Noah: Wow. There's no hotels like this in Harmony.

Maya: I'll say.

Noah: Yeah. Whatever it is Lena wants us to do, she's definitely sparing no expense to put us up to do it.

Maya: Yeah. It's too bad we can't enjoy Rome.

Noah: Look, this could be Moscow for all I care, all right, Maya? I just want to get our little mission over and done with so we can get back to Harmony and I can make things right with Fancy. God, she has to believe that I only broke up with her because I wanted to keep her safe, you know, that we're working with the FBI to help them nab Lena. God, I will die, I will kill myself if I ruined my relationship with Fancy over this cloak-and-dagger nonsense we're mixed up in.

Maya: I'm sorry, Noah. I can't let you tell Fancy the truth or we'll all end up dead.

Man: Rich American show-off, with her fancy luggage and gaudy jewels. She makes me sick. Hi. What beautiful luggage you have here.

Fancy: Hmm.

Man: Wow, such quality. And your jewels -- almost as Bella as you are.

Fancy: Oh, grazie, Luigi.

Luigi: Prego, prego. So, what brings you to Roma this time? Is it a prince or a football player?

Fancy: Neither. I'm here to work. Love is the last thing on my mind.

Luigi: No! A beautiful woman such as yourself must have love, or you will wither like a sun-dried tomato.

Fancy: Well, I had love back in the states, but the man broke my heart.

Luigi: Disgraziato. You know, I have a cousin in New York from Brooklyn. He could break this guy's kneecaps if you want me to.

Fancy: Oh, thanks, but I'll be happy never to see him again.

Fancy: Oh, my God. What are you doing here?

Pilar: Luis, mijo, I wish you would sit down and eat something.

Theresa: I did have the cook prepare your favorite.

Luis: Thanks, I'm not hungry. I still can't believe that this is happening. Sheridan is not going to divorce Chris. For God's sake, she's pregnant with his child. Chris, James, the baby that she's expecting -- that's Sheridan's life from now on.

Pilar: I know. It's a horrible situation, mijo.

Theresa: Especially when Sheridan really is in love with you.

Luis: Yeah, that's the worst part. How can Sheridan and I be in love and still not be together?

Sheridan's voice: My husband and my stepson. Soon there'll be four of us. I have to start thinking about what I have, not what I've lost.

Chris: Sheridan, are you all right?

Sheridan: Yeah. I was just thinking how happy I am to be with you and James, how blessed we are to have a son or daughter on the way.

Chris: And then there's Luis.

Sheridan: It shows?

Chris: But I understand it. It's not easy to hurt somebody you love.

Sheridan: I'd give anything not to have told Luis that we're married and expecting a child.

Chris: What else could you have done, except leave me for him? Haven't changed your mind, have you, Sheridan? You're not planning to leave me for Luis, are you?

Fancy: Esme! What are you doing in Rome?

Esme: As many men as possible, dear.

Luigi: I'm available, signorina.

Esme: I'm hearing voices.

Fancy: I hope you're not still mad.

Esme: Oh, for letting me think that Lord Sarni was set to propose so that I'd leave for England, leaving you with that yummy hunk of a man-flesh Noah?

Fancy: You were pretty upset when you found out I tricked you.

Esme: Was I?

Fancy: You tried to kill both Noah and me.

{Noah: What are you doing?

Esme: Well, originally, I was going to moose hunting with daddy. But now I have another head that I want on my wall! }

Esme: I was in a mood, wasn't I? Well, lucky for you and Noah, my aim was off that evening. But it's much better now.

Maya: Nice room.

Noah: Ok. Now if Lena would just call --

Maya: Please try to be patient, Noah. We just got here.

Noah: Maya, look, don't talk to me about patience, ok? I want this thing over with, whatever it is. I mean, we've got the FBI, you know, breathing down our necks, trying to get us to help them implicate Lena in some terrorist plot. We've got Lena threatening us every two seconds if we don't find her partner's killer and get back whatever it is they stole from the trunk in that attic.

