Kay: Oh, Fox, I love you.

Fox: Oh, Kay, oh, do that again.

Miguel: Ok, the hell with this. Ok, I don't care if you're dying. Get your hands off my girl. We love each other.

Kay: Hey, what are you doing? He's sick.

Fox: What the hell are you doing here? Get out of here.

Miguel: I am. With the woman I love and the woman who loves me.

Fox: Hey. Hey, bud.

Paloma: I guess Fancy's over her hypothermia.

Sheridan: Yeah, it looks that way.

Paloma: We should stop watching this.

Sheridan: No. Sam said that we need to stay in contact with Fancy and Luis while he and Chris get a rescue team together.

Paloma: Let me then. It'll only hurt you more to keep watching this. You shouldn't do this to yourself.

Sheridan: I can't be hurt any more than I already am.

Fancy: Oh.

Luis: Fancy. Fancy, I thought you were ok.

Fancy: I am, I am. I am better.

Luis: No, you're not.

Fancy: I'll be fine.

Luis: Fancy. Fancy, hey. Just hang on. Go on, stay warm, stay warm. There you go. There you go. Ok, just stay with me.

Fancy: I'm not going anywhere. Never felt better in my life. Oh.

Ethan: So, if tonight's the night that all the secrets are coming out, so be it. Tell me the other secret. Tell me why Theresa stopped chasing me in Rome. Come on, she did a complete 180 over there. Without warning, she just gave me up.

Gwen: Or so we thought.

Ethan: Something happened that made her do it. I think you know what it is, so why don't you just tell me what Theresa's been hiding?

J.T.: Well, why do you think I know?

Ethan: Why don't you just tell me the truth? This has gone on long enough. Tell me Theresa's secret.

J.T.: What secret? I have no idea what you are talking about.

Gwen: Oh, you are such a liar, J.T. I know you know what it is. You need to tell us.

Kay: Fox, wake up. Wake up. Come on, wake up. Are you crazy? He's dying, and you attack him? My God, wake up, please. Oh, God. What are you doing, what are you thinking? I told you to wait for me, I told you I would come to your room.

Miguel: I heard you, Kay.

Kay: Oh, now you're eavesdropping on me? Don't you trust me?

Miguel: I couldn't help it, ok?

Kay: Oh, my God. Oh, my God, I don't feel a pulse.

Miguel: No.

Kay: Do you realize what you have done?

Miguel: No, no, no, no -- oh, my God, Kay, I'm so sorry. I didn't know my own strength.

Kay: Oh, my -- why would you do this?

Miguel: I just lost it, Kay. I can't stand the idea of you being with another man, don't you understand that?

Kay: Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Fox.

Fox: Oh, yeah, Kay, that's it, right there, baby.

Miguel: I can't listen to any more of this. I've got to get out of here or Fox will end up dead... tonight.

Luis: I'll have you warm in no time, ok? Don't you worry.

Fancy: I know I will be warm.

Luis: Maybe I should stoke the fire.

Fancy: No. Don't let me go.

Luis: Ok, ok. Anyways, I'm sure Sam's working on a rescue plan right now. He'll have us out of here sometime soon.

Fancy: I'll be ok. I hope he doesn't think we're fraternizing.

Luis: Look at you, making jokes. Must be feeling better already.

Fancy: Just hold me, Luis.

Luis: You know, as soon as we get out of here, I'm going to have them fill in this damn shaft. Seriously. It's right next to a park. What if some kid was playing hide-and-seek and fell in here?

Fancy: You're just talking to keep me focused, aren't you? I remember you telling us in class to do that for victims.

Luis: You're a good student.

Fancy: Am I really?

Luis: Yeah. What you lack in experience, you make up for in determination. I like that. Hey, Fancy. No going to sleep, all right, not till we're rescued, ok?

Fancy: You don't want me to sleep in case I have a concussion, right?

Luis: That's right. I'm sure we're going to be on the top soon.

