nt then help me bring him down.

Martin: How?

Luis: Tell me your secret. Tell me what Alistair did that made you abandon us. Tell me the truth.

Katherine: Don't play games with me, Alistair. What do you mean? Who's after Sheridan?

Gwen: You sick old man. You tell us right now who's at her door.

Alistair: You know, it's a pity you two aren't there to warn her. But the person who's at Sheridan's door will destroy her life forever. Hmm.

Sheridan: What are you doing here? Why are you looking at me like that?

Chad: You know, for months I have told you and told you I wanted to help with the baby, even when Fox was pushing me away. And for what, Whitney? God, I can't believe I was so blind!

Ethan: Chad, take it easy.

Chad: No, Ethan! Have you not heard a word I said?

Ethan: Yes! I've heard you. Just hold on a second. Whitney, what is going on here? Is he speaking the truth? Are you giving up this baby for adoption?

Whitney: Yes, I am.

Ethan: Why would you do that?

Whitney: What, I have to explain myself to everyone in Harmony now?

Ethan: No, I'm not everyone. I'm your friend. Did you know about this?

Theresa: Ethan, I didn't think that she'd really go through with it.

Whitney: Well, I got a news flash for all of you -- I did. Yes, I put my child up for adoption, and you know what? It's the best thing I ever could have done for me or my baby, so you guys need to get used to it.

Ethan: How can you even say something like that? What about Fox? You know how excited he's been about this baby? I mean, does he know about this?

Whitney: No, he doesnít.

Chad: You know, Whitney, I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad we found out we were brother and sister so we had to break up. God, how could you do that to someone who you're supposed to love, Whitney?

Whitney: Oh, now, isn't this funny, you sticking up for Fox like this. I mean, usually the two of you are at each other's throats. And I'll go ahead and tell you. As for Fox wanting this baby, you know, he thinks he likes the idea of having a little mini-Fox running around, but he hasn't thought it through! He has no idea what it's like to have a child. You know, sleepless nights and colic and fever. Look, it's just not fun, ok?

Theresa: It can be.

Ethan: You're not even giving him a chance.

Whitney: Ethan, Fox is a Crane. He's going to do what all the Crane men do when they're faced with responsibilities. He's going to hightail it and run.

Ethan: He said he'd marry you.

Whitney: But I don't want to marry him. So then what's Fox going to do, huh? He's going to stick around for some single woman and their bastard son? No. No. He's just going to take off to Tahiti or Europe or somewhere and live his billionaire lifestyle and leave me stuck at home with his baby. I don't think so.

Chad: "Stuck"? God, Whitney, how could you say that about your own child?

Whitney: I don't want to be a single mother, Chad. That's it.

Chad: Whitney, you don't have to be. Like I said, I would be there for you and the baby.

Whitney: You are my brother. God, we can't be together, no matter what kind of stupid ideas you have for us. You can't be a part of my life. So I want you to really think about what my life would be. What are my choices? Either I'm stuck 24/7 with this crying baby, or I decide to go ahead and have a life and pursue my singing career and I hand my baby over to the Cranes. Now, tell me what kind of life that would be. Ethan, come on. You know.

Ethan: Whitney, it could be a life of opportunity, for god's sake.

Whitney: It's a life devoid of love, Ethan, humanity. My son would be raised by nannies and shipped off to boarding school before he could even speak. And I'm sorry, but I don't want that for my son. No, no, I want him to have a close family. And if I give him away to a family that wants him, they're going to make sure that he has that. They're going to love him, you know, they're going to raise him up right and appreciate him, which is more than what I've been able to do for him, so that's my choice -- adoption. And there's nothing any of you can say to change my mind.

Luis: Spit it out. God, what horrible thing did Alistair do? I need to stop that monster before he has another chance to hurt Marty.

Martin: No, wait, what do you mean?

Luis: See, today was just a warning. He said that if I didn't stop my crusade to bring him down that he was really going to hurt Marty.

Martin: Oh, he never stops.

Luis: Well, you know what? Neither do I. I'm telling you, if I have the right ammunition, I can not only protect the people I love, but I can bring Alistair down. Just tell me your secret. For the sake of your grandson, please. What horrible thing did Alistair do that made you abandon your own family?

Katherine: You tell me, Alistair, what's happened to Sheridan? What have you done to her or to Martin? You promised me that you would leave everyone I love alone.

Alistair: And so I am, my dear. I mean, Sheridan's new fate has got nothing to do with me. Well, I can't help if a little bird, you know, whispered in my ear of her new problems.

