Ivy: Sam! Don't you think we should've called first and asked permission?

Sam: Kay's at work and Tabitha's out of town.  Besides, we're next door neighbors.

Ivy: Why do you want Tabitha's stew?  It's too hot for stew.

Sam: Ivy, remember the last time I ate this stew?

{Ivy: Woo! Oh! Oh! Sam, what's gotten into you?

Sam: Stop asking questions, woman.

Ivy: Oh, oh, oh, Sam! Oh, my God.

Sam: I want-- I need to make love to you right now. [Growls]

Ivy: Oh. Oh, Sam, oh.} Of course I remember. You were amazing. But what makes you think it was Tabitha's stew that inspired you?

Sam: Ivy, I didn't get to be chief of police for nothing. After reviewing the facts, I came to the conclusion it had to be whatever Tabitha put in that stew.

Ivy: What are we waiting for?

Miguel: Oh, God. Tabitha needs air conditioning. It's stifling in there.

Siren: It's about to get hotter once I show Fox this picture.

Miguel: I told you. Go on upstairs. Go show him the picture.

Siren: Oh, why? Why do you want to show Fox a picture of you kissing Kay? He'll go crazy.

Miguel: Exactly. That's exactly what I want, Siren.

Siren: You want Fox to go crazy? You want him to see a picture of Kay kissing another man?

Miguel: Siren, it's simple. As soon as Fox sees that picture, he'll break off their engagement and Kay will be free to be with me. It's perfect. So go on. Go on upstairs and show him the picture.

Kay: That was amazing. You are amazing.

Fox: I love you so much, Kay. You're the only woman I ever want in my life.

Kay: Oh, honey, I feel the same way.

Fox: Do you?

Kay: Of course I do. I love you.

Fox: That's good, because I honestly don't know what I would do if I ever lost you.

Kay: Well, you're not going to lose me. So don't even think about it.

Fox: Really?

Kay: Yeah. We're getting married in a couple of weeks. I plan to spend the rest of my life with you.

{Kay: Miguel, yes, yes.

Miguel: I love you. I need you. }

Kay: Honey, is something wrong?

Fox: Actually there is, Kay. There's something we need to talk about.

Fancy: You were with my Aunt Sheridan tonight, weren't you?

Luis: How did you know?

Fancy: I told you. I can smell her perfume all over you. It's new. I recognize it from when I saw her earlier. You were with her.

Luis: Yeah, I was.

Fancy: You said you weren't going to try to break up her marriage. Was that a lie?

Theresa: Tell me that you want me.

Ethan: Oh, God help me, I want you more than I've ever wanted anyone.

Jared: Well, I gather you didn't run into Ethan.

Gwen: He hasn't been back downstairs.

Jared: Maybe you're right. Maybe they've been in Chris' office all along.

Gwen: Damn it.

Jared: Well, they're probably just working on stuff. God knows there's enough accounting issues in this lawsuit. They're probably just going over financial records.

Gwen: This is the only office we haven't been into.

Jared: Well, I got the right key code now. So I guess we'll find out.

Jared: Well, that should do it. It should be unlocked.

Miguel: Well, go on. Go on upstairs and show Fox the picture of your cell phone.

Siren: If that's what you want. Ah, but what if Fox beats you up? He's pretty strong, you know.

Miguel: I'll take my chances.

Siren: If you're sure.

Miguel: I'm positive. It's exactly what I want, Siren. I mean, Kay needs to be free to be with me, and this way I'm not the one breaking them up. You are.

Siren: All right, I'll do it. I might as well if you won't make love to me. But get ready for a big explosion.

Miguel: Bring it on.

Miguel: Oh, she's right. Fox is going to explode and he's going to want to kill me. Ha ha ha. Wait a minute. He won't just be mad at me. He'll be furious at Kay. Siren, stop. Don't go up there. Kay can get hurt.

Kay: What do you want to talk about?

Fox: I -- I know that we talked about this already, but I don't want to wait any longer to marry you. I want to get married tonight. Why don't we just elope tonight, please?

Kay: Tonight? No, we've -- we've already moved up the date. And I told you I don't want to disappoint my -- my dad and your mom. I mean, come on, what's the rush?

Fox: I just don't think I can wait any longer. I want to marry you so badly. A couple more weeks, it's -- I can't do it.

Kay: Honey, it's really sweet that you want to marry me right now, but we've already made all the plans and -- and our parents.

