Pilar: What a beautiful day. Thank you, God, thank you for making today, the day I renew my wedding vows, such a beautiful day. I feel like everything's alive. Maybe it's just me.

Martin: Morning.

Pilar: Oh, Martin. What are you doing? You know you're not supposed to see me today before the ceremony. That's why I didn't go into our bedroom last night.

{[Knock on door]

Pilar: Martin, answer me. You're not already asleep, are you?

Martin: No. I'm not. Hide.

Katherine: No, Martin. It's time that Pilar find this out before the ceremony tomorrow. }

Martin: You know, I'm sorry, I--I know it's bad luck to see your bride on the big day, but I had to before all the guests arrive.

Pilar: Why? Oh, don't tell me you've changed your mind about renewing our wedding vows.

Gwen: Honey, it has been years since I've been on an interview.

Ethan: Yes, but you have an M.B.A., you have years of corporate experience, you have great references--oh, and by the way--you're a brilliant woman, so you're going to be overqualified for any position those people can give you.

Gwen: Oh, honey, I hope so, because, you know, this--this is very important to me. It's very important for all 3 of us.

Ethan: Hey.

Gwen: Oh.

Ethan: I am sorry that you have to be the one going back to the 9-to-5 grind. I wish it was me, but until Theresa releases me from my contract, Gwen--

Gwen: Which might be never.

Ethan: She has me in a box. I can't work anywhere else without her say-so, so you, my dear, are our only hope. And I hate this. I really hate this. I'm sorry.

Gwen: Honey, it's ok, really. I truly do not mind going back to work, especially if it means that we never, ever have to cross swords with Theresa again.

Theresa: Collier. Theresa Crane. Good morning. And it is a lovely morning. I assume you got the contract that I faxed to you?

Mr. Collier: Yes. It's extremely generous and I'm very grateful.

Theresa: How grateful?

Mr. Collier: Well, I would be happy to offer Mrs. Winthrop a position. What would you like her to do, something entry-level?

Theresa: Oh, Lord no. No, no, no, you--you don't want to insult her. Offer her the best position that you have.

Mr. Collier: Well, I have a vice presidency of acquisitions opening up.

Theresa: Perfect. See, Gwen is very good at going after things that she wants. And she loves to work, so don't hesitate to give her lots and lots of overtime. You keep her busy, ok? You won't regret it.

Chris: Aloha, Mrs. Boothe.

Sheridan: Hmm, Sheridan Boothe. Hmm, I like it. I can't believe we got married last night.

Chris: It's ok, isn't it? I know most women want to plan their weddings for months and months.

Sheridan: Oh, hush. It was so romantic. I married the man that I love with all my heart on the most spectacular beach in paradise. Any girl would give her eyeteeth for such an incredible wedding. My heart's almost full. The only thing that would make it complete is to find Marty and bring him home and be a real family with James.

[Birds chirp]

Chris: Well, seems like the birds are up.

Sheridan: Well, time to get up. I want to get to that house before Otto has a chance to escape with Marty.

Chris: Sheridan, wait. I've been thinking. I should go alone.

Sheridan: Not a chance. Marty is my son. I'm going with you.

Chris: Sheridan, we've talked about this before. Your father hires cold-blooded killers. This could be extremely dangerous, and I don't want to take any chances with my new bride's life.

Sheridan: I can take care of myself.

Chris: Please, Sheridan. If anything happens to me when I try to rescue Marty, I want you to take him home and raise him with James as a brother. Our sons need at least one parent alive and well.

Sheridan: If you think I'm just going to sit back and wait while you risk your life, you don't know me very well, Mr. Boothe. We're going together and we are coming out alive with my son...with our son. So enough chitchat! Let's get a move on!

Chris: I had a feeling you were going to say that, Sheridan. You leave me no choice.

Pilar: Martin, answer me. I mean, after all the promises you made me, are you having doubts about renewing our vows?

Martin: No, not at all. I've committed myself to our family.

Pilar: And to me, right, and to our marriage?

Martin: Yes.

