Ivy: Fox, wait. No, you -- I know you're upset with Whitney, but you've had a little bit to drink. Maybe you should wait to talk to her.
Fox: No, no, I've waited long enough. She's got to tell me why she gave away my son so that Chad could end up adopting him.
Theresa: Just please stop drinking. I'm really worried you're going to get yourself into trouble.
Whitney: How much more trouble could I possibly get myself into? I mean, I had my half brother's baby, and I had Fox believing that he's the father. And then when I finally figured out that wasn't going to solve anything, I put my baby up for adoption only to have Chad adopt his own child. And now everybody's mad at me, wanting to know why I did what I did, and I can't tell them. And the only people that know are you, my mother, and Julian, and no one else can ever find out.
Fox: Find out what?
Luis: Sheridan, would you please stop accusing Beth of kidnapping you and stealing your baby? Not only do you not have proof of what you're saying, the D.N.A. tests proved that Beth is Marty's biological mother, not you.
Sheridan: The D.N.A. test is wrong.
Luis: Ok, I am asking you to trust me.
Sheridan: I am not crazy, all right? Marty is my son.
Luis: Gwen, can you help me out here? Could you tell Sheridan if she doesn't stop this that Beth is going to sue us for harassment, and then neither one of us is going to see Marty?
Sheridan: You know, Gwen doesn't have to say anything because you have made yourself perfectly clear. You've chosen Beth over me, the woman you supposedly love.
Beth: Please, let's get out of here before Luis and Sheridan see us together. If they do, Luis will realize that everything Sheridan's been accusing me of is true!
Alistair: Not to worry, my dear. Sheridan and Luis are too absorbed in their own issues to notice us right now. In fact, everyone in this place is either angry or agonizing over something.
Alistair: Emotions are running so wild that someone's going to snap, lose control, and commit murder.
Tabitha: Alistair's right, Endora. There's murder in the air tonight. Ah! Oh. Cold steel begets cold-blooded murder.
T.C.: I really feel for you, man, for what you're going through with Jessica and all.
Liz: Yes, if there's anything we can do to help, just --
Sam: I thought Ivy would've helped Jessica, but she only made things worse, keeping everything Jessica was going through as a secret. I mean, how can a grown woman let herself be blackmailed by a teenager?
Liz: Sam, how is Jessica blackmailing Ivy?
Sam: I don't know. That's the least of my worries right now.
Liz's voice: Eve's known what Ivy's been hiding for a while now. I think it's time I found out, as well.
Rebecca: So, Ethan's right. You really are down in the dumps.
Ivy: Well, I might as well tell you. Sam and I are finished for good.
Rebecca: Oh. No, you're kidding. Mmm.
Ivy: No. After all those years, we finally rekindle our love and I thought we'd be together forever. But I blew it.
Rebecca: Hmm. Did he find out what exactly it was you did to break up him and Grace?
Ivy: Please. Curiosity killed the cat. I don't need that bomb to drop.
Rebecca: Well, what difference does it make? I mean, you already lost him.
Ivy: I don't want to lose Ethan and Fox, too.
Rebecca: Good point. And speaking of Ethan, I have some news that is going to boost your spirits.
Rebecca: Gwen and I have finally found a way to sever the cord between Ethan and Theresa.
Ivy: Really? Details.
Fox: So what are you two talking about, huh? What can't anyone find out?
Fox: Nothing? No, you're definitely hiding something. I want to know what it is.
Whitney: Fox, please.
Fox: I want to know why you're pushing me away. I want to know why you gave my son up for adoption. And you know what? I want the truth this time. I think I deserve that much.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, I've just got to get to Beth before she does the humpty dumpty with Alistair. Beth has no idea that Sheridan's father is her father, too. Oh, what is taking Tabitha so long to get over here? I need her to watch Marty so I can search for Beth because I have got to get to her before Alistair does.