Fox: Your father and my mother, they have their own wedding to plan. So I'm sure they would be glad and happy to get ours out of the way. Then they just can just focus on theirs.

Kay: I don't know about that. I know my dad is really excited about walking me down the aisle, you know... and the white dress, the whole thing. I -- it's everything I've ever dreamed of.

Fox: Baby, why don't we elope tonight and then we can still have the big ceremony afterwards?

Kay: What? No, no. That would spoil it. We can't say our vows again in front of our family and friends. It just -- it wouldn't be the same. You can wait just a little bit longer, can't you?

Fox: I don't know. You're not having second thoughts about marrying me, are you?

{Miguel: You heard me. I love you, Kay. I've said it before, but you never seem to listen. Look, I've wasted so many years and I just want to make things right. Kay, I want us to be a family... with Maria. }

Kay: No, I'm not having second thoughts. I just -- I just want everything to be perfect, ok? And I don't want to run away like we're doing something wrong. You understand that, don't you?

Fox: I understand.

Fox: I just hope that you're not having second thoughts about this. Because I don't know what I would do if someone ever tried to take you away from me.

Fancy: Luis, you told me it's over with Sheridan.

Luis: Yeah, it is.

Fancy: If that's true, why is her perfume all over you?

Luis: What? Because she came to talk to me.

Fancy: Well, you must have done more than talk, Luis. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Did you and Sheridan make love?

Luis: No. No, no -- no. It was nothing like that, ok?

Fancy: Well, then what? Did you kiss?

Luis: The bottom line, ok, is that Sheridan is married to Chris. She's staying with him. She is honoring her commitment, ok?

Fancy: Then why were you kissing her? I mean, you did kiss her, didn't you?

Luis: Yeah, we kissed. That was before she told me that she was staying with Chris, though.

Fancy: You are not over her, are you? And you're still in love with her and you're nowhere near ready to move on. That's the truth, isn't it?

Luis: What can I say? I'm trying.

Fancy: Not very hard, it seems. You are just as much in love with Sheridan as you ever were. You haven't given up hoping to get her back.

Luis: It's complicated.

Fancy: No, it's really very simple. You either love her or you don't. And it's pretty obvious you do. So I have one more question. Since you're still in love with Sheridan, what have you been doing with me?

Jared: Well, that's strange.

Gwen: What's wrong?

Jared: The override code didn't work.

Gwen: Why not?

Jared: Well, they change the codes nightly for security purposes. I'm guess the new one's already been activated.

Gwen: All right, well, I mean, what do we do now?

Jared: I've just got to go back to my office, check my e-mail for the new code, and get it. It'll just take a second.

Gwen: Hurry up, ok?

Jared: Oh, I will.

Gwen: Ok.

Gwen: Someone is in there. It better not be Theresa with my husband.

Theresa: [Moaning] Oh, God.

Siren: Miguel, what's wrong with you?

Miguel: I told you, I changed my mind, ok? I don't want Fox to go crazy and hurt Kay. Besides, I want her to come back to me because she wants to, not because Fox throws her out.

Siren: So you don't want me to show Fox the picture of you and Kay kissing?

Miguel: No, I don't.

Siren: So we're right back to where we started. Now you have to make love to me.

Siren: Yes, you do. The deal is, I show Fox the picture or you make love to me.

Miguel: Siren, come on, you can't be serious.

Siren: Yes, I am. I'm out of tricks.

Miguel: Tricks? What tricks, Siren?

Siren: Never mind. Make love to me, Miguel.

Miguel: Siren, you are a very beautiful and sexy girl. But I can't make love to you.

Siren: Why not?

Miguel: Because I love Kay.

Siren: Love? What's love got to do with it? I'm talking about sex. Come on, Miguel. Have sex with me.

Sam: Any luck? Ivy: No, there is no sign of that stew. Tabitha must have cleaned out all the leftovers before she went out of town.

Sam: It must be in a box mix or something.

Ivy: Ok, well, I guess we're just going to have to make do on our own until Tabitha gets back.

Kay: Dad!

Ivy: Oh!

Sam: Hey, honey.

Kay: We didn't know anyone was here.

Ivy: Oh.

Sam: Sorry for interrupting, honey. I keep forgetting you're a grown woman, about to be married.

Fox: Mother, what's going on? What are you guys doing here?

Ivy: Oh, well, Sam just had a craving for some of Tabitha's fish stew. You don't know if she has any, do you?

