Noah: Fancy. Fancy. I'm so sorry. This terrible thing that happened was--was all my fault. I guess I thought if I ignored what happened in my past, it wasn't going to able to affect us. I sure as hell never thought you'd be hurt by it. I love you, and I know that you want me to tell you all about my past with Maya. I'm not really sure if you can hear me right now, but I just have to get it out. You already know most of it. I mean, how I sailed through college thinking nothing could touch me. I used to fool myself. Then I met Maya and everything changed. I mean she really threw me for a loop. So did everything that happened after that.
Theresa: Mm! Well, hmm, Mr. Alistair Crane, I must say you are one repulsive pig. And I do hope you die before you come out of that coma, but in the meantime I am enjoying everything that you left your darling wife. Yeah, I think I'm understanding the meaning of power now. And I've got it in spades. I can make sure that my mother and father have a wonderful ceremony to renew their vows and live happily ever after, and I can make sure that Gwen accepts the job that I set up for her... a job I know she wants, since I made sure that Ethan can't get his own job. Then once Gwen is buried in her work, she's gonna neglect Ethan. He's gonna turn to me. Then Ethan and I, Jane, and little Ethan will finally be a family the way we were meant to be.
Gwen: Ok, so I think this is the perfect outfit, right? I really want to make a good impression on Mr. Collier, and I think this is good because it's not too businesslike and stuffy, but it's not too frilly or feminine.
Ethan: Honey, I--I think that is just right.
Gwen: Ok, good, me, too, you know? I hope. And I really wish that you would be happy for me because this is such a fantastic job opportunity. You know, and since Theresa's holding you to your contract at Crane, you can't work anywhere else right now. It's really, really good that this opportunity came around for me.
Ethan: I know, and you're right.
Gwen: I know that you're upset I won't be here with Jane every day--
Ethan: I--I just assumed I would be going to work and you would be staying here with the kids. That's all.
Gwen: Oh, honey, I assumed the same thing, but it's not gonna happen, just--just not right now. You know, it's not like I'm going to work so we can indulge in wild trips to Bora Bora and bathe ourselves in Cristal.
Ethan: I know this. I know. You're actually gonna be putting food on the table and putting clothes on our backs.
Gwen: Yes, but it's not going to be forever, and, you know, once Theresa realizes she can't bully you into working for her, she'll back off. She'll let you out of your contract, and then you can find a wonderful job somewhere in this world where she can't touch us.
Ethan: Do you really think that she will ever back off? She is obsessed with the idea of being with me, you know this?
Gwen: You don't need to tell me that, which, honey, is why I really, really am hoping I get this job, ok? Because if I don't, you're going to have no choice but to go and work for Theresa, and that would be horrible.
Pilar: Martin. Martin, are you asleep already?
Martin: No, I'm not. Hide.
Katherine: [Whispers] No, Martin. She needs to know about us before tomorrow's ceremony. No, I won't.
Pilar: Dios mio.
Martin: Pilar, wait.
Pilar: No, don't open the door.
Martin: What, I need to talk to you.
Pilar: I can't even look at you.
Martin: Pilar, please listen to me. I--we need to have a chance to talk. I can explain.
Pilar: No--no, Martin, don't, don't. I just realized that it's past midnight, which means today is the day of our ceremony. We can't see each other, it's bad luck.
Martin: That's right. I completely forgot, but, you know, honey, what are you doing back home at this hour?
Pilar: I--I forgot my wedding shoes.
Martin: I see. Yeah, but you could have called. You know, I would have brought them to you at the mansion tomorrow.
Pilar: Oh, well, I--I guess I didn't think of that. That's not true. I missed you. I missed your voice. I wanted to hear it.
Martin: It's good to hear your voice, too, but, honey, where are those shoes? You know, I'll go get them for you.
Pilar: They're in my closet on the top shelf. They're in a white box.
Martin: Ok. You know what, just stay right there. I'll be right back. Don't.
