Woman: Ahem.

Kay: Whoa, what's going on?

Fox: Uh, everybody left.

Woman: Yes, they all went downstairs. I'm sorry to interrupt. I just wanted to tell you how wonderfully heroic you were, the way you and that other guy went into the water and saved that child's life.

Fox: Oh. Well, thanks.

Woman: Here, I know how cold that water is.

Fox: Yeah, thanks.

Woman: You're a true hero. You must be so proud of your husband.

Kay and Fox: Husband?

Fox: You kidding me?

Kay: What?

Fox: Ahem.

Liz: Oh, my god. I stabbed him. I actually did it.

Julian: Liz -- why?

Liz: You should've listened to me, Julian. I said I'd kill you. You ruined my life, and now I've taken yours. Oh, this is justice, Julian. True justice.

T.C.: Eve, you look as if you don't believe me. But, sweetheart, I am serious.

Eve: Yes, T.C., I can see that you are.

T.C.: I don't know, maybe it's because we had these terrible times. Hell, I know that we're divorced, but I still think we have a future together.

Eve: God, a future, T.C.? Where is this coming from?

T.C.: I don't know. Hell, maybe it's because Julian asked you to marry him. Or this damn tsunami and this earthquake or us coming very close to dying. But there's one thing that I just realized right now.

Eve: What?

T.C.: I have never stopped loving you and you have always been in my heart. Tell me that I'm still in your heart. Tell me that there's a chance that we can be together again.

Whitney: Should we really do this?

Ethan: Where the hell are the emergency teams, huh?

Theresa: Ethan?

Ethan: Theresa, I'm here.

Theresa: Where are we? My leg --

Ethan: Shh, no, it's ok. Honey, I know it hurts, but, hey, the rescue teams are coming. They're coming, but you have to stay with me. You have to stay with me, ok? Theresa? Theresa?

Martin: We've got to get this door closed and we need to get to the attic before another wave hits.

Pilar: You will stop at nothing, huh, to get close to my husband.

Martin: What?

Katherine: I didn't plan this, Pilar.

Martin: Of course she didn't. I mean, you and I both saw somebody who needed help. I had no idea it was Katherine out there.

Pilar: Well, what were you doing outside my house?

Katherine: I didn't know it was your house. I didn't know where I was. This wave came and washed me away. I swear, this was not deliberate.

Martin: Of course it wasn't. I mean, that's ridiculous. Katherine wouldn't deliberately risk her life to get here.

Sheridan: I'm sorry, I know everything is soaking wet, but we'll get out of here, I promise, ok? We'll find a nice place that's warm and dry. Yeah.

Sheridan's voice: My god, this sweet little boy's mother is dead and I have to find a way to save his life and mine. I promised his mother that I would look after him. There's water everywhere. How are we going to get out of here? Where are we going to go? I can't just leave Maureen here. What am I going to do?

Sheridan: Everything will be all right, ok? It'll be all right. Come here. No!

Kay: Did she just call you my husband?

Fox: Yeah, I think she did.

Kay: She must be crazy if she thinks somebody like you could actually be my husband.

Fox: Yeah. Well, you know, she probably got that impression from the way you grabbed me and started kissing me.

Kay: Me kiss you? Uh-uh, no, no, no, it was you. You were kissing me.

Fox: No, no, no, it was you. And I think when somebody sees someone kiss someone with that kind of passion, well, they probably just naturally assume you're either married to them or, you know, dating them.

Kay: I didn't kiss you.

Fox: Yeah, you did.

Kay: No, I didn't.

Fox: Yeah, you did.

Kay: No, I didn't.

Fox: Yeah, you did.

Kay: No, I didn't.

Fox: Yeah, you did. It's ok, you know? There's nothing to be ashamed of. You thought I did something really brave. You got caught up in the heat of the moment. You laid a lip lock on me like no one's ever seen before. It's fine.

Kay: Well, ok, I guess I just got a little excited seeing you save that boy and everything, so --

Fox: Ok, well, there you go. Apology accepted.

Kay: Apology? I did not apologize.

Fox: Yeah, you did.

Kay: No, I didn't.

Fox: Yeah, you did.

Kay: No, I didn't.

Fox: Yeah, you did.

