Kay: Ok, I'm going to hide you in the closet until Fox leaves.

Fox: Honey, ready or not, here I come.

Fox: What -- what have you done, Kay?

Kay: I am so sorry, Fox. I never meant to hurt you.

Fox: There's coffee everywhere. It's spilt all over the place.

Kay: What?

Fox: Did you burn yourself? Are you alright?

Kay: Oh, no. No, no. It was -- it was cold when I spilled it.

Fox: Poor baby. I know how much you like something warm in the morning.

Kay: Oh. You've been reading "Penthouse" again, haven't you?

Fox: Mm, "Penthouse"? Who needs "Penthouse" when I've got you, baby?

Kay: Ooh.

Gwen: Oh, Fancy, sweetheart. What happened?

Fancy: Nothing happened. That's just it. At least nothing happened with me. Luis told me he loved me.

Gwen: Well, why are you crying? Isn't that what you want?

Fancy: No, he thought I was Aunt Sheridan.

Gwen: Oh.

Fancy: Yeah, oh. He was asleep. He was dreaming and groggy and I thought he was telling me how much he loved me. He didn't even know I was there. He still loves Aunt Sheridan and I've been wasting my time. No, Luis and I -- we'll never be together.

Paloma: My brother, the Latin lover. Very smooth, Luis.

Luis: All right, stop it. I feel bad enough as it is.

Paloma: Oh, yes, sir. Of course. I hope your detective exam doesn't cover romance or you'll be walking a beat till you're 80.

Luis: Look, I didn't mean to hurt Fancy, ok?

Paloma: Well, you did.

Luis: Don't you have somewhere else you need to be right now?

Paloma: Me? No, but you do. You have to get out of here, find Fancy, and tell her how much you like her, and that you want to date her.  It's the only way you'll ever be happy.

Theresa: When did you appoint yourself my personal voice of doom? Whitney, it's like I tell you the least little thing, you're there to tell me the sky's falling.

Whitney: Least little thing? Ethan committing adultery with you in this very building.  I'm so sorry I overreacted that way.

Theresa: But, Whitney, nobody knows about it, ok? Jared doesn't know, so there's no reason to let things get out of control.

Whitney: Just because Jared doesn't know doesn't make it right. You know what? This is going to end badly, and -- and the sad thing about the whole thing is that you know it is.

Theresa: Why don't you help me here?  Help me, Whitney. I don't know what to do, all right? Ethan wants to be with me. He wants to spend his life with me. All right? You should have seen him last night. No lies. No excuses. Him just wanting me and then him actually acting on thay impulse?

Whitney: Spare me the details here, ok?

Whitney: Please, Theresa, I'm begging you to stop and think. Ok? Stop this selfish game you're playing. You can't keep both of them on leashes. Do the right thing for a change. Let Ethan go back to his wife, and start a new life with Jared before tragedy strikes your life again.

Chad: Oh, God.

Chad: I should call 911.

Ethan: Oh...

Or maybe I should just call the loony bin instead? All right, come on, guys. You all right? You all right? You need a doctor?

Ethan: No, I don't need a doctor, Chad.

Chad: Jared, Jared, man. Wake up, man. Wake up, wake up.

Jared: Hit me again and I swear--

Chad: Uh-huh. Now see, that's what you both get, you idiots, for fighting like this.

Ethan: Oh, this fight is not over.

Chad: Whoa.

Jared: Let go of me.

Chad: The hell I will. You idiots are hurt and you're still trying to kill each other. Now, I'm not letting go until you both promise to stop this craziness. You got it? Well, I can't hear you.

Ethan: Yeah, Chad. I got it.

Jared: Got it.

Chad: All right. That's better. Man, I just got this suit cleaned. Look at it. If I got blood on this suit, I'm gonna kill both of you myself.

Theresa: Can't you try to be just a little optimistic? I mean, maybe after all these years, Ethan has finally seen the light.

Whitney: That's funny that you say that because I was actually thinking the same exact thing about you. You know, I have been both witness and accomplice to your destructive scheming ever since high school, but I thought maybe -- just maybe -- you had finally given up on your obsession.