Fancy: I believe you. You're my hero, Luis.

Paloma: Look. I found energy bars in the emergency equipment. Want one?

Sheridan: No, thanks.

Paloma: They're not bad. I wanted to keep up our strength.

Sheridan: We're not the ones in trouble.

Paloma: I don't remember learning that in lifesaving class.

Sheridan: Oh, hush up, what do you know, anyway? I'm sorry. I'm just not myself.

Paloma: No problem.

Gwen: Well, J.T., don't just stand there. I mean, tell us Theresa's secret. I know you know it, and you need to tell us.

Ethan: Wait a minute, I thought you -- I thought you hadn't had any dealings with him. Why are you saying this?

Gwen: Because it's obvious that he's lying. Look at his face.

J.T.: Ok. This is the thanks I get. I don't know what Mrs. Crane is hiding. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's a doozie worth millions.

Theresa: I have no secret.

Gwen: You are such a liar. You are even worse.

J.T.: Why should I lie about such a thing? Look. I have absolutely nothing to gain from lying about what Theresa may or may not be hiding. I don't know about you, but I only lie when I have good reason.

Theresa: Ethan, look at them. They are in collusion. He's trying to protect your lying wife.

Gwen: You know what? I'm not the liar in this room. It's you.

Theresa: Gwen, you're the one who sent the information to the tabloids!

Gwen: Do you even have any idea how ridiculous that sounds? It doesn't even make any sense, this crazy theory of yours. Why would I do something like that? It destroyed the life of the man I love.

Theresa: Yes, it did. You're absolutely right. We were about to be married and you stole --

Ethan: Enough, enough, come on.

Theresa: You have got to believe me.

Ethan: No, I don't. I don't understand your actions. But I -- I guess I sympathize, Theresa, because I know your tendency to -- to get dramatic and to tell yourself something over and over and over again until you just believe it. For years now, you've thought that Gwen and Rebecca were the ones that destroyed my life, right?

Theresa: Because they did, Ethan.

Ethan: But we've just heard it from the horse's mouth that it was Phyllis that sent the e-mail. We have to accept it.

Theresa: No, I'm not going to accept it! It's not the truth!

Ethan: You -- you're worrying the hell out of me. You have this obsession with this. What is going on? If there was any foundation to your story, Theresa, J.T. would corroborate it. But he hasn't. As a matter of fact, he's done exactly the opposite. He has said that what you've been saying is absolutely wrong. Now, please just accept it? Please. Desperately hanging on to what you believe is true when you know it's not -- it's ruining your life, it's ruining all of our lives. Please. Just accept it. My wife did not betray me.

Noah: Whoa, hey. What's up, man? It's a little late for dodge ball. Or is it something I said?

Miguel: Sorry. I didn't know you were there. It's just -- what are you doing here, man?

Noah: I'm just taking a shortcut to my house. You all right? What's up?

Miguel: Nothing, I'm cool.

Noah: Ah. It's my evil sister Kay, isn't it?

Miguel: What am I supposed to do, Noah?

Noah: Look, it'll work itself out, man. You know, Kay is persona non grata at my house right now for, you know, for helping Ivy break apart my parents. But my mother is coming home and she is going to wield her magic hammer and knock us all into shape. Including Kay. She might even be able to undo some of the harm that Kay and Ivy did.

Miguel: That's not what I'm talking about.

Noah: Oh.

Miguel: No, no, no. Look, I didn't mean it that way, I'm sorry. I'm glad your parents are going to give it another shot. It's just I'm talking about something totally different.

Noah: Yeah. Look, I already got an earful about you from Fox.

Miguel: Oh, right. You two are awfully chummy.

Noah: He loves her. All right? And considering what she's done, I'm not sure why. But they're getting married and he's not too thrilled with you.

Miguel: I'll bet.

Noah: Look, don't pull a Theresa and try to screw with their wedding. Ok? Why don't you play the good guy? Do us all a favor, just bow out gracefully.

Miguel: I can't do that.