Katherine: [Whispers] Ok.
Martin: Are these the ones?
Pilar: Yes. Perfect. Thank you.
Martin: You're welcome.
Pilar: Well, I guess I better go. It's kind of late, huh? Martin, put your lips to the door. I want to kiss you good night.
Martin: Come on, that--that's silly.
Pilar: Come on. Good night, mi vida. I love you.
Martin: I love you, too.
Theresa: Well, when Gwen starts her new job and Ethan stays at home taking care of our child, that is where the real fun is going to begin because Gwen is going to call Ethan and say, "oh, I'm too busy at work, I can't make it home for dinner." Then she's going to start working weekends, and Ethan, he's going to start to feel like he's second fiddle to her new job, maybe even third fiddle. And then Gwen--she's going to be too tired to even make love to Ethan. I tried everything that I could to force Ethan to leave Gwen and come back to me and nothing worked. This way, Gwen is going to hand Ethan to me, all the better.
Gwen: Oh, I did not mean to sound demeaning.
Ethan: Don't apologize. You don't have to, you're right. You know, if--if you don't go to work, I might have to work for Theresa.
Gwen: Oh, let's please hope it doesn't come to that.
Ethan: I don't think it will come to that. Collier is lucky to get you, and I should be thanking you for going to work to support Jane and me.
Gwen: Are you sure? Because I know you're pretty upset about this.
Ethan: I've just been letting my fragile male ego get bruised a bit, and I haven't been appreciating what you're doing.
Gwen: Listen, I know that we're both a little--a little tired, little frustrated with this whole thing, but we need to stick together on this to present a united front, ok?
Ethan: I completely agree with you, but--but one day, one day very soon, I will return to my position as the breadwinner and you will stay at home with the kids, ok?
Gwen: Yes. Yes, absolutely. So let's--let's make a deal, ok? I'm going to work for now, and then I'm going to step back, and you're going to support us, and I'm going to eat bon bons forever, deal?
Ethan: Deal. Come here. I'm lucky to have you.
Noah: So I was, you know, the big man on campus because of my reputation of playing cards. Texas hold 'em was just taking off, and I always won. There was plenty of girls around, but then I met Maya. Well, she was being beat up by her jerk boyfriend, and I stepped in. It turns out that Maya's actually from Harmony. Her mother is Sally Chinn, the woman who owns that Chinese noodle restaurant down on the wharf. Well, we'd never met each other before--I mean before we went away to the same college. Anyway, so after I did my knight in shining armor bit, and we got to talking and realized we were from the same town. We could tell that there was a definite attraction there between us. I could also tell that she was holding something back. She had some kind of secret. Anyway, so all I could get out of her was that she hooked up with some bad people and she was running. I tried to help, but I couldn't. I'm just not the invincible force I thought I was. So one night we were--we were out somewhere we shouldn't have been and we were in the wrong place at the wrong time, and we saw something. We saw someone who--
Maya: Noah, you can't tell her anything.
Noah: Maya, I have to tell Fancy the truth. I can't keep putting this off.
Maya: Noah, you can't tell her anything.
Noah: She deserves to know the truth, ok? Maya, she deserves to know why she's in danger.
Maya: Noah, look at her, she's not even conscious. She's not even hearing anything you tell her.
Noah: Great. So then what's the harm in my telling her?
Maya: If you care for that girl, you won't tell her anything about the past. What she doesn't know can't hurt her.
Noah: Ok, I've had enough of this. Come on.
Theresa: Yeah, this is gonna work. Once it does, all my dreams will come true. Ethan, what is it--what's wrong?
Ethan: It's me. No, it's me--it's Gwen and me. No, it's Gwen and me and our marriage; it's completely falling apart.
Theresa: It's falling apart, really?
Theresa: Oh, what happened?
