Kay: What's wrong with me? My wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of my life.

[Knock at door]

Kay: Who is it?

Fox: It's your husband-to-be in just a little while.

Kay: Fox, you're not supposed to see me before the wedding.

Fox: Ok, I just need to talk to you for a minute. I need to convince myself that we're actually getting married today. Is that true?

Kay: Yeah, it's true.

Fox: Ok then. I'm good. I love you with all of my heart.

Kay: I love you, too, Fox. I'll see you soon, ok?

Kay: Fox, go away. We can't see each other until the ceremony.

Miguel: There isn't going to be a ceremony. Not until you marry me.

Sam: Good morning.

Grace: Good morning.

Sam: You don't know how happy I am that you made it home for Kay's wedding.

Grace: Yeah, so am I. For a while there, I didn't think I was going to make it. I had to see you, Sam. You and the children.

Sam: I love you so much. You know, I never thought I would ever be this happy again.

Grace: Neither did I.

Sam: I love you.

Grace: I love you, too, Sam. And I'm home now. And I am never going to leave you again.

Fancy: [Gasps] Oh! Oh, thank God. I'm home. I'm safe. Ok.

{Fancy: I'll graduate from the academy and I won't be a rookie anymore. Do you know what that means.

Luis: Yeah. We can finally be together the way we want to be. }

Fancy: Oh. I can't wait, Luis.

{Sheridan: I'm here for you. I just don't want you to make a mistake that will cause you terrible pain.

Sheridan: She bought it.

Fancy: Not quite, Aunt Sheridan. I won't let you ruin what I have with Luis. Who knew you'd turn into a world-class bitch?} You think you can come between Luis and me, Aunt Sheridan, but you won't. I won't let you.

Jared: I know how gun-shy you are about weddings and I know you have a son to protect. I'll do anything I possibly can to help you feel safe and secure. But you promised me an answer today. I love you, Tess. I don't want to spend another day without you. So, will you marry me?

Theresa: Yes, Jared.

Jared: Oh, God. You have made me the happiest man.

Theresa: Of course, I'll marry you.

Ethan: Hey, hey. You're not going to marry her. You're a liar. And you're a murderer. And you're never going to touch her again.

Theresa: Ethan, stop!

Jared: Get your hands off me, you moron.

Theresa: Stop it! Ethan!

Kay: Miguel, stop.

Miguel: I'm not going to stop, Kay.

Kay: Stop it. Don't touch me.

Miguel: Kay, you love me. You love me just as much as I love you.

Kay: No. Stop. Leave me alone.

Miguel: Kay, I'm not going to leave you alone until you tell Fox it's off. Ok? If you don't believe me, I'll prove it.

Sam: All that time you've been gone, it's been like a dream.

Grace: More like a nightmare. You know, I just can't believe all the lengths that Ivy went to. To invent a husband from my past and a son. To use Eve to convince us that it was true. All so that she could just have you all to herself.

Sam: Yeah. Well, Ivy's scheme was truly unbelievable. And she's going to pay. I swear it.

Grace: Good. She doesn't deserve anyone's pity. I hope she rots in jail.

Sam: If I have anything to do with it, she will.

Grace: Good. Hey, you know what, though? Let's not talk about Ivy anymore.

Sam: Yeah.

Grace: Let's talk about this happy day. Our little girl's getting married.

Sam: I can't believe that she's actually going to walk down the aisle.

Grace: Yeah. Me, too. It's going to be a very happy day. We'd better start getting ready, huh?

Sam: Yeah. We should. But we still have a little time and I could think of a few things we could do to, you know...

Fancy: No. No.

[Gasping] Oh, these nightmares. I've gotta get up. Gotta get up. Can't sleep anyway.

{Man: You like it, don't you? You never had it this way.

[Fancy crying] }

[Fancy screams]

Theresa: Ethan, Jared, just stop it! Stop! Oh, my God.

Ethan: See you.

Jared: Open the door! Open it up.