Gwen: Oh, you are such a liar.

Alistair: Will you stop trying to insult the host?

Gwen: The host? More like our jailer.

Katherine: Alistair, please. No matter what has happened, this is your daughter, this is your child. You're more powerful than anyone on the earth -- or almost -- so save her, help her.

Gwen: Alistair, you owe her after all the horrible things you've done to her.

Alistair: Right. Yeah, I trust that the housekeeper stocked some decent brandy, huh?

Fox: Not too shabby.

Gwen: Don't you dare stand there and ignore me.

Alistair: Don't you find that everything tastes just a little bit better when you're standing on a foreign shore, hmm?

Gwen: Fox, will you please talk to him? He is your grandfather. He will listen to you. Please.

Fox: Well, I can't talk to Grandpappy. Never could. Isn't that right, sir?

Alistair: Right.

Fox: Tell you what I could use, though -- a couple more fingers of this here brandy.

Alistair: Ah, a Crane right after my own heart.

Gwen: Oh, well, this is just great, Fox. This is just great. So you just revert back to being a Crane, huh? You know, you are as bad as your father used to be.

Fox: Bad? Bad? It seems to me that my dad has blown it with all this new morality stuff of his. Being a Crane is a blast, Gwen. Why not enjoy it?

Katherine: Alistair, please, I'm begging you, help your daughter. With one phone call, you can send armies into half the countries over the earth. Save your own daughter.

Alistair: My hands are tied, Katherine. Whatever happens to Sheridan she brought on herself.

Sheridan: Would you please stop looking at me like that? All right? What is it? What -- what are you doing here? Tell me. You're making me nervous!

Beth: I came to get my son back. You let him wander off by himself? A toddler? I want my son now, Sheridan. I will never let you have him again.

Sheridan: Beth, Marty is fine now, ok? He's taking a nap. How did you know he was gone, anyway?

Beth: Who's this?

Alistair: Alistair Crane, my dear. The seeds of our little plan are already bearing fruit.

Beth: Well, what do you mean?

Alistair: When my idiot daughter wasn't looking, I took young Marty from his stroller outside her cottage.

Beth: What? You -- you kidnapped him?

Alistair: That's no way to talk. The boy deserves to spend some time with his grandfather. I can teach him the strengths he'll need to grow up without his mother. But no matter. Naturally, Luis and Sheridan panicked and called out half the police in the state. More of my tax dollars being wasted. But Martyís back with his mommy now. So pay her a little visit for step two.

Beth: Of course I knew Marty was gone. The entire police force is out looking for him. Look, how could you just let him wander off like that?

Sheridan: Beth, you are so wrong. Ok? You don't know the whole story. My father kidnapped him.

Beth: Kidnapped? Your own father?

Sheridan: Yes. That man is a monster.

Beth: Sheridan, you -- ok. Yeah, well -- I know you've been wacked ever since you were kidnapped and you lost your poor child, but honestly, you can't blame your father for everything.

Sheridan: Wait a minute. But he did. My father did kidnap him. I left Marty outside, and when I came by --

Beth: Wait, wait. You left Marty outside? Alone?

Sheridan: Well, yeah, I left him there just for a second.

Beth: Do you know what can happen to a child in a second? I don't know what I was thinking. I never should have let you keep Marty unsupervised. You know, half the town knows that you're mentally unstable, and you aren't his mother. You don't have the protective instincts that I do.

Sheridan: Beth, you are so wrong. I love Marty, and he is perfectly fine. It's not my fault that Alistair kidnapped him. Marty is safe outside the cottage on an estate with armed guards.

Beth: Yeah, well, if he was so damn safe, how come no one knew he was gone? I am taking my son home right this minute!

Luis: Come on. Come on, just tell me.

Martin: I want to.

Luis: Well, then tell me! You know, for decades, Alistair has committed crimes on a massive scale, and no one has ever been able to bring him down, because they were threatened or paid off or -- well, who the hell knows? Maybe their bodies are lying in unmarked graves.

Martin: You don't understand what you're asking me.

Luis: No, I do. Now, I know your secret has something to do with the gazebo that you built on the Crane estate. Come on, you said that you were going to tell me what it was, and in a heartbeat, Alistair had the damn thing torn down. We can make him pay. We can make him pay for kidnapping Marty, for killing Antonio. Just tell me what happened.

Martin: It's time. It's long past time. Damn. You don't understand. What Alistair did -- if I told you, it would cause so much more pain.

