Whitney: Mm, good morning.

Chad: Good morning to you, beautiful.

Whitney: Hmm. I feel like I just went to sleep.

Chad: Oh, baby, you're still tired. Go back to sleep.

Whitney: Baby, you see what time it is? We overslept. Now you're going to be late for work. Ok, why don't you get dressed and I'll make some breakfast, ok?

Chad: Baby, relax. I let you sleep in on purpose.

Whitney: You did? Why?

Chad: Well, you were up with Miles like five times last night and I was on a phone call with overseas clients till all hours. I am not expected to be in to work yet.

Whitney: You're not?

Chad: Not for a while. So come here. Relax.

Whitney: Mm.

Chad: Get your rest. You'll need it.

Whitney: Mm, thank you, baby.

Chad: Anytime.

[Whitney giggles]

Ethan: You know what? This was a good idea -- to walk back to work through the park.

Theresa: Yeah. I had to meet Little Ethan here anyway. It's beautiful now, isn't it?

Ethan: Yeah, it is.

Theresa: I love Harmony in the fall.

Ethan: I love it, too.

Theresa: I know.

Ethan: Hey, hold on.

Theresa: What?

Ethan: I can tell that something's still bothering you. I really can. Do you want to talk to me about it, please?

Theresa: I just -- I just wanted to be sure that you would protect Little Ethan's interests until he was old enough to take over the company. You assured me that you would, and that's what matters to me.

Ethan: You're sure? 'Cause, Theresa, I swear I saw some guy running away from you in that alley. And you didn't look too happy about it. I mean, who was that anyway?

Theresa: You know, it was business. Like I said, you know. So just -- let's just leave it alone, ok, please?

Ethan: Theresa, no, I can't leave this alone, because something isn't right here. Julian is trying to get partial custody of your son. And you just canceled a meeting about your child's custody to meet whoever that was in the alley. Then you give me some story about protecting Little Ethan's interests.

Theresa: Look, I am really sorry that I missed our meeting, but what I had to deal with was extremely important.

Ethan: Then what has gotten you so upset? Tell me what's going on.

Gwen: Oh, get in here.

Rebecca: What? What? What's wrong? Oh no, don't tell me. The custody hearing, it went badly and Ethan's in a state?

Gwen: Ok, there was no custody hearing. Theresa canceled it at the last second.

Rebecca: What? She canceled it?

Gwen: Yeah.

Rebecca: Well, I don't get it. That was her top priority -- to keep Julian from getting custody of Little Ethan.

Gwen: Yeah, I mean, it was. And I guess it still is. But apparently something more important came up, and I think it has to do with Ethan.

Rebecca: Ethan? Not J.T.?

Gwen: I don't know, maybe J.T. Mother, we have so many fronts to cover here. We have to prevent J.T. from telling Theresa we were the ones who revealed Ethan's paternity, and we need to find out why Theresa named Ethan as trustee in her will to run Crane until Little Ethan comes of age.

Rebecca: You're right. We have a lot of work to do. And that is why we need pometinis.

Gwen: I'm going crazy here. I'm tearing my hair out trying to think of why Theresa did such an about-face.

Rebecca: It is so frustrating. Maybe if we could think in Spanish, we could figure out the way tacocita thinks.

Gwen: It has to be something J.T. told her in Rome.

Rebecca: Yeah. It has to. Because she was hellbent on having J.T. prove to Ethan that we were the blabbermouths and not her.

Gwen: Yeah, and suddenly she stops caring whether J.T. tells Ethan the truth? And huh -- she lied. She even lied about seeing you and J.T. together last night.

Rebecca: Oh yeah, she totally saw us out on the ledge.

Gwen: And she definitely did not want Ethan to catch J.T.

Rebecca: Why is she so afraid to have Ethan talk to J.T.?

Gwen: And why did she suddenly name Ethan trustee in her will? J.T. had to have told her something in Rome that's making her do these crazy things.

Rebecca: Yeah. We have to find out what he said.

Gwen: Mother, you have to find him. You have to get him to tell us what he told her.

Rebecca: I agree.

Rebecca: He's still not picking up. Hi, cutie pie, it's me, Becky. Listen, we need to finish what we started. So call me ASAP. Can't wait to see you -- little rat.

Ethan: Theresa. I can read you like a book.

Theresa: Really?

Ethan: Mm-hmm. And I know when you're hiding something. So what is it? What are you not telling me?