Pilar: I'm--I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Forgive me, ok, I just--well, I've looked forward to this day for so long. But, you know, I've had so much disappointment in my life, so it's--it's kind of easy for me to think of the worst. I should just trust in God's love, right, and in yours. Oh, my Martin. Oh, God, isn't this exciting? I have to tell you that I am as excited today as I was the first time I married you all those years ago. And honestly, in--well, in my mind, I still feel 18, even though the rest of me has changed.

Martin: Hey, you haven't changed. You're as beautiful today as the day we first met.

Pilar: Yeah, well, thank you very much for that kind lie. But, well, forget about me, ok? What did you want?

Martin: To see if you're still as committed to renewing our vows as I am.

Pilar: Do you really need to ask that, huh? Hmm. I love you.

Martin: What is it?

Katherine: I don't mean to intrude.

Pilar: Oh, no, don't you?

Martin: No, please, Pilar--

Pilar: No, it's no matter, ok? You know that my husband and I are going to renew our vows later today, and it's a very happy day and we have a lot do, so I really, really would appreciate it if you didn't interfere.

Martin: No, come on, don't start--

Pilar: I don't--

Martin: Not today.

Pilar: Martin, I'm not being rude. I know you still live here, even though you're no longer married to my daughter's husband, but considering what's going to take place here later today, I would think that you would find a better place to go. Right? I mean, it would be awkward for you to be here for the ceremony.

Katherine: Yes. Yes, it would. Well, I have something very important to do and very little time to do it, and so I should go.

Martin: No, this your home.

Pilar: No.

Martin: You don't have to go.

Pilar: Martin, let her go. She's made it very clear that she still wants you back. It must be difficult for her to realize that it's over between you two, that you're committed to me and to our marriage.

Martin: Of course, but I--I wouldn't want to cause Katherine any more--

Pilar: No. Then it's settled.

Gwen: Well, how do I look?

Ethan: Wow. You look like a million bucks.

Gwen: Well, from your lips to God's ears, because we could certainly use a million bucks.

Ethan: You are going to blow them away at this interview.

Gwen: Oh, I hope so.

[Jane babbles] Oh, my girl. My princess. Oh, I'm going to miss you, but your mama's not going to be gone forever, I promise, promise, promise. You know, I'm not going to have the chance to feed her this morning. I'm going to be late for the interview.

Ethan: I can feed her.

Gwen: Yeah, but--aw.

Ethan: What? What is it?

Gwen: Honey, I love the time I get to spend with her every morning feeding her when we both wake up, and if I accept this job, I'm not going to get to do that. I'm going to be rushing around crazy getting ready for work every morning.

Ethan: Ok, look, I have an idea. It's not like I'm not doing anything today, right? So why don't I drive you to your interview, and that way you can give Jane her bottle in the car.

Gwen: You are a brilliant man. No wonder I love you so much.

Ethan: Well...

Gwen: Oh, honey, that's a great idea. And please keep your fingers crossed that I get this job, because then we can get our own place, lock the doors, and never let Theresa in.

Ethan: That would be good.

Gwen: Hmm.

Ethan: Hi.

Mr. Collier: You're sure Mrs. Winthrop can commit to a high-powered job with long hours?

Theresa: Oh, pile on the work, yes. Oh, Collier, it's--it's a very sad story, actually. See, she's in a sham of a marriage. Ok, her husband, he doesn't really love her and I just know that she wants to stay busy, you know, keep her mind off of him. So don't be shy about asking her.

Mr. Collier: I'm never shy when I'm interviewing prospective workers. Now, didn't you say that Mrs. Winthrop had a baby not long ago?

Theresa: She stole a baby.

Mr. Collier: Excuse me? What kind of nut job do you want me to hire?

Theresa: Forgive me. Oh, so sorry. That didn't come out right. Well, you know, what I meant to say is that Gwen Winthrop recently took legal custody of a child--and it's not her baby--and I know how committed Gwen is to having a career, so I suspect that very soon she's going to lose interest in that child and she will give her back to her rightful mother. So all the more reason to pile on the work.