Fox: No, I -- I don't think so.

Sam: That was the best fish stew I've ever had.

Ivy: It was incredible.

Kay: You had some, too, Ivy?

Ivy: Not directly. I just sort of benefited from the effect.

Kay: Oh, that's so weird. I have no idea what you guys are talking about, and I don't think I want to know. Ok, we just came down to get a snack.

Fox: Actually, Mother, Chief, I'm happy you guys are here. Kay and I have some news that we'd like to share with you.

Ivy: What news?

Fox: Well, we decided to move up the date.

Kay: Yeah, we're getting married in a month.

Ivy: So soon?

Fox: Not soon enough. I tried to talk Kay into eloping, but she didn't want to disappoint her family and friends.

Sam: That is great, sweetheart. Oh, you know I've been looking forward to walking you down the aisle.

Kay: I know.

Ivy: Besides, the wedding is more than just getting married. It -- it's a memorable event in a woman's life. It should be as elaborate as possible. You don't want to spoil your plans, now do you, Kay?

Kay: Hmm, I knew you would agree with me, Ivy.

Ivy's voice: Yes, anything that gives me more time to get my son to break it off with you, Kay.

Kay: Oh, here we go. Perfect snack.

Fox: Ah, very nice. I'll -- I'll get the glasses.

Kay: Oh, thank you, honey. I can't wait to be your wife.

Fox: Me neither.

Sam: [Clears his throat] I think we should go. By the looks of things, I think they might elope tonight.

Ivy: No, I -- no. I mean, I have a better idea. Why don't we all go out?

Sam: Go out? I -- I thought you wanted to stay home. I really don't need the stew.

Ivy: I know, I know. But it's just -- we don't have a lot of chances to spend time with our children. So why don't we all go out dancing -- to the Blue Note?

Sam: Dancing?

Ivy: Yeah. Yeah, why don't you kids go get dressed and we'll go celebrate? We'll celebrate their wedding.

Siren: Take me, Miguel.

Miguel: Mm, God, Siren, believe me, I'm tempted. But I can't do this, ok? I love Kay.

Siren: I don't care!

Miguel: I can't do this, Siren!

Siren: All right. Then take me dancing.

Miguel: Dancing now?

Siren: Absolutely. I have to work off this frustration somehow. Take me dancing and I will think about not showing Fox this picture.

Fox: Isn't it a little bit late to go out, Mother?

Ivy: Late? Honey, don't be silly. We have hours until they close. Besides, don't you want to spend a little bit of time with your mother? Come on, you live right next door to me. I never, ever get to see you. And, Sam, I'm sure you'd like to spend a little more time with Kay, wouldn't you, honey?

Sam: Of course.

Ivy: Good, so it's settled. You kids go get dressed and we'll wait here for you.

Fox: Kay, what do you say then? You up for going out?

Kay: Yeah, well, you know, I have to find a sitter for the girls.

Ivy: I'll help you!  Sure, I know all the best sitters and nannies in town. Sure, no problem. So, you guys go change and, Sam, you probably should go put on a new shirt.

Sam: Yeah, ok.

Ivy: Great.

Fox: Ok.

Kay: You still don't want Fox to marry me, do you?

Ivy: Whatever makes you think that?

Kay: Oh, come off it, Ivy. We know each other too well. We both have secrets that could destroy us.

Ivy: I want my son to be happy, Kay. You will not make him happy.

Kay: Yes, I will. And let me tell you this. If you do anything to try to mess things up for us, hmm, I'll be forced to tell my dad that you hired David to pretend to be my mom's first husband so you could break up my parents' marriage and have my dad to yourself.

Ivy: Sam loves me. I make him happy.

Kay: Hmm, good, good. Then you just keep your little mouth shut about me to Fox, ok? And then you can continue making him happy. Now I'm going to go get dressed.

Ivy: Miguel is the key to getting you to break up with Fox, and I'm going to make sure he does.

Fancy: Can you tell me what you were thinking, Luis? When you were kissing me, were you thinking about Sheridan?

Luis: No.

Fancy: Well, then what? You were just playing me, making me think you might be interested in me?

Luis: I wasn't playing you, ok? I really like you.

Fancy: But I'm not my Aunt Sheridan.

Luis: Fancy, look, I'm sorry, ok? I never meant to hurt you. I think that you're a great girl.