Luis: You know, if you don't tell me, then you might as well be in Alistair's payroll, because I can guarantee you that he's just going to continue to hurt the people you say you love.

Chad: You know, you put on a good act. I thought you were someone I could spend the rest of my life with -- decent, loving. Well, you suckered me good. No, you're just shallow, you're selfish, and you're cold.

Theresa: Don't judge her, Chad.

Chad: Why not? Why not? Someone needs to speak the truth around here. That baby deserves better than you, Whitney.

Whitney: Well, you're right about that. He does.

Chad: But where do you get off making a decision like that for Fox, huh? Now, you say all these nasty things about the Cranes when you're as bad as they are. And I'm a Crane. I don't feel that way about the baby, so why do you think Fox would? You know, it's no secret, I'm not a big fan of his, but, you know, he seemed really, really happy that that baby was coming. Why do you think he would desert him? Oh, Whitney, what are you going to do when he comes back in town and finds out what you've done?

Ethan's voice: Alistair says he's not coming back to town, ever.

Whitney's voice: It doesn't matter when Fox gets back. It'll all be over by then.

Chad: Ethan, can she do this? Can she give Fox's baby away without his permission?

Ethan: Yeah. Yeah, she can. He gave her his power of attorney before he left. I helped him do it. And if he doesn't come back to contest it, that adoption is final.

Katherine: Poor Sheridan. To have a father that despises her --

Alistair: Oh, you're not -- your hysterics have always been a crashing bore to me, Katherine. But I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll make a call, see if I can help Sheridan any.

Katherine: Really?

Alistair: Yes, really, because my word is always my bond, right?

Katherine: No. But just in case, thank you.

Alistair: "Thank you." I don't think words are quite enough after the action I took to save Sheridan. No, I think that you have to exert some action yourself. You know how tense I get after these long flights? I was thinking of having some comfort with you on my bed tonight. I mean, come on, after all, fair is fair, right? I mean, your ex-lover is with his wife and that dreary family of his. And he didn't even try to find you. So your choice of men was absolutely putrid as far as I can say.

Katherine: Just the opposite, Alistair. He respected my choice. He understood why I left. I left so he would reunite with his family, so Luis and Sheridan would find some happiness together.

Alistair: Oh, happiness is an overrated emotion. I mean, dogs are happy. Don't you understand something? Martin has made his choice. He's with Pilar. You have made your choice. And you are with me. Agh -- stop it!

Martin: I do love my family, Luis. That's why I left. I mean, it killed me to do it, but I gave you all up to protect you.

Luis: Then prove it. Help me bring Alistair down. Just tell me your secret. Tell me what it was that made you abandon us.

Martin: I can't, son. You just don't understand.

Luis: Oh, I understand. I understand plenty.

Katherine: Alistair told me that if you tell the reason that you left, it will destroy Sheridan.

Martin: I'm sorry. You just don't get it.

Luis: Yeah, I get it. My father's nothing but a liar and a coward.

Katherine: No, Alistair, please.

Alistair: I told you, no one ever reneges on a deal with me.

Gwen: Fox, stop him!

Fox: Who am I to interfere in their marriage, huh?

Gwen: What is wrong with you? You're just going to sit there drinking like some stupid playboy and not do anything?

Fox: Look, Gwen, I have to keep up my strength, ok? Grandfather promised me some women.

Gwen: Who the hell are you? What is wrong with you? Whitney gives you a son, you don't care to get out of here to see him? You grandmother is being attacked! Help her!

Fox: And what do you want me to do, give up all this luxury so I can go visit some brat in smelly diapers?

Gwen: Fine, you know what? If you're not going to help her, I am!

Alistair: Stop fighting me, Katherine!

Gwen: Leave her alone! Leave her alone! Ow! Ow.

Katherine: Oh, Gwen -- Gwen, are you all right? Are you all right? Move carefully.

Gwen: Yeah, I think so.

Fox: Ready for that drink now, Gwen?

Gwen: Shut up.

Katherine: You stupid man. You could have seriously hurt her.

Alistair: It's all your fault, Katherine. If you'd acquiesced to my attentions with a certain amount of grace, this wouldn't have happened. Now, I can hurt her again if you don't do what I told you to do -- go to your bedroom. There's a charming gift waiting for you.

Katherine: I received your negligee, Alistair.

Alistair: Oh. No, that gift was sent to a fine lady. You don't deserve that anymore. This gift is for a scheming little tart. Now, I want you to go to your bedroom, put it on, and wait for me.