Theresa: What are you doing? Are you crazy?

Ethan: Jared. Hey, hey. Get out of here. Just go away.

Jared: Open this door, damn it.

Theresa: You cannot keep him locked out, Ethan, ok? I am going to marry him.

Ethan: Not going to happen, sorry.

Jared: Tess? Tess, are you all right?

Theresa: You know what? I am fine. And I'm going to unlock the door.

Ethan: No, you're not.

Theresa: Ethan, it's --

Ethan: He's not coming in here.

Theresa: What is happening to you?

Ethan: What is happening? I'm not fighting anymore. I love you. And you love me. You don't love that guy.

Theresa: No, just -- just stop it, ok? You're married to Gwen and you told me to move on because you're not going to leave her. And I'm going to marry Jared.

Ethan: Theresa, he is a killer. He killed J.T. Cornell and he's dangerous.

Theresa: You don't know that.

Ethan: Yeah, I do know that.

Jared: Tess!

Ethan: You like dangerous guys, huh?

Jared: Tess!

Ethan: That's ok. That's ok. Because I can be dangerous, too.

Jared: Tess!

Theresa: Oh, my goodness.

Jared: Open this door. I swear, I'm going to get a security guard to shoot open the lock. Tess?

Kay: Miguel? Oh, my God. Why am I having these dreams? Today's my wedding day. I'm going to marry Fox. I am.

Miguel: Did Kay come home? Is she here yet?

Tabitha: No, didn't you find her last night?

Miguel: No, Tabitha. I looked everywhere. She's not at her dad's, not at the Crane estate, not at Simone's or any one of her friends. I don't know where she is. I've got to find her and tell her that Fox is lying to her.

Tabitha: You're absolutely positive that Fox is lying about being fatally ill?

Miguel: Tabitha, I told you. I saw his medical records in Eve's office. He's perfectly fine.

Tabitha: Then maybe he went to another doctor. And he's keeping the truth from Eve as well.

Miguel: That's impossible. Eve's his family's doctor and has been for years. And even if he went to another doctor, they had to contact Eve for Fox's records. He's lying. He's in perfect health and he lied to keep Kay from dumping him for me. And that's the truth.

Tabitha: This is a proper pickle, isn't it?

Miguel: It's a mess, Tabitha. I mean, Fox must have taken Kay somewhere so I wouldn't talk to her. And you say you have no idea where Fox has taken her?

Tabitha: Oh.

Sam: I love you so much.

Ivy: Oh, I love you, too, Sam.

Sam: Ivy!

Ivy: Sam, Sam. I am so happy you forgave me. You know, everything I did, I did it out of love --

Sam: Whoa, whoa, what are you talking about? What the hell are you doing here?

Ivy: I came because I had to talk to you. I had to beg you to give me one more chance.

Sam: Oh, my God. I don't believe this is happening.

Ivy: Well, it's true. I came in and you were asleep. And I was going to leave and then you grabbed me and you started to make love to me. It was amazing. And I knew you still loved me.

Sam: I don't love you, ok? I was dreaming. I thought you were Grace.

Ivy: Oh, come on. There is no way you thought I was Grace. There is no way Grace ever touched you the way I touched you or made you feel the way I make you feel.

Sam: Just get out. All right? I love my wife. And I want you out of my house right now.

Ivy: Oh, Sam. You know you don't mean that.

Sam: Oh, yes, I do. All right? Go back to Julian or whoever could put up with you, ok? I'm through with you. I don't want to have anything to do with you, ok? So get out.

Priest: Well, hello again.

Grace: Hello, Father. Weren't we put in the same hotel last night?

Priest: Yes. I remember seeing you there. Terrible weather we're having, hmm?

Grace: Yeah. Well, I guess it's to be expected this time of year. I just hope we don't have to wait too long. I'm anxious to get home for my daughter's wedding.

Priest: I hope you make it.

Fancy: No! No, no, no, no, no! Please stop it. Leave me alone! No! No. Let me go. Help me.