Fancy: I am not a girl, Luis. I'm a woman. And I don't want to settle for anything less than a man who is interested in me for me. I don't want to be a pale substitute for some other woman.

Luis: Well, I don't think you should be. In fact, you know, I'll bet that there are a million guys out there who'd be crazy about you.

Fancy: Yeah, I know. They're always out there, but you are the man I chose to be with, the man I wanted to date.

Luis: Well, you know we can't do that. You're a cadet, I'm a police officer, and the rules are very clear.

Fancy: Right. Well, I guess it's a good thing that we can't officially date because I'd just get sucked in even deeper, just start caring more and more about you. And I don't want to invest in a man whose heart still belongs to another woman. I can't get my own heart broken again. And that's where this is going, isn't it? If you're still in love with Aunt Sheridan.

Gwen: Ethan, are you in there?

Gwen: Hey, did you get the new code?

Jared: Yeah, I got it. It's a little long and complicated, but it should get us in.

Gwen: Ok, I definitely heard voices in there.

Jared: I don't hear anything.

Jared: Theresa, Ethan, you guys in there?

[Knocking at door]

Theresa: Wait, what was that?

Ethan: Ah, I don't know. It's probably the cleaning crew and I don't care.

Jared: Hello, Theresa?

Gwen: Ethan, are you in there?

Theresa: Oh, my God. That's Jared.

Ethan: That's Gwen.

Theresa: Ok, what do we do?

[Knocking at door]

Siren: I need another Sex on the Beach. And you need another whatever it is you're having.

Miguel: Look, I think we ought to take it a little slower. You want us to get drunk or what?

Siren: Oh, who cares? We can always leave the car and take a taxi home. Besides, we'll work off the alcohol dancing. It says so in "Pretty Woman" magazine.

Miguel: Ok, ok. They look a little shorthanded. So let me go up and get us some drinks. All right?

Siren: Now that my siren song won't work, I need you intoxicated so you won't be able to resist me. You will make love to me tonight.

Miguel: Hey, Noah.

Noah: Another round, Miguel?

Miguel: Oh, nice. Yeah, make hers a little weak.

Noah: Wow, who is that? She's beautiful.

Miguel: She's just a friend.

Noah: Wait, wait, wait, that's that -- that model that you were working with in that photo ad, right?

Miguel: Yeah. Her name's Siren.

Noah: She's gorgeous. So, wait, why are you guys just friends?

Miguel: Oh, it's -- it's complicated.

Noah: Eh, nothing's that complicated unless you're in love with someone else.

Noah: That's it, isn't it? You're in love with someone else.

Fancy: God, what is wrong with me? It's as if I have this moron switch in my head when it comes to men.

Luis: You're just very trusting, that's all. But it's not a bad thing.

Fancy: Yeah, it is. First it was Noah. He made me fall in love with him, and I find out he's still hung up on his old girlfriend.

Luis: Well, he still says you were wrong about that. He was pretending to be with Maya just to protect you.

Fancy: And I still don't believe that story.

Luis: Maybe you weren't as much in love with him as you thought. Otherwise, you would've believed him.

Fancy: I don't know. I don't want to talk about Noah. We're talking about you and me. Only there isn't really a you and me, is there? You're still clinging to a love for a woman who's married to someone else, who has a child she thinks of as her own -- a woman who has told you there is no chance for you to be together -- unless she told you something different tonight.

Luis: No, she didn't.

Fancy: Huh. Maybe it runs in the family.

Luis: What does?

Fancy: This need to hang on to a person who doesn't want you. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be cruel, but look at the way your sister has been hung up on Ethan. I mean, you and Theresa are two of a kind.

Luis: Maybe we are.

Fancy: So, I guess we're saying good-bye, aren't we?

Fancy: I won't go with a married man, Luis. And in your heart you are married to Sheridan. You're not available to me or anyone else.

[Knocking at door]

Jared: Is anybody in there?

Gwen: Ethan, are you -- are you there?

Theresa: Oh, no, ok, this -- this -- this can't be happening. What we need to do is quickly get dressed, ok?

Ethan: Ok.

[Knocking continues]

Jared: I don't think there's anyone in here, Gwen. I don't hear anything.

Gwen: I don't either. But I definitely did before.

Jared: Well, if Theresa and Ethan were in there, why wouldn't they come to the door?

Gwen: Three guesses, Jared.

Jared: No, they wouldn't. Theresa told me she's over Ethan.