Tabitha: Oh. I don't know. What's a witch to do? I know I told Edna that I'd be over shortly, but I don't want to be there if it means that she's in time to stop Alistair and Beth doing the box springs boogie. The boys in the basement definitely want daddy Alistair and daughter Beth to do the deed. The grief it'll cause when the incestuous truth comes out is what we dark siders live for. Oh, I know, Endora. I told her I'd be over there shortly. Oh, drat. I'd better go, then. Oh -- where is Mommy's brain? You need a babysitter, don't you? Here -- conjure up your English nanny doll. Endora? Phoebe, dear. So good of you to come.
Phoebe: What a charming flat. Are we in Surrey?
Tabitha: No, dear, we're in Harmony and I'm in a hurry. Now, Endora will explain what to do. There's tea and biscuits in the kitchen. Help yourself. Endora, darling, be a good girl now, all right? And be nice to our guest.
Phoebe: Hello. I have a few magic tricks of my own.
Luis: Sheridan, I am not siding with Beth over you.
Sheridan: Yes, you are. All right? Marty is my son, and I have been telling you that since the day he was born. And now I'm starting to get memories back of my kidnapping. I'm more convinced than ever that Beth was involved. And now that I've been down in her basement, I know that that's where I was held. But obviously, anything I have to say doesn't carry any weight with you because you believe Beth more than you believe me.
Luis: It's a little more complicated than that, ok?
Sheridan: No. No, Luis, it's not. And you know what? I'm going to prove to you that Beth is not what you think she is, and I'm going to get my son back.
Luis: Sheridan -- Sheridan, come --
Alistair: I know you're afraid that Luis and Sheridan are going to see us together. But I promise you they won't. We'll just stick around here for a little while longer. Then I'll take you home with me and to my bed. All right?
Fox: So there's something going on, right? I want to know the truth.
Whitney: Can you just leave me alone? I don't really want to be bothered.
Fox: Who are you, huh? Who are you? You're not the woman that I fell in love with. You're not the woman that I wanted to marry, spend the rest of my life with. That woman had a heart. That woman would never carry my baby inside of her, feel it grow inside of her, only to throw it away like it didn't matter. Now, don't get me wrong, adoption is a wonderful thing. But not for us, Whitney. Our baby had a father -- has a father -- that wants him and loves him. But you -- what do you do, huh? You -- you throw my child away? You get rid of my child without even telling me? Now, if you didn't want to marry me, that's one thing. Fine. And you don't think you can handle being a single mother? Well, then that's how you feel. I can't do anything about that. But I would've raised my child by myself. But you really didn't give me that chance, did you? You went behind my back and gave my son away? I want to know why. I want to know what the hell you were thinking.
Mrs. Wallace: Tabitha, I am so glad you are here. Thanks so much for looking after Marty for me while I search for Beth. Do you know those greedy kids who baby-sit expected to be paid?
Tabitha: Well, is something wrong with daughter Beth?
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, I just have to clue her in about some very, very important news.
Tabitha: Well, why not call her on her cell phone?
Mrs. Wallace: Well, I tried but she turned it off.
Tabitha: Well, can't whatever it is wait until the morning?
Mrs. Wallace: No. No, I mean -- oh, it would be too late.
Tabitha: Oh. My word, Edna, you have got yourself upset. Are you running short of diapers or something?
Mrs. Wallace: No. But, you know, I am going through them quickly. Nerves, you know.
Tabitha: Oh, dear. You poor thing. Yes, it's a pity Mr. Wallace, Beth's father, isn't around to comfort you.
Mrs. Wallace: Tabitha, you're talking about two different fellas. Mr. Wallace was not Beth's father.
Tabitha: Oh, my. Oh, well, far be it from me to judge you. I'm a single mother myself.
Mrs. Wallace: Yeah, but, you see, I finally realized who Beth's father really is, and I have got to find her and tell her before she does something she's going to regret.
Tabitha: Well, aren't you being overly dramatic, Edna? Beth's lived her whole life not knowing who her father is. I mean, what harm can a few more hours make?
Mrs. Wallace: More than you know, Tabs. More than you know.
Alistair: Beth, relax. Foreplay is to be enjoyed.
Beth: How am I supposed to relax when I'm worried someone's going to see us?
Alistair: No one will.