Ethan: The job is what happened, the job. I mean, she--she leaves early. She comes home late. She doesn't have time to cook dinner. She doesn't cook anything, I mean nothing. She has time for nothing.
Theresa: Wow, it sounds like she is really into that job.
Ethan: Yeah, she's into the job. I mean, I get phone calls once in a while, but as soon as the caller hears my voice, he hangs up.
Theresa: Oh. How do you know it's a he?
Ethan: I just know. I sense it. I know it's a he, and I think that she's probably having an affair or something with her boss.
Theresa: Oh, my God.
Ethan: I don't--I don't even know.
Theresa: An affair, really?
Ethan: Yeah. Yeah, I think it. I hate to think it, but I think it, you know?
Theresa: Oh, well, you know, it's kind of your fault, Ethan, you know? I mean, I--I tried to, you know, ask you to help me run Crane Industries, but, you know? Look, she had no choice; she had to get a job.
Ethan: You know, you're right about that. You know, you've been right about a lot of things, and I've been a fool about this--this whole thing.
Ethan: And I love you.
Ethan: You're the only one I love. I've been trying to do the right thing with Gwen and stay with her, you know, and you talk about fate, and fate has always meant for us to be together.
Ethan: You're right, and I'm sorry.
Ethan: And I love you, and will you have me, please? I want you back so--
Theresa: Will I--of course. I will never, ever stop loving you. It's going to happen, Ethan. It won't be long now.
Martin: Thank you for not letting Pilar know you're here.
Katherine: I think I should have.
Martin: It would have been a shock. I don't know if she could've taken it.
Katherine: She has to know sooner or later, and sooner is better for all of us, don't you think so?
Martin: I don't know. I don't--I don't know how I could hurt her again.
Katherine: Darling, I don't want to hurt Pilar. I never did. When you rescued me from Alistair and you took me away, my heart was breaking for Pilar because I knew that you would never be able to tell her why you left.
Martin: Well if I had, Alistair would have found out and had us both killed a long time ago.
Katherine: Yes, he would have. I remember the day we both realized we'd never be able to come home again. Finally we fell in love, and I knew you were the only man I would ever love.
Katherine: The longer you take to tell her that you still love me, Martin, the harder it's going to be for her. You need to go to the house tonight and tell her, because if you wait until the morning, it's only going to be more heartbreaking for her. Tell her tonight. Tell her that you'll give her a divorce so she can move on, find someone wonderful to love.
Martin: I don't know if I could stand to see the pain on her face.
Katherine: I know it's going to be very hard, but you can do it. I'll go with you, and then we can disappear together. Darling, maybe we can go back to Mexico where we first fell in love and--and made our promise to each other, and Pilar can find someone who will really love her instead of being obligated to her.
Martin: No, I won't do it.
Katherine: So you won't tell Pilar that you still love me, and you won't cancel the ceremony?
Martin: I can't break her heart.
Katherine: You're willing to sacrifice your happiness for the rest of your life to not hurt Pilar again?
Martin: I don't see it that way.
Katherine: Well, tell me how you do see it. Because if you go through this ceremony, Martin, you're going to be lying to Pilar. You're going to be lying to God.
Martin: That's not true. I do love Pilar and my family. I want them to be happy. My heart tells me I'm doing the right thing.
Katherine: Martin, you just told me that you still love me. A minute ago, you were ready to make love to me. Was that all a lie?
Katherine: Martin, you're--you're renewing these vows out of guilt. You will never be able to stay faithful to Pilar.
Martin: Yes. Yes, I will.
Katherine: No you won't, no. Because you know I will always be in your heart, and every time you see me, you're going to remember everything we shared, and you're going to want to be with me. No, Martin, you won't be able to stay faithful to Pilar.
Pilar: Theresa. Theresa, it's Mama. Are you in there?
Theresa: Yeah, I'm in here.
Theresa: What are you doing up this late? You've got to be in bed, get your beauty sleep. You've got a big day tomorrow.