Theresa: But fate, Whitney.

Whitney: No, is it really Ethan that you want, or is he just an excuse to make the pot boil over? I swear half the time your real obsession is making drama.

Theresa: Oh, that's not fair.

Whitney: Well, no. Think about it. Think about it from my point of view. You have a job with huge responsibilities. You have children. And yet all you think about is the excitement of luring Ethan away from his wife.  Now, I thought you had wised up and you were ready for a semi-normal life with Jared. He's wonderful, Theresa.

Theresa: I know, Whitney.

Whitney: He's smart, he's funny. He would be so great with your kids, but -- he would be great with your kids, but you wouldn't ever let him in. What do you do? You turn your back on a semi-normal life so that you can start trouble again with Ethan? That is what I call tempting fate. But you know what? You go ahead. You keep on stirring the pot. You wait. Tragedy is going to hit your life and the lives of everyone around you.

Fox: I get lost in your kisses.

Kay: You had so many of them earlier. Sure you're not getting sick of them?

Fox: Are you serious?

Kay: No, no. Sweetie! You don't want to be late for work, do you?

Fox: Oh, all right. You're right. I gotta go.

Kay: Ok.

Fox: Kay, love, I am so sorry that I don't have more time to spend with you. It's just that I'm so busy at work right now.

Fox: Uh, love, I don't see any -- any dress socks in here.

Kay: They're by the washing machine. So is the dry-cleaning, sorry. Should have brought it up.

Fox: Are you serious, with everything you do? That's ok. I'll go get dressed down there. Oh, my shoes, do you know where they are?

Kay: Yep. Right here. Here you go. Here you go.

Fox: You are incredible.

Kay: Mm.

Fox: Ok, love you lots. Take care.

Kay: Love you. Oh! Ha ha ha. Whoo!

Fox: I thought you wanted me to go to work.

Kay: I think I'm gonna take a nap.

Fox: What a shame to think of you lying here in bed all alone. All right, I'll see you later.

[Snoring]

Fox: What was that?

Paloma: Why are you still here? You should go out, find Fancy, and apologize.

Luis: Paloma, don't meddle.

Paloma: Luis, you are incredible. My perfect big brother -- perfectly self-centered and selfish.

Luis: How can you even say that?

Paloma: You know what? You are clueless …and what's the word in English? Yeah, such a lummox. A big dumb ox.

Luis: Back off. Ow! Look what you made me do.

Paloma: Is it bleeding?

Luis: No.

Paloma: Too bad.

Luis: Paloma, please stop, ok? You have no idea.

Paloma: No idea? Luis, I know you're breaking Fancy's heart and I know you're hurting Sheridan.

Luis: Hurting her? I love her.

Paloma: Well, you have a nice way of showing it. Luis, she's married. If you really care about her, you've got to let her go so she can move on.

Luis: No.

Paloma: Luis, someone has to get through to you and it might as well be me.  After all that tragedy you can't face what happened? She had to choose between you and Chris and she chose him and his little boy and not you. Accept that. Luis, I know I've never been in love the way you have, but I can see how much you're hurting the people you care about.  So, if you really love Sheridan, you will let her go. Let her be happy and then maybe you can learn how to make yourself happy... with Fancy.

Fancy: Listen to me go on. Why am I talking to you about this anyway? You're Aunt Sheridan's best friend. This is too weird.

Gwen: Hey, I'm Sheridan's friend, but I also like to think I'm your friend, too. Fancy, I just want you both happy.

Fancy: Not much chance of that.

Gwen: Don't say that. Look, I know a little something about loving someone with all of your heart and not having it returned.

Fancy: Wait, Ethan loves you.

Gwen: I didn't say he didn't. But I've certainly had more than my fair share of trouble with Ethan and Theresa. But look it's over now, right? Theresa's moved on with Jared and Ethan's finally all mine.

Fancy: And Aunt Sheridan? Has she really moved on to Chris, or is she still hiding feelings for Luis?

