Mrs. Wallace: Hey, what is all this?
Beth: Mmm. You put me in such a good mood, I just feel like celebrating.
Mrs. Wallace: Me?
Beth: Yeah. You know, I was so upset over Luis wanting to share custody of Marty, but you -- you made me see the silver lining. Oh, my gosh, these are so good.
Mrs. Wallace: Well, you know -- no, thanks -- you know, Luis is Marty's father. You know, he does deserve to share custody.
Beth: Yeah, but he only wants him so Sheridan can have a child. He thinks that Marty will make Sheridan forget about the tragic loss of her own baby.
Mrs. Wallace: Well, Marty is her own baby, you cookie monster!
Beth: Ah, details, details. I mean, there's no way I'm going to let Sheridan get her hands on Marty, so she's going to get more and more depressed and upset, and, voila, she's going to fall right over the edge into out-and-out madness! Then she's going to be locked away for life, and then Luis, Marty, and me are going to be a happy family at last.
Mrs. Wallace: That's delusional, and you are evil, evil, evil!
Beth: Ah, please. Life's tough. It's just how the cookie crumbles.
Sheridan: Luis, when we were out at the airport and my mother took off in the Crane jet, we had a horrible fight, and we need to talk about it.
Luis: Of course. And I feel terrible. If there's anything that I can say or do to make you feel better --
Sheridan: No, no, it was me. And that's why there's something very important that I need to say to you, something about our future.
Luis: Well, what is it? What do you want to tell me about our future?
Theresa: That's why you can't go through with it. Your plan went right out the window.
Whitney: Oh, my god, I didn't even think of that.
Theresa: Well, I'm glad I did.
Whitney: Theresa, you're not helping me.
Theresa: Whitney, you're going to thank me later on for keeping you from making the biggest mistake of your life -- giving up your innocent baby.
Whitney: I don't have a choice. I cannot keep Chad's baby. He's my brother. It's a Crane baby. It'll be stigmatized for life. Adoption is the only chance it'll have a good life. Adoption is my only hope. It's my only chance.
Theresa: I don't know how you're going to get around that, Whitney, no matter what you do.
Katherine: I can't do it. I can't do it! No, I can't do it.
[Knock on door]
Gwen: Katherine, are you ok? Oh, my god, what's going on?
Katherine: I'd rather be dead.
Gwen: Wait, what happened?
Katherine: I'm Alistair's captive. I should have known. Why didn't I know? I never should have trusted him to help me leave Martin. And now I'm -- I'm now his prisoner. I'm his prisoner.
Ethan: What is that? What is that sound? Come on, come on. Have you found them or what? What's going on?
Fox: Hang on! Hang on a second.
Ethan: Oh, Fox. God, what were you thinking, putting a tracer on Alistair's phone? You know if he finds out he's going to kill you, right?
Fox: Probably literally. Grandpappy Crane is one mean son of a -- hold it.
Ethan: What? What? What?
Fox: Oh, no, there's nothing yet. I just hope Alistair stayed on the phone long enough for his call to be traced, to find out where Gwen and the baby are. We both have a lot riding on this, you know. I promised Whitney that I'd bring baby Jane home to Theresa, and you -- good luck with your situation, brother. Because if Gwen comes home, you're going to be faced with the decision of your life. What will our contestant do, ladies and gentlemen? Will he choose door number one, behind which is the lovely Theresa, who he secretly loves? Or will it be door number two, his wife, Gwen, who likes to solve her problems with a sharp scalpel?
Ethan: Look, funny guy, please, that's enough, I think, ok?
Fox: Wait, hold it, hold on a second.
Ethan: What? Did you find them? Did you find Gwen and Jane?
Fox: You may want to sit down for this, elder brother.
Whitney: Oh, god, what else can go wrong? This is a complete nightmare.
Theresa: There's no way you can get around that, Whitney. You can't give up your baby for adoption. It says right there that by law you need both parents' signed permission. "Both" means the mother and the father.
Whitney: Yeah, I know exactly what "both" means, thank you.
Theresa: Well, good.
Whitney: Now all Fox ever talks about is the baby, how much he wants a real family, how he wants to be a great father. He'd never give his permission to give up the baby. I mean, the baby that he thinks is his.
Theresa: And I know you're not going to do the right thing and tell Chad the truth because then your secret would be out, and he would know that it's his baby that you're carrying because there's no way he would want you to give up his baby either.