Luis: Fancy. Fancy.

Fancy: No, no --

Luis: Fancy. Fancy. It's ok. It's ok. Shh. It's ok. It's ok, it's all right.

Jared: Tess? What's going on in there? You leave her alone, Ethan. I'll kill you when I get my hands on you.

Ethan: Oh, God, Theresa. Oh, yeah.

Ethan: Oh, Theresa. Oh.

Gwen: You're dreaming about Theresa. You're dreaming about having sex with Theresa. I'm going to kill that bitch.

Luis: Shh. Fancy. You're all right. You're all right.

Fancy: It was horrible. It was so real. I thought he was here.

Luis: Fancy, there is no one here, ok? I'm sorry you're going through this, but you're home now, ok? You're safe here.

Fancy: Yeah. Yeah, I'm safe. I'm safe. He can't get in here, can he?

Luis: No. No. No way. Besides that, it's Fox and Kay's wedding day, there are way too many people here. All right?

Fancy: So you'll protect me.

Luis: I'm not going anywhere.

Fancy: Oh. But you need to go to the wedding. Kay's your best friend's daughter. Fox is my brother, you need to go for both of us.

Luis: No. You know what? I'm sure that they will understand why we are not there.

Fancy: No. Please, Luis. I'll feel terrible if you don't go.

Luis: All right. All right, I'll go. Ok? I will tell the bride and groom how happy you are for them. How's that?

Fancy: Yeah, please. Give them my love. I'll be ok.

Luis: You are going to be ok. Promise.

Ethan: Oh, Theresa.

Gwen: Ethan, wake up. Wake up.

Ethan: Oh, hey. What? What -- what? What?

Gwen: What? You were dreaming about Theresa. That is what.

Ethan: I was?

Gwen: Don't even try to deny it, Ethan. You said her name like six times.

Ethan: Honey, um, hey, I'm sorry. I didn't know it.

Gwen: You didn't seem too sorry a minute ago. You seemed very happy, actually. Ecstatic, as a matter of fact. You are such a liar. You know that?

Ethan: Hold on a second. I'm not lying. I'm truly sorry. I can't help what I'm dreaming about, Gwen --

Gwen: Yes, you are a liar. You lie every single time you tell me that you love me.

Ethan: Wait a minute. I do love you.

Gwen: No, Ethan. You don't. You were laying there dreaming about having sex with Theresa and I'm so sick and tired of it. I am sick and tired of you treating me like an idiot, ok? You are completely playing me for a fool. I'm not stupid. I know that Theresa's the one in your heart. It's not me.

Ethan: That is not true.

Gwen: Don't you dare stand there and lie to me.

Ethan: I'm not --

Gwen: Don't you dare.

Ethan: I'm not lying to you. I'm sorry. If I was dreaming about Theresa, it's probably because I've been worried about her. I've been worried about her, and I've been worried about Little Ethan, Gwen. I don't want Jared being his stepfather. And I don't want Theresa marrying the wrong guy for her. That's all.

Gwen: I mean, are you kidding me? This has nothing to do with Little Ethan and you know it. This has everything to do with you not wanting Jared in Theresa's bed.

Ethan: For good reason. The guy's a murderer, Gwen.

Gwen: Ok. And do you have proof that Jared is anything but the wonderful guy he seems to be?

Ethan: J.T. Cornell had the proof and he got killed.

Gwen: Oh, ok. Ok. So Jared killed J.T. to protect this horrible double life he's leading.

Ethan: Yes, yes. That is exactly what I think, Gwen.

Gwen: Do you know how ridiculous that sounds? J.T. was blackmailing half the people in this town, Ethan.

Ethan: What? Including you?

Gwen: Me. How can you even think something like that?

Ethan: I don't know. You tell me. I mean, look at how you're acting. What, maybe Theresa was right all along? Maybe J.T. had the goods on you and your mother? Maybe he could prove that you were the ones that outed me to the tabloid? I don't know, maybe one of you killed J.T. Cornell. What do you think?