Maya: Look, I hate that you're involved with this.

Noah: Yeah, well, you and me both.

Maya: Why don't we go for a walk? See Rome at night?

Noah: And risk missing Lena's call? No. I want to find out what our mission is so that we can do it, get it done, go back to Harmony. Then you can help rebuild your mother's restaurant, and I can try to rebuild my relationship with Fancy.

Sheridan: I hate that I hurt Luis. But I'm not leaving you just to make him feel better.

Chris: You're sure?

Sheridan: I love you. I love James. I love our unborn child. I'm not breaking up our family just to fix things with Luis. Remember what I told you in Hawaii? Luis wouldn't or couldn't accept what I knew to be true about Marty -- that he was my son, not Beth's. He wouldn't take that leap of faith. He wasn't there for me when I needed him most. And if I thought telling him how I feel would do any good, I would. But what's it going to change? What's the point? I'd still be with you.

Chris: I believe you, Sheridan. I'm sorry that I still have my doubts, but the way Theresa went on about you and Luis, it kind of rattled me.

Sheridan: I don't understand Theresa anymore. I mean, she can be so incredibly insensitive, like with us and Gwen and Ethan. Just ignore her.

Chris: I'm working on it. Yet sometimes I still can't believe that you're mine.

Sheridan: It'll sink in sooner or later.

Chris: Like you accepting that you're not with Luis anymore?

Sheridan: I love Luis. I always will. But sometimes love just isn't enough.

Chris: You know, that's what Theresa doesn't understand when it comes to Ethan.

Sheridan: Exactly. I love you and James, but it's more than that. There's a deeper connection between us. It's hard to put into words, but it's there.

Chris: Strange that we both know it but we can't explain it.

Sheridan: I don't think it's strange. I think it's wonderful.

James: Mommy? Will you and Daddy come play with me?

Sheridan: Of course we will.

Pilar: Mijo, I wish I knew what to say to make you feel better, but I don't.

Theresa: Mama, it's ok. Because I know how to make Luis smile again.

Pilar: Theresa, por favor, ok? Keep your ideas to yourself. You've caused enough upset tonight.

Theresa: Me? Mama, I think it's the situation. Luis and Ethan -- they're not with the people they're supposed to be with, but I know how I can get Sheridan back for you, Luis.

Pilar: Stop it, Theresa.

Luis: How?

Theresa: I'll use Alistair's money and power to tear Sheridan and Chris apart.

Pilar: No, you won't. I forbid it.

Theresa: Mama, I failed you. I wasn't heavy-handed enough when it came to Papa and Katherine. Look how that turned out. You didn't get to renew your vows to Papa. I'm not going to make the same mistake twice. As far as I'm concerned, Sheridan and Chris are history.

Noah: How did it come to this, huh? How did I end up in the most romantic city in the world without Fancy being here to share it with?

Noah: I just wish Lena would call.

Maya: Do you remember when we were dating in college, and we talked about moving here to Rome after we graduated?

Noah: Were we drinking wine or beer that night?

Maya: Noah, we were serious.

Noah: Yeah, if you say so. I really don't remember.

Maya: It was so easy to dream then. You know, anything seemed possible.

Noah: You know, I bet Lena is deliberately not calling just to remind us she's the one calling the shots.

Maya: Try to be patient.

Noah: Yeah, right. The longer this thing drags on, the longer Fancy has to believe that I purposely used her and that I left her for you. God, ring, damn it, ring! I want this thing to over with so I can go back to Harmony and fix things.

Maya: I'm sure she'll call soon.

Noah: At least Fancy's safe, back in the states, out of harm's way.

Fancy: Ow! Oh, that hurt!

Esme: Good. Just be glad customs confiscated my rifle, or they'd be making room for you in the nearest catacomb.

Fancy: Esme, I said I was sorry over what happened with Noah. I should've told you we'd been involved the second you set your sights on him.