Gwen: Yeah, if I had a nickel for every time I heard that. Unlock the door.

Jared: Well, I'm not sure I really want to see what's going on in there. Do you?

Gwen: Absolutely. I want you to unlock that door right now.

Jared: All right.

Theresa: Quickly, please, get dressed. Faster, faster. Please, please.

Ethan: They're right there. They're going to see us together.

Theresa: Look, they don't have to see us together, ok? All we have to do is think of something. We can tell them we were working.

Ethan: I'm sick of lying, Theresa.

Theresa: Wait, what?

Ethan: I'm sick of lying. I'm sick of feeling guilty. I want to open that door. I want them to come in here and see us together. And I think Gwen should know the truth.

Theresa: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait, Ethan, you want to tell Gwen that we just, that we just made love?

Ethan: Yeah, I want to tell her that. I think it's time that she knew. I think Gwen should know the truth, tonight.

Theresa: Ok, the truth. You're going to -- going to tell her that you love me and that you're ready to leave her to be with me.

Noah: So, are you going to tell me who it is?

Miguel: What do mean?

Noah: Who's the woman you're in love with?

Miguel: Oh, I'd rather not say.

Noah: Does she know how you feel about her?

Miguel: Yeah, I told her. But she's not sure how she feels about it.

Noah: Because she's engaged to someone else?

Miguel: You know?

Noah: Of course I know, Miguel. My little sister has been in love with you since you were kids. But now you're in love with her, right?

Miguel: Yeah. I should've never left town, Noah. I should've stayed here to be with Kay and Maria. And now it's too late. I mean, she's going to marry Fox.

Noah: Look, if you love her, you have to fight for her.

Miguel: Don't you like Fox?

Noah: No, I like Fox fine. I mean, look, I'm just not too happy about seeing my little sister engaged to a Crane.

Miguel: Heard you and Fancy broke up.

Noah: Yeah, you know, it's probably for the best. You know, things never would have worked out. If you'll excuse me, I have to get back to work now.

Miguel: Yeah, sure.

Miguel: Thanks.

Woman: Yoo-hoo, you cute thing. Can I get another drink?

Noah: You got it, beautiful.

Sam: I'm going to go see if Noah's here and get us some drinks.

Ivy: Ok.

Fox: That'll be great. Thanks, Sam. You want to dance?

Kay: No, I'm ok just sitting here with you, listening to the music.

Fox: All right.

Kay: You know, I was thinking about the music for our wedding reception. And we haven't really been specific. I think we need to make some choices.

Fox: You pick whatever you like, ok? I just want to make sure that this is the wedding that you've always dreamed of.

Kay: Oh, thank you. I love you.

Ivy's voice: I may throw up.

Miguel: Come on, you said you wanted to dance. Let's dance.

Siren: Ok, but you have to teach me.

Miguel: What do you mean, you don't know how?

Siren: No, but I can learn. First finish your drink.

Miguel: I did.

Siren: No, you finished the last one. Drink up.

Siren's voice: You just keep drinking, honey. Tonight, you're mine.

Theresa: Wait, is that what you meant? You're going to tell Gwen that -- that you want to divorce her so that we can finally be together.

Ethan: No, that's not what I meant, Theresa.  I'm still going to stick to my marriage vows.

Theresa: Ethan, wait -- wait a minute. You just committed adultery.

Ethan: Yeah, I know I just did. I'm so -- I'm not very proud of that right now. But I'm not going to leave my wife. Of course, when she sees us here, she'll probably leave me.

Theresa: Wait a minute. Let me get this straight. You're going to tell Gwen that we just made passionate love to each other and then you're going to beg her to forgive you?

Ethan: Yeah.

Theresa: And of course she's going to forgive you. And then she's gonna blame me. She's going to say that I'm the -- this monster who tried to seduce you.

Ethan: Oh no, wait a minute. I'm not going to let her blame you at all. I'm going to take full responsibility for this

Theresa: Ethan, she's never going to leave you. Do you understand that

Ethan: I'm not so sure about that, Theresa. How many times has she been hurt? She's a heck of a lot more independent than you think. I think this might be the final straw. I think tonight she could very well leave me.

Theresa: No, no, no, she's not going to leave you, ok? Even if she's furious with you, because she's never going to leave you.  She's never going to let me have you.

Ethan: I'll tell you what. Why don't we stop trying to second-guess what Gwen is going to do and open that door and find out, huh?