{Pilar: Ethan needs to know that he's Little Ethan's father. It will all work out for the best, you'll see. }

Theresa: Ethan -- Little

Ethan: Mommy.

Theresa: Hi, sweetheart.

Ethan: Hey.

Theresa: Oh my goodness, I missed you so much.

Little Ethan: I missed you, too. I love you.

Theresa: I love you. Come here -- mm.

Whitney: Mm, I love you, baby.

Chad: I love you, too, sweetheart.

{Chad: I missed this so much. I need this. So, I don't feel guilty. I don't feel guilty at all. }

Whitney: Chad? Honey, what's the matter?

Sam: Ivy, oh, Ivy, oh.

Ivy: Ow.

Sam: Hey, are you ok?

Ivy: I'm ok. But what the hell is going on here?

Kay: Oh, my God, you're bleeding.

Fox: Tell you what's going on here. It's Miguel. Mother, I'm sorry. Are you ok?

Ivy: I'm fine.

Miguel: Look, I won't have you talking to my mother that way.

Fox: You tell her to stop trying to convince my fiancée to marry you, instead of me, huh?

Ivy: What? Pilar would never interfere.

Fox: She just did. She wants her son to marry Kay.

Ivy: I -- I'm sure she's not deliberately trying to cause trouble.

Fox: Of course she is. She wants -- she wants Kay to marry him instead of me.

Pilar: Look, your mother doesn't want to see you marry Kay any more than I do.

Fox: That is a lie, Pilar.

Miguel: What? You're calling my mother a liar?

Sam: Hey, everyone just calm down.

Ivy: That's ridiculous. Why would I object to Fox's marriage to Kay? He loves her.

Pilar: Look, Ivy, I worked for you for a long time, and I know you very well. And you know that you don't want to see your prince of a son marry someone you think is beneath him.

Ivy: Ah, that's crazy. Fox is marrying the daughter of the man I love.

Pilar: Well, you may love Sam, but you don't think his daughter's good enough for your son.

Ivy: [Scoffs]

Fox: Mother, that's not how you feel about Kay, is it?

Ivy: Of course not, Fox.

Kay's voice: Yeah, right.

Fox: Good, well then, tell your mama to put a lid on it, huh?

Miguel: Look, shut up, or I'm going to hit you again.

Sam: Hey, hey, everyone just calm down. Ok?

Fox: Tough guy.

Pilar: You're right, Sam. I'll go.

Miguel: You don't have to go anywhere, Mama.

Pilar: It's ok, mijo. I'm not welcome here anyway. Don't give up on Kay.

Miguel: I won't.

Ivy: Sam, you weren't supposed to see my wedding dress till I walked down the aisle. But I heard the commotion in here, and I --

Sam: Hey, don't worry about it. I'm sure you'll look beautiful.

Ivy: Oh, no, there's blood on my dress.

Fox: I'm sorry, Mom.

Ivy: It's not your fault, Fox. I know. Miguel hit you first.

Fox: Yeah, I know.

Kay: Ok, it -- it doesn't matter who started it. Just stop fighting.

Ivy: I better go see if I can get this stain out.

Ivy: Damn Miguel. He's ruined my dress. Ok, there must be a book around here to tell me how to get the stain out. Oh, let's see what Martha has to say.

Eve: Hello, Ivy.

Ivy: Eve, what are you doing here?

Eve: I need to speak to Sam.

Ivy: What about?

Eve: Jessica missed her therapy session.

Ivy: Oh. Well, now may not be the best time. Sam's in the living room. He's really upset. Jessica and Spike have moved out and we have no idea where they are.

Eve: You mean she's out there with Spike?

Ivy: Yes. And she's working the streets again.

Eve: God, Sam must just be so devastated.

Ivy: Yes, he is. He's devastated. We're all devastated. And now on top of everything else, we're getting married right away. And my dress has a stain on it. All right. Well, Martha says some seltzer or baking soda and a little lemon juice.

Eve: I can't believe that you're going through with this, Ivy.

Ivy: What? Marrying Sam? You know it's what I've always wanted.

Eve: I know. I also know what you did to -- to get him away from his wife.

Ivy: Please -- ancient history. Just drop it.

Eve: Ivy, won't you please learn from my experience? Secrets always come out.

Ivy: My secret is safe.

Eve: Do you know why I think my life really went all to hell? Because I helped you to manipulate Sam. Bad karma.