Noah: Why not?

Miguel: Kay told me she loves me. She wants to spend the rest of her life with me and our daughter.

Fox: Oh, you're all mine. I love you so much.

Kay: I know you do. And I love you, too, I do. Wait, wait, wait.

Fox: What?

Kay: I know you're tired.

Fox: I'm never too tired for you, my love. I love you and I want to make love to you. I want to hold you in my arms each and every waking moment until...death do us part.

Kay: I know.

Fox: Kiss me again. Make love to me.

Kay: No. No, I can't do this.

Fox: Why is that? Hey. What's wrong? Don't you want to make love to the man you love?

Luis: Ok, we should stop. You need to conserve your energy.

Fancy: Think of it as mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

Luis: Very funny.

Fancy: This is all my fault. I know that. I'm sorry I got us into this mess. You must be so mad at me for running off like that.

Luis: I'm just relieved that I found you. When you fell down the shaft... that was terrible. I thought you were going to die. Like my heart almost stopped.

Paloma: I wish I could hear what they're saying.

Sheridan: I don't need to. I know. I've lost Luis.

Paloma: No, don't say that. He'll be fine.

Sheridan: No, that's not what I meant. I've lost Luis' heart. I mean, look at him. He's -- he's fallen for Fancy. Literally. I can feel the love they have for each other just coming through the screen. I'm married to Chris and I shouldn't be thinking these things. But I can't help it. It's gone. Our love is gone. All those years, all those lifetimes together, it's -- it's over. You must -- you must think I'm an idiot.

Paloma: Oh, no, don't be silly.

Sheridan: I love Chris and I take our marriage vows seriously. But I always thought -- no, I always knew that somehow Luis would always be there for me to return to. And now he never will be.

Theresa: Ethan, I swear I am telling you the truth. Gwen did betray you.

Ethan: Just stop, just stop. Would you listen to yourself? You keep repeating yourself over and over and over again when you know it's not true.

Theresa: It is true.

Gwen: Honey, she's a cornered rat, she's going to strike --

Ethan: Gwen, please, I just -- no, I just -- we need to put all of this behind us, we really do. And I've given you ample opportunity to prove what you're saying is true, but it was Phyllis --

Theresa: It wasn't Phyllis!

J.T.: Oh, it was. She was a real go-getter, that gal. You should have seen the list of gardeners she compiled over the years that knew your mother rather well. That girl could start her own landscaping service.

Ethan: That's -- that's great. Do you -- do you see? I seem to have more than enough proof that my wife was not involved with sending that letter to "Daily Private Lives." Now I don't want to talk about this again!

Noah: Kay can't love you, Miguel, she loves Fox. They're getting married. What about their wedding?

Miguel: What about it, Noah? Ok, it's not going to happen anymore. I'm the man she loves. I'm the man she wants to be with, not Fox.

Noah: Are you sure about that?

Miguel: Absolutely.

Noah: Wow. Wow. What a mess. Leave it to Kay to mess up her own wedding.

Miguel: Look, I just told you there's not going to be a wedding.

Noah: All right, all right. Poor Fox.

Miguel: You got that right.

Noah: Well, at least you're not gloating. You know, I like Fox. I think he was really good for Kay. But if you guys are in love, then great. Good luck to you. You're going to need it. Maybe you can whip Kay into shape.

Miguel: Look, you know what? That's just your anger talking, Noah.

Noah: Maybe. Because I am so mad at her about what she did to our parents, what she did to me, what she did to Jessica, but you're right. I -- I haven't given up on her yet. All right, if you guys have a chance at happiness, you know, after everything that you've gone through, and also, you know, to see my niece living together under the same roof with both of her parents? It's great. You know, mazel tov, right? It is a little bizarre, though. Because, the way I hear it, Kay was chasing you around for years. But now, now you guys are together.

Miguel: That's just it. We're not, Noah, we're not together.

Noah: What do you mean?

