Flight attendant: More champagne, Ms. Crane?

Fancy: Yes, please.

Flight attendant: We have good tailwinds. We'll be in Rome even earlier than scheduled.

Fancy: I can't wait.

Flight attendant: Is this your first trip to Italy?

Fancy: Oh, no, but it's been a while.  I love everything about Italy:  the food, the museums, the gorgeous clothes.

Flight attendant: The gorgeous men? I hope you enjoy yourself.

Fancy: I'm planning on it.

Fancy: Good-bye Noah Bennett with any luck, I'll never see you again.

[Baby crying]

Maya: If that baby doesn't stop crying, I'm going to throw it off the plane.

Noah: Hmm?

Maya: Don't tell me you're thinking about Fancy.

Noah: Of course. I can't wait to get this trip over with so I can get back to Harmony and explain. I hate it that Fancy thinks I don't love her anymore.

Maya: Don't lose your focus, Noah. Do you have any idea how dangerous Lena and her friends are? We have to do exactly what she says when we get to Italy.

Noah: Then I can get Fancy back.

Maya: Noah, you are the bravest guy I know, but you have to get your head out of the clouds or you're going to get killed. And I could never forgive myself if anything happened to you.

Paloma: What's going on at that convent? Dios mio, that was so strange.

Simone: Look, I don't care what that nun said. We heard organ music coming from that chapel.

Paloma: Yes, and we saw the bright light coming from under the door. And Whitney wasn't there the first time we went in.

Simone: So how come when we went in the chapel, there was no music and the only light was coming from candles?

Paloma: And how did Whitney pop in and out from the chapel without us seeing her? We were right there at the only entrance. How is that possible?

Simone: I don't know. But I know that there is something strange happening at that convent and to Whitney.

Paloma: The question is, what?

Whitney: God, is that -- Theresa.

Theresa: God, look at you. You look worse now than you did before.

Whitney: I'm fine. I'm fine.

Theresa: Please don't lie to me.

Whitney: What are you doing here?

Theresa: Your mom and Chad told me that you've been beating yourself.

Whitney: Well, they should mind their own business.

Theresa: No, see, we're worried about you, Whitney. Now, I didn't believe it when they told me, but now that I see you -- it's true. You're not well. Now, you need to get out of here, and I'm taking you with me right now.

[Knock on door]

Ethan: All right, hold on, hold on.

Chad: Hey.

Ethan: Oh, it's you again.

Chad: No, Ethan, Ethan, I need your help.

Ethan: You know, don't even start, Chad. Don't even start. If it's about Theresa, I'm staying with my wife, ok?

Chad: No, look, Ethan, I'm sorry about what happened before, ok?

Ethan: You know, sorry doesn't even cut it.

Chad: Ethan, this isn't about Theresa. It's Whitney.

Ethan: Look, if Whitney wants to become a nun, Chad, that's her business, ok?

Chad: Ethan, Ethan, she's hurting herself -- whipping herself. She's got bloody scars all over her back.

Ethan: Self-flagellation? Is that what we're talking about?

Chad: Yeah.

Ethan: Chad, the catholic church hasn't condoned that kind of behavior for centuries.

Chad: I know, I know. Her Mother Superior was shocked, told Whitney to stop, but, Ethan, man, you haven't seen how she is lately. She won't listen. Ok, she's not thinking straight, Ethan. It's like -- it's like she's going crazy. We got to get her out of there.

Ethan: What are we supposed to do.  I mean, she wants to be there, Chad. She's taking her final vows soon, right? She's going to be cloistered for the rest of her life.

Chad: No, no, Ethan. If we leave her in there, she is gonna die.

Luis: You're pregnant?

Sheridan: Luis, I'm so sorry you had to find out this way.

Luis: And you're the, uh...

Chris: Yeah, the father.

Luis: Huh.

Chris: Look, I know this is a lot to hit you with at once, but I wanted to tell you --

Luis: Sheridan, would you please tell me that I am sleeping and I'm about to wake up from the worst nightmare of my life?

Sheridan: Luis --

Luis: I go away to look for our son. I come back, you're -- you're married to some other guy. You are expecting his child? This is supposed to be my life. I'm supposed to be the one who is married to you and has a family with you. How does this happen? Sheridan, I can't lose you -- I can't --

Chris: Get your hands off my wife.