Gwen: Listen, I think it's probably a little bit of both. I think Sheridan is close to finding happiness with Chris and I know that she loves the family she's built with him and James and I think that if you just give it a little time --

Fancy: I don't have time. I can't spend my life hoping Luis will get over Sheridan someday. I don't have a chance. Everyone in this town talks about them like they're Romeo and Juliet. People even whisper about them -- those strange stories about the two of them leading past lives.

Gwen: I know, that they share this great love in this life and other lives before. I know. I used to think it was funny and part of me actually still does, but, hey, crazy things happen in this town, right? And they found proof, uh.

Fancy: The graves in Bermuda --

Gwen: Of Sheridan and the man she married when Luis went down on the titanic.

Fancy: It's too creepy.

Gwen: Yeah.

Fancy: So, say all that's true? I should give up any thought of Luis. If the stars themselves say those two are meant for one another, I'm spinning my wheels.

Gwen: You need to stop being such a wuss 'cause I wouldn't say that Sheridan and Luis are definitely destined to be together. I think if you play your cards right, he can be yours.

Chad: Well, great, great. So, we're all friends again.

Jared: Well, I didn't say that.

Ethan: Nor did I.

Jared: Well, why don't we finish what we started then?

Chad: That's enough.

Ethan: That's fine with me.

Chad: That's enough. Look, you did what you came to do, right? You dropped off more documents on the Stuart Allen case.

Jared: Yeah.

Chad: Well then get upstairs and get back to work.

Jared: What?

Chad: You heard me. Look, Theresa gave you most of the job she offered Ethan, but she didn't make you co-CEO, which means as a family member, I outrank you. And look, this Crane really hates to see Crane employees waste company time.

Jared: Oh. Didn't think you'd pull some crap like this.

Chad: Yeah? Why not? Look, this skin may be darker than the picture of old Alistair in the boardroom, but it's still Crane skin. I tell you what. This family could use a little new blood anyway. Now, get upstairs and get back to work. It's for your own good.

Jared: Yes, sir.

Ethan: Lucky you, huh? You get an excuse to get out of here before I finish you off.

Jared: Why don't we do this right now?

Chad: Enough.

Ethan: Fine.

Chad: Out. And wipe the blood off your face before someone sees you. The last thing we need around here is another lawsuit. Go.

Ethan: Do you believe the nerve of that guy?

Chad: What I can't believe is you, Ethan. What the hell's the matter with you?

Fancy: How can you say Sheridan and Luis aren't destined to be together? If you believe all those stories, they've been together over and over again throughout history.

Gwen: You are missing my whole point. They have been destined to almost be together. They've never actually achieved happiness together. Something always kept them apart.

Fancy: You're right. They have never lived happily ever after.

Gwen: Exactly. And it's heartbreaking, but it just seems like someone up there doesn't really want them to be together. Whenever they come together, they're always torn apart.

Fancy: And that must be what's happening right now.

Gwen: Fancy, it's already happened. Sheridan moved on with Chris. So, this may not be as hopeless as you think.

Luis: Paloma, I know you mean well, but the thing is, you don't have any idea. Sheridan came to me. We talked. And she's having second thoughts. She still loves me.

Paloma: Oh, wonderful. So Sheridan and Chris are headed for divorce court?

Luis: No. No, she told me that there's no way she can leave Chris.

Paloma: So, how can you say there's still a chance? Luis, leave her alone. You have to. Look at yourself. You're miserable. She's miserable. Fancy's miserable. And I don't know Chris that well, but I'll bet he's miserable, too. You have to let her go, Luis. It's not fair for anyone, especially Sheridan. It's like that TV show, "Medium," when a dead person has to let go of this world and move on. Stop hunting Sheridan. You have to let her go so you can live.

Luis: I've tried that. Don't you think I've tried? I can't.

Fox: Kay, what was that noise?

Kay: What noise?

Fox: What noise? The -- That noise.

Kay: Oh, that was me. Yeah. I think I'm coming down with something. Yeah.

Fox: Oh, honey.

Kay: Yeah.

Fox: My gosh.

Kay: Definitely getting sick.

Fox: Baby, you sit down. You sit down. Now, this is because you try and do too much. All right, now lay down here where you can't get into trouble and I'll get you some cold medicine, ok?