Fancy: Yes, you should have, instead of letting me make a fool of myself, coming on to a man that didn't want me.

Luigi: I'd be honored to pleasure you, signorina.

Esme: There's that voice again.

Fancy: I thought you'd make fun of me for being involved with someone out of our class.

Esme: Well, there was a time when I would have. But since Lord Sarni's mother dissed me for not being titled, I've become much more egalitarian. So, if Noah makes you happy, then by all means, enjoy riding that big, wooden ark of his.

Esme: Fancy, what is it?

Fancy: Noah left me.

Luigi: I'm available, Ms. Crane.

Esme: Where is that voice coming from? Maybe I should have my medication adjusted again. But, now, Fancy, why on earth would Noah leave you?

Fancy: To go back to his old girlfriend. I caught them in bed together, Esme. I caught Noah making love to another woman.

Esme: Oh, poor Fancy. Oh, and poor me for not being that other woman.

Luis: Theresa, I am not about to let you use Alistair's money and power to come between Sheridan and Chris. That's what that old bastard did to Sheridan and me, and I do not wish that on anyone, you hear me?

Theresa: Alistair was wrong to tear you and Sheridan apart in the first place, so I'm going to right that wrong by bringing you two back together.

Pilar: Your brother said no, Theresa.

Theresa: You belong with her, Luis. And as soon as you are back together, you'll thank me.

Pilar: What kind of a daughter have I raised to have no respect for marriage? First Ethan and Gwen's, and now Chris and Sheridan's.

Theresa: I have respect for marriage, Mama. I have deep respect when I feel like it's right. But Ethan doesn't belong with Gwen any more than Chris belongs with Sheridan.

Pilar: That's not up to you, Theresa, that's up to God.

Theresa: Well, I think God's given me the power to do what I think is right, and I'm not afraid to use it.

Pilar: Luis, you see what you've missed?

Luis: Oh, yeah. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Theresa: Not you, too, Luis.

Luis: Oh, yeah. Me, too. And you know why? Because I've spent years protecting this family from Alistair, only to come back and find that you're his wife.

Pilar: Some wife. She tried to kill Alistair twice.

Theresa: Well, he did rape me, Mama.

Luis: Yeah, if that man wasn't in a coma already --

Pilar: Mira, Theresa, as awful as that man was towards you, it wasn't your place to try to kill him. Not only that, but you almost wound up killing Ethan in the process.

Luis: Oh, yeah, I heard about that. Poisoning the guacamole, sending Ethan into a coma. Nice one.

Theresa: Gwen was going to take Ethan off life support if I didn't kidnap him from the hospital in time.

Luis: Yeah? And where did that get you? Nowhere. You're still alone and Ethan's back with Gwen.

Pilar: Eso verdad.

Luis: Theresa, when are you going to learn that plotting and scheming never works when it comes to marriage?

Theresa: Really? Well, you should tell that to Gwen. Although -- hmm, no, because that is how she got Ethan to marry her in the first place. So you know what, I'm just going to do more of the same to get him back. Ethan loves me and Gwen knows it.

Luis: Doesn't matter. Ethan's still married to Gwen.

Pilar: That's right, and marriage is sacred.

Theresa: An over 50% divorce rate says otherwise.

Pilar: When did you get so cynical?

Theresa: Well, it took a little time. You know what? I'm grateful that I've toughened up because it's made me more determined than ever not to give up on true love, no matter what it takes.

Luis: Theresa, you don't know what true love really is. True love is putting the other person ahead of you. It's giving them what they really want, what makes them happy, what they really need, even if it hurts you like hell.

Chris: Give me a yellow please, James. Thank you. And a blue one.

Chris: Hey, something the matter?

Sheridan: No, why?

Chris: You just zoned out for a few minutes. What are you thinking about?

Esme: Oh! If you were hoping to see some woman-on-woman action, forget it. Now, take Ms. Crane's luggage to her suite, tout de suite.

Luigi: Si, signorina.