Chris: All right, pal.

Sheridan: Chris, don't. He's ill. Please go. Let me speak to him alone.

Chris: You already had too much time alone with him.

Sheridan: Look, I know this is hard for you. But think about what it's doing to him. It's a shock. So please, for me, let me speak to him alone.

Chris: All right. I'll be right outside if you need me.

Sheridan: Thank you.

Luis: Thanks for getting rid of him. I knew you would. Sheridan, come on, we've got too much history behind us to just give up on each other. I mean, God knows I won't give up on you --

Sheridan: Luis, please stop. Just listen to me.

Luis: Sheridan, no matter what's happened, it doesn't matter. I mean, we love each other. That's all.

Sheridan: How did this happen?

Luis: It doesn't matter, Sheridan.

Sheridan: Would you please just let me speak?

Luis: Ok.

Sheridan: I know this is hard for you. It's hard for me, too. I told you, I thought you were dead. When they opened up that coffin, I recognized you immediately, but I had them run the DNA test anyway. And it was you, Luis -- you. I never imagined that my father could come up with such an elaborate ruse. And when I thought you were dead, I wanted to die, too. There didn't seem to be any point in living. If James hadn't come into my life when he did, I would've died. But he needed me. He'd just lost his mother. He didn't know his father. And there we were -- two lost souls comforting each other. And then Chris came along. And he grew to become very important to me. And I fought those feelings because you were the only man for me. But as I said before, there was one night on the beach where I was very upset. And you came to me in a vision or a dream. And you told me that you would wait for me in the next life. But in this life, you wanted me to move on. You wanted me to find any happiness that I could find. And when you were gone, I turned around, and Chris was there. So I took it as a sign. I stopped feeling guilty over the feelings I had for him -- those feelings of love.

Luis: I don't want you to move on, ok, Sheridan? I love you, and you love me, ok? I am not going to let this happen.

Ethan: You're overreacting. Whitney is not going to die.

Chad: No, Ethan, she is really hurting herself. Ok, her back is raw. It's covered in bloody, infected welts. Ethan, she gave herself a fever and got really sick.

Ethan: Good God, Chad.

Chad: Yeah, the convent called Eve to examine Whitney. That's when we found out she was hurting herself. Julian was there, too. And the crazy part, Ethan -- the crazy part is Whitney doesn't think she's doing anything wrong. She says she's atoning for her sins against God -- or in other words, me and Miles.

Ethan: Oh, no.

Chad: Yeah, I took Miles over to see Whitney, and she said she didn't want to see either one of us ever again.

Ethan: Not even her own son?

Chad: No. Ethan, you should've heard her. She doesn't make any sense. I mean, it's like she's one of those people in those crazy cults, like she's -- she's been brainwashed.

Ethan: Chad, I don't understand this. Why would nuns at a reputable convent condone this kind of behavior?

Chad: That's the thing -- they don't. They didn't know, Ethan. They were shocked, too. Ethan, Whitney says she talks to God.

Ethan: What?

Chad: That God himself told her to whip herself to pay for her sins.

Ethan: This is crazy.

Chad: No, no, Ethan, this is serious. Really serious. I have got to get her out of there before something worse happens.

Whitney: You're wasting your breath, Theresa. I'm not leaving this convent.

Theresa: Something is wrong with you, Whitney. And you need help that you're not getting here.

Whitney: You don't know anything.

Theresa: I know enough to see my friend is falling to pieces. You're exhausted, Whitney. You've lost weight. And you're beating yourself? I mean, that's -- that's -- that's sick.

Whitney: You don't know what you're talking about.

Theresa: I know that whipping yourself, Whitney, is not normal. And if you don't see that, that is a really obvious sign that you've got a psychological condition --

Whitney: So now you think that I'm ill, I'm sick?

Theresa: I just want you to listen to me, ok? If everyone who loves you is worried about you, is it possible that your perception of yourself is flawed because you are ill?

Whitney: Theresa, I'm fine. God sees me, ok? God knows me. I'm fine. I'm doing his work.

Theresa: You've been the reasonable one, Whitney, the logical one. I've been the one who has let my emotions run away with me, but I can see that you're in trouble. Now, I don't know what you've got yourself mixed up in here, but you need help, and it's got to stop, and I mean it has to stop right now.