Miguel: Well -- look, man, before Kay even had a chance to tell Fox how we felt about each other, we overheard him on the phone with his doctor.

Noah: His doctor?

Miguel: Look, this is going to sound hard to believe, but Fox is dying.

Noah: What?

Miguel: It's only a matter of months. Kay swears she's going to tell him the truth about us, but -- but I doubt it. I mean, she thinks it's going to be too cruel for him. It's going to be too much for poor sick old Fox to handle.

Fox: What is it, Kay? Why won't you make love to me?

Kay: Are you sure you want to do this? I mean, you know, you had a fever before and you said you were getting sick, so --

Fox: I feel fine. See, I want to make love to you. I want to hold you in my arms each and every moment before --

Kay: I want to make love to you, too, honey, but --

Fox: Listen. The times when a man and a woman express their deepest love for each other are to be treasured. Kay, God gave us this gift so that no matter how rough life gets or how hard the future may be, we have this so we can lose ourselves in each other. Ok? Life is so short, Kay. Don't you think that we should take his gift and grab it with both hands?

Kay: Yeah, we should.

Fox: Let's not waste another moment.

Fancy: I am so grateful. I am so thankful you found me in time.

Luis: Oh, I'm the thankful one.

Paloma: You are the one who told Fancy that she was free to date Luis, that you had no hold over him.

Sheridan: I know.

Paloma: Then why are you so upset? It doesn't make a lot of sense. You can't have both Chris and Luis, can you?

Sheridan: I know. I know. It's just not fair. I mean, I fell in love with Chris when I thought Luis was dead. I was grieving. To be honest with you, I fell in love with Chris because of James. I know that now. Marty was gone and I was just yearning for the love of a child. And it was so terrible that James lost his mother in that tsunami, but I looked on it as God giving me this gift to help heal my heart. And I love James so much. Not that I will ever forget Marty. But I had so much love to give and no one to give it to. And then, when I found out that Chris was James' father, one thing led to another, and it just seemed natural that I love both of them.

Paloma: But do you truly love both of them? Or just James? Because, Sheridan, if that's the case --

Sheridan: I know. I know.

Paloma: That's not enough. To stay in a marriage for the rest of your life because of a child? What have you done?

Gwen: So, are we done? Because it's late, and my husband and I would like to go to bed.

Ethan: Are you going to be all right?

Theresa: Uh, no, I think that my life has just been turned upside-down.

Gwen: In your head, maybe.

Ethan: Theresa, I'm sorry. Look. I think you truly do need to move on with your life.

Theresa: Well, I tried that, Ethan, and it didn't work because I love you and you love me.

Gwen: Ok, this is just enough of this. Don't even encourage her, just --

Ethan: You're right, you're right. It's probably a good time to go.

Gwen: Ok, um, why did you double-cross Theresa, because you lied to protect me.

J.T.: Yeah.

Gwen: Why, though? I mean, you know, you said Theresa outmaneuvered me, uh, she was supposed to get Ethan, I was supposed to lose, why the 180?

J.T.: I can't really explain it right now, but if you want me to keep my mouth shut, I need that cash back in my pocket.

Gwen: I will, I will, I swear I will, but I need to know what's going on. Why did you make up that lie that Phyllis sent the e-mail?

J.T.: Ask Julian.

Gwen: Julian?

Gwen: Ok, what does Julian have to do with any of this?

J.T.: I can't tell you right now, but ask the man.

Theresa: I'm telling you the truth.  J.T. is lying.  Somebody got to him.

Ethan: Who?

Theresa: Why don't you ask your wife because it was either her or her mother.

Ethan: No, no way.  Gwen was here all night.

Theresa: Gwen was not here all night with you.  She was with me and J.T. Cornell in his hotel room.

Ethan: She was here all night.  She was here all evening.

Theresa: Ethan, that is impossible.  She couldn't have been in two places at the same time.

Ethan: Would you stop doing this to yourself? Look, she was not at any hotel and she was not the one who betrayed me.