Esme: Oh, and don't forget your tip.

Luigi: Si, prego.

Esme: Cashmere will be the new silk. You can take that one to the bank. Oh. Oh, poor Fancy -- brokenhearted over losing Noah to another woman. Life can be so hard at times.

Fancy: Yes, it can.

Esme: Now, you just remember, you deserve this for deceiving me over Lord Sarni's proposal.

Fancy: Esme, I'm sorry. Can you ever forgive me?

Esme: Well, the way I hold a grudge -- oh, it's doubtful. But I'll try.

Fancy: Thanks. Let me buy you a conciliatory drink. Oh, well, a bottle of Cristal would be lovely to start with.

Fancy: Hmm. Who said you can't put a price on friendship?

Esme: I don't know.

[Esme and Fancy laugh]

Esme: Ooh! What?

Fancy: I just saw Gianni come into the lobby.

Esme: The legendary Roman Romeo?

Fancy: Shh, yes. I don't want him to see me.

Esme: Why not? Legend has it that he is the best lover in all of Italy.

Fancy: Well, that's just it. Gianni thinks he's God's gift to women.

Esme: Because he is.

Fancy: He tried to have me on our first date together, but I refused.

Esme: Maybe you need medication, too.

Fancy: Gianni got on my nerves. His pushy, touchy, feely didn't work with me. I felt like I was out with an octopus.

Esme: Oh, I understand. You've had your fill of men using you. That's interesting.

Fancy: Yeah, Noah in particular. I wish I could forget I ever met him.

Esme: Well, I can help with that. Why don't you and I go out tonight? We can have dinner here, and then we'll go clubbing until we find you a man that will make you forget all about Noah.

Fancy: I don't know, Esme.

Esme: Oh, come on, I insist. Now, go up to your suite and put on something more dolce vita. I'll wait for you down here.

Fancy: Prego.

Esme: Oh, Gianni!

Gianni: Oh, mi cara.

Esme: Oh. You will not believe your luck coming here tonight. My friend Fancy Crane is in Rome, and she is dying to see you again.

Gianni: She is?

Esme: Well, yes. She was very unhappy about the way your last date ended.

Gianni: So was I. I never treated Fancy to dessert.

Esme: Oh, well, now is your chance to make it up to her. You know, she's coming down here to eat, so why don't you surprise her.

Gianni: I will. Grazie.

Esme: Oh, my pleasure, Gianni. Believe me.

Esme: One evening with Gianni should settle the score between Fancy and me over Noah.

Noah: I guess Lena decided to eat her young before calling and telling us what to do next.

Maya: Try to relax, Noah. I'm sure she'll call.

Noah: What part of "I want this over with" don't you understand?

Maya: Look, I hate waiting, too. But staring at the phone is not going to make it ring. I think we should get something to eat.

Noah: And risk missing Lena's call? No way. If you're hungry, we'll order room service.

Maya: Why don't we go eat in the restaurant? If Lena calls, we can have the hotel operator forward the call to our table.

Noah: Fine. I'll make the reservation and tell the operator we'll be in the restaurant in case someone calls.

Sheridan: I was just thinking about what a long day it's been, how hard it was telling Luis that we're married.

Chris: Look, I know how upsetting this has been for you. If there's anything I could do to help you feel better --

Sheridan: You've already been so incredibly understanding already.

Chris: Well, love is a great motivator.

James: Daddy, where's my dinosaur book?

Chris: I'm sorry, son, I think that's still back at the B&B. Sheridan, do you mind if James and I go back to the B&B and get the last of our stuff for here?

Sheridan: No, that's fine by me.

Chris: All right. Come on, then, little guy.

Chris: You'll be all right here by yourself?

Sheridan: As long as I know you're coming home to me oh, would you do me a favor? There's a green bag in the living room at the B&B. Would you pick it up for me?

Chris: I'll be glad to.

Sheridan: Thank you.

Sheridan: I need to get out of here for a little while.

