be.

Chris: Where the hell are you, Sheridan?

Luis: Why are you acting so intense?

Sheridan: I'm not acting intense. I'm just concerned. You can't let Fancy know where you are until you have something concrete to tell her.

Luis: Why not?

Sheridan: Why not? Well, because -- I don't mean to bring up a sore subject, but it's only natural that she still suspects you.

Luis: I know.

Sheridan: Well, don't you want to produce the real criminal?

Luis: Of course I do.

Sheridan: Well?

Luis: Well, then I shouldn't call her.

Sheridan: Mm-hmm.

Sheridan: By the time I'm done here, Luis won't even remember Fancy's name.

Ethan: Ok, sounds good. I'll talk to you soon. All right, bye. So what did I miss?

Chad: Not much.

Ethan: You know, Chad, I'm not too wild about that Vincent guy. Aside from the fact that he works for the tabloid that ruined my life, there's something strange about him. I don't trust him. Do you feel that way?

Chad: I mean, I don't think about Vincent at all. Look, a get going. All right?

Ethan: Hey, one piece of advice first.

Chad: Yeah, yeah. What is it?

Ethan: I almost lost Theresa for good, and I know how painful it was. So just don't make the same mistake. If Whitney is the true love of your life, Chad --

Chad: She is, ok? I wouldn't have married her if she wasn't.

Ethan: Good to hear. Then get rid of this other woman. Trust me. It's not worth it, holding on to her.

Chad: I understand what you're saying. I only wish it was that easy.

Chad's voice: And I only wish it was a woman.

Vincent: Uh, listen. Since you can't make coffee, how about making plans for dinner? I bet Valerie would love to get together with you and Chad outside the office office.

Whitney: You know what? That actually sounds really nice. Chad and I need to definitely get out more. And with Ethan being so busy with Theresa's brothers and helping them out with their case and everything, you know, he could really use a guy friend.

Vincent: Excellent. I could use a friend, too.

Whitney: Ok.

Vincent: How about tonight?

Whitney: Tonight's great. Then it's a date.

Vincent: All right.

Whitney: Yeah, you know what? I think Chad will be really excited.

Jared: I can't tell you how relieved I am you still want to get married. It's like we both have amnesia.  The past is forgotten.

Theresa: Ok.

Jared: I just can't wait for you to be my wife. As soon as I get out of this bed I'm going to walk you down that aisle myself.

Theresa: No.

Jared: What?

Theresa: No, I don't want to wait for you to get out of the hospital. I think we should get married today.

On the Next Passions:

Fancy: If Sheridan's with Luis, I swear to God I'll kill her.

Vincent: I was just going to tell Whitney about the person I really love.

Luis: I want to know what happened between Fancy and Pretty.