Ethan: Hey, you two.
Luis: Hey, Ethan.
Ethan: What's wrong?
Luis: Oh, you know, Sheridan and I are having a little argument.
Gwen: Yeah, she's still not convinced that Marty isn't their child, and now she thinks that Beth was behind her kidnapping.
Ethan: You thought that once, didn't you?
Gwen: Yep, right before my hit-and-run.
Luis: You know, I'm trying to be supportive, but Sheridan has no proof of anything she's saying. I mean, Ethan, you're a lawyer. You got to have proof to make a case, right?
Ethan: Yeah, you do. Luis, what if Sheridan had the same suspicions about her father, that he was the one behind the kidnapping and stole your baby? Would you believe her then?
Luis: Yeah, absolutely. But Sheridan's talking about Beth, you know? I just can't see her doing something so horrible.
Gwen: Maybe she was working with Alistair.
Luis: Beth? No. No, she'd never hook up with a monster like Alistair.
Alistair: Now hold that thought. I'm going to take a look around, see what's going on, hmm? Be good.
Beth: I'm still nervous someone's going to see me here.
Sheridan: Beth. Are you here with my father?
Mrs.. Wallace: Where did Precious put those keys? I have got to get to Beth and tell her who her daddy is.
Tabitha: Even though you have no idea where she is?
Mrs. Wallace: No, I don't. Ah!
Tabitha: Well, well, if you don't get to her tonight, at least you tried, Edna.
Mrs. Wallace: "Don't get to her"? Oh, Tabs, I can't handle this on my own. I need help.
Tabitha: Oh, well, I don't think the police are going to want to get involved in this kind of family affair.
Mrs. Wallace: I'm not talking about Harmony's finest. I'm talking about heaven's little helpers.
Tabitha: You mean --
Mrs.. Wallace: You bet I do. Angels, do you hear me? Angels, help me! Angels -- help me, angels! Help me! Help me! Help me.
Tabitha: Oh, my devils. Oh, I had no idea that old bag had a pray station. If her call goes through, I sure as hell don't want to be stuck here. One witch is no match for a flock of angels.
Tabitha: My feet are stuck to the bloody floor.
Mrs. Wallace: Angels, come on down! Come on! Help stop the evil. Come on down! Angels, come on.
Tabitha: Oh, bloody hell! Without Endora here to help me, I'm doomed.
Fox: It's bad enough you didn't want our child, Whitney, that you couldn't look at him much less hold him. But to give him away without giving me a chance to keep him? That's just -- that's heartless. I'm that baby's father, Whitney, only -- look, look -- no baby. Why? Because Chad has him. And tonight I had to leave my son with a man who only adopted him to get you back.
Fox: Yeah, yeah, that's right. I overheard Chad talking to my dad and Eve. He admitted that he still wants Whitney back, and he thinks he can use my child as a means to make that happen. Whitney, our brother adopted my son so that he could be with his own sister. Now, you tell me -- how sick is that?
Theresa: Whitney, I think you need to tell --
Whitney: Ok, I think we both need to stop arguing about this. I don't want to talk about my baby anymore anyway.
Theresa: Why don't I -- let me go talk to her. I'm going to try to get her to open up, ok?
Ethan: Dad filled me in on what happened with you and Jessica.
Ivy: Oh. Yeah, I really messed it up this time.
Ethan: I wouldn't worry about it. I think you and Dad will get back on track.
Ivy: I'm not counting on it, Ethan. But, hey, you know, Rebecca told me that Theresa has refilled the charges against Gwen?
Ethan: Yeah. You know, I really -- I really, really thought that I had gotten through to Theresa this time about dropping this whole feud, but it just --
Ivy: Ethan? Ok, Ethan, listen to me, and please know that what I am telling you is true. Theresa is a snake.
Ethan: Mother, I don't want to hear it.
Ivy: No, you cannot allow yourself to forget how selfish and manipulative Theresa can be.
Ethan: Yes, all right? Look, yes, yes, she's done some crazy things. But I don't think Theresa sees what she does as malicious.