Theresa: I can't believe you won't do anything to get Sheridan back.

Pilar: You heard your brother, Theresa. Let it go.

Theresa: I'm not going to let it go, Mama. What are you going to do, wait around, just sit and hope that she leaves Chris someday? No, you have got to make it happen, Luis.

Pilar: Stop, Theresa.

Theresa: No. I want Luis to be happy. Please, you've got to do something. Otherwise, you will spend the rest of your life alone and hurting, like you are right now.

Pilar: Your brother's not alone. He has us.

Theresa: Yes, he does have us, and we love him. But we can't love him the way Sheridan can.

Luis: Theresa, Sheridan is with Chris now, ok?

Theresa: Yeah, she is, you're right. Yes, she is. And he's holding her and he's kissing her and he's making love to her.

Pilar: Theresa.

Theresa: And I know you cannot be happy about that.

Luis: I want Sheridan to be happy. I told you that.

Theresa: She can't be. It's like Ethan -- he can't be happy with Gwen, the same way Sheridan cannot be happy with Chris.

Luis: Yeah, well, Sheridan made her choice, just like Ethan did.

Theresa: Right. But knowing that she is with him, intimate with Chris -- how can you be ok with somebody else doing that to your soul mate?

Pilar: Listen, it's obvious your brother has made his choice. Now, we have to respect it.

Theresa: And what about Sheridan? Did she make her choice? Or did this Chris guy make it for her? What do we know about him anyway?

Pilar: Well, we know he's been good to Sheridan.

Theresa: Ok. We don't know where he's from, right? We don't know what he's doing now to make a living. We don't know why his first marriage went south. You know what I think we should do? I think we should investigate this Mr. Christopher Boothe guy. Yeah, dig deep enough, I bet you we'll find something to force him to leave Sheridan so you can have her back.

Pilar: Don't be tempted, mijo.

Theresa: Oh, come on. He could be like a gigolo or something. Like that guy -- that French guy that Sheridan was engaged to. What's his -- Jean Luc? No. Alistair -- he could've paid him to woo Sheridan, marry her just in case you were ever found. I mean, it is possible, isn't it, Luis? Now, for you to just squander a second chance to be with Sheridan -- now, that's not noble. That's absolutely nuts. If you love her like I know you do, Luis --

Luis: Ok! Ok. You win, ok?

Pilar: Don't tell me you'll join your sister to try to tear Sheridan and Chris apart?

Fancy: Oh, God, I hope Gianni left.

Fancy: La mia amica stava provando a reservare una tavola per noi.

Man: Si, ms. Crane, vieni con me.

Fancy: Grazie.

Gianni: Buona sera.

Fancy: Gianni.

Gianni: Mio bell'angelo, biondo e bello.

Fancy: Uh, where's Esme?

Gianni: Oh, she had to go, so it's going to be just the two of us for dinner -- and dessert at my villa.

Fancy: I'm abstaining from dessert these days, Gianni.

Gianni: I think you'll find my cannoli irresistible.

Fancy: Better that you save it for someone who really wants it.

Gianni: Let's just skip dinner and go straight to my villa. Esme told me that you couldn't wait to see me again.

Fancy: Esme said that?

Gianni: Mm-hmm.

Man: From the lady in the lobby, Ms. Crane.

Gianni: Let's eat a little something. I have no doubt we'll burn off the calories later. Please.

Noah: Maya, I still think we should've ordered room service.

Maya: Noah, we're here. Let's just eat. The hotel operator knows to forward Lena's call to us here.

Noah: Ok, all right. But I'm really not in the mood for any --

Maya: What is it?

Noah: Fancy's here.

James: Daddy, look.

Chris: Hey. That's our new family, huh? And we're very blessed to have Sheridan love us every day from now on.

James: Yes.

Chris: You ready to go?

James: Yes.

Chris: You got everything?

James: Uh-huh.

Chris: Ok. Oh, I almost forgot that bag that Sheridan asked me to get for her.