Gwen: How dare you? Are you out of your mind? What the hell is wrong with you? You know what? You know what? I don't even care what you think anymore. I don't care. Because I am sick to death of this. I am sick of being called a liar, and I am sure as hell sick of playing second fiddle to Theresa. So you know what? See this? Why don't you give this to Theresa?

Ethan: Gwen --

Gwen: Because I'm sure she'd love to have it.

Ethan: Gwen, you don't mean this.

Gwen: Leave me alone --

Ethan: Gwen, get back here. Come --

Miguel: Tabitha, please, please, if you know where Fox took Kay, just tell me. I don't have much time if I'm going to stop this wedding.

Tabitha: I'm sorry, Miguel. I don't know where Kay is. I've -- I've tried her cell phone, but she's not answering.

Miguel: I can't believe this. Ok, I have to tell Kay that Fox is lying. I mean, if he's lying about something this major, there's no telling what he's capable of. He's a Crane through and through, Tabitha.

Tabitha: [Sighs]

Fox: The place looks beautiful. Kay's at the Seacliff Inn. Miguel can't bother her. She'll be here in a few hours, and we'll be married. Everything's worked out perfectly.

Eve: Not everything, Fox.

Fox: Hello, Eve, uh, you're a few hours early. You know, the wedding's not starting for awhile.

Eve: I'm not here for the wedding. I'm here to speak to you.

Fox: Oh, well, you know, Eve, if this is about you and my father breaking up, I -- I really don't want to get in the middle of this.

Eve: No, it's not about Julian. It's about you and your terminal illness?

Fox: I'm sorry, Eve, but I don't know what you're talking about.

Eve: I think that you do, Fox. I don't want you to try and lie your way out of this.

Fox: Out of what?

Eve: Miguel tells me that you claimed that you are dying.

Fox: Miguel says that I'm dying? I -- I don't understand.

Eve: I found Miguel in my office going through my files.

Fox: Whoa, did he -- you let Miguel go through my personal medical files?

Eve: I didn't say that.

Fox: Eve, that is a major violation. I will have your license for that. You -- you're my doctor. I will sue you and the hospital so fast it'll will make your head spin.

Eve: Just calm down, ok. I didn't tell Miguel anything about your health.

Fox: Then what are you talking about?

Eve: Miguel says that he and Kay heard a conversation over the phone you were having with a doctor, and it led them to believe that you had some kind of terminal illness.

Fox: Well, I'm sorry, Eve. I still have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Eve: Fox, stop it, please. Miguel saw your file before I could stop him. He knows that you're not sick. He knows you're perfectly healthy and that you're lying.

Fox: No, I'm sorry, Eve. I think you've got it wrong. Miguel is lying.

Eve: Miguel said he thinks that you found out that Kay was planning to break her engagement to be with him, and you concocted this whole plan about dying so that she wouldn't leave you.

Fox: Look, this is just insane, Eve. All right, I knew Miguel was desperate, but I -- I had no idea he would take things this far.

Eve: Fox, you're still lying. That's no way to begin a marriage -- based on lies, Fox. It isn't going to work. Just be honest, and tell -- just tell Kay the truth.

Fox: Just shut up, Eve. Just shut up! You have no idea what you're talking about.

Eve: Believe me, Fox, I do.

Fox: No, you don't, Eve.

Miguel: I know where I will find her though. The wedding's supposed to be at the Crane mansion. I'll just wait for her there. Look, I'm stopping that wedding if it's the last thing I do.

Tabitha: Yeah.

Tabitha: Oh, my ages, Endora, what have you done now? Miguel, hello, hello, are you in there? Oh, Endora, don't do this. This is just prolonging the inevitable. You can't leave him like this forever.

Tabitha: Oh, Endora, don't do this. You -- I told you, you cannot manipulate humans like this.

Tabitha: That's different. I know what I'm doing. Please, sweet pea, this will come back to bite you and me. Endora, Endora, please, will you release Miguel from the spell? Let him compete fairly. Let the better man win.