Kay: Oh, my gosh. You are so childish and frustrating.

Fox: You liked it, didn't you?

Kay: Liked what? That kiss?

Fox: Yeah, the kiss. You liked it. Admit it, you were into it.

Kay: I was not. You were the one that was into it, not me.

Fox: Really?

Kay: Yeah, it's true. I didn't notice you pushing me back. In fact, you were kissing me back and I couldn't have stopped if I wanted to.

Fox: Really? Well, it's a good thing you didn't want to, because you were into it.

Kay: Look, I've kissed a lot of guys in my life, and none of them were as into it as you were just now.

Fox: Ok, you just keep on dreaming. Just keep doing that little thing. And, you know, let me tell you something else. I doubt you've kissed that many guys. You're not old enough.

Kay: Not old enough? I have a baby.

Fox: What the hell does that -- I have a baby, too. Big deal.

Kay: So, what, does that mean you haven't had very many girlfriends? I find that hard to believe.

Fox: You find that hard to believe? Do you really?

Kay: Yeah, I do. And I think that you enjoyed that kiss a lot more than you wanted me to know.

Fox: Do you really?

Kay: Yeah, I do.

Pilar: I don't believe it. I told you to get out of my house and leave Martin alone.

Katherine: I didn't intend to come here, Pilar.

Martin: Of course she didn't. She knows how you feel and she's trying to respect your wishes.

Katherine: Yes, I swear. I was trying to find Sheridan. Then this big wave came and swept me away. And I tried to grab onto something, I grabbed, and it -- it floated here.

Pilar: Where did it come from?

Katherine: I don't know. It floated by, I grabbed it, and I held on.

Pilar: I wonder what poor soul is inside of it.

Martin: You know what? We'll find out when things get settled down outside, all right?

Katherine: No, I should go. I'm so worried about Sheridan. But, Martin, thank you. Thank you for coming to my rescue.

Martin: Katherine, where will you go? It's not safe out there.

Katherine: I'll be all right. Maybe the water has receded by now.

Pilar: Katherine -- wait, you can't go out there. Just stay. Please, it's too dangerous.

Ethan: Theresa, you hang on. You got to hang on. Because I need you. Little Ethan needs you, Jane -- she needs you. Our daughter needs you, Theresa, and you need to -- you need to stay strong. I know you're a fighter. I know you're strong. God, that's one of the reasons I love you. You don't give up. And I know you are not going to give up now, not when there's a rescue team that is coming for us. Do you hear me? You stay with me and you stay strong. Don't you leave me.

Sheridan: Oh, god. It's ok. It's ok. You're ok. Thank goodness we weren't standing over there. This place is falling apart. We've got to get out of here. Sit right there, ok? Stay there. How are we going to get out of here? The street is like a river. I'm not sure it's any safer down there than it is in here. Dear god, help us. What are we going to do?

Liz: You're the reason I suffered all those years. Eve was seduced by your money and your power and she couldn't think of anything else. She never looked back. She never thought, was I all right? Was I happy? Was I sick or well? She didn't care. So when I say that's it's perfect, I mean this is perfect justice. I have waited years for justice. And I'm not going to miss a single moment. I am going to sit right here and watch you die.

T.C.: Eve, are you listening to me? Sweetheart, I am still in love with you and I need to know if you still have feelings for me.

Eve: T.C., you're the father of my children. Of course I have feelings for you.

T.C.: No, are you still in love with me?

Eve: You know, I don't understand this, T.C., because you were so angry. You're the one who wanted the divorce.

T.C.: I know. I was hurt. My anger -- you know how my anger is. It makes me say crazy things without thinking. But hell, I am thinking clearly now. This disaster's got me thinking straight. And I need to know, is it a possibility we can be together again?

[Phone rings]

Eve: I can't believe it. My cell phone still works.

T.C.: Damn it, Eve, don't answer it.

Eve: T.C., I have to answer it. I'm a doctor. There's a major crisis going on. Besides, it could be about Whitney. Hello? This is Dr. Russell.

T.C.: Is it Whitney?

Eve: Hello? Are you there?

T.C.: Who is it?

Eve: I'm not sure. T.C., we can't drive in this flood, but we can walk.

T.C.: Walk? Where the hell are we going to walk?