Mr. Collier: Mrs. Crane, you're making me very nervous here. I'm not comfortable with this.

Theresa: What I am paying you, Collier, should make you feel plenty comfortable. Do your job. Hmm.

Sheridan: Isn't this exciting? I'm about to see my little boy.

Chris: It'll be a day you never forget.

Sheridan: We have to be careful when we rescue Marty. We don't want to frighten him. I'm so afraid he might not remember me.

Chris: Don't worry, you're his mother. You've got a bond. I'm sure he'll quickly realize that you only want to love him.

Sheridan: I hope so. I can't wait to hold him. I may never let him go. I just wish we could call the police.

Chris: You know we can't do that.

Sheridan: I know. Anyone could be on my father's payroll, including people in this hotel.

Chris: Look, the fewer people who know what we're about to do, the better.

[Door opens]

Sheridan: Have you seen my hand lotion? Oh, there it is.

Chris: Sheridan?

Sheridan: What?

Chris: For the last time, stay here where it's safe. This is dangerous. Let me handle this.

Sheridan: Look, I promised to love and honor, not obey. We're doing this together, end of story.

Chris: I was afraid you were going to say that.

[Chris sighs]

Chris: That should keep Sheridan out of trouble.

Pilar: Stop. We're acting like two teenagers. But we should get busy, sweetie. There's a lot to do.

Martin: Well, where do we start?

Man: Pilar?

Pilar: Oh, hi, Edward.

Edward: How do you want us to set up the chairs?

Pilar: Um, well, let's see. The wedding planner said that Father Lonigan was going to be standing there, so I guess, you know, alongside, like that.

Maid: You must be so excited, Pilar. Just think, in a few hours you're going to say "I do" again.

Pilar: I know, I can't wait. And neither can Martin. Right, Martin?

Martin: No.

[Pilar laughs]

{Katherine: Don't lie to me, Martin. Don't lie to yourself. You're renewing these vows because you feel guilty because you left her years ago.

Martin: Of course I feel guilty. }

Pilar: Hey. You look like you're a million miles away.

Martin: Me?

Pilar: Yeah.

Martin: No, no, I'm right here, with you. I always will be.

Pilar: Good. You don't know how much I love to hear you say that. But listen, since you're here, let's start working.

Martin: Right away, boss.

Pilar: Come on.

[Monitor beeping]

Katherine: What a wreck you are. I can't tell you how it warms my heart to see you so ill, Alistair. So, I brought you some pansies. Can you see? Oh, of course you can't. You know, pansies, they come from the French word "pensee," which means "thought." So if someone brings you pansies, it means they're thinking of you. And I have to keep thinking of you, Alistair, to refuel my anger. I need my anger. My anger is the only thing that's going to give me courage for what I must do. So I needed to see you, to remind myself of the horrible things you've done. I let you rob me of my innocence! When I ran away with Martin, I was like a beaten, terrified little animal. But Martin, he taught me how to live again. It was Martin. Did you hear me, Alistair? I said Martin! He gave me back my joy, my love, all my optimism--everything. And now Pilar... she might take it all away. I won't let her do it. I can't let her do it. I must stop her, and I will stop her.

Gwen: Oh, that's my good girl. Oh, that was such a good burp. Thank you. I have to go and talk to the nice man now.

Ethan: Yeah.

Gwen: Here, let me give this to you. Oh, what a--oh, my God.

Ethan: What?

Gwen: Honey, she spit up on me.

Ethan: No.

Gwen: She spit up on me.

Ethan: Oh, that's--that's lovely.

Gwen: I can't go in the interview like this. What am I going to do?

Ethan: Hold, hold--

Gwen: Ok, sweet pea. Oh, that's my girl. Aren't you a good girl? Help me, help me.

Theresa: That is my baby. You throw up on her every day that you can.

Ethan: You have a scarf or something, you can hide it?

Gwen: Yeah, yeah. Actually, yes, that's a good idea. It's on my bag. My girl. Ok. It's going to be ok.

