Fancy: No. No, stop it. Don't hurt me. Luis, please, you've got to believe me. I know he was here, right in my closet.

Fancy: No! No! Help! Somebody help me!

Ivy: Sam --

Sam: Get the hell away from me.

Ivy: I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am.

Sam: My wife is dead and you're alive. I'd give anything for it to be the other way around.

Ivy: Sam.

Sam: I can't even look at you right now.

Ivy: Sam --

Eve: We did this, Ivy.

Ivy: No.

Eve: Grace is dead because of us.

Ivy: Not just us. Kay. Sam --

Eve: You're unbelievable, Ivy. Where do you get the nerve?

Ivy: I just want to tell him how sorry I am.

Eve: And why should he forgive you? It was your plan that set this whole tragedy in motion.

Ivy: No.

Eve: She wouldn't have been in London. She wouldn't have been on a bus that blew up if it weren't for you.

Ivy: And you, and Kay.

Jessica: Damn you, Ivy! My mom is dead because of you.

Miguel: Whoa, whoa whoa,! Wait, Jess, Jess.

Jessica: You're the one who should be dead! You! I'll kill you myself.

Miguel: Shh, Jess.

Jessica: Let me go!

Miguel: Shh.

Whitney: Do you have a Chad Harris-Crane registered at this motel? Because if you do, I need you to open up the door right now.

Jared: This is it, man. It's the end of the line.

Fancy: Someone, help me! Help me. Sam, get him off me.

Jessica: Let me go!

Miguel: Jess.

Jessica: Let me --

Miguel: Jess.

Jessica: No!

Ivy: Keep her away from me.

Jessica: I hate you! I hate you! Let me go.

Miguel: It's ok. It's ok. It's ok.

Jessica: Miguel --

Miguel: It's ok.

Jessica: She's dead.

Miguel: It's ok. I know.

Jessica: My mom is dead.

Miguel: I know. It's ok.

Fox: Mother, you all right?

Ivy: I'm fine. She's just drunk.

Kay: Jessica, let me --

Jessica: Stay away from me. All of you. I can't stand to be in the same room as three murderers. I hope you all roast in hell.

Miguel: Jess --

Kay: I can't take this.

Eve: She shouldn't be alone.

Miguel: Eve, if you go after her, you're only going to make things worse.

Eve: Perhaps you're right.

Fox: It's ok. I'll make everything better, ok?

Kay: How? You can't bring my mom back.

Miguel: Listen, I know I'm not particularly welcome here right now --

Fox: Yeah, you got that right.

Miguel: I just want you to know how sorry I am. Your mom was a wonderful lady.

Kay: Yeah, she was.

Miguel: You must be overwhelmed right now knowing your mom died so suddenly and now knowing your husband is going to die, too.

Fox: What are you talking about?

Miguel: What am I talking about? You're sick. You're dying, right? Or did you forget that?

Fancy: Help him, someone! Sam's caught the rapist!

Sheridan: Sam, stop. What are you doing? Why are you attacking Luis?

Sam: Luis?

Luis: Yeah.

Fancy: Luis? You were attacking me?

Luis: What? What the heck is wrong with you?

Sam: I was in the hall, I heard her screaming, I came in, she was struggling with someone.

Luis: Yeah, that was me. I mean -- I heard her. She -- I came by to comfort her. She was having a nightmare, so --

Fancy: No, uh-uh. I was not dreaming. Someone came out of the closet. I know it.

Luis: Well, you must have dreamed that, Fancy.

Fancy: No, I couldn't have.

Sam: Well, if she wasn't dreaming, then why is the closet door open?

Man: Chad Harris-Crane. Are you sure you've got the name right?

Whitney: Yeah, of course I'm sure. He's my husband.

Man: Sorry, there's no Chad Harris-Crane registered here.

Theresa: You see, honey? You let your imagination run away with you.

Whitney: Check again. I need you to make sure. It's Chad Harris-Crane. Just check one more time for me, please.

{Chad: I don't want my name showing up on the hotel register, got it?

Man: Got it, Mr. Crane. Same as usual.} Like I said, there's no Chad Harris-Crane registered here.