Ivy: Oh, right, ok. So she was just being kind when she put that dossier together about your true paternity, and then sent the information to the tabloids rather than coming to you or to me with the truth? You got the shock of your life reading in the headlines that you weren't a Crane instead of having somebody you love tell you.
Ethan: Yes, that stuck in my gut for the longest time, but, you know, she denies sending that information to the tabloids. She denies it.
Ivy: Ethan, please. It's just more lies. I mean, who else but Theresa had access to her computer, much less knew that the files were there in the first place? Ethan, Theresa outed you, and she did it without a thought to the pain and devastation she was causing in your life. You cannot be fooled by Theresa again. You have got to see her for what she really is -- a selfish and conniving monster. And then you have to ask yourself, Ethan, is that the kind of mother you want for Jane?
Gwen: I'm still not sure Ethan is willing to take Theresa to court to get permanent custody of Jane.
Rebecca: Honey, trust me. Ethan is going to do it. I mean, Theresa has crossed a line this time by having you re-arrested. I mean, this is so much bigger than the time that she found out that Ethan wasn't a Crane and instead of going directly to him with the awful middle-class truth -- no, no -- she sent the files right to the tabloids.
Gwen: Ok, you know as well as I do that we tipped off the tabloids, not Theresa.
Rebecca: Shh. All right? Nobody else has to know that.
Sheridan: So, was that my father you were sitting with? Because he was sitting right there.
Beth: I wasn't sitting with anyone.
Sheridan: What are you doing here, then?
Beth: You know, I don't think that's any of your business.
Sheridan: Ok. Why aren't you home with Marty?
Beth: Because of the stress that you've put me under, I needed to get out and unwind. Mother is with Marty.
Sheridan: Oh, Bethie, Bethie. If you think that I have put you under stress up until now, I've just gotten started.
Beth: What is that supposed to mean?
Sheridan: I was in your basement tonight.
Beth: What? Why?
Sheridan: It all came back to me. I know that that's where I was held after I was kidnapped, and I know you were one of the clowns that kidnapped me. I know the truth, Beth. You're the one that kidnapped me and you stole my baby.
Beth: You're crazy, Sheridan. And no one's going to believe this latest rant of yours.
Sheridan: Oh, yes, they will. Because I am not going to let you get away with this. I'm going to find enough proof that will put you away for life. And then I'm going to get my son back, you child-stealing bitch!
Tabitha: Oh. Talk about being rooted in evil. I still can't move my damn feet. If Edna's call for help from on high goes through, it's going to be goodbye, Tabby.
Mrs. Wallace: Help me, angels! Stop Beth from doing the bugaloo with her own father. Nip evil in the bud!
Tabitha: Oh, please, please, no nipping.
Mrs. Wallace: Destroy all that's unholy!
Tabitha: Oh, no, that would be me.
Mrs. Wallace: Stop evil in its tracks!
Tabitha: Oh, they're way ahead of you, dear.
Mrs. Wallace: And purge all that's unholy from our lives!
Mrs. Wallace: Whoo! Holy moly, it's working. The angels are coming, the angels are coming!
Mrs. Wallace: Wow. This has never happened before.
Tabitha's voice: That's because you've never had a witch in your house before.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, the angels must really want to save Bethie from doing it with her daddy.
Tabitha: I don't know which is worse, facing the heavenly hit squad or listening to Edna bang her damn tambourine.
Theresa: Please, Whitney, tell Fox and Chad the truth. Tell them that Chad is the father of your baby.
Whitney: I can't do that.
Theresa: But, Whitney, you see what Fox is going through, and it's not even his baby.
Whitney: God, I wish I had fallen off that wharf and drowned.
Theresa: Just tell him the truth, Whitney. You owe him that.
Whitney: No, Theresa. The only person I owe anything to is my baby. I owe it to him to have a normal life without the shame of knowing where he came from.
Bartender: There you go.
Alistair: Drinking alone, Luis? Trouble in paradise?
Luis: That's none of your damn business.
Alistair: Oh, you and my daughter are at odds. I'll buy you a drink. We'll celebrate.