Ethan: Ok, all right, here we go.

Gwen: Ok, just throw it right over like that.

Ethan: That's really pretty, just like that, yeah.

Gwen: Let me do it. Here, let it hang--there.

Ethan: I'm a man. I don't know, ok?

Gwen: No, it's stylish. It's good, ok?

Ethan: You look great, you look great.

Gwen: Ok, here, take this princess.

Ethan: Come here, sweetie.

Gwen: Thank you. Ok.

Ethan: Oh, yes.

Gwen: Ok, ready. Wish me luck.

Ethan: You don't need luck. You got beauty, you got brains. Go knock him out.

Gwen: Thank you.

Ethan: Ok.

Receptionist: Good morning. Sorry to keep you waiting.

Gwen: Good morning. Would you please tell Mr. Collier that Gwen Winthrop is here to see him?

Receptionist: Of course. Ms. Winthrop is here for you, Mr. Collier. Thanks. He'll see you right away. Go on in.

Gwen: Thank you.

Ethan: Go get him.

Gwen: Bye.

Ethan: Whew. Hi. Uh, is it ok if I wait out here?

Receptionist: Oh, sure.

Ethan: Thank you.

Receptionist: Cute baby.

Ethan: Oh, thank you. Yeah, she's a cutie, huh? Yeah, you're a cutie. All right, let's think good thoughts for Mommy, ok? Think good thoughts. We need this job. We need it.

Receptionist: It's just adorable to see you there, taking such good care of the baby. Hmm, keep up the good work, Mr. Mom.

[Receptionist laughs]

Gwen: Well, it is a true pleasure to meet you, sir. I've heard excellent things about you and your company over the years.

Mr. Collier: Well, thank you for coming in on such short notice.

Gwen: It's my pleasure.

Mr. Collier: So you'll sit down, please?

Gwen: Thank you.

Mr. Collier: Your resume is truly impressive.

Gwen: Thank you, um, although I'm a bit curious, Mr. Collier. I didn't send one in. How did you receive it?

Mr. Collier: Um, aren't you working with a headhunter?

Gwen: Yes, I did speak to one.

Mr. Collier: Then he must have sent it. Now, I--I see here at your previous firm, you worked with a lot of impressive mergers. I must say I could use that kind of expertise around here.

Theresa: Yep, that's the stuff. Feed her the soft soap. Make her want to work for you, and then work her to death so that I can move in and get Ethan and my daughter back.

Chris: Can you take me up to the coast road? I'll show you where to stop.

Driver: Ok, boss.

Sheridan: Did you forget me?

Chris: Sheridan.

Sheridan: What the hell do you think you're doing?

Chris: How did you get out of the bathroom?

Sheridan: The window. I broke it. You're going to have to pay to replace it. I didn't know I married such an overbearing oaf who expects me to just sit home and smile while he's out conquering the world.

Chris: That's not it and you know it. I love you. I just don't want you to get hurt.

Sheridan: And I don't want you to get hurt, either. But we are married now, man and wife. We're partners. I'm not just going to huddle back in the cave, you got it?

Chris: Got it.

Driver: People, are we going anywhere today?

Sheridan and Chris: Yes.

Chris: Come on, Mrs. Boothe. Let's go and save your son.

Pilar: Oh, yes, I know--one more thing, Edward. Make sure there's a big wastebasket behind the bar because the guests always seem to leave the remains of the hors d'oeuvres everywhere and it gets so messy.

Edward: I know, Pilar. You're the one that trained me in the first place, remember?

Pilar: Oh, you're absolutely right. I am so sorry. I'm so nervous, I don't even know what I'm saying. Thank you. Oh, my God, look at the time. Martin, we have to hurry up, ok? Father Lonigan's going to be here any minute to go over the service and what prayers to choose, so we need to get dressed.

Martin: Fine, yeah.

Pilar: I will use my old room and you can use the room right next to that, ok?

Martin: Oh, I'm sorry, sweetheart, I left my tux at home. I'll have to go back and get it.