Kay: Very sweet. Thank you.

Fox: You're my girl. Relax, all right?

Kay: Miguel. Miguel, wake up. Wake up. You have to get up.

Miguel: Hmm?

Kay: We have got to get you out of here now.

Gwen: If there's anything I have learned over the years, it's to have patience. I mean, Theresa literally put me through hell. I thought I was going to lose my mind forever.

Fancy: So did we.

Gwen: Yeah, I know.

Fancy: I'm sorry.

Gwen: It's ok. It's ok. I know, I did lose my mind. I think anyone would after what that bitch did to me, you know? You know, she went on and on and on about fate wanting her and Ethan to be together. Now look what happened.  She's the one that's actually given up.  Theresa has moved on with Jared. So, you just need to be strong. Look, I almost lost faith in my husband, but now I get to see that he is really mine forever.

Fancy: I'm glad.

Gwen: So, just hold on, ok? Hold on until Luis is ready to let Sheridan go. Someday, you will be with him.

Fancy: Oh, I hope you're right. God, Gwen, I love him so much. You should have seen him earlier in the bunkroom. He was laying there in his boxers. He looked so sexy. Uh, he's gorgeous. His stomach is ripped and he's got these muscles in his arms and this cute little butt.

Gwen: You really have it bad, don't you?

Fancy: Yeah, tell me about it. But what if I'm wasting my time?

Gwen: Well, there's only one way to find out, right? Just forget about this Theresa fate -- this Sheridan and Luis past lives, great love nonsense, ok? If you want him, go in there and get him. He is a strong, honest, good man who, by the way, doesn't care about the Crane money. Now, tell me, where else are you going to find someone like that? Exactly, so you should fight for him. And with any luck, you'll have that gorgeous man in your bed for the rest of your  life?

Fancy: You really think so?

Gwen: Yes. I think you should go for it. Now, I need to go.

Fancy: Thank you so much, Gwen.

Gwen: Good luck, sweetheart.

Fancy: Bye.

Gwen: Bye.

Fancy: Is she right, Luis? Can it really work out for us?

Luis: I can't let Sheridan go. I've tried. She's the woman I love. End of story.

Paloma: Then keep trying. If you don't, your love will destroy you, Sheridan, and Fancy.

Theresa: I just don't think that things are as black and white as you think they are, Whitney. Ok? I am absolutely confused here. I am so frustrated. I -- I try to move on with Jared and there Ethan is coming after me because he loves me, Whitney.

Whitney: Enough to come clean with his wife, Theresa.

Theresa: Well he wanted to last night.  I'm the one who wouldn't let him.

Whitney: Ok, why not?

Theresa: I don't know. I don't know, Whitney. You know, maybe he should have told Gwen last night. Maybe he should have said to Gwen that we had sex in Chris's office. I mean, you know , that's what I wanted I mean, but then he, you know, drives me crazy.  He talked about his marriage vows and he says how important they are.  Well if they're so damn important, Ethan, why did you have sex with me in the first place.

Whitney: Ok, answer me this, did you tempt him into breaking his vows?

Theresa: Come on.

Whitney: Exactly. At least he was trying to keep them.

Theresa: He should've made those vows with me, Whitney.

Whitney: Honey, it's a little late for that. If Ethan loved you as much as you said he does, he'd have told Gwen no matter what you said, but he didn't and he never will. Honey, this has been going on for years. Do you honestly believe that Ethan and you are going to be a couple?

Ethan: Chad, question for you. Why are you angry at me, anyway? He's the guy that came storming in here accusing me of being a scheister.

Chad: Jared was just doing his job, Ethan. You're the one who overreacted.

Ethan: Oh the hell I did. He's an ass.

Chad: Ethan, get over yourself. Please. What's going on? Look, I'm your friend. I've been your friend for years. I've never seen you fly off the handle like this.

Ethan: Because I've never had to deal with a jerk like this before in my life.  He comes running into my office pretending like he owns the place, going off about "Theresa's with me now, Ethan, so you need to back off."

Chad: I see what this is all about now. You can't stand Jared being with Theresa, the woman who isn't your wife.