Whitney: God is the only one that's going to help me. I'm fine. This is my home. This is where I belong, Theresa.

Theresa: No, Whitney. No, you need help, come on. And I'm taking you with me.

Whitney: No, Theresa --

Theresa: Yes. Don't fight me on this one. Let's go.

Whitney: No, I'm not leaving.

Fancy: I'd forgotten how nice it is to be pampered.

Flight attendant: Well, that's what we're here for.

Flight attendant: Anything wrong?

Fancy: No. I just remembered something, but that's all over and done with. I'll never think about it again.

Flight attendant: Oh, well, why don't you eat, then go to sleep? We'll be in Rome before you know it.

Fancy: Thank you.

Noah: Whatever this job is that Lena wants us to do, we have to be able to do it so I can get back to my life and to Fancy.

Maya: Ow.

Noah: Sorry.

Maya's voice: I just hope Lena lets us go once we do what she wants.

Noah: Princess Fancy, 'tis I, Noah, your noble prince, home from the wars to sweep thee into my arms.

Fancy: Oh, who are you kidding, buster? You are no prince. You are a stinking, croaking, slime-covered frog.

Noah: My princess --

Fancy: Oh, spare me, and stop with the princess crap. You slept with that peasant, Maya, and broke my heart, Noah. Just beat it, and try your act out on the princess in the castle next door.

Noah: My love, you are wrong. I did not make love to Maya. We were only pretending.

Fancy: Oh, I hope you had some pretend birth control.

Noah: I had to convince you that I did not love you.

Fancy: Good going, sweetie. You did a hell of job.

Noah: Believe me, my princess, I love thee.

Fancy: Come again?

Noah: My lady, your life, my life, and Maya's life were all in grave danger from some very bad people in Maya's past. I had to convince them that I did not love you so that they would leave you alone. I traveled to the far-off land of Italia to find these wretched scoundrels. And I did. And they have been turned over to -- the -- uh -- to the -- the -- the fairy-tale version of the FBI, and, um -- and all is safe now.

Fancy: You're not making up this bull?

Noah: All I care about is keeping you happy, Fancy.

Fancy: Really?

Noah: Really.

Fancy: Oh, Noah, you really are my prince.

Noah: [Whispering] Fancy, my princess.

Maya: Keep your mind on the business at hand, Noah, or we're both going to end up dead.

Simone: I can't get my mind off Whitney. You know, it's bizarre to think that the convent is not a safe place for her.

Paloma: Hmm, I know. The nuns at school in Mexico were so nice.

Simone: Yeah, but I don't think it's the nuns. You know, they do good work. My parents and I volunteered there, and the convent was always such a peaceful and spiritual place. But, now -- I don't know -- it has this strange vibe. I can't explain it, but it gives me the creeps.

Paloma: Hmm, at least that nun gave us a lead on our hunt for the stolen paintings. She said they're rare and very important.

Simone: You don't really think we're going to find them, do you?

Paloma: Why not? We're two smart, independent women. We can do whatever we set our minds to. So of course, we can solve one little mystery.

Chad: Something happened to Whitney. We got to get her out of that convent, even if we have to kidnap her.

Ethan: Ok, wait, hold on, listen to yourself. You want to kidnap a novice from a religious order? Great. Then what do you want to do?

Chad: I don't know -- we -- we -- we take her some place safe, deprogram her. Ethan, we've got to protect her from whatever's trying to make her hurt herself.

Ethan: Chad, come off it. We're not going to kidnap Whitney.

Chad: Well, we can't leave her in there either, Ethan. What if she ends up dead? Ethan, you didn't see her. All right, you don't know. It's like she's been tortured or something. I mean, I saw her collapse with my own eyes.

Ethan: It's her choice to be there. There's nothing we can do to make her leave.

Chad: There has to be. Ethan, you're a lawyer, ok? There's got to be some legal way we could force Whitney out of there. Ethan, please you've got to help me get her out of there before it's too late.

Theresa: Come on, Whitney. Someone has got to make you see reason.

Whitney: Stop it.

Theresa: No, no, it's for your own good. Now, come on. Let's go, please.

Whitney: No, I don't want to go.