Pilar: Ok, well, hurry, Martin. Hey. I am so happy. So very happy.

Martin: It'll be wonderful.

Pilar: Yes, it will be.

Martin: This is a big day for you.

Pilar: For us, sweetheart, for us. Oh, I love you so much. The next time I see you, it will be to become man and wife again.

Martin: I'll be back soon.

Pilar: Ok. Please hurry. Oh. God, with your help, this will be the most beautiful day of my life, and nothing will ruin it. Nothing.

[Monitor beeps]

Katherine: Whatever sort of monster you are, you are strong. I wished I'd been strong like you long ago, or Rachel. But I guess I was married to you all those years, I picked up a thing or two about manipulating people. So if I use what I learn, I do know how to get what I want. But I just hate resorting to this behavior. But I can't give up Martin. Hmm, Mother. You certainly wouldn't approve of me being the other woman. But I don't feel like I am the other woman anymore. Now I feel like Pilar is the other woman. Martin and I were together as husband and wife in our hearts for so many years and so happy, so much longer than Pilar. Oh, I know people are going to disapprove. They're going to sneer and they're going to whisper, "oh, you stole Pilar's husband." Even Sheridan. She hates this. I know she says she'd be neutral, but I can tell. She can't bear the thought that I might hurt Pilar. And I understand that. Oh, I hate you, Alistair! This is all your fault, old man! Your evil started this! I deserve every bit of happiness I can get in this life! Oh, Pilar. If you had only found another man, if you had moved on with your life. If I can just get through to you, convince you that Martin is still in love with me, you would give him up. No woman wants to be involved with a man who's in love with another woman.

Alistair's voice: [Laughs]

Katherine: What? I'm starting to hear things. I thought you were laughing at me.

[Sighs] I can do this. I must do this. Now I don't have to protect Sheridan anymore because she knows she didn't kill anyone when she was a child. So I have nothing to lose and everything to gain if I'm just true to my heart... and ignore my conscience. If I were a true Crane, I wouldn't think twice about taking what didn't belong to me. But Martin does belong to me. I am going to reclaim everything you stole from me in my whole life--everything! Oh, God. God, please me help me find the strength. Please help me find the strength I need.

Alistair's voice: Katherine, you deluded, self-serving fool. You have an excuse for everything. You always have. Fine, fine, blame me for every little thing that's gone wrong in your pointless life. But don't kid yourself that what you're about to do is right. It's not.

Katherine: I will get Martin back. I've been robbed of so much in this life. And I have to make the most of the life that's left to me.

Alistair's voice: [Laughs] How funny. I never realized behind that genteel facade, you're as grasping and as selfish as I am. Shall we face the facts, hmm? You are the other woman. You are stealing another woman's husband. Should you find the nerve to implement your plan, the whole world will see you for what you truly are--a man-stealing, two-timing slut.

Katherine: Are you there? I swear I heard you laughing at me.

Alistair's voice: [Laughs] I can't help it, you idiot, you liar! You good-for-nothing whore. You spout that drivel about my evil? You're as bad as I am!

Katherine: No, no. You can't hear me. You're in a coma. I know you are.

Alistair's voice: Thanks for the flowers, honey. I'll see you in hell!

Otto: Make sure our guests are in the car. I want them out of here before Alistair's daughter and her new husband show up here.

Man: Right away, Mr. Krause.

Otto: After all these years, time to leave. Oh, I really don't want to blow up this lovely house-- and everyone in it.

Sheridan: Try to keep a low profile. Otherwise, Father's security cameras might pick us up.

Chris: The house is just on the other side of this wall. If anything happens to me--

Sheridan: It won't.

Chris: If it does, please, Sheridan, remember I love you, will always love you. Take care of the boys.

Sheridan: Look, would you listen to me, Mr. Boothe? We are going in there, we are getting Marty, and we're going home to the life that I've always dreamed of, safe. Do you hear me?

Chris: Yes, Mrs. Boothe.

Sheridan: What was that?

Chris: Look, the gate's opening.