Theresa: Do you honestly believe that story about Phyllis?

Ethan: It actually makes perfect sense, Theresa.

Theresa: I swear on our love for each other that I am telling you the truth.

Ethan: I can't believe I'm going to do this.  I can't believe - I must be nuts, but I'm going to give you another chance.

Theresa: Alright.

Ethan: But you need to show me proof.  Show me something. Is there anything you can show me that Gwen betrayed me?  Anything?

Theresa: You just give me 5 minutes alone with J.T., ok?

Ethan: Alright.

Theresa: J.T., come with me.

J.T.: You know, I've had just about enough of you tonight, so ta-ta.

Theresa: Tell me who talked to you!  Tell me!

Fox: If my life is going to have any true meaning, I need to have that moment where I put my ring around your finger and make you mine.

Kay: You are so good.

Fox: Good? I don't think so.

Kay: Yes, you are a good and honorable person.

Fox: I want to do the honorable thing, make you my wife, no matter how much time we have together.  I know they'll be the happiest times of my life.

Kay: You sound really serious. What's wrong?

Fox: Nothing's wrong.  You love me, don't you?

Kay: Of course I do, but--

Fox: Shh, no more talking, just show me.

Luis: How are you doing?

Fancy: I'm ok.

Luis: Fancy, hey Fancy, you can't go to sleep.

Fancy: Oh, sorry.

Luis: Try and stay conscious, ok?

Fancy: I'm trying.  I'm just so cold.

Luis: I'm sorry.  It's so damn wet down here.  There you go.

{Luis: I never knew what true love was til now.  I can't believe it took something as dangerous as diving down an abandoned mine shaft to make me realize how much I truly love you.  Will you ever forgive me?

Fancy: Of course I can.  I love you with all my heart.

Luis: And I, you.

Fancy: Maybe we'll never get out of here.

Luis: Maybe we don't have to.}

Sheridan: Maybe I'm shallow, maybe I'm silly, but just look at them.

Paloma: He's just holding her.  It's not like they're making love.

Sheridan: But look at his face, he is falling in love with her.

Paloma: No, you don't know that.

Sheridan: Yes, I do.  I know that expression on his face better than anyone.  He is in love.

Paloma: I don't get it.  Why did you tell Fancy it was ok for her to go after Luis if you didn't mean it?

Sheridan: I did mean it.  I'm married to Chris.  I had no right to tell Fancy she couldn't go after Luis.  But now that I've seen the two of them together, I realize what I've lost.  I realize how much I still love Luis.  My God, what have I done?  I mean, Luis is the great love of my life.  I thought that we would spend our lives together.  I thought we would grow old together.

Paloma: So why are you standing there trying not to cry? Tell him.  Tell him you love him, that you've always loved him.  Go on, Sheridan, do it.

Sheridan: I can't.

Paloma: Of course you can, of course you can.  I know what you two were like.  I was in Mexico with you, remember? If you love my brother the way you say you do, you have to stop them right now.  Tell him how much you love him.

Sheridan: But look at the way he's treating Fancy.  He loves her.

Paloma: Look, I don't want to hurt Fancy, ok, she's my friend, but it's your whole life we're talking about.  You have to tell him you love him.  Do it. Come on before it's too late.

Sheridan: I can't.  If I leave Chris, I'll lose James.  I can't.  I can't do that.

Luis: Fancy, don't go to sleep, ok?  There'll be here any time now.  We'll get through this together.

Noah: Poor Fox.  No matter what you think of him, he doesn't deserve to die.  I'm kind of sorry you told me. I hate keeping secrets nowadays.  They only tend to wreck your life.  Now are you sure about this?

Miguel: Yeah.  I mean the timing was right out of a soap opera.  Just when we were about to tell him how much we love each other, he gets this phone call from his doctor.  I don't know, man, if I didn't know any better, I'd say he planned it that way.

Noah: He is a Crane.  You think he did?