Theresa: It's just -- please --

Whitney: No, Theresa, leave me alone, please --

Theresa: No, you need to go to the mansion, and I got to feed you. Now, let's go.

Whitney: No, I am not going with you! I am a servant of God, and this is my home.

Theresa: Whitney -- come on.

Sheridan: I hate to hurt you. You don't know how much, but you need to accept what's happened.

Luis: Never. No, Sheridan, you love me. I know that you still love me.

Sheridan: No, Luis, I can't. I thought you were dead, and I thought our little boy was lost to me forever. James brought me back to life, and I opened up my heart to him. Then Chris came onto the scene, and one thing led to another, and I opened up my heart to him as well.

Luis: Yeah, Sheridan, that's because you were alone, and you were vulnerable, and you convinced yourself that you felt love for some other guy.

Luis: Sheridan, it's time for you to be honest with yourself, ok? Now, I don't know what you have with Chris, but I know that it is nothing compared to what we've had. Sheridan, we're magic, ok? Not just in this lifetime but in all our lifetimes.

Chris: Get your hands off my wife. She doesn't want to know about your life together.

Luis: You mean lives?

Chris: Whatever. Trust me, she remembers just as well as you do.

Luis: Actually, you better hope that she doesn't because if she does, she's going to realize that what you have is nothing compared to what we've had. Sheridan, you can't do this. You can't just throw our love away for some guy you barely even know. Listen to your heart. It's like you always told me.

Chris: You've said enough, pal.

Luis: Sheridan, come on. Life has played some sort of evil trick on us, ok? But you can't give it up. You can't just give it up for some complete stranger.

Sheridan: Please no.

Luis: Sheridan, come on --

Chris: Just leave her alone.

Luis: You know what, Chris? It's time that you did the right thing here, ok? It's time that you just -- you grant Sheridan a divorce so that she can be with the man that she loves, ok?

Chris: Sheridan?

Sheridan: I can't even think.

Luis: Sheridan, it's ok. It's all right, just you go ahead. Tell Chris it's ok. You're going to get a divorce so that we can finally be together so we can live the dream that you have always wanted.

Chris: Sheridan, what do you want to do?

Luis: I can see it in your eyes, Sheridan. I can see the love for me. I can see that you still hold the love for me that I've always held for you.

Chris: Just let her make up her own mind, would you?

Luis: Don't fight it, Sheridan. No matter what happens in this life or in any other life, we always find our way back to each other. That's just the way it is. Don't prolong the pain. Just do whatever it is that you have to do. If it's a divorce or an annulment, make it right. Come back to me, Sheridan.

Chris: Ok, you do what you want to do.

Sheridan: No, wait. Luis, we shared an incredible past together --

Luis: And future, Sheridan --

Sheridan: Luis, please. We have to believe that there's a reason, a plan for why things happen the way they do. You speak of God, of destiny. Well, so do I. And in this life and every other lifetime, we keep making the same mistake over and over --

Luis: I know, but we're going to make it --

Sheridan: No, Luis, please. We hurt each other, we break apart, come back together only to hurt each other again and again and again and again. Well, it's time one of us be strong enough to say enough is enough and move on. I hate to be that person, and I'm sorry, but I have moved on. I love this man, and I'm going to have his baby.

Luis: You don't know what you're saying, Sheridan.

Sheridan: I'm sorry, but I do. I loved you, Luis, so much. And when you died, my heart was broken -- I thought for good. But Chris helped me to heal. He helped me to move on, and you need to accept that. I'm going to have his baby, and I'm going to stay married to him.

Fancy: Noah. Noah.

Noah: Fancy. My princess.

Fancy: Oh, my prince. I can't believe I've been such a fool. How I love you.

Noah: Thee.

Fancy: Thee. Will thee makest love to me?

Noah: You got it, princess.

Fancy: Oh. Enough already!

Noah: What happened?

Maya: Nothing, just turbulence. Are you ok?

Noah: Yeah, why?

Maya: You were talking in your sleep.

Noah: What was I saying?

Maya: I couldn't really understand.

Noah: I was just dreaming. That dream will soon be a reality. Excuse me. Thanks.

Noah: There's, like, 20 people in line for the bathroom. I'm going to sneak over to first class.

Luis: You don't know what you're saying.

Sheridan: I'm sorry, Luis.