Pilar: I know, I know, I know, I know. I just, I forgot my wedding shoes at the house.
Theresa: Oh, you saw Papa.
Pilar: No, no. No, I didn't. We didn't see each other. Relax, ok, I know it would be bad luck.
Theresa: Yeah. Ok, that's a relief.
Pilar: I--I just, I wanted to thank you one more time for everything that you're doing to make this day so special for me.
Theresa: Mama, I'm just glad your dream is coming true.
Pilar: It is. Wow. It is, isn't it? I just knew that if I never gave up hope, your father would come back to me, and he has.
Theresa: And it is wonderful.
Pilar: Yes. What--what are you doing up working so late at this hour?
Theresa: [Sighs] You know, just taking care of business.
Pilar: Business? With Collier and Company?
Pilar: Mm, this is a contract of some kind, no? Doesn't Crane Industries have lawyers to handle this kind of thing?
Theresa: Well, you know, without Ethan, their legal department is shorthanded.
[Telephone rings] I gotta get that. Theresa Crane. Yeah, I'm sending the contract over to you by messenger tonight. I can fax you a copy, as well. Just keep your end of the bargain.
Pilar: What are you up to, Theresita?
Theresa: What do you mean?
Pilar: I got a look at this contract, and it's--it's worth millions, and you're sending it over to Collier by messenger tonight? What are you up to, Theresa?
Theresa: Mom, business.
Pilar: Ah, you mean monkey business?
Theresa: Ok, it's nothing for you to worry about.
Pilar: Oh, mm, I know what you're doing. I know. You're paying Collier off so they won't hire Ethan, isn't that right?
Theresa: No. Uh-uh.
Pilar: Don't lie to me, Theresa.
Theresa: I'm not lying to you, Mama.
Pilar: No, yes you are. You're bribing them. You're offering him this big contract so he won't hire Ethan, and that way Ethan will come crawling back to you, isn't that right?
Theresa: No, it's just the opposite. I'm actually paying Collier to hire Gwen.
Pilar: What? Why?
Theresa: This is the best idea I've ever had, Mama. I mean, really. Ok, Gwen's gonna be so busy with her new job that she's not gonna pay attention to Jane or Ethan, and then that's where I come in. I'm gonna take back what's rightfully mine.
Pilar: Theresa, seriously, mi hija, you can't do this.
Theresa: Mama, I have to do this. Now, I think we should change the subject. Let's talk about happy things, like you and Papa renewing your vows tomorrow.
Pilar: No, no, no. We are going to talk about this, Theresa, because you know very well that this is wrong.
Theresa: How can you say that to me? You've seen the way I've suffered over the years, Mama. I'm just trying to get back what Gwen stole from me.
Theresa: Oh, yes, by trying to break up a perfectly good, happy marriage.
Theresa: Why do we have to go through this? It's not a happy marriage. Ethan doesn't love Gwen. He is in love with me.
Pilar: Stop. Theresa, you have deluded yourself about this long enough. You forget that I was working here when Ethan and Gwen were just young teenagers in love, when they got engaged.
Theresa: Their families threw them together, Mama. You know that. Ethan didn't know love until he met me.
Pilar: Ok, Theresa, just stop, just stop. They took holy vows in church. Stop trying to destroy that.
Theresa: I don't think we're ever going to agree on this, Mama.
Pilar: You're right, we're not, and actually you're doing exactly the same thing Katherine is trying to do to your father and me.
Theresa: No. No, I'm not. Katherine knew that you and Papa were happily married with 5 children when she stole him from you. I'm trying to get back what's rightfully mine.
Pilar: Theresita, you had a brief, romantic fling with Ethan. There is nothing for you to get back. What do you think, that he was like drugged or hypnotized when he married Gwen?
Theresa: Well, Mama, he felt obligated to marry her because Gwen was pregnant.
Pilar: That's right, because they were lovers, Theresa--lovers. Get that through your thick head.