James: Daddy, I found my dinosaur book.

Chris: Well, bring it over here, son. I think there's some room in the bag.

Theresa: Beautiful. I am going to contact Alistair's top investigator and I'll have him dig up some dirt on this Christopher Boothe guy.

Luis: Theresa, don't.

Theresa: Luis, you just told me that I could help you break up Sheridan and Chris.

Luis: I said you won the argument. But Sheridan has chosen to be with Chris, and I have to respect that.

Pilar: Good, mijo.

Theresa: Well, I'm just really confused here. You want to be with Sheridan. You want to be with Papa. And I've got the money and power to give you both what you want, and you will not let me help you.

Pilar: Because it's wrong, Theresa.

Luis: Theresa, the way you see things, it's a mess.

Theresa: You know what I've learned being Mrs. Alistair Crane, is that sometimes doing the right thing, Luis, isn't always the best. Yes, you are doing right by Sheridan now. But you know what? The day is going to come when you -- when something snaps and you realize that doing right isn't going to cut it for you anymore, because you're going to want to be with Sheridan no matter what it takes. And let me tell you something, you got to trust me because I'm already there with Ethan, and there is no going back.

Luis: Well, I would never do anything to manipulate Sheridan breaking up with Chris, ok?

Theresa: Ok. So, what if she doesn't come back to you, Luis?

Luis: Well, that's a chance I'm just going to have to take. I'm just going to have faith in the love that Sheridan and I share, the same love that we have shared in all our lifetimes.

Theresa: And in all those lifetimes, you've been torn apart.

Luis: But in this lifetime, we're going to be together.

Theresa: And how is that?

Luis: I don't know. But something is going to happen and one day Sheridan is going to realize that she can't live without me. And when that day comes, we will be reunited together forever.

Sheridan: I've got to stop worrying about Luis. I have a husband now. We have a son, a baby on the way.

Sheridan's voice: I have got to focus on making a home with Chris and James, getting ready for our baby. Chris and I have to make sure James doesn't feel we're ignoring him because of his new brother or sister.

Sheridan: I know. I'll have a playground built for James. And little Ethan can use it, too, and Jane when she comes to visit, and eventually the baby. I remember Julian and I used to share a playground that Mother had built for us -- that was until Father had it torn down to build a new garage for his collection of Bentleys. I will never treat my children the way Father treated Julian and me. If only Luis believed me about Marty, Marty would be here right now to play with his cousins. Luis didn't believe me, and our love just wasn't enough.

{Luis: Look, we can't be over. I love you with all of my heart. We're soul mates, remember?

Sheridan: No, we're not.

Luis: Oh, Sheridan, how can you even say that? After everything that we've been through -- the tragedies, the past lives together?

Sheridan: Well, they were different. In those lives, you didn't cost me my son.

Luis: Sheridan, come on.

Sheridan: No, Luis, I don't want to fight about this anymore, all right? The simple fact is that if you had believed me when I first told you that Marty was my son, he'd be with me right now. The three of us would be together. But, no, I lost Marty, so you lost me. }

Sheridan: The gazebo will always hold a special place in my heart. But it's gone now, destroyed by Father. A new one is being built in its place. But it won't be the same. Nothing will ever be the same.

Noah: What is Fancy doing here? And who's that guy she's with?

Maya: Your guess is as good as mine.

Noah: Oh, my God. Its probably one of her old jet-set boyfriends.

Fancy: What on earth is Noah doing here?

Gianni: Chi e Noah?

Fancy: And he's with Maya.

Gianni: Chi e Maya?

Fancy: They must have come here to celebrate being a couple again.

Noah: Man, she probably thinks we're here as a couple. I've got to set her straight.

Gianni: Hey, do you want to leave?

Fancy: Yes. No. Wait, I need to think.

Maya: Noah, you cannot tell Fancy what we're doing here. You will blow our cover and put her in danger.