Luis: See, the bottom line is Sheridan and I love each other and, well, no one's going to come between us. Especially you, old man.
Alistair: You are so wrong, Luis. Something can come between you and Sheridan. Death.
Sheridan: You are not going to get away with stealing my baby, you carnival freak!
Beth: Stay away from me, Sheridan. I'm going to call Luis and tell him to come get you and take you back to the psych ward where I'm sure they've got some jumper cables with your name on them. Then I'm going to call my lawyer tomorrow and he's going to make sure that you never see Marty ever again.
Sheridan: You can't keep me from my son. I won't let you.
Beth: So tell it to the judge. You're whacked. You're a danger to me and my son.
Sheridan: No, Marty is my son.
Beth: No, he is my son, and I have the D.N.A. test to prove it.
Sheridan: The D.N.A. tests are wrong. I don't know how you did it, but they are wrong because Marty is my child!
Beth: All right, I've had enough of this. Ow!
Sheridan: No, you are not going anywhere!
Beth: The hell I'm not.
Mrs. Wallace: Stop the evil, angels! Stop the evil! Glory, glory, glory hallelujah hallelujah glory, glory glory, glory glory, glory hallelujah
Tabitha: Timmy always said there's forgiveness in heaven -- yeah, even for a witch like me. Yeah, well, maybe it's a good time to prove it now, hmm? Oh, just a suggestion!
Mrs. Wallace: Wait!
Mrs. Wallace: I can't ask the angels for help because the Lord helps those who help themselves.
Tabitha: Oh, more heavenly hokum -- or not, not, not. Oh, I'm just a witch. What do I know?
Mrs. Wallace: Ok. I am going to get in the car and I am going to find Beth. I'm going to stop her from committing an icky sin.
Mrs. Wallace: Thank you, angels. Thank you for giving me the heavenly hint as to what I have to do. Hello, angels? Well, I guess they're gone. Ok. Tabs, thank you so much for watching Marty. Now, I'm going to be out searching probably for the rest of the night, you know.
Tabitha: Yeah. Just close the cupboard before you go, Edna.
Mrs. Wallace: What do you mean, my altar?
Tabitha: Ooh. Ooh, my ears.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, no, Tabs. No. See, because I want you to pray for me. I want you to ask the angels to lead me to Beth, deliver us from the evil that's within our midst. Here you go.
Ethan: We need to talk.
Theresa: You're drinking.
Ethan: Oh, yeah. You bet.
Ethan: "Why?" Because you keep pushing and pushing and pushing, and I am doing my damnedest to try to not push back.
Theresa: I don't understand.
Ethan: No, no, that's my line. That "I don't understand" is my line. I don't understand why you're doing it. Why are you doing it? Why won't you just leave Gwen alone, huh? Why are you pushing it?
Theresa: Because she tried to kill me, Ethan, many times, again when we were on the island.
Ethan: Theresa, you had my baby. She was --
Theresa: Our baby. That's right. Gwen kidnapped our child, Ethan. I have every right to refile the charges against her.
Ethan: That's really not what this is about, is it? You know what this is about? This is about you trying to get back at her again and again, and me asking you point-blank to just stop the feud.
Theresa: Rebecca would've come after me if I didn't act first.
Ethan: No, she wouldn't have. No, she wouldn't have, but you better believe that she is going to now. Like hell she's going to now. She and Gwen both unless you drop these charges.
Theresa: I can't do that.
Ethan: You'd better. You'd better do it because you don't understand what kind of pressure I'm under here.
Ethan: Yeah. To go after you and to take you into court and to sue you for custody of Jane.
Fox: Whitney, come on, talk to me. Tell me why you gave away our baby.
Whitney: I told you, Fox, just leave me alone. I don't really want to talk to you right now.
Fox: Whitney, I still love you, all right? Just let me help you. I want to help you.
Whitney: I don't need your help. I just need to be by myself, ok?
Whitney: You don't know what I'm feeling and you don't know where I've been and I'm sure
T.C.: That's Whitney.
Whitney: I don't know where I'm going
Liz: So it is, following in her mother's footsteps.