Whitney: Can you please stop? Because everything you're saying is reminding me that there's no way out.
Theresa: I'm just trying to help you, Whitney. There's no way around that. You can't give up your baby.
Katherine: I threw my pride away because I so much wanted to help my daughter, because I wanted to help Martin get back with his family, so I asked Alistair to help me leave Harmony and disappear.
Gwen: The plane and the pilot -- it was for you?
Katherine: Why did I let my guard down? What was I thinking? I guess I thought that Alistair would for once, just once, do the right thing, the human thing, and help me without asking for anything. But I forgot -- Alistair isn't human. Whatever happened to him years ago -- it hardened his heart, it withered his heart, replaced it with a ledger book. Because everything that Alistair sees in his life is profit or loss, and he expended his time and his effort to help me leave town, so I owe him my time and my effort to pay him back. His profit, my loss.
Gwen: Your time and effort?
Katherine: That arrived for me earlier from a messenger.
Gwen: Oh, god.
Katherine: And Alistair called, and he wants me to -- I'm his captive, I'm his prisoner. This beautiful island, this lovely estate is nothing but his spider web.
Gwen: Yeah, we walked right -- right into it. Well, Katherine, you can't stay here. You need to leave here, and the sooner the better.
Katherine: I can't.
Gwen: Katherine, you don't have any other choice. And frankly, I can't stay here with Ashley much longer either. I mean, god only knows what Alistair would want of me, so we need to go. Look, let's just -- we can just go someplace else, someplace where Alistair can't find us and no one knows him.
Katherine: Gwen --
Gwen: Katherine, please don't say no. Listen, we can just -- we can just disappear together, far away somewhere, and no one will find us.
Ethan: Fox, I don't want to sit down. I want you to spit it out, all right? Did you find where Alistair is hiding Katherine and Jane and the woman I love? Did you find them or what?
Fox: The woman you love? Theresa's in the kitchen.
Ethan: Fox, come on! Come on. What'd you find?
Fox: All right, yes, yes. I found them. I know where they're hidden. I got the country, I got the location, I got the exact point. Now all I have to do is go there, grab them, and bring them home -- your baby daughter and the "woman you love."
Eve: I think you guys could use a little privacy. How about I go make some tea?
Luis: So, you want to tell me about our future?
Sheridan: Luis --
Luis: Can I just tell you something first, though? Look, when we had that awful fight earlier, I just -- well, I feel terrible about it.
Sheridan: Well, I'm the one that went crazy. I screamed at you.
Luis: No, I -- we both know that sometimes my temper can get a little out of control, and -- Sheridan, when I thought I lost you, it was like something died inside, and that's why I went over to Beth's.
Sheridan: Thank god. I could have died from that gas leak.
Luis: But you didn't.
Sheridan: Yeah, because of you.
Luis: Yeah. You probably don't even know this, but you were so out of it from the gas, when you first came to, you said, "I love you," and -- well, I just don't know if you know how much that meant to me.
Sheridan: I love you, Luis, more than I can say.
Luis: What? You do?
Luis: Oh, my -- thank god! Because when you told me that you wanted to talk about our future, I thought that you were going to tell me that you didn't love me anymore.
Sheridan: No! God, no.
Luis: Oh, god. Well, I love you, too. Listen, I -- I know that I haven't been as supportive as I could be because it's just really hard for me to get past everything that my father and that your mother have done, ok, but I'm going to try. I promise you, I'm going to try as hard as I can.
Sheridan: Well, that's -- that's part of it, Luis, but there's still more to it.
Luis: All right, well, fine. You know, whatever it is, we'll get through it. We'll get through this all together.
Sheridan: Ok, ok, Luis, there's something that I need to tell you. I know that you wanted me to accept that Marty is not our son.
Sheridan: And I know that I said that I did. But I lied. I can't, and I don't know if I ever can.
Luis: Oh. Sheridan --
Sheridan: Luis, I'm so sorry, all right? I just -- I can't stop fighting this feeling in my heart because I believe that Marty is our son, and this feeling -- it's just not going away, and I don't know if it ever will.
Beth: Just think of it. Sheridan desperately needs a baby to stay sane. But I'm not going to let her have Marty, and I'm just going to keep making excuses to Luis to keep Marty away from her. She's not going to have a clue that Marty is her child.
Mrs. Wallace: Hello in there! She already has!