Chad: Just keep your mouth shut and I'll be fine.

Jared: Oh, I get it. You told the clerk to be quiet about you being here.

Theresa: Well, thank you. Come on, let's go. It's cold, come on.

Whitney: Wait a second.

Man: What are you doing?

Theresa: What is it?

Whitney: It's Valerie. Valerie Davis. She's staying here. I knew I should have listened to my gut about her before. I need you to open Valerie Davis' room right now.

Man: Look, lady, I can't just barge in on a guest.

Whitney: No, no, you don't understand. You have to. Please. Theresa --

Theresa: You know what? Open the door, or I'll have you fired with one phone call and you will never work in Harmony again.

Man: Damn Cranes. You're all alike. Fine. Over here.

Jared: This is it, Chad. It's over.

Fox: Oh, you are so out of line.

Miguel: The question caught you by surprise? You forgot all about your lies and your little so-called terminal illness?

Ivy: Don't be cruel.

Kay: Is that why you're here Miguel, to torture Fox again?

Miguel: You heard it yourself, Fox forgot he was dying. What does that tell you?

Kay: It tells me that our wedding helped him put aside his own problems, for a little while anyway. I mean, everything was going great until we heard about my mom.

Miguel: Bet he forgot because he can't keep track of all his lies.

Kay: Stop it! You're using my grief about my mom to try to catch Fox in a lie. You're disgusting.

Ivy: My son isn't lying. I am going to lose him like I have lost everyone else.

Miguel: Look, I' m sorry, Kay. I didn't come up here to cause trouble for you and Fox. I came the minute I heard about your mother. I wanted to be here for you.

Fox: Well, thank you, Miguel, for your condolences. Now, go. She doesn't need you, she has her husband.

Miguel: Look, Kay, just -- you know what? Just forget it.

Ivy: How are we going to get through this? A mother isn't supposed to outlive her own son. It's just -- its unnatural.

Jared: How are you so calm about this right now?

Chad: Things happen for a reason.

Jared: Yeah, because your libido is out of control. We gotta get out of here.

Chad: I know what to do.

Whitney: Come on, you do have the master key, don't you?

Man: Yeah, it's here somewhere.

Theresa: Oh, God, Whitney.

Whitney: Get up. Bitch, get up!

Valerie: Whitney, Theresa? What are you doing here?

Man: My work here is done.

Whitney: Where is he, Valerie?

Valerie: Where is who?

Whitney: My husband. Where is Chad? Chad, get out here. Chad, open this door. I know you're in there. Get out here right this second!

Luis: You want to know why the closet door is open?

Sam: Yeah.

Luis: I don't know. Maybe Fancy left it open.

Fancy: No, it was closed. My attacker came out of there.

Luis: Or maybe I left it open.

Sam: You?

Luis: Yeah, I came by earlier. Fancy thought she had locked the peeping tom in the closet, but nobody was in there.

Sheridan: He's right. I was here. No one was in the closet.

Fancy: He was here. He got away somehow!

Luis: Yeah, maybe I did leave it open.

Fancy: None of you are listening to me. I did trap him in there earlier. I don't know how he got out of it. It should have been impossible.

Luis: All right, Fancy, calm down.

Fancy: No! He was in there, I know he was. And just now he had a knife.

Luis: A knife?

Fancy: Yes.

Luis: Fancy, you're just having a bad dream.

Fancy: No.

Luis: Fancy, I just came by. There was no one in here. You don't think I was the one who was attacking you, do you?

Fancy: No, no, but he was here.

Sam: Luis would never hurt you, you've got to know that.

Fancy: I know! Why was my dream so real, then? The attacker came out of the closet with a knife.

Sam: Luis.

Luis: Yeah?

Sam: Hey, you got everything under control here? I've got to get back to my daughters.

Luis: Oh, God, that's right. Um -- poor daughters. Poor Grace. How are they taking it?

Sam: Not well.

Luis: Sorry.

Sam: Yeah. It's just so hard, you know? So pointless. I can't get past all the lies that led up to Grace leaving. That's why she's dead, Luis.