Ivy: Oh, please, Eve, stop being a drama queen. Just help me get this stain out.

Eve: I helped you to keep your secret, Ivy. I'll be damned if I'm going to help you get a stain out of your dress. Frankly, I think that it's fate telling you that you are not supposed to marry Sam.

Gwen: Oh.

Rebecca: Gwennie, relax. J.T. will call me back.

Gwen: How do you know that? He could be long gone from Harmony by now. And we needed answers, like, yesterday.

Rebecca: Honey, he wouldn't leave town without having a, you know, good-bye roll in the -- you know, romantic tryst.

Gwen: Ok, seriously, you really need to just listen to me, 'cause whatever Theresa's secret is, it has to be huge. Because we all know how obsessed she is with keeping custody of Little Ethan away from Julian. Then today all of a sudden she cancels an important meeting?

Rebecca: Well, Ethan is Julian's attorney. What does he say?

Gwen: He's just as surprised as everyone else. He's trying to track her down to find out what happened.

Rebecca: If she's keeping a secret from him, he's not going to be able to get it out of her. However, she may have confided in one of her tribe.

Gwen: Her tribe?

Rebecca: Yeah. The Lopez-FitzGerald clan. She may have confided in her mamacita.

Gwen: Oh, you know she may have also told Whitney. She is her best friend.

Rebecca: So we have to get to work on "operation get the secret out of mamacita and best friend." So you take Whitney. I'll take Pilar.

Gwen: Mother, even if Pilar knows what it is, she's not going to tell you. She hates you.

Rebecca: So what? Everybody hates me. But I can still be persuasive when I need to be.

Gwen: Oh, yes. But Pilar is not a man.

Rebecca: Ah. Ye of little faith.

Gwen: Oh, boy. Something tells me this is going to be Armageddon.

Theresa: So, did you and Dylan have fun?

Little Ethan: Uh-huh. And after soccer practice, Miss Shane took us to the arcade and we played video games.

Theresa: You played video games? Wow, it sounds like you had a great time.

Little Ethan: It was fun, but I'm hungry. Uncle Ethan, would you go with me to get something to eat?

Ethan: Hmm.

Theresa: Ah, you know, sweetheart, I think he's a little busy right now.

Ethan: You know -- you know, um, actually, I'm never too busy to spend a little time with my godson. So how about we go over there and fill up your tummy, huh?

Little Ethan: All right.

Ethan: All right. Come on, let's go.

Theresa: Ethan, if I tell you the truth, you might take Little Ethan away from me to be with you and Gwen. But how I wish it could be like this forever.

[Knock on door]

Pilar: Rebecca.

Rebecca: Yes. Hi. Can I come in?

Pilar: Why? What do you want?

Rebecca: [Laughs] Come on now. Can't a girl pay a social call?

Pilar: Why would you be paying me a social call, Rebecca?

Rebecca: Oh, don't be such a skeptic. I need your help.

Pilar: My help? You need my help -- with what?

Rebecca: My faith. Or shall I say -- lack of it.

Pilar: What makes you think I could help you?

Rebecca: Oh, because you're such a wonderful woman, and I have just been so horrible to you in the past.

Pilar: Yeah, that's true.

Rebecca: And, you know, I was walking by this little church and I heard a voice -- a voice calling to me from within the church.

Pilar: You heard a voice.

Rebecca: Yes, and then -- then I looked up and I saw this bright light and it was so -- ah, so warm and welcoming. And I knew -- I knew that God was speaking to me.

Pilar: That's amazing, Rebecca.

Rebecca: Oh, I know it is, isn't it? And -- and I knew -- I knew at that instant -- that -- that I had to mend my ways. I had to find the people that I was horrible to and make amends. You know, like they do in A.A. And then I -- well, I -- I naturally thought of you.

Pilar: I see.

Rebecca: So will you help me? Will you help me find the path to righteousness? To find the way to become a good woman again? Oh, Pilar, please. It's -- it's a matter of life and death -- of my immortal soul.

Whitney: Chad. Honey, what's wrong? What's going on?

Chad: What? What -- what do you mean?

Whitney: I -- I've just been getting the feeling that, you know, something might be on your mind, or... I just want to make sure that you're ok.

Chad: Baby, I'm perfect, ok? I couldn't be better. I love you. And I want to make love to you, again.

Whitney: Mm.

Chad: And again, and again --

[Doorbell rings] Great. Who could that be?