Theresa: All right, you know what, no disrespect, Mama, ok? But I'm not gonna live my life the way that you did. Yes, I was young, but I understood everything that was going on at home. I heard you, Mama. I heard you crying. You were sad. You were lonely. You were always missing Papa, right? But you never gave yourself the chance to get over him and move on.
Pilar: Because I took my vows very seriously, very seriously, and besides, I never had any proof that your father was dead.
Theresa: Well, you know what, Mama? I'm not going to be like you, ok? I'm not going to end up being all alone.
Pilar: You'll find a man that will return your love, Theresa, instead of running from you.
Theresa: Look, Mama, I'm not just gonna stand by and--and hope that Ethan's gonna leave Gwen, all right? I'm gonna--I'm gonna make it happen. I'm going to take what is mine.
Ethan: Whoa, how--what are you--are you packing panty hose?
Gwen: Murphy's other law. You have an important meeting, you snag your stockings, didn't you know that?
Ethan: No, obviously I--I've been going to a lot of meetings unprepared.
Gwen: Oh, you're very funny.
Gwen: Mm, calculator?
Ethan: Got you one.
Gwen: Thank you. I think this is everything, you know? My calculator, driver's license, passport, social security card, marriage license in case they need proof of the name change, and last but not least, this wonderful picture of you and Jane.
Ethan: That's great. I think you--wait, wait you forgot something.
Ethan: The kitchen sink, Gwen.
Ethan: I'll get it, ok, for you.
Gwen: You're a funny man. A funny man, you should have your own radio show.
Ethan: Hey, that could be my new career, you know?
Gwen: Stop it. Thank you for the briefcase.
Ethan: You're welcome. Oh, there's a key to this. You're gonna need this in case Mr. Collier gives you some top-secret information.
Gwen: Thank you. Oh, honey, this has your initials on it.
Ethan: Yeah, it does. My mother insisted that I get an initialed plaque. Why, is that a--is that a problem?
Gwen: No, I'm sure it'll be ok, it's just--well, I can always say I borrowed it from you if anyone asks.
Ethan: You know what, I can get--I'll get a screwdriver. I will rip it right off.
Ethan: It's not a problem. There is no way you're gonna do that. You'll ruin it.
Noah: Now, look, ok, you can't keep trying to interfere with my relationship with Fancy.
Maya: I'm trying to help her.
Noah: Ok, maybe you are, but so far you're not doing a very good job of it, Maya.
Maya: I know. Look, I feel terrible that she got hurt.
Noah: It's one thing for me to be in danger, ok? But I can't let Fancy be in danger, too.
Maya: And you think telling her the truth is gonna make her safer? Noah, you couldn't be more wrong.
Noah: Look, she's already in danger and she doesn't know anything. Telling her the truth can only help her.
Maya: No, you're wrong. I haven't been completely honest with you since I came back to Harmony.
Noah: Really? You know, Maya, I don't think you've ever been completely honest with me.
Maya: I'm sorry. I don't mean to lie, and I don't want to put you in danger, but trouble seems to find me no matter where I go. It's followed me here.
Noah: Is this supposed to be some kind of surprise? I mean, you weren't here for 5 minutes before two guys jumped you on the wharf and beat you up, and the next thing I know, I'm sitting in a diner with Fancy and a car comes plowing in through the window and hits us right at our table. I mean, tell me, Maya, what's next?
Maya: I don't know, but I heard from them.
Noah: Who? Who's them?
Maya: The guy in the shooting that we saw.
Noah: What--you mean they contacted you? You talked to them?
Noah: What--who are they? What did they say? I mean, what do they want?
Maya: I don't know who they are, but they want us to keep quiet.
Noah: How do they know we're not keeping quiet? I mean, we haven't gone to the police or--
Maya: I don't know. I mean, as long as both of us were out of town, they weren't worried, but now that I'm back in Harmony and they saw us together with Fancy, they're afraid that we're gonna tell Fancy everything. Noah, they want us all dead.