Tabitha: All right, I give up. Well, it's time for your nap. Come on.

Tabitha: Oh, well, you can just have a short one. You know how awful you feel when you don't have your nap. And you want to be up and pretty in your lovely dress for the wedding, don't you? I promise you it will just be a short one.

Tabitha's voice: Hang in there. I'll be back.

Tabitha: Come along, my little witchling, off to slumber land we go.

Fancy: [Heavy breathing] Luis, Luis, help me! Please let me in!

Luis: The door's open. Come on in.

Fancy: Luis, what are you doing? Stop it!

Sam: Look, just get out.

[Phone rings]

Sam: Yeah, what?

Grace: Sam, it's me. Are you all right? You sound upset.

Sam: No, no, no, Grace. Yeah, I was just waking up, and I was dreaming about you. And I -- I just can't wait to see you.

Theresa: So what are you doing here this early?

Jared: I think you know why I'm here. I was hoping for an answer to my question. I know it took me quite a long time to ask it, and you promised me an answer by today.

Jared: So, Tess, will you marry me?

Theresa: I'm just not -- not ready to make that kind of decision right now.

Jared: Are you afraid I can't make you happy? Don't I make you happy now?

Theresa: You make me happy. Yeah, you do. I mean, I -- I didn't think I could feel this happy again, but I -- I do with you.

Jared: You make me happy, too. So what's the problem?

Theresa: Um, well, my experience with marriage hasn't been a positive one. I married Alistair, and he was a monster. And I thought that I had married Julian, and that wasn't much better. So I've kind of been burnt.

Jared: You -- you can't compare what we have together to the two of those guys. You said you married Alistair because he promised to help you get Ethan away from Gwen. And, well, you never really lived as Julian's wife, because you found out that your wedding was just a practical joke.

Theresa: Jared, that memory is still a nightmare for me.

Jared: I'm not them. I love you, and I care about you, and I want nothing more in the world than to make you happy.

Theresa: And I believe that. I totally do. I just -- look, I love you for saying that, but I need more time.

Jared: Is it that you're afraid to get married or is it that maybe you think J.T. did have something on me?

Theresa: I don't think that J.T. had anything on you, ok, and I certainly don't think that you killed J.T. But, yeah, look around you, Jared. Do you see any marriages that are actually working out? Chad and Whitney are over before they've even begun. My parents aren't together. Whitney's parents are divorced. Sam and Grace are torn apart. All around us are failed marriages.

Jared: Ours will be different.

Theresa: Well, you know what? The next time I get married, I want it to last forever. I want it all, Jared. I want love and happiness forever.

Jared: And we can have that, and we will have that.

Theresa: But I need more time.

Jared: Well, I need to know by today.

Theresa: Uh, what is your rush?

Jared: Tess, you've known how I felt about you for a long time now, and I want nothing more in the world but to marry you. But if you're afraid to marry me because of Ethan -- I told you, I will not play second fiddle to him. So think long and hard about this, and I will expect an answer by the next time I see you.

Theresa: Jared, I thought that you said that I could -- Ethan.

Tabitha: Let's see if I can find a spell that will counter the one that Endora put on Miguel. Oh, yeah, this should do. Oh, oh, Lucifer, Lucifer, please make this work.

Tabitha: Oogli, boogli, rumbli, pelt, bring us some fire, make the frozen one melt.

Miguel: Uh, uh, what's going on? Why is it -- why is it so hot in here? Oh, my arms, my arms hurt, too.

Tabitha: Oh, oh, well, you know, it's -- it's -- it's my furnace. It's -- it's so temperamental.

Miguel: I thought we fixed it.

Tabitha: Miguel, remember, you were off to the Crane mansion to stop that wedding.

Miguel: Yes, yes, yes, yes, I can't waste any more time.

Tabitha: Yeah.

Miguel: I have to stop Kay from marrying Fox.