Sheridan: Oh, no. Maybe they're on to us and they're trying to escape. We've got to get in there and get Marty.

Man: Everybody's up and ready. I opened the gates.

Otto: Good. Get everybody in the car.

Lenny: Too late. Sheridan and Chris are already on their way here. We saw them in the monitors.

Otto: Damn it! Close the gates and lock this place up tight.

Man: Got it. Let's go.

[Otto sighs]

Sheridan: What was that?

Chris: Damn it, they're on to us! They must have spotted us with the cameras.

Sheridan: What do we do? No, my baby's in there. We've got to get inside!

Receptionist: You two must have some marriage.

Ethan: What do you mean?

Receptionist: Only good things. The missus is in there interviewing for a big job, and you're willing to stay home and take care of the baby. Not too many men have strong enough egos to let their wives support them.

Ethan: Yeah, well, you know, we're a team and you do what you have to do... and I'm going to get a job soon, anyway, somehow.

Receptionist: And then the wife will stay home with the baby?

[Laughs] Right. Ahem. Good luck with that. You be a good girl, cutie, yes.

Ethan: Now, why does she act like she's never seen a man take care of a baby before?

Mr. Collier: If I give you this position, is the salary acceptable?

Gwen: Yes, Mr. Collier, it's very generous.

Mr. Collier: Good. Here's a summary of benefits.

Gwen: Ok. Oh, my goodness. Excuse me. You caught me. The baby spit up on me a little bit and I didn't have time to change. Excuse me.

Mr. Collier: Are you sure you can handle this job? You'd be under the gun here. It's long hours, and with a baby at home--

Gwen: Mr. Collier, my husband will be staying home with our baby. I assure you I will be able to report for duty every morning with a clear conscience.

Mr. Collier: Well, you might be traveling, and, you know, you might as well forget about weekends for about a couple of years.

Gwen: It's ok. My husband is a wonderful father, I'm a wonderful worker.

Mr. Collier: Well, good. Then welcome aboard, Mrs. Winthrop.

Gwen: Well, thank you very much, Mr. Collier. Please call me Gwen.

Mr. Collier: All right.

Gwen: I'm looking forward to working for you.

Mr. Collier: Gwen, I want you to get down to human resources and sign all the necessary papers. That's on the third floor.

Gwen: Ok, absolutely. When would you like me to start?

Mr. Collier: Well, um, ordinarily, I'd give you a few days, but we're in a bit of a crunch now, and could you start right now?

Gwen: Right now, today?

Mr. Collier: That's not a problem, is it?

Gwen: No, absolutely not. Like I said, I'm a hard worker. I'd be happy to prove it.

Mr. Collier: Well, good. So, I want you to get cracking.

Gwen: Ok.

Mr. Collier: I want you to analyze the assets of these companies and give me a projection from now and, say, 5 years, and then 10 years hence.

Theresa: Very nice performance, Mr. Collier! You may already be due for a bonus.

Pilar: Shame on you, Theresa. What kind of a daughter have I raised? Didn't you tell me that you changed your mind about bribing Mr. Collier? What do you think you're doing?

Mr. Collier: And I've got some more reports here for you, as well, and if you could check these over for me, I'd appreciate it.

[Jane fusses]

Ethan: It's ok, it's ok. Yeah, Mommy's going to be back real soon...I hope. Hey.

Gwen: Hi.

Ethan: How'd it go?

Gwen: Look at all this stuff, honey. I got the job. I got it.

Ethan: That's--that's great.

Gwen: Yeah.

Ethan: Congratulations. That, um--

Gwen: Thank you.

Ethan: Wow. Hey, let's go to lunch. Lobster Shack, my treat.

Gwen: Oh, honey, I would love to, but Mr. Collier wants me to start today, like right this very minute. I mean, look at all this stuff. He wants me to research these files. I haven't even been down to H.R. to fill out my paperwork yet.

Ethan: Wow, um, that's--that's quick.

Gwen: Yeah.

Ethan: That's ok--that's ok. Wow, I am so proud of you, so proud of you.