Ethan: Chad, you don't know what's going on.

Chad: No, I know plenty, Ethan.  Get off your white horse.  Theresa doesn't need saving. Jared, no matter what you think, is a great guy for Theresa. You know what, they actually might work if you just butt out.

Ethan: Oh, you've got to be kidding. You, too? I don't believe this, Chad.  This is unbelievable. Jared and Theresa. The perfect couple? What a joke. I tell you what. That guy would not be so cocky running around saying, "I'm going to be the next Mr. Theresa Crane," if he knew that I was still sleeping with her.

Chad: What?

Ethan: I probably shouldn't have said that.

Chad: Yeah, well it's too late now.

Ethan: Well, it's true. Quite a few times recently, actual.

Chad: I tell you what, Ethan, you better watch out or you're going to lose that Boy Scout image of yours.

Ethan: Don't get me wrong. This is ripping me up inside. I can't believe I'm cheating on Gwen.  It's driving me nuts, Chad.

Chad: But you're still cheating on her.

Ethan: Yeah. But I can't get Theresa out of my mind, see. And it's gotten worse since we've gotten back from Rome.  I know you think I'm a pig.  Fine.  Cause I know you'd never cheat on Whitney.

Chad: {You know, Whitney can never find out about this. She wouldn't understand.} Look, Ethan, you need to get your life together any way you can. Ok, you got to make up your mind. Do you want to stay married to Gwen or do you want to be with Theresa?

Luis: People, come on. Let's go, let's go. We're wasting time here. Grab a mat, please.

Paloma: Are you all right? You were so upset before.

Fancy: I'll survive.  Gwen talked to me and I'll be more optimistic about my chances to be with Luis.

Paloma: Bueno! I told my idiot brother he has to let Sheridan go.

Fancy: Thanks, but he's got to decide to do that on his own.

Luis: Just wanted to say I'm really sorry about what happened earlier.

Fancy: Um, we're here to work, aren't we, sir?

Luis: Yeah.

Fancy: Well, let's get to it.

Luis: All right.

Paloma: Hmm. I'm impressed.

Fancy: Well, he's not going to want some weepy little girl, is he? So, I'll show him I'm a serious woman who's his equal in every way. Let the games begin.

Luis: All right, people. Let's go. Let's listen up. I need you to pay attention. Now today, you're going to be practicing the ancient art of judo. Its important to pay attention or somebody is going to get hurt, ok? Now, I need a volunteer.

Fancy: Here's your volunteer, sir.

Gwen: Jared, hey. What are you -- what are you doing down here?

Jared: Well, I came to deliver some papers that your husband needs.

Gwen: Are you ok?

Jared: Oh, yeah, I'm fine.  Look, uh, I don't have a problem with you, Gwen.

Gwen: Jared, look. We should both be happy now, right? You and Theresa are together. I mean, I think Ethan's finally let her go.

Jared: Well I wish your good mood would have rubbed off on him.

Gwen: Come on, what are you talking about?

Jared: Never mind. I'll, um, I'll see you around.

Gwen: All right, I need to go talk to Ethan. Great, accounting needs me. I'll just talk to him later.

Theresa: You're right. You're right, Whitney. This is history just repeating itself. I cannot spend the rest of my life worrying about fate. I need to take control. I need to make a decision.

Whitney: Good for you.

Theresa: Yeah.

Whitney: Yes.

Theresa: I need to live in the moment, right? I need to take charge. I need to start putting my past behind me. I need to start a life with Jared.

Whitney: Ok, but can you really do it, put it into action.

Theresa: Yes, I can. I have to. You know, and -- and maybe I'll never lose my feelings for Ethan, but I've got to move on. Why? Because Jared is a wonderful man, and he needs a woman who is committed to him. I just hope I have the strength, you know, to put Ethan behind me because he's always there pursuing me, Whitney

Whitney: You stay strong. And don't let things get out of control. Don't let the situation escalate.

Jared: What situation?

Theresa: It's my son, Jared. You know, there's a little situation with him and another boy in daycare.

Jared: What, some little bully? I can certainly take care of this problem for the heir of the company. Now where is he?  I'll slap the little brat around.