Tabitha: Well, Endora is not going to be too pleased about this. But it will be worth enduring her wrath if Miguel could stop that wedding.

Kay: Ok, so I can't put this off any longer or I am going to be late to my own wedding.

Kay: I -- I can't hurt Fox. He is the nicest, sweetest, kindest, most unselfish man I have ever met, so...and he loves me. He loves me. So here I go.

Kay: I'm going to marry Fox. Oh, God.

Fox: If Kay hears about one word of this, Eve, I'll ruin you.

Eve: Look, I don't even have to say anything, Fox, because Miguel saw your file, and he's going to tell her even if you don't.

Fox: She won't believe him. She'll believe me, and I swear to God, if you back up Miguel's story, you'll never practice medicine again, not here, not anywhere. Do you understand me, Eve?

Eve: Are you threatening me, Fox?

Fox: It's not a threat, Eve. It's a promise. I love Kay, and I'm going to marry her. And if you do anything to screw that up, you will regret it.

Fox: Don't mess with me, Eve, or you will pay for it dearly.

Sam: Where are you now, Grace? I know your flight was cancelled again last night.

Grace: Yeah, well, they did put us up in a hotel not far from here, but now we're waiting for the weather to clear. Sam, I'm afraid I'm going to miss the wedding.

Sam: Oh, God, I hope not.

Grace: Well, I just don't see how I can make it. You know, maybe I'll be there for part of the reception.

Sam: Well, it's going to be going on all day and night, I'm sure. You should be able to make it.

Grace: Well, I would like to see Kay in her wedding dress. I mean, she is still my daughter no matter what she did.

Sam: I know. Look, I don't care about anything right now. Ok, I just want you home. I can't -- I can't wait to see you.

Grace: Yeah, I'm dying to see you, too, Sam. Hey, have you had a chance to have a good talk with Kay ever since you found out that, you know, she knew about Ivy's plot and that she didn't say anything?

Sam: Not exactly.

Grace: Well, have you forgiven her?

Sam: No, no, I haven't.

Grace: Sam, it's her wedding day. You have to go to her before her wedding. Tell her that you love her. Tell her that you -- tell her that you forgive her.

Sam: Grace, I, um --

Grace: Sam, please, tell her -- tell her that you love her, and tell her that you want to walk her down the aisle. Come on, Sam, you have to talk to her. I mean, she's -- she's our little girl.

Sam: You know what? You're right. I'm going to go talk to her right now, ok? Uh, look, I love you, and I can't wait to see you.

Grace: I can't wait to see you, too.

Grace: I can't wait to get home.

Priest: Unfortunately, Grace, that's not going to happen.

Fancy: Luis, how can you do this?

Sheridan: Luis can do whatever he wants, Fancy.

Fancy: But he loves me.

Sheridan: Uh, he doesn't love you. He doesn't even want you. He wants me.

Fancy: No, you're wrong. You're horrible. How can you do this to me? Luis is the man I love.

Sheridan: Fancy, do you really want to be with a man that doesn't love you, that loves someone else? Come on, you would never make it together. You could never make him as happy as I do.

Fancy: Oh, I can't keep doing this. I'm going crazy thinking that Sheridan is with Luis and that rapist is coming after me again. He's not. He can't. I'm safe. Luis said so.

[Sighs] But I need to sleep.

Theresa: What are you doing here?

Ethan: I had to see you.

Theresa: Look, if this is about Jared --

[Phone rings]

Ethan: Excuse me. Yeah.

Gwen: Ethan, it's me. Uh, we need to talk.

Theresa: What is this?

Gwen: Who is that? Is that Theresa with you?

Theresa's voice: To Gwen with all of my heart, Ethan. This is Gwen's wedding ring.

Theresa: Is your marriage to Gwen over?

On the Next Passions:

Fox: I will stop Miguel from ruining my wedding one way or another.

Kay: I can't wait to see you, Mom.

Grace: I'll be with you soon.

Theresa: Did you and Gwen break up? I need to know. It's really important.