Luis: She's dead because some sick bastard put a bomb on a bus.

Sam: I know, but she shouldn't have been in London in the first place. You know, it's all Ivy and Eve's fault. And Kay -- she could have stopped Ivy, but she didn't. I'm so angry right now, you know, so full of rage. Look, I thought I could forgive Kay and Eve, but it's just so hard.

Luis: Well, you'll get through this. You're strong -- a strong guy.

Sam: Listen to me. If you love Fancy like you say you do, don't let go of her, ok?

Luis: I hear you.

Luis: Hey, I want you to get some rest. I'm sure that sedative that Eve gave you will help.

Fancy: Yeah, I'll try. I'm sorry I said you attacked me. I know you'd never hurt me.

Luis: Never.

Fancy: That knife seemed so real.

Luis: It's just a dream, that's all. There's no knife.

Ivy: Oh, Fox. How are we going to get through this? I mean, I think I could get through anything but this. You dying -- I can't get through this.

Fox: Let's just try not to think about it.

Ivy: How do I not think about it

Sam: Oh, my God. You're still here?

Ivy: Sam, you have to listen to me.

Sam: Why?

Ivy: Because you have to forgive me.

Sam: I what?

Ivy: You know I love you.

Sam: Love me? You don't even know what love is. You're a snake. And you -- you were Grace's friend and mine.

Eve: Sam --

Sam: You'd think that after a lifetime of dealing with criminals that I'd know everything there was about evil. But I didn't.

Ivy: Sam --

Sam: You know what? You are the single worst person that I've ever met in my life. You know, it's too bad Alistair's dead, because he could take lessons from you.

Ivy: Sam --

Sam: Stop it. You know, I don't even want to hear your voice. You know, I've been thinking, remembering things -- times that I spoke to you and  to you. Times when you both saw me at my lowest, when you both saw how losing Grace was killing me. Times when you witnessed what I was going through with me and my children. You saw how hurt we all were, how a once loving family was drowning in misery. And yet you sit back and you watch my life destroyed! And Jessica's. My God, just one of you, just one of you, if you would have said something, you could have stopped all this from happening. Grace never would have left to be with a man she never even met. My life would be whole. And you -- my God, you and T.C. were our best friends. How could you turn your back on us? How? And you -- my God, you say you love me and yet you stood there and you watched me suffer. What kind of love is that? You don't need to answer that because I know the answers to those questions. You two are the most selfish, evil bitches that this world has ever seen. I hold you both responsible for Grace's death and I will never, never forgive you. I will hate you till the day I die.

Jessica: Mom -- I miss you so much.

Spike: Oh, hey, baby. Hey, honey, what are you doing down here, sweetie? I thought that you were upstairs, honey.

Jessica: Spike, where have you been?

Spike: What do you mean, honey?

Jessica: Were you in Fancy's room?

Spike: What? Why would you say that?

Jessica: I saw the ski mask, Spike. I know you're the rapist.

Sheridan: Luis.

Luis: Yeah?

Sheridan: Maybe Fancy's first step to recovery is to accept that her attacks are just dreams or hallucinations. I mean, who knows how much wine or pills she's been sneaking on the side?

Luis: So, what happened tonight -- you do admit it was a dream, right?

Fancy: I have to, I suppose.

Luis: Then --

Fancy: "Then," what? Oh, no. Wait one minute. Sheridan put you up to this, didn't she? Just because I admit what happened just now was a dream doesn't mean I'll admit any of the other attacks were. He was in here, Luis, in this room, fighting me. He was trying to hurt me.

Luis: I want to believe that. And I know that you believe that. It's just that I'm a cop and --

Fancy: I'm a cop, too! Kind of. He was --

Luis: Fancy, the first time you said you were attacked, you said you ripped a button off the attacker's shirt. We turned this place upside-down. We didn't find a button.

Fancy: Because she took it.

Sheridan: Oh, Fancy.

Luis: Fancy, Sheridan didn't take the button.

Fancy: He was here.

Luis: Ok, well, the next time that I rushed in to help you, you said that you had locked the attacker in the closet. I searched the closet, there was nobody in there.