Gwen: No, no, no. No. Don't go. Don't go. You don't have to give in to him. You don't have to give in to him.

Katherine: Gwen -- Gwen, I have to go.

Gwen: No, you donít.

Katherine: It's the price I have to pay to protect Martin and Sheridan's family. It's ok, it's all right.

Gwen: No, please --

Katherine: It'll just be all right.

Gwen: Please, don't go.

Katherine: It's ok. It's ok.

Gwen: Katherine, please don't do this. Please don't do this. You don't have to do this. Katherine, don't go! Get --ow! Get off of me!

Alistair: You know, Gwen, you've got to stop worrying about Katherine's problems. Start looking at your own problems.

Gwen: You're my problem, you sick freak! Let me go!

Alistair: Well, that's true, my love, but I'm only one of your problems. There's Theresa. You know, it's too bad that you weren't around to see how close Ethan and Theresa have gotten. I mean, there's no -- nothing wrong with that, because after all, it is spring, and a young man's fancy turns to love.

Theresa: Ethan, I don't agree with Whitney giving her baby up for adoption. But I'm her friend, and I'm here to help her, no matter what.

Chad: There's nothing more to say to you. I can't believe you did this.

Whitney: Oh, god, Chad, who cares? I mean, this is none of your business, anyway. Why don't you just get out of here?

Ethan: Good job. Who are you going to throw out of your life next, Whitney, huh? Chad?

Theresa: Look, Whitney, I meant what I said. I'm your friend, and I am here for you no matter what, but you have got to tell Chad the truth.

Whitney: I can't do that.

Theresa: Tell him that he's the father of your baby and that's why you're placing him up for adoption.

Whitney: Oh, right. I just go up to him and say, "by the way, brother Chad, you're the father of my baby, and I gave him up because I was terrified of him growing up with a horrible stigma for the rest of his life"?

Chad: What stigma? Whitney, why would your baby grow up with a horrible stigma?

Beth: Where's Marty? I want my son.

Sheridan: No, you cannot take him. He is supposed to say here for at least a couple more days.

Beth: Yeah, that was before you lost him.

Sheridan: I didn't lose him. My father kidnapped him.

Beth: Oh, god -- tell it to your shrink. I want my son!

Sheridan: Ok, you don't understand. You do not know my father and what he's capable of.

Beth: Maybe not, but so what? I do know that any woman who has ever picked up a copy of Dr. Spock's knows that you can't turn your back on a toddler for an instant, much less leave him unattended outside in a stroller?

Sheridan: He was strapped in.

Beth: Ugh. Little kids have curious little fingers. Are you insane? I mean, the estate -- it has pools and fountains, ponds, an artificial lake. God, he could have drowned! Not to mention the cliffs with the steep slope down into the ocean, or what about the cars driving up, or the delivery trucks speeding up here on the service roads? You turn your head for a second, and, bam, Marty's mush!

Sheridan: I know, I'm really sorry, and I feel really guilty, but, Beth, I can promise you, Marty is safe here with me.

Beth: Well, I can't take that chance. I'm going to take him now.

Sheridan: No, Beth, please, no.

Beth: Let go of me, you stupid blond!

[Distorted voice] Who the hell else would it be but me, you stupid blond?

[Normal voice] Why -- why are you looking at me like that? What is wrong?

Sheridan: Oh, my god. The clown.

Gwen: Ugh. You liar. He is not with Theresa. Alistair, let me go home. I want to go home so I can be a family with Ethan and Ashley! We are a family!

Alistair: Ashley is Theresaís baby.

Gwen: No, she is not! She is my daughter! Ashley is my daughter!

Alistair: She is not your biological child. And actually, I'm doing you a favor by keeping you here, because Ethan's already in the arms of Theresa. You get the chance now to keep Theresaís baby. But if you go back to Harmony, you get to love nobody. Now, sweet dreams to you, little Gwen. Katherine is waiting for me.

Gwen: Alistair, please don't keep me here.

Alistair: Agh.

Gwen: Please don't keep me here, Alistair! I want to go home! Please don't keep me here! Fox, please. Please help me. You came here to rescue me, right? You came here to rescue me and your grandmother. Please. This whole thing, this playboy is just an act, right? Please help me. I want to go home.

Fox: Gwen, I need more brandy.

Gwen: Fox, please! I know you're not like this! I don't want to rot here! Please. Please, I want to go home. I want to see Ethan, and I know in my heart that you want to see Whitney and your baby! I know you do! Please, help me!