Luis: Sheridan, I -- I don't know what's going on. I don't know what he's done to make you say these things.

Chris: Just, you know, quit it, Luis. It's over. She's pregnant, for God's sake. Stop badgering her. She doesn't need to be put under this kind of stress.

Luis: You're making an enormous mistake, Sheridan.

Chris: What did I just say?

Luis: I don't want to badger her. You'll come to your senses. You just say the word.

Sheridan: Please, Luis, no more.

Luis: I can't do this anymore.

Chris: I know how hard this was for you.

Sheridan: No, you don't. You have no idea.

Chris: It was an impossible situation. It couldn't go on forever. You know that.

Sheridan: I've just broken his heart.

Chris: I know, but somebody's heart had to be broken. I love you, Sheridan, and I'm just grateful that you chose to stay with me and the baby. I don't have the words, but thank you.

Sheridan: Luis can't be alone at a time like this. God knows what he might do. I'm going to call his mother so that she can come and be with her son.

Paloma: I wish I knew more about art. These paintings are so beautiful.

Simone: That's not going to help us find them.

Paloma: Don't be so negative.

Simone: Come on, Paloma. These paintings have been missing for decades. Don't you think people a lot smarter than us have tried to find them?

Paloma: There you go again. Who is smarter than us?

Simone: Ok, thank you for the vote of confidence, but what makes you think that we're going to succeed in finding them when nobody else has?

Paloma: Fine, fine, maybe we'll fail, but that's no reason not to try.

Simone: Fine, so where do we start?

Paloma: Italy.

Simone: Italy.

Paloma: Uh-huh.

Simone: Ok, I know I am broke, and you make close to minimum wage upstairs at the cafe. We don't even have enough money for cheap plane tickets, much less -- I don't know -- food, hotels, stuff like that.

Paloma: Do you have to be such a spoilsport? If our cause is just, God will provide.

Simone: And now you sound like your mother.

Paloma: Good, good. Whatever else you have to say about my mother, she is a strong woman, and that's exactly what I want to be.

Simone: What are you doing?

Paloma: I want to see if there's something else here.

Simone: Oh, yeah, see if there's some first-class plane tickets to Italy.

Paloma: There's something here.

Simone: What? What have you found there?

Paloma: More of Alistair Crane's treasure.

Chad: Ethan, take this seriously, man. All right, I'm not flying off the handle here. Something's really wrong in that convent. We've got to get Whitney out of there.

Ethan: All right, look. If you want me to do something legally, I'll research it. This is not my kind of law, Chad, I'll have you know. But if you're sure that Whitney is exhibiting some delusional or psychotic behavior, maybe we can intervene medically through the courts, and we can get her hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation or something.

Chad: Perfect, perfect. Let's do it.

Ethan: Wait, wait, hold on. I said I would try to do this, but in the meantime, I want you to go there and convince her to try to leave voluntarily, Chad.

Chad: Ethan, I have tried, ok? She won't listen.

Ethan: Chad, try again. And after that, try again. Because maybe next time she'll listen, and if she won't, it will just validate that we've exhausted every other avenue before going to the courts, ok?

Chad: Fine. Fine, if you say so.

Ethan: Well, let's get something straight. If we decide to take legal action, it's going to be drastic. Once I start proceedings, there's no going back at all. Whitney's going to be furious. She -- she might hate you for a long time, even life, you know?

Chad: Well, if it will save her life, it's a chance I'm willing to take.

Ethan: All right, as long as you're sure. I'll go, and I'll try to draw up some papers, but please try to convince her to leave on her own, all right?

Chad: Ok, thank you.

Ethan: It's all right.

Chad: Ethan, listen, man, you -- you're a good man. I mean, even after what I tried to do to you for Theresa, you're helping me already.

Ethan: Forget about it. I'm not in the business of losing friends because of one stupid mistake, all right? Get out of here, go talk to her, ok?

Chad: Thank you.

Ethan: Hope we're not just stirring up a hornets' nest here.

Theresa: Whitney, are you ok?

Whitney: Go away. Go, go. Leave me alone. Go home. Go run your empire.

Theresa: Why -- why don't you just talk to me? Just tell me why you're hurting yourself like this.

Whitney: Because I'm a sinner, and God demands that I be punished.

Theresa: You're no sinner, Whitney -- no more than I am.