Theresa: Oh God. It's just terrible.

Jared: Well, I'm here for you, Tess.

Whitney: Uh, do you know where Chad is?

Jared: Yeah, he's downstairs talking to Ethan.

Whitney: Oh, thank you -- thanks. Can I talk to her for two seconds?

Whitney: Please, just don't blow this, ok? Jared's a good guy. He's perfect for you. Don't do anything stupid.

Jared: Hey, what was all that about? Everything ok with you and Whitney?

Theresa: Oh, Jared, everything's always ok with me and Whitney. I gotta get back to work, you know?

Jared: Is this great or what? We get to work together and spend our private life together. I can't think of anything better to do. How about it?

Chad: So what are you going to do? Ethan, you've got to make up your mind about Gwen and Theresa.

Ethan: I know, I know. This is crazy. I mean, how did this happen? Choosing between them is not even something I should be considering, Chad. I've been losing control. I've been making love to Theresa. I am -- I am going insane.

Chad: Look, man, you wouldn't be so upset if you weren't such a -- such a good guy.

Ethan: Thanks, but I feel like an idiot because I love my wife. I love our child together. What am I doing to myself? What am I doing to them?

Chad: Look, man, stop beating yourself up. All right, a lot of guys have been in your situation. Even me.

Ethan: You?

Chad: Yeah, Ethan. I know what it's like to love a woman, yet still have the urge to have someone on the side.

Whitney: Chad? You're having an affair?

Kay: Fox cannot find you in here.

Miguel: I'm going to sleep.

Kay: No, no.

Miguel: Sleep.

Kay: No, no more sleep. Stay.

Fox: I've got your cold medicine, honey.

Kay: Oh, God. Come on. Go back. Ok.

Fox: All right, love. It says that it won't make you drowsy, but I think you should stay in bed anyway.

Kay: Oh, thank you. I'll take it later.

Fox: Ok. Let me see. It doesn't feel like you have a fever. But you do look a little flushed. God, you are more beautiful than ever.

Kay: Honey, you don't want to -- want to get this cold.

Fox: Are you serious? After what we did this morning? It's a little too late for that. Besides, maybe I'll get pneumonia and we can stay in bed together for a couple weeks.

Kay: Fox, really. Phew.

[Snorts]

Fox: How can I concentrate at work when thoughts of you are racing through my head all day?

Luis: All right?

Fancy: Mm-hmm.

Luis: Give it a try. Don't hurt yourself.

Fancy: Not to worry.

Luis: Real good. Ok, now if we combine those moves with a hold, it'd be a great way to take down an angry or an out-of-control suspect, even if the suspect is bigger than you are, which will obviously be the situation when it comes to Fancy. Ok. Now, come at me like you want to kill me.

Fancy: You got it.

[Screams]

Luis: Try and get up. See? I hope you guys were paying attention because we'll be practicing that combination. All right. Now, try and get up really hard this time. Go on. Just messing with you. I knew you couldn't. You see, the suspect is totally under my control.

Fancy: Hi. Hey, Aunt Sheridan.

Fancy: I'm a good student, aren't I?

Luis: Fancy.

Fancy: Come on, sir. Try to get up. Just try.

Chad: Baby, come on now, don't be ridiculous. I'm not having an affair, ok? We were just talking about two guys who get caught between two women.

Whitney: Yeah, but that's not what it sounded like, Chad.

Chad: Look, I've got more friends than just Ethan who have problems with women. I just know how they feel.

Whitney: Friends? What -- what, you mean back in LA?

Chad: Right.

Whitney: Oh. Well, good. I mean, they can stay there as far as I'm concerned. I guess it just caught me off guard. I'm sorry. I know you'd never have an affair. I'm sorry, honey.

Chad: Of course not.

Whitney: You, on the other hand.

Ethan: Theresa told you, huh?

Whitney: Yeah, she did, Ethan. How could you do this? I mean, Lord knows Theresa is just capable of anything, but you -- I thought you'd have better sense.