Fancy: I -- I can't explain that.

Luis: Tonight, you admit that it was all just a bad dream, right? I just want you to consider the possibility that maybe -- just maybe -- all the other attacks that happened in here are just in your mind as well, that they were all just a bad dream.

Whitney: Chad, get out here right this second, you cheating bastard!

Valerie: What is wrong with her? Whitney, stop it. Chad's not in there.

Whitney: Shut up ,Valerie, just shut up.

Valerie: Whitney, you are so wrong. Chad's not here.

Whitney: Liar. You've been meeting my husband here, Valerie.

Valerie: You're absurd. Chad is not in that bathroom, it's someone else.

Whitney: Oh, yeah, I'm sure it is.

Theresa: Valerie, first you let Ethan use Jared's computer, and now this? You are so finished at Crane.

Valerie: That is not fair. The two of you, please, listen to me. Chad is not here. Please, go outside, let me get dressed, and I can prove it to you.

Whitney: Valerie, why don't you just give up the act. Ok, where are his clothes? Why don't you just tell me where his clothes are because I know he's in there.

Valerie: One minute, that's all I ask.

Whitney: Valerie, I --

Theresa: No. Thank you.

Valerie: Chad's not here, I swear it.

Whitney: Shut up! My marriage is completely over. I mean, we just get married -- why would he need to still meet with her?  Does she have something I don't have or something?

Valerie: It's too late. You've got to get out there and talk to Whitney. There's no other way out of that bathroom.

Whitney: My marriage is over. It's completely over.

Whitney: You?

Vincent: Who else would it be?

Theresa: Of course. Yeah, I mean, remember? You set Vincent up with Valerie.

Whitney: Why -- why didn't you answer when I was knocking on the bathroom door?

Vincent: Uh, because I was stark naked.

Whitney: Oh, um, I am so sorry. But I don't see how -- are you sure?

Vincent: There's no one in the room except Valerie. We're not into kinky stuff.

Whitney: I -- I just have to say how sorry I am. Theresa, oh, my God, what did I do?

Vincent: So, you and your old man having marital troubles already?

Theresa: Oh, of course. This is one of the reporters for "Daily Private Lives."

Vincent: Hey, you're the ones who came knocking on our door. So what's wrong, Mrs. Harris-Crane?

Theresa: You know what happened tonight can never make print. You understand that?

Vincent: People have a right to know, Mrs. Crane. It's not my fault Whitney here can't control her husband. Ah, but you know, I may go easy on you, seeing as how I owe you, you hooked me up with Valerie. So, why didn't you assume Valerie was here with me instead of your husband?

Jared: What are you two doing out here?

Whitney: Jared? Wait a minute, you're here -- you found Chad here, didn't you?

Jared: Chad? No. The staff at the mansion told me that you two were headed down here. I tried your cell phone but it went straight to voicemail. I found Chad, he never left the mansion, he's been there all along.

Whitney: No, no, no, I looked everywhere. He's not there.

Jared: I told you you had nothing to worry about.

Whitney: Oh, God. Oh, my God, I feel like such a fool. Um, I got to get back to the mansion.

Theresa: Look, let's go. Come on.

Vincent: Say, um, can't I get a picture? For "Daily Private Lives."

Sam: I don't -- I don't know how you two can live with yourselves knowing that you caused Grace's death. If I wasn't clear, I want both of you to stay the hell away from me. You disgust me.

Kay: He wanted to say all of that to me.

Eve: Every word he said -- I deserved every word.

Ivy: Well, he's angry right now, but he'll come around. He'll come around when he realizes that I did it because I truly do love him.

Eve: You know what? You're insane.

Ivy: Ah!

Eve: Or maybe you're just the devil.

Fox: Stop it you heard her. She did what she did out of love.

Miguel: Like mother, like son. Liars, both of you. You don't know the first thing about real love

Fox: Go to hell.

Kay: Stop it. Just stop it. This is my fault. That was my family, that's my dad. And he's right, I should have said something.

Fox: Kay --

Miguel: Kay. Kay --

Fox: Hey, stay away from her. She's my wife.

Ivy: With any luck, she'll just kill herself.