Whitney: I don't know. But you relax. I'll get it, ok?

Chad: All right.

Chad: I have nothing to feel guilty about. This has nothing to do with me and Whitney.

Gwen: I am so sorry if I woke you. I -- I thought you'd be up by now.

Whitney: Oh, well, Miles was a little bit fussy last night so I slept in. So what brings you by here?

Gwen: Well, I -- I need to talk to you. It's really important.

Whitney: Ok. Well, what's it about?

Gwen: It's about Theresa and Ethan. Look, Whit, I know the secret that Theresa heard in Rome. And, uh, my only question now is -- is what to do about it.

Ivy: You are being ridiculous, Eve. The stain on my dress is because Miguel and Fox were fighting. It has nothing to do with fate.

Eve: Miguel and Fox were fighting? Was that over Kay?

Ivy: Yes. Apparently Miguel has decided he wants to be with Kay. Personally, if I were Fox, I'd just let her go. But it's none of my business. Anyway, this stain has nothing to do with fate.

Eve: Do you think that maybe everything that we -- that we do is maybe just meant to be?

Ivy: Oh, like my ex-husband divorcing Rebecca so he could be with you and then you dumping him so you can go back to your ex-husband. That was all just fate?

Eve: Maybe.

Ivy: Please, Eve, you're beginning to sound like Theresa. No, no. I don't buy into all this metaphysical nonsense.

Eve: And you're probably right, Ivy. You know, because there's lots of people who'd have thought Grace leaving Sam to go back to her first husband was fated. You and I both know that that was all your doing.

Ivy: Well, and it all worked out, didn't it? I'm with the man I love. You're with your husband. Wow, the only loser I can see in this picture is poor Julian.

Eve: But T.C. had a stroke. He needed me to take care of him.

Ivy: No, Eve, he needed a full-time nurse, not a doctor working night and day. Admit it, Eve. You went back to T.C. out of guilt.

Eve: All right, Ivy, unlike you, I have a conscience. It must be just pure bliss going around without one.

Ivy: Well, we all make decisions that we have to live with for the rest of our lives. And you, in my opinion, have made some really stupid ones. You were a fool to give up on Julian -- who adores you and is one of the richest men in the world -- to take care of an invalid.

Eve: It's T.C., Ivy. I couldn't just turn my back on him, could I?

Ivy: Well -- well, I hope you're happy, Eve. I really do. I don't wish you any ill will.

Eve: Thanks, Ivy. So what am I supposed to say now? Good luck with your marriage? When I know that you tricked Sam into it?

Ivy: I didn't trick him into proposing to me. That was his own idea.

Eve: Please, Ivy. Sam and Grace had a wonderful marriage. And then you hired a man to pretend he was Grace's first husband. And she couldn't tell the difference because she'd had amnesia.

Ivy: Ok, look. Grace is having the time of her life in Europe with David and their beautiful son. She's fine.

Eve: And what if David decides to tell Grace the truth one day?

Ivy: David can't tell the truth, because David faces jail time if he does. No, Grace is staying where she is. I'm going to marry the man I love and we're going to grow old together. And no one can stop us.

Eve: I could. All I'd have to do is walk right in there, tell Sam the whole truth.

Ivy: You are not going to tell Sam anything. Don't you get it? I will do whatever I have to do to keep Sam. I will lie, I will cheat, I will ruin your reputation. I would revoke your medical license. I will kill you, if I have to, to keep Sam.

[Phone rings]

Sam: I have to take this. And I want the two of you to keep your distance from each other. Fighting is not going to get you anywhere, except in jail. You got that?

Kay: Don't worry, Dad. I will make them behave.

Fox: Yeah, you're right, love. We have a wedding to plan for and not a lot of time to do it. Come on.

Kay: You're right. There's still a lot to do.

Miguel: Kay, please. Please don't go.

Fox: Miguel.

Miguel: Look, my mother already brought it out into the open, Kay. Just please tell me you're not going to marry Fox.

Fox: Oh, my God. She's not going to tell you that, pal. She's marrying me. Get it into your little head.

Miguel: She's making a big mistake.

Fox: That is it. I'm so sick of you, you loser --

Kay: Ok, stop it. Miguel, please, do not do this.

Fox: You're right, baby. Come on, let's get out of here. You are not worth it.

Miguel: Don't make the same mistake your mother made, Kay.

Kay: What? What do you mean? What mistake did my mother make?