Theresa: No, we're not going to do that.

Ethan: Theresa, you cannot stop me from doing this.

Theresa: No, no, Ethan, please. Not now. What about me? What about my relationship with Jared? He's not going to forgive me. And you know what? I need to move on with my life.

Ethan: Theresa, if he really cares about you, he'll understand, ok?

Theresa: No, whoa, whoa, whoa. How could he understand if I don't even understand, ok? And yes, I can have a relationship with him. And you know what? I'm not going to let you wreck it, ok? So you -- you hide.

Ethan: I am not hiding. No, there is no place to hide.

Theresa: Oh, my God, you're going to hide, you're going to hide. Just get out of the window or something. And then you can go out there, you can wait until they're gone, ok? Please, please.

Ethan: I'm not going to do that, ok.

Noah: I didn't see you come in, Dad.

Sam: We have a table on the other side.  You know it's a shame I have to come to where you work to see you.  You haven't been home in days.

Noah:  I know.  I've been really busy.

Woman: I'm going back to the hotel.  I'll leave the light on.

Sam: Busy, yeah, I can see that.

Fox: I wish I could convince you to marry me now so we could just elope.

Kay: Oh, come on, the wedding's only a month away.

Fox: A month is too long.

Kay: Trust me, it is going to fly by. We have so many little, like, last-minute details to take care of.

Ivy: Kay is right, darling. This month is going to go by so fast, your head will spin.

[Laughing, talking]

Fox: Now what's going on over there?

Kay: Whoa, sounds like somebody's tearing it up on the dance floor.

Fox: I'm gonna go check it out.

Fox: Perfect. I couldn't have planned this any better.

Fox: Kay, you've got to come see the dance floor.

Kay: Why, who's dancing?

Fox: Oh, come see for yourself.

Kay: Ok.

Fancy: Luis, I don't blame you for still being in love with Sheridan. I know you two had one of the all-time great love stories. You're not over it. And it looks as if you won't be over it for a long time.

Luis: I wish that wasn't the truth.

Fancy: But it is, I know. I'm not mad at you. I just wish you wouldn't give me mixed signals.

Luis: Is that what I did?

Fancy: Yeah. Yeah, you did. You led me to believe you were ready to move on.

Luis: I thought I was. I just --

Fancy: Well, you're not the only one who did it. Aunt Sheridan told me it was all right for me to fall in love with you. But she didn't mean it either.

Luis: What do you mean?

Fancy: I went to her because I felt something happening between us. I asked her if it was all right for me to date you, and she said it was fine with her. She said she was happy with Chris, that she had moved on. She said you were free to do whatever you wanted.

Luis: She said that?

Fancy: Yeah. But it's not true, is it? I don't even think it's true for Sheridan.

Luis: Why do you say that?

Fancy: I don't have any real evidence, but I kind of got the feeling she wasn't ready for you to move on, no matter what she told you.

Luis: I see.

Fancy: And that gives you hope, doesn't it? Don't deny it. I can see it in your eyes.

Fancy: So here's my bottom line. Um, I won't be involved with a man who loves another woman. I want a man who loves me and only me. I don't -- I don't want to be second choice for any man.

Luis: I don't want that either.

Fancy: Just don't, please, it's all right. You don't have to say anything.

Fancy: I wish you the best. But good-bye, Luis.

Fancy: Good-bye.

Gwen: You weren't kidding when you said this code was long.

Jared: Yeah, I've almost, almost got it.

Theresa: Please don't let Jared find us like this, please.

Ethan: Theresa, I'm sorry. I'm not going to hide, ok? I'm going to face Gwen and I'm going to tell her the truth.

Theresa: But I don't want to lose Jared.

Ethan: You know what, this is a real change of heart from you. If you were so worried about losing Jared, then why did you just make love to me?

Theresa: Ethan, you know why I just made love to you. Because I thought for sure you were finally ready to be with me.

Ethan: Does Jared know he's second-best? Does Jared know that you're using him as a substitute for me?

Theresa: Oh, no, I'm not. I'm totally not, ok? I think that we could have a wonderful relationship. That's if you don't do this.

Ethan: I'm sorry, Theresa. I'm sorry, I'm going to stay right here. I'm going to face Gwen... and Jared.

Theresa's voice: I am not going to lose Jared.

Jared: Done.

Gwen: Ok.

Jared: That should do it. It should be unlocked.

Gwen: Oh, my God.