Eve: If I were you, I'd be more worried about Fox and Miguel killing each other.

Ivy: Oh, my God, Fox.

Jessica: You're the rapist, aren't you?

Spike: That's not very nice, sweetie. Moi? I could never do anything like that, and why would I?

Jessica: Hmm. Why wouldn't you? Half the times when you sleep with me, it's like rape. I'm going to tell Luis.

Spike: You ain't gonna tell nobody nothing, and you know why, hmm?

Jessica: No.

Spike: Huh? Because, you open your mouth about me, I'm gonna do the same about you. Remember all those dead johns that you cut, huh? Won't your daddy be happy to find out his little girl is a killer, hmm?

Sam: Get the hell away from her, man.

Spike: I'm just helping her clean up. Don't do it! Ease up there, chief. Ease up, chief.

Sam: What's going on here? Now, you tell me the truth.

Spike: Jessica, go ahead and tell him the truth, baby.

Luis: Fancy, if all these attacks were in your mind, it would be totally understandable.

Fancy: Would it?

Sheridan: Absolutely.

Fancy: No. No, the attacker was in here, Luis. Ok, ok, I realize now that the last time was a dream, but not the other times before.

Sheridan: Oh, honey, this is no time for you to be stubborn.

Fancy: You bitch. You're damn right I'm stubborn. I won't let you steal the man I love.

Sheridan: Really, Fancy, I don't know how many more of these horrible accusations of yours I can take.

Fancy: Then go. I don't want you here.

Sheridan: All right.

Luis: Talk to you later, Sheridan.

Sheridan: I'll leave for now, Fancy. But I'll be back. You can count on it.

Whitney: Chad. Oh, honey, you're -- I am so sorry. I'm so sorry.

Chad: Oh, hey, baby, what is all this?

Whitney: I feel like such an idiot right now, you have no idea. And you're never, ever going to be able to forgive me.

Chad: Whitney, Whitney, it's ok. Whatever it is, I forgive you.

Whitney: Chad, um, Valerie was at that seedy motel.

Chad: That's where you were?

Whitney: Yeah, yeah, and I saw her there with Vincent.

Chad: The tabloid guy.

Whitney: Yes.

Chad: Wow, Valerie works fast.

Whitney: Honey, I looked all over for you. I couldn't find you anywhere. Where were you?

Chad: Well, baby, we didn't have any cake at the reception, so I figured we'd have some now. I was in the kitchen.

Whitney: You were in the kitchen?

Chad: Yeah.

Whitney: Of course you were in the kitchen, the only place I didn't look. Oh, my God. Honey, I am so sorry. I am so sorry.

Chad: Hey, hey, hey, whatever it is, baby, it's ok. It's ok.

Chad: It's ok.

Theresa: Everything ok in here?

Chad: Um, couldn't be better. Want some cake?

Whitney: Oh, my God, I feel like such an idiot.

Theresa: No, don't feel like -- hey, no. Come on, you've just got to start trusting Chad.

Whitney: You're right. I do, I really do.

Theresa: Good.

Jared: You lucked out, man. If Valerie hadn't been in that room next door --

Chad: I know.

Jared: Yeah, well, consider this a warning. Because next time you're not going to be so lucky, and you're going to lose everything.

Luis: You need to stop attacking Sheridan, ok?

Fancy: Oh, God, you don't see it, do you? She is a monster, Luis.

Luis: All right, all right. Just calm down. Calm down, ok?

Fancy: All right, fine.

Luis: There you go. Get some sleep, ok? I'll be right here.

Fancy: No, you go. I'll be fine here.

Luis: You sure?

Fancy: Absolutely.

Luis: Ok. I love you, all right? Please get some rest. I will not leave the house.

Fancy: One day you'll see, Luis, what Sheridan's really like. I just hope when that day comes it won't be too late for us.

Kay: I killed my own mother. I could have stopped the whole thing. My mom's dead. It's all my fault. Fox, go away. I just want to be alone.

Miguel: It's me.

Kay: Hey. How'd you know I was here?

Miguel: Well, because I know you better than anyone.

Kay: She's dead. My mom's dead.