Miguel: Your mother was happy with your father. Kay, she was happy until this David came into her life. She chose the wrong man.

Kay: No, she didn't. My mom is very happy right now, ok? She's very happy traveling the world with David.

Fox: Come on, love, you don't have to listen to this guy's bull.

Miguel: It's not bull, ok? Grace isn't happy. She's not happy. She's -- she's far from that.

Kay: No. No, she told -- she told my dad, she told me -- she's happy.

Miguel: She just said that to make you both feel better, Kay. She's lying.

Fox: You're lying, and I'm so sick of it. Now shut the hell up, Miguel.

Miguel: I don't want you to make the same mistake your mother made, Kay. 'Cause you're going to wind up just as unhappy as she is.

Kay: What makes you think my mother is unhappy? How do you know?

Rebecca: Oh, Pilar, I mean, I wouldn't even know how to begin to atone for all my sins.

Pilar: The best place to start is confession.

Rebecca: Oh, yes. But I -- I told you I do not want to burden Father Lonigan.

Pilar: There's another priest filling in for Father Lonigan. You should go talk to Father Jim.

Rebecca: But I don't know him. And I wouldn't feel comfortable confiding in a total stranger. But -- but -- but you, Pilar -- you are such a warm, wonderful woman.

Pilar: Rebecca, I'm in no position to forgive you for anything. You need a priest.

Rebecca: But this could take a while.

Pilar: That's all right. That's what he's there for.

Rebecca: Oh no, no, no. I mean many -- many sessions.

Pilar: Anything worthwhile takes time, Rebecca.

Rebecca: Mm. I suppose that's true. And whatever I said, it would be, you know, confidential between Father Jim, me, and God.

Pilar: Of course.

Rebecca: And then my -- my sins would be forgiven? I'd be totally absolved?

Pilar: No. You would have to do penance.

Rebecca: Does it hurt?

Pilar: No.

Rebecca: Hmm -- too bad.

Pilar: Rebecca, what -- what are you really doing here?

Rebecca: Oh, Pilar, really, I'm -- I'm telling you the truth. I'm not lying. I -- I need your help. You see, I -- look, I've got this secret. And it's weighing heavily -- heavily on my soul. And if I knew that this secret could be safe with a priest --

Pilar: It will be.

Rebecca: Pilar, have you ever felt that way? I mean, have you ever had a secret that is just such a heavy burden?

{Pilar: I wish you'd just tell Ethan the truth, that he is Little Ethan's father.

Theresa: I'm not going to do it. Little Ethan would lose out on heading Crane Industries. And I might lose full custody of my son.}

Pilar: Yes, I have.

Rebecca: So you know what I'm talking about. Then you know the pain that I'm feeling.

Pilar: Yes.

Rebecca: Pilar, you know you could -- you could unburden yourself to me by -- by telling me this secret that is lying so heavily on your soul. You could help me -- help me by letting me help you.

Chad: Um, look, it's not a good idea for us to meet here anymore. She's got a son. So we need to find a new place to meet. Look, there's a hotel on route 17. How's that sound? Yeah? Good? Ok, we'll meet there next time. Bye.

Whitney: Gwen, I'm sorry, but I don't know what you're talking about.

Gwen: Whit, you don't have to pretend, ok? Look, I know you know the secret that stopped Theresa from chasing after Ethan. You know the, uh, the secret she learned in Rome.

Whitney: Oh. So -- so you know?

Gwen: Yeah, I do know.

Whitney: Does Ethan know this yet?

Gwen: No. No, he doesn't. I think we need to tell him before he hears it from someone else.

Whitney: Well, of course. That would be completely devastating. Frankly, I'm surprised that you're taking this so well.

Gwen: Well, I just want to, um, I just want to protect Ethan right now. That's all.

Whitney: Ok. Well, Theresa definitely needs to be the one to tell him, not you or me. So I'll call her right now.

Gwen: No, no, no. Don't do that.

Ethan: Come on, big guy -- ooh. That's a good one. Nice spiral.

Theresa: Thank you, Lord, for helping me keep my secret. I may never have Ethan in my life, but at least my son has his father in his. Even if he doesn't know it. No one ever has to know that Little Ethan really isn't a Crane. So his future running Crane Industries is safe. He will be protected forever.

Ethan: All right, come on. Go hit a TD. Come on. Denied -- denied -- they go down in flames.