Beth: So what? She's going to have to convince Luis. That ain't happening. So eventually she's going to get so frustrated that her little blond brain is just going to fizzle out. And then the men in white coats are going to come and cart her away in a straitjacket. And then Luis will be mine, and it'll all work out fine for everyone.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, no. No, no, no. It's going to work fine for you, missy, only you.
Beth: Well, yeah. What else matters?
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, you are selfish, selfish, selfish, selfish!
Beth: I learned it from you.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, I could never, ever do anything like this!
Beth: Yeah, well, you were never smart enough.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh!
Beth: The only thing you ever wanted from a man was a bottle of gin and an hour between the sheets. But guess what, Mother -- I am smarter than you. I want it all. I'm going to have a family with Luis and Marty and me. And who knows? Maybe Luis and I can give Marty a little brother or sister. Oh, gosh! Wouldn't you just love to have another grandchild? Oh!
Mrs. Wallace: I don't have a grandchild now.
Beth: I mean, as soon as Sheridan's gone, my dreams are all going to come true.
Mrs. Wallace: Bethie, bethie, now, your plans, honey, always have a way of blowing up in your face. So what if Sheridan doesn't go crazy?
Beth: Um -- then I'll kill her.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh!
Beth: See, I'm not going to fail this time, Mother. Luis will be mine. I mean, I don't care whether they lock her up in a nut house or a coffin. Either way, I'm the winner.
Sheridan: Whenever I see Marty, hold him, hear him laugh, I just -- I know that he is my son.
Luis: Well, feelings aren't facts, Sheridan. Marty is Beth's son. We both saw her pregnancy develop, just like yours.
Sheridan: I'm sorry, Luis. I know this doesn't make any sense to you.
Luis: I just think it's unhealthy for you to keep believing in this fairy tale. But if it helps you deal with your pain and loss, then ok.
Sheridan: Ok, now you're humoring me.
Luis: Well, a little, yeah. I just hope spending time with Marty can help you get over the loss of your baby so you can move on. Hey, I'm glad we talked.
Sheridan: Yeah, me, too. You know, I think I'm going to go take that bath now.
Luis: Well, I'll run it for you, how's that?
Sheridan: No, thank you. You don't have to coddle me. I'm not as fragile as you think.
Luis: I just want you to be happy.
Sheridan: You make me happy.
Sheridan's voice: How can I make you understand? I'm not wrong, Luis. It is not my imagination. Marty is our son.
Whitney: Well, I guess that's it. No more hope. God, I don't know what I'm going to do now. Giving my child up for adoption was my last shot, and now I don't have any other options, no more choices.
Theresa: You got the best one. Keep your baby. Why don't you keep your baby, Whitney. Do the right thing. Do what's natural. Why don't you love him or her with all of your heart and let everything else fall into place.
Whitney: No, Theresa, this isn't some lifetime movie with a happy ending. This is real life. This is my life, and nothing is going to change the fact that I'm pregnant by my brother. You know, "incest" is an ugly word for a very good reason. No matter how much love I have to give, if I keep this child, the world is going to destroy it, and that's why I thought giving the baby up would give it a chance for, you know, a good life, a normal family, you know? And now I can't even do that? God, I've failed my baby again, twice before it's even born.
Katherine: Alistair will never let me go. If I try to escape this lovely prison, he will track me down, he will hunt me down, he will bring me back. He will punish me, and he will enjoy it. Or worse, he'll hurt Sheridan or Martin or anyone who tries to help me. He will hurt everyone I love to punish me for what he sees as my betrayal.
Gwen: But, Katherine, if you stay here, Alistair is going to --
Katherine: I'll be his plaything, his sexual captive, to toy with as he wishes. But better that I suffer than those I love. I asked for his help, so I will pay his price. Welcome to my world, Gwen.
Ethan: Are you -- are you sure about this?
Fox: Yes, sir. I know exactly where Katherine, Gwen, and the baby are.
Ethan: Wait a minute. Who are you calling?
Fox: Well, I got to book a private plane to Europe. I'm going to fly there tonight, you know? With any luck, I'll have Theresa's baby back in her arms tomorrow.
Ethan: No, Fox, stop. Stop. What are you doing? I'm sorry, you can't just run off and try to find them yourself. We got to contact Interpol and just leave it in their hands.
Fox: Well, yeah, of course. What, are you serious?