Eve: Come on, please, let's go.

Sheridan: Maureen, I am so sorry to leave you here. Please know that I promise I will take care of Mark. I'm so sorry. Goodbye. Rest in peace, and know that Mark will be safe with me.

Sheridan: Here we go.

Katherine: Pilar, are you sure you want me to stay? I don't want to cause any trouble.

Pilar: In times like these, we need to put our personal feelings aside and do what God would want us to do.

Martin: You're right, God would want us to help each other.

Pilar: Well, you two could use some dry clothes. I'll see what I can find for you, Katherine.

Katherine: Pilar? I'm very grateful.

Martin: So am I. You're a good woman.

Pilar: I just hope I'm not a fool, also.

Kay: Wait, wait, wait, what are we doing?

Fox: You want to stop?

Kay: No.

Chad: I love you, Whitney. I love you so much.

Whitney: God, Chad, I love you, too.

Chad: I don't ever want to lose you again. Never.

Whitney: I don't want you to. God, I have missed you so much. I missed you more than you know, more than you'll ever know. I want you, Chad.

Eve: Julian?

T.C.: Julian? Is that who called you?

Eve: I'm not sure. I mean, nobody said anything, but I thought I heard someone moaning.

T.C.: Moan?

Eve: Moan, moan, like he was in pain. I'm afraid something's happened to him.

Eve: Julian! Julian! Oh, my god!

T.C.: What happened? Is he dead?

Eve: No. No, he has a pulse, but it's very weak.

T.C.: How could this happen? I mean, this couldn't have happened from the tsunami.

Eve: No, someone did this to him. T.C., I need towels. I need towels. I have to get this ice pick out of his back and stop the bleeding!

Julian: Eve. Eve.

Eve: Oh, I'm here. I'm here, Julian. I'm right here. And you're going to be all right. I'm going to make sure that you're all right.

Julian: I -- I tried to call you.

Eve: I know. I know, baby, I got your call. Who did this to you? Oh, god. It's going to be ok. It's going to be ok, Julian. I'm going to take care of you.

Ethan: I know you can hear me. I know you can hear me because I'm telling you how much we all need you, Theresa. Little Ethan needs you. Jane, she needs you. I need you, too. I can't imagine what life would be like if I couldn't take a look into those beautiful eyes of yours ever again, your lips, your -- your wonderfully stubborn face. Theresa, we have plans. You know, we're supposed to watch our little girl grow up. We're supposed to watch her go to college and get married and have babies, Theresa. She needs her mother for these things. And I need you, too. I need you, too. So that's why you've got to stay with me. Hang on. Don't you leave me. Don't you leave us.

[Boat approaches]

Ethan: Did you hear that? Up here!

Guardsman: We see you! Are you alone?

Ethan: No! No, I have a woman up here. She's badly injured.

Guardsman: Ok, don't move. We're coming to get you.

Ethan: Ok. All right. Hey, hey, did you hear that? I told you. Didn't I tell you someone was coming? Someone's coming, so you stay strong, ok? Stay strong. I just hope it's not too late.

Pilar: I laid out some clothes for you in the bedroom, Martin.

Martin: Thank you. You know what, I'll go get changed. Why don't you come and hang out with your grandpa, all right? We'll give the ladies some privacy.

Little Ethan: Ok.

Martin: All right, come on.

Pilar: Here, let me help you.

Katherine: Ow. Oh, careful. Thank you. I'm just a little sore.

Pilar: Oh, my god, what happened? Are those bruises from the tsunami?

Katherine: Yes, I -- I think so. I bumped into some trees and there were some other things when the water came and carried me away.

Pilar: Katherine? Wait, wait. These look different. This looks like someone beat you.

Katherine: No. It was nothing like that.

Pilar: Katherine, I was there, remember? All those years ago, I worked for you before you left Alistair. I know he used to beat you. Alistair did that, didn't he?

Katherine: I'm really all right, Pilar, really.

Pilar: No, you're not. He did that, didn't he?

Katherine: Doesn't matter now.

Pilar: Oh, my god, he did. He did. That evil, evil man. Oh, god, Katherine. Oh, god, he raped you, didn't he? Didn't he?

Katherine: Yes. He raped me.