Rebecca: Pilar, you have been through so much. Like when Martin left you for that tramp Katherine. I mean, I know your heart was absolutely broken.

Pilar: It was. I'm over it now.

Rebecca: You are? Well, my goodness. I don't know if I could ever be that forgiving. I mean, I certainly know why she left Alistair, but she didn't have to take your husband with her.

Pilar: Oh, God, Rebecca, I don't need you to remind me what Katherine and Martin did.

Rebecca: No. No, no, no, no. Of course not. I was just trying to say that I -- I sympathize with you. I do. And -- and if you want to unburden yourself by telling me this secret that is weighing so heavily on your soul, you -- you go ahead. Oh, Pilar, I -- I am a good listener. And you can think of me as your own personal priest. Oh, think how good you'll feel once you unburden yourself. Because -- because I know how these things work. Trust me. I do know these things can just blow up in your face. But you can tell me, and I won't tell anyone about this secret. Pilar, we -- we can be each other's rocks. Just tell me what it is.

Pilar: All right. All right, Rebecca. I'll tell you.

Whitney: What's wrong? Why exactly shouldn't I tell Theresa to call Ethan right this second?

Gwen: Because she's going to keep lying, Whit. I think that we need to take care of this ourselves.

Whitney: What? No. No, I don't think so at all. Hey, this is not my call, ok?

Gwen: Can you please think about how this is going to change Ethan's life? It's never going to be the same, right?

Whitney: Well, of course not. I mean, God, how could it be?

Gwen: Exactly. What's going to happen if everyone else hears it first? Can you imagine how upset Ethan's going to be?

Whitney: Yeah, I know. I -- I mean his whole world is going to be shaken up. That's for sure.

Gwen: What do we do to soften the blow for him and help him get over this?

[Phone rings]

Chad: Chad Harris. Yeah, hi. Well, I have to be at work in a little while, but I think I could take a few minutes. Ok, ok, I'll be there. Yeah, me, too. Can't wait to see you. Where's that key? Oh, that's right. I pushed it under here so Whitney wouldn't see.

Eve: Now, Ivy, put down the knife, because you cannot marry the chief of police if you're in jail.

Ivy: Please, Eve, please, please, please just leave it alone. Grace isn't coming back, ok? She's gone. She's never coming back. And I -- I love Sam. And we are going to be the happiest couple on the face of the earth. I promise I'll make him happy. Please.

Eve: I seriously doubt that, Ivy.

Fox: Come on, baby, just forget about it. He's making all of this up. He's just trying to keep you here, ok?

Miguel: I swear I'm telling you the truth, Kay.

Kay: What makes you think that my mom is unhappy?

Miguel: Because your mother's called a few times to ask about Maria. I've talked to her. Mama's talked to her. And she misses your father, Kay. She misses Jessica, she misses Noah, and she misses you. But you know what? She's afraid to come back. She's afraid because she hurt your family and she hurt Sam and she hurt you, Kay. But she loves you. She loves you very, very much.

Kay: No. No, that can't be.

Miguel: It's true, Kay. And I just don't want you to end up unhappy like she is because you chose the wrong man.

Kay: No, she -- oh, God. I never meant for this to happen.

Miguel: You never meant for what to happen?

Kay: Nothing.

Fox: Just back off, pal. You're making her upset. Can't you see that? Enough, Miguel.

Miguel: Kay, what did you do?

Kay: Nothing.

Miguel: Kay, I've known you my whole life, ok? I know you too well. I can see the guilt written all over your face. Just tell me what you did. You did something.

Kay: No, I didn't do anything! I didn't do anything!

Miguel: Yes, you did, Kay. You did something. Just tell me what you did.

Kay: No, it wasn't me. It was Ivy. She set my mom up. And she made her think that she was married to David before she had amnesia. But she didn't even know him. It was a lie. It was just this cruel story that Ivy made up. Oh, God.

Fox: Come on, Kay, you -- you don't really believe that my mother did that.

Kay: Yes, Fox, and I'm sorry. Ivy invented this -- this charade, and she convinced my mom and my dad that my mom's first husband was David. And that's why she left us.

Sam: What did you just say?

Ivy: I think I can get the stain out.

On the Next Passions:

J.T.: Come and get it.

Rebecca: You have to tell me about what you told Theresa in Rome.

Sam: How do you know she did this horrible thing you're accusing her of?

Ethan: The truth -- it always comes out, Theresa.