Ethan: Yeah. Fox, are you crazy? Alistair's behind this. If he finds out that you've been screwing his plans up -- whatever they may be -- you're as good as dead.
Fox: Well, then I'll be twice as careful. You know, what's he going to do, off me? I'm his grandson.
Ethan: So is Chad. And he had him thrown out onto the streets days after he was born. And how many times has he gone after Sheridan, huh? Don't be a fool. Just call the police. Leave it to them.
Fox: Look, Ethan, come on. I mean, you were a Crane once, remember? I mean, you know as well as I do -- Alistair -- he's got cops all over the world in his hip pocket, right? So it stands to reason he's got people at Interpol working for him, too. So if I leak this information to them, it's only a matter of time before he finds out. You know what he's going to do? He's going to take the three of them, move them to another secret location, and we're never going to find them. He's still going to be mad at me for doing this, right? So my best plan is to go there by myself and hopefully bring them back safely before he finds out.
Ethan: You're playing with fire. This is crazy. Just call my dad. He'll know what to do.
Fox: What? No. I call your dad, and then a Harmony cop in Alistair's back pocket is going to call Crane Industries within minutes. You'll never see your wife or your child again, Ethan. Of course, maybe that's what you want, right? I mean, if Gwen doesn't come home, then you won't have to make your big decision.
Ethan: Listen to me, don't you be ridiculous. Of course I want to find Gwen and Jane.
Fox: Yeah, no, sure. No, maybe on one level.
Ethan: Listen, get it through your head here! You're on the wrong track. I love Gwen very much. Did you ever stop to think for one minute that I might be a little worried because you're still my half brother, I don't want to see you get hurt, or worse?
Fox: Thanks. Didn't occur to me. Appreciate that. But, look, it's a risk I'm willing to take, ok? I made a promise to Whitney, and I intend to keep that promise. I'm going to bring Jane home if it's the last thing that I do.
Ethan: Well, it just might be. By the way, they left voluntarily. How did you plan on forcing them to come home?
Fox: Well, I don't know, Ethan, ok? I hadn't thought that far in advance. But I'm going to make it happen. There's no one or nothing that's going to stop me.
Mrs. Wallace: Now, you listen to me, missy. I have had enough of your half-baked scheme to kill Sheridan.
Beth: Yeah, tell me about it. Look, if you've got a no-fail method to put her in the ground, just clue me in.
Mrs. Wallace: That is not what I meant, and you know it! I am not going to stand here and watch you try and kill Sheridan again. Enough is enough! How much more can you put this poor woman through?
Beth: I don't know. Whatever it takes to get rid of her.
Mrs. Wallace: Ugh.
Beth: You know what? Sheridan is like cockroaches and houseguests and poor relatives all rolled into one. They just never go away. Well, guess what -- I am through being patient here.
Mrs. Wallace: Patient? Patient? Jack the ripper has more patience than you!
Beth: Well, I'm either going to help drive her crazy or I'm going to kill her, end of story. Either way, as long as she's gone for good, I'm happy.
Mrs. Wallace: Ok, Bethie. Ok, maybe you get rid of her. But there is one thing, one thing you will never, ever do.
Beth: Yeah? What's that?
Mrs. Wallace: Get Sheridan out of Luis' heart.
Beth: Stop it.
Mrs. Wallace: He will love her forever and ever and ever. They are soul mates, you dummy. Even if you get rid of her, that is not going to change.
Beth: Shut up!
Mrs. Wallace: Luis and Sheridan, sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g. It is a match made in heaven. It is. And he will never love you, no matter what you do. Never. He would take a dead Sheridan over a live Bethie any day.
Beth: Shut up. Shut up!
Mrs. Wallace: No! Stop it!
Beth: Shut up, mother!
Mrs. Wallace: Stop it!
Beth: I will -- I will have Luis! I will!
Eve: Where's Sheridan?
Luis: Taking a bath. She worries me, Eve. She just told me she still thinks that Marty's our baby.
Eve: Oh, that poor soul. Luis, don't be hard on her, ok? She's already gone through so much already. I wish I knew more about psychiatry. But I'm convinced that she has hidden strengths, and I'm sure in time she will face reality.
Luis: Yeah? I hope so. Look, I'm going to go over to Beth's. I'm going to pick up little Marty. I'll be back here as soon as I can, and hopefully the more time that Sheridan spends with him, the sooner she'll come to her senses.