Pilar: Come here. Come here.

Sheridan: Don't worry. I'll find us someplace nice and warm and dry, ok, and I'll be with you every minute. Everything's going to be ok, I promise. God, what's left of Harmony? Oh, no. No, what's happening? No!

Sheridan: Mark! Mark! Where are you? Oh, god, please let him be all right. Mark!

Man: Is this your son?

Sheridan: Oh, thank you, god. Thank you so much.

Man: I saw him in the water and I grabbed him before he could be swept away. Are you all right?

Sheridan: Yes, I'm fine, thank you.

Man: At least the water's going down. Maybe the worst is over.

Sheridan: Let's hope so. Is the whole town like this?

Man: I heard it's not as bad on the east side. It's on higher ground up there. This neighborhood was the hardest hit.

Sheridan: I can see that. Which way is east?

Man: You can see the church spire of St. Margaret Mary's from here. But the streets are all flooded. It'll be dangerous. Don't you think you should stay here and wait for help?

Sheridan: How do we know help is coming?

Man: I'm sure someone's coming to help. I hope so, anyway.

Sheridan: I can't wait. I have to get this little boy to safety. Thank you.

Man: You be careful.

Sheridan: Thank you again.

Ethan: I think she -- she severed an artery in her leg. The tsunami threw us against a tree. I think a limb speared her pretty good.

Guardsman: B.P.'s real low. She's lost a lot of blood.

Ethan: I know, I know. It was gushing all over. I tried to stop it.

Guardsman: How's it going up there?

Second guardsman: He did a good job. If you hadn't made that tourniquet, she'd be dead by now.

Ethan: She going to be all right?

Guardsman: Yeah, she should be once we get her to a hospital. It's a small boat, very maneuverable, so we should be able to get her there pretty quick.

Ethan: Thank you.

Guardsman: Are you all right? Looks like you might need to get treated, as well.

Ethan: No, no, look, I'm fine. I need to get back to my wife and my daughter and see if they're all right.

Guardsman: How you going to get home? I mean, the streets are pretty badly flooded.

Ethan: I don't know. I'm going to find a way, though. Listen, I want to know how she's doing from the hospital. Can you have them contact me? My name is Ethan Winthrop.

Guardsman: We'll them, Mr. Winthrop.

Ethan: Thank you, thank you.

Theresa: Ethan?

Ethan: Theresa. Hey. Hey, look at me. It's going to be ok. The rescue teams, they're here and they're going to take you to the hospital.

Theresa: You'll go with me, right? Please say you're going to come with me.

Eve: It's ok, baby.

T.C.: Here, I got some towels.

Eve: It's going to be ok. Thank you, T.C. I have to get this ice pick out and then stop the bleeding.

[Julian moans]

Eve: Oh, god. I'm sorry, baby. I'm sorry.

T.C.: Did Julian tell you who did this?

Eve: Oh -- no, he's been too weak to speak.

Eve: What was that?

T.C.: I don't know. It sounded like it came from the closet.

Eve: Wait, T.C., wait! Whoever did this might still be here.

Julian: Eve? Eve?

Eve: Oh, Julian.

Julian: Eve --

Eve: Do you know who's in that closet?

T.C.: It's Liz. It's Liz.

Eve: Liz? Is she ok?

Man: I don't know. She's got blood all over her hands.

Eve: Liz, did you stab Julian?

Liz: Yes. I did it. I stabbed Julian.

Pilar: Katherine, why do you stay with Alistair? I mean, he's a monster.

Katherine: I know. But I have no choice.

Pilar: Why? I mean, what is he using to threaten you, to force you to stay?

Katherine: Pilar, you're one of the few people who knows the truth about my sister, Rachel, so you know that Sheridan killed her when she was just a child.

Pilar: Yeah, she thought she was protecting her father, and then -- and then he made her think it was all a dream.

Katherine: Yes, and now he's threatening to tell her the truth unless I do what he says.

Pilar: Because he knows that would destroy Sheridan.

Katherine: It would destroy her. I can't let him do that to my daughter.

Pilar: So you stay and you put up with this abuse for Sheridan?