Noah: Oh, my God. Why didn't you tell me this before?
Maya: Because I was scared.
Noah: All right. Look, we have to go to the police, ok?
Maya: No, we can't go to the police. They'll find out, and they'll kill us before we can press charges.
Noah: But we have to do something to protect ourselves.
Maya: Yes, that's why you can't tell Fancy anything. The less that she knows, the safer she'll be.
Noah: Maya, look, nobody is safe now. They've already threatened to kill all of us, ok? They're not gonna stop until they shut us up permanently.
Maya: But so far, they think that they did stop you from telling Fancy.
Noah: Look, this is crazy, ok? I'm going to tell Fancy, and then I'm gonna tell my dad. He still has friends on the force. He can protect us.
Maya: If you do that, we're as good as dead. These people are everywhere, and they see everything. How do you get protection from something like that?
Noah: I don't know, but I'm going to tell Fancy, right now.
Martin: Katherine, I've thought long and hard about this, and I decided to do the right thing.
Katherine: Oh, the right thing, but is this the right thing?
Martin: It is.
Katherine: Oh, Martin, what about you? You're still a young man. Are you telling me you're willing to go through the rest of your life denying your feelings for me? What about Pilar? You don't think she's gonna know?
Martin: No, because I intend to make Pilar very happy.
Katherine: Oh, Martin, she's not an idiot. She's a smart, intuitive woman. She will know.
Martin: Not if I truly devote myself to her, she won't.
Katherine: Oh, I don't think you can make that kind of sacrifice.
Martin: Why not? I mean, you were willing to sacrifice being with me for Pilar's happiness.
Katherine: No, no, not for Pilar's happiness. I was willing to do it for my daughter because Alistair was threatening to tell her she killed someone when she was a child.
Martin: Damn Alistair. Seems like everything that's wrong in this world--everything that's happened to--to you, to me, to Pilar, is all because of Alistair's doing.
Katherine: Yes, but now Sheridan knows that she didn't kill anyone. Alistair is in a coma, and God willing--please, God willing, he'll never recover. He can't threaten you. He can't threaten her, and I have no more reason to sacrifice being with you.
Martin: Katherine, I don't know. I don't know.
Katherine: I do. I do. I love you. You love me. Oh, Martin, we're soul mates. We belong together. Stop pretending it's not true. Give--give in to your heart, Martin. Please, give in to the passion you feel, all for the woman you love.
Pilar: Theresa, you were raised in the church. Isn't anything sacred to you?
Theresa: Mama, a marriage made in heaven is sacred to me. Ethan and I are soul mates, and I'm trying to right a terrible wrong.
Pilar: What wrong? Oh, I know, Gwen sending the information about Ethan's true paternity to the tabloids.
Theresa: Yeah, Mama, that's right. Ethan was the Crane heir, ok? He spent his entire life preparing to take over the empire. Well, he fell in love with me, broke off his engagement to Gwen, and she had to find a way to turn him against me.
Pilar: So she sent it from your computer so that he would think you did it?
Theresa: Exactly, and he blamed me for ruining his life, and I'm trying to right that wrong.
Pilar: By destroying a marriage that was blessed by God?
Theresa: Mama, Gwen is evil. She doesn't deserve him, and very soon Ethan's going to see that.
Pilar: You--you actually think that Gwen is going to neglect Jane and Ethan when she starts working?
Theresa: Yeah, she's a career woman at heart, Mama. Ethan's going to get tired of her focusing on her new job instead of him.
Pilar: You're doing exactly the same thing that you're setting Gwen up to do.
Theresa: What am I doing?
Pilar: Well look at you, Theresa, you are the C.E.O. of this big, important company. What makes you think Ethan won't feel neglected by you?
Theresa: Because I don't want a career, Mama. Gwen does.