Whitney: Exactly, Theresa. You're as bad as I am. You need to stop chasing after Ethan -- a married man in our church. You need to move on with your life and make amends for your sins.

Theresa: Whitney, I love Ethan, and love is not a sin.

Whitney: You have the gall to say that to me? Love is the exact thing that's destroyed my life. Now, don't you see what your love for Ethan makes you? It makes you an adulteress, a temptress.

Theresa: A temptress?

Whitney: If you don't repent for your sins now, God will force you to repent later -- either in this life or in the fires of hell.

Theresa: Whitney, you're talking crazy here.

Whitney: No, no, no, see, you are crazy, and God punishes wicked women.

Theresa: It is not wicked to love, Whitney.

Whitney: Stop. Stop saying that because we are both sinners in the eyes of God. Repent now before God smites you, Theresa.

Flight attendant: Ladies and gentlemen, we're beginning our initial descent into Leonardo da Vinci airport in Rome.

Fancy: Mm, so soon.

Fancy: Mm, I can't wait to get into town and meet a beautiful Italian man who can make me forget all about that jerk Noah Bennett. I'll never have to think about that two-timer again.

Flight attendant: Sir, you'll have to return to your seat. We're preparing to land.

Noah: Ok, I'm just going to go to the bathroom.

Flight attendant: No, coach passengers are not allowed to use the first-class facilities. Now, please return to your seat.

Noah: Ok.

Flight attendant: Ladies and gentlemen, we've begun our final approach. Please fasten your seatbelts, close your tray tables, and bring your seats to their upright position.

Noah: I can't wait to finish this job in Italy so I can get back to Fancy.

Maya: So you've said.

Noah: Maya, don't start, all right? You're the one who got me in this mess to begin with. I only hope we can lead the FBI to this terrorist network so they can spring their trap, and we will be off the hook. Then I can get back to Fancy and beg her to forgive me. She'll understand. She has to.

Maya's voice: First things first, Noah. Let's hope we're still alive to return home.

Simone: Have you never heard of a hairpin?

Paloma: Who carries hairpins nowadays?

Simone: Is it open?

Paloma: Just about. Madre Santa.

Paloma: You wanted plane tickets to Italy? Now we can hire a private jet.

Simone: How much is in here?

Paloma: I don't know. I don't think I can count that high.

Simone: Ok, why would Alistair Crane hide a secret stash of cash down here in this moldy basement?

Paloma: Who knows? It's Alistair Crane. Next stop, Italy.

Theresa: I wish I had a tape recorder so I could play back what you're saying to me. Whitney, you're not well. I'm taking you out of here right now. And your mom, she's going to make arrangements for you. She's going to make medical arrangements.

Whitney: No, never. I'm not going anywhere with you because you're a sinner.

Theresa: God, Whitney --

Whitney: Don't you use his name in vain! This is God's house. Now, get out! Get out of here before God sends his fiery messenger to take you to hell!

Chad: Theresa.

Theresa: Oh, my God. I'm so happy to see you. It's Whitney. She's like a madwoman.

Chad: Oh, my God.

Theresa: I think she's insane, Chad, because I tried to talk to her and she wouldn't listen to me. We need to get her out of here before we lose her forever.

Man: My child.

Whitney: You've returned, my Lord. You won't believe what just happened.

Man: I hear all, Whitney. What a fine job you did tonight, repelling the devil. Take my hand, child. We have much to do.

Whitney: Where are we going?

Man: Rome.

Sheridan: I called Pilar so that she can come as soon as possible.

Chris: I'm sure she can cheer him up.

Sheridan: No, Luis needs more than cheering up. I might have just ruined his life. I'm going to go check on him, make sure he's ok.

Chris: Sheridan, no. Just give him some time. Frankly, you are the last person he needs to see right now.

Sheridan: He needs me. I'm worried about him. I just want to make sure that he's ok.

Sheridan: Luis.

Luis: You're my life, Sheridan. Without you, I have nothing.

Sheridan: That's not true.

Luis: Yeah, it is. You should've just left me in Hawaii. You should've just left me to die.

On the Next Passions:

Chad: Whitney is missing. We're going to search every inch of this place until we find her.

Man: You are embarking on a great adventure.

Sheridan: I love you.

Luis: You do?