Katherine: What else can I do? As horrible as it is, I try and tell myself each time it happens that he can't rape my soul or have my heart. He can never touch me. This gives me strength, even comforts me because I must keep surviving this for Sheridan's sake. And, Pilar, if it was your daughter he was threatening, I know you would do the same thing.

Pilar: Oh, god. God, forgive me. How I have wanted you to be punished and to suffer since you took my husband away from me and his family. But I never meant for any of this to happen. I'm so sorry. We need to tell Martin.

Katherine: No. No, no, no, you can't tell Martin any of this.

Pilar: Why not?

Katherine: Because he will go to Alistair, he'll find him, he'll kill him. It'll ruin his life. You can't tell Martin any of this, Pilar.

Pilar: He'd want to know and he would want to protect you.

Katherine: I know, and his place is here with you.

Pilar: Well, I guess you're right. For Martin's sake, it's best that he doesn't know.

Martin: Best that I don't know what?

T.C.: Sweetheart, are you hurt?

Liz: I had to do it. I had to stab him.

T.C.: You had to why?

Eve: Why on earth did you do this, Liz? Are you completely crazy?

Liz: He attacked me!

Eve: Oh, please. I don't believe he attacked you.

Liz: He came after me. I had to stop him!

Julian: That's not true.

Liz: He said he wanted me. He said he wanted to have sex with me. I said no and he attacked me!

Eve: Liar!

Julian: No.

Liz: He kept saying he wanted me. He said he wanted me. He said he knew I wanted him, too! I said no! He wouldn't listen!

Julian: No!

Liz: He said no one says no to Julian Crane. I couldn't do anything else. I had no choice! I had to stab him!

Eve: T.C, please, you can't believe her. She's hysterical.

T.C.: Why would she lie, Eve, huh? Julian attacked her. Why would she lie? Why would your half sister lie? I'm going to rip his head off.

Martin: What are you two talking about? What is it that I'm not supposed to know?

Katherine: You misheard, Martin.

Pilar: Right, we were actually talking about Sheridan. You misunderstood..

Katherine: Yes, we were talking about for Sheridan it would not be best if she knew that she killed Rachel.

Pilar: Right. It would destroy her if she knew that she killed her own aunt.

Katherine: And Alistair is threatening to turn her in to the police and make her stand trial.

Martin: That bastard. He'd do that to his own daughter.

Katherine: Oh, Sheridan.

Pilar: Oh, my god.

Sheridan: Thank god we made it.

Katherine: Are you all right, sweetheart? We've been worried sick about you.

Pilar: I'll get you a towel.

Sheridan: Thank you.

Martin: Who's this little guy?

Sheridan: This is Mark. I was with him and his mother when the earthquake hit.

Pilar: My god, where's his mother now?

Sheridan: Maureen didn't make it. I promised her that I would take care of him.

Katherine: Well, thank god you're both all right.

Martin: Well, how did you get here? The streets are all flooded.

Sheridan: I don't know. We -- we walked. Well, no, actually, we swam. The apartment we were in was just falling apart and we had to get somewhere safe. You know, half the buildings are destroyed. Did you know that? They're just destroyed.

Martin: I know, thank god Pilar's house wasn't swept away like all the other homes.

Pilar: Yes, and thank god you found your way to come here.

Katherine: You're going to be all right now, darling. You're safe.

Martin: You'll be ok now.

Man: Hello? Is anybody up here?

Kay: Who's that?

Man: Anybody need help? Who we looking for?

Second man: Chief Bennett. I mean, Sam. I still can't get over that he was fired. He said his daughter is still up here and she might need help. Her name's Kay. Kay Bennett!

Kay: Over here!

Man: There you are. Your dad thought you'd be right behind him when he went downstairs.

Kay: No, no, um, I was watching to see if the water was going to recede.

Fox: Away.

Man: Are you ok? How about you, sir, any injuries?

Fox: Huh? Oh, no, I'm fine. Yeah, I made it.

Kay: Yeah, I'm fine, too.

Man: Well, we'd better get you downstairs then.

Fox: Yes.

Man: Yeah, I guess it's pretty safe up here, but, you know, you never know when another big wave might hit.

Fox: Never know.

Man: We're still getting aftershocks, which means there could be another big tsunami wave.

Second man: Yeah, who knows what could've happened up here. Come on.