Chad: Well? What stigma would your baby have?

Whitney: Well, I mean, you -- you would know. I'm talking about the stigma of being a black Crane. Think about the way Alistair treats you, you know? Think about all the horrible things he says to you.

Chad: Yeah, but that's no reason to give up a child, Whitney. Yeah, Alistair is a racist, but he's also old and he's not going to be around forever.

Whitney: Oh, god. Look, I've made up my mind, ok?

Chad: You know, Ethan told me to come back in here and talk to you. I don't know why I bothered. You know, you disappoint me, Whitney. You're a disappointment to everybody.

Whitney: Well, who cares what you think, Chad? Certainly not me. Damn him. I mean, can you believe him?

Whitney: What am I going to do? I gave up my baby, Theresa!

Martin: Luis, you just -- you just don't understand.

Luis: Yeah, sure, I do. You're going to let me fight Alistair alone.

Martin: No, no. I'll help you, I swear.

Luis: Well, then tell me your secret!

Martin: I -- I canít.

Luis: Then you're nothing but a coward. You know, I wouldn't even have to fight Alistair if you'd have stood up to him all those years ago. You want to reconcile with us? Then open your mouth and help me destroy your family's enemy.

Martin: Please don't -- don't do this.

Luis: No, you know what, then? I don't want to hear it, ok? I mean, what kind of a man has a chance to help his family and then doesn't?

Beth: What is it, Sheridan? What's wrong?

Sheridan: Oh, my god. The clown. The clown.

Beth: [Distorted voice] Die, Sheridan, die!

[Normal voice] Well, what, what? Have you gone around the bend again, Sheridan? What is this talk about a clown?

Sheridan: The clown. Oh, god, the clown.

Luis: You know what? I know what kind of man you are. You're nothing but a sniveling coward, and I can't believe that Mama has actually fallen for your act. She wants us all to forgive you? Now, I'm the only one who's figured out the truth.

Martin: Son, if you'd just put aside your anger and listen to me, I --

Luis: No, you know something? The time for listening is over. Who knew? Who knew my dad was just a big nothing? You want to know something else? You know, when I was young, kids would say, "hey, where's your father?" I used to say he's off fighting dragons, you know, making the world safe. What an idiot I was. And, you know, I -- I wanted so badly to be proud of you, and I worked so hard to make you proud of me.

Martin: I am, son.

Luis: And you know what? Now that you're back and I see what kind of man you are, I don't care. I don't want a man like you for a father.

Theresa: You know, it's not too late. You got 72 hours to change your mind and reverse the adoption.

Whitney: No, I canít. Look, I know what I'm doing is the right thing for my baby. If he's with another family, he's going to be safe. No one's going to know that he's a product of incest, you know?

Theresa: Whitney --

Whitney: Theresa, honey, can I just have a little bit of time to myself? Is that ok?

Theresa: Ok. But I'm going to stay close.

Whitney: Ok.

Whitney: Oh, my god. My little baby boy.

Ethan: All right, look, look. We can track Fox down, we can find him and bring him back before the 72 hours is up, because only he can put an end to this nonsense.

Chad: No.

Ethan: No?

Theresa: Chad, why not? Now, you know Whitney's not thinking straight. This adoption thing, it's completely wrong. Why won't you go find Fox and set things right?

Chad: Why should I, Theresa? Fox never helped me. Why should I put myself out for him?

Theresa: Chad --

Chad: Look, I'm just being practical. Whitney told me to mind my own business. So be it. It's her baby. I don't care what the hell she does with it.

Theresa's voice: Oh, Chad. If you only knew the truth.

Gwen: Fox, please. Listen, I know this has got to be an act. I know that you are not really a playboy, ok? I saw the way you were with Whitney. I saw how much you loved her. You were so excited to be a father. Please, please help me escape from here. I want to go home to Ethan, and I know you want to go home to Whitney. Please help me.

Fox: Right. Look, here's the thing, Gwen. I feel for you. I mean, really, I do, but don't you think you're overreacting here just a tad? Leave it to Grandfather -- only the best from sunny Cuba.

Gwen: Damn it, Fox. Will you please help me?

Fox: Look, Gwen, Alistair's right, ok? If you stay here, you get to keep Ashley or Jane whatever the hell it is you're calling the little rug rat these days, so just shut up and be happy for what you have. They treat you like a queen here. Relax and enjoy it.