Ethan: I don't know what to say, Whitney. I know it's not like me, but --

Whitney: Ok, you're right. I mean -- I -- I -- I'm too judgmental. I have no right to go off on you, but I care about you and I care about Theresa, and hasn't there been enough hurt already?

Ethan: Yes. I know.

Whitney: I feel for you -- for both of you -- but unless you're willing to throw away your marriage, it has to stop.

Gwen: Uh, what has to stop?

Fox: You want to give me a little room here?

Kay: Um... all right?

Fox: Fox Crane here. Ah, shoot. All right, listen, Valerie. Tell them that I'm on my way. All right. Kay, I am so sorry, but something's come up at work. There's been a little problem in Jakarta. I gotta run to an emergency phone call at the office, ok?

Kay: Well, that's too bad. Well, you have a good day, ok, honey?

Fox: All right. I will be back as soon as I can. All right?

Kay: Yes.

Fox: I hope you feel better.

Kay: Thank you.

Miguel: Let's go to Jakarta.

Kay: No, no, no, no. We've got to go to your room. Let's go. Come on.

Miguel: Kiss me, Jakarta.

Kay: No, no!

Miguel: Moi, moi, moi.

Fox: I need a belt.

Luis: Ok, that's a good job, Fancy. Now, let me up.

Fancy: Say uncle.

Luis: Yeah, don't be ridiculous. Let me up.

Fancy: I said, say uncle.

Luis: Fancy, you did a good job, ok? It was even great, ok, but let me up.

Fancy: I don't know. Should I let him up?

All: No.

Fancy: Oh, you heard them. Not until you say uncle.

Luis: All right. This is police training class, ok? It's not time for monkeying around.

Paloma: Hermanito, I think Fancy's got you where she wants you. Are you going to say uncle or not?

Fancy: Come on, Luis. It's just one little word -- uncle.

Gwen: Uh, what are you guys talking about? What needs to stop?

Whitney: Um, all the, uh, tension between everyone. I mean, I think they all need to learn how to work together. You know, separating the personal life from the business life.

Gwen: Well, I will certainly buy that. I just ran into Jared in the hallway. Honey, are you ok?

Ethan: Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine. I mean, what -- what -- what -- what does Jared expect? For us to be good buddies? We're on opposite sides of a legal battle against Crane.

Gwen: Ethan, the battle's going to be over. You know? There's no point in making enemies.

Chad: I should go. We're going to talk later, right?

Ethan: Yeah, right.

Gwen: You know, we all need to -- to count our blessings. I mean, at least the four of us have rock-solid relationships. That's really a rarity in this town? And we -- we need to, uh, go over your billing papers here. This one has billed so many hours working on the Stuart Allen case, I think he's got quite a bonus coming to him.

Whitney: Good for you, Ethan. Well see you guys later.

Gwen: You know, I love you very much, Ethan Winthrop, and now that Theresa's out of our lives for good, I just know that everything is going to be perfect for us.

Whitney: Poor Gwen. I mean, she has no idea that her husband has been cheating on her. You know, I -- I'm just glad that I don't have to worry about anything like that -- you cheating on me.

Jared: Have you seen this?

Theresa: Seen what?

Jared: This. The press is having a field day with the Stuart Allen case. They're ignoring all the legal facts and they're playing it off as a competition between Ethan and myself -- over you.

Theresa: That's just what I needed.

Jared: Must be rough.

Theresa: Can be.

Jared: I got to go meet with Alice Mccallly. She wants to go over the takeover bid for the pet food company. So, uh --

Theresa: I'll see you later.

Jared: Yeah, yeah.

Theresa: Whitney's right. I need to forget about Ethan and move on with Jared.

Ethan: I know you love me, too. Choose me.

Jared: Oh, Theresa, don't listen to him.

Ethan: Theresa, you want me.

Jared: I love you, choose me.

Ethan: I want you. Be with me.

Jared: He doesn't care about you like I do.

Ethan: And be with the man that you want -- me.

Jared: He'll never love you the same way that I could love you.

Ethan: I love you.

On the Next Passions:

Kay: I have a wedding to plan.  A wedding to a man who loves and respects me completely.

Eve: Do you have any idea what you've done?

Theresa: What could go wrong now?