Miguel: No, it's impossible.  He didn't know we overheard him talking on the phone.  He still doesn't know.

Fox: Oh, my God.  You made love to me like it was my last night on earth.

Kay: Yeah, that was pretty intense.  You sure you're feeling ok?

Fox: Feeling ok?  Are you kidding me?  Oh yeah, but my stomach is just not feeling right.

Kay: Oh, let me get you something for it.

Fox: No, no, don't go anywhere.  Stay by my side all night.

{Fox: It's worse than you thought?  But that would mean that I'm -- that I'm really dying? No, doc, I can't die, I'm about to marry Kay right now.}

Fox: Oh, my gosh, suddenly I am so tired.

Kay: Well no wonder.

Fox: No, it's different. It's like I can barely keep my eyes open.

Kay: Well then go to sleep, go to sleep.

Fox: Yeah, oh, oh.

Theresa: You tell me who sold you out!

Ethan: Theresa! Stop!

Gwen: Are you really -- honey I mean are you surprised she's resorting to violence?

Theresa: That's much better than what you did, Gwen.  You're not going to get away with this, J.T.  I'm gonna have you killed.  I can do that.  You do know that, right?

J.T.: You know, I think I've had enough of this little harpee's tongue for a lifetime.  Bye bye, y'all.

Theresa: And as for you, Gwen--

Gwen: Not even a word.  Just get her out of here.

Ethan: Theresa, Theresa, it's time to go.  It is time.  Come on.

Theresa: You're making a very big mistake.

Ethan: The only mistake I made was listening to your crazy theories all this time.  I told you I had a hard time believing that Gwen would betray me, and, tonight, J.T. proved me right.  No more fantasies, it's the end of the story.

Theresa: You'll see, Ethan.

Ethan: I'm not going to see.  You need to get on with your life.  We need to get on with ours.  Whatever you thought we had, it's not gonna happen.  I'm sorry.  Please go.

Luis: Hey, you need to stay awake, alright?  Not just because you may have a head injury but because you may have to help Sam with the rescue.

Fancy: I understand.  I'll stay awake.  Luis?

Luis: What?

Fancy: If I died right now, I'd die a very happy woman.

Paloma: Please, Sheridan, it might be your last chance.  Tell Luis you love him.

Sheridan: I can't.  I won't.  I can't risk losing my son.

Noah: Wow, I don't know what to say, Miguel, except good luck.  I love my sister no matter what happens and I want to see her happy.

Miguel: We'll do the right thing, whatever that is.

Miguel: Kay!

Kay: I'm sorry.  I came to you as quickly as I could.

Fox: Miguel, you poor, stupid, naive fool.  Don't try to outfox the fox.

Gwen: I really can't believe the way she acts and the insane things that come out of her mouth.

Ethan: I know, it's appalling sometimes.

Gwen: So do you actually finally believe me?  Because I'm going to be honest with you, I think you owe me an apology, honey, for doubting me in the first place.

Ethan: You're right. I do. Forgive me, please.

Gwen: Of course I do.  Theresa can be very convincing when she gets going.

Ethan: I know she can.  Gwen, I gotta admit it, I don't understand why Theresa would make up such a wild story.  Why would she say that J.T. had proof that you and your mother betrayed -- that you and your mother were the guilty parties if J.T. didn't have the proof?  Surely she would have known that the truth would have come out eventually and she would have been proved wrong so it doesn't make sense at all.

Gwen: You know what? Nothing Theresa does makes sense.  She's got a really bizarre imagination and I think it just kind of takes over her.

Ethan: Yeah, I guess you're right about that.

Gwen: Absolutely.

Theresa: How could this have happened?  All my hopes, all my dreams, dead.  I'm never gonna prove the truth to Ethan, never.

On the Next Passions:

Fox: My days aren't numbered, Miguel, but yours are.

Theresa: Tell me why you didn't tell Ethan the truth!

Julian: Because I stopped him.

Paloma: If you don't tell Luis how you really feel, I will.