Gwen: Thank you.

[Jane cries]

Ethan: Oh, sweetie--

Gwen: Aw.

Ethan: It's ok. Shh, shh, shh. It's ok.

Gwen: My sweet girl, it's ok. Oh, Mama's girl. She's ok.

[Crying stops]

Ethan: How did you do that?

Gwen: You will be fine, sweetheart. As soon as you spend some more time one on one with her, you'll know exactly what to do.

Ethan: Well, I know she's ready to go home. Are you ready to go home? How--how late?

Gwen: Oh, honey, I don't know. It could be really late. Don't count me in for dinner, ok?

Ethan: Ok. Um, ok, no problem. You know what? This little girl and I, we're going to do a day out on the town. We're going to go to the aquarium, we're going to look at some baby sharks. We're going to have a good old time, right?

Gwen: You know you're the most wonderful, wonderful man in the whole wide world? Ok, bye, honey. Wish me luck.

Ethan: Ok.

Theresa: "Bye-bye, honey, wish me luck"! What do you think I'm doing, Mama? That marriage? That marriage is doomed.

Pilar: Oy, Theresa. You're doing this today? Of all days, huh? Como es posible? Tu tienes una oportunidad para hacer bien en la vida con esta halta posicion y lo unico que pienzas en tu egoismo, Theresa!

Theresa: Mama, I--

Pilar: Don't "Mama" me! Have you lost your mind? Have you? Ethan and Gwen are married, and they have a real marriage, not the mockery of the sacrament you and Alistair did. They love each other, Theresa, and here you are trying to split them up. And you're using Alistair's hidden cameras to spy on them while you're enjoying yourself? Oh, my God, you are no better than Alistair. You truly are Mrs. Alistair Crane.

Theresa: No, I am nothing like Alistair, Mama.

Pilar: Listen to yourself. Listen to yourself! Let me tell you something, Theresa--power corrupts the soul.

Theresa: I am the same woman that I've always been.

Pilar: Then I don't like that woman.

Theresa: I'm trying to get back what was stolen from me, Mama... my daughter, the man that I love, who loves me.

Theresa: You just never give up, do you? Father Lonigan is going to be here soon. Please talk to him.

Theresa: No, I'm not going to talk to Father Lonigan. And you can't say a word of this to anyone.

Pilar: Como es posible, Theresa? After everything that you've witnessed? You saw how I lost your father to Katherine. And I would think that you would have some--I don't know, some empathy, Theresa. How can you do this to another woman?

Theresa: Gwen is not another woman, Mama. She's a conniving witch. And my situation is very, very different than yours.

Pilar: Uh-uh. You are blind.

Theresa: No, I'm not blind. Ethan loves me. He tells me that he loves me. He just doesn't know how to get rid of the millstone around his neck. And I am giving him the opportunity to leave Gwen so that he can be happy with the woman that he really loves!

Pilar: Yeah, you, right? You call a spade a spade, Mrs. Crane. The bottom line is you're stealing another woman's husband, and it's shameful and it is a sin!

Theresa: When a thief steals your purse and you have the chance to steal it back, you do it. Gwen stole Ethan and my daughter from me, and I'm not going to stop until I get them both back.

[Martin sighs]

Martin: Can I really go through with it? Katherine. What are you doing?

Katherine: We're alone, Martin. There's no need to lie now. Oh, darling, make love to me. Make love to me.

Otto: Seal this place up tight. Make sure our guests are secure.

Man: Got it.

Otto: I may have to blow them all to kingdom come.

Sheridan: Chris, we've got to get in there.

Chris: They're on to us.

Sheridan: I don't care. My son is in there. We can't stop now.

Chris: Well, stay here. I'll go in alone.

Sheridan: No, you don't listen to me. We are doing this together. We don't have time to argue. Look!

Chris: Come on!

On the Next Passions:

Pilar: I just feel like everything is going to be just snatched away from me.

Kay: I had a dream... a dream about Miguel.

Chris: Sheridan? You can't be dead.