Fox: Hard to say.

Chad: Cheers. To the most wonderful and amazing night I've ever had and to the most wonderful and amazing woman I've ever known. Oh, and to Miles, the most amazing baby on the planet for sleeping so soundly we could share this time together.

Chad: Baby? Something wrong? Hey, look, I feel the same way, ok? It's a relief to be able to tell you how I feel, you know, and you can't fight it any more than I can fight the way I feel about you. We were meant to be together, Whitney. We're soul mates. I never want to lose you again.

Whitney: Chad, what have we done?

Chad: What?

Whitney: This is wrong. This is -- this is wrong.

Chad: No, this is not wrong.

Whitney: Oh, yes, it is. Come on, what we did here, it's evil. It is pure evil and we're going to go to hell for it.

T.C.: Move away from him. I'm going to rip his head off.

Eve: T.C., he has been stabbed. He is going to bleed to death if he doesn't get some help.

T.C.: Damn it, he tried to rape Liz!

Eve: You don't know that.

Liz: Damn it, he did!

Julian: No!

Eve: It's ok, I know that it never happened. Why are you telling this monumental lie, Liz?

T.C.: Why would she lie about something like that? She wouldn't stab him for no reason.

Liz: It's ok, T.C. She doesn't want to believe me. She wants me dead.

Eve: Oh, that isn't true.

Liz: Then why did you put poison in my punch at that church?

Eve: You know very well that I didn't try to poison you, Liz.

Liz: You know what? We'll wait and see what the jury says when you go to trial. And I want Julian to go to jail, too.

T.C.: Oh, he will.

Eve: T.C., please try and think about this logically for a minute. She says that Julian attacked her. That means that Julian came towards her. That means that she would've stabbed him in the front, not in the back. I am thinking logically that she had to sneak up behind Julian and stab him in the back for some reason. Isn't that what happened, Liz?

Theresa: Please say you'll come with me.

Guardsman: We need to get going!

Theresa: Please? I'm really scared and I don't want to be alone.

Ethan: Listen to me, you don't have to be scared. The national guard, they're going to take great, great care of you, ok?

Theresa: Please come with me? Please, I need you.

Ethan: Has there been any word on the Crane mansion?

Guardsman: That's up on Raven Hill, right?

Ethan: Yeah.

Guardsman: Bert?

Bert: I don't know about earthquake damage, but the tsunami waves didn't hit at that high an elevation, so they should be all right.

Guardsman: We're all set here. Are you coming, sir?

Theresa: Please.

Ethan: All right. All right, all right, I'll stay. I'll stay with you.

Theresa: Thank you. I need you.

Ethan: All right. All right, let's go. Come on. Easy does it.

Katherine: I'm so glad you found your way here, darling.

Sheridan: A man helped us. He told us which way to go to get here.

Katherine: Well, god bless that man, whoever he is. You're soaked. So is he.

Sheridan: His name is Mark.

Katherine: Mark. You told me that.

Sheridan: He's had a terrible night.

Pilar: Oh, you both have, I'm sure, and you're probably exhausted. Why don't I get you some dry clothes. I'm sure he'll fit into something of little Ethan's.

Sheridan: Thank you. Is little Ethan here?

Martin: No, I put him to bed. He was exhausted, too.

Pilar: Yeah. Sweetheart, Mark? Come with Pilar, huh? I'll get you some dry clothes.

Sheridan: Go ahead, sweetheart.

Pilar: Come on. Come here. That's a boy.

Sheridan: What are you doing here, Mother?

Katherine: I was out looking for you and the second wave of the tsunami hit me and I ended up here on that coffin.

Sheridan: Oh, my goodness. Where did that come from?

Martin: Well, there's no way of knowing. It was obviously unearthed during the flood.

Katherine: But it saved my life, Sheridan. It floated by and I just grabbed onto it.

Sheridan: Thank goodness you did. But I wonder whose it is. I wonder who's inside.

On the Next Passions:

Gwen: How do you expect Theresa to use a natural disaster to her advantage?

Theresa: Thank you for coming with me.

Ethan: I'm going to be with you as long as you need me to be.

Liz: You are not the only one who has a past with Julian.

Eve: What?

Whitney: Fox isn't Miles' father, you are.