Noah: Look, I'm going to blow any chance of ever having a relationship with Fancy again if I don't come clean with her right now.

Chris: Look at the two of you, happy and in love. But that was then and this is now. Sheridan's my wife, and we've got James and a baby of our own on the way. You lost her, Luis, but I won't. I won't lose Sheridan.

James: Sheridan's not going away like my first mommy, is she, Daddy?

Theresa: I just think it's so wrong that you won't let me help you use Alistair's money and power to break up Sheridan and Chris.

Luis: Well, I'm not going to use Alistair's money and power to break up Sheridan and Chris. It is Alistair's money and power that cost Mama her happiness with Papa. It cost us our brother Antonio's life. It cost me Sheridan and my son. So, no, I am not going to let you use it.

Theresa: But turnabout is fair play, Luis.

Pilar: Can you believe how cold-hearted your sister has become?

Theresa: You mean practical, Mama.

Luis: Theresa, you're a mess, ok? Your life has been nothing but a train wreck ever since you got involved with the Cranes. Scanning Ethan's paternity stuff into your computer? Asking Julian to adopt Ethan only to have you get pregnant by him? Marrying Alistair in some whacked-out scheme to get Ethan back? When are you going to learn?

Theresa: Ok, what about you? Let's just talk about your life for a second. Ever since you've been involved with Sheridan, your life's been a nuclear train wreck. I mean, you ran off to New Mexico to find Papa. You almost got killed by drug dealers. Sheridan -- she was buried alive in a coffin, Luis. And then you two almost got killed when Alistair had that boat blown up that you were on. And then Sheridan being involved with Antonio when she had amnesia. And then Beth kidnapping her, keeping her hostage in a pit while she was pregnant, only to pass off Marty as her son. And you believing Beth over Sheridan.

Luis: Watch it. You're on thin ice right now, ok?

Theresa: Luis, all I'm trying to say is that love isn't always easy. But it is always worth it.

Luis: And I am not disagreeing with that. But I do draw the line at doing anything underhanded to get Sheridan back. Now, if she wants to come back to me, I will be here for her. And if she doesn't, well, then that's that.

Theresa: Luis -- Luis? Please wait, Luis. Please!

Theresa: I don't know why he won't let me help him.

Pilar: Let your brother handle this in his own way, please. The right way. Your brother has faith that if Sheridan loves him enough, eventually she will be with him again.

Sheridan: Your proposal was so perfect, Luis. So perfect.

{Luis: Sheridan Crane --

Luis: Will you do me honor of becoming my wife? Will you marry me?

Sheridan: Yes, Luis.

Sheridan: I will marry you. Yes, yes. }

Sheridan: I thought we would be together forever. I really did.

Maya: If Noah tells Fancy that we're working for the FBI, we're all going to end up dead.

Fancy: Noah's heading this way.

Gianni: Do you want me to keep him from bothering you?

Fancy: What? No. Just kiss me.

Maya: Noah's too late. Fancy's already with that other guy.

Chris: No, son, Sheridan's not going to leave us like your first mommy.

James: Are you sure?

Chris: Yes, I'm positive. Sheridan loves us so much that she wants to be with us from now on.

James: I'm glad.

Chris: Me, too, son. Me, too.

Pilar: We may not always understand life's twists and turns, but we should never doubt that it's all part of God's plan for us. Like Luis and Sheridan -- you would think a love as strong as theirs would win out in the end, but it didn't.

Theresa: But it can, if Luis would just fight to get her back.

Pilar: Yeah, Theresa, por favor, mija. You heard your brother. Yes, he wants Sheridan back, but only if it's her choice. He will never do anything to manipulate Sheridan into leaving Chris.

Theresa: Well, then he's making a mistake, one he will regret for the rest of his life.

Sheridan: As much as Luis and I loved each other, it just wasn't enough. If only Luis had taken that leap of faith and believed me about Marty, we'd be together right now. But he didn't believe me. And we're not together. What a shame. What a waste to go through all that pain for nothing.