Miguel: It's ok.

Kay: My mom --

Miguel: It's ok. It's ok. I'm so sorry. Your mother was a good lady. But it's not your fault. Kay, so many things happened, so many things went wrong.

Kay: It was my fault. I'm evil, like Ivy and Eve. And you heard all those things that my dad said to them. He wanted to say that to me.

Miguel: Shh, it's ok. You're not evil. You're good and sweet and funny, and you're the coolest, hippest mom I've ever seen.

Kay: You really mean that?

Miguel: With all my heart.

Sam: Jessica, honey, what's going on in here? Huh? If there's something that I need to know, you can tell me, all right? I'll take care of it.

Jessica: It's nothing, Daddy. I'm just sad about Mom. And I broke a bottle, so Spike was helping me clean it up.

Spike: You see? Now, can you let me go, please? Pops, everything's okey-dokey, just like I told you.

Sam: I told you before, never call me "pops," "dad," or "father-in-law," you got that?

Spike: Yeah.

Luis: Boy, I thought you'd be long gone by now.

Spike: Maybe I'm just a hard guy to get rid of, officer.

Luis: Were you in Fancy's room just now? Were you?

Spike: Hey, careful of the suit, man.

Luis: You answer me. Were you in Fancy's room earlier? Huh?

Spike: No. If you had the proof, you wouldn't be asking. Now, let me go.

Luis: Let me tell you something. I am watching you. And I'm gonna take you down if it's the last thing that I do, you hear me?

Spike: Hey, uh, officer -- chief, is this not police brutality here or what? Come on, look at this.

Sam: Luis, look, I understand, but until we have proof --

Luis: You're lucky. Oh, you're lucky because I got to check in with the station.

Spike: Thanks, Pops.

Sam: What did I tell you about that, huh? You remember what I said?

Spike: Right. I'm sorry

Sam: Look, I don't like you any more than Luis does. And I'm just as suspicious, you got that? Jessica, I love you. I can't seem to get through to you, but if you ever want to talk to me, I'm always here for you, ok?

Jessica: Ok, Daddy.

Spike: Hey, pop -- I mean, uh, Sam. You know what? I think we're gonna be fine. I mean, me and my wife -- come here, honey -- me and my wife, we're gonna grieve together. That's what married couples do. All right, sweetie? All right, honey. I love you, sweetie.

Jessica: I'm all right. I'm fine.

Sam: Sweetheart, I love you. If you want to talk about anything, like I said -- your mom -- call me.

Spike: Thank you.

Spike: Oh, boy. Oh, baby, all right. Listen, honey -- listen, sweetie, I got some things to do, honey. All right, I want you just to go home, ok? I have some things I gotta take care of, all right?

Jessica: What? I can't drive, I've been drinking.

Spike: All right, honey, you can walk. Ok, baby? Go ahead, move it. I got things to do. All right, I'll see you.

Jessica: What's happened to me? I don't even know this girl I've become.

Kay: How can you say such nice things to me after what I've done?

Miguel: Well, because I love you. In good times and bad times, like these. I'm so sorry about your mom. I want you to know one thing -- that whatever happens, I will always be here for you.

Kay: I don't know what to say.

Miguel: Then say nothing. Ok? I love you. I love you.

Eve: No luck?

Fox: No, damn it. Where's my wife? Where's Miguel?

Whitney: So, I run off to that sleazy motel room thinking that-- oh, forget it. I mean, you know what I thought. Honey, are you ever going to be able to forgive me for doubting you again?

Chad: Of course. I love you, even though I should leave a note for you every time I go to the restroom.

Whitney: I'm sorry.

Chad: Hey, it's ok. This is what marriage is about, right? Love, forgiveness. And no matter what you do, Whitney, I'll always forgive you.

Chad's voice: I just hope if you ever learn my secret, you'll forgive me.

Fancy: Luis, please, you've got to believe me. I know he was here, in my closet.

On the Next Passions:

Miguel: I haven't been with Charity, but somehow Fox managed to make you think I was.

Gwen: You just may lose both Theresa and me at the same time.

Luis: Fancy?