Gwen: Ok, fine, and what about your grandmother? Is your grandmother just supposed to sit back, relax, and enjoy it when Alistair's every touch makes her want to vomit?

Katherine: Oh. Oh, dear god, please. I pray you're listening to me. Please be with me. Make this sacrifice mean something. Keep Sheridan safe, and my Martin. They so deserve your favor. They so deserve your love. I'd hate to think that I left my daughter and the man I love so much behind for nothing.

Beth: Sheridan, what's wrong? You're scaring me. Sheridan? Sheridan?

Sheridan: I -- I have to sit down for a second. I -- I have to figure something out.

Beth's voice: She can't remember that I'm the clown that kidnapped her. She never saw my face.

Beth: Sheridan, you look white as a sheet. Do you want me to call your doctor?

Sheridan: No. No. I just had a flashback right now to when I was kidnapped. The clown. When you called me a stupid blond -- that's what the clown called me.

Beth: Not a chance. Sheridan, don't play on my sympathy here. Listen, I am sorry that you were kidnapped and that your baby was killed. But that's when you went off your rocker. It's one more reason that I need to take Marty away from here. I do not want some crazy woman taking care of my baby for one more second.

Sheridan: Beth, you are wrong, because I love Marty, and he is safe here with me.

Beth: Look, even if you were mentally capable of taking care of him, you're not his mother. You don't have the same instincts for him that I do.

Sheridan: You're wrong, Beth. I have instincts, more than you.

Beth: Oh, and how could that be? Because Marty isn't your son.

Sheridan: Yes, he is. And I love him as much as you, more than you, because Marty is my son.

Luis: Damn coward. I'll go after Alistair myself.

Martin: No, Luis, no. Listen to me.

Luis: No, you know what? I've never been able to count on you before. And now I know I never will.

Martin: Damn it. You don't know how much I want to tell you what Alistair did. It's like a cancer inside me that I can't cut out. And I never can if I want to protect those I love. God, you don't know how much I love you. And, Katherine -- dear god, wherever you are, please, be free of Alistair's wrath.

Katherine: Oh, Martin, my dear love, I'm so glad you can't see me like this. I miss you so much. But I know I did the right thing leaving Harmony, for my dear Sheridan, for you, and for Luis.

Alistair: Are you talking to yourself, hmm? You know, your daughter, your lover, and his Neanderthal son are out of your life forever. The only one in your thoughts should be me, because for the rest of your life, your only function is to please me.

Katherine: Ah -- um --

Alistair: Ugh!

Katherine: Oh!

Alistair: Oh, Katherine, I am going to love breaking you like a young colt. And I'll make you forget Martin once and for all.

Fox: Look, if you think I'm going to get between Katherine and my grandfather, you're crazy, all right? Bad things happen to people who cross that guy.

Gwen: She's your grandmother.

Fox: Well, she made her bed, Gwen. Let her lie in it -- literally.

Gwen: You know, you are such a pig. I can't even believe I didn't see this before. And now what, you're just going to leave Whitney so she can raise your son by herself? You don't even care?

Fox: She'll get by.

Gwen: That's just great. You know, I guess all the boarding schools didn't teach you what the word "honor" means. But I'm certainly not going to stand here and be treated like this. Come hell or high water, I'm going to climb my way out of this ridiculous velvet prison and I'm going to go home and I'm going to be a family with my baby and with Ethan. But I'm going to remember tonight, I'm going to remember the way you acted and that you didn't help me. I used to think you were a man, but you are nothing more than a snake.

Theresa: You ok?

Ethan: Whitney, listen, I'm sorry if I was short with you earlier. I don't understand what you've done, but Chad had no right to say those things to you.

Whitney: Look, I don't really care what anyone says. I just want what's best for my baby. He's the one that comes first. And what you and Chad or anyone else thinks doesn't really mean a thing to me. I know what I'm doing is right.

Chad: Yeah, Whitney, I'm going to do the best thing, too. The only thing. Yeah, this is Chad Harris. Listen, I need your help.

Beth: I knew you were a wacko, ranting and raving. You're nuts, talking about clowns and blaming your father because Marty ran away from you? And now you're claiming that Marty's your son again? This is unbelievable. Well, I am not going to let some loony tune take care of my son. Marty comes home with me now.

Sheridan: No. No, no, no. You are not taking him.

Beth: Get out of my way!

Sheridan: No! Marty is supposed to stay here!

Beth: It ain't going to happen!

Sheridan: Oh!

Beth: I'd rather see you die than take Marty away from me, you stupid blond.