Pilar: Theresita, the only reason that Gwen has taken this job is because you made it impossible for her husband to find work, and what did you expect, for them to go on welfare?
Theresa: Mama, Gwen was a successful business woman before she married Ethan, and I know she'll be happy to just get right back in the saddle. Now all I want is Ethan and my children. So, once I find a way to get Ethan away from Gwen, I'm going to put him in charge of Crane Industries, and then I will be a happy stay-at-home mother.
Pilar: No. You're not doing this, Theresa. I'm not going to let you destroy this marriage.
Maya: Noah, please don't do this.
Noah: I am going to tell Fancy the truth right now. Fancy, are you awake? What?
Maya: What is it?
Noah: I put a rose on her pillow...
Maya: Oh, my God.
Ethan: What is wrong?
Gwen: Please don't--don't do that. If you pry the names off, you're going to ruin the briefcase, and I would never ever, ever forgive myself, and besides, you're going to be getting a job yourself very soon, and you will need that briefcase, you know?
Ethan: Ok. All right. If you say so, no problem.
Gwen: I do, and I think I'll buy my own briefcase with my first paycheck.
Ethan: Huh. How did this happen to me?
Martin: I--I--I can't do this. I'm sorry.
Katherine: You can.
Katherine: Martin, if you walk away from us, you'll be making a terrible mistake.
Martin: It's not a mistake. I have a wife, a wife who never deserved to be abandoned for all those years. I'm going to recommit myself to Pilar, and I'm going to make her happy.
Katherine: Martin, Martin, you're a very good man. You want to do the right thing. If you commit to Pilar tomorrow, think about this, you will be doing her the greatest injustice.
Martin: No. I made a promise.
Katherine: Put yourself in her place. If she was in love with someone else, married to you, would you--would you try and hold on to her anyway?
Martin: The fact is, she's not in love with anybody but me. I can't leave her. I'm going to renew my vows with Pilar tomorrow, and you can't talk me out of it. Now, please, I'd like you to go.
Katherine: No, I'm not leaving, Martin. I love you.
Martin: Then I'm leaving.
Katherine: Why? Why? Because--because you can't stay with me? Is that why? Because you can't be alone in this room with me, because you'll want to make love to me?
Katherine: Yes. You don't trust yourself. You don't--you don't trust that you'll be able to resist me. That you'll give in, that you'll want to make love to me.
Martin: No, that's not it! Now, I can't stay in this room. I can't.
Katherine: Martin, why can't you admit it? You're committing yourself to the wrong woman. The truth is you don't love Pilar. The truth is you love me. You still love me.
Theresa: Mama, you're right. Maybe it is wrong of me to pay Collier to give Gwen the job.
Pilar: So you're not going to go through with it?
Theresa: No. No, it's not right.
Pilar: Well, Theresa, I'm--I'm very, very happy to hear you say that.
Theresa: Well, Mama, you--you convinced me that I was--I was wrong.
Pilar: Good. You'll see, sweetheart. You'll be rewarded for doing the right thing.
Theresa: I hope so, Mama. Well, it's late.
Pilar: I know.
Theresa: It's time for you to go to sleep.
Pilar: I don't know if I can sleep. I'm going to try, but I am so excited I don't know if I can sleep.
Theresa: Well, you know what, have yourself a nice glass of warm milk, and I will see you in the morning.
Pilar: Ok. Good night, my angel.
Theresa: I love you.
Pilar: Love you.
Theresa: Come on, I'll walk you out.
Theresa: Bye. Mama, this is the right thing for me to do. I am not going to spend my life without passion and love. Nothing, and no one, is going to stop me from getting rid of Gwen and getting Ethan and my daughter back.
On the Next Passions:
Pilar: This will be the most beautiful day of my life, and nothing will ruin it.
Katherine: Make love to me.
Gwen: I got the job.
Sheridan: What the hell do you think you're doing?