Eve: Luis, you're a good man. Sheridan is lucky to have you. You're always there to catch her if she falls.
Luis: Thanks. Don't tell her where I went, ok? I want it to be a surprise when I come back here with little Marty, ok?
Luis: Oh, and don't leave her alone. I'm worried about her right now.
Eve: Will do.
Sheridan: Where'd Luis go?
Eve: Oh, he just went on an errand. He'll be back soon. How do you like your tea?
Sheridan: He asked you to stay and watch over me, didn't he?
Sheridan: As much as I love that man, he can be a little overprotective. Look, Eve, I'm fine. You don't have to stay.
Eve: Really? Are you sure?
Sheridan: Absolutely. Frankly, I'd like a little time to myself.
Eve: Oh. All right, then, honey. Well, you know that I'll just be up at the main house if you need me.
Sheridan: Thank you, Eve.
Theresa: It's going to be ok.
Theresa: I don't know, you know? You just got to have faith. I promise you, Whitney, things are going to work out somehow.
Fox: Whitney, what's wrong?
Whitney: Oh --
Theresa: She's fine. She was comforting me about Jane.
Whitney: And I'm the one who loses it. I mean, these hormones are crazy, I tell you.
Fox: It's ok. So, were you able to eat anything? Did you get anything down?
Whitney: No. Theresa did make some soup, but I'll try a little bit later, ok?
Fox: Ok. Listen, I don't know how to spring this on you -- it's a bad time -- but I kind of got to go out of town on business. I'm not sure when I'm going to be back.
Whitney: You're going to leave town? What? Well, when?
Fox: I got to go now.
Whitney: But, Fox, I --
Theresa: Fox? What's so important that you have to leave Whitney when she's about to have the baby?
Theresa: Well, what is so important that you have to leave Whitney when she's about to have the baby?
Whitney: Theresa, please.
Fox: No, no, it's ok. It's kind of a big deal. It's a big deal for Crane Industries, you know, and it's a big deal for me. It's this deal that I've been trying to close for a while now, and unfortunately now is the time. You know, if I don't close it soon, the client's just going to go with someone else.
Ethan: Yeah, and Alistair -- he would be upset.
Fox: Yes, to put it mildly. I mean, if he doesn't have me drawn and quartered, he could have me fired, you know? And where would that leave us, right? And we'd have a new baby and no job. It's -- it's kind of important. I hope you can forgive me.
Whitney: No, please, you got to go. It's ok.
Fox: And don't worry. I promise you, I'm going to be back before the baby's born, all right?
Fox: You hear that, kiddo? Knock, knock -- don't wake up, don't wake up. But Daddy's got to go out of town. But I will be back before you're born. You're the most important thing in the world to me right now -- you and your gorgeous mom. I'm going to be here before you make your big entrance.
Ethan: Why don't we give them just a minute to say goodbye alone?
Theresa: Come home soon, Fox.
Fox: Listen, this isn't a business trip I'm leaving for.
Whitney: Ok, then where are you going?
Fox: Whitney, I found them. I know where Alistair has Gwen and the baby.
Whitney: You are amazing!
Fox: So I've been told. But, listen, hold on. I don't want to tell Theresa yet, ok? It's not fair to her to get her hopes up, and then if something happens, you know, but --
Fox: But I found them, Whitney. I know where they are.
Whitney: Oh, thank you, thank you, Fox. Thank you so much!
Fox: Well, I told you I would find Jane and I would bring her home, and that's exactly what I'm going to do. I'll do anything for you, Whitney, anything for you and our baby. And I don't want you to worry, ok? I'm going to be back before the baby's born. I don't care if I have to parachute into the hospital.
Whitney: Well, I think we have time. It's ok.
Fox: Ok, well, just make sure that, you know, if little junior starts making a fuss, you tell him that --
Whitney: Or her.
Fox: Wait, I never thought about that. Ok, or her -- to, you know, hold their horses because, you know, I want to be in the room when our baby is brought into the world. After all, a Crane is about ready to born, right?
Whitney: Yeah. They come into the world like most babies, right?
Fox: Well, I mean, the three kings don't show up if that's what you mean, but there might be about a dozen lawyers in the delivery room, you know, there to witness the blessed event. Plus, I'll need to be there to sign the birth certificate and make any legal decisions about his first stock portfolio. He could invest in baby food futures.
Whitney: Yeah. You know, you're right. You will need to be there to make any important decisions that need to be made. You're right.