T.C.: Not if I can help it.
Whitney: Love's been torn away my life has lost its meaning my soul's dark within ooh, ooh my heart is so broken I can't tell the night from the day
Mrs. Wallace: Oh. It's a miracle.
Tabitha: What, that I'm not dead yet?
Mrs. Wallace: We have just been a witness to the power of prayer, Tabitha. Glory, glory hallelujah glory, glory, glory hallelujah
Tabitha: Oh, my Godzilla. They're still here.
Mrs. Wallace: I am going to go find Beth, and I am going to stop her from making a terrible, terrible mistake. Oh, Tabs? May all the angels in heaven keep you and bless you.
Tabitha: Oh. Just a thank-you would be perfectly adequate, dear.
Mrs. Wallace: Glory, glory hallelujah glory, glory hallelujah
Tabitha: You're not going anywhere, though, are you? I'll take that as a no. All right, then. I might as well make myself comfortable, as comfortable as a witch can be grounded and surrounded by angels.
Whitney: Everyone I thought I really knew mmm must have only lived in my dreams and my world has changed right before my eyes the truth isn't always what it seems and, oh, I, I can't believe it's like the whole world is falling, falling on me oh, I
Fox's voice: How can Whitney sing her heart out after being heartless enough to turn her back on me and our child? I just don't get what's going on with her, but something is. Something's driving Whitney to act this way. But what?
Whitney: Something went wrong and I can't believe can't find my way I'm blind I'm feeling so confused my heart stopped its beating
Liz: T.C., please, don't try to stop Whitney from singing. It's only going to make matters worse. That's the last thing anyone needs tonight.
T.C.: You're right. But just knowing what singing can lead to -- like with Eve -- I am not going to let Whitney follow in her footsteps. I have to get my daughters back on track, and we have to get our grandson away from Chad.
Liz: We will, honey, I promise. The lawyer will find grounds to overturn the adoption and we will raise Whitney's baby.
Whitney: I no longer know
T.C.: You're right, baby. I can't imagine what my life would be like without you.
Liz: Well, good, because I will always be here for you, T.C. always.
Whitney: I can't believe
Rebecca: Honey, you need to relax. Look, Theresa has cooked her own goose this time by having you re-arrested. I mean, Ethan knows that he cannot trust her now. Of course, he should've figured that out when she married Julian or before that when she released the information that he was actually a Bennett. But better late than never.
Gwen: Ok, you keep forgetting that we were the ones who sent Theresa's files to the tabloid, and if Ethan ever finds that out, I'm going to lose him forever.
Rebecca: Well, he won't. But you have to stop frowning or I am going to have to break out the Botox. Look, Ethan is going to sue Theresa for permanent custody of Jane, and Theresa is going to be out of our lives and her spell on Ethan is going to be broken for good.
Ethan: If you don't drop the charges against Gwen, I will be forced to take you into court and sue you for custody of Jane.
Theresa: You can't do that, Ethan. Jane is my child.
Ethan: Yeah, yeah, she is. You know what she also is? She's my child. And I will do it and I can do it if you force my hand.
Theresa: No, you won't.
Ethan: If you don't drop these charges against Gwen, I'm not going to have a choice.
Theresa: You won't do it, Ethan. It's as simple as that.
Ethan: I won't do it? And let me ask you something. How can you be so sure of that?
Whitney: I can't believe
Whitney: And my world has changed right before my eyes the truth isn't always what it means and, oh, I, I can't believe that the whole world
Alistair: At your service. Use this to kill Sheridan. Put an end to her threatening your future with Luis and Marty once and for all.
Whitney: I no longer know
Sheridan: Beth, get up and get out here! I am not finished with you yet.
Whitney: I can't believe
Beth: I'm not finished with you, either, Sheridan. But I will be soon.
Whitney: Can't find my way I'm blind I'm feeling so
On the Next Passions:
Julian: No matter what happens, you and Whitney are through forever.
Fox: I want the truth, Whitney! Just tell me the truth.
Rebecca: Ethan, what the hell is going on here?
Beth: Time's up, Sheridan. Party's over.