Whitney's voice: Or I need a way to get your permission to make decisions before you go.
Theresa: You know, I don't care how important Fox's business deal is. I mean, Whitney's about to have the baby, and she needs him.
Ethan: He knows that, Theresa. He does. He's trying to do what he thinks is right for Whitney and for his baby. I know he wants to be a father.
Theresa: Thank you.
Ethan: Thank you? Thank you for what?
Theresa: For being there for me. With everything that's happened, you haven't turned your back on me. And for that I'm grateful. You don't know how much. I just -- I don't know what I would do without you.
Ethan: Theresa, I care for -- I care about you and what happens to you very much.
Fox: Ok, now, listen, I don't want you to worry because I will be back here before you deliver the baby, ok?
Whitney: But you know what you were saying before about being prepared -- you know, any decisions that need to be made in the delivery room --
Fox: No, no, no, I was kidding. I mean, Alistair -- he's not going to let lawyers into the delivery room. Not until the second day, anyway.
Whitney: Well, what if something happens and, you know, you take longer than you think, or I go into labor early? You know, or heaven forbid something goes wrong, and they need the permission of both parents to take action.
Fox: Whoa, Whitney, hold -- that's not going to happen. Our baby is going to be fine.
Whitney: But I just want to be prepared.
Fox: Right. Ok, well, that's good. I guess I could leave you with a lot of money. Although, I don't know what good that would do if they need to talk to me. Look, Alistair may think I'm crazy for saying this, but what if I had something drafted before I left that gave you my complete power of attorney?
Whitney: Why would Alistair think you're crazy?
Fox: Well, because he doesn't trust anyone. But I trust you. I trust you with everything. I trust you with the fate of our unborn child, so, you know, if you had my power of attorney, you could make any legal decisions regarding the child while I was gone. Now, would that -- would that ease your mind?
Whitney: Hmm. Yes. Yes, that would help a lot.
Whitney's voice: More than you'll ever know.
Katherine: You've done it now, Katherine. Just grit your teeth and bear it.
[Knock on door]
Maid: For you, Mrs. Crane.
Katherine: Take it away.
Maid: I can't do that, ma'am. Mr. Crane sent explicit orders, and you know what happens when --
Katherine: I know. I know, I know. Thank you. Just -- just leave it, please.
Alistair's voice: "My dearest Katherine -- I trust you're enjoying my hospitality. I'm so looking forward to the first of many, many nights together again. The pleasure we took in one another so many years ago makes me shiver in anticipation. Though I can't be physically present with you yet, I know I'm there with you right now in your thoughts and in your dreams. There's no escaping me now, is there? Ever."
Sheridan: I never noticed it before, but Marty and I do have the same eyes. You're my child. You're my son, Marty, I know it. Mommy loves you. I'm going to find a way to get you back. I have to.
Beth: Why do you force me to lose my temper? This is no way to live. I mean, I -- I need to be in a settled, peaceful place to raise my son.
Mrs. Wallace: He's not your son!
Beth: Be careful picking that up. Don't want to break a hip, now, do you?
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, you are evil, evil, evil, and your plan is not going to work!
Beth: Watch me. I'm not going to let Marty spend time with Luis and Sheridan, and her ditsy little brain -- it's just going to go, blip. Next time you see her, she'll be making paper dollies in a rubber room.
Mrs. Wallace: Oh, Luis has a right to his son. You know, if you force him, he could get legal custody of Marty.
Beth: No, no, not a chance. Plus, I can talk rings around that man. No, hell will freeze over before I let Marty spend time with Luis and Sheridan. It's just never, never going to happen.
Mrs. Wallace: Hey, where are you going?
Beth: I'm going to go to the book cafe for closing, and I might be a while. I got to do the books, all right?
Mrs. Wallace: Well, don't fall off the wharf and drown on your way home.
Beth: Sweet dreams to you, too.
Mrs. Wallace: I should have sold her to the sideshow while I had the chance.
Mrs. Wallace: Ooh. Who could that be? Probably the F.B.I. hold on, I'm coming!
Luis: Hey, Mrs. Wallace.
Mrs. Wallace: Luis!
Luis: Yeah. I'm here for Marty.
On the Next Passions:
Whitney: The only way I can protect my child and myself is by giving it up for adoption.
Mrs. Wallace: Precious, when Beth gets home, we are dead meat. Dead meat!
